The blacksmith. The blue-eyed raven. These were the nicknames that Alfonz got after living a year in this small town. But people who knew the man with the striking blue eyes simply called him Al. As if his entire life he had never had a surname. He was known to be the greatest blacksmith of the town; creating some of the finest metal works for the kingdom who had adopted him. He had only stayed in the place for a year but people began to grow very fond of him as he was very kind and friendly; not to mention attractive.

Physically, he is a tall man with short hair as black as coal and eyes as blue as the clear sky above. He easily stand out because of those feature, added to the fact that his movements were very graceful-- almost royal-like.

Unbeknownst to the townsfolk, his real name is Prince Alfonz Leonov, heir to the throne of the Kingdom Mailev. No one knew about his past as he didn't inform anyone who he was when he first arrived at the town. It was exactly one year and today also happens to be Alfonz' 27th birthday. Exactly one year since he fled his kingdom Mailev and resided in this small town, away from all obligations that he was about to shoulder.

Today is another ordinary day for Alfonz as he opens his shop of forged weponry and armors. He lives alone in a room upstairs but he managed to get an assistant to help him on his job. Today, he is scheduled to forge a sword for the royal family as per the current king's request. Alfonz was glad that he is now being recognized and soon, he will be well off, enough to buy an even better house for himself instead of just a small, shabby room.

    30

It had grown later in the afternoon, nearing evening when Leroy had finally managed to make an escape from the grand palace. He was relieved to finally be done from all his work, having woken to start the day at six in the morning, and he'd been going constantly with various matters about the palace, meetings to attend, instructions and a plan that had filled up his entire day. Not it was nearing sunset and he was finally getting his first breath of fresh air and relaxing. Even lunch hadn't been relaxing, as he ate with his father and was pulled into a political conversation.

Letting out a heavy sigh, green eyes closed as a hand raked through his nearly black colored hair. He let out a huff of air as he looked up at the sky. Even this was an errand for his father. But at least he was outside and got to go himself. He'd snuck away from the guards to get some air. Even though it was an errand for his father, it wasn't as stressful or annoying as the previous matters he'd dealt with all day. He got to walk outside at least for this once.

As he walked down the streets, the crowds seemed to part automatically for him upon seeing his presence. He walked up to the blacksmith shop, only to pause for a moment when a few kids ran up to him giddy with excitement upon seeing the prince, heir to throne. He blinked, and grinned at the kids, crouching down to their level and talking with their excited, animated voices. Kids were one thing he'd a weakness for, and would never ignore. Adults, on the other hand, were another story. But it was because of his love of kids - probably in an envy, that he'd never gotten to really be a kid, and inside he still was one - why he was more loved and favored than his older brother, who was a grumpy, arrogant and conceited male. Granted, Leroy did still have a bit of arrogance to him, but it wasn't as rotten as his eldest brother.

When the kids scattered away after having gotten to talk to him, the prince stood back up straight and walked into the blacksmith shop to check on the order his father had made about some equipment a few weeks ago.

Alfonz worked on the sword the whole day that his arms almost became sore and tired. He never rested. The only breaks he took were during lunch and a snack. Becoming a blacksmith wasn't easy but he was once taught by this master blacksmith back in his kingdom. Those simple teachings had left a mark in his mind so now he's using them to make a living. He was in a deep concentration that he didn't even hear his helper call him out for a few breaks. He's starting to see the fruits of his hard work as the sword took shape that he couldn't stop halfway now.

"Al!" the voice finally got through his head as he paused from hitting the metal. "Thank god you finally heard me" Dimitri said. He was this young man, younger than Alfonz by two years but have the eyes of a wise man. He has reddish brown hair that clumped on top of his head with curls going nowhere. "this was from the castle. Saying they'd pick the sword up by today. Quite a rush since they only asked you to make this sword two days ago." Handing a piece of scroll to Alfonz, he went back to his business; cleaning up the shop and putting away every equipment that were in the way.

Alfonz took his shirt off and wiped off the sweat and grime that he acquired during the day as he panted and read the letter. "Unbelievable. It can't be done for three days. Let alone having an intricate handle for this sword." he said, a thick foreign accent rolled off his tongue as he spoke.

