gin
WHEN THE HUNTER BECOMES THE HUNTED a private roleplay of E.r.o.s & gin He was a hunter I was his prey... He was the Aggressor as I was the Oppressor. He was a Human while I am a son of the Moon "Mine..." The word ricocheted inside my eardrums. As strife between our kinds continue; its a matter of time when the hunter becomes the hunted..... Instead of inheriting the Alpha position, he had acquired the ability of Pyrokinesis which concludes him as an Elder. Kreuz is notable for his strict jury, wisdom and unparalleled strategic planning. He's always labeled as the man who has a stick up his ass (which is quite a normalcy for Elders). Other: As much as wolves love running into the woods, Kreuz prefer to stay at home and sleep. He had a diary which he insists to be labeled as a journal.

October 21, 2014 -----, We conquered the WoodBlades Pack that was located in Southern Italy. Our territory had expanded a couple of acres. It infuriates me that Kohl doesn't listen to my tactics. It'll lead to his downfall if he continues to do so. My strategies are flawless and there's no way it's gonna fail by now. P.S : I spotted Randalls naked baby pictures. Blackmail material* I close the leather cover of my journal looking bored like the usual. I didn't even notice that Alpha Jacobs was with me inside the room. The old man was busy calling and running his pack through the phone. My unkempt hair kept dangling and stabbing my eyes. I really need a serious haircut, not that the hobo-feel bothered me anyways. Turning towards the huge mirror beside my cabinet, evident wrinkles neatly covered my forehead. Kohl was definitely behind this never-ending stress. Being the Elder and the brother of an Alpha was quite a difficult task to balance knowing that he's such a rebel and most of the time an IDIOT. And plus the fact that there's an evident Scowl plastered in my face. Imagine me looking innocent and sh*t would the pack members believe anything that I'm gonna say!? Then there's Kohl when he was having a meeting with the pack. I've known better, behind that strict facade lies an egoistical twenty years old twat who happens to sleep together with a stuffed animal (not that a 24 year old owner of a diary has much to say). Unfortunately, our opinions mostly clash but that doesn't mean I'll lose--the perks of being an older brother of course. Really mature. "Oi Kreuz, we're gonna hunt some shit-- I mean some deer." Kohl rephrased his words as he noticed that I had a company with me. "Alpha Jacobs, how are you?" I snickered at my brother's attempt of being civil which earned me a glare. "We're doing great Alpha Kohl. You should visit us sometime." Alpha Jacobs replied gleefully. The old man was definitely sunshine and rainbows. Apparently, he's too old for that shit. My chair swiveled behind as I notice their casual exchange. I might not be joining them since their conversation were always trivial enough. "Hunters are getting nastier and brutal with their ways. A couple of my pack members have perished by their ruthless cause." Sadness filled his eyes as he somewhat reminisce an attack that happened in his pack. "We have eliminated lots of hunters but this unethical humans kept on multiplying like a cockroach." Kohl added. I couldn't agree less, no matter how we tried to eradicate them they usually appear in a short span of time looking healthy as ever. We couldn't also hide the fact that were completely outnumbered by them. "..apparently their new target are Elders." The last word caused my head to snap at their direction. Noticing my sudden attention, Alpha Jacobs continued, "It's true that Alpha's are also their priority but let's not leave the important truth that Elders are their first and utmost priority." "Why'd you say so? Alpha's lead the packs not the Elders." Khol glanced at my direction searching for my reaction of hurt . "Point taken. What's their motive?" I had already something in mind but I just need to clarify something. "Have you forgotten that Elders and Alphas are equals regarding their strengths. We Alpha's rely in our werewolf abilities but Elders can have their powers without shredding their skin. And that's the power they're trying to investigate--more like experiment. " Alpha Jacobs glanced sideways from that expression of his, their elder might be a captive by the hunters somehow. "Elders are rare compared to Alpha's, I kinda figure their motive. So you think hunters can capture my brother?" Kohl questioned but ended up laughing. Alpha Jacobs gave a look of wonder as to why my brother was laughing. "The idea was preposterous!! Kreuz? Captured? HAHA till' hell freezes over." Clutching his stomach he boisterously laugh. I admit that I might be stronger but let's not forget that hunters are famous for their cunning nature just to get what they want. A rueful smile escape my lips. I guess we came into an agreement this time. Yeah right, till' hell freezes over...
