Yukio_of_the_Snow
Hyuuga Satoru. That's a name many people recognize and can speak of without so much as batting their lashes twice. Heir to a Multi-billion dollar company who gets it's profits from developing weapons and new bits of technology for the world around them, Satoru is what many would call a child prodigy. At the age of 5 he was already beginning to develop his own little bits of technology. At 8, he had created his personal workshop in the basement of his parents house where he spent countless hours tinkering with projects here and there. It seemed that from the very start, Satoru's mind was flipped into overdrive and the young Heir could do nothing more than to give life to the creations he saw in his mind. He built things no one thought possible and in his early teens, he was already shocking his own family with the multitude of his projects. Satoru's name soon became spoken through many lips and as the years went by, many grew all the more eager to see what the young prodigy would come out with next. However, for all his family's fame and his own personal successes, Satoru was not without danger. Small incidents were known to happen, all beginning when the young genius first began to show his true potential. Letters were mailed to his house containing strange messages in them, odd people were often spotted trying to get the boy's attention during events hosted by his family. Kidnapping attempts were put into play during the boy's early teen years, all thankfully foiled by the rightly placed family security team. Yet as the years went on and the attempts continued, Satoru's family grew desperate to find a solution. A way to be able to assure themselves that their young Prodigy would be perfectly safe and out of the hands of harm. When a man with exceptional skills catches the family's eyes, they all but jump into hiring him as Satoru's personal Bodyguard. This man is all they could ever wish for and more. His skills and background give them all the reassurance that under his watch, Satoru will fall to no harm. However, how is a boy that's used to his independence and freedom handle a new man pegged on following him around like a shadow. Satoru isn't fond of anyone crashing his style and he enjoys being alone with his creations, yet this new "bodyguard" seems adamant of being close enough to the Heir in case of any threats. Will these two be able to learn to get along for the sake of it all? Especially when emotions begin to form between them?
Yukio_of_the_Snow
The sounds of machines functioning around him and the smooth hum of electronics going on off didn't phase a young blonde who sat ideally in the middle of a large room surrounded by glass walls. Slender hands tinkered away on a small gadget placed on the table in front of the young teen while the soothing sound of upbeat music filled the workshop's space. Strangely colored auburn eyes remained locked on the equipment in his hands while the holographic screen hovering beside him continued to produce rows and rows of data that would have seemed quite confusing and downright unreadable to the normal person's brain. Though many teens his age would have preferred to be out enjoying the day with their friends or simple indulging in some sort of sport, Hyuuga Satoru wasn't interested in any of that. For him, his experiments and projects were the most important things to him. His creations captured a great amount of his attention and it was always a hard task to get him to participate in anything aside the mechanical world he had grown himself into. Being born the youngest son of Kaoru and Yumemi Hyuuga, Satoru had shown his talent in the mechanical field from the very start. He had created things that left people gaping and in awe before he had even hit his teens. And by the time he was merely 12 years old, everyone around him already assumed that there simply was nothing the young prodigy would not be able to provide them with. From the numerous weapons and gadgets Satoru created, to the small every day home trinkets he liked to come out with...the boy was quickly becoming quite a well spoken of legend for those of his generation. Heck, the teen's brain seemed to be well beyond the short years his body had. Despite his popularity though, Satoru preferred his solitude with his creations for the most part. Yes, he did have friends but only a small few he fully counted and trusted upon. They might not have been up to par with his intelligence, however, he loved them all the same and enjoyed spending time with them when he could.....Yet now, his family had added a new addition to his world A bodyguard....correction, his own personal bodyguard......as if they didn't have enough of those as it was. The thought itself had a annoyed grimace forming on the genius's face. If there was one thing Satoru hated, it was the thought of someone constantly invading his space or needing to be with him every moment of every day. Nevertheless, his parents paid no mind to his protests. They claimed that the only way they could make sure he was safe from all those freaks who had started to come at him, was with a man they could trust to protect him. So in conclusion, they hire a total stranger......Lord, weren't they typical. "Master Satoru" a mild, soft spoke and patient elderly voice reached his ears from the glass walls around him and through the music playing. Blinking and straightening up as a knock proceeded the voice, the young blonde turned in his chair to look upon the highly welcomed face of his household's butler. Tanaka was a man Satoru had loved from the moment he was a mere toddler. The teen had no idea what made the elderly man so special to him, all he knew was that Tanaka had a way of break through to him like no one else could. Not even his parents. "Taki....Lower the volume and open the doors for Tanaka, will you" Satoru calmly ordered the A.I he had created and programmed into the house's structure. "Very well, sir" a monotonic male voice responded to his command from what seemed like the ceiling or the walls around him. It took less than a second for the music to be lowered sufficiently and the sound of the lock being disabled from his door to sound. Tanaka entered the young prodigy's workshop a moment after with a warm smile on his aged features. "Master Satoru...I am pleased to see you still are doing well...After four days down here I would have expected to find a half starved corpse" the butler commented with light amusement in his voice. Flashing the older man a grin, Satoru passed a hand through his golden locks while shrugging with a reply of "You know how I