"Well, that's the king's orders." Dimitri chuckled before gasping audibly seeing a man approaching the shop. The man stood out from his royal aura that surrounded him as well as from the clothes he was wearing. "Isn't that..? The prince! Put a shirt on and be decent, for crying out loud!"

Alfonz was slightly startled as it was too late to put a shirt on when the prince arrived, already standing in front of the shop. It's not that he's shy being naked in front of people. In fact a half naked Alfonz is always a treat and that's what drives people, mostly women, to visit the shop even if all they had to do was take a glance over that well toned body coated with coal and sweat of hard work.

He approached the prince, wiping his hands and face clean with a cloth before posing a perfect, albeit awkward smile. "Your Highness!" he said, bowing gently. "It's a pleasure to see you.. in my humble shop... How can I be of service?" he was still panting deeply and being nervous in front of the prince isn't helping him from breathing heavily.

Leroy smiled as he watched the children scurry off to their parents who stood to the side, horrified their kids just rushed into the prince's way like that. But they were relieved at how the prince reacted, treating the children kindly before they had scurried back to their parents. They smiled to the generous prince before said male just gave a curt nod back to them, turning into the direction he originally was headed, and stepping inside the shop. He glanced around at the musty, dirty place - though that was to be expected in a blacksmiths. There were different types of swords and other metal weapons and weaponry along the walls. He admired the handiwork slightly, before he heard a voice greeting him.

His piercing green eyes turned in the direction of the voice, eyes falling down slightly to glance over the others bare and sculpted chest. He couldn't help but admire the definition in the mans body, even with a layer of sweat covering his heated skin from working, the male was still without a doubt attractive, that was for sure. He finally lifted his gaze to meet the others blue eyes, giving a nod and small smile "At ease. I am just visiting. I found myself with some free time so I wanted to check on an order the king had placed here a few weeks ago" he said.

Normally, his father would order supplies and weaponry for the troops from a larger, mass supplier that could get them out quickly and easily. But there were occasionally a few orders that were special his father would have this growingly known blacksmith shop make. Little shops like these were better at making better quality and designed swords. Usually his father would need something of the such for some sort of gift, perhaps a promotion gift to a guard or general of the troops.

"Ah the sword. Yes..." Alfonz' gaze dropped on the ground thinking he is a bit late in finishing the said weapon. Turning around, he met Dimitri handing him the now cooled sword over a cloth. He smiled and took it from the brunette before presenting it to the prince. "I know the king had placed the order a few weeks ago, but getting the material that best suits this took me an entire week." he said nervously, a light blush appearing on his cheeks. "Forging and putting it altogether took me three days. I was just making sure of its strength today but it will take me until tonight. I hope you forgive me from such delays, your highness." he shook his head, clearly hating to disappoint the prince.

He was prepared to be scolded for such delays but not to the point that he'd lose the contract he has with the king. Alfonz could never bear such humiliation when the king himself decided to cancel everything on him. His reputation will be all gone even before he properly gained them.

He didn't find a need to lift his head too much to meet the prince's face. They were rather close to each other so he could see every details on Prince Leroy's face; those piercing green eyes that were veiled underneath those dark, long lashes, his perfectly carved nose and small, but rather full, rosy lips. He even noted the other male's beauty mark that was peeking underneath his collar. He stopped himself and averted his eyes to a different direction before he could see anything that is purely off-limits for a peasant like him.

Pondering for a bit, Alfonz realized that this is the first time that he actually met the prince. Of course, he knew what the prince looks like when he arrived in this place. There was a parade and Prince Leroy was on a majestic white horse, wearing a very stoic expression. He could never forget that face. How could he? A beautiful face like that is not an easy thing to be forgotten.

When the other first spoke, Leroy could already tell something was wrong with the mention of the sword. He raised an eyebrow as he looked to the other when he started talking about the supplies, and everything else that seemed to be taking a while. He narrowed his eyes at the others finish saying that it was delayed and wouldn't be ready in time. He glanced to the sword presented to him, taking hold of the hilt to inspect it.

