InkompleteWish
The sea. An endless space of water. A place for aquatic animals and many more. Be it treasures, animals that remind you more of a monster than an actual animal. There are also many legends over the vast sea. Mermaids, treasure, unknown island, whatever you hear in the taverns in town. But this large puddle of water holds not only beautiful things. There is also slavery, hijacking pirates, death and many more. Now that you know the both sides, which do you believe in? Can you still love it after getting sold to a slave trader and shipped to god knows where or when you get brutally wounded in a ship battle? That is for you to decide. But now we will talk about the story of two, different, people and their view of the sea and their life on it. My character: Name: Leopold Edmund Rushford Age: 19 years of age Occupation: Prince of the island ‘Avalon’. Its roots lie in England. It isn’t the biggest island but does have a large size and more power to back it up. They have many connections with other royals around the globe, most being trade partners. The islands strong point lies in large mining caves as well as the rich population of fauna and flora. It’s also known for its breathtaking silk or other cloth. Personality / History: In short, arrogant, self-centered and hot headed. The typical behavior of a spoiled prince. Though he still has a far way to go to become a good king, he already knows the needed knowledge concerning their business. It only lacked him in the personality trait. He doesn’t know when to stop, which often earned him a lecture from his father. But nothing like a beating, which he probably needs. It wasn’t easy to keep him at bay, since he often seduced the woman in the town on his daily escapades. So he obviously knew the right tricks to avoid the guards as long as possible. The king is at his wits end with his son, the queen- pardon his stepmother, didn’t really help. She had her own son of an earlier marriage that could take over the throne if needed. But that would only be possible if Leopold would disappear or be disinherited. So without batting an eyelash, she asked (or more like bribed) a slave trader to take care of the boy. So during one of his ‘outings’ he got kidnapped, beaten and put into a crate and shipped off to god knows where. After he awoke for the first time he naturally resisted and that earned him quite a bit of punches and kicks. It still didn’t break his will and he got so annoying that the slave trader decided to sell him to the next best buyer. Which happened to pay good money for his new ‘toy’. Leopold could still remember the sentence that spilled from the guy’s lips and he mentally shuddered since his body fell soon enough into a deep slumber due to exhaustion. “It will be fun to break him.”
Saga
Name: Samael Xensor, 'the Sea King' Blood Type: A+ Birthday: Unknown Age: 28 / additional information Personality: Paradoxical. Everything in this male's paradoxical. The moment you think he's joking, he's actually being serious. And once you think he shows mercy is actually his most cruelest way of punishing. (Though he has weakness for young girls). Known to be a pervert despite the fact he's the seas' most terrifying 'monster'. Likes: - young, cute ladies; - watching the birds soar; - being challenged; Dislikes: - traitors; - to be woken up; - to lose; the tavern in West Croal, Polrah, was one of the most lively places during the night. Different visitors and different stories filled the air. But most specifically to be noted, it was visited solely by pirates. Of course, enclosed circles. The night was young and hid many possibilities for the wicked ones. - Pfff-ahahahahaha! Ya' serious, dude? - a loud laughter soared over the thick smoke and the stink of alcohol that filled the tavern. A bunch of pirates were having a very entertaining conversation. - I'm tellin' ya', there's no mistake, man. I could've swor'n ma' very sword, it was that Rushford's kid! - No way! It's outta chance, man. Rushford art known for the power and wealth. - I believe ma' eyes. I saw 'im sold off to some ugly shit! - Pf-ahahahaha-... - suddenly the laughter was cut off by a thud made from behind, right followed by a hand slammed on the table. The man's beer almost got knocked down by that large hand. Suddenly the whole tavern sank in silence, only the weak whispers of fear rolled from mouth to mouth, ''It's Samael..'', ''But where did he come from? '' , ''Shut it, dude.. he'll hear ya'...'' The cold gaze of Xensor stared down at the male that was sweating severely, but dared not to raise his chin towards Samael's direction. The silence was broken, - Ahahahaha, no way! - Samael laughed it off and then the crowd followed with rather reluctant chuckles. - Y-yah! Ahahaha, I was just sayin' that! - the male finally rose his chin to have his smiling features freeze. That stare could make anyone shut up, not to mention about the fear for own life. - Care to tell me more about it? - he stretched his lips lightly as his free hand reached for the chair on right, that was occupied by another pirate but it took him a split of a second to free the seat. Yes, that was Samael Xensor. 'The Sea King'.
