  • 18 years of age

  • Harrington was supposedly a

Harrington was summoned by his father
    that was working in Japan.

    He was supposedly a happy-go-lucky

"Yo, how's it going there? any hot chicks?" Harrington could imagine Matthew's brows raising suggestively from their conversation.

"More like flat as board women. Damn man this place reeks of weirdness." With a grunt as he glanced at the scenery outside his vehicle. In his entire 18 years of life, never had Harrington felt so lost and appalled. Seemingly his appearance made him some kind of a freak show among the crowd of tiny people or midgets as what he rudely prefer.

When he step foot at Narita and was greeted by his ever-dearest-loving father (*note the sarcasm) he had felt that his stay in here would be the most devastating years of his life. His parenthood was adamant on forcing him to live with them in Tokyo though he had fought for his very right to stay as a senior in Florida. In the end, his attempts were futile and their decision remained fixed. This was completely a nightmare for him and no words could describe how furious and anxious he was.

"I guess it's a rude awakening for you." Matthew chuckled from the other line.

"Goddamn this shithole! I bet there's no football in here. What am I gonna suppose to do? Knitting? For fuck's sake this isn't even funny anymore." He whined like a child earning him another round of laughter from Matthew. Avery could imagine that at this very moment he's at the field doing their morning practice for the upcoming winter season. Not wanting to deepen his atrocious mood and ending up lashing everything to Matt, he ended the call immediately.

Leaning from his driver seat he heave a sigh as he stared at his new school. Harrington noticed that the kids in this school's mean of transportation were mostly bicycle and there's no way in hell he's gonna ride one just to fit in. Slamming the door of his Audi, he immediately noticed that the students stopped on what they're doing and started their mission of staring at him. Was an Audi too flashy? Now that he noticed most of the cars parked were family cars. His eyes surveyed the area as he concluded that Tokyo was way different than Florida. That's why he remembered his old geezer advising him not to bring an Audi inside the school; the results were pretty clear to him by now.

He stared at the Gakuran that's laying atop his bare hands and glanced at the students who were wearing it neatly. Ruffling his hair, Harrington whispered some inaudible cusses as he ventured the hallway.

"What the hell..." he muttered as he noticed that whenever he step forward the students seemingly step backwards from him. Avery would be damn, he could definitely be a Moses material to part crowds like that in a half-way manner.

This is definitely a whole new chapter for Avery Harrington. No groupies, no popular crowd, no hot chicks and definitely no football. Tsk. Well he'll be damned...this place is certainly a hellhole.

CHARACTER INFO:

Yuno Hazumiya

26p9i.jpg

18 years old

Living in Osaka, Japan

Currently attending Hibiya Gakuen

The sun shining, the wind blowing through his hair, the sound of the rubber tires going round and round against the pavement. This was a typical morning ride towards school for Yuno. He could have walked there but riding his bike always felt best. He enjoyed the moment of feeling as though he was faster than tine itself. It might just only be his thoughts on the matter but he didn't seem to care all that much. Upon arrival he slowly climbed off the bike and went to chain it up beside the other's.

Yuno glanced around as he noticed something seemed to be happening today. He wasn't sure what nor did it really interest him. Though he did wish to know just a small bit of what had captured the other student's attention this morning. He fixed the strap on his bag as he headed inside the building. His gaze drifting from side to side following the gazes of the others around him. It didn't take long before he figured out what it was.

A foreigner upon school grounds. He was sure this guy was a transfer student from some place far off. Yuno took one glance yet he wasn't weirded out by the male's appearance. He found it to be slightly bold and daring. His curiosity piqued only slightly but not enough to approach the male. Letting out a small sigh he made his way towards the classroom.

Avery's head thrashed curiously from left to right searching for someone who he can confide with, a foreigner just like him. But the effin' place was only filled with Japanese people and let's not forget the fact that he does not understand Japanese nor write in the first place. The Amerincan lad didn't stir well with the environment where people are talking about him in a language he could not comprehend. Avery's father had promised him to be enrolled on a class which the teacher can speak english but he must learn to write Kanji upon the request of the Head Master. That is one hell of an awful news since he has no time learning how to write strange symbols. He still believes the idea that he will go back to the U.S when he finishes high school. To the extent that Avery will fund himself no matter what it takes. The idea had driven him to divert from all this transfer crap through the day.