"I would imagine a small place like this would have plenty of time to get something done on time" he started with a slight disapproving glare at the male before him, before looking back at the sword as he spoke "A dirty place like this...can't be very popular with business. You should be lucky my father pays attention to a spec of a shop such as this. I would think you would appreciate that and take the time to get such orders done on time" he said running his fingers delicately over the blade. "luckily for you, this isn't needed until the end of the week. However, now I still have wasted my time to come here. What do you expect me to do about that? How should you compensate for my loss of the little free time I get?" he said as he looked up at the other, seeing how he was avoiding his direct gaze and frowned.

"You should look at someone when they're talking to you" he sneered with a glare as he thrust the point of the sword down into the wooden desk table beside them, holding the hilt "This sword isn't even that good. It's not nearly sharp enough. Even if it is only for a display, I'd think a prideful blacksmith who took any actual care into his work would still want every detail perfected about the sword he creates. Nothing should be over looked, even if it is just a display sword" he spoke as he let go of the sword, letting it stay stuck into the wood standing upright.

Alfonz saw this coming. He had his lips tucked under his teeth as he bit them from slight nervousness. This was rather a first time for him to be scolded like that and he isn't used to it. He took the prince's words rather hard that it brought pain in the pits of his stomach. He knew the prince was right. He was very lucky to even get noticed by the royalty and he had shamed himself in front of the prince for letting him down. Even Dimitri felt bad for his master as he stood behind Alfonz motionless.

Before he could even add what he could offer in return, the prince had struck the sword against the wooden table beside him that fueled his anxiousness even more. He's just hoping the prince would give him a second change knowing they need the weapon by the end of the week. He only had a year of experience, but that fact should never stop him from improving quickly. That and he needs to improve his social interactions as well. Especially when he's around a royalty.

He bowed deeper, humbling himself before the now angry prince. "I am truly regretting this. Forgive me your highness. I ask for another chance. Your sword will be ready the day before the deadline. For the meantime..." he lifted his head before running towards his box, frantically digging for something before pulling out what he needed. "I humbly present you this as a compensation. A gift. This is the first top quality dagger I made and it is very precious to me. I wish you take this as a form of my apology." He held the dagger in front of the prince with both hands.

The dagger has a leather scabbard made from a wild boar's skin, delicately embellished with rare gems that could only be found in his kingdom as the gems were from his old, royal cloak. The handle was made from gaboon ebony with dainty carvings of painted gold. It was indeed a fine handicraft and it slightly broke Alfonz' heart that he have no other choice but to give it to the prince.

Standing there with his arms cross, Leroy finished his lectured scolding towards the male standing before him. He watched him fumbling over his words and clearly nervous, wanting nothing but forgiveness. He finally fell silent when he finished talking, waiting for some sort of response for the other, something. He wondered just how humble or respectful this man could be. Interesting too, since the raven haired male appeared to bit a little older than him. It seemed his apprentice, or coworker was more like Leroy's own age.

Looking back at the blacksmith bowing before him, he watched as he fumbled over to a box, grabbing something. He watched curiously, still with a hard gaze though. He looked at the box with interest - it didn't seem like something of the shop, a toolbox or anything. It seemed more personable, like a mini treasure box for personal items. He watched as he pulled out what seemed to be a dagger, before presenting it to him. He raised an eyebrow as he looked at he, before looking to the others face "You have more guts than I thought" he said and smirked as he took the dagger, curiously looking at it and the incredible handiwork and craftsmanship at from one end to the other. "This certainly is a fine piece of work. I've never seen such jewels before...It certainly is a one of a kind treasure" he spoke, clearly admiring the dagger and how well it was made with such care.

He looked at it once more before placing it back in the leather scabbard and back in the blacksmiths hands "I won't accept it, however. I'm not so low as to take someones personal property, especially when they clearly worked hard on it" he spoke before glancing to the red-haired male in the back, ignoring him as he looked back to the man before him "In exchange for taking up my time. You shall now spare me some of your own time."

His eyes widened and sighed in relief hearing the prince decline his gift and giving him a change to redeem himself. He bowed deeply before him before lifting his head up with a smile, tucking the dagger on his waist. He wasn't sure what the prince would want, spending some time with a lowly commoner, but it was the prince's wish. He'd better not turn him down.

