Jake slowly opened his eyes, yawning. "Huh, what work ... what are you talking about, I --" He gasped and quickly got up, nearly falling off the bed in the process. Shit, the cake, it must've burned in the oven! And what time was it, was he late for work? How much did he sleep? Jake panicked and quickly ran downstairs to check on the cake, seeing that it was already out from the oven and ready. He blinked in surprise, wondering who could've taken care of that, but then he remembered that Fadil probably saved the cake.

He sighed and scratched the back of his head, deciding to put on some pants first. He didn't want to wave his soft manhood around shamelessly, even if he lived alone. He put on a pair of shorts and decided to wash his hands first, before he prepared the decorations for the cake. He first cut the cake in a few layers, and then waited for Fadil to come, so they could decorate it together.

"Hey, come over here." Jake called, waiting rather impatiently as he looked around the kitchen. He wasn't happy that he overslept again, but at least Fadil woke him up in time. He wondered what chocolate the boy liked the most, but seeing how he didin't even know what chocolate was before, he probably liked any type. Black, white, hot or cold. "What's with me and sleep these days, I fall asleep right after sex. It's weird." Jake mumbled, frowning at himself. He didn't like that one bit. Besides, before when he's had sex with women, it never happened. So why now? Was it because of the orgasm? He usually didn't cum during sex before, so could it be that the orgasm was the cause of his sleepiness?

Yes, that must be it, Jake thought. Usually, when he had sex with others, he just made others cum first, and then took a cold shower to calm his erection down. He didn't ejaculate, unless it was impossible for him to hold it in, or he was jerking off alone at home. And because of that, he was always so energetic after sex, so lively ... now, he fell asleep right after it! "I'm done falling asleep." Jake pouted. He would have to stop cumming during sex, if he wanted to be as wide awake and happy as Fadil after that.

Fadil didn't have enough time to tell Jake he turned off the oven, before he ran out of the room. "Dork," Fadil said with a soft chuckle, while he got up and moved to the dresser to get properly drEssex in a t shirt and jeans. It was still weird for Fadil to feel such rough fabric against his skin, instead of the silks he wore in his lamp, but he actually kind of liked them. The clothes felt new and fresh, like a newly grown fruit! Sure they felt a bit uncomfortable, but if he was going to stick with Jake, he just had to get over it.

A wide smile spread on his lips when Jake called him, and just like a good little genie, Fadil ran to him at his command. Flying down the stairs, Fadil heard Jake talk to himself, making Fadil smile. "You do most if your growing when you sleep, I heard so on the television!" Fadil proudly said, while he walked over to Jake and kissed him softly on the lips. His eyes flashed over towards the cake, felling excitement course through his body like blood.

"It looks so yummy," Fadil said, his mouth watering just looking at the sugary treat. His eyes flickered back towards Jake, sealing his lips again. "Thank you for thinking of baking this. I can't wait to eat it!" Fadil said with a laugh following. After a few seconds of silence, Fadil began to speak again. "So, what did you want?"

"Mm, you heard right. See, you started watching TV yesterday, and you already got smarter." Jake teased him as he kissed him back, embracing the boy's hips in a gentle, warm hug. He loved him. He loved him so much, he would do anything to make him happy. He squeezed Fadil lovingly, before he let him go and turned around to face the cake. He took the frosting and the chocolate, handing the frosting to Fadil so he wouldn't get burned from the sweet, but hot liquid.

"Now we decorate. See, the cake is ready. It's baked and cut in two. Now we put some chocolate cream on the first layer. Put as much as you like. Then I'll add the second layer, put it on top, and cover the whole cake in more chocolate. Then you decorate with the wipped cream. Last, we let it cool off and we eat. Sounds easy enough?" Jake smiled as he explained, pouring some sweet sugar syrup on the cake to make it moist and juicy.

With that being said, it was time for the decoration. Jake let the genie put the chocolate cream on top of the first layer, and patiently waited for him to cover all of it, before he put the second layer on top of the first one, and covered both layers in molten chocolate. It would certainly turn out very beautiful and very tasty. And with Fadil decorating the top with wipped cream, it would be even better. "Good boy. You're very good at this." Jake encouraged as he watched Fadil. Although it wasn't rocked science, he had hope that Fadil would do good in decorating the cake.

Fadil carefully decorated the cake, with a still hand. One of the perks to being immortal and trapped in a lamp most of his life, was that he had plenty of time to expand on his artistic hand. For once, instead if focusing his energy on Jake or the surroundings around him, Fadil focused on the perfect waves and roses he decorated the cake with. Grabbing a butter knife, Fadil began to give the already seemingly perfect design more definition, by adding more to the roses, or simply just lightly running the knife around to make was looked like a ribbon like design.

When Fadil was finished, the cake looked like something from a magazine. "I saw some people make this on a wedding cake show. I thought the design was beautiful!" Fadil said, as he turned to Jake, his eyes darting back at the left over whipped cream. He dipped his finger into the white fluffy substance, before he drew a little heart on the side of Jake's cheek. "Your face was missing something," Fadil teased, sticking out his tongue.

Of course, Fadil was only joking. Jake was perfect to him! He was everything Fadil could ever ask for, and ever need. It bummed him out that he had to go to work soon, but he had to go to make money - even if he was going to kiss other people. Fadil hated that he didn't have Jake's lips only to himself, but at least their kisses meant something to each other... right? Maybe he'd feel better if he walked with Jake to work, so he could show those girls what real love looked like! The genie looked up at Jake with a look of a begging puppy, "hey, Jake, can I walk with you to work?"

Jake smirked and dipped his own finger in the whipped cream, deciding to show his artistic spirit. "Oh yeah? You got something missing as well." He said, getting closer to the smaller male so he could draw on his cheek with a finger. It wasn't a heart, though. Nor was it a triangle. Or a square! It was something Fadil would never guess unless he sees himself in a mirror. Stepping back to admire his handiwork, Jake burst in laughter. "Oh God you look amazing." He chuckled, handing his phone so Fadil could look at his reflection in the black screen.

He had a penis drawn on his cheek !

Jake laughed for a while before he helped the boy wipe it off and looked at him with a loving smile. He wondered whether he should actually let the genie walk him to work, especially since he had no idea if he was going to be able to find his way back home. Then again, Fadil could stay in the dress room or in the club, in case he didn't know the way back. But then again, Jake doubted the boy would enjoy the sight in the club. So perhaps the only place he could stay was in the dress room.

