Midnight Feast (A Danni_25 & Pigeon RP)

[Kotorichan]

Allen followed in silence. He hated that he got so moody around Hikaru. He always had a short temper but it was even worse with the boy. He honestly wished that he hasn't figured out why he got like this, it made it worse to know. He cared about the other he didn't want to leave him, he didn't want to be left alone again. Some part of the vampire made him want to find some way to slow down the search for Hikaru's brother so that they could be together longer. But Allen knew that the longer they stayed like this the worse it would get, and Shiro wasn't helping matters...

With each quiet step his pace felt slower and slower till he stopped fully in his tracks and stood there to think. What was he going to do with Shiro and Allen once he found his brother? Would Rikuru still be hateful toward Allen, will he accept Shiro? Hikaru closed his eyes and sighed the bricks of his anxiety piling up on his back. But he had to remember this was his brother he was thinking about, Rikuru never held grudges for long, and he loved animals so he might like Shiro, so what was he so worried about. Straightening his back Hikaru gained his momentum back and continued on his way to the airport. His eyes glanced down at his bag when he saw the said little white wolf curled up in a ball of sadness. Hikaru couldn't stop himself from comforting the puppy by reaching into his bag and petting the soft fur.

[Kotorichan]

"Hikaru..." Allen began slowly. "Perhaps we should part ways now... If we keep in contact with each other then we could plan to search in multiple places at once, then we would be twice as likely to find him" It was true that it would be more effective, but mostly Allen just wanted to get away from the boy before his feelings developed any more. He knew that Hikaru wouldn't let him leave before they found Rikuru, but maybe they could at least spend some time apart.

Hearing Allen speak his name made a chill run up his back, he stopped in his tracks again and stood at a curb. Listening to the others words, thinking it over in his mind. Did he scare the other that much that he didn't want to be around him anymore? Or maybe there was another reason that Allen wanted to distance himself, Hikaru thought his words over carefully, but decided to be blunt and straight to the point.

"That does sound like a good idea, too bad I don't trust you enough to follow through with it. Even being with you for this short while I can see that your depressed and lonely, I'm not stupid I have been observing you a lot. For one you don't take very good care of yourself, you get angry when you don't want me to discover something, and you even have suicidal thoughts, wanting me to kill you is one example. Plus how will you keep in contract with me I have no address for you to send me letters and we both don't have cellphones. So in short to answer your question, no we will not split up and if you try to leave me again I'll strap you up like a dog and drag you with me. Besides its better to stay in groups, I found out splitting apart is more dangerous and we may need one another aid." Hikaru folded his arm as if grounding his decision he was not going to let this man out of his sight for one second, no one liked being alone, not even him, he was actually a little happy deep down inside to have someone coming with him to find his brother.

Allen stared at the boy for a moment. He really didn't want to stay anywhere near him. "I'm not staying with you" He growled. "And I'm sure you'd prefer to spend your time searching for Rikuru instead of me, I've already told you everything I know so I'm not going to be anymore help" He took a step back away from Hikaru, intending to make a run for it. "I don't want to make a scene... Just go your separate way"

He didn't move one step he just stood there staring at the other with a blank look on his face. He was reading Allen's body trying to figure out what was going on through that male's mind.

"You lied to me, but what was I to expect from you? You said in the beginning that you would help me search for my brother. But I guess you just didn't want to die so you came up with words I wanted to hear.........fine if you want to leave so badly then go I don't need anyone to help me, I was tired of babysitting you anyway." His eyes turned dark and cold as he glared at the ground his fingers gripping at the strap around his shoulder.

"Does what happen to us haunt you or all of the people you murder? Are you feeling some type of guilt that I lived, or maybe seeing my face angers you because my brother left you behind. Maybe that is the reason........forget what I said before if you want to be on your own for the rest of eternity then be my guest I'm fine with my quest, I've done it for this long on my own." It was as if Hikaru was trying to convince himself of this and forced his body to move onward without looking back. His pace was slow but he was getting further away, he felt movement in his bag and looked down to see Shiro jump out of the bag and run back a little sitting in the middle of Hikaru and Allen.

"Shiro what are you doing? Let's go." The pup whined as he sat down, Hikaru frowned when the wolf pup disobeyed him, it felt like he was being stabbed in the back.

"FINE!! I DON'T NEED ETHER OF YOU!!" Hikaru turned away and ran off, Shiro's eyes widened as he stood up, his tail going between his legs and his ears flattened on his head as he watched Hikaru disappear in the distance. The pup whined as he laid down on the cold ground, clouds rolling in from above and thunder booming in the distance.

Allen bit his lip and hesitated for a moment before running after the boy. "Hikaru! Wait!" He yelled. He glanced down at Shiro as he passed him. "Come on, he'll want you too" He felt stupid for doing this, what he really wanted was to get the other completely out of his life. But he couldn't let the boy feel like he was completely alone. He needed Hikaru to understand, even if they meant they'd really never see each other again.

