InkompleteWish
Name: Dylan Sachs Age: 37 years old Occupation: Mafia member, higher ranked, nicknamed 'Benji' by his peers. Personality: Dylan is a serious and hardworking man. He takes great pride in his success to be the right hand of his families head. He is taking every work the head assigns him. Like everyone in the mafia he has to be tough and shouldn't sway in his decisions. One wrong step and you could end up dead, that's why he rarely shows his real side. Only when in the comfort of the main house is he able to relax. Though strong willed and hardworking, he can also be caring towards his subordinates. When the kid of his boss was still young, Dylan was often found doting on him. Maybe already ridiculously. He sees himself as old already and he would wish for his own family with kids but he didn't want to endanger anyone so he stopped searching for someone. History: Being a delinquent in school, Dylan was easy to fall into the dark side of this world. He was lucky to be found by the old head. The other was a few years older than him but lead his own mafia family. It encouraged Dylan to work for his new friend. Both of them were known to be the 'best' of the mafia world. Everywhere they walked they were respected for the youth. Many assassination attempts and years later, they grew old. His friend found a mistress and she birthed a child to succeed him. The mistress died soon after though through a bullet fight on a party. Since then Dylan was working hard to let the brat live. It was a good reminder that life was fragile and it would be his time soon. But until then he would make sure that the next generation would survive this harsh world. If he had one goal then it was this. Not to die a dog’s death but leave something worth behind. Plot story and my Beginning Post Dylan Sachs, also called Benji, didn't have it easy in his life. But frankly no one had it easy in the mafia. So after every assassination attempt he would go down to the cities bars and down a few mugs. This life scarred him mentally and physically but more so was his best friend and boss, the mafia don of one of the biggest families in the world. Not only did his friend lose his wife and childhood, no he also had to help his own son grow into his successor. But frankly the time was missing and more often then not Dylan found himself in front of the young boy. And it was already decided that he would spoil the boy rotten. But though things might appear happy at times, most times it wasn't. An enemy family, the Cavalleno family, has always been at war with theirs. But now they decided to take it up a notch. Not only did they try to kidnap or kill the young master, no they also tried to get other families to revolt against them. So now he had to be even more careful of assassinations. Frankly, Dylan felt that the only place he could really relax in would be the main house. Just like now for example. The brat was gone for his afternoon lessons and the old man didn't have much to do at the moment. So he decided to sit on the porch to the garden and drink a glass of wine or two. Hopefully Ave, short for Aventino, wouldn't come up with new missions to take. The head really liked to not see him able to rest.
King Regnant
Name: Arnold Barsanti Age: Thirty Five Occupation: Street Boss/Head Capo Personality: Arnold has always been a serious, calm dispositioned man. He takes great pride in his work without boasting and at the same time doesn't take any risks. Many men that work under him are extremely intimidated by his callous attitude and willingness to kill without a second thought. There has been no one that has gotten close to him and because of that, the man remains a large mystery when it comes to things outside of work. Even when he is in a relaxed, safe envitement he tends to be a man of few worlds and even less smiles. It's only when he finds himself emotionally drawn towards someone that can one get a glimpse of what is really inside. When they do, they will see a devoted man who cares for those that have proved themselves to him, as well as a large flirt and teasing personality. History: N/A To be honest, Arnold hadn't really expected to be asked to come stay in the main house. He had been informed of the oncoming wars between families a few onths prior, but apparently the whole thing had taken a turn for the worse. To have him asked to personally come protected those of the family wasn't something he could refuse, but he supposed he wouldn't mind in the end, even if most of the staff did get on his nerves. The money would be good and he would most likely get to eyeball one of his favorite members of the whole family; Dylan Sachs. The thought of the other man made him smirk slightly. That was enough motivation to go and try to seek him out, knowing he had to likely be somewhere within the house. As he rounded the corner of the porch, a few of the maids made a noise and all seemed to quickly walk away. All Arnold could do was scoff in both amusement and annoyance at the fact that no one would tolerate his presence, as though he were some sort of nuisance to them. He knew that wasn't the case though; most were just scared of him. That gave him comfort. It wasn't long before he did manage to stumble onto Dylan, who seemed to just be relaxing on the porch during his free time. It made the blond chuckle very softly in his throat as he strolled closer. "Afternoon, Sachs." He greeted calmly, plopping down into the chair that sat beside the other. Arnold crossed his legs and quietly lit a cigarette, He eyeballed the glass of wine that sat on the table that separated them and smirked slightly. "Drinking on the job, eh?" He murmured under his breath as a cloud of smoke rolled out of his nose. It wasn't that he cared much, but he needed to find something to poke fun at the other man. Arnold gently pulled the hat he typically wore to reveal his neatly combed blond hair. He gently ran his fingers through it and yawned lazily, blue eyes staring out from the porch. "It's been pretty calm this week.. I thought being asked to stay here meant shit was hitting the fan.. But instead it's more like a vacation. Kinda disappointing." InkompleteWish
