"Hmm? Elder you wanted to see me for something?" The midnight-haired amethyst-eyed boy asked as he entered a room that seemed to be nothing short of ordinary. It was a simple room with a couch and chairs about the floor. Not exactly the most well lit situation either. But in spite of that it was calming how dim it should seem.

 

"Yes Ken, I want you to go into the human world with one of your friends and investigate the strange happenings I've been seeing." The elder didn't sound old. But she was up in years.

 

 

"Yes elder. I know who to take too." Ken seemed serious and then he bowed and walked out. 'But why would the elder trust me with this? Surely a full elf would have been better...' Ken seemed wrapped up in his thoughts as he ran into his dear friend.

Kheelan was marching through the Elder's home, since he heard his friend was there, and he wanted to have a drink. Seriously wanted to have a drink, to be honest... The blond may not look like a drinker, but he sure liked an occasional glass (or a few) of beer; especially the one with berry flavors. It sounded weird, but... To him it was absolutely delicious!

 

Luck or not, Ken was just exiting the Elder's room while Kheelan was passing by. That caused Ken to bump into the fairy who, thanks to the good reflexes, caught him immediately. He flashed the other a wide grin and ruffled up his hair. "So, what did she say? Can you tell me or is it some big secret?" The fairy questioned while already dragging the half-elf off. "We're going to a bar, I need a drink." He announced with a smile on his face, holding the other's hand carefreely. The fairy didn't give a shit when people thought he was gay - which he wasn't. He was pan, it wasn't the same!

Ken just looked up at Kheelan and just stood there dumbfounded. "The elder asked me to look into things that are going on with the humans. And I'd like you to come with..." His tone was quiet compared to his friend's and he needed to investigate quickly. "W-wait! I need my thiiiiiiings!" But his cries fell on deaf ears as he was dragged along by his fairy friend.

"Yeah, yeah, humans can wait, you'll get your things later." Kheelan said merrily, grinning at his friend. "Come on, we haven't been there in too long!" The fairy whined, wrapping his arm around the other's waist. "Or are you embarrassed to be around me?" He teased with a wide grin, oblivious to the looks they were getting. Actually, he didn't care about them, he never did and he never will. That was just how he was!

"Well, this evil won't wait while we just sit around having a 'good time' you know." Ken seemed to glare at Kheelan but it quickly faded for a shocked blush. "I-it's not that! I just think we need priorities... You know?" He tried to break free of the grip. Ken always hated it when Kheelan did that.

Kheelan grinned and shook his head. "Don't care~" He sang out, only tightening his grip on the other's waist. "Come on, it's too late to leave anyway... Let's have a few drinks and go tomorrow morning. Sound good?" He asked with puppy eyes. The fairy really looked like he wanted that, but his puppy eyes were something almost no one could resist.

Ken simply sighed and his blush certainly didn't let up in the slightest. "Fine. And could you take your arms from off around my waist!? You know I hate it when you do that..." He offered as a kind of mutterance afterward. "And you should start caring about priorities! I won't always be there for you you know..." He kind of looked away and added glumly after his initial outburst.

Kheelan grinned and shook his head. "That's not happening." He chuckled with a wide smile on his face and only pulled his friend closer. "Are you so scared someone will think you're my boyfriend? That wouldn't be so bad~" There was such bold, obvious self-confidence coming from the fairy, it was almost annoying. In fact, it was annoying to a lot of people... "Priorities don't mean shit to me. That's just something people made up to make life boring!" The fairy whined, nearing to his favorite bar. "Though for now, I guess my priority is to have a nice drink."

Ken shook his head defeatedly and looked down. His glasses tilting off his eyes slightly. "That's not what I meant. I just hate it when you do that for... Other reasons." Because in truth: Ken wished he had Kheelan's confidence. It would have been nice. "Dammit Kheelan! You need to start caring about these things you know!" And then another defeated sigh escaped his mouth as his hair bounced with his shaking head. "Fine. But we investigate right after this."

Kheelan raised a brow, curiosity clear on his face. "Other reasons? What reasons?" He questioned, staring at his friend with somewhat impatient eyes. A loud groan left his mouth when the half-elf began nagging about the priorities again. "Not happening!" He pouted before pushing Ken into the bar. "And I said we'd go tomorrow morning. You know you'll have a hangover." The fairy said with a wide smile, dragging the younger off to get their first drinks.

Ken rolled his eyes and looked his dear friend in the eyes. "You know why. At least I'm sure you do." And then he looked away and then back up as the hit the bar. "Ugh... I can't believe I let you talk me into this... Ah, the joys of being so carefree..." He then had no choice as he walked up to the bar and ordered. At least something light that wouldn't totally knock him on his ass after one sip.

Kheelan blinked, frowned and and shook his head. "I have no idea." He answered honestly, his eyes like ones of a puppy as he stared at his friend, waiting for an explanation. The fairy walked along with the other, ordering some raspberry beer for the start. "Cheers!" He grinned and held up his beer, somewhat childish happiness in his eyes. That was the thing about fairies - they were annoying, childish, always honest and adored having lots of friends.

