Appearance: Sousuke is a tall, well-built young man with short dark brown hair, droopy teal eyes and usually wearing a serious facial expression.

While swimming, he wears black jammers which either have white, gray and brown or just teal markings trailing along the length of his outer legs and thighs.

Personality: Sosuke is said to be a good person who understands Rin a lot. He has a strong personality and never gets irritated by anything. He takes a dry and harsh position on swimming toward himself and those around him. He's very overprotective of Rin, as he threatens Haruka not to get in Rin's way ever again, after what he did at the regionals.

Appearance: Makoto is a tall young man with short, olive green hair and droopy green eyes. His usual school uniform consists of light brown trousers, a white shirt with a green necktie, dark gray unbuttoned blazer and orange sneakers. During the spring and summer, he also wears his summer uniform that consists of gray trousers, a white shirt with a dark gray collar, the green dotted necktie and the orange sneakers.

While swimming, he wears black long leg swim pants that have green patterns on them. He's seen wearing black framed glasses once, but it's not said whether he really needs them or not.

Personality: Makoto is a nice and considerate guy, who is always concerned about his friends' welfare. Due to his caring personality, he is often seen with a gentle smile on his face. However, he is rather weak-hearted and can get scared easily, as shown when he appeared terrified of the possibility that their old Swimming Club may be haunted.

Makoto was driving the firetruck to yet another arson attack. It seemed to be the current issue in the town. People setting fires to abandoned homes and small businesses. He arrived on scene with his team as they readied the hoses. Makoto helped out as they began dousing the flames with water. It was an abandoned home so it was vacant, meaning no one inside. Even so a small team of firefighters entered just to be safe. Homes like these were often inhabited by squatters or homeless.

Today Sosuke was really busy with his works. It seemed the there was a fire up and it was not the same as usual like Makoto was saying, his chief ordered him to take a few officers to the fire building. It seemed that some kid. was in there kidnapped by another stranger. He did as he asked and got there immediately, signed the officers to be ready and aim their guns. He move the megaphone to his mouth and...

 

"This is the police, release the child and come out, hands abode your head!"

Makoto got the okay that the building was empty. The rest of the flames were put out and things calmed down. Now was time to search the rubble and find the cause of the fire. This tends to be the difficult part. Most of the times it ended up with nothing. The items used to start the fire were mostly turned to ash by the time the flames were taken care of. This is why they continued to have these arson problems.

It seemed that Sosuke had to go inside himself. He went to the firefighters and asked on of them. "Is there any of you inside?" He replied. "Yes, Tachibabna san is!" Sosuke became a bit worried as he rushed inside, they was still fogs of smut inside so he couldn't see well. He heard a voice of a child and hurried to the direction.

Makoto was focused on finding evidence but was distracted upon hearing the voice of a child. He instantly stopped what he was doing and headed towards the voice. He looked around hoping the person hadn't been hurt in the fire. As he shuffled through the mess he noticed Sosuke. He knew the police were on this case just as much as the fire department. He glanced over at him to see if he had heard the same thing.

Sosuke didn't see Makoto. He followed the voice and found a tall man with a mask, with a kid in his arms, a blade on his neck. "Go away!" Sosuke aimed the man. "Let go of the child and put down your blade, hands above your head, now!" He yelled, waiting for an action.

Makoto watched Sosuke as the other confronted a criminal holding a child hostage. He wasn't sure what to do but he was also curious as if this person was the one starting fires. He wanted to help the other but he knew better than to interfere with police work. It was just as dangerous as fighting fires.

[Ryouta]

The man with the mask saw Makoto was watching and grinned, he suddenly let go of the child and the threw the blade to Makoto. Sosuke realized that somebody was standing there so he ran to him. Soon enough he noticed that it was the person that he always liked. "Look out!" He said as he defended him and the blade stabbed right into his shoulder, he groaned as he aimed the gun. "You can't escape now!"

Makoto noticed the child run off and was going to go after them. Though he was soon seeing Sosuke hurt before his eyes. He knew it must seriously hurt to be hit with a knife like that. He glanced up at the masked male and then Sosuke. Noticing he was unarmed now, Makoto ran after him not about to let him get away.

[Ryouta]

Sosuke saw the other running to him. He soon rushed to the masked male and then grabbed his hands. "You're under arrest..." He couldn't feel his shoulders anymore though he knew that he couldn't leave his police work like that. He tie up his hands with cuffs and then sat him on the ground. He looked at his shoulder, grabbing the back of the blade, trying to take it out.