"Alright, you can come." Jake decided. He couldn't say no to that face, especially after he drew a dick on it. He owed at least that much to the genie, to compensate his horrible drawing skills. "But try to behave. You can stay in the dress room or in the club if you want, but you're going to tell me immediately if that freak Noel does something funny to you, yeah?" Jake gently caressed his lover's face, watching him both worriedly and sternly, before he gave a little smile and went to take his clothes. He was going to dress up at work. For now, he could leave with just some pants, shirt and a jacket. But first he was going to wait for Fadil to dress up properly, and then they would leave.

Again, in the air ... this feeling of lightness, and at the same time, dread of being watched. Perhaps it was the mysterious God-like creature that Fadil spoke to? This time he wasn't visible, though. Who was he, and what did he want? He surely meant no harm, but ... knowing that someone, somewhere was watching every move you make, was rather uncomfortable.

Fadil looked at his reflection, his face turning bright red. He looked away from his reflection, too embarrassed to even look at himself... how could Jake even look at him? After Jake finished laughing, he did the sweet gesture of wiping it off. Fadil looked up at him, smiling back with the look of adoration. The smile only grew when Jake said he could go, and that look of adoration turned into sheer excitement. "Thank you!" Fadil said quickly, before Jake began to talk again. This made Fadil frown slightly, especially when Jake insulted Noel. "He didn't try anything last time. Like I said, I... I was the one that drank the alcohol, on my own free will." Fadil said, leaving out the part about getting incredibly jealous. "But, if he does try anything, I'll tell you immediately." Fadil softly said, in hopes to help his lover feel more at ease.

When Jake walked away, Fadil looked down at his frosting covered shirt with a frown. He was almost as dirty as the penis drawn on his cheek - almost. Deciding to change out of the fresh shirt, Fadil embarked on his journey to the bedroom. "I'll only be a second!" Fadil said, before turning to the hallways their bedroom was at, and opening the door. When Fadil was alone, he looked around. The feeling of being watched burned at the back of his head like a magnifying glass in the sun, making his stomach curl. What did he want? Could he even be trusted?

Fadil pushed the man out of his head, before grabbing a random grey t-shirt and a pie of black skinny jeans. He then grabbed a pair of plain white socks and slipped on his shoes before dashing downstairs. "Ready!" He yelled, like an excited dog. To be honest, Fadil really wanted to talk to Noel again. He was really nice, and Fadil didn't think he was trying anything... they were just talking like friends, right? Fadil smiled, excited to both show those girls who Jake was dating, and to socialize with Noel. He just had to get Jake on board with letting him speak to Noel.

Jake was about to snap when Fadil kept protecting Noel like that, but he got significantly calmer the moment his genie promised to report if anything like that happens again. He nodded and patted Fadil on the shoulders, glad that the boy was obedient. Usually, Jake was a calm person, but he didn't stand people disagreeing with him and arguing, especially since he was always so sure in himself and his words. Besides, his jealousy was one that shouldn't be triggered. Jake was one to act on instinct most of the time, and when he was jealous, his instinct was to kill.

"Mm, sure thing. Take your time." Jake called, letting the genie dress up calmly. Of course, there was not a lot of time to waste, but he only said it because he knew Fadil would dress up quickly, and wouldn't need to take much of his time. He looked around and made sure he got all his work clothes wrapped up nicely in his bag, before he took his car keys. He wasn't going to walk all the way there. Walking was something he did when it was warm outside. Speaking of warmth, maybe he should've taken a hot shower. He looked in his pants and smirked. "You smug little fucker." He purred, zipping his pants up again.

Once Fadil was ready, Jake put his jacket on and gently hugged his genie's waist as he guided him outside to the car. They got inside, with Jake driving to the host club. They reached it in no time, or at least it felt that way, because Jake knew that he wouldn't be able to stay by Fadil in the club, so he savoured the moments they had in the car. Once they entered the club, Jake went to change his clothes in the dress room, and Fadil was left to choose where he wanted to stay - either in the club, trying out some drinks and talking to people, or in the dress room.

Not that Fadil had much of a choice, since Noel could be spotted almost immediately, sitting alone at the bar. For some reason, the man had no clients to serve tonight. Perhaps his ladies just haven't arrived yet? Or was it because Jake was more popular amongst the customers of this club ...

Speaking of Jake, the man dressed up swiftly, and was now on the go, walking back and forth with the drinks for his clients tonight. They were a group of ladies, surprisingly young ones at that, and were all sitting on one table, with Jake between them. They wished for someone flirty, hot and suggestive - not the kind of guy Noel was. If someone wanted Noel, they would have wished for a reserved, romantic, understanding man who liked to listen. Obviously, no one wanted that kind of men anymore.

That lonely look in the man's deep, dark eyes was reflecting the slow song that was playing in the background. The lyrics seemed to sync magically with the black haired French's mood, or at least, the distant look on his pretty face.

Noel looked around as he drank his wine, seemingly searching for someone. Sip after sip, he would stare in the distance, then thoughtfully gaze in his drink. He could see his friend, Jake, had arrived to work. Naturally, the charismatic man brought life to this club, despite the rather emotional song. Perhaps, if Jake was here ... then the little boy would be here, too. Noel's eyes livened up when he lifted his head once more and scanned the club. He indeed spotted the white haired beauty. A little smile lightly danced on his lips.

Fail looked over at Jale while they sat in the car, with a sweet smile on his lips. It was a quiet drive, but it was by no means unpleasant! When the two had to get out of the car, they went straight into the club where Jake departed for the dressing room. "I love you!" Fadil whispered, hod eyes following Jake until he dissappeared behind the door to the dressing room. Feeling a little alone now that Jake had gone, his eyes searched for Noel, finding him almost immediately. Fadil frowned at the loneliness in Noel's eyes, and his heart ached inside his chest. A soft, welcoming smile spread across his lips when Noel found him, and he even waved.

He turned his attention towards Jake for a moment, seeing him with the group of girls. Fadil hoped that all of those girls got lost on the way home, and had to sleep on a bus stop. Turning his attention back towards Noel, Fadil walked towards Noel and sat next to him. "Hi," Fadil softly said, looking up at Noel. He hoped that him being here would make the loneliness in Noel's eyes go away. It was a firm belief that loneliness was the worst feeling of them all. Sadly, Fadil knew that feeling all too well, sense he spent a great majority of his life trapped inside a lamp, with only books and paintings as a source of company.