"Of course, your most highness... I will be honored to spend my time with you." he said, his voice is now calm and composed. "I just need to get a change of clothes..." He paused as Dimitri stepped into the scene, handing Alfonz a new shirt.

"You can't just make the prince wait for you to get dressed, can you? You're not a princess, Al." Dimitri said before bowing to the prince before dismissing himself. "I shall take care of closing the shop for the night. You go ahead and enjoy the rest of the evening."

Alfonz smiled, thanking Dimirti before quickly putting the shirt on as he faced the prince once more. It was only then that he felt the exhaustion succumb his body from working all day. "Ah... I haven't bathed your highness. Forgive me if I smell of sweat and coal." he said shyly, embarrassed as how rugged he look compared to the royalty beside him.

He couldn't help but smirk a bit upon seeing how relieved the other was. He waited for his response, which he was sure would be an acceptance to spend time with him. He nodded slightly when the other had agreed to do so, before mentioning being dressed. In the back of Leroy's mind, he couldn't help but admit to himself that he honestly probably wouldn't mind if the male stayed shirtless. It was more than a pleasant sight to see and admire of. But he of course allowed the other to get dressed, watching the younger male hand him some clothes.

He waited in silence as the other pulled on the shirt and then talked about his sweat and not having bathed "It is alright. I was the one who requested your time in the middle of your work" he said then glanced back to the unfinished sword he had scolded about earlier "or perhaps I shouldn't be taking your time, if you can't finish a single sword" he spoke. His tone was teasing and playful, but there was still a hint of annoyance in the depths of it. For the most part though, he'd gotten over the sword as he headed out of the shop with the other when he was ready.

"Now then, what to do" he said as he glanced to the slightly taller male beside him "I wish for you to entertain me with your company. I hope you can come up with something, or I will surely be disappointed" he said smirking as he looked to the male "you wouldn't want to disappoint me for the second time today, now would you? I've had a rather long and tiring day" he spoke as he spared a glance to look upon the males body once more, before looking forward again "First, What is your name? You shall call me Prince Leroy."

Alfonz scratched his head upon hearing the prince's words. He knew he sounded like he's teasing him, but really. He needed to finish that sword soon or he'll regret it. "I know. I'll definitely finish it soon. But accompanying the prince is an order." he said.

"My name is Al..fonz. Alfonz. You can call me Al." he said, hesitating to state his real name for a bit but he gave it anyway. It's not like his name is weird and foreign at all. "So, Prince Leroy" he started. "I've heard a lot about you. Good things. Like how good you are at handling political issues as an heir to the throne." he said, trying to open a conversation. He knew the prince is exhausted from all his duties and he's trying to imply that the prince could rant to him about how frustrating it is to be a royal. He knew how tough it is to not have someone to talk to when you're in a moment like that.

"And the people here thinks you are a very handsome young man. I could say you really are." he smiled, before looking ahead of them as they strolled along the town's streets. Alfonz saw a young lady selling sweet desserts on a stick and exclaimed in delight. "Would you like some traditional sweets?" he asked, pointing towards the booth's direction. "It's sweet potato paste that's balled and coated with sugar and deep fried and skewered. My treat, of course." he grinned.

Leroy simply nodded his head at the other when he said he would soon finish the sword. He hoped the other would be right about that. He'd have to lie to his father to come up with something, saying he forgot to stop by and check on the sword, so that the male didn't get scolded by the King himself for being delayed in the producing of the sword.

As they walked out of the shop and down the street, he listened to the other start talking about him being a prince and he sighed a bit, a slight frown on his face "Good, huh?" he muttered as he ran a hand through his hair "There really isn't anything good about being a prince. Especially an heir. I don't completely mind it...but it causes a lot more hassles and troubles for me. Sometimes I'd prefer to just be able to sit and sleep all day" he said and smirked as he glanced to the other "I know, that probably sounds selfish coming from me, for a commoner like you to hear." he said as he slipped his hands into his pockets "You probably think a prince has the perfect life, everything he could want and ask for. You probably hate me for saying something so selfish, of wanting more time to relax, compared to the work you do laboring over hot iron all day" he said sighing softly.