Shiro's ears popped up when Allen ran past him shouting for Hikaru to come back. The wolf pup bounced up and chased after Allen who was chasing after Hikaru who had a head start of them. His tail wagged glad that Allen changed his mind about things and slowly they were catching up with the quick little hunter as he weaved around people on the side walk and was running across the street. But he didn't notice the car that wasn't paying attention to the lights and at the last moment slammed on the breaks. Hikaru spotted it for a split second and jumped backward, but was still hit a little as he flew backwards hitting the curb and some bystanders as well.

Shiro let out a yelp as he hurried to Hikaru's side, his leg got hit, and his head was pounding from the impact as he tried to make the world stop spinning so that he could get up. He would be able to heal himself, but it was going to take a little time, so for the moment he flinched when he tried to get up and stumbled back down. How in the hell did he not see that coming he was a hunter for crying out loud, but his mind was clouded and he wasn't able to think as clearly as he normally does. People began to crowd and panic, some of them starting to call the cops and asking if Hikaru was alright and that he should stop moving, the male's eyes widened he was drawing too much attention and he didn't want to be here when the cops showed up he had to get out of here quick, but his leg was still healing.

Allen watched in horror as the boy was hit. As soon as people began to crowd around Hikaru Allen jumped into action. He pushed through the crowd and scooped Hikaru up in his arms, holding him princess-style. "Move out of the way, I'll take him to the hospital." He snapped to one of the people. The crowd began to move back to allow him space. "Just hang on a second..." Allen murmured, pushing his way through the crowd. He carried Hikaru away from the people and to a park. "Alright... Just calm down... Can you heal your leg or do you need help?"

Shiro bared his fangs at the strangers that got too close, but as soon as Allen had Hikaru and ran off the wolf pup followed right behind the vampire, keeping up with ease. Hikaru gained enough sense to noticed that he was being carried, but to his shock it was princess style. His ears grew hot and red as he was pulled away from the scene of the crime. When he was set down he held his head as his whole body was recovering from shock by shivering. Shiro walked up next to the hunter and whined, the male's eyes widened, why were these two here? Hikaru opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out, with shaky hands he touched his neck.

What the heck was wrong with him, he could fight supernatural being with no problems, but getting hit by a speeding car is what stirs him up? He looked at the ground still holding his throat before looking at Allen when he asked them a question. The male only stared at the vampire why did they come back? Hikaru tried to talk again, but nothing happened.

[Kotorichan]

"Hikaru..." Allen gently touched his cheek. "Please calm down... I... I only wanted to leave because I don't want to get attached... I already like you way more than I should..." He blushed and looked away, pulling away sadly. "I can't let myself fall for you, because it'll only make it more painful when we part ways..." He sighed and shook his head. "I didn't want to upset you, but I can't stay with you like this... I'm sorry" The vampire looked at Hikaru's leg. "Once your leg is better I'm going to be leaving..."

His mouth hung out in complete and utter shock, where the heck did that come from, when did the other start to like him? His body felt as if it was going to go into shock a second time. Hikaru could feel his whole face turn red, what was with the random confession? He tried to figure out when the other started to like him, it had only been what maybe three days that they have been together, and Hikaru did hate the other in the beginning right? He closed his eyes willing his body to calm down. He closed his mouth and this time when it opened words came out.

"W-What? H-How did you come to that? I-I was mean and hateful towards you, when did you just up and like m-me?" He flinched because he could feel his bones snapping back into place, his face still glowing red as he took all of this in. Shiro's tail wagged as he looked at the two.

[Kotorichan]

Allen couldn't bring himself to look at the boy anymore. "It's not like I'm in love with you... you don't have to look at me like that..." The vampire had a pained expression on his face. He knew that Hikaru would be disgusted, that was part of the reason he told him. If The boy was disgusted with him then he would let him leave. "I guess it was yesterday... I just started to tell that I was beginning to have feelings for you, and so I can't stay here"

He sat there and processed the others words, trying to study the parts of his face that were visible. He then looked to the ground trying to think what had happened yesterday that made the other like him. Well besides dressing him in new clothes and stopping him from killing himself might have done the trick, or maybe it was sleeping in the bed with the other, thinking back to that Hikaru's ears burned up. He was pulled from his thoughts when Allen spoke again and tilted his head once he was finished.

"Why can't you stay? Its not like if we become comrades I'll grow old and die off anytime soon. There is no need for you to worry about that....also I guess I should apologize to you and Shiro for snapping at the both of you. And thanks for getting me out of there I should say that before anything else." Hikaru showed no signs of being replused by the other getting over his shock in an instant, he looked down at his white fuzzball that whined, and moved closer to him placing one paw and his head gently on Hikaru's arm.