"How... how are you?" Fadil asked, his eyes meeting with Noel's with a glimmer in them. "I'm sorry about... u-um..." Fadil looked down, and dropped his voice. "I'm sorry about Jake. He must have really hurt you. I've been worried sick about you, to be honest," Fadil said, meeting with Noel's eyes again. "Thank you for making me feel so comfortable, by the way! I was so uncomfortable when I first arrived here, but you made me feel so welcome. I've been wanting to thank you for that for a while now, and here you are!" The genie said, pointing his finger at Noel with a grin. He seemed really happy to talk to Noel, at the moment. As much as he loved Jake, it was fun talking to other people sometimes. Or course no one would ever replace Jake in his heart, but it was okay to talk to some people and be friends with them, right?

Fadil looked over his shoulder, and saw Jake surrounded by the girls again. The girls didn't matter though, because Fadil just knew Jake wouldn't fall for them, like he did the genie. They were shit out of luck, and in a way, that made Fadil feel happy. He turned his attention back towards Leon, "this song is pretty. What's it called?" Fadil asked, cupping his hands together and putting them in his lap.

Noel silently watched him, his cat-like pupils reflecting the colorful lights and the glimmer in the other's eyes. Fadil was very talkative and lively. It was surprising, to say the least. After all, Jake was right there, flirting with other girls, and the boy was sitting here, being all happy and talking like there was no tomorrow. Unless, of course, the genie felt pain and jealousy, and wanted to somehow distract himself or give Jake a bit of his own medicine by being with other people, just like he is doing right now. That thought made Noel's eyes darken, but he didn't mind being used by the gentle human being beside him.

When the genie asked about the song, Noel knew it was time for him to talk. He hummed and looked around, as if trying to figure out the song's name. Then he looked back at Fadil and licked his lips, drinking some of his wine. "Habits of my heart," He said, tracing the wine glass edges with his finger. "by Jaymes Young. This is the remake by Sufjan Stevens." He explained, offering a little smile.

Of course, he knew there were other questions pending, which had been asked earlier by Fadil, so Noel figured he should answer them as well. "I'm fine, thank you for your concern. Jake is my friend, I'm used to his personality." He said. He knew his friend could be very cold, violent and aggressive. In fact, it confused him greatly that Jake was so nice with someone, in this case Fadil. He never figured that man could change so much.

"You're welcome, little one. It's my duty to make this club's customers comfortable." Noel said with a smile. He wanted to order something for the genie, but he had no idea what to give him. Perhaps something sweet, like him. He motioned to the bartender and looked at Fadil, before he ordered a cocktail by the name of 'Love-Love'. When it arrived, Noel handed it to the genie and nodded at him. "I hope you like it. You're free to talk about whatever you want, I'm not much of a talker." He chuckled.

Fadil looked at the drink as if inspecting it, before taking a sip. At first he drew back, his face scrunched up and twisted. As if he had a change of heart, Fadil took another sip, and looked at it with a satisfied look. The genie had only tasted wine during his long life, so tasting something as different as a cocktail! But, in the end Fadil liked it quiet a lot! "Thank you for the drink," Fadil said softly, looking down at his drink with a soft smile. "I've never had it before, but I actually really like it! My parents only let me drink wine, which I didn't really mind. Wine tastes good too, but I really like this. Maybe even more than wine." Fadil laughed lightly, before looking over at Noel. The genie was quiet for sometime, just looking at Noel with sympathetic eyes.

The genie cleared his throat, his finger tracing over the sides of his drink awkwardly. "Hey... so, I couldn't help but to notice how lonely you looked, before I came over here." Fadil said softly, talking softly and quietly close to Noel's ear so no one would hear around them. The genie could feel his heart beating in his chest, worry that Jake might become jealous filling him - but, Noel was their friend! If he looked so lonely, then it was a duty to cheer him up! "It get's better. It may not seem it, but I spent a great majority of my life alone, and well, now I know you and Jake. I think you deserve to have a bunch of girls hanging off of you like a bunch of lemurs, but they just don't know what their missing." Fadil whispered, trying to keep his words platonic as possible. "So, chin up!"

Fadil pulled away, and looked at his drink before sipping it. "With that said," Fadil got up from his seat, the look of guilt and fulfillment on his facial features. "I'm going to go find the bathroom. It was nice chatting with you!" The genie said in a cheerful tone, before turning on his heels, and walking away. He really didn't want Jake to get the wrong idea, so it was best to leave everything at that! Maybe he should just hide in the dressing room? Take a nap, or something... Maybe Jake didn't see anything?

After Fadil walked into the dressing room, he closed the door behind him and leaned against it. A soft sigh flew from his lips, before he sat down on the floor next to the door and hugged his knees.

Not too long after Fadil walked into the dressing room, a girl with tremendous beauty walked through the door. Her long black hair reached her hips, and her hazel eyes seemed to have a gleam of red. There was a sort of aura around her, that seemed mysterious or maybe even devious. Her hazel eyes looked around the room, before they landed on Noel. A little smirk twisted on her painted red lips, and or almost a mere second, her eyes flashed red. She walked towards her prey, spreading her lips into a pleasant, almost angelic smile. "Hi!" She said sweetly, "My name's Calypso..." Her eyes flashed over to Jake, before she grabbed Noel's shirt and kissed his softly on the lips. "Him, over there... Jake I think his name is. You seem pretty close to Fadil, so I guess you're the only one I can tell this to." Calypso paused, making herself convincingly cry. "He's beating Fadil. You're the only one that can help him... Fadil is so precious to me. He's my cousin, and... he's covered in bruises. Please... help him."

As Fadil sat in the dressing room, he couldn't help bet feel a deep pain in his rib cage, back, shoulder blade, and even his butt cheeks. It felt as if someone was punching him repeatedly. Out of worry, Fadil grabbed his shirt, and lifted it up to see his body growing random bruises. His eyes widened with horror, and his body began to tremble. "W-what's going on?" Fadil said to himself, covering his mouth with horror.

  • 2 weeks later...

Noel gasped as he heard the mysterious lady tell him this. He couldn't believe it. Surely, he knew better than to believe a stranger's words. But for some reason, he felt like she was telling the truth. She look like a kind lady, someone who'd want to help, rather than cause trouble or lie. "Thank you." Noel softly said, thanking the woman for being so kind to tell him this. He stood up and swiftly ran to Jake, pulling him by the hand and taking him outside the club immediately.

Surprisingly enough, Jake almost willingly went outside, only to slam Noel against the wall and laugh sadistically. "What, you think I didn't notice the way you were flirting with him? Why did you take me out, are you going to tell me you want to marry him or something?" He mockingly asked, feeling jealousy fill his bloodstream. Jake didn't give a damn about anyone at this point - he just wanted to literally murder the French for trying to claim Fadil for his own.

Noel coughed as he slowly pulled away from the wall he was just slammed on. "Surprisingly enough, no. I don't like Fadil on that level." He truthfully said. "I do, however, care dearly for him, and I can't help but notice how fearful he is of you."