Makoto looked at Sosuke as he noticed the male was hurt badly. "You shouldn't pull it out. You might make things worse." he said looking at him seriously. He was truly worried but not sure what to do. Police and firefighters were on totally different levels. He glanced at the criminal on the ground. He wasn't sure what to do at the moment.

[Ryouta]

Sosuke was glad the the other wasn't hurt. He smiled and glanced up at the olive male. "Hello to you to Makoto!" He said as he continued with his job, he slowly took out the knife from his shoulder as he groaned. He stood up, aiming the gun at the masked male. "Stand up and walk." He yelled as he glanced over Makoto. "You go outside first, I'll come!"

Makoto was silent as he slowly stood up. He then made his way outside the rubble building. He kept glancing back as he wanted to be sure Sosuke would come out after him. That masked man worried him about things. After all just because he seemed unarmed doesn't mean he was. After seeing Sosuke hurt he worried even more.

[Ryouta]

Sosuke had finally find the way out. He sat the masked male down on his knee as the other policemen took him away. A female police officer ran to him as he seemed worried about his injury though Sosuke didn't really think about that. "Makoto, are you okay?" He asked again.

[azuneko]

Makoto looked at Sosuke and shook his head. "Don't worry about me. You are the one who got injured. Go take care of that before it becomes too much." he said hoping the other would listen. He honestly was worried about him. He then remembers he was still working so he had to get going back to the fire station. "I'll see you around Sosuke." he said before heading back to the truck.

[Ryouta]

Sosuke smiled, being happy that Makoto was worried about him. "Thank you and okay, take care!" He watched the other leave then he walked back to Yona, the girl that wanted to bandage his injury. He let her do, it hurt him a bit in his shoulder but it wasn't like that it was the first time,, he was used to it. He got back to the police station with others but he wanted to spend more time with Makoto

Makoto arrived at the fire station and helped clean the truck and equipment. Once everything was done, he clocked out for the day and decided to head to Haruka's restaurant for a bite to eat. As he arrived he noticed Nagisa and Rei already there. He smiled taking a seat with them. He was worried about Sosuke as he wasn't sure if the other had gotten treatment for his wound.

Sosuke was done with his injury and his police work for that day but his mind was still busy about Makoto. Since there had been long since they met again, except in work. There was no other way to communicate with him though they had become best friends and bodies. He wanted to spend more time with him even if it was not possible for the olive haired to be his, yes he had a crush on him and couldn't tell him since he was already dating someone.

After having a meal and sharing some laughs with his friends; Makoto headed home. He checked his cell as he had a missed call from his girl friend. He decided to call her back. He wanted to see if everything was alright. She seemed to be happy and wanted to meet up with him tomorrow. Makoto figured it was fine since it was his day off. After talking for a while, he arrived home and sat on his bed. He really was worried about Sosuke more than anything else.

[Ryouta]

Sosuke finally changed his uniform and wanted to leave that Yona appeared out of nowhere again. "Sosuke, I brought your medicines for the injury, also let me look at it! It might be worse if I don't change the bandages." Sosuke looked at the girl for a second as he stood up to leave. "I'm fine like this, see you tomorrow!" He said and left the station, drove to his place.

Makoto decides to give Rin a call. He figured the red head could give him Sosuke's number. He couldn't rest easy not knowing if the other was doing well. He called and waited for Rin to answer. First he asked for the other's number. After receiving it, he thanks him. Makoto wasted no time calling Sosuke after speaking with Rin.

[Ryouta]

Sosuke was deep in thought, he had gotten home, took a shower and went to bed but couldn't sleep for a minute, each time he closed his eyes, Makoto would come in front of them and he would opened them. He sighed as he started to think of his smell and face and voice. He wanted to see the other so much and his phone rang, he looked at the unknown number and answer. "Hello?"

Makoto was glad to hear the other answer the call. "Hello Sosuke. I know this might be a bit surprising but its Makoto. I got your number from Rin. I hope that's alright. I was just seriously worried about you today. Did you go see a doctor about that shoulder? If not did you at least take normal first aid to it? I would hate for you to get ill or something from it." he said clearly worried as he spoke.

[Ryouta]

Sosuke surprised when he heard the other`s voice on the phone. Makoto actually introduced himself but Sosuke noticed right after he said the first word. He smiled faintly, feeling really happy that he was worried enough to take his number from somebody and call him. He nodded as he closed his eyes, leaning back to the bed. "I didn't go to a doctor but now it's in bandage. I'm fine so don't worry yourself and thanks for being worried, I really appreciate that..." He said gently.