"It's well... I can't tell you yet. I'm not exactly sure how you'd react. Anyway..." He looked at the puppy eyes and tried not to confess his feelings. But he had to resist with all of him. "Cheers." Ken let the word fall out half hearted and he took a sip from it. "Anyway, we need to focus. No going crazy tonight." The thing with elves is that they are more driven and focused than others and it may seem boring but they needed to. Who else would?

Kheelan pouted, his eyes showing honest sadness. "Meanie..." He mumbled softly before beginning to chug down the beer. After all, what other way was there to drink? "Crazy? But I always go crazy!" One beer was all it took for Kheelan to loosen up. He'd be in no condition to go searching for something tonight or tomorrow morning... He loved alcohol, yet he wasn't the best at handling it.

Ken sighed and looked at him. "If you get hammered I'll tell you." And then he added a side though quickly: 'As if you'd even remember what I told you. I love you.' And then he noticed that the Fairy was already slightly drunk. "My god you're dense. Just call it at three. That's three BEERS my good man." And Ken proceeded to sip his drink. Nothing too heavy. But not exactly light either. It was mostly Sprite with pink lemonade and GreyGoose. ((Because that's totally light. OL.)) And he sipped and sipped until it was gone. And he felt pretty good after the first. He thought it was a good idea to order a second. And a drunk Ken was certainly more fun than a sober one!

Kheelan grinned dumbly at the confession, nudging the other's side with his elbow. "I knew you weren't straight!" He snickered, looking around with a small grin on his face. It was gone as soon as Ken insisted on only three beers, however. "Nu-uh. I'll drink as much as I want." He pouted and ordered another beer, looking at the other with somewhat sad eyes. "Why did you tell me you loved me?" He asked, his lips staying parted. "If you wanted to have sex, you could've asked..." Slowly, everything Kheelan said stopped making sense.

"I didn't mean to! I thought you would have been stupid drunk and unable to remember when I confessed!" Ken blushed hard and then went to go leave. "Just make sure that you're up and ready tomorrow. And I never would have wanted you for sex anyway. I want you for... You." And with that the half-elf ran out almost sobbing. Everything around him came crashing down and he needed to escape and fast.

Kheelan was a little bit too slow to fully understand what happened, but suddenly the other was gone and he was left alone. A loud groan left his mouth as the fairy put down the money needed and ran after his friend. Finally finding him, the blond bluntly grabbed him and pulled him close. "Why the hell did you run off?" He mumbled with a pout. There, that familiar head throb was making itself known... He wouldn't remember this tomorrow anyway.

Ken sighed and shook his head. "You should know why you big dummy. I confessed and then you made it a joke... I don't think I can be around you right now. Please just leave me alone for tonight Kheelan." He turned and continued to walk away and towards his own home. Ah, home, something he hadn't seen for quite some time. And a hush fell over his mind. He turned around and then went to the curb of the street and sat down. "Maybe I was too hard on him... I should sleep here tonight..."

Kheelan was more pissed than upset when Ken just walked off and left him. The fairy stormed back into the bar, ending up getting himself completely drunk. Somehow he also got into a threesome with a nymph and a dragon... God, that Dragon sure could fuck. The fairy was pretty satisfied with his hips aching when he somehow got home and went straight to bed. The cum in his ass didn't matter, the taste of beer and semen in his mouth wasn't important as he drifted off. Needless to say, he was not ready in the morning.

Ken lay on the sidewalk; not caring if people thought he was homeless or not. Sleep did not come easily for him so he thought to walk back to the bar only to see Kheelan leaving with a nymph and a dragon. Ken then thought that his feelings didn't matter to his best friend and ran off to his own home where he always had a stash of heavy alcohol for such emergencies and he downed it all. Not caring as he cried himself to sleep that night. Yep, he'll be ready in the morning for sure!

Kheelan didn't wake until midday. When he did, the fairy was greeted by a headache, sore hips and a bad taste in his mouth. Being a fairy, though, his hangover didn't last for long and in an hour he was ready to go. The blond decided to check on his friend, barely remembering their fight yesterday. He wasn't really the best in remembering things in general, so what was there to expect when he was drunk?

 

Kheelan stood in front of the other's house and knocked, holding a small bag of clothes and all; for the journey.

Ken actually was still sleeping. And so soundly that he didn't even hear his dear friend knock, ready for them to begin their journey. To be fair he downed a whole bottle of GreyGoose last night. And he didn't bother moving from his bed in the least. He wanted to forget what he saw last night. Forget it all.

Kheelan waited for a few minutes before sighing heavilly. Was Ken that angry at him? He couldn't even remember what he did... The fairy used his spare key to get in, walking straight into the bedroom. He sighed softly, walking closer with a visible limp. "Hey, wake up. We gotta go..." The blond murmured softly, gently shaking his friend. He opened the blinds, hoping that they can leave till evening.

Ken simply muttered something and rolled over to his other side. More than likely something to the effect of "five more minutes." Or the like. He really hit it hard last night. And he couldn't remember why he did. But he slowly stirred awake and saw Kheelan staring into Ken's room. He shook his head slowly. "Please... Don't say anything..."