Entering the school building, Avery still had these effect on the girls just like when he was in the states. At least there is a little resemblance to deal with. Smiling smugly he entered the principal's office and was explained with the rules and regulations of the school. After his little tour in that office he was then ushered to his respective room. The noise from the students immediately stop as soon as he entered the room. To be honest it was pretty disturbing for Avery to stare at the Japanese coz' they basically look the same, based on his opinion.

Is this the part where he have to introduce? Well it is introduction time them.

"Um.." he scratches the back of his head as his blue orbs hastily scanned the room. He really hope they can understand him or his intro will be wasted.

"I'm Avery Harrington from Florida, pleasure." His fake smile followed as he awkwardly stared at the teacher waiting for his further instructions.

"You may sit beside Hazumiya-san." In a barely understandable English his teacher said as he pointed some guy from the third row.

This is definitely a long damn boring wretched day, he predicted.

Yuno sat in his seat as the classroom was only filled with a few students. He wasn't one for conversation and currently the talk was of the new guy. He honestly didn't see the reason for it. It was normal to have transfer students coming and going to their school. It happened more often than anything else. He currently didn't get what was so fascinating about this one. To him it was just another foreigner who would either sink or swim in the school. It how he looked at a lot of things around him.

As the classroom began to fill with his classmates, he noticed the sudden silence of everyone. His gaze drifting to realize why. He disliked having the transfer students in his class. It was always such a bother and for some reason the desk near him was always the pick. Just as he predicted this guy was placed near him. Yuno instantly avoided eye contact. He knew anyone who drew that much attention was no good. With that in mind he focused his attention out the window. He wasn't one to completely focus on class but he was never behind in the lessons either.

Avery stalked towards the seat almost instantly noticing the guy seating beside him. He wanted to greet the guy but it suddenly snapped his head towards the teacher completely ignoring him. So it's like that? Anger suddenly seeped inside him as it also fueled the stress that was acquired upon the new environment. The guy completely infuriates him, Hazumiya-san was it? He'll definitely not to be cast on Avery's good side. And there's this feeling as he glanced towards the guy---annoyance.

He placed his gakuran atop his table and sat comfortably, slouching unlike the rest of the students who were listening to the teacher with enthusiasm. They resemble robots as what Harrington imagined. The blond guy heavily sighed as his blue orbs staring at the distant sky far away from what he calls home...

The classroom finally seemed to settle down once the new student took his seat. Class was in session so everyone's attention was averted towards the teacher. It appeared the day would be like any other despite the new addition. This didn't effect Yuno one bit. His mind was drifting elsewhere and to places unknown. He enjoyed to daydream whenever he had the chance. It didn't matter the place or time. The continued as the time went by. Yuno decided to give a slight glance towards Avery. The male honestly stood out like a sore thumb.

In all honesty he would have talked to the male beside him but he was no point. He knew it would happen eventually so he saw not reason to rush it. Yuno wasn't known for being a hundred percent friendly when it came to giving first impressions. It's why he was best at avoiding it. It wasn't long before the class was over. This marked only just part of the day over. Yuno let out a sigh as many of the students in the classroom seemed to avert their attention back towards the foreigner. He found this so impressive and yet so pointless at the same time.

Avery glanced at the kid that was seating beside him. For a stoic looking guy he seemed completely in a daze to lala land. He kept on wondering what's inside these people thoughts since they always wore a poker face.

He doesn't like to adapt; never will he get used to the idea of adapting. It was even strange how the students are so quiet when the teacher was discussing. He couldn't help but compare the difference of the places; America's full of noisy brats while Japan's just quiet. It was a calm that something to be felt before the storm, Avery so thought.

The teacher did manage to speak English throughout the whole session. But it was weird for him receiving such treatment even though he didn't deserve it. Or maybe Japan was used to accommodating people from foreign land, they seem hospitable enough but kind of reserve.