He heard the other then mention the pastries and looked over to them curiously, tilting his head "sweet potato paste...?" he muttered curiously as he'd never had something like that before. Living in the palace they ate much higher quality foods, rich to the eye and stomach. Foods that were imported and prepared days in advance "I don't know if I should...." he muttered looking at the object but saw the other seemed excited to have him try it "I suppose it wouldn't hurt" he gave in slowly.

Alfonz sighed and shook his head gently. "No, really." he said in a much softer, sincere voice. "I do understand. I actually..." he stopped in the middle of his speech, realizing he had almost slipped a vital information about his past. How could he lose his control over something so simple? Maybe because he could just relate to this young prince. He knew all too well the things he's going through. In fact, prince Leroy here has a lot more guts to do his duties as heir than him. He left because he was selfish and never looked back. "...I actually understand since we all do have to work hard. You, as a preparation for being king, while me and everyone else, as to make ends meet everyday." He simply said, quickly saving his near slip. "Come, let's take a look at the treat." he said enthusiastically, leading the prince to the snack booth.

Picking one piece of the still hot, skewered sweet treat, he offered it to the prince but immediately took it back only to blow air on it to cool. He lightly blushed before smiling awkwardly. "Sorry. Ah, here. So you won't burn your tongue, Prince Leroy." he said, handing it for the second time, his left hand cupping on the bottom so it won't make a mess on the royal's shirt. "The trick is eating it quick or else it'd make a mess. Here!" The dessert, which at first just seemed like a rice ball started to lose its firmness and slowly, like molten cheese, it started to separate itself from the wooden skewer.

Hearing the other sounding so soft and sincere, Leroy blinked a bit turning his head to look at the other curiously. He actually, what? He wondered what he was going to say, as the other seemed to pause in the middle of his words and consider what he said carefully. Perhaps it was just because he was speaking to the heir prince? Or, was there another reason, perhaps? He wondered what it was, having this weird feeling in the back of his mind nagging at him. But then the other was soon continuing on, about how it was just that everyone had to work and had their own responsibilities. He looked at him curiously, simply nodding his head "Many commoners don't think that way....you're interesting, Alfonse" he said with a smile before watching the other run off to the stand and talk about something regarding the sweets.

He watched the male pick up a stick containing of the sweet paste he had been talking about. He looked at it curiously, raising an eyebrow when the other blew on it to cool it. "Oh...ah, o-okay..." he said a bit awkwardly as he leaned forward, biting the sweet paste and pulling it off, into his mouth carefully because of its hotness. He'd never eat something so messily before, without utensils or anything, he was confused how to eat it at first. But the second the sweetness touched his tongue, his eyes lit up like a little childs at the taste of the flavor, "Oh! That's good!" he exclaimed happily with a childlike grin on his face.

Alfonz' face lit up as the prince took a bite of the food. He smiled before pulling his hands away, getting rid of the used stick. "I'm glad you liked it. It's the most popular dessert here." he grinned at the lady who looked astonished and offered five more of her products to the prince. "For you, your highness. Free of charge." she said, offering a small plate of dessert. Alfonz took it before thanking the woman and walking off with the prince.

"Are you serious you don't serve this in the castle, Prince Leroy? Then you're really missing out." he slightly teased, taking a dessert and eating it. He held the plate in between them as they continued to stroll around town. For a moment, Alfonz thought this is like some sort of a date but that's impossible. He's a prince and he knows he's just a commoner... and a man. Nevertheless, he tried his best to enjoy the company of another royal since it's not common for him to experience that. Even before when he was still living in his kingdom.

"So..." he started again, trying to make a conversation so the prince won't be too bored. "There's a lot of great food here aside from that. And also, I know a good spot hidden in the forest not too far from here." he said, turning his head to look at Prince Leroy. "It's like my hidden paradise. Away from problems... I go there when I need to think about things." he said, taking his stare back, looking at the distance.

Leroy nodded his head "It's absolutely delicious! I'm surprised I've never had one before" he said with a very happy smile on his face "Don't tell anyone, but sweets are my weakness" he grinned as he glanced to the lady who was probably in awe at even having a prince visit her small nobody of a stand. He smiled and slipped his hand in his pocket, setting three gold coins on the stand counter for her, which was far more worth than five of the pastries. He was aware of that, simply, didn't care. He thanked her "I'll be sure to stop by again some time" he smiled to her before walking off with the commoner beside him "I must thank you...I don't think I would ever considering such a small cheap stand like that....but thats probably better than some of the desserts at the castle I get" he said in thought as he took another of the pastries on the plate, popping one in his mouth as he ate.