"Him, fearful? You clearly haven't seen us together." Jake hissed back. "Fadil feels safe with me. He's happy with me. That's all there is to it."

"A little bird told me you've been beating him." Noel growled as he walked towards Jake, lighting a cigarette. "And his fearfulness of you proves it."

Jake's eyes widened. Who the hell would say something like that? Jake would never beat his little genie, not even if he were to cheat on him. "Your bird must've been high on some dope shit, because I would never hurt Fadil. Ask him, he'll tell you the same."

"Let's leave that for Fadil to confirm." Noel said, a moment before he pulled one last time from his cigarette and swiftly hacked it in Jake's right eye. He may lack physical strength to defeat Jake in a fight, but he was cunning and fast, fast enough to do something genius and dangerous like that, for instance, without giving his opponent time for a counter attack.

"Ah, fuck! Don't you dare touch him!" Jake yelled, hearing Noel's footsteps getting farther away. He hissed in pain as he pressed his eyes with both hands, blood and tears running down his cheek. Was he blinded permanently, was it just a flesh wound - time will tell. Speaking of time, Noel left the backyard of the club in no time and swiftly ran towards the dressing room, seeing how Fadil had went there after their conversation.

The man went in without asking or knocking, only to see his little friend shaking in horror. "Fadil, are you alright? I'm sorry I didn't notice earlier ... do you have a place to stay? You can come with me. Don't worry, Jake won't get mad at you." He assured, hoping the genie would trust him and go with him, instead of keep fearing Jake.

As soon as Noel ran into the dressing room, the snap of heels hitting on the pavement could be heard. The more the sound drew closer, the more it would change to the sound of normal male dressing shoes. "Does that hurt?" Abraxas mocked, a smirk playing on his lips, even though Jake couldn't see it at the moment. "Gee, I wonder who that little bird was, don't you? Oh wait," Abraxas threw head head back, and let out a thunderous laughter. "It was me! Of course, I was a woman while feeding Noel my little lie, but..." A satisfied sigh escaped his lips, "now you won't have Fadil. Of course you could go get him, but then I would have to kill Fadil in such a gruesome little way. Maybe I'll kill him, the same way he left his human body! You know, for some short lived nostalgia!" Abraxas looked over at Jake, enjoying the blood and tears dripping from his cheeks. He looked at the view for only a few moments, before he turned to walk away. Instead of the sound of dress shoes hitting the ground, it was now the heels that were heard when he entered. "Well," Abraxas said in an womans voice. "I have a few strings to pull!" Abraxas said joyfully, the sound of high heels soon fading away.

Fadil looked up at Noel in both fear and confusion. What did he mean? Fadil was in no way fearful of Jake... he loved him! What he was scared of, was the mysterious bruises that formed, and the punching feeling that stopped immediately after Noel walked in. Just as Fadil opened his mouth to speak, Abraxas flew through the door in the form of a woman, and dropped to the ground in front of Fadil. The hazel eyes that Noel saw just moments before turned a bright scarlet, and a small evil smirk spread across Abraxas' lips. The smirk was gone just as fast as it came, and it was instead replaced with tears. "Fadil!" Abraxas wailed, bringing Fadil into a tight hug, his lips against the genies ears. "Play along, or that man you supposedly love will be taken away from you. He will not only forget the imprint you left on him, but he will fall for another... and you will have no other choice but to watch him." Abaraxas whispered very softly, so Noel would be unable to hear.

Abraxas pulled away, the female hands he wore quickly grabbing the genies shirt and pulling it up to reveal the dark bruises that consumed his chest and stomach. "Noel, look what the monster has done to him!" Abraxas stood up, and took Noel's hand. "Please, even if Fadil kicks and screams, keep him safe! Jake can't be near him... look at the damage he's done to him..." Abraxas looked over at the cowering genie, who looked at the ground. It may have been selfish, but Fadil didn't want to see Jake with anyone else... He loved him too much. But, he didn't want to go with Noel either - but Fadil had a sneaky suspicion running away was exactly what Abraxas wanted.

"I would take him, but I'm couch surfing at the moment," Abraxas lied, his face falling. "Promise me Noel, that you will do anything to keep that... that demon away from my perfect little angel..." Abraxas flashed Noel a sad puppy dog face, that seemed to fit perfectly on the female features he wore.

Noel nodded. He would make sure that Fadil was safe from Jake's aggressive personality and tight grip. He was going to protect the genie no matter what. He had no idea what was going on, he believed everything. Especially the wounds on Fadil's body. Noel couldn't ignore those. The moment he saw them, he realized that Jake really was nothing but a monster. Who would even hurt someone as innocent and gentle as Fadil?

"It's alright, he can come to my place." Noel said, smiling as he held Fadil and hugged the small boy in his arms, pressing his head against his own chest. Noel's heart was beating fast, worried and confused, and he wanted nothing more but to take Fadil and bring him home, where he would be safe and happy. And that was going to happen right now.

The man took Fadil in his arms and left the dressing room. He excused himself and exited the club, taking a taxi to go to the apartment he lived in. He was going to take Fadil there and examine his wounds, maybe even clean them, if the genie lets him.

Once they arrived, Noel brought Fadil inside his apartment, which looked pretty cozy. He hoped the boy liked this new setting, because he would probably spend a few days here until Jake calms down and tells him why he beat up Fadil like this. Noel guided the boy to sit on the couch and went to take the first aid kit. He doubted Fadil would let him clean his wounds or even lay a finger on him, since he was probably really shocked right now as well, but he had to try and persuade him.

"Would you like me to examine and clean your wounds? You look like you're in a lot of pain." Noel said, looking at the genie with kind eyes and a warm, worried smile.

Meanwhile, back in the club, a mysterious man entered the dressing room. Jake was too busy being taken to the hospital, because his eye was in a bad shape. God knows whether it was going to recover or not. It looked bad, puss leaking out as he pressed it with the back of his palm. Well, Noel did burn his eyeball with a cigarette.

"You broke your promise." The mysterious man said, looking at Abraxas, who was disguised as a woman. As for the stranger, he was tall and slightly muscular, with long black hair and red eyes, hidden behind a carnival mask. "You commit one of the Seven Deadly Sins. For that, you shall not be forgiven. You are now under my surveillance. Commit six more in my watch, and I assure you, punishment shall be swift and painful. Commit the same mistakes my brother did, and suffer the consequences." The man spoke, a dreadful voice coming out of that creepy carnival mask. He looked at Abraxas and pointed at him, his blood red eyes staring straight at the others.

