Sora was startled that the other was able to talk, but something was amiss. The elder didn't talk like the way he used to. He was more menacing than before. The male didn't feel safe, nor did he want the elder to kill off Kaoru.

"And why not? He's trying to hurt you, to kill you right here. Why do you want me to stop him from doing so?"

 

Sora looked at Sei with sad eyes filled with sorrow and despair. "Why do you want to kill him though? I don't care if he's trying to hurt me. I consented to him doing so and you have no right to budge in." The looks in Sora's eyes says no, but the fiber of his being screamed yes. Yes, because he had been through so much just with one person destroying his life.

"In my opinion, I don't think he deserves to live, Sora."

 

The more the other screamed, the more panic the male got. He hated the other, he wanted to beat the other to a pulp and yet the male found himself wanting to protect the other. "Sei. Please stop!" He paused. "I don't want you to kill him. It's beca-because.." Sora came to an abrupt stop. He didn't know what to say. What was pitted in his head wanted to tell Sei and yet doing so would reveal his darkest secret.

Sei narrowed his eyes at Sora, snarling softly. "But I haven't." He twisted the knife again with so much force that his brother had to bite his lip to kerp from screaming. His face turning pale, his eyes glazed over with held back tears. Why was this happening? He truly lost his senpai. Not to his demons, to the serum. He lost Sei because of himself. And now he was paying for it, in the most painful way imaginable.

 

"I have every right to budge in, Sora. You have no right to tell me I shouldn't have I fucking say."

 

Suddenly, the mutant grabbed Kaoru by the hair. Throwing him aside in favor of grabbing the younger boy by the collar of his shirt. The elder's face was filled with a turmoil of emotions. Expression twisted into anger and insanity, and yet, his blacked out eyes- though also filled with rage, held something else. Something that was hidden amongst the dark color and beastly desires. "Why don't you want me to kill him? Why do you want me to stop?"

 

Sei was more than confused; he was also hurt. Why was Sora forgiving Kaoru, after all he did to both of them?

 

For a split second, his eyes widened before narrowing again. A growl that vibrated off the walls, rumbling in his chest at the thought. It can't be true, but....he had to make sure. There was no way that theory would be correct. "Unless," he said between clenched teeth. "You care for him. Truly care for him with all your heart." His hold on the shirt tightened. "You wouldn't do the same for me, I'm just a beast. A fucking monster.that you never loved!"

 

He was quickly losing his mind as the seconds ticked by.

His eyes were filled with a sunset rage. Something along the line of a golden orange in hue. He was breathless, unable to utter a sound. His heart torn in two. The male was baffled. The other’s actions were expressed louder than words. It was an intent to torture and kill like a lion playing with its meal. Sora couldn't handle it anymore, he wanted it to stop. It was all a horrible dream and he wished that he could wake up at any moment.

 

When the younger male looked up at the elder's face he was completely emotionless. This was something the male was not used to. It saddened him. His once beloved senpai was not there anymore.

 

He didn’t want this. The tangled mess that Kaoru got him in. His senpai’s experimentation going in disarray. It was semi amusing in the beginning, but now the love rectangle just got deadly. Sora neither on the winning or losing side. He was smack dab in the middle.

 

Sora licked his lips, expecting it to end. The elder continued twisting the knife deep into the other. Sora clenched onto his chest. ‘Vampiric mutant,’ was on replay in his head, ‘Was this some kind of twisted game the other was playing?’

 

“Kaoru.” The male started. “Make this stop!”

 

He thought that the other was immortal. Even Tyler said the same thing. The male wasn't sure anymore. The elder kept twisting the blade, almost like squeezing the juice out of a lemon on a juicer. Blood gushed out like a stream. "Ssss..." The male gasped at the sight of blood oozing over his body and down his waist. Blood splatter also got on his face.

 

He paused for awhile and then wiped away the blood from his lip, almost outlining his lips in an erotic manner. Sora then, moves his hand from his face over towards the vampiric mutant male. His eyes teared up, feeling the pressure of hidden tormented secrets catching up to him.