[Kotorichan]

Allen clenched his hands into fists, staring down at the ground. "Why are you saying that stuff? Why would you actually want to stay around me? I messed up your whole life didn't I? Just let me leave already! I don't want to get attached to you, why don't you get that?" He looked up and glared at the boy. "I'm sick of feeling like this" His shoulders shook with frustration, he couldn't actually trust Hikaru to stay with him. He thought that he would just leave as soon as he found Rikuru.

Hikaru stared at the other and thought about what the other had did in the beginning, feeding off his dying brother turning him into a vampire to save his life. Hikaru didn't know that of the time and attacked Allen to try ad save his brother, but ended up getting badly hurt, but saved by his turning brother who bleed into Hikaru's mouth, but was taken away by Allen.

".....All I want to know is....why did you leave me behind, why did you not take me with you and Rikuru....we're twins we belong together even if one of us is dying." Hikaru stared at the ground the bitter memory going through his head.

"No one likes to be alone.....not even me." His voice was low almost a whisper as Hikaru sat there frowning at the ground.

[Kotorichan]

Allen stared down at the ground, trying to calm himself down. "I thought you were dead... And I didn't want Rikuru to try to feed on your corpse..." He finally said quietly. "It's very difficult for new vampires to control themselves, so I didn't know if he would be able to control himself. I knew that he would regret it more than anything if he did something like that, so I took him away as quickly as possible. Then after a day or two I knew he would be able to control himself, but the hunters were in the area and it was too dangerous to go back for your body..." He sighed. "I know I messed up, but I did what I thought was right..."

Hikaru's eyes widened he didn't think of that, but Allen was correct about that, if Rikuru did such a thing he would be in complete depression and might try to end himself. All the hate Hikaru had for Allen seemed to just vanish and he felt a weight lift off his shoulders. He stared at the ground letting out a small laugh, so Allen really was trying to help the brothers out. Rikuru might lose it if he saw the Hunters take his brother's body away. The hunters would try to kill Rikuru and it would be worst, Hikaru sighed as he leaned forward his head resting on Allen's shoulder.

"...........I'm sorry.........and thank you." His body just relaxed all the stress he had piled up inside of himself just vanished instantly. Even after a night's rest he was tired again, it was all a misunderstanding.

[Kotorichan]

Allen frowned and tried to slowly pull away. "Stop it... I already told you that I don't want to get any closer to you, you aren't going to want to be around me after you find Rikuru..." He pushed his hands into his pockets. "I don't want to keep doing this, I'm not going to be useful to you anymore so don't pretend that you want me around" He stared at the ground, grinding his teeth together in frustration. The vampire just wanted to get over the boy as soon as possible.

".......If you wanted to leave me this badly you would have done so long ago, but you came back, and here you are still talking to me. Trying to convince yourself and me that I won't need you when my brother is found. I won't gain anything from lying to and I won't make you stay if you want to go so badly. I will try to find my brother on my own if I have to, I just wanted to apologize for my behavior, and thank you for getting me this far, but know this you don't know what could happen in the future, we may need each other's help, we may not, but guessing at this moment will not help the both of us." Hikaru looked back at his foot he was able to move it but not a lot just yet.

[Kotorichan]

"I didn't want you to chase after me... And... I didn't want you to hate me..." Allen slipped his hands into his pockets, embarrassed to be saying this out loud. "I really am starting to like you... So it would hurt to know that you hated me, I just want you to forget about me instead." He tried his best to keep the pain out of his voice but failed horribly, the vampire sounded like he might even start crying.

"Why do I have to forget you? Is it such a bad thing, I don't see the harm in remembering you." Hikaru glazed up at the vampire, easily hearing the sadness in his voice, he closed hi eyes and sighed.

"Allen, you don't have to leave, who said that I will abandon you once I find my brother. You act as if the world is tiny and he would be easy to find, I have been searching for years." Hikaru looked down at Shiro who was resting between Hikaru and Allen.

[Kotorichan]

"Why would you want to be around me? I've been a vampire for years but I still mess up and kill people sometimes..." Allen let his hair fall in front of his face to cover his expression. "You think I'm a murderer don't you? I don't know how to control myself when I get to hungry, and now I'm getting a crush on you like an idiot... Why would you be around me now that you don't need me...?"

[Danni_25]

"I never said I didn't need you, stop putting words in my mouth, also I told you about my products I have been working on to help my brother control his cravings I'm sure we can share it with you......Wait did you say crush?" Hikaru snapped his head up to look at Allen, his ears got hot and it spread to his face.

"W-When did that happen?!"

[Kotorichan]

Allen's face turned red at the boy's reaction. "T-that's what I meant when I said I like you, what did you think I was trying to say?" he covered his face with one of his hands. "Fuck, I thought you knew that... I just made this even more weird didn't I?" he felt even worse now that he had really confessed.