get, Tanaka. When something comes into my mind, I have to create it, no matter how long it takes". "Yes, young master. I know that very well. However, I must propose you come upstairs to at least have a bit of the lunch I prepared for you. It would do your body some good....And I hope you remember that your guard must assure himself of your well being as well. Your parents would have a fit if they hear that you have locked yourself away down here in order to avoid him" Tanaki stated calmly, lips twitching up at his master's antics. His smile grew when the young prodigy grumbled something under his breath and rolled his eyes. Nevertheless, Satoru rose slowly to his feet with a quiet little yawn and a stretch of his arms. "Yeah yeah....There's no need to inform them of anything while they're on their trip. I promise to give my guard all the attention he needs, alright?" Satoru sighed, walking over to the butler who merely chuckled and opened the door for him. "I'm sure, young master" the man said, climbing up the stairs behind Satoru to reach the main floor of the house. "Where is the guy anyways?" Satoru asked after they had closed the basement doors behind them. "In the kitchen last time I checked, young master. I presume he is still waiting for you there" Tanaka replied, walking behind the teen who calmly made his way down a long hall leading towards said destination. "Wonderful" Satoru responded sarcastically, not feeling the least excited for the confrontation he might find himself in. He didn't purposely try to make the man's life hard, it was simply that Satoru wasn't used to having a real life personal shadow. Making it to the kitchen a few minutes later, the blonde's auburn eyes briefly landed on the sight of his guard. Ignoring the brief flicker of attraction he found himself feeling every time he saw the man, the prodigy made his way towards the island in the kitchen. "Good afternoon, Mister Bodyguard...How has life been treating you these last few days?" he asked in a joking tone of voice, thanking Tanaka quietly when the butler calmly placed his food in front of him. EnvyPrince
He needed a haircut. It was the first thought that had popped when Tetsu had woken up that morning. A mess of silver that extended to just below the level of his jawline; he found it to be irritating when he stared at a tangle of hair resembling some terribly constructed bird's nest so early in the morning. The mess he could deal with, but the strands were getting too long, and they needed to go. Kicking aside the blanket he'd been buried under last night, Tetsu staggered up and shuffled his way to the bathroom. He frowned at the mirror, pulling at the dark bags under his eyes. A terrifying sight, these bags, and for the next five minutes Tetsu turned his head this way and that, pulling and tugging on them. The room he stayed in had two bay windows, the green curtains pulled back and tied off to the sides. It was still early in the morning, the sun barely peeking over the horizon, but some sunlight weakly streamed in to spot the room here and there. For the past four days he had been living here as a live-in personal guard. Really, it was more like a doppleganger shadowing their son every waking minute, which wasn't much of a problem for Tetsu. He couldn't say, nor did he really care, for the opinion of the other party member. Having managed to tame his hair with his comb and the mirror, he pulled on a simple white shirt, leaving the last button undone as always, straightened it out and then turned the lamp before exiting his room. The door closed with a quiet click, and he turned down the hallway to the kitchen. Nowadays, he always woke up early in the morning Tetsu liked it, and it wasn't because of something as sappy as watching the sun rise . He just enjoyed it because he had more time to do other things if he got the boring things done early in the morning, but right now it was more out of habit than anything else. There wasn't much else to do for the moment, except to keep a report of the day to day things for himself, and the early mornings allowed him to wander around and get a better feel of the place. Staying in an unfamiliar home was unnerving for him, so he'd mentally made a map of the place through his quiet explorations. The route to the kitchen had been the first thing he'd memorized; Tetsu had to keep his stomach happy. For several days he'd been contemplating on picking the locks on the door to the kid's hideout, but had retracted the idea. The mood between them was already kind of awkward, at least for Tetsu it was just mildly so, and he suspected his charge wouldn't be all too pleased with forced entrance. Besides, he also figured the doors would be something beyond his skills. Like a laser door, or something that was super glowy and techy and stuff. Maybe it shot lasers at unwanted visitors. Having had breakfast by himself, again, Tetsu turned his attention back to his charge. Several times he'd caught himself prowling near the entrance to the lower part of the house, his fingers fidgeting with the end of his shirt. This was a job, and a job he wanted to do well in. However, getting some form of cooperation from the other end was proving to be a bit...futile. There had been past clients that had proven difficult as well, but none of them had proven themselves to be freakishly brainy either. He didn't like brainy folks. The almost dumb, but still intelligent enough to hold a decent conversation, were easier to handle. Afternoon had come quickly, especially since he'd spent most of his time moving from his room to the entrance that led to the lower part of the house. Tetsu was certain he'd lost at least 15lbs from moving up and down, and he'd have to lodge a complaint about the overabundance of stairs. With the thought of stairs came the next typical thought of food; moving up and down those stairs made him hungry. Muttering something about fried fish, he headed towards the kitchen (he was certain he was more familiar with the kitchen than any other part of the house) for something to eat. Once he'd sat down, Tetsu greeted both the servants and his food with a smile. He didn't think much of this lunch, since there had been little to no change of pace during his past lunches here, and what came into the kitchen had him raising one brow up. He'd been halfway through his meal when the person he'd been assigned to guard had showed up. Oh, you are one glorious little twit. Tipping his head to the left, he placed his spoon down and curved the corners of his mouth up into a grin. “Frankly, I've been rather amused for the past several days.”