 

“Sei I-”

Kaoru was panting on the ground, slowly sitting up as he looked over at the two. This wasn't what he wanted, he just wanted Sora to suffer like he did. And in the end, he'll still have Sei. But this was what happened instead; his senpai turning insane to the point of no return. "I....I...c-can't," he gasped out as a response. He wasn't sure how to calm the elder down at all. "He's....g-," the man paused to cough. Lips now stained red. "Gone...only....y-you can...stop...it." He was healing, but at a slow pace.

 

Sei was still growling in Sora's face, wanting an answer. Was he really that blind? Did he think this human would care for him? It was pathetic to say the least. This wasn't fair, none of this was! The younger male was suppose to be his and his alone!

 

And....yet...

 

The beast's growling lowered as he watched the other outline his lips with blood. Obsidian eyes watching in peaked interest. He didn't even let the other male have time to finish his sentence as he smashed their lips together. Wanting to taste more of that sweet liquid. But, it wasn't Sora's. He could tell; the taste was sweet in the slightest. In pure frustration from the fact, he bit the younger male's bottom lip. Drawing more blood for himself.

 

Sucking on the bottom lip as he loosened his hold. The sound of loud growling lowering to a low rumbling purr. Kaoru watched as this went on; he hoped that Sora will come up with some plan to clam down the elder. Because he was sure the blood wouldn't be enough.

 

Despite him being a vampire mutant, he was weak compared to Sei. The other being something more, what the other mutants called an animal from the depths of hell hidden within a human. Something so unimaginably strong and dangerous that he was almost used in war.

 

"So-...ra...make him for...get. Do something...before....he stops...," he whispered out. But the beast didn't seem to hear him at all. Caught up in his own insane thoughts to pay attention.

 

Sei moved his hands to thread them through Sora's hair. Why didn't he want him anymore? Why was he protecting Kaoru from him? Did everything they went through, everything they said to each other, mean nothing to him anymore? The beast was confused and angry; he wanted to know why damn it. And it was frustrating that he couldn't figure it out at all.

 

Did he do something wrong? He was just protecting him; caring for him like anyone else would. What was so wrong with that? Or...was it because of him being 'this'? This...animal? He broke the kiss, their faces just inches away from each other now.

 

"Sora....,"

Sora was taken aback when the other began to talk. He could tell that the vampiric blood was going into effect. The other was slowly healing.

 

'So it must be true? He must be imm-'

 

Before the male could react the mutant grabbed him and rammed his lips against his. The fresh blood from the vampiric mutant flowed its way into his mouth and danced on their interlinked tongues. It was bitter to say the least thought the younger male. But the kiss was nostalgic to him, bringing back the memories of when they had sex.

 

Sora began to weep as he tried to push the other away. "Sei I-" But then at the corner of his eye he noticed the immobile mutant trying to catch his attention. The other was pointing at his senpai, trying to make what seem to be a stabbing motion. The male didn't know what to make of it other than he knew he had to calm the elder down.

 

The male could only make out what seemed to be.

"So-...ra...make him for...get. Do something...before....he stops..."

 

He nodded and pulled the elder in. His lips were sore from the eariler lip bite and he curled his bottom lip into his mouth and bit down. Blood gushed out. 'For love,' the male thought. 'If my blood could calm him down, then so be it.' The two locked lips for what seemed like eons.

 

[shortly afterwards]

Sei looked back at the male with sadden obsidian eyes staring at him.

"Sora...."

 

The male remained quite. It looked as if the elder was slowly regaining his memories. So the younger male started, "Sei I-" The male was hesitant when he tried to confess to the elder.

 

"Sei, I was raped by Ka-" the male stopped. He couldn't continue. 'Maybe it was a bad idea after all?'

Sei looked down at Sora with hooded eyes, black eyes glazed over and practically glowing. The other kissed him back; so was he wrong? To some odd extent?

