It was hard to look away from such a happy smile, did Allen secretly like animals too? He could tell by that smile and how gentle he was being with Shiro that he was really lonely. Shiro panted lightly as he shifted his head and licked Allen's face his tail wagging. Hikaru had to hold back from this cuteness overload, before he went and hugged the adorable little wolf pup.

"Allen......how long have you been on your own, what happened to the one who created you, wouldn't they still be with you?" He almost didn't want to say anything to ruin this moment for Allen, but the question was burning on his tongue.

[Kotorichan]

Allen stopped nuzzling the dog at the sound of Hikaru's words. He slowly straightened up, the smile on his face instantly disappearing. "He was killed, just three years after he changed me..." He kept gently stroking the dog's fur. "He was far too trusting... He saved a small group of vampire hunters from some other vampires, and the hunters immediately murdered him... I barely got away and I've been alone for almost forty years now..." He stared down at Shiro sadly. "Even animals hate being around me... My body is cold like a corpse and they can smell the death on me, it's unnatural so they're afraid... Just like humans"

Hikaru stood there hearing something like that was truly dishonorable not even Hikaru would go that far no matter who the person was. He almost wanted to slap himself for making the other think of the death he sighed not knowing what to say in the manner. Was this the reason he dressed the way he did and why he was always so depressed? Shiro could feel the sadness in the room he whined pushing his back legs so that he jumped into Allen's lap and licked his face before placing his paw on the male's face tapping it over and over as if saying 'there there'. Hikaru let out a small chuckle at the cute wolf cutting the deep tension in the room, he covered his mouth surprised that he let that escape his lips.

[Kotorichan]

Allen smiled slightly, although it was nowhere near as genuine as the one earlier. "Thanks Shiro... You really are special" he gently scratched behind the dog's ear. "You remind me of the dog I had when I was a kid..." He closed his eyes and sighed. "So we're leaving tomorrow night, correct?" he kept stroking Shiro, trying to get himself to relax so he could talk about their plans for the next few days.

"Hm? Yeah, but right now I am debating if I should go with my first plan and track down this rat, or listen to you and just head to where you said you last saw my brother and search there first." Hikaru walked over to the bed and laid down on it relaxing into the softness his arms laying above his head as he thought about it. This was really the first big lead he had to his brother's whereabouts. What if he found his rat and, the worse care scenario, he lies or he knows nothing, then it would be a waste of time. There was that option floating in the air he sighed turning his head to the side. He was always thinking never resting, he may have be inhuman, but that didn't mean he couldn't feel his body get heavy from exhaustion once in a while he was also so stiff in his neck and varies other places. Shiro looked at Hikaru then towards Allen and poked the vampire with his wet nose and looked toward Hikaru again.

[Kotorichan]

"He won't be there..." Allen looked over at Hikaru with a frown. He slowly stood up and walked over to the boy. "I'll tell you everything that happened... Although I doubt it will help at all..." He sat down with a sigh. "I last saw him in England, it was just one year after I turned him. He kept asking if we could go look for you even though I told him that I thought you were dead... At the time there were rumors of vampire hunters where I had found the two of you so I told him we would go when it was safer... But one night he disappeared while I was out, I immediately went to where I had met you to see if he was there but no one had seen him... Since then I've been asking other vampires if they've seen him... They haven't, but I know he's alive. Since I turned him I would be able to tell if he died"

A smile cheeped onto his face when he heard the story that sounded like Rikuru alright, he would always care about him. Why wouldn't he? They were twin brother's after all of course Rikuru would come looking for him, and he remembered those hunters that came to their house. Hikaru was still healing his body so he couldn't move, but they were the ones that took him away when he didn't want to go at all. They were the ones who got him on the track to being a hunter like them no matter how much Hikaru disliked or distrusted them. That was when he was introduced to his sensai who he had respected greatly, who taught him things those other hunters couldn't teach Hikaru since he excelled pass those fools who thought themselves so high and mighty. Hikaru hated people like that he sighed as he opened his eyes before they shifted over to Allen.

"Thank you for telling me this, those hunters that were near our home took me away since I was still breathing." Hikaru glared at the ceiling after he spoke, if it wasn't for those men he could have met with his brother, but the downfall of that would be not being able to meet his sensai, Hikaru groaned.

[Kotorichan]

"Maybe we should check there... Or anywhere that you think he might look for you..." Allen gave him a slight smile. "I hope that helps you... He really could be anywhere" The vampire sighed, suddenly feeling like it was even more hopeless. "I don't know how you expect to find him... It seems like you should have met each other at some point if you were both looking. I guess I've been about as useless as I thought I'd be"

"No he wouldn't be with them Rikuru is smart he would know to avoid hunters. But anyway I knew it wouldn't be easy from the start, the world is a big place no matter how small our planet is." Hilaru yawned he felt so heavy as he sat up and reached down to his boots and unzipped then slipping them off then going to take off his small sack that was strapped to his waist.

"And don't worry about it we will find my brother." His eyes drifted over to the vampire with a spark of determination in them before closing from the heavy eyelids.

[Kotorichan]

"If you think so..." Allen nodded slowly and lay down on the bed. "I guess we should get to some sleep so we can look for him..." He sighed and pulled the covers over himself. He still felt like the whole situation was hopeless, but he really didn't want to say anything to upset Hikaru. He rolled over onto his side and stared at the wall sadly. It felt like every day he was getting closer to being completely alone again.

It was easy for the male to curl up and fall asleep but this time he managed to get some of the blankets over himself before he fell asleep almost instantly. After Shiro finished off Allen's uneaten pizza he looked back at the two to see that one of them was still awake, hopping down from the table he ran over to the bed and hopped onto it. Panting as he walked up to Hikaru and licking his cheek. He grumbled in his sleep opening one eye he lifted his arm and pat the puppy on the head then pulled him close so that he could share his warmth. Shiro wagged his tail watching Hikaru fall back to sleep before wiggling out from under Hikaru's arm and walking over to Allen sniffing him then nibbling on his ear playfully.

Allen frowned and lightly pet Shiro's head. "You're gonna be leaving with him too aren't you?" he murmured, the sadness clear in his voice. "I guess I can't blame you... He's definitely a better companion than I'll ever be..." He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, trying to get himself to relax. After just a few more minutes he fell into a light sleep, his hand lightly resting on Shiro's head.

Shiro whined as he listened to Allen, he watched the other fall asleep before moving out from under his hand and sat there on top of the two of them. Leave? He didn't want to leave ether of them they were his new family so why would they leave? The pup knew he was hiding something from the both of them so maybe sharing it with the both of them would keep them together, he knew he couldn't talk in this form. Shiro watched as Hikaru felt around the bed searching for him before turning around and moving closer to Allen. When the next night came Hikaru was the first to wake up since he felt something heavy laying on his chest. He groaned as he lifts his hand and touches soft fur, his mind went straight to Shiro, but the fur felt strange it felt shaggy, Hikaru opened one eye in the darkness and saw a mess of white in his face and big fluffy ears. His eyes were already adjusted to the darkness so he instantly saw the leg and hands. Eyes widened he sat up as a small body slid down his chest. Reaching for the light to make sure he wasn't dreaming it he looked down at himself again to make sure and he was not wrong. There was a kid in their room and not just any kid this one had puffy whiter ears on top of his head with a tail to match. Sharp claws and messy white hair he was also quite pale for a kid. Saying nothing Hikaru reached over to Allen and shook his arm trying to wake him up. Somewhere in the back of his mind he knew Shiro was a werewolf he was way too smart to be a normal wolf.

Shiro:

Allen groaned and opened his eyes, still sleepy. "What? It's not time to get up is it-" He stopped himself when he saw the strange boy on the bed. His brow furrowed in confusion. "Who the hell? I must still be asleep..." He rolled back onto his side and closed his eyes, trying to go back to sleep. The vampire was far too tired to think straight, and having some boy in their room was just too strange to be possible.

Hikaru couldn't believe it Allen rolled back over and went right back to sleep. He frowned wanting to kick the lazy male out of the bed for being stupid. But the kid laying on his shifted in his sleep before waking up, Hikaru stared at him as he rubbed his eyes. Sitting up Hikaru slipped out from under the wolf boy and pulled at Allen's hair.

"Your not dreaming wake up, Shiro is a werewolf, I must have saved him from a hunters tap which means we need to leave this town right now." Hikaru looked at the clock it was six pm at night it got darker faster since it was Winter now. Shiro looked at Hikaru and smiled his tail wagging as he pounced on the hunter.

 

"Yay!! Your awake!!" He smiled happily.

[Kotorichan]

Allen finally sat up and glanced at Hikaru. "Why do we have to leave? He hasn't caused any problems yet, can't we just stay for a couple more hours? I'm exhausted..." He ran his hands through his hair and sighed. "Why're you in this form now? You've been a dog since we found you..." The vampire muttered, glaring at Shiro. He was far too tired to deal with packing up and leaving because Hikaru had picked up some werewolf.

Shiro looked over to Allen when he spoke then he sat up his fluffy ears lowering.

"Because, fang man wants to leave Shiro likes fang man and ninja, is new family now, no want to leave Shiro all alone.....again." Shiro whined Hikaru looked at the sad boy it bugged him that Shiro's English was broken and he was referred to as ninja, he would have to work on Shiro's pronunciation. But the boy was smart enough to know what was going on around him and he revealed himself just to stop the two from leaving him, so Hikaru's hunch was right Shiro was abandoned in that trap, the wolves must have known he was different from them.

 

"Shiro I'm not going to leave you, any my name is Hikaru, and fang man is named Allen." Shiro glanced up at the two his ears lifting a bit, then his gaze went over to Allen.