E.r.o.s
I've been in South Italy for two days now, orders from headquarters. According to my boss, there was another territorial fight incident in this location and as the only one with notorious free time, I was chosen as the hunter to lead this investigation. As excited as I was to finally be able to get some action, the mission itself was extremely complicated and a pain, not to mention that my very life was at stake. As part of a group of special agents, our true objective wasn't only the werewolves, but their Elders. For strange reasons, the Imperial Office of Criminal Investigations aka the Hunter Association, had taken a sudden interest in this special and rare type of werewolves. The problem was that nobody truly knew the identity of these men nor how to find them. For months, these agents have been pursuing them blindly, with barely any real clue, jumping into every fight that comes their way in hope one of these Elders is there or at least in hope of finding a lead to them. All that was truly known is that a few of them took residence somewhere in Europe, which wasn't much of a lead. Also, even if we somehow in a whim of luck were able to locate one, there was still the pack and alpha protecting them to deal with. Not matter how you look at it, this was a suicide mission. Although, I was clearly aware of the risks I was taking, somehow...I still accepted the mission. Unfortunately, I didn't had much of a choice. The old man aka my boss, been wanting to get rid of me ever since I started as a hunter in his division. He had been sending me into every mission possible and had been obviously surprised every time I managed to make it back. That shitty bastard. Because of that, I've become the only relatively new hunter in my division with an impressive amount of S-class missions. Although this might look good when I am getting hired, the old man took advantage of it to send me into missions like this one, making sure I wouldn't be able to refuse. He also assured headquarters that no one else in his division was as experienced as me with S-class missions. A sigh left my lips as I remembered the other reasons why I had accepted this ridiculous mission. Once again, I almost got my hunter license revoked. It seems I had somehow managed to destroy several properties in the last mission we had. I recognize, that every time I am fighting my hunter's nature takes over and I go berserk, however, I really tried to keep the damages to a minimum this time. It had been that stupid werewolf's fault, why did he had to hide in the damn city? Werewolves usually preferred isolated places, so I was surprised when I found myself chasing him into the city. Of course, that didn't kept me from swinging my scythe a few times....Well, it couldn't be helped. The man was escaping. It would have been more dangerous to let him roam around and attack some innocent bystander. The cute waitress approached me then, bringing me out of my thoughts. My new residence was a small motel a few blocks from the cafe I was currently eating at. Even though I got paid just last week, I couldn't really afford a hotel or anything too fancy. I had to pay a few debts and the paycheck this time was rather low despite my huge efforts and the complexity of the mission. Sometimes I wonder if this job is worth all the sweat and blood I put into it. With my stomach finally full, I began to go over the details of the mission in my head. So far, all I had was a map to the actual location of the fight and instructions to look around for any clues that have been left behind during the encounter of the two packs. According to the old man, this time someone managed to capture one of the werewolves. He was currently being kept at headquarters for interrogation. He assured me that as soon as any information was found, they will send me a message...but it has been two days already and no news. I am guessing that the werewolf either refused to say anything or accidentally died during the interrogation. Werewolves were usually very loyal to each other, it wouldn't surprise me if he died without saying a word, but that meant we were back to square one. I passed one hand through my blonde hair roughly, my eyes narrowing in annoyance. Finally, I stood up and decided to head to the place. I picked up a large and heavy package that was leaning against the huge glass windows of the cafe, paid my bills, and headed out. As I walked down the streets, I noticed a few people glancing at me and blushed. It can't be help I am this attractive right?! I wish, but most of the glances were probably directed to the heavy package that was resting against my back. Unfortunately, there was no saying when I was going to be attacked, I had to be ready. A taxi stopped in front of me and I grinned at the driver. Quickly, I stepped in and gave him directions to the outskirts of the city. It didn't surprised me that the location was a forest. Werewolves usually avoid getting involve with humans, which leave me once again to think that the werewolf from last time was acting strange. I pushed the thought aside for a while, and simply observed the city from the window of the taxi. Took us about thirty minutes to reach our destination. "Over here is fine" I said to the man as he parked right outside the entrance of the massive forest, and handed him the money for the ride. I waited till he left, then finally made way inside. The fight had taken place deeper into the woods, so I wasted no time in getting there. I could see when I had reached the right location because of the evident claw marks all over the trees. I glanced at the ground and noticed no one had bothered to clean up the traces of blood left. Carefully, I leaned down and touched the blood with my fingers. It was still fresh as I expected. My eyes narrowed and I looked ahead of me seriously, my eyebrows coming to meet at the center of my face in a scowl. Carefully, I followed the clues in an attempt to track them down, my hunter senses in alert. There was no saying if any of them was still around, or if any had come back to clean up the mess before we could track them down. Unfortunately, werewolves were smarter than they looked. "Well, dogs are smart after all, it's not surprise these ones are too." I said to myself out loud and chuckled. Despite the danger I was in, my body was trembling with so much excitement at the thought of a fight, that it almost made me wanna cum in my pants. gin
"Alpha Jacobs, I know what you're planning to do. Saving your Elder will be a suicide mission." My eyes remained still at the long mahogany desk while the other Alpha stiffened at the subject. The attack did happen in Southern Italy and it'll be just a matter of time that the hunters can locate the Crimson Moon's head quarters. There's one reason why we kept conquering other packs; and it's solely for protection. Not all packs are strong enough to withstand the malevolent attacks of those hunters, they aren't equip with proper materials to protect themselves. Then the plan was soon established and the strategies are then organized. I understand that it might be cruel depending on their retaliation but it's only for their best interest. We couldn't afford to lose our family to those lowlifes. When we conquer a pack, their pack names doesn't need to be changed nor their beta's and alpha's to stoop down and surrender their positions. All they have to do is open their mind links so we can exchange information and respect a greater position more or less respect the Alpha of Crimson Moon which was Kohl. Some might not like our cockiness and our oppression but we had to inculcate in their minds that our plans are always for the better good. There's only half a year left for the whole packs in Europe to unite and establish a stronger defense that hunters cannot even destroy. For this godforsaken world, for many centuries that passed by; these humans labeled us as monsters. Humans, when they couldn't comprehend something, always concludes it as a threat. Us werewolves