Biography: After a past relationship went down the drain, Tenshi found himself returning to work as a "maid" at Hotel Sunset. When he was younger, he would often hear his father arguing with his mother until the day he left them. After his mother died of a broken heart while waiting on her husband to return, Tenshi moved in with his older sister until he was able to finish school. At age seventeen he found a job as maid and has been working there since then. It was around this time that he began a relationship that eventually ended in the two parting ways. Tenshi enjoys his job at Hotel Sunset because he is allowed to dress how he wants and tends to guest requests, questions, and tends to all rooms on the second floor.

Personality: Tenshi normally does not have a hard time expressing himself, though, he's become a bit of a introvert since a previous relationship went sour. Until he opens up to someone he might speak in small sentences and rarely make eye contact. In other words: quiet and reserved. If they are a guest at Hotel Sunset he will make an effort to talk for the sake of pleasing the customer (as well as keeping his job). He's also a very understanding person and willing to show the warm affectionate side of himself, that is, if he trusts you enough. He's unwilling to anything he feels forced to, which might result in him walking away without an answer.

Likes:

※ Wearing feminine and lose clothing.

※ Cooking as well as learning how to make new dishes.

※ Occasionally drinking strawberry daiquiri (when it's bought for him)

※ Karaoke

※ Helping others

Dislikes:

※ Being called "TenTen" because it brings up memories.

※ "Are you a boy or a girl?"

※ Extreme perverts

※ Overly sweet tasting things.

※ Abusive people.

Random information:

※ He own's a guinea pig named Lola.

※ He doesn't like to be called "TenTen". (Brings up memories)

※ His mother allowed him to do ballet because he really liked the tutus.

※ He currently lives in a one person apartment near Hotel Sunset.

※ He's the youngest of three. (Koaru Snow -older brother-; Brittney -older sister-)

※ His brother would tease him by telling his friends that Tenshi was his younger "sister"

※ He became interested in cross-dressing after watching his mother putting on her makeup.

※ He has a huge big brother complex.

※ His mother died when he was 13.

Fun Fact: Tenshi is a character I started using on Myspace back in 2009. (surprisingly the page is still there)

Character Information::

reo1_copy_by_takarayume-d897ais.png

Name: Rurutia ルルティア, Reo 怜朗

A blissful rain, river

Nickname: Lulu

Sex: Male

Position: Seke

Race: Human

Years: 25 years old

Height: 5'9 ft

Weight: 64 kg

Eyes: Gold

Hair: magenta color, with the right side dyed white, and the tips of his hair dyed a dirty blonde gradient.

Personality:

TL;DR: Not quite an asshole but yeah, Naive people run away, while those exceptionally perceptive be wary, and to those kind-hearted souls, tread with caution.

A rather complex character. Like, even before approached, he seems to be the quiet and serious type, to which he claims is because he's just a little introverted and doesn't like taking the spotlight. Upon meeting, once he warms up to you, he'd appear more casual, friendly and affectionate. After that, the second disposition is what he wants people to think of him once he decides to show that side to them. Cruel, a liar, etc. He wants to fool himself into thinking that this is what he actually is, thus throwing people off and believing it themselves. When actually all those layers and layers of persona, are merely walls or shields to guard the person beneath it all. He knows it's not pretty to look at, and this is who he really is, it's only whether the person chooses to accept him for who he is or get burned for playing with fire. Either way they'd probs still get burned.

What he shows you:

[ Mild | Affectionate | Air-head | Dependent | Doting |

He first presents himself as a mild-mannered individual, a little shy around new faces, but grows more affectionate and 'open' the more he spends time with them. Turning from a quiet and sweet guy to a more active and talkative one. He'd be really flirty friendly and lend a helping hand if you ever need it, a listening ear if you need to share problems, he'd be your wingman and the very essence of a best friend to you...

He would also appear as an airhead most of the time, constantly spacing out, needing a repeat of earlier's instruction and very easy-going as he doesn't like to stress over every little thing and only panics when the problem is smacking him in the face.

He lets others guard's down by acting as such, being dependent on them that they are unable to help but take care or look out for him despite the fact that he is more than capable of taking care of himself.

He acts doting to just about anyone who he considers as his 'friend'. Listening to their every whim and not making a complaint and shower them with praise and admiration. He tends to act sarcastic silly every now and then, almost like a useless big brother type.

This prompts others to take advantage and use him at will, thinking he is one of those naive people. He gains there favor by making them think he is an individual who needs to be lead around by the hand and one to be taken advantaged of.