The man stood quiet for a moment, just pointing silently at Abraxas, before he spoke once more. "Mark my words. A fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth, if thou commits any more sins." With that, the man turned his back on Abraxas and walked away, his long, black hair reaching the ground and dragging behind him. As soon as the man exited the room, he vanished into thin air, never to be seen again.

While Fadil and Noel sat in the taxi, he didn't say a single word. Instead, he looked outside, his magenta eyes staring blanklessly at the passing structures and people. His heart ached and screamed for Jake, and because he wasn't there made his heart wither with pain. Jake is a good man, Fadil thought, biting his lip to hold back tears. Can't Noel see this is all a lie? For the first time in minuets, Fadil looked over at Noel. Fadil knew that Noel was only trying to help and he didn't know anything about the situation Jake and the genie was in - but he really wanted to hit Noel.

When the two made their way into Noel's apartment, Fadil looked around, but sense it wasn't the home he shared with Jake, the genie didn't care. He sat down on the couch, bringing his knees to his chest for comfort. He looked down at the ground, his nose buried between his knees - the pants he wore smelt of home. "No," Fadil said in response to his question, his eyes flashing to the cute expression on Noel's face. It really wasn't his fault he got caught up in this, but selfishly, Fadil wanted to be mad at him. "They're just a few bruises..." Fadil mumbled, hiding his face from Noel completely.

Fadil wanted to tell Noel what was really going on. He wanted to tell him about his deal with Abraxas, that he was a genie, and how Jake didn't lay a single harmful finger on Fadil! But, if he said anything, Jake would forget him and even fall for another. Maybe... maybe Jake would be happier? Fadil thought to himself, I should just tell Noel... the genie peeked out from the tops of his knees, his mouth opening. "Hey..." Fadil began, "this... this is all..." The white haired male swallowed a lump in his throat, every word heavier than the next. Just tell him! Jake will be a lot happier if I just told Noel everything! Fadil thought over and over again, his thoughts beginning to sound like a broken record. Fadil lifted his face away from his knees so Noel had a good look at just how heartbroken he looked.

Fadil looked at Noel directly, which made the smaller male get to thinking about watching Jake grow old with another person. Fadil would be forced to watch Jake do all those small little things that were only meant for the genies ears and eyes. he would be forced to listen to Jake tell someone how much he loved them, how much he cared; he would be forced to watch Jake an the person bake a cake, and almost burn it because they were wrapped into each others arms. Fadil knew he was selfish... but, Fadil just couldn't watch that. "This is all... so... so nice..." Fadil said, his voice cracked. "This... this is such a nice place..."

~

Abraxas watched the man disappear, his eye brow peaking with interest. Well, things just got interesting... the demon thought, taking one last look at the wounded Jake, before disappearing himself.

Noel smiled when he heard Fadil. He was glad the boy liked his home, because he was going to stay here for a while. He didn't like the sharp, cold 'no' he got earlier, but he was going to oblige. If Fadil didn't want to be touched, then Noel was going to comply and keep his distance from the boy.

After all, he could see that Fadil was more shocked than anyone in this situation, and he figured he owed the boy some private space. "Would you like me to make some hot cocoa, then? I'm sure you would like that." He said, hoping the answer to this question would be positive. He could understand that the genie was very devastated, but he wanted him to be able to go on and at least snap out of his sadness. A sweet cup of hot cocoa would certainly do the trick, right?

Meanwhile, Jake was already in the ER, getting his eye 'fixed'. Unfortunately, it didn't ... survive. His cornea was pretty burned up. Noel had managed to actually burn his eyeball, not just the eyelid. In fact, the lid was pretty much fine, it was the eye that was injured. Jake hissed in pain as they bandaged his eye. He couldn't see well with it, he could see just with his left eye.

"I'm sorry to say this, but I'm afraid you won't be able to see too well with your right eye anymore. Or what's left of it, for that matter." The doctor at the ER said, sighing as he patted Jake on the shoulder. He didn't like seeing men as young as this one becoming handicapped already, but at least he still had his left eye. The lad should keep and treasure it dearly, lest he wanted to go completely blind.

"What are you talking about, I still have my eye." Jake frowned. He couldn't believe the news himself. What did the doctor mean by not able to see? He was sure he could see perfectly fine, it was just all swollen and stuff, right?

"You do, yes. You have most of the iris and the pupil, as well as the sclerae. It's just that it's

. Melted, if you don't mind a more accurate description. Your pupil has 'leaked' downwards, your cornea is mostly destroyed, and I'm afraid I can't do anything to help. You can try to visit a surgeon, but I don't know if he can do much. At this point, your pupil is too deformed. You might still be able to see with your right eye, but the image will be very smudged and warped."

Jake sighed, rubbing his head. That's great. Thanks, Noel. "Alright. Thank you." He said as he stood up and paid the doctor for the work before he left the ER with instruction on how to keep his eye safe until the skin around it recovers, and how he can cover it so he wouldn't have to use it to see. After all, with an eye like that, it was better to just use the left one, instead of use both and see a mixed, smudge-HD picture.

He stepped outside of the hospital and took out his phone, deciding to dial Fadil. He wanted to check on his lover, and didn't give a damn about Abraxas' threats. If the guy wanted to murder Fadil, he would've done it a long time ago. "Hey, genie, you there? Where are you, are you still at the bar? I wanna go home." He said on the phone. He wanted to go home with Fadil and just forget about this night. "Let's meet up somewhere and then go home together. I'm tired."

Fadil nodded at Noel, "yes please." The genie said, bringing his knees even closer to his chest. If there was one thing Jake gave Fadil he fell in love with food wise, it was chocolate. He never knew that he would enjoy just a simple thing, but it tasted so amazing on his taste buds! "I... I don't think I've even had hot choco..." Fadil was cut short, when he felt the phone vibrate in his back pocket. Letting out a yelp, Fadil jolted up and grabbed it out of his pocket. On the caller ID it read Jake - excitment coursed through his veins. "I... I'm sorry... I need to um... get this. It's a friend." Fadil only half lied, a sweet smile crossing his lips.

Fadil hurried off to a random room, and closed the door before inspecting the phone. "Slide to answer..." Fadil read quickly out loud, "do I..." the genie pressed a finger against the green phone symbol, and slid it in the direction it told him to, before pressing it against his ear. It felt really good to hear Jake's voice. It soothed him, and filled the genie up with a gentle warmth. "Jake..." Fadil breathed out, "I... I'm not at the bar anymore... I'm at..." Fadil cut himself short, avoiding the question. "Oh Jake... you shouldn't be calling me. Abraxas... he told Noel you've been beating me, and... if... I shouldn't even be talking to you. You'll forget me, and... I... I don't want to watch you fall in love with someone else." Fadil's voice dropped, as he leaned against the wall.