He raised an eyebrow at the others own teasing tone, smirking a bit "Are you teasing me, commoner?" he teased back smirking a bit "You really are turning out to be worth my time. Lucky you" he stated as he continued walking with the other. He listened to him start explaining about a place in the forest, and he raised an eyebrow "Really? I travel through the forest all the time on horseback. I wonder if I've ever passed through it before" he said aloud in thought "Would you be willing to take me there? I'm rather interested" he said with a smile.

Alfonz was surprised when Prince Leroy said he must express his gratitude towards him. He shook his head and smiled at him. "No need to thank me, your highness. It's a rare opportunity to be with your company." he smiled. "Oh? And here I thought they serve you the most delicious of desserts there. And that brown thing they call chocolate! I've never had some and they say only the rich ones can only afford to eat them. I'm sure you've had those!"

When the prince stated his interest in the said place, he nodded. "Mhm! Of course, i'd be glad to take you there. Not a lot of people know that place. It's like an old gazebo with vines growing around its marble dome and columns... It's like a bittersweet ruin... A beautiful rare flower that had just sprouted in the middle of a clearing and there's even a river not too far from it. The clearest of water running through it!" he spoke with such passion as if it was his most favorite place in the world. "I would bring you there now if you want, Prince Leroy."

Leroy glanced to the other when he pouted, saying how he was the one to be able to have his company and be happy and everything. Hearing what he called him though, he slightly pouted "I thought I told you, please call me by my name. Prince Leroy" he said as he walked alongside the other "I don't let many people outside the castle call me that. You should take advantage of it" he grinned.

When the other started asking about other sweets and desserts at the castle, as well chocolates especially. He smiled a bit nodding his head "oh yes, of course! Chocolates are amazing...though, I suppose after having them so much I'm used to them and they're not so different or anything to me. However, I've never had anything like...like...what was it you called that thing we had? I just have to tell the palace chef to make them!" he said with a smile of excitement "Really, you've never had chocolate? I'll bring you some next time!" he said, already without thinking about it implying they would be seeing each other and hanging out more again. After all, Leroy was really quite entertained and enjoying his time with Alfonse. It helped that the male was attractive head to toe too.

He listened to the other talk about the secret place he always went to, and he smiled, looking at the others face as he talked about his hiding spot to just get away from everything. It sounded beautiful, and he was sure that the male held this place special and like a little paradise to him. When the other asked, he nodded his head a bit enthusiastically "I would love to go there now, and see this place you speak so highly of. It sounds amazing" he said with a smile, letting the other lead him the way towards the spot.

Alfonz bit his lip when he was told, yet again, to call the other male by his name. "I'm sorry, Prince Leroy." he said, slightly bowing his head. "I am really honored for letting me call you that." he sighed, glad to see that beautiful grin coming from the prince.

"I am really starting to get jealous of all the chocolates you've had." Alfonz let out a comfortable laugh since he find their conversation with food quite adorable. Seems like they both have a liking for sweets. "The dessert you had is called Anko. It's a dish adapted from the orientals. And yes, it is true. I've never had chocolates." he lightly blushed a little, and since the prince offered, he'd gladly accepted it. "I would appreciate it very much if you bring me some, Prince Leroy. I know a commoner like me shouldn't be taking advantage of your generosity. But how can I refuse to your offer with chocolates?"

As they talk, they have arrived at the edge of the town where the line of trees had greeted them. Alfonz quietly checked on one tree after another before smiling as he found what he's looking for: a simple scratched marking engraved against the tree's trunk. He turned around and nodded to the prince. "Then please follow me, Prince Leroy."