are obviously shunned for our strange monstrosity. We're not human's yet we're not wolves. Though we had the ability to think and a conscience to follow for us to detour our kinds towards the path of being savage we are still capable of intelligence. We might be different yet we still have the judgement to know right from wrong. That's the fact we wanted to relay to them. Some of our kinds, the rogues, might not contain one but they are lost with their own battles, lost by their anger and sorrow. Rogues are lawless creatures just like a human prisoner is to their country. But who am I to tell? they're completely fixed to their ideals that we're to be killed. All we have to do is to keep vigilant at all times. If it will come into a situation where we have to retaliate, then we will kill their kind for us to protect ourselves. "Kreuz." Escaping from my thoughts I saw Kohl standing in front of my desk. "What?" annoyance obviously lingered in my expression. "You think the old man will listen?" Kohl was referring to Alpha Jacobs who soon left after what I've said. "He'll die, Kohl. So can we please drop the subject?" My cold eyes greeted his warm ones. My brother definitely inherited our mother's compassion while I inherited our father's callousness. "Stop with the idea that you can save him Kohl. A man that is fueled with anger is as good as dead. Now, I think there's a hunt that's waiting for you..." I added while guiding my brother towards the door as he seemed reluctant to leave. "It's really a shame for Alpha Jacobs. I really tried convincing him Kreuz but he's dead set on his plan on taking revenge. I guess I agree let's drop this subject. It's definitely a mood-kill." "Want to come with us on the hunt?" He asked though he knew what my response will be. "I have something to do in some place." I answered vaguely while maneuvering myself to the garage as he followed behind me looking worried. "I don't like the idea of you leaving this place." "Then don't. You might be the Alpha but I'm still your older brother." I give him the noogie then rode on my Audi R8. I started to rev the engine and drove away from the mansion before he starts to nag like a mother . The Vandergilt's are far different from wolves who prefer to seclude themselves into the forests. Our place was located almost inside the heart of Deutschland as it was best to blend in with the crowd of humans. The Vandergilt's have been residing at this mansion for almost hundreds of centuries. Proudly, not one of those measly hunters can locate ourselves.
E.r.o.s
"This is where the trail ends" I said out loud as my fingers touched the remaining of the werewolf's blood on the ground. My eyes were fixated on the crimson liquid and a small scowl of frustration made its way through my expression; to anyone else it would have been cleared that there was a bit of anger in my gaze. Tracking a moving object at the speed werewolves could move was practically an impossible feat. Unfortunately, werewolves were also able to jump on the trees avoiding footprints to be left on the ground. Slowly, I straightened up in disappointment that there were once again no useful clues as to the whereabouts of the pack or the elders. There was also a bit of relieve in my mind at the thought that I would get to possibly live another day. I was about to head back when a strong wind suddenly blew on my face, altering my hairstyle and brushing away everything in its way. A few leaves landed on my hair and I brushed them away in annoyance. From the corner of my eye, a strange marking on the ground caught my attention; it seemed to have been covered by leaves that had been moved away by the strong current. My body turned on its own to further inspect it, and the closer to it I got the more I convinced myself that it was a werewolf's footprint on the dirt. During my years of experience, there were more than several occasions in which I had encounter such evidence. Also, during my hunter training, professors had specifically made emphasis on making newbie hunters memorize their description. The footprint of a werewolf was an animalistic version of a human's foot. It was considerably bigger than the average human sized feet and its toes extended at far greater lengths. Most of its length was covered by sharp as razor claws whose tips were very pointy. Their shape could also be considered a version of a wolf's paw but much greater and elongated. There was no doubt that the foot mark I was examining belonged to a werewolf. Despite myself, a large grin was displaying on my lips showing my perfectly white teeth, and I had to get a grip of myself not to tremble in anticipation. It seems I'll be having some fun today after all. Once again, I wasted no time in searching for other footprints that were bound to be hiding somewhere under the rocks and plants. Surely after about an hour, I found myself staring at an abandoned werewolf's camp. Unfortunately, the whole place was empty, without a single soul left to defend it of an attack. Without a doubt, the pack had relocated in time. Carefully, I took several steps forward, my eyes moving over the quickly assembled tents and then settled on the fire that had been clearly put out not too long ago. These guys must have been a travelers pack that were unlucky enough to bump into the local ones. Based on the fire, the ones that managed to escape probably didn't make it too far. If I hurry, I can probably catch up with them. There were trails of blood indicating that some of the members left had been injured, and this further reassured me of my capability to capture them. I glanced ahead and hesitated. This was new territory for me as well as for them. The forest was immense and werewolves clearly had an advantage over me under these circumstances. The odds of leaving this place uninjured were very low for me at this point. Meanwhile, I had no idea what was happening at one of the branches of headquarters about this time. _______________________________ South Italy- Branch of Imperial Office of Criminal Investigations "Have you heard yet? There are rumors between the officers that the werewolf they captured during the last mission is going to be moved to the main headquarters in England in two days time." One of the officer in surveillance duty commented to his companion who didn't looked too surprised at the news. "Yea, I expected as much. Don't repeat this to anyone, but I heard that this time it was an Elder they captured" The other officer replied and heard in satisfaction how his companion gasped in surprise. "No way. You mean one of those werewolves with special abilities of some sort? How did they managed to capture that thing?!" The other officer couldn't believe what his companion was telling him. Everyone knew that an encounter with such creatures meant death. "I don't have the details, but I heard the man was quite old and injured when they captured him. This must have weakened him and aid the hunters. Still an impressive deed." The other man nodded in agreement at this new acquired information. The next question was obvious. "Who was it that captured him?" His companion's eyes widen in admiration and he grinned. "I heard it was Heinz' group. I also heard he single handed the whole thing and that his group was simply watching." The other man shook his head and laughed at the rumors. "That's impossible. No hunter is that strong. They are probably exaggerating." The other man shrugged and continue with his explanation, forgetting his duty as he focused on the conversation. "Who knows. But for sure, if an Elder was captured indeed, it's a smart decision to move him. Our branch can't possibly defend against a whole pack while trying to restrain an elder. Having that thing here is too dangerous. Right now, he has probably been placed under special sedatives to prevent him from using his abilities, but who knows when that thing is gonna woke up." The man explained to his partner in all seriousness, and the other man couldn't help but agree with him.
gin
My brows knit together as I drove 190 kph in the secluded highway towards the northern forest. Elder Nomaris being captured could endanger our lives. Our identities, strategies and information were absolutely at risk once they've commenced their experiment to the elder. Torture wasn't the option since hunters had other ways to find some information without hurting the wolves physically. The scientists in their institution had an unstable sadistic streak which I pity Nomaris would experience for a while. For a while means a couple of hours, if it means that I'm gonna fly there just to rescue the elder. Those hunters have planned relocating the Elder, that's wise of them. At least I'm two , wrong, three times step ahead of them. Messing with us is as good as a moth caught in a flame--well literally in flames. I dared not to say to Kohl my intentions or he'll forcibly imprison me inside the silver basement if needed. He was quite a worrywart despite his trust for my strength. As I clearly remember there's only one hunter who'd single-handedly kick the old man's butt. A hunter on par with an elder, I see. That fact had struck the best interest in me. I will see to it that the vehicle carrying Nomaris wouldn't reach its destination. Their headquarters happened to have the highest security and I couldn't risk my identity and flaunt them towards a bunch of hunters. I stepped on the gas harder pushing the engine to its maximum kph as I boosted some Nitro. I better perform this stunt while I was still in the border crossing of Frankreich Deutschland. The trees turned into a blur as I immediately halt as my vehicle swerved causing the tires to screech. Slowly parking my vehicle and detoured at a small road, I rushed and stripped my clothes closing into transformation. I welcomed the shifting of my structure; furs slowly appearing, claws starting to sharpen and teeth swiftly elongating. In all fours, I surveyed the area, a huge brown wolf with crimson eyes replaced my seemingly human standing there few seconds ago. The feel of the wind made my hackles rose, welcoming the new form with ease. I needed to lose the tracks from here that's why I've decided to park at this muddied area that ended up my Audi completely dirtied. Tracks are harder to find on mud and I was cautious enough not to place paw prints as the mud slowly slime its way. My paws immediately thudded at an incredible speed as I tried to memorize Nomaris' scent. The scent couldn't be ascertained at this far and they're obviously heading North, all I needed to do is intercept them with stealth. Numerous thirty minute breaks followed by hours and hours of running was all I needed to achieve in order to catch up to them. I have to admit that the strenuous activity did tire me but the mission to rescue Nomaris was still important than my aching paws. Finally reaching San Marino, I slowed my pace and strolled within its forestry. Hunters preferred roads which wouldn't cause much attention to the civilians. I lowered myself, head above my paws, watching the vehicles that passed by like a predator. Saving the damsel in distress sucks like big time; Elder Nomaris should definitely give me two years supply of beer for saving his ass. My ears perked up as I immediately caught his scent, a low growl escaped my mouth before I returned to my human form. Elders cannot obviously uses their abilities when they're in Wolf form and that's one information that can't be passed to the hunters at any cost. Us Elders have lot's of weaknesses but I'm in no time to elaborate them. We might be stronger and on par with the Alpha's but there are lot's of weaknesses entailing the power behind. Spotting the huge hummers and black SUV's slowly lining up with a huge truck-like metal vehicle on the center, I slowly walked towards the crossroad. With a snap of my fingers, the first hummer ahead slowly combusted into flames followed by the rest. Well that one's peachy. Alarmed hunters slowly stop their vehicles and get out aiming guns at my naked figure. I didn't have the luxury to carry my clothes due to time constraints but who the hell cares about my appearance. These hunters in front of me are about to die. "Put your hands up in the air!!" The seemingly in command shouted, I can hear his heart rate. Well someone has been nervous, I smiled smugly. I obliged slowly raising my hands while I eyed the huge track that was probably carrying Nomaris. I don't have time to dwell with this, I can smell a civilian vehicle feet away from this area and I dared not to injure them with this lame battle. "Death is what to be offered for the idiots yet fear not." With a whisk of my hands their bodies was immediately engulfed with blue fire. Blood dripping on my nose, I ran towards the huge cargo thinking that I shouldn't overexert myself. These dumbasses didn't even calculate that there's an Elder going on a single mission to save the other Elder. I yanked the thick door of the vehicle causing me to hiss with agony. Damn, these bastards are always relying with anything silver on it. Ignoring the pain, I prepped open the door and immediately saw Nomaris in a straight jacket secured tightly by silver restraints. The poor man was wired with different strange apparatuses as I saw his pale complexion. These bastards! I slammed my fist towards the silver walls causing it to dent deeply. Untangling them with care I glanced at him, slapping his face softly, "Elder Nomaris..wake up!" His heavy eyelids opened but then closed as his consciousness was fading away. From the beat of his heart, his condition was worsening and he needed to be tended quickly. Securing him with my hands I placed him gently at the cold ground and turned again. I slowly nudge my muzzle and guided him atop my back. This is gonna endanger me big time, that I knew beforehand. Bringing with me a wounded Elder and with my front paws wounded from the silver I lifted earlier. Well I'll be damned. --verdammt!! scheiße!! I stated inside my head. E.r.o.s
A few hours after I headed out from the camp in pursue of the runaways, my cell phone started to vibrate. My eyes settled on the path ahead of me, a small frown starting to form on my face at the interruption. I couldn't waste any more time! But I knew better than not to answer. Not many people had my cell phone number; I didn't had that many friends that could call and the hunter association kept all their employees' files under lock and key. Whoever was calling, most likely had an emergency. My feet came to a halt and I stood in the middle of the huge forest searching for the annoying object who kept persistently ringing very closely to my manhood. I opened my pocket and wrapped my fingers around the technological devise, finally yanking it out. My devise wasn't last model or anything. Although many smart phones with thin structures and a hideous numbers of application had been invented, I had chosen to keep my old model. It was a small blue cell phone, the type you flip open and call, and it was pre paid. There was several reason for this besides being old fashioned and the need to keep some money out of my paycheck. Smartphones usually had GPS, and if someone needed to track me down, it wouldn't be too difficult to locate me if I am carrying one around. Without further dwelling, I flipped the screen open and stared at the caller ID. The call had been from a number that was not in my contacts, but based on the extension, I knew the number to be associated with the hunter association. I returned the call and waited patiently for someone to pick up. After a few moments of consistent ringing, a voice from the other side answered. "Hello!" Whoever had picked up the phone sounded agitated. There was a certain urgency in their voice that made me have a bad gut feeling. "Hello. I was called from this number just a few moments-" I couldn't finish what I was saying because the other person (now I recognized their voice as that of a woman) interrupted me. "You must be one of the hunter that were sent here on a mission. The South Italy branch headquarters have been attacked. We were asked to contact all hunters available in the city at the moment. This is an S-class emergency. You must abandon your current mission and come here immediately." The woman was trying to keep her voice as calm and casual as possible, but the anxiety in her tone was clear. I didn't needed to be told twice. "I'll head out immediately. I will be needing directions on how to get there." My voice had toned down an octave as I reassured her, my feet already moving quickly to the opposite direction of where the pack was heading. Can't say I was thrilled at the idea of letting the runaways escape, but whatever was happening back at headquarters was surely more important than a few dogs having their way. I knew one more hunter was not going to make much of a difference. Most likely, there was already a group there putting things under control, but I couldn't defy orders. I listened to her directions on how to get to the facility, and quickened my pace. _____________ It hadn't taken too long for another group of hunters to reach the facility. It consisted of five men total; two who looked identical (probably twins), a rough looking one with short black hair and one black eye (the other one covered by an eyepatch), a small scrawny guy with greenish hair and extremely sharp teeth, and finally a tall and handsome long haired man with yellowish eyes. The group stood at a distance, not making a single move and simply watching the scene unfold in front of them. Even from where they stood, the loud sound of the alarm could be heard. The group simply glance at their leader who seemed disinterested in the matter and in deep thought. They had been celebrating the results of their latest mission near by when their cellphones had gone off. They all protested when their leader had ordered them to get moving. There surely was another group that could take care of this. They all thought so but knew better than to say it out loud. Their leader on the other hand, seemed very interested in a certain individual he kept eying. His predatory yellow eyes followed the werewolf's movement as he attempted to escape. Unconsciously, the man licked his own lips. Having encountered an Elder before, he had no doubts that the naked (and exquisite) man trying to play hero was another Elder. The thought sent thrills throughout his body and he could barely restrain himself from trembling. His hands tighten on his own arms, causing his sharp nails to break into the skin and draw some blood. His group members noticed their leader's excitement, and simply smirked. Whoever the man's prey was, they were dead meat. "Jean" Their leader called out calmly, his eyes still lingering on the battlefield. One of the twins stepped forward awaiting orders. The man didn't bothered turning around and simply gave his instructions. "Stay here shooting your arrows, the rest of you, come with me" He was already moving as he said this, and his group followed suit not even questioning him for a moment. "Yea! We finally get some action!" The one with the sharp teeth shouted as they moved out. The group moved through the mass of burned down bodies and destroyed vehicles, a small smirk playing on their leader's lips. He sure did quite the number here. The man's eyes settled on the officers surrounding the two beasts. Nobody dared move closer but their guns were pointed at them ready to shoot if necessary. The hunter rolled his eyes and continued to walk forward mingling with the officers. The one with the sharp teeth kicked an arm lying on his path and grimaced in disgust. "Stinks in here, lets finish this quickly so we can get out of here" He complained and followed the rest. "Would you shut up already! This is a mission. Stop behaving like a brat." His companion, the large man with the eyepatch reprimanded him. The scrawny one simply hissed and continued complaining. Their leader ignored the commotion behind him and continued to move in the direction of the two males. Some of the officers around him gasped in recognition as their eyes took in the emminent figure, others simply stared in confusion. "You can't get closer to them! They are not humans! Stay back!" One of the dumb officer shouted but the hunter didn't bothered with him and finally came to a stop at a fair distance of the two Elders. "Shut up! Don't you know who that is?!That's Heinz! He was the one who captured that powerful werewolf last time!" Another officer scolded the newbie and the crowd simply watched. But all of this commotion went ignored by the man in question, whose eyes were glinting with the mere thought of fighting the Elder. Heinz raised his hand calmly, his eyes watching the two werewolves in a condescending manner. From a distance, Jean had seen the signal from his leader that he had been waiting for. He quickly grabbed the bow on his back and an arrow with it, then aimed. Jean's arrows weren't normal. Their heads had been made from the hardest silver and then had been dipped into wolfsbane; a special plant used to poison werewolves. The edges were so sharp that they could cut through anything. He took a deep breath, and waited till his breathing evened out to finally let the arrow slip through his fingers. The arrow cut through the air faster than any bullet, and didn't stopped till it finally made contact with a solid surface. "Hello, my name is Heinz" The hunter finally said, his eyes showing a dangerous glint and his voice full of amusement. Slowly, a sick grin made its way across his lips and stretched widely. ______ Meanwhile, our blond hunter was heading there in a taxi. gin
I tried to mumble cusses as my paws landed heavily at the land. The birds and the other animals inside the forest were too quiet for my liking. Stopping at my tracks, I turned my head around sensing someone maliciously looking at me. The presence was not still there yet I can feel it was ominous. Elder Nomaris was still out of it and if he would happen to be caught with our fight, he'll soon be good as dead. That's why I called the Woodland Pack beforehand, it was pretty handy at times like this. An estimated run of about an hour and I obviously doubt that those hunters haven't called for reinforcements. It's a matter of time before they catch u--- SWOSH.. I've seen the arrow released from the hidden enemy at the tree directed to Nomaris' exposed back. It was just an effin' second that I let my guard down for thinking something and here they are attacking shamefully. Afraid it might be the old man's last life on earth I somersaulted and skidded at the bushes on the right. A low growl escape from my mouth as I felt a sharp sting on the side of my stomach. Shit. This is not good. Wincing at the pain, I slowly stood while staring at the enemy ahead. They were starting to multiply while surrounding me. My guard was up as I counted the enemies. Pissed that I couldn't use my powers in this form, I let another lethal growl while slowly backing at the enemy. Wolf's bane was even infused with the arrows, how desperate of them, I see. A silver arrow laced with wolf's bane might render a wolf immobile but definitely not me. It felt painful as hell, but it was bearable enough to take another escape route. This foolish humans had delayed us for quite a time and I'm certain the Kohl was panicking here and there. A wolfish grin was eminent at my face as I remember a fuming Kohl. Orbs with such depth stared at my crimson ones, the man standing at the center was obviously the man behind this pursuit. He carries himself with such arrogance that is fueled with his experience of no bounds. One sniff from the air and I knew that he wasn't human. The guy was a specie that I didn't even encounter before and it had stricken quite the curiosity from me. "Hello my name is Heinz." His voice was calm yet full of authority. A feral snarl escaped from my throat giving him the look of 'fuck-off-like-I-fucking-care-who-you-fucking-are' . Due to my werewolf blood I just couldn't calm and the fact that they're delaying me good time increased my anger by tenfold. My chest puffed in confidence as I rammed the nearest hunter in front of me. My canines immediately snap his neck as I throw him in front of his boss. Claws digging at the soil in a repetitive manner as my eyes glowed in crimson red. The death of their comrade made their blood boil as they started to retaliate. Good. I like them angry as they immediately lose their reason. Giving a mental snicker, I bashed the tree with my body causing it to fall towards their direction blocking me from the hunters. One thing I had observe was the leader not lifting any finger. Goosebumps seeped through my fur, it was disgusting the way his malicious eyes were observing me like I was weaker and he could kill me if he wanted to. I wanted to wipe that poker face of his but there's still much things important than that. The other hunters tried to attack me but I didn't fought with them. Instead, with all the force left with my system I dashed away like a reindeer. No comedy intended but I could feel they're still pursuing me but I ran in a bee line manner making sure they couldn't follow me right away. They were far enough for me to reduce my pace. An entourage of wolves greeted me as both parties stopped at the cliff. Shifting in my original form, I carefully handed Elder Nomaris to Alpha Jacobs. "Thank you very much Elder Kreuz, I don't know how to express my gratitude to you. Though I'm definitely dead meat, your younger brother will definitely kill me." "Ignore the overly attached brother. You had your promise Alpha Jacobs, two years supply, capisce?" I earned a couple of laughter from the rest of their pack. "K, enough with the talking, I have hunters on my trail and I need to go. This'll be an installment of your payment. " Grabbing the clean white shirt and cotton jogging pants from their Beta John. It was really nifty of them to prepare some clothes. "Are you going to be fine? You're pretty injured, we can still take some cover." The old man really never gets old with his caring nature. He knew my answer that's why he handed me a small bottle with herbs. That was Elder Nomaris' specialty, an herb for an illusion. Smiling wryly a waved my left hand, "I'm not going to lie, the wolf's bane hurts like a bitch but I think I can still manage. Gotta go and good luck. Don't die on me, old man." With those words I jog away from their group and snap the arrow while on my way back. The injury prevented me on running as the arrow's poison slowly ran to my system. Heavy breathing, I stared at the sky as blue fire started to form into a figure---a phoenix. My favorite creation would keep them away from me. --ten minutes. Before the Herb of illusion would expire, it was a small head start. I took my chance and weakly jog away from the place....