Letting out a sad sigh, Fadil began to speak again. "I want to see you, but I can't... I can't loose you..." The genie whispered in a weak voice. In a desperation not to cry, Fadil quickly changed the subject, "How... how are you doing?" The genie asked, the temptation to hang up being over taken by the need to hear his lovers voice. He slid down the wall, the phone still pressed against his ear, with his knees against his chest. It wasn't that he didn't like it at Noel's house, he did - but home was where Jake was, not Noel.

Noel silently stared Fadil, his eyes following the boy until he left the room and went to talk on the phone. He figured he was telling the truth, that is was just a friend calling him, and not Jake, for instance. Besides, if Fadil was being called by Jake, the boy probably wouldn't pick up. After all, he was beaten up by that guy, why the hell would he want to talk to him?

The black haired French decided to go and make Fadil some hot chocolate. The boy looked pretty shaken up right now, but Noel noticed the shimmer in his eyes once he mentioned chocolate. Perhaps he really liked chocolate. Then again, who doesn't like chocolate? It's sweet and tasty and it's made of cocoa and milk. Anything that has to do with chocolate is likeable. Now only if we could marry chocolate ...

Jake sighed on the phone. He was so happy to hear Fadil's voice. He needed that right now. His eye was stinging and pulsing, and he was feeling really down. He just wanted to hug his sweet genie and hold him while he sleeps. "I'm fine. I just finished work." He lied, knowing that telling Fadil the truth would ultimately lead to a bunch of very worried questions, some hatred towards Noel and an overall distress. Right now, he didn't want to make Fadil anxious or concerned.

"Abraxas told me, by the way. He was eager to come and reveal his plan to me. Fucking asshole." Jake huffed, spitting on the ground in disgust. Simply saying that man's name made his saliva taste all bitter and nasty. He wanted to throw up just from seeing that man. Real or not, Abraxas made Jake really scared. Even if he wasn't showing it, he was extremely worried about Fadil, and was shaking in fear from something happening to him because of that freak Abraxas. "Anyway, it's going to be fine. We'll deal with this somehow. I'd love to come and get you, but I don't know where you are and Abraxas did say he would murder you if I try to get you back." He mumbled. He didn't want to say it, but he was actually going to listen to Abraxas this time. If he wanted Fadil alive, he had to oblige. That didn't mean he was going to give up, though.

"Listen up, babe. We'll keep in touch. I'll send you messages or call you, whichever is more convenient. For now, just stay where you are and try to relax, alright? We're together in this. Just because we're not in the same room right now doesn't mean I'm not by your side. Don't worry about a thing." Jake softly said, smiling. Even if it couldn't be seen, his smile could definitely be heard through his words.

"Dear, the hot cocoa is ready." Noel called from afar. He didn't want to interfere with Fadil's conversation or eavesdrop on him, so he figured just calling him from the other room would suffice. Plus, it was a little convenient, since Jake wouldn't be able to hear or distinguish the voice when it was that far away.

It filled Fadil with fury at the thought of Abraxas speaking to Jake. His stomach began to curl up, his canine teethe gnawing at his lower lip, and his fingers tapped on the hardback of the phone - all signs of anger for the genie. Couldn't that monster keep in touch with just Fadil? Jake was indeed apart of Abraxas' sick games, but couldn't he at least respect the genie for all his unwavering loyalty over the years? Just when Fadil was about to open his mouth to yell about Abraxas' Jake began to speak. Feeling his lovers smile over the phone seemed to calm Fadil, and put him in this state that seemed only drugs could achieve. We're together in this... was Fadil's favorite part. Something about those simple words was everything the genie needed to hear.

When Noel called to tell Fadil the hot coco was finished, he almost about dropped his phone out of surprise. He wrapped a blanket made out of Jake's words, and nothing in the world mattered - not the hot chocolate, not Noel, not even Abraxas. Fadil turned his head, his lips grazing over the wood of the door. "Okay! I'll be there soon, thank you!" Fadil yelled, a little frown forming on his lips. Just like Jake's smile, he just knew it could leak through the speaker of the phone. "Jake... I love you." Fadil said softly, his fingers lightly running across the love bite Jake made on his neck. "I wish... I wish things were different, and I wasn't a genie. That way we could just love each other, and have normal couple problems!" Fadil paused, a soft sigh exiting his lips. "Sometimes, I like to imagine I was a client at your job, and we just happened to fall in love. It's silly, but it makes me happy to think about it sometimes." A little smile crossed his lips, his eyes watering. "I'm sorry Jake. I'm sorry I got you into this mess. But hey, at least... at least we have each other, even when we're without." The genie said, looking over to his side as if he was actually next to Jake.

"I... I should go. Do that word thing! I see it on TV all the time. Instead of actually talking they send it to each other like some sort of weird fast letter! You probably know what it's called, so what am I doing?" The man said, laughing lightly. "I... I love you, Jake!" Fadil hung up immediately after he stopped talking because he didn't know the proper phone protocol, and he could felt as if his heart strings would snap and his heart would dissolve in his stomach acid. Getting up, Fadil stuffed his phone in his pocket and walked into the living room. "Thank you, Noel..." Fadil said softly, grabbing the cup of hot chocolate. "Thank you for not coming in, and stuff... I needed that time with the friend..."

Fadil looked down at the hot drink, before he looked up at Noel with a sort of sweetness in his eyes. "You're a great guy... I'm sorry you got into this... this mess. But, it really isn't as bad as it seems..." Fadil said, playing with the cup. Maybe he could tell Noel the situation, without actually telling him? It was worth a shot!

Jake listened to his genie, holding the phone tightly to his ear. He could fall asleep listening to this boy's voice, and for a moment, he wished he could just lie on that street bench beside him and sleep here. Unfortunately, it looked like it was going to rain, and a sleep under the rain wasn't the best idea Jake's ever had. His heart clenched when he heard Fadil's love confession, and he immediately licked his lips to reply, "I love you, too". His reply was so fast that he nearly spoke over Fadil's next words, which were explaining the boy's odd fantasy of a parallel universe, where they would meet in a different way and be a normal couple, as he said it.

"I don't care what mess you get me into, as long as we're together." Jake said, holding the phone in his hand firmly. "Don't ever think you're bothering me, dear. You mean the world to me." Jake softly said. He was never so romantic, so emotional and so caring to anyone, he just wasn't known to be like that. But now, the blond man was being extremely kind and pretty lovable. It proved how much the man loved Fadil, and how much of that love he had been trying to conceal, in fears of not seeming 'manly' enough.