He led them through the woods as Alfonz kept on glancing tree after tree, turning to the direction where the marks lead them. "I made these markings when I accidentally discovered the place." He said, pushing a bush off his way, making way for the prince as well. "When I was trying to find my way back, I had to put the markings on these trees so I won't be lost when I try to go back... Ah. Watch out Prince Leroy." he said, stopping for a bit then backing off, as he realized they're headed for a low cliff. He turned to his left and found a descending slope as he skillfully slid down from it while just bending his knees. He looked up and reached his arms up wide. "Come. Just slightly bend your knees and slide. Don't worry, I'll catch you. We're not too far from where we're supposed to be." he said, his eyes reassuring.

Leroy blinked a bit and couldn't help but laugh at the others words "What, jealous, of me? Aren't all commoners jealous of royalty?" he snicker as he continued to walk along. It sounded a bit arrogant...well, Leroy was a little arrogant, in some aspects. He didn't mean any harm by his words though. He couldn't really help it, being the prince he was, raised the way he was. His joking smile soon turned to a slight frown as he sighed "really, there's no reason to be jealous of us though, in reality. It's a rather stressful lifestyle" he muttered, closing his eyes for a moment, before stumbling and tripping over an old root. He quickly was able to compose himself before falling face first into the dirt. Stepping over the branch he continued, acting as though it didn't happen.

"Of course I'll bring some. There's all sorts of chocolate flavored dishes too, they're delightful really. I'll bring some original plain chocolate though, it's the best" he said with a smile before laughing "ahhh, now I want some right now" he said as he followed the other through the forest as he seemed to be following an old map of markings he'd made. When they reached the slanted hill though, he blinked, just staring at it and down at the male who effortlessly made his way down the slope "You're...joking, right?" he said as he took a cautious step towards the edge "There's no way. That is absolutely dangerous, I'll kill myself!" he huffed dramatically staring at the ominous dirt slope.

Eventually, the other had convinced him to go through with it and come down, and he bit his lip nervously, inching ever so slowly closer to the slope. He tried to follow the others instructions, bending his knees and trying to slide down the slope. But Alfonse had made it look far much easier than it was. He completely stumbled and fell, his feet getting caught up and tripping, causing him to go falling and tumbling forward right into Alfonse's arms and into him, the weight of his fall knocking the both of them to the ground, somehow resulting and Leroy being on his back, with the other male above him, bodies pressed against each other and Leroy's paler complexion now a bright red in embarrassment, blushing profusely.

Alfonz shook his head and giggled when the prince refused to slide down the slope. He somehow find it most adorable. "Don't worry. It's not that bad. I will catch you, I promise." he said, his hands gesturing to come down. He smiled gladly when the other began to slowly come down, preparing himself to catch whenever Prince Leroy stumbles and lose his balance.

And he actually did. He gasped and reached up, successfully grabbing Prince Leroy on the waist but the impact was rather strong from the trip as they fell down on the ground. Alfonz groaned, pushing himself up with his arms, slowly realizing he had somehow managed to fall on top of the prince. The way their body pressed against each other felt really contradicting as he found it exciting yet highly inappropriate. Their faces went so close, he could hear the male's soft pants clearly and even see the blush creeping up the prince's undeniably beautiful face.

"Oh my... I'm..." it brought the same amount of blush on Alfonz' face as he pushed himself off the prince, sitting up. He never understood why he felt such emotions, expecially towards the prince. Maybe it's because he had lived in abstinence from ever having any form of body contact from a person in so long that he forgot what it's like to be hugged or the sort. He decided to convince himself it was just because of it and stood up, patting the dirt off his pants and held his hand to help the prince up. "I'm very sorry... Are you hurt in any way, Prince Leroy?"

Leroy had tried to put his trust in the others words, that he would catch him and keep him from falling. He was full of nerves as he went down the slope, knowing form the beginning that it just wasn't going to end well. He made a couple gasps and squeak noises as he started tumbling, falling into the other. He felt the other grab his waist to keep him from falling, but, perhaps it was the lack of expecting such closeness of a hold, and so firmly, that it surprised him and caused him to freak out a bit more, resulting in the both of them falling. He really didn't know how they both had fallen, only knowing that there they were, both laying on the ground on each other.

The prince grunted as the finally landed on the ground, and the he was a bit disoriented at first. He blinked a bit as he slowly opened his eyes, somehow with the other having held onto him broke his fall and kept him from seriously injuring himself or anything. But it was then he realized the other was on top of him, and he was blushing profusely.