Without noticing, Avery almost draw a horse as he was scribbling mindlessly. The guy can draw decent figures and it was his secret ambition to be an artist. Artists aren't highly paid and high on demand that's why he kept the idea of studying at an art school by himself. A fraction of his mind was imagining that he was on a midst of the annual Super Bowl, playing with all of his glory. But first, he needed to persuade his father to bring him back. Let's just hope he's in his best attitude for the remaining months he'll be staying in Japan.

Avery barely noticed that the bell had chimed, he couldn't even stand since students immediately stood. He was then immediately surrounded and thrown with bazillion questions.

--what the--- His eyes show a fraction of anxiousness as he immediately covered it with his cool facade. He needed to play the nice guy card, he guessed.

Yuno slowly stood up as people crowded around the foreigner. This annoyed him as he wasn't one who enjoyed crowds. He instantly stood up from his seat and slightly glared towards Avery. He made his way pass the other students and left the classroom. He headed down the hall and towards the library. He found it to be the only place he could actually think for a while without interruption. As he entered he noticed one of the regulars that are often there in the library. Yuno sometimes shared small conversations with the other. He walked in and took a seat by the window.

The male not too far off from him glanced up. "Oh if it isn't lil'Yuno. I noticed the new exchange student has ended up in your classes. So what do you think of him?" the male asked. Yuno glanced over at him. "Don't call me that Hiroshi. As for that guy, well I can tell you he won't last long here. He has this air around him like he doesn't even care to be here. Also I can tell he has such a pompous attitude about him. I already dislike him and that's not going to change. I have no doubt he will end up like the last exchange student. Stay for a two days and then run like a wuss." he said narrowing his eyes.

Something stirred inside him as he saw that Hazumiya stare at him, more or like glared. What did he do? For the couple of hours, if his memory served him right, he hadn't done anything to anger the Japanese lad. These people are like complex work of art; he didn't just get them at all or Hazumiya in particular.

Wherever he goes, he knew he can catch lots of attention. Call him narcissistic, he knew he had above average looks and girls dig that kind of stuff. So like the usual him, he played it cool and started playing the cool-transfer-student card. Avery answers their questions but vague enough not to mix something in his private life.

After saying his farewells to his classmates, he strutted towards the hallways with the students giving him space to walk. And it in fact made such an ego boost yet he'd shoved the idea and stopped himself before it drains down to his head and he starts acting arrogant.

"Oh if it isn't lil'Yuno. I noticed the new exchange student has ended up in your classes. So what do you think of him?"

He paused at the words he heard, Avery knew it was him that they're talking about. It was not in his nature to eavesdrop but he'd seen Hazumiya at the corner of what it looks like a library so he decided to listen for a bit.

Stay for a two days and then run like a wuss."

He almost laughed at the word 'wuss.' That's the last thing he'd expected to hear from some foreign land. He didn't know Avery and it irked him that Hazumiya can casually say those words.

"ouch. So much hate, I see." He placed his hands on his chest faking hurt. To hell if he was being rude interrupting their conversation, Avery just didn't cared anymore.

He's completely done playing docile with this cheeky classmate of his.

Yuno continued to talk with Hiroshi for a little while longer. Though as their conversation went on someone suddenly interrupted them. His gaze noticing exactly who it was. He narrowed his gaze to look at the foreigner. "Don't waltz in here like your actually offended by my words. What do you want Mr. Foreigner?" Yuno asked him with a smug attitude. He wouldn't hide the fact that he had little to no interest in being nice to him. After all he was sure that Avery would be gone in less than a week. So getting to remember his name was a waste in his mind. Hiroshi looked at Avery with an observing gaze. He was more just trying to figure him out. So for the moment he wasn't saying anything.

In this moment he was sure his idea of Avery was becoming no better. Now he could add eavesdropping to the list of things he had just said about the other. Running his fingers through his hair he remained silent. Slowly averting his gaze from Avery to his book. He wanted nothing to do with the exchange student other than sharing a classroom.

Complete disappointment coursed through the American boy. He never was the kind to stereotype but this Japanese kids are starting to piss him to a point of no return. His eyes were smoldering blank as he'd immediately shut all of his emotions. Though in all honesty he kind of felt dejected that the boy hated him for unknown reason. Avery didn't dared answer Hazumiya's question, instead he shrug and left the place. He skimmed past to the crowd of people without greeting them and proceed to the highest place of this establishment. Even if it means destroying the door just to get to the top or something.