What he doesn't show you unless it slips:

[ Cunning | Cynical | Ego-centric | Observant |

A wolf in sheep's clothing. Many have fallen for his wily ways. He's not exactly 'evil' but he is most definitely not a good guy, should you ever hang with him. He may pretend to be your biggest friend, listen to your problems, give helpful advice and loan you money if you really needed it, but always know that he hates you, he truly despises you and inwardly finds your misfortune amusing and laughs at your insecurities, finding each and every one of them weak.

He considers everyone a potential enemy and always, always tries to be at least three steps ahead. A very cynical person despite his outward appearance and demeanor. He doesn't trust anyone. And more often than not, he is merely faking being a 'friend'.

Only looking out for himself, he believes every person is selfish and that there is no one who is truly 'good', So why not him? He won't hesitate to exploit other's weaknesses too once he learns about them and he feels that they are a threat to him.

He is very keen on observing others, he catches on words, actions, changes in one's expression quite quick, but doesn't outwardly show it. He only allows himself to be used, knowing in this way, he is not considered a threat, and therefore others would have no problems keeping secrets from him or having their guards up.

What he'll never show you unless he is actually comfortable enough with you:

[ Insecure | Dishonest | Jaded | SadoMaso |

As one would expect, behind the many layers of smiles, jokes, and deceit, there is still a person there. Lulu is actually very insecure of himself and has so much self-loathing he pretends to act like such a sociopath.

He is dishonest, so much to the point that he is unable to tell which is the real him anymore and often times has slips f the tongue and saying something uncharacteristic of him, or being air-headed and forgetting what he was doing in the first place.

He acts like a know-it-all, somewhat showing to possess 'chuunibyou', and has an arrogant way of viewing life, politically or socially, because of this, he complains of how he is always bored with how predictable life is.

He enjoys seeing other's get hurt, whether emotionally or physically, he also seems to like hurting himself physically when he's experiencing emotional pain, and at the same time, doesn't mind others hurting him either or treating him roughly.

Biography

In a nutshell, Lulu didn't manage to grow properly under the nurture and care of his parents. Add in siblings who disliked him, and constant moving about, he never had the chance to leave any roots nor make friends. When he reached middle school, having moved to a new hometown at that point, he had been used by everyone despite his attempts of trying to please them, he had been used instead. His twisted personality stemmed from these two very incidents, turning him into what he is now. He constantly uses playing RHYME as some sort of distraction as well as his comfort zone of being able to feel. Though not making any real damage, it was close enough.

•He has this thing for touching. Once your familiar enough to him, he'd no doubt want to sling an arm around your shoulder, link arms, and even hug you from behind. It's somewhat a coping mechanism since he didn't do any of these as a child.

•He likes to be praised. Be it in any personality he takes up, the first one he'd casually deny with modesty, the second he'd not doubt agree with cockily, but no matter how he acts, he genuinely appreciates it despite wanting to feel cynical about it. It's one of the few things that really get to him since he hardly got any of that growing up. But shh that's a secret.

•Superstitious

•Has a tattoo on his chest of pulse and a heart combined

•Has two piercings in both ears and below the lip

•Has poor spicy tolerance

•Can't drink pills to save his life

•If you're wearing a hat, he would stare at it for a long time, if you're a friend, he'd want to borrow it.

•Don't expect to get it back

•Has a sweet tooth

•Also a gamer in his spare time

•Refuses to learn how to drive, so he either walks, or takes public transportation if he has to go somewhere. Unless someone was willing enough to drive him.

•More at ease around other males, females tend to make him act a bit awkward.

-Suited to a more dark sort of theme, since he's more of a Bad end sorta character//weeps

Ah, the holidays. Best time of the year to get back in touch with those old comrades, meet your family and relatives, but that sweater you always wanted..or in Reo's case chill in an expensive hotel suite to be away from them all. Watching the trees and buildings that he passed by through the car's window with a blank gaze and after passing a tunnel sees his own reflection staring back at him, he was rather glad to get away from those people, those he called his friends and family and just spend time for himself.

A bunch of strangers to mess with perhaps if he got bored, but other than that, Reo wasn't really expecting anything grand having been used to the rich lifestyle, nothing fazed him, nothing impressed him anymore, life was just bland to him now. He blinks a bit as his eyes readjusted to the sunlight when the car had exited the tunnel and he turns to look at his all-mate, Chamo by his shoulder, resting, or then again, perhaps not as it opened it's eyes immediately and stared back up at his owner.

"Is something the matter?" It spoke quietly in a deadpanned tone.