 

But then, why was he crying? The low rumbling in his chest was still present as he looked at Sora with a confused expression; like he was the biggest puzzle in the world. One that he was willing to figure out, even if it took the rest of his life to do so. To him, it would be worth every second, every minute. He rested his forehead against the other's, still purring.

 

But, it came to an immediate halt. His body going ridged at what the younger male was trying to tell him. All the while, Kaoru was now leaning against the wall. Eyes widening at what Sora was trying to tell the elder. Of all the things he could do to try and calm the beast down, that was the worst idea ever. "Da...mn it Sora! Don't-!" He stopped when Sei turned his gaze slowly towards him.

 

Shit, he was screwed. Even if he could heal, he was sure senpai wouldn't stop for him to recover.

 

Before the man could react, he was pinned to the wall by Sei. "YOU DID WHAT." The beast's voice was like a roar that made the walls around them vibrate form the intensity of it. Kaoru was cowering away from the other mutant, trying to get hid bearings.

 

"Se...sei...it was in the p-past....it-." He was cut off when the elder actually roared this time around.

 

"THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING."

 

He was going to kill him, Kaoru just knew it. The mutant was going to kill him over, and over again until he's satisfied.

The purring of the elder male came to a forcible halt, the male was trying to come clean to the other. He wanted to tell the truth, but when the other stopped dead in his tracks and pounced on the weak vampire hybrid. Sora knew he screwed up. His intentions were to come clean. In all honesty he, himself, didn't recall the events that happened when Kaoru raped him. He knew what came back to him and it was like something, no, someone was suppressing his memories. The male wasn’t even sure if he was who he said he was or even if he exists.

 

Minutes later, more like a second, the identical beast that Sora tried so hard to suppress came back. This time the beast’s intent was to kill. No mercy. A soft mur escaped the male’s mouth. It was like a terrified little child emerging from the very depths of his being.

 

“Sei. Stop.”

 

And with no more hesitation than that, the most gut wrenching words escaped Sora’s mouth. “I’m not.” The male paused, “I’m not yours..” He clenched on his chest.

 

When the two mutant stopped, then looked. He knew it was his chance.

 

"Sei.. It's over."

Sei heard a soft whimper coming from where Sora was, turning his blacked out eyes in that direction. He was scaring him; but Kaoru took advantage of him! Touched what was his. So why? Why was Sora so scared of him if he never caused him pain? However, he remembered when he bit into his neck. Drinking his blood like he would die if he didn't. He moved back, away from the hybrid in favor to look at the younger male better. He wanted to say something, anything really. Though, everything stopped at what the other said.

 

Why does he want him to stop? He really was scaring him. Slowly, he moved towards Sora. The growling stopping slowly as he got closer. He needs to fix this, to make the other male feel better. Anything to get that look off of his face. To have him smiling again.

 

Then, all movement stopped. "w-...what?"

 

No....he was joking. Right? He had to be. This....this...

 

The dark shadows in the room started to slowly cover his body inch by inch. Kaoru knew what this was; he was going to run. One advantage Sei has, was that he could move through dark places really fast. Teleport, really. But, only when there were shadows.

 

"You don't....love me?" The elder's voice was broken. The insanity that was once laced in it disappearing completely now. "You don't want me anymore?"

 

He was silent for a few seconds before he growled. "I SHOULD"VE NEVER TRUSTED YOU WOULD!" Then, a burst of air went through the air as the shadows quickly covered Sei's body. Then, he was gone.

 

The injured man slowly stood up, holding the gashes on his body as he healed. "What the hell did you do?"

The rotors inside of the male's brain slowed, then came to a complete halt. Guilt clouds billowed around the still air. For what seemed like minutes happened in seconds and then puffed the elder disappeared being engulfed into the shadows. The male's knees buckled. And with no more fanfare than that, the male let out a deplorable howl penetrating the vampire mutant's eardrums. Sora fell to the ground.

 

He immediately turned his head towards the mutant male and zoomed in on the other. "It's all your fault. You. I was trying to protect you." Sora screamed, glancing about.

"This time I think I lost him."

Kaoru looked with slight shock at the howl the other made, wincing when it painfully pierced his eardrums. What was he so distraught about? Sora told Sei he didn't want to be with him, that it was over and officially breaking the elder's heart in more than a million pieces. And now, his senpi was gone. There was no way of finding him when he disappeared like that; he was very unpredictable.

 

Kaoru gave other a look that said how much he believed the other has lost it. "My fault? Well let's see," he started in a bored tone. "I wasn't the one who told the one i loved the most, the one who needed me to help him escape his demons, that i didn't belong to him and that it was over. Now did i?"

 

"And you protecting me resulted in never finding Sei again." The man started to head towards the door. Starting to feel better. "When he moves through the darkness, it's only when he feels trapped. Broken. So, finding him is like trying to find dinosaurs in this day of age: impossible."

The younger male immediately gave the other male a dirty look. "Shut up. Don't go comparing his disappearance with some Jurassic Park movie." The male shouted, at least that's what he thought. The elder's disappearance reminded him more of Lord Voldemort's Goblet of Fire entrance, the difference was Sei disappeared into the shadows than that dinosaur spew the other concocted.

 

The Botany and Biology student working in the science department was now situated directly across the mutant male from a diagonal angle in the room alone, he shivered from fear.

 

He stood before his opponent in the dark blood stained room. Sora sense of animosity intensified. He would have been at ease if had he been stationed with an assault riffle at least. The thoughts swirling above the male's head. He grinned. It couldn't get any worse, he thought. A part of him knew that he was doomed from the moment the elder hightailed out of there, he was now a sitting duck.

 

It was more like he was going into a war with spoons than anything else against a vampire mutant. The male felt sick to the core. Since the male had skipped breakfast that morning and a few mornings before, the male felt like he was gonna keeled over soon. He barfed.

 

"Just kill me now."

Kaoru looked over at Sora, rolling his eyes. Either way, in his opinion, the elder was gone. And chances of seeing him again was slim. About 0.1% of a chance. He didn't know where Sei could've gone, actually. The place he use to hide was long gone. Along with the burned down lab they mostly grew up in. Maybe he went somewhere that made him feel safe, but the man knew he wouldn't be able to find it. They've been apart for years.

 

He raised an eyebrow at what the younger male said, smirking as he stalked towards him. "What's the matter, Sora? Now that you realize that senpai isn't here to protect you, you rather die?" He was only two feet away.

 

"You know, killing you would be the most satisfying thing I'll ever do. Well, apart from taking away your innocence in the past." Kaoru's smirk widened as he got closer. "But, I'm not going to kill you. Have no reason to now that Sei's gone. Instead, I'll let you live. And have nothing but what you did slowly kill you from the inside. Driving made. And, hopefully, suicidal." Then, he walked away. No longer holding his wounds, they were already healed.

 

"Have fun," was the last thing he said before leaving the room. Starting a new hunt.

Sora stood there as he watched the other in the room stalked forward.

"What's the matter, Sora? Now that you realize that senpai isn't here to protect you, you rather die?"

 

He couldn’t help but to laugh. They were in an old laboratory building, nearly wiped from its inside after Sei ravaged through the place like a hurricane. It didn’t matter that he was there nor did his life matter anymore and Sora stood there shrugging his shoulders.

 

“I don’t care anymore.”

Shouted the male in agonizing pain.

 

Of course the male was bluffing, what else could he have done? He pushed away the elder, the one that he truly loved over some rape story he barely could remember about, it was like someone planted those memories in his mind and the very mind that shrieked in fear. He pushed away the elder in an attempt to protect Kaoru. Why did he do that? Was something that even the male was not even sure about, because the moment when he saw the elder plunged into the very being that was Kaoru, he instantly remembered the last thing Tyler said to him, a promise that was made.

