BlaqueCatt
Almost every head in the grand ballroom turned in unison when the large, detailed oak doors opened with a harsh creak. The music, though not stopping, lowered in volume, fading into background noise as party attendees began to whisper excitedly to one another, each one of them eager to see what would happen next. Felinson family balls were known not only for their pleasant atmospheres and good food, but also for the many surprises that came about. And this party was exceedingly special, as the young lord Leonard had just come of age. Fredrick Felinson, Leonard's father, and his wife Margaret stepped into the room with elegant poise. Clad in a neat black suit and a fiery red dress, the couple was dressed to impress. And impress they did, as compliments were immediately directed towards them. However, these compliments quickly came to an end as Fredrick spoke in a loud, booming voice that carried throughout the entire room, the tone a true sign of a practiced orator. "Courtesy of his grandfather, William Felinson, I present to my son, Leonard Felinson, a great gift to honor his twenty-first birthday." Fredrick and his wife stepped to the side of the door. The house butler, an elderly gentleman named Richard, came forth from the hall and bowed, placing a hand over his heart. Then, with an arm flourish, he tugged on a rope in his other hand. A gasp tore through the crowd when the thing at the other end of the rope was revealed. With his knees on the cold marble floor, a young man sat by the butler's feet, his head lowered. He had skin slightly darker than the guests', and wore not trousers and a dress shirt, but a dark green garment that, to the others in the room, seemed to be some kind of dress. He had no shoes on his feet, and the 'dress' was wrapped around him tightly in the middle, held together by a lighter green cord. The sleeves were long and loose, almost covering his hands completely. To add to the strangeness, his hair was extremely long and tied back in a high ponytail. His hands were bound in front of him by the rope.
Ryouta
After an hour passed from the big ceremony that was spend by all dancing and eating stuff, famous and rich people all over the Europe were invited to to the big party of Lord Felinson and his wife for their 20th year of their one and only son and it wasn't only that! They had already prepared him a gift that he could never imagine of. After the first 60 minutes passed, everybody were invited to the next hall that were about to give the tall European male his wish for many years. He had always thought of the gift something like a princess or a beautiful girl from a rich family to be his wife. He was so excited, looking at the door until was opened, that was the time his expression changed and turned into a confused one. He could only gaze down at the boy sitting on his knees, wearing a very long dress that seemed ridiculous to Leonard. He really thought of something better but this was...He knew that he had to accept it as gift from his parents and the Japanese, short, long haired boy as his servant though he didn't know for how long he could take it. He gave his fake smile out though that was still handsome. "I will delightedly accept your gift father, thank you!" He looked back at the boy as he kicked his hands weakly with his leg. "Stand on your feet!" He ordered.
BlaqueCatt
The young man's body tensed when he heard footsteps approaching, and he, despite exercising all of his self-control, was unable to refrain from flinching when Leonard's foot connected with his arms. Despite the order given, however, he did not stand. A moment of silence passed before the elderly butler yanked harshly on the rope, jolting the Japanese teenager's figure in order to startle him into attention. "You will obey the young master when he speaks to you!" he barked. When this elicited no response, he reached down with his free gloved hand and wrapped his fingers around the ink-black ponytail. The hair was so fine and silky that his grip slipped at first, but he quickly made amendments and forcefully lifted the man's head. Dark brown eyes stared up at the young lord, one nearly covered by fringe. He stared at Leonard for a moment, but suddenly his gaze wavered and he broke eye contact. Without a word, he struggled to his feet; in truth, the act had not been one of defiance. He had not understood what had been asked of him at first. Ryouta
Leonard waited a moment and tried to give the short Japanese a little time to get used to being a servant and obey what had ordered but even after the elderly butler warned him, he didn't stand up and made really angry about this. He sighed as he kicked the boy`s hand even rougher. "I told you to stand, immediately!" He yelled thought he didn't know it was not useful since the small male didn't know English... One of the men that had brought the boy from Japan to England appeared in the crowded and came closer, told one of the guards something in his ear and asked him to tell Leonard about it. The guard agreed with a nod and walked to the rich gentleman as he described about the situation. Leonard bit his lips, now he had to deal with a boy who didn't know his language. He looked back at his father. "Father, he can't serve me probably if he doesn't understand what I mean!" He said, holding his anger.
BlaqueCatt
{For future reference, bold and quotation marks are English, and italics and quotation marks are Japanese. Regular italics are thoughts.} Fredrick sent his son a disapproving glare; it was extremely inappropriate to act in such a way while in the presence of others, and the older man thought that he had taught his son better than that. Is he really so spoiled? Ungrateful brat. Margaret placed a hand on his arm before he spoke, the gentle touch a warning to calm down. The man took a breath through his nose and kept his expression neutral. "Leonard. The Japanese people are very efficient workers," he explained. Not to mention he was cheap. "He will learn quickly, if you train him properly." The young Japanese man watched the Europeans converse through cautious brown eyes, the sounds having little meaning to him. He only recognized a few words, 'Japanese' and 'learn' being two of them. He hesitated; he knew what situation he was in, and he knew that he had to do as they told him or he would be punished. Swallowing, he spoke very softly, his eyes lowered and posture meek, "Sorry," he apologized, the word sounding broken due to his heavy accent. "I...not..." He bit his lip, unable to think of the correct word.
Ryouta
Leonard bit his lips. He wanted to talk his father back though he didn't also want people to make rumors about him being a wrong person to have his father's company. He breathed heavily ash is hands moved to behind and intertwined together. He closed his eyes to find his deep relaxation though he soon opened it when he heard the other talking with a very low, cute tone of voice like a child, apologizing to his new master. Leo starred at the Japanese human with a very serious expression though he wasn't angry anymore. At least he could feel the the other was polite enough to know that he should respect his master and feel deep ashamed and sorry for being powerless of doing what he wants. He singes to the seller to come closer and asked him to translate his words to Japanese so the other would understand him. The man agreed and after hearing the gentleman`s words. He shouted loudly the words into the boy's nation language. "This is your master, Earl Leonard Felinson! You'll be honored to be his servant and you should give your best to do anything he desires. There would be an instructor teaching you to speak English and he wants to see no more mistakes from you after this day and now stand on your feet and bow to him. BlaqueCatt
The young man's eyes widened when he heard the seller's harsh voice--the voice that had signaled pain for the past three years of his life--and absorbed the information like a sponge, desperate to do what he was told correctly so that he wouldn't be punished. He got to his feet, wobbling slightly due to his bound hands, which couldn't aid him in balancing, and stood facing his new 'master'. Master... He did not like the sound of that, and a wave of bitterness washed over him; why was this the fate he had been born to live with? "Sorry...Master." He word felt strange coming from behind his lips, and it left a strange taste in his mouth. The seller nodded with gruff approval and looked over at Leonard. "His name is Naoki." Ryouta
Leonard looked at the other`s expression and keep wondering when the face seemed not to be happy enough to have the great man of Europe as his master. He seemed to be understanding that he had to obey anyway. He bowed and apologize in his native language. He was deep lost in the way how the other looked like and how cute he spoke until when the seller talked again. He heard how the other called and it really seemed like one of those stupid names for him. He closed his eyes and mumbled the name. "Naoki..." He said as he looked at one of the guards immediately. "Take him to the mansion and give him a nice punch of clothes, also find a tutor that can speak Japanese!" He turned away from the shorter boy and walked back to were he was standing without looking at Naoki once more.