Chuckling softly to himself before shaking his head, "Nothing, perhaps it's just the nerves..." He responds vaguely and remained quiet the rest of the ride there.

His heels clicked, breath fogging in the chill air, feet moving as fast as they could carry him down the paved sidewalk. A number of apologizes spilled from his lips while navigating through the early morning shoppers. Tenshi would also have to apologize to Ms. Miura for not stopping by for his usual pastry before work. After three years of working at Hotel Sunset, the busy holiday season never failed to surprise him. A quick greeting was called to reception worker as he dried his feet on the welcome mat. There wouldn't be enough time to stop by his locker in the employee lounge to remove his coat, so he had to settle for wearing it during the meeting.

The front desk was located to the left after entering the double doors. To the right was the dining room and the bar. Further down the hall on the left hand side were the employee lounge, house keeping and the meeting room. To the right of those were guest rooms. A singular voice echoed through the polished mahogany as he got closer, sighing and hesitating as he entered through the door, lightly flinching as it closed.

"You're fifteen minutes late." Takeda raised his voice as he continued to address the line of employees before him. As Tenshi quickly positioned himself between the barkeeper and the Head Maid of the first floor, Takeda quietly repositioned his half-rimmed glasses. "As I was saying, our special guest will be arriving shortly and the length of his stay is, currently, undetermined. But I expect each and every one of you live up to the expectations of this hotel. Heather, Anna, Tenshi." He shifted his attention to each person he called. "I need three of you to finish preparing the Executive Suite. All of you are now dismissed."

No sooner had Mr. Takeda walked away low murmurs filled the meeting room before the rest of them went to their assigned posts. Tenshi took the time to properly adjust his collar and the sash around his waist. In his haste he wasn't able to finish adjusting his uniform before leaving his apartment. Still not enough time to drop off my coat... He thought to himself as he made his way to the reception desk for the second floor master key to finish preparing the suite.

The rest of the ride to the hotel was rather uneventful, with Reo almost falling asleep at some point until the car had slowly smoothed into a stop, the driver up front softly claiming that they had arrived. Rousing from his drowsiness, the purple-haired male offered him a small smile before exiting the vehicle before anyone could open the door for him. One of the managers perhaps? Had been there to greet him and his stuff had been immediately brought to his supposed room. 'Not bad...' He thinks to himself as he scoped the area about while the manager led him to the entrance. It really was grand, the scenery was breathtaking and for a moment he thought it would be nice to capture it with a camera before the thought is pushed tot he back of his head.

"Is it to your liking" The manager seemed to have noticed how he spaced out there for a moment and he was quick to save face by smiling apologetically, "Yes, it's truly luxurious, I was right to choose this place," garnering him a proud laugh from the older male before said male started to continue talking about the place, food, and a bunch of stuff he could really care less about. "You're a little earlier than expected, but we assure you all that you need will be provided for you," Now talking in a professional tone, Reo could understand the ways of being a manger, being able to communicate with other's without seeming too over-bearing with an air of reliability to him, it seems this guy just wasn't all talk. Huh. Well good.

"Well there was less traffic than we had expected," A small shrug. "Oh, um, Is it alright if I drop by my room first? It's been a long day," Blinking for a moment before understanding, he nods his head at the hidden implication of 'wanting to be left alone for now'. The manager then led the composer to the elevators, pressing the button for the top floor where the suits would be located. Reo adjusted his hat in one of the mirrors since it had been shifted a bit when he had almost fallen asleep.

The elevator had made a soft 'ding' and opened, revealing an expensive looking hall. "Alright, well then, this is your room. I understand that your driver is filling up the papers for you?" The older male asked as he led to Rurutia to a door. "Yeah?" Staring at the other male curiously, as if wondering if there was something wrong with that. The other just shakes his head softly, with an amiable smile still on his face before saying, "Well then, I'll let you get some rest now, feel free to have a tour around the place yes? And call for the number beside the phone in case you need anything else. Again, thank you for choosing Hotel Sunset and we hope that you enjoy your stay here," And with that the two said their farewells, Reo unlocking his room with the card given to him and swings the door open. He couldn't wait to get some sleep.

As usual, Tenshi was left to attend to the final preparations of the rooms. Dusting, polishing, redecorating and straightening the bedding. Although grateful for Heather and Anna's help, he grew tired of listening to their gossip about what kind of guest would rent this room. Perhaps they were rich? What if it was a woman with extravagant jewels and a Persian huddled in her arms? A bachelor prince in disguise in search of a wife in a foreign land? How could they come up with such things? Listening to their endless gossiping made him appreciate the quiet of working alone. Though... It is kind of interesting.