E.r.o.s
"That bastard is leaving!" Heinz watched with sullen eyes as his prey got away. He would have wanted to enjoy his company for a while longer, after all, one doesn't come across such an intriguing opponent every day. His eyes followed the werewolf as the beast ran, till he could no longer see him. He had been so excited about making the wild beast submit to him, that he had completely forgotten to watch its movements. Still...to be able to move with an arrow across his chest...really impressive. He gets more and more interesting by the minute. The man's tongue slid across his lips as if he were savoring something, very slowly and hid once again inside the cavity of his mouth. "Dammit! He even took out Kazu! We should go after him! What do you say Sir?" His companion's voice seemed to bring him out of his thoughts. As if having forgotten till mentioned, he glanced nonchalantly at the body of one of his teammates on the ground. The man was lying peacefully on the ground, not a single movement from his body. Heinz listened closely to confirmed what he already knew. There is no heartbeat...he really killed him. Instead of grieving over his dead comrade, the man couldn't help the amusement filling his yellow eyes. He continued glancing at the man on the floor, forcing a grin to disappear behind his poker face. He would have to taste of such power! Magnificent.... "Sir?" One of his men interrupted again. The team was raging and ready to set out, they were just awaiting their leader's orders. He was so fast I couldn't even see his movements... The toughest looking one thought as he remembered the way the werewolf had suddenly attacked. He had been prepared, they all had, but the beast had been too ferocious and gone in the blink of an eye. His eyes glanced at his dead teammate. There were claw marks all over the body and a pool of blood surrounded him, the sight wasn't pretty. May you find peace... "If we keep waiting, we won't be able to catch up!" The one with the sharp teeth finally complained. They all shot him an annoyed look but inside, they all agreed with him. At this, Heinz's eyes settled sharply on him and the brat swallowed with difficulty, finally quieting down. "Go" Was all that Heinz ordered before his group set out after the two werewolves, however, he knew it was in vain. For some reason, he hoped that the two men would get away, simply because he loved the thrill of chasing them. Now, show me just what you can do. It's not fun if you die too early.. He thought while his eyes settled on the path in front of him, his expression unreadable. Around him, everyone was in complete chaos or long gone after the two beasts. Heinz sensed someone approaching the scene, and didn't need to look to know who the strong presence belonged to. A handsome male of black hair approached his leader. His eyes settled on the ground for a moment, and he restrained himself not to gasp in surprised. Lying on the ground was a man with a face identical to his, but his eyes were closed and he wasn't moving one bit. Jean's gaze met the other man next to him, but he dared no say anything despite the turmoil of feelings he was managing to hide so well. Heinz was the one who broke the sudden staring war they had become engaged in. Very calmly, he approached the man on the ground and picked up his body effortlessly. Without uttering a single word, the hunter made his way back to the facility. Jean was still for a moment, till his feet moved on their own to follow their leader. ____________ Once inside the facility, the two men made their way to one of the lab rooms. Neither of them turned on the lights, instead Heinz walked over to one of the tables and deposited the body of the other twin on it. "...Was it that beast?" Jean spoke, finally over his initial shock. His face showed no emotion, no despair for his lost as he asked that question. "If I say it was, would you go after it and bring it to me?" Heinz replied, his face hidden in the shadows, and his voice low and stable, not any different from usual. "I'll kill him and bring you his dead body" Jean said between clench teeth, his eyes letting out a bit of hatred. At that, Heinz laughed a bit. He finally turned around to face his young companion and caressed the boy's cheek ever so gently. The boy blushed at the soft touch, his eyes meeting the entrancing yellow ones once again. "That won't do Jean. Killing him would be too easy. Don't you want revenge? Don't you want him to feel the same pain you do? You must bring him to me..I'll make sure he pays for his crime." Heinz reassured the young lad and didn't gave him room to speak as he finally closed the distance between them. "Sir Heinz..." The boy whispered in the mist of the silence. The man fisted his hand in the youngster's soft strands of dark hair, pulling him closer to clash their lips together in a heated kiss. Jean didn't complained or pulled away, he simply accepted the welcoming warmth of the man he admired. Before long, pieces and pieces of Jean's clothing were scattered around the room, and the echo of loud pants and moans filled the lab room. About that time, another hunter was heading their way. A certain blonde who seemingly always arrived late. ___________ I glanced at my cellphone impatiently. The call had been made about 30 minutes ago and I was still not there yet. Who knew the facility was so far..Now I understand why people are so fixed in having a car of their own. My eyes settled outside the window, glancing at the path we were leaving behind. The area was just one big road with a few curves, but everything around us was forest and huge trees. The driver of the taxi I got on was an old man. He didn't talked much, and seemed very calm as he looked ahead of us. He had the radio on and was listening to the news. All of a sudden, something the speakers were saying caught my attention. "The following roads are closed due to an accident.." My eyes widened as the woman speaking mentioned the road we were on. The driver glanced at me through the mirror, hesitating on whether to keep going or just go back. I could see the confusion clearly on his eyes, but I had no time to waste. "Keep going plz...as far as you can...and quickly..I must get there" I said and he nodded silently, then accelerated. My teeth clenched in frustration and I laid my head against the glass window trying not to punch something. I was brought out of my thoughts when my eyes caught glance of a figure attempting to cross the street. It had come out of nowhere and we were about to hit it. Quickly I sat up and shouted to the old man. "THERE! WE ARE GONNA HIT IT!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, and somehow the driver managed to completely rotate the steering wheel to the opposite side. My body landed harshly on the back seat at the impact, and my head bumped against the glass window causing me to pass out. Everything in my sight suddenly turned to black and I have no idea what happened afterwards. I just remember waking up a bit later, to find that the car had somehow hit one of the trees to the side. With blurry eyes, I glanced at the driver to see that the old man was also unconscious and that the side of his head was bleeding. I tried to reach out to him but my strength was giving out. My body bumped into one of the broken doors and it opened letting me fall forward. Before blackness took over again, I thought I had seen the shape of a body...no..an animal..maybe.. passing by...but I couldn't keep awake any longer. gin
My eyes remained focused at the road ahead as the assailants had been put out by the phoenix I had conjured. October 22, 2014 --, I was on a running spree. Later did I realize that it would change something in my life. Literally. This journal is sh*t. But I needed this, I always will. P.S : no postscript needed -kreuz They say that important moments in your life would always go into an overdrive turning it into a slow motion which apparently doesn't apply to mine. It happened with a BAM* as I covered my face with both of my arms to protect myself from the impact. Another human failed and trapped in a misery because of my carelessness. I thought the roads were blocked how come there's a speeding vehicle within the vicinity. My wolf scenes were completely useless because of the wound and I considered myself royally screwed. Bracing myself at the impact, I opened my eyes looking at the vehicle that was covered with smoke. I made a dash towards their direction. If you thought cars are gonna explode, then not in this case as I slowly grab the handle of the wrecked Honda Civic. My mind almost stop at the sudden scent of pines and mint. I completely froze for a couple of second. These strange vibes, these incredulous rapid palpitations. --No. I shook my head in disappointment as I step backwards from the vehicle. But it was too late, my eyes had then glued at the blood-covered blond who was riding shotgun beside the probably dead driver. He just got some minor wounds compared to the dead driver. --Mine... My inner wolf almost yelped with joy as it tried to shove me back in the background. It took all of my power to gain the reigns back, steadying my breathing on the process. "And here I thought I was fucking mateless!!" I ruffled my hair messily earning a growl from my inner wolf. I don't want this! My heart was torn between celebrating for my new found mate and rejecting it because it was a freaking hunter! Of course he was!! The wolf spirits really do love giving me damn challenge which I couldn't even put my mind into. I can sniff from him the blood of my fallen comrades. It was troublesome---HE was troublesome. With all these thoughts, I mindlessly pulled him gently from the ruined vehicle as I stared at him. --Take a picture, it will last longer. I can even imagine my wolf snickering. Don't get me wrong, me and my inner wolf are one being. He was me as I was him, though when I'm in my other form he's mostly closer to me. I strip down my clothes and tied it in my legs. There's no way we're gonna stay in here, not after those hunters chasing me like a goose laying golden eggs. And by saying we, I decided to bring this hunter with me, trying to erase in my mind the whole mate thing. My wolf was trying to scratch from inside as he felt the hunter's flesh as it touched its fur. --Don't pound him... don't just don't I clenched my canines fighting back the temptation of marking him as mine. Going on a detour was the only option left as I started to slowly jog at a slow pace minding my wounds. It was a forty-five minutes of running as I arrived at the hospital. An hospital where a werewolf owns. The hunter needed to tend his wounds as I was going to tend mines. If I brought him in a place aside from a hospital, it would arise some suspicions. Hunters might be an expert at hunting werewolves but not wolves when they're in their human form. Collapsing almost instantly at the doorstep of the emergency room, I tried to focus my unsteady gaze at the white robes who were fussing to approach us. And then it was all black. | Kohl Vandergilt's POV| I kept on speed dialing at my missing older brother as I needed his opinion regarding the rogues and the hunters. Later did I realize that he wasn't even planning to attend late on the meeting. Instead, he completely ditched it which was completely strange and a first since he usually arrives on time. He obviously didn't forget it since he wasn't even the overlooking type. The guy completely brings with him his planner. Kreuz was the epitome of a control freak. An hour then turned into three then into a whole twenty-four hours. Now that I've remember, he seemed to be sketchy about the way he said that he was going out for some stuff. I tried calling our Beta, Ryans but he didn't even noticed Kreuz in the city. The puzzle just fit itself, that bastard had outsmarted me--again! I was supposed to be his younger brother yet why am I the one who worries about him. I hurriedly typed Alpha Jacob's number. With half an hour of persuasion, the Alpha admitted that Kreuz did a little crusade of saving the latter pack's Elder. A hurriedly sped away with my car as I heard another call from our Uncle that Kreuz admitted himself in there. To be honest I wasn't even surprised that he was severely wounded. For a tactical man, he sure is an idiot for not asking the rest of the pack's help. I found Kreuz bedridden with a oxygen mask, he was pale as a paper. Uncle Reyark said that he'd got wolf's bane and silver in his system. They fortunately took care of them but Kreuz's healing ability had took a drastic turn. The bastard probably used lot's of his Elder mojo. Uncle did mention him bringing a Hunter. I glared at the hunter at the other room beside his. What in the world is that doing in the room!? My rage started to rise as I stared at its weak stake. I was tempted to enter that room, snap its neck and laugh maniacally. "Better get this fucking filthy thing before I add a decent whole in that chest of his." With teeth clenched it took all of my effort not to transform instantly. The nurse just lowered his head while Uncle Reyark tried to calm me. --You better give me answers Kreuz My eyes turned into a dangerous shade of yellow as I patiently--no scratched that; IMPATIENTLY waited for him to wake up.