 

“Please protect Kaoru.”

As he walked off into the sun kissed void in the recollection of his dream. The male was even amazed at how he could recall things after his mind had been wiped of selected memories.

 

'You can only remember what he wants you to remember.'

It was then that the male realized that Tyler had been controlling his memories like some kind of marionette. It was like Tyler was somehow trying to protect Kaoru through him. When he dug his hand into his pocket, looking for something, anything that could help him call back the elder. He felt the X-Acto knife that he had used to disintegrate the mutant minion, that was Tyler’s clone.

 

He looked back up at the other as he awaited the confrontation, but what was said to him wasn't something he was expecting.

 

"You know, killing you would be the most satisfying thing I'll ever do. Well, apart from taking away your innocence in the past. But, I'm not going to kill you. Have no reason to now that Sei's gone. Instead, I'll let you live. And have nothing but what you did slowly kill you from the inside. Driving mad. And, hopefully, suicidal. Have fun.”

 

The moment Sora heard those words his knees buckled and gave weigh. He immediately fell to the ground. He watched the other leave the room and not even trying to utter a sound. His body trembled in fear over the loss.

 

 

He probably waited for what seemed like an hour at most before he even tried to make an attempt to run, because the male wasn't even sure if he was still alone in the building anymore.

 

The male managed to leave the building and headed back to the elder’s place. When he got there, the place was just as he remembered from a few nights before. He walked through the place canvassing the rooms in hopes that the elder came back or at least left some kind of clue about his whereabouts.

 

When the male got to the bedroom, he was a ball of emotions and slumped over the adjacent wall and then he heard a soft nimbled clank. When he looked down, it was the X-Acto knife that he still had from the earlier confrontation. He bent over and picked up the shiny metal tool and took a look. The handle, the angle of the blade was perfect in every respect and the perfect tool to finish the job. Then, with his right hand, without any hesitation, he slit his throat.

Sei was curled up in a ball, his mind kept replaying everything Sora said. Only making his sorrow worse each time. He knew he should stop this; this longing. The other told him that it was over, that he wasn't his. And yet, he still hoped that it was a lie. That Sora was just saying that because.....well anything really.

 

'You really think he will still love us after what we did? After we murdered Kaoru and attempted to kill him?'

 

He curled even more into a ball, realizing even more how idiotic he was being. But even after he tried to kill him the first time, he still stood by his side. But, was it out of shear fear? Fear that he would be next, that he would kill him? That seemed like the only logically reason Sora would do that. It made sense. Sei lifted his head from its hiding place, one eye was black while the other was a dim color. One that could be considered as yellow.

 

'He never loved you, he was just using you. No, he pitied you.'

 

The mutant whimpered as he stood up. Running his hand throughout his tangle hair. It was getting cold outside, and he didn't want to be out in the open. Jumping off the roof to his place ,he hanged from the ledge with one and and used the other to open the window. He climbed in, everything was quiet. Eerily so. But, it didn't bother him. It was only a reminder of how alone he was now, something he was use to before he met Sora. It just showed how much the other changed him. It hurts; it really does.

 

Feeling dirty, being covered in blood, he walked towards the bathroom. But, something started to feel off as he neared the place. Goosebumps began to rise along his skin as he got closer. Then, he slowly moved the door. Only to have the wind leave his body and for him to fall to his knees. "S....so-." He grabbed the other, voice shaking.

 

'You did this to him.....you killed him.'

 

No....

 

'He's dead because of you..,'

The blade slit into the very flesh of the male and slivered the male's ability to breath. The male got what he wanted. He wanted to end his life. After the male's first love Tyler died, the male vowed to live a fulfilling life. But what is a fulfilling life without the one that you love? The male asked. It was comical really.

 

'Can I really do this?'

 

"Yes.."

 

The blade started from the male's left side and ended at the right. The deed was done. The male fell to the ground and soaked the carpeted floors with blood.