The suite had an earth toned theme with a large rectangular window that overlooked the river walk. A plush cream comforter and chocolate brown pillows decorated a king sized bed. On the end table next to the bed was a silver platter topped with a freshly cleaned silk doily, a bottle of vintage wine and two champagne glasses. Next to the platter was a sample tray of assorted cheese, crackers and grapes with two folded cloth napkins waiting in front. Bouquets were placed on tables near the main door and one near the window. Each bouquet neatly filled with aster, heather, and lisianthus. No wilted petals or unsightly leaves left of the stems. "Flowers that equally represented the best qualities of the hotel." That was what Mr. Takeda had told him when he first applied for the job position.

A content smile spread on semi-full lips, allowing him to feel the remaining lipgloss from his morning rush. Tenshi took pride in his effort when it came to making an area look presentable. He moved quickly, but tried to take in all the details, feeling at ease once it had just the right touch. The sound of the door unlocking caused him to flinch, nearly dropping the handwritten greeting card that would normally be placed on the bed after the room was finalized.

"Welcome to-" It was then that the tips of his right hand firmly pressed against his lips. As a precaution he used a more feminine sounding voice to appeal to the guest. The shock of the door was enough to briefly allow own voice slip through. "A-Ah-" His voice raised to his working tone, quickly brushing at the apron of his uniform before bowing. "Welcome to Hotel Sunset! M-My name is Tenshi and I'm assigned to the rooms on this floor."

Shifting to his full height allowed the skirt of his uniform to rest an inch above his knees. His two toned hair stopped at his shoulders, brows slightly furrowed as he tried to concentrate on remaining calm and collected. This man was a guest and he had a reputation to uphold as an employee. "If you have any questions, requests or concerns, I'm more than happy to answer them for you, Sir."

"Welcome to-"

Blinking a bit, Reo was a little surprised someone was in his room, staring at the individual for a moment, he took in the attire before deciding that this person was one of the help here. His lips broke into a soft smile at how flustered the other had gotten by his sudden arrival.

"Welcome to Hotel Sunset! M-My name is Tenshi and I'm assigned to the rooms on this floor."

'Well, I figured as much,' He thought to himself, but naturally didn't say so out loud. "Nice to meet you, Tenshi," A tone of familiarity just as they had met, now it may have seemed arrogant but Reo was never one for honorifics despite how he was half-Japanese. Walking further into the room, he stood much taller than the girl. Shyly smiling despite how confident he seemed, he scratches the back of his head in an almost nervous fashion. "Rurutia, Reo. My name I mean..." He stumbled over his own introduction pathetically and covers his embarrassment by chuckling sheepishly.

"But calling me Reo is just fine with me, the sir thing...I don't do well with." He admitted with a small shrug, removing his hat and placing it down on the bed before inspecting the flowers by the window, examining each petal with a childlike curiosity, from the window he was given a perfect view of the place, greener than Eden's fields, acres of lawn rolled away from the hotel, without one weed. The majestic crowns of immense live oaks and the drooping boughs of deodar cedars, each a classic specimen, were silvered and diamonded by the afternoon shower.

'Beautiful' One would have thought then, but Reo's mind was carefully blank at the scene, not as enraptured as he should have been. When he turns to face Tenshi, his lips wore a pleased smile. "What a lovely view!" He praised, just as he had with the manager. This was indeed a five-star class hotel admittedly enough, and he could appreciate the time all those designers took in making the place as aesthetically pleasing as possible.

His golden eyes, danced from the earthy tones used for his room to the champagne bottle prepared for him, up to the tray of food, then finally, back to the maid. His eyes widened a bit before a smile makes it's way to his lips once more, and Reo walks back over to her, bending down a bit as he reached a hand out for the girl. "How'd you get all the way there, huh?" He sounds to be scolding something, and when he pulled his hands back, there was a chameleon in his hands--the statement directed at it. 'Must've jumped on her when I passed by...' He thought to himself.

"Hehe, sorry about that, this is my All-mate, Chamo. And apparently, he's interested in females...or those he thinks are pretty anyhow..." Giving an apologetic smile before placing the chameleon on the bed then sitting on it as well. "Anyways, I'm just tired from the long drive, I can order room service later, right?" He wanted to make sure of that at least before sending the maid away.

  • 4 weeks later...