He jog towards the secluded area and situated himself at the place beside the water tank. The orange skies cast a captivating shadow and glow all over the place. Scratching his head, he fished his Iphone from his pocket. A small smile draw from his lips as he captured the nice view from the place. He took a couple of shots at the vast skies before he sat down again and plug his headphones. A warm feeling surge through him at least it replaced his anger and disappointment. His eyed the free birds forming a triangle as they flew through the horizon.

---it is not a bad place after all..

Hiroshi looked at the male leaving. He then turned to Yuno beside him. "You have to be careful how you talk to others. It's why you have so little people around you. Also your always in the center of fight." he said to him. Yuno rolled his eyes while closing the book. "I don't need a lecture or to be told such things by you. After all you don't have any friends besides these books in here. I'll be leaving first." he said placing the book on a shelf and leaving the room. He headed down the hall curious as to why things seemed so quiet. Yuno smirked a little to himself. In his mind he had guessed that Avery had long left in just one day. That was like a record time for a forienger to leave the school.

He had nothing else to do for the moment so he headed to the music room. He enjoyed listening to the teacher play classical pieces. He was often asked if he had wanted to try for himself. It was something that crossed his mind but he always refused. Yuno prefered to listen than to play for himself. At least it's what he alway says to avoid having to pick up an instrument.

Was he just too cool to fit in with the clique? That was not even the case at all. He's completely lost in the hordes of society who doesn't fairly welcome people who're different race to begin with. Sighing Avery noticed CoCo playing in his cellphone and chuckled as he answered the phone. Ethan, his best friend did literally tweaked his own ringtone. His buddies didn't fail their mission to check with him every now and then. He felt loved in a weird manner. They seemed fussing about his transfer and whatnot.

--- Avery, my maan. What's up? Ethan's hoarse voice boomed from the cellphone as Avery inched away from the device.

--- Everything's peachy, E. His eyes glanced at the seemingly music room on the third floor with someone playing a soft tune.

Their conversation lasted for an hour before Avery called it a day as he saw the night slowly spreading its darkness. He slowly walked away from the building, his eyes darting at the students who were on the baseball team. His spirit seemed to be crashed knowing that there's no football field within the vicinity.

Upon arrival to the music room the teacher was on his way out. He left Yuno there to wait for his return. While waiting he sat in front of the piano and poked at the keys a little bit. He looked around to be sure no one was around. He then started to play a small piece that one could tell if they knew about classical music. It was simple and short as he didn't want to be caught actually playing an instrument. Glancing out the nearby window he knew school would let out soon.

Yuno gathered his things as he headed to leave. While walking among the man different students he happened to noticed the new guy leaving as well. He didn't bother to say anything to him so he silently watched before going over to the bike rack. He unchained his bike and let out a small sigh. He slowly began walking himself with the bike at his side off school grounds.

After entering the safest haven inside his car, Avery slumped at the steering wheel. There were lot of things brewing inside that simple head of his. And let's start at that guy riding at his bike. His glassy eyes stared at the monotous and grumpy guy who had caught his interest quite well. For a guy he does have quite good appearance; not that he was checking him out though.

How long can he endure staying at that god-forbidden place? Was it really necessary to shed some tear in front of his father so that he could be shipped back to America? The blonde knew quite well that they were cut in the same cloth and that idea was likely impossible.

He continued slumping at the steering wheel and drown all his wearies by closing his eyes.

Yuno would have preferred to ride his bike home yet it appeared to have a flat tire. He knew this wasn't the case when he had arrived to school that morning. However this was normal to find at the end of the day. He was glad it wasn't tacks in his shoes. That was never one of the pranks he had gotten use to. After all stepping on tacks hurt like hell. As he walked he wonders about the new guy. He had never directly acted so coldly towards a foreign exchange student before. His objective was to always avoid. "Damn it. This isn't like me at all. There's something about that guy though." he started to say to himself before smirking a little. "Maybe he could prove me wrong. That would make for something worth wild."