 

'Goodbye Sei. You were the one from the very beginning.'

 

The male gasped for air, unable to move his body. He felt a nudge on his shoulder and then the male took his last breath.

Sei nudged Sora again, but when he heard him take his last dying breathe, that's when he started to realize. He couldn't stop loving him, he didn't care if the other pushed him away from either fear or rejection. He still cared forms him. Pulling the body closer, he looked at the wound on his neck.

 

'Maybe if you didn't leave, then he'll still be here.'

 

Picking up his lover's body, he carried him to the couch. Gently setting him down on the cushions as his body shook with the sorrow he do desperately tries to hold in.

 

'Everyone seemes to always get hurt around you..,'

 

The mutant was trying to think of something, anything to get Sora back. He looked at the others slit throat, an idea immediately popping up in his head. It was far fetched, but, he had yo try. Needs to.

 

Biting into his hand until he started to bleed, he held the dripping hand over the cut. Some of the liquid dripping into it. Maybe, just maybe, if he mixed his blood with Sora's, he would live again. It had to work, otherwise, he wouldn't know what to do. He can't die exactly, and he didn't want to continue living with his lovers innocent blood on his hands

 

"Please, Sora.....don't leave me."

Right when the male took his last breath he heard his name.

'Sora..'

 

The voice was faint. It was almost like someone was calling for him, but who? Who was there waiting for him? The male was alone at the time when he was alive so why would anyone else be there in his time of death?

After a few brops, he moved his bleeding hand away from the wound and to his side. Eyes still trained on Sora, still filled with hope.

 

'Please work. You can't leave me, not like this.'

 

Sei waited, and waited. That hope still burning inside of him. But was soon dying down as time passed. Was he too late? Was this idea all for not? No, he has to keep waiting. It had to work...right? He wasn't going to live with this. He doesn't really think he can to be honest.

 

'No.....please work.....please,'

[10 minutes earlier]

 

The male laid there. He was not moving. This was because the male committed suicide just moments earlier.

The throat appeared slightly slivered, with minimal, if any, signs of imminent death. The veins, too, seemed normal when the male held the younger male and laid him down. He inspected the male’s throat. It was by some miracle that the male showed up just seconds after the suicide. What drew him there was the strong smell of blood. With his stalkeresque personality he followed in pursuit. He was like a vulture looking for its next meal.

 

But most important, it was safe to assume that the younger would be okay if he acts now. Since the margins of the optic nerve in each eye were sharply demarcated, but was not hopeless when the male inspected them. It showed deeming signs of life, but revivable.

 

The male pulled up the other’s shirt. Reflexes somewhat normal. Extremities viable, at least to the best it can be after disrupting the airflow to the brain. Heart rate down to from 77 to 40 in seconds flat--showing signs of waning.

 

“This is my repayment. No second chances..”

Nothing was happening, and, that idea was killing him to the core. Breaking him from the inside out.

 

The mutant's hope was fading even more now as he looked at his fallen lover. Holding him close to his chest as he tried to bite back the sobs that were threatening to break him completely. His mind filled with nothing but the memories they shared together. But, they were limited. After loosing his mind, he only remembers bits and pieces of their time together. Like missing scenes from a movie. Slowly and reluctantly, he removed himself from Sora. Looking at him with a mix of defeat. But, something stood out.

 

Sei looked at the other's neck again. Besides the slit, there were two marks on the side of his neck that caught his full attention now that he's noticed them. Two marks that seemed to be made by a bite. One that had fangs. Fangs?

 

Why were there fangs on his neck? He turned the younger male's head to the side gently to further examine the marks. They were definitely bite marks.

 

"How...?"

Kaoru held the male in his arm. He tested and inspected the pulse of the boy. The boy's body was lifeless. But the male didn't care. He wanted to test his vampiric powers. He had to repay his debts.

 

"This is my repayment. No second chances..”

 

Sora was slipping back and forth between consciousness just seconds before he felt a nudge. Air flow to his brain was diminishing, but the last thing he heard was, "...repayment. No...chances..”.