He blinked confusedly when Fadil told him about that weird fast letter, but he figured the boy was probably talking about messages. He chuckled along his little genie, and was about to say goodbye when Fadil hung up. Jake looked at his phone in surprise and shook his head with a smile, deciding to go home. He missed his petite lover so much right now. He would do everything to hold and kiss him ... But, everything with its time. He would think of a way to get to Fadil tomorrow. For now, he would have to go home and rest. If he could only talk to Abraxas ... ask him for something to give in exchange of Fadil. Jake was still supposed to have sex with Abraxas, so if the man wanted that, he would gladly do it. Hell, he would even blow him. He would do the dirty trumpet. He would even give his ass to Abraxas for one night, if that's what the God of Genies wanted in exchange of Fadil.

Noel smiled, nodding as he saw the sweetness in Fadil's eyes. That boy was so precious to him. He was like a little brother to him, and he felt like he had to protect him at all costs. "I'm glad, Fadil. I was worried that it might be too late and that I intervened in the worst moment possible, but I'm happy not everything is completely lost." He said, sitting on the armchair beside the couch Fadil was sitting on. Noel was holding a cup of tea in his hands, and was drinking peacefully, not really saying anything else. If Fadil wanted to talk, perhaps now would be the time!

Fadil sipped on the hot chocolate, enjoying the feeling of the sweet hot coco doing the tango on his taste buds. He looked at Noel as he spoke, his heart gradually breaking to the point of it being dust. "Noel..." Fadil softly said, setting his cup down and facing the French man. "You're a great friend, and I really admire your heart. It's hard to find someone that would take in someone he's only met once before, into his home..." The genie laughed lightly, resting his head on the backrest of the couch. He looked at Noel as if he was trying to study him like a book.

"With that said," Fadil paused, looking down at the ground as if figuring out what he wanted to say. He wanted to find the extact right words. After, what seemed like, a few long minuets with his eyes glued or the carpet, Fadil finally spoke. "What if... you trust too easily?" Fadil asked, before he quickly added, "you can trust me, but that woman that came in today..." The genie quickly looked at Noel with hope coursing through his veins. He hoped Noel would catch on, because all Fadil wanted was to be with Jake. Those sweet words Jake said in the phone just made it even harder to be away from him! Fadil wanted to streal his lips in a kiss, as a gesture of affection and appreciation.

Abraxas watched Jake talk to Fadil on the phone, his arms crossed. That masked man that visited him made him a bit wary of continuing on with his game - but it was a deal he made with both Fadil and Jake. As the phone call dragged on, Abraxas could feel the lunch he ate previously begging to be let out. He would tell the to get a room, but they weren't even in the same place e to begin with.

When the phone call was over, Abraxas walked over to Jake in his normal form. "Such a touching coversation with the genie." The demon said with a hint of laughter in his voice. "'You mean the world to me!'" Abraxas imitated in a mocking voice. "Seriously, I almost lost my dinner just hearing the two of you. It's too bad Fadil is all loving on Noel, when he's not speaking to you. You're being played, and you don't even know."

Noel raised his eyebrows in curiosity. That woman? Wasn't that woman someone Fadil knew? Surely, he should know what her name was. Speaking in such manners of someone dear to you was weird, unless she was nothing but a stranger to Fadil. "I suppose I do, yes. That lady seemed quite sincere, though. Not to mention she was right about the domestic abuse." Noel calmly said, drinking his tea. He trusted Fadil, of course, but he doubted the boy would've told him that himself.

If it weren't for that kind lady, Noel would never find out about the type of aggression that had been practiced on Fadil. He felt a little bad for hurting Jake, but at the same time, the man deserved it. "Are you implying I shouldn't have trusted her, little one? I think you wouldn't have told me yourself, so I'm glad that friend of yours informed me in time. I think she did a good thing, you should thank her later." Noel smiled as he said that. He had no idea what was happening right now, he just thought this lady was a very close person to Fadil, and the boy didn't want her to tell Noel about his injuries because he didn't want to bother him or something similar.

Jake looked at Abraxas and touched his own pockets, looking for something. When he didn't find anything, he sighed. "Damn, I can't find any fucks to give. Must've left them at home." He said and rolled his eyes, walking home with an agonized expression and wobbly feet. His vision was dizzy, so he didn't really know where he was stepping. He was tired and in great pain because of his right eye. "You know, I'm not really jealous. Noel is no threat for me." He calmly said. Noel was so easy to beat, so delightfully pleasant to violate and destroy, that Jake was actually a little happy that Fadil was with him. That meant the man could get some revenge for what happened with his eye the moment he gets to retrieve the genie from him.

Getting inside his house, Jake undressed and lied on his couch, utterly exhausted. He didn't even mind Abraxas' presence. In fact, he would feel a little lonely if he was all alone in the house. "You know, it makes me wonder. Have you never been in love? Like, have you never wanted someone to fuck you in the tight ass? Aside from me, that is." He grinned. They still had that deal. Jake was supposed to rape Abraxas sooner or later. It was inevitable. Although, seeing the sadistic freak Abraxas was, he might as well like it. If he had a masochistic trait as well, he would definitely enjoy it, in fact.

Fadil took another sip of hot chocolate, and key the cup sit in his hands. Running his thumb across the cup, Fadil stared into the brown depths of the hot drink in silence. "I..." Fadil began, before he paused. "What if... the woman..." Fadil started to say, his expression troubled. A sigh slipped through his lips before he got up. "Nevermind..." Fadil said softly, his heart aching and screaming for Jake. If only his heart could speak, because if it was able to it would tell Noel everything! But, he had to play along.

"It's complicated," the smaller male said, gnawing at his inner cheek.

After a few seconds, Fadil chugged the hot chocolate down. "Where's the kitchen?" Fadil asked to change the subject, while he held up the empty cup. "I don't want to dirty the place. It's so nice!" Fadil shot Noel a sweet smile, even though a smile wasn't fitting towards his mood. He was angry, heart broken, and home sick; of anything he should be frowning, or maybe even crying. "O-oh. Also, where can I sleep? I'm getting a tad bit tired."

Abraxas' expression went grim at the question, the answer screaming on his face - he was once in love. The demon sat down on the couch and leaned forward, his hand grabbing his neck as if he grew uncomfortable. For once in God knows how long, Abraxas didn't look mischievous or even evil - he looked human. Even though his red eyes were anything but human, there was so mucha in and loss in them. The demon kept quiet for quite some time, before he verbally answered his question. "I was once in love." Abraxas gave Jake a sideways glance, before turning to face him with his hands clasped together.