InkompleteWish
It was a quite night, nothing like the other nights he had survived. The waves slowly lulled everyone on the ship to sleep; even Leopold had it hard to stay away. But even if he did decide to fall into slumber, his bound wrists were making it impossible to sleep peacefully. Bound by thick ropes, he sat yet again in a stinky boat cell. That would be his first night since his purchase. And that would make 12 days in total since his abduction. Blood was crusted around his cheek, the wounds color being an ugly blue. That punch had been his newest addition, only just gotten this morning for biting someone's hand. Leo didn't care if he didn't act like a prince but more like a feral animal at the moment. When he first demanded to be let out he was laughed at and received a fist to his gut. The beatings didn't break his snotty attitude but he was sure as hell not used to it. For now he was licking his wounds, the guy that kidnapped him would be gone. Now he will have his new 'owner'. And Leopold was sure that the other wouldn't hesitate to punch him too. The leer the other wore when he brought him today didn't give him the sweetest thoughts. He was a Prince, so why does this happen to him? He should be in his room, drinking expensive wine with some beauty. His beautiful ruby colored eyes narrowed. As soon as he would be freed from here, the ones responsible for this will suffer. The young lad would make them suffer so much. Nobody treated him, Leopold Edmund Rushford, like this and will be able to flee. At that thought a lowly malicious laughter left his lips. "Ohhhh, they will pay for sure~"
Saga
The sea that night seemed upset and even more in its early hours for it was just before dawn; the waves played with the ships like a spoiled child would throw around its toys. Only a brave one would attempt a war during such a stormy weather, or more believed to be - only a mad one. With his slightly long hair, dripping water from its edges, Xensor stood on the forecastle just near the main deck. His eyes staring into the black horizon where the target was. - Captain! The gun deck is ready to take on your commands! - a middle-aged man screamed from the maindesk, holding onto ropes that could support his body. The storm was in its peak, and only a few people were outside. Xensor's gaze was distanced while turning back the time in his head, when he gathered the information about the Rushford's heir. But even more distanced it seemed once his memories dived into the old times when he was around that kid's age. Quickly shaking off the darkness within his heart that was just like a deep, blue lagoon, Xensor raised his voice through the storm, - Full force, course 3'o'clock! The middle aged man, who had his own unique story with Xensor, repeated the captain's command for the crew. - Full force, 3'o'clock! Come on, boys! Once Samael learned about the enslaved kid, he took off to the sea. Of course, the crew gathered some goods from the tavern. It was always like this, whenever Xensor walked in some pirate bar, they'd send him off with a dozen of gifts. After all, no one wanted that man as an enemy. And obvious was, the ship targetted by him wouldn't last - no matter the given weather, so it was believed.
InkompleteWish
The night stretched on and like he thought before, he wasn't able to fall asleep. Sometime during the dark night, the ship departed from the harbor and was making its way over the open sea. The ship wasn't big but sturdy enough to transport him and a few other slaves as well as the crew over the ocean. But it seemed like Mother Nature didn't approve of the foul deed of slavery. The lulling waves from earlier turned into forces of water that pushed the boat around. It was hard at times to keep himself upright; else he would have been tossed against the steel metal bars of the prison he was kept in. A storm was coming and grew stronger over a short time. Leopold heard the sailors curse and shout over the boisterous sound of the crashing waves. He could not make out what they were shouting about but it seemed urgent from the way the voices even traveled down to him as well as the sound of thundering feet above his head. Mere seconds after and a force like no other shook the ship, distinctly he heard wood breaking. That was by no means a wave! And his presumption seemed to manifest itself when he heard one word over the panicked shouts and rushing of waves. "Pirates!" In a split second fear was making itself known on his face. Though he guessed he wouldn't sail worse then on this ship, pirates were known for being barbaric. In the best case they would just kill him. But no, the question was if they even took prisoners. They could just be after the other goods on this ship. They would just sink it later on. And hell, if he had to die, he would rather not drown like a rat in this slave ship. His kingdom was probably searching for him, so for that duration he had to make sure to stay alive. //As if I would let myself get killed by this scum.// he cursed in his mind and tried to wiggle free of his restrictions. Like hell will he give up just like this.