'Huh?'

 

Kaoru, plunges his fangs into the male's neck. Blood began to ooze out, it was in some way sweet nectar to him after salivating when the elder male savored the nectar just the day before. It was a firm belief that this blood was forbidden to his palette. Today was his chance. A chance that he would never get again. The blood was sweet almost like honey, dancing on his tongue like a rush of spices. No wonder why the elder couldn't stop.

He, who had the ability to control his supernatural abilities, too, was driven to madness with the blood. The mutant vampire couldn't hold back. He wanted to reduce the male to a pile of dust and yet, the male couldn't. Holding the boy, the male went berserk. This was satisfying in more than one way, the needle in his eyes. The torn in his side and the one who stole his senpai. And yet his savior.

 

'It's your only chance. Kill him.'

Sei slowly moved back from the other, eyes still fixated on the bite marks engraved into his neck. How.....how the hell? He started to pace the room, trying to figure out how exactly this happened. No one else had fangs like the except-.

 

'That fucker. He did this!'

 

He growled. Kaoru must've got here before he did and bit Sora. Didn't he know if he did that to a dying human, that not only could they live, that you now have some kind of influence on them? That they'll imprint on you? The reason it never happened with him and the younger male was because he wasn't a vampiric mutant. His bites meant something completely different, and did the exact opposite. His growling got louder and louder.

 

There was a small chance of Sora taking the bite, but it was a matter of how long that would be. Sei looked back at the human he cares for so deeply, going back to his side to feel his pulse. It was faint, scarily so, but still there to some degree. 'I'm really going to kill Kaoru.' All those times, the beast let the man off easy because of Sora. But now that the other didn't care for him, didn't belong to him anymore, he could kill the bastard.

 

Even if he still loved him with all of his heart.

It was cold, an eerie cold swept over the male's body. Shivers went up and down his spine. For reasons unknown to him, he shot back up. Bolting out of his supine embrace with the mutant male.

 

He gasped for air, it was like his lungs gave weigh after holding its breath for quite some time. He was confused. Confused that he tried to make sense of why he was there.

 

"Sei..?" The male asked. "What are you doing-?"

 

He couldn't believe his eyes. The elder was standing right in front of him.

 

"Se-.." He paused. "I am sor.."

 

The words that he wanted to say couldn't come out. His heart was thumping uncontrollably.

 

"Sei, I.."

The beast jumped back in surprise, bearing his teeth as a defense mechanism until he realized who it was. And what was going on. Sora...was awake. A thing he should be jumping for joy about, but, it meant that the bite took. Then, what now.

 

Ignoring the other's attempt at speaking, he moved his head to the side to look at the bite marks again. "How..," his voice was harsh. "How are you feeling?" It was only one of tge things he wanted to say. There were a million things that wanted to come out of his mouth, but, they can wait. For how long can he hold back himself from just falling into an embrace with the younger male? He didn't know.

 

However, he shouldn't be here. Yes, it was his home, but he shouldn't be here with Sora. They....weren't a thing anymore. No matter how much he wanted to whine and cry at the fact. All because he was the reason that the other lost his feelings for him, that it became one-sided.

 

"I.....i should....,"

 

With hesitation, he removed his hand from Sora's skin. Creating more distance between them.

Sora was rather confused. Why was the elder acting so weird, instantly crossed his mind. The male began, "I wanted to apologize about last night. I know that I stormed out of your room.." As he approached the other closing the gap between them.

 

"Aren't you gonna say anything?" The male asked in confusion. He tilted his head to the right side. The last thing the male could remember was that he was arguing with the elder about their living arrangement. 'Like heck, does it matter whether they live together in an apartment or the dorm rooms?'

 

"Sei. You're acting really funny. Is everything alright?" Sora asked with a slight annoyance. 'And why was he on the floor and out of breath?' He thought. It doesn't add up, at least right now.