Yuno's journey ended as he arrived home. His house as quiet as a mouse. He made sure to silently close the door behind him and remove his shoes. This yet another routine of his.

lol sorry, i kinda missed it. Damn it.

Avery arrived at their penthouse with a sticky note that his father was away to a place named Hokkaido. That was also the reason why he did not like the idea of going with him in this place. He was always busy and nowhere in sight. Not like he complained about it before since he was so preoccupied with his circle of friends. Who was he kidding? There's no one who he can talk to at this place. Sure his friends would call him but it was still different conversimg to someone in front of you. He should have put up a good fight of not leaving. Even his passport was not in his hands, this should be kidnapping, he thought furiously.

He grudgingly slumped at the off white comfy couch as he busied himself with his laptop. Avery wasn't the type to back out from food. Yet even in his famished state he ought not to eat, he lost his appetite.

The male immediately typed omegle.com., he loves the site secretly. Since he loves to be anonymous and mess other people in the internet.

you are now chatting with a new stranger. Say hi!

Avery heave a sigh as he waited for a response, he suuure was bored as hell

Sighing softly, Yuno made his way towards his room. The place rather pin point clean. There wasn't a single speck of dust to be found. He had so much time to spare that keeping his room clean was like a hobby in itself. He sat down on his bed feeling rather tired from his day. The first thing to pop into his head was the new student. He didn't enjoy having new people around. It was worse when they were foriengers. It was as if they never tried to understand this place or learn something new. He was sure tomorrow there would be an empty seat without fail.

After a moment of sitting there in thought he got up to turn on his computer. He wasn't very good with people face to face but online he was different. He could say he had a lifetime of friends even if he had never met them for real. He felt more in tune with them than anyone he knew in the real world. Once the screen loaded he logged onto a site he was rather new to. To Yuno's surprise someone was online.

agent_red just greeted you.

that's it, i'm subscribing this thread. crap. I always forgot to reply on this.

He shook his head at the disappointment hoping that there's a chick willing to take his bait on omegle. But it was a prince so it's most likely a male. Damn. Avery stared at the clock that didn't even dared budge despite him surfing the net.

Whatever. He just needed something to pass time. It's not like he didn't have an assignment but he didn't like answering it in a least bit. Youtube and other media was out of option, Avery was just bored beyond further comprehension.

Swiveling his chair he started typing his reply.

Agent_Red: sup. How are you?

The moment he'd enter his reply was the moment he felt disappointment at his stupid words. There's no way in hell a teenager uses kind of sh*t like that. But it didn't matter with the American lad, he really hoped that the guy or whatever specie behind that username's willing to communicate with a bored high-school boy.

Yuno sat there for a moment wondering if this person would reply back. When they did he smiled a bit. He wonders what kind of person this was. The reply made it seem like he might be conversing with an older person. Even so he decided to respond. At first he didn't want to reply too seriously but then again it was how he was at times.

Agent_red replied

rose-prince: I am doing just fine. Such a lovely day out. How are you?

Slightly tilting his head, Yuno smiled a little. He always found joy in online talking. Somehow he felt more noticed by others and even heard to an extent. "I suppose the internet is perfect for someone like myself. Highly glad such a thing was invented." he said to himself.

It was a head start, that moment when Avery and that prince chatted. They chatted about the minimal likes and dislikes then down to their goals in life. It was kind of different when talking face to face. Avery felt that this was the best moment to tell a stranger his difficulties in life. Starting from the fact that he was forced into this country by his father down to his dream career on joining the NFL playing the annual Super Bowl.

The anonymity was a plus factor that he could easily share his aspiring dreams down to his greatest fears. Tough luck, sharing a secret to a stranger might be nice than sharing it to your group of friends. Close acquaintances might hold it against you while a stranger obviously forgets it once he's off the chat.

Simple, it's like a journal that can talk back to you.

Yuno could tell this was actually the highlight of his day. He found talking to this person to be relaxing and rather fun. He didn't mind talking about the various topics that came up. As he knew if it had been someone he knew personally, the possibility of his words getting out was enviable. Since this was a stranger that didn't seem too likely. As time went on, Yuno felt himself growing a little tired. "I wonder if I would get to talk to this person again tomorrow." he mutters to himself.