[Kotorichan]

Allen sighed and shook his head. "You're not going to be all alone Shiro. Hikaru is going to stay with you. Once we find his brother I'll be leaving, but you'll have Hikaru and his brother..." The vampire hated to say it outloud, but his face remained completely emotionless. "It'll be a lot better for you anyone, I'm not a good role model for you..." He got out of bed and straightened out his clothes. "It's clear that you are far more attached to him anyway, for good reason too" he laughed dryly.

Shiro stared at Allen, then toward Hikaru who was trying not to look at Allen, what he said was true, once they found his brother then Allen would leave them, but then-

"But then Allen would be all alone." Hikaru blinked it was as if the pup could read his thoughts, he looked at Shiro who never took his eyes off of Allen.

"Shiro don't care about rolling mud dolls." Hikaru covered his mouth so that he wouldn't burst out laughing from Shiro misunderstanding.

"Shiro can smell it on Allen, the loneliness and sadness, Shiro is the same, so Allen stays right Hi.....Hi..." It was hard for him to say Hikaru's name, so the ninja slowly pronounced it for him until he understood how to say it properly.

"Being alone is bad, it makes you feel back and hurts on the inside, right here." Shiro pointed to his chest, the kid was wise in ways Hikaru didn't think he could be.

[Kotorichan]

Allen turned his back towards the two, forcing his voice to remain calm. "I've been alone for a long time... It doesn't matter if I'm alone again" The vampire's voice trembled slightly at the last word as he was unable to hide how painful the idea was. "I'm going to take a shower before we leave. Make sure you pack up all your things." He felt tears burning at his eyes. It made everything even more difficult when the werewolf said it out loud. He choked back tears and hurried to the bathroom, needing space to calm himself down.

He could easily hear the sadness in his throat, Hikaru said nothing since he didn't know what to say, the other was truly alone and it was getting to him. Sometime he thought it was a curse to live forever watching the friends you made grow old and die off. Hikaru sighed as he watched the ears lower on Shiro's head as he changed back into his pup form and curled up on the bed whining. Running his fingers through his hair he didn't know what to say, he barely knew this guy he could just feed him words he wanted to hear, Hikaru had to distract himself from this so he began to pack up all their things and strapped on his bag and sword. He didn't know why the other always took so many showers he didn't smell bad at all, so wasn't one enough?

"Come on Shiro." Hikaru reached for the pup and picked him up before walking over to the door and knocking on it.

"Hey um...I got everything, so let's go."

[Kotorichan]

Allen didn't bother washing himself, he just felt so horribly sad. The vampire sat down on the floor of the shower and quietly cried. The sound of running water would drown out his soft sobs and Hikaru wouldn't bother him if he said he was showering. He didn't move until Hikaru called for him. Finally he stood up and dried himself off. The vampire dressed himself again, growling softly as he realized he still didn't know how to properly put on the new clothes. When Allen finally came out his clothes looked like a complete mess and his hair was still wet.

Once again Hiraku found himself fixing Allen's clothing and drying off the male's head since he put Shiro in a side bag he purchased at a shop.

"What is it with you it's like you're some kid that can't even look out for himself." Once he was finished he sighed and took one final look around to make sure nothing was left behind, he looked down at Shiro who whined before sinking deep into the bag, as if trying to hide from the two, he wanted to close the gap that was pulling them apart, but he only ended up making it bigger. Hikaru frowned when he saw the upset pup and then the sad looking vampire. Did his job as a hunter suddenly turn into a babysitter or pep-rally coach he was dealing with a suicidal vampire and a grumpy werewolf. He sighed wondering how he ended up in the middle of all this, what was next ghosts? Hikaru shivered at the thought as he grabbed Allen by the waist and pulled him along.

"Let's go." He tried to clear his thoughts as he moved on out of the room.

[Kotorichan]

"You bought me weird clothes that are hard to put on..." Allen snapped, batting Hikaru's hands away. "And I can't get sick so there's no reason to spend extra time drying my hair...." He glared at the boy, baring his teeth in frustration. "You can stop acting like my fucking mother..." he shoved his hands into his pockets and left the room. He knew there was no reason for him to get angry at Hikaru, but he couldn't help it. He didn't want to get any closer to the boy, but all the kind gestures was making it extremely difficult.

He watched the other get angry and walk off in a fit it got Hikaru thinking that maybe he should stop these annoying habits of looking after someone else it was doing nothing but making mattes worst. So he decided to control himself as they waited inside the elevator going down to the lobby. It was unbearably quiet and awkward as the soft dinging of the machine was the only thing that cut through the silence. Once the door was open Hikaru hurried out and up to the front desk his mask of innocence up when dealing with the employees. Saying sorry for taking an extra day and hurrying to pay them so that they could leave. The process didn't take long as he turned and hurried to the front entrance in complete silence. Shiro made not one peep as he walked down the road heading toward the airport. Hikaru sighed lightly his eyes on the pavement.