"He was a genie, in fact. He was a Greek thief who did unspeakable crimes against both men and women. But just like your precious Fadil, he ended up feeling a tremendous amount of guilt." The way Abraxas spike was so civil. It was as if the two were great friends for years, that decided to get I to a meaningful conversation. "He was so sweet, and even though I was like his warden he treated me with such kindness, such... love..." Abraxas hung his head, before he got up. "But he died. I killed him. You know why? Because he was a genie that got too close with someone he worked for." Abraxas looked at Jake, as if what he was going to say was important. "So yes, I have loved you, incompetent slime. You know, it gets you no where in life. In the end Fadil is just a genie that works for you, and trust me this will result in killing him. If you think I'm such a bad guy, you should meet my boss, human." The demon glared at Jake, shaking in anger. "I hope Fadil becomes repulsed by your disfigured eye, and runs off with someone else." Abraxas cursed, before vanishing into thin air.

Noel looked at Fadil in confusion, unsure what the boy was trying to tell him. Perhaps he was just mad at the lady for spilling the beans, since he probably didn't want anyone else to know of the abuse Jake practiced on him. Yes, that sounded just about right. Noel didn't know what else could be the reason of Fadil's tension. In any case, what's done is done. He was just glad the genie was alright.

"Ah, of course. You may sleep in my bedroom, I'll sleep on the couch." Noel said. He was as kind as he seemed, hardly looking like the guy who destroyed Jake's right eye. Still, it happened, and it was a matter of time before Fadil finds out. How would he react when he hears that Noel did such a horrible thing? Of course, the man didn't want to completely handicap Jake, but he might have lost himself in anger for a moment, which resulted in the man's right eye becoming nearly useless.

Well, at least they didn't have to take it out. It was better to have an eye, than to have just a hole in its place, right?

Meanwhile, Jake just shrugged and lied on the couch, covering himself with some blanket. He wasn't really offended by Abraxas. In fact, he hoped the man's curse is fulfilled. Surely, Fadil wouldn't want to be with some handicapped man. Noel was better in this case. Before, Noel didn't have anything that Jake couldn't give to Fadil, but now Noel had two perfectly seeing eyes, while Jake was down to one good eye, and one disfigured eyeball with a leaked downwards pupil, and hazy vision. Let's not forget the blood filling the white of the eye, which was going to disappear in a few days, but made the sight even more horrifying now.

"Ugh, I'm so lame." Jake quietly mumbled to himself and closed his eyes. He was so tired right now. It didn't took him long before he fell asleep, but it was the worst night ever, not being able to sleep by Fadil's side. It made his sleep very unsatisfying, full of waking up at random times of the night and fucked up nightmares caused by the pain in his right eye. He had no idea how they were going to get out of this mess now.

Fadil nodded, and began to walk away from Noel without a word. He didn't know where Noel's room even was, but Fadil didn't want to look at the man at the moment, out of fear that he might spill his secrets to him. If Fadil was feeling himself, he would have denied the bed and just sleep on the couch, but the genie could really care less at the moment... even if just sleeping on the couch would be faster than looking through every door he saw.

It felt a lot longer to find the room, than it actually took. To Fadil it felt like it took half an hour, but in reality it only took about three minuets to locate the room. As soon as he saw the bed, Fadil jumped into it as if it was a life long dream. It felt lonely not having Jake's arms around him, or even hearing the sound if his breathe while he slept. It broke the genies heart to be so far away from him. He hoped he was okay, ajd Abraxas was at least being fair to him. Fadil hoped he was using this time to relax, and do things that he usually wouldn't do around the genie - but Fadil just knew in his heart that was something he wasn't doing.

Grabbing the nearest pillow, Fadil grabbing a nearby pillow and hugged it. His nose rubbed against it, his eyes closed. It was a lot harder to fall asleep, without the arms he grew so used to back home. Home... It was funny how many things have changed since he met Laurence. His lamp used to be what he classified as a home, but instead it became wherever Jake went; instead of thinking about the crimes he made as a human, he was now thinking about his future with Jake. The thought made Fadil want to both cry and smile.

Abraxas was still in the house, but he was blended into the shadows. "That... that asshole..." Abraxas Saud through clenched teeth. Abraxas made sure that Jake wouldn't hear him. It was as if he was a ghost. Abraxas watched the other attempt to sleep, feeling pity and anger for the other man. Didn't he know this relationship would only burn into ashes? "Stupid human..." Abraxas whispered, willing away the urge to hurt him in a terrible way, but then he was handicapped now.

It filled Abraxas up with a sift of excitement to see what Fadil would do if he saw him. Would the genie turn on his heels and walk away? Hurt Noel? The possibilitis were endless.

Noel softly sighed, seeing how Fadil just agreed and left. He expected some protest from him, at least to the point of politeness or something, but Fadil simply nodded and walked away. Well, it was good that he didn't argue, since Noel wasn't going to accept it if the boy had wanted to sleep on the couch, but it still came off as rude to see his guest so nonchalantly leave, without even thanking him for the hospitality.

'He's pretty shaken up, it is to be expected.' Noel thought as he sat on his couch and sighed. There was no point in sleeping now, since he had some dishes to wash and a book to read. He stood up again and went to wash the dishes, then he took his book and read a few pages, until it was late enough for him to sleep. His boss might be a little angry for excusing himself from the club, but there weren't any clients anyway. It was Jake who was in trouble right now.

Speaking of him, Jake had fallen asleep, but he wasn't alone in the house. And it wasn't just Abraxas hanging around, it was someone else.

A strangely familiar figure was hovering over Jake. Long, raven black hair and beautiful red eyes, with luscious and thick lashes. It was a tall man, muscular and handsome, but half of his body was missing. Yet he looked like he was sitting on an invisible chair in the air, watching Jake sleep from above, just staring at him and sighing. So much sadness could be seen in his eyes, so much pain. As if this man was carrying the burden of everyone's sins on his shoulders, and no one was doing to make it easier on him.

"Sleep well, child. Tomorrow will be a long day." The man said, a low and husky voice present. He gently waved his hand above Jake's face, and his agonized expression softened, resulting in a better sleep quality. The mysterious stranger smiled and kept watching him for a few moments, until he noticed Abraxas' presence. He looked straight at him, his eyes empty, as if he had neither hate, nor pity for that being. With those pretty eyes that seemed to lose all glimmer and compassion when pointed towards Abraxas, the man looked at Jake once more, and kindness radiated from him. Who was that man?