As the other got up, clearly seeming embarrassed as well, Leroy took his hand to stand, brushing himself off "You'll catch me, huh? What a promise" he muttered, not actually mad, just muttering to himself to try and brush of the embarrassment with the dirt covered on him. "No, I'm not hurt" he spoke as he finally answered and replied back to the other "You're a terrible catcher, though" he said with a smirk, now teasing the other to try and hide the obvious embarrassment they both held about the situation "Catching someone doesn't do much good if you fall with them."

Alfonz felt even more embarrassed when the prince teased him about his lame catching. He slightly pouted and looked away. "I did catch you. I just got startled and lost my balance, that's all. I'm sorry." he sighed. He tried to calm down as they began walking feeling a quiet, tense air between them.

Soon Alfonz could hear the running water from the river near the gazebo. "We're almost there. Look, Prince Leroy. Over there." he pointed at a clearing ahead of them. The river was glistening against the afternoon sun and it was crystal clear as what Alfonz said. The male lead the prince closer and soon, they found the gazebo, almost camouflaging itself against the trees since there are vines with small, yellow flowers growing around the posts. The gazebo is about twelve feet tall and ten feet wide and by the looks of the marble's condition, it would date about thirty to fifty years old. As if it wasn't magical enough, the bushes that grows around it bear wild flowers that added to its charm.

"Look at that. Isn't it a beauty?" he sighed, approaching the river first before crouching down and washing his dirtied hands and face. "The water comes directly from the mountain so it's really clean and refreshing." he scooped some by his hands and drank it, sighing in relief before turning his head to the prince. "So? It was quite a travel, but it's worth it, yeah?" he grinned.

The said prince scoffed at the others lame excuses, rolling his eyes mockingly "Yeah, you weren't the only one startled. I wasn't expecting you to grab me by the waist so closely as you had" he mumbled, blushing faintly. Soon enough though, they finished their pouting and teasing of each other, before changing the subject to continue on to the others favored secret spot, that was supposedly gorgeously beautiful and amazing. Really though, Leroy was more than intrigued and interested in seeing it.

Just a couple minutes later they arrived at the spot. Before Alfonse even said anything, Leroy knew this was the spot, this was it. He could just tell instantly before the other even said anything, because of the beautiful stream running right alongside near the gazebo. Of which Leroy's eyes fell on first, admiring the grand beauty of it. You could tell it was old where it stood, the climate and weather taking a beating on it, as well as the earth climbing along the sides of the arch, tangling it in vines. Even still, it was beautiful and added a sort of majestic sort of feeling to it.

He smiled, glancing to the other "it's absolutely amazing....I don't know how you ever found a place such as this...it's gorgeous" he said with a smile, still looking around and admiring it.

Alfonz smiled, glad that the prince liked the place as much. He sighed and cupped some more water and began washing his face and arms more. He would want to take a dip because heaven knows he wanted to clean himself so bad but he can't be naked in front of the prince. 'I think i'll just wash my feet.' he whispered to himself before taking his boots off, setting them to the side and dipping his legs in the cool water, sighing in relief.

"Prince Leroy, if you want to go to the gazebo and wander around, it's fine. I'm just going to wash here for a bit." he said, scrubbing his sole against a rock. He blinked and saw his ankle tattoo and was reminded of his hometown. He also have a marking at his back, in between his shoulder blades. Too bad his markings are permanent and it could give him and his secret away anytime but he made sure no one sees them. Only his assistant, Dimitri had seen his markings when he's not wearing a shirt at the shop and he knew the boy could be trusted with such matters.

He finished washing before picking up his boots as he walked to the gazebo, now barefooted, before sitting on the elevated marble floor. He took a deep breath before letting it out quickly, his gaze went towards the prince with his still astonished expression. He had never shared this secret place with anyone so seeing the prince appreciate the place made him unusually happy. "I'm glad you liked the place. Honestly... It feels really magical just being here. Built in the middle of the woods." he smiled gently as he looked down, feeling the marble floor against his hand. "I always wonder if it's actually built for lovers who secretly meet in this secluded area." Alfonz wasn't aware that he had spoken aloud when his last phrase was just meant to be a whisper.