Under normal circumstances, Takeda would not allow his employees to address their guests so formally. Honorifics and polite speech were drilled into each of them from the day they put on their uniform to begin training. Every guest would be addressed with the proper honorific and failing to do so would result in another lecture, if not being fired. But, given the privacy of the room, Tenshi decided it would be safe to give into Reo's request (as Tenshi saw it). As long as there was no witness and definitely as long as Takeda were not within hearing distance.

"I will try to keep that in mind, Reo." It would be an adjustment process. One that had a strangely foreign ring to it. Noticing that the guest seemed to be nervous brought a reassuring smile to the maid's face, continuing to watch from his position near the desk area.

"The hotel prides itself on both appearance and a quality experience for each guest." Tenshi automatically responded, as if his reply had been rehearsed multiple times. He quietly shifted his weight from one leg to the other, remembering to keep his voice in check as he observed the other. Usually Tenshi wouldn't be in the room by the time a guest arrived. The urge to take a final look at the room caused him to fidget with the apron of his uniform. Perhaps he had missed something? The bathroom was completely spotless when he last examined it. He was unaware of himself being distracted by thoughts until he caught on to something Reo had said. "Huh?" Tenshi echoed in response.

When Tenshi noticed Reo walking towards him he couldn't help but furrow his brows before slightly tilting his head to one side. He felt as if the other were talking to him, but didn't appear to be paying attention to his face. The maid opened his mouth to ask an incomplete question before noticing the reptile-like figure that was pulled off of him. It took every fiber of Tenshi's being to keep his terrified shriek to a minimum. His hands firmly clasped over his mouth, green eyes widening as the took a few steps back. Tenshi didn't have a fear of reptiles or All-mates, but the surprise was enough for him to have to take a few deep breaths. Regain composure and return to being professional. The compliment - if he were able to consider what Reo said as such - made his shoulders stiffen, unsure how to respond to such words.

Instead, he decided to momentarily focus his attention on the chameleon All-mate. "N-Nice to meet you, Chamo." Tenshi lightly stammered, struggling to keep his voice is check as he continued to recover from the shock. He then took a moment to brush his hands against the apron of his skirt. A habit he developed to ease anxiety. It was then that he remembered the handwritten note, feeling it fall from his hand after brushing his skirt. Tenshi quickly squatted down to pick it up - careful to keep his legs together - with a slightly discouraged frown on his face as he stood up to view the wrinkles.

"This," he paused while thumbing away at the creases, "I was...supposed to leave this on your bed for you when I left. I apologize for ruining it, but it's a welcome note." he murmured as he slowly walked over towards the bed, offering the card with a slightly angled bow. "There is a number for room services inside the pamphlet next to the phone. If you need anything, feel free to call that number and a maid will assist you."

Once the card was given he gave yet another bow before standing straight. Shoulders back, hands firmly clasped in front of him and a warm smile tugging at his thin lips. "Enjoy your rest, Reo." he chimed, slowly returning to his professional self. After giving a final bow Tenshi turned to face the door to the room, quietly closing it behind him to give the guest some time alone.

Hello! ///wheezes// sorry about this huuuge delay ahhh ))

Glad to hear that the maid took his words to heart -or well it looked like it did-, he continued to listen to what Tenshi had to say but it was the same monologue all those guys he had met earlier said over and over that his mind just automatically blocked them out.

He laughs lightly when it seems his chameleon had caught the other off guard, but honestly, it /was/ his fault for programming it to be this way. Nothing but a straight-laced pervert....at first he had though it to be as a funny joke..and then realized that he didn't mind it being like this....ah oh well...

"It would have been better to meet one with more boing," It responds blankly and Reo's smile twitches the faintest bit. "A-ah! Excuse him--! He's...um...always like this..." The only con with it's personality was, must it always refer to such things?? "I'd get the repairman to fix this guy's personality but he says it would mess with a bunch more things in return, so there was nothing I could really do about it--" He rambled on appearing to be embarrassed by his Allmate's words.

Taking the welcome note shortly after calming down, Reo examined the card and waved it with a carefree grin, "Oh, how thoughtful of you guys, haha, I'll keep it with me here," He slides it into his pant's pocket. It could be a souvenir of sorts, a souvenir that often went into the trash days later. "Call any maid? Though I'd prefer if it was just you Tenshi, you seem nice enough~" Flattery often got him good reactions, but appealing to other's good points was alright too in the long run.

"Thanks again," He called out just as the maid made her leave. He lied down on the bed with his allmate and stared at the ceiling for a few moments and then...

"I suppose it would have been nicer to have more boing," He agreed nonchalantly.

It was weird though, he tended to be more awkward around girls, but around this particular maid, he seemed to fare alright...? Huh...