With a long groan he rested his body on one of the chairs that stood on the porch. Just like he thought, Ave didn't have any new missions. A servant came earlier and notified him. Today seemed to be a day like no other. The Cavalleno family or any other decided not to do anything today so Dylan was practically free for now. Though his dreaded paperwork was still lying on the desk in his office. The mafioso was rather the practical type of guy, so it wasn't unusual that his paperwork was sometimes a few days untouched when he did decide to do it. But he was proud that it was always on time, even if he started doing it later on. But not today, today was a day to relax and Dylan wanted to enjoy it. After a good half of his first glass of wine, the brown haired male registered a familiar voice calling him. The body plopping down in the chair next to him confirmed his assumption. "I have to drink if I want to bear this shit, Barsanti. So the old guy also called you. The main house is getting noisier each day." he stated with a sigh and took another sip of his beverage. Out of consideration he ordered a nearby servant to get another glass for his companion. Though the both of them don't know each other well enough, they were allies so Dylan wanted to be as friendly as possible in this shitty world they called mafia. Offering a drink was usual the best way to start a conversation. "I hope you will assist me with this." he stated and picked up the bottle of wine. Even before the other was able to reply, he filled the glass the servant brought and put the bottle down on the table with a small 'thump'. "Don't be fooled. The Cavalleno are as nasty as ever. Wouldn't be surprised if they are plotting something nasty again. Ave wants to protect his little sheep so maybe that's why he called you." the right hand man stated and took another sip. Whatever the enemy was planning, Ave was afraid of it. And that was enough reason to worry than any.
King Regnant
"Of course. There's little more that I enjoy then drinking fine wine with handsome men.." Arnold said with a growing grin, his gaze still cast out over the property. He gently picked up his glass as it was filled with wine and took a sip, letting out a hum of pleasure. "Whatever the reason is, I'll do my job. That's all that matters. As long as he knows that I'm not picky on who I will kill in order to take no chances that those in this house are safe." And maybe that was exactly why he was brought here in the first place. The man tended to be a kill first, ask questions later type of person. "..You're one of Ave's favorites, aren't you?" Arnold questioned out loud, gaze now shifting over to stare at Sachs. He took another drag off his cigarette before snuffing it out on the bottom his shoe as he crossed his legs. "That means I'll make sure to keep an extra eye on you." His mouth curled into a rather wolfish grin and he chuckled lowly under his throat. "Not that I haven't already, to be honest." How could he say it? Arnold had found himself attracted to Dylan from the moment he had ever met him. It was why he would go out of his way to make conversation on the rare instants the two were in the same room. Of course, he would never openly pursue the other man as he would a normal relationship.. Instead, he had been silently admiring him and his rear for the passed few years over their few encounters. He enjoyed flirting with people who worked near him as it was amusing to see their reactions and how they handled it; most seemed to completely ignore the fact that Arnold was apparently attracted to men at all, either out of fear or denial. "I offered to go in and slaughter every one of the Cavalleno." Arnold murmured before taking another sip of wine. "But apparently that's not how the boss wants to go about it. I think he might doubt my skills."
InkompleteWish
Dylan knew of Arnold's reputation in the group. They never had a mission together but when meetings rolled around, they would get to chat now and then. And as practically the right hand man he was expected to know the gossip in the group. A well informed man in this mafia world was pure gold. Though he couldn't be counted as an informant, Dylan knew nearly everything about the group. Of course he didn't pry so much into the personal life of others; he still had his orders to monitor them sometimes. Afraid of spies in their own group. During these troubling times it wasn't uncommon if someone would switch sides. "Right back at you." he muttered at the other's compliment. It wasn't like Dylan denied advances, be it male or female but he would just sleep with some random people. Even if they are in the same mafia family. It took more to get into his pants that just corny pick up lines. "Yeah, that's why probably. I get tired of just plainly killing though." he said and sighed afterwards. The sigh was followed with a large sip of his wine. He was just so tired of killing people without questioning them first. He was by no means weak but he still possessed some humanity in him. And he always wondered who would be sad or angry if he killed their father, brother or whatever. In the end it was always coming back after all. "I wouldn't say favorite. We just know each other since teenager years." he muttered and looked at the red wine swirling in his glass. It wasn't a big deal, not to Dylan but some envied him for this. "I thank you for the nice compliment but I am not interested in the moment." he said on the side and continued "Well, I am sure he is just as considerate to your future like he is with everyone else. Just mindlessly going in and maybe die isn't his cup of tea. I think he wants to destroy them from the inside instead. Hadn't gotten any orders though so I can't say for sure." His second glass was empty again and the Mafiosi refilled it. After making sure that he had another round of alcohol, his gaze shifted over Arnold before landing on the garden. The season was early summer so everything was in bloom and it was already quite hot. It was almost like a beautiful picture.
