"Not really" he answers also looking at the top "if anything concentrate on the sunset". The days themselves had become shorter and even thought it had been day light a few minutes ago now it was a bright orange.

 

"Hope you're okay" joked Aiko as both walked towards the machine. A man let them inside the cart and Aiko sat across from Shin. He wouldn't have minded where to sit but he didn't want to appear pushing or something, just because Aiko might not appreciate it.

Leaning his hand by the large window he rests his chin there and stares at the outside. His eyes traveling from the sun to the water on the bottom and then buildings surrounding them

"Yeah," Shin said in a low voice. His fists tightened up a little as he walked to the cart behind Aiko.

They rose higher and higher and he started to fidget inside not daring to look out of the windows. But his curiosity urged him to take a peek at the other who sat across him.

There he was overwhelmed by something other than his fear of height. The orange red rays of the setting sun shone upon whole of Aiko. The guy's coffee-colored hair and eyes were a perfect match to the evening, the face looked so peaceful and gorgeous.

His heart calmed down. Shin took a deep breath, back and head leaning on the window behind and enjoyed the view, both Aiko and the background.

With eyes fixed on the other, "Hisakawa-san, have you ever fallen in love before?" he asked breaking the silence.

Surprised by the questions Aiko slightly jumped and quickly looked at the other. A bit of nervousness and anxiety grew inside him from the question but it was dismissed as he watched Shin's hair against the sun.

His eyes shimmered from admiration at the now bright red color reflecting from the sun.

 

"Oh wow!" he says with a large smile "Your hair is beautiful" he blurs out and immediately blushes due to his bluntness. Aiko's eyes drift to the floor now hiding his deep blush

"a-actually" he answers "I don't think the opposite gender likes me around those lines....I've never been confessed to so I never had a chance to fall in love"

He could feel a slight flush hearing the other's comment on his hair. The blushing Aiko looked unbelievably cute in his eyes. "Thank you," Shin chuckled.

It was a surprise for him to know that the guy had never been in love before. He thought before maybe the other might have had a first love at least. 'He must've put all his heart into studies," Shin smiled.

It was frustrating to not be able to see Aiko's face. On a whim, he walked over to the other side and sat beside the guy. Cornering the embarrassed male with one hand blocking the only way out, Shin lifted up Aiko's chin and held him captive within his sharp gaze.

"I've fallen for you, Hisakawa-san. I love you." Slowly and very clearly, he said these words giving the other no time to think of anything else.

He shrugged as the other sat next to him, making Aiko become more aware of the two and the closed space they were in. Hearing the words made his heart beat so fast is hurt he found himself short of breath and his cheeks now completely heated as his face was forced up to look into Shin's eyes.

 

"y-you're clearly delusional" he says averting the others eyes "there's n-no way you really love me"

The words to contradict Shin actually hurt, Aiko was happy that the other had confessed but in general he did doubt it because...how?

 

"its not possible" he murmurs now closing his own eyes tightly.

Aiko's face turned bright red hearing the confession. His heart skipped a beat.

"Delusional?" he questioned the other. Shin let go of the chin and grabbed the hand of the guy, placing it above his racing heart.

"I know this is out of the blue," his voice softly whispered near the boy's ear, " but I'm sure this," he increased the grip, "you wouldn't even need a stethoscope to notice that this heart inside me is abnormal?"

Pulling away, Shin found the guy had his eyes closed. 'You're being so defenseless, aren't you?' His face closed in on the other's, he could feel Aiko's panting breath on his lips.

He flinched and threw is eye lids open as he felt Shin's heart beat. His vision come face to face with Shin's lovely features, his own heart soon matched the others as it joined in a quick pace. He held his breath waiting for what proceeded but not once did he push the other way.

 

It was such a great mystery to Aiko as to why the other had had this change of feelings. In general it was all rather welcomed, so terrifying, and beautiful that it felt like a dream.

Holding his breath became as bother as his lungs screamed for oxygen and soon, Aiko, was panting anxiously, waiting for Shin's rosy lips to touch his. His eyes traveled to the other teen's eyes and settled on his lips.

 

Exasperation over took him and his panting grew, not to mention the waves of desire that now washed over Aiko "P-please kiss me" he begged the other after what felt like a million years of wait.

"Please" the words were so daring he couldn't believe himself, but Aiko was sure of one thing... he wanted this kiss badly.

It felt as if his body was set aflame at the unexpected and intoxicating words from Aiko's mouth. Those murmuring lips, he yearned for them so badly. Little by little, his self-control was being eaten away. He was the one who had become the prisoner instead. It was only a millimeter distance. His hands shook slightly as he tried so hard to fight off the irresistible stimulation.

 

Then suddenly Shin let a long breath out as the tensed muscles went into relaxation. "I am very sorry. It seems my joke has gone too far." He bumped his head softly with the other's while he held it and ruffled the guy's hair. "Let's go for maybe a double date when you're free? I happen to know some hot but good girls," Shin winked at Aiko.

 

'He might get angry with me after this. I was being so mean, wasn't I?' he thought. At first, he was sure of what he was doing- teasing Aiko a bit. As it went on, a surge of strange feelings welled up in him. Regardless of being a playboy, Shin had never loved anyone for real before. He was uncertain if those feelings were love or just a player's whim and thus could not go as far as to kiss the other. That would've been too cruel.

 

However, despite everything, his heart felt unusually heavy.

Watching the over a rush of disbelief hit Aiko. He wasn't sure whether it was disappointment or actual hurt, but he knew that his chest felt heavy and breathing became harsh.

'Unbelievable' he tells himself as he feels Shin's hand run through his hair and then speak some more.

 

'Seriously' he continues to say, but only to himself for his lips felt so shut together it was almost fictional. Shame then took the place of any other feelings that had lingered. His words had been more than unnecessary.

'What did you honestly think he would do that?' he asked himself now feeling anxiety kick every corner of his brain.

 

Luckily for Aiko the wheel was beginning to approach the bottom little by little, and his own mind felt dark. everything in his vision was dark, and the words that Shin had been saying stopped being processed by Aiko.

 

"Sounds good to me" he answers now, not a hint of sadness or disappointment in his voice "I've been trying to get a girlfriend actually" now he chuckles "but I love my books more than humans" .

The door to the cart was opened and he walked out his composed completely positive as if nothing had ever happened.

But on the inside Aiko felt dead and devastated.

Feeling embarrassed, ashamed and all kinds of things difficult to face Aiko, he got out of the cart first. "Sounds good to me," the guy said, with a composed tone which echoed in his ears. He wondered what kind of face the other would be making. He still hadn't the courage to turn back and look straight at Aiko though.

 

After walking some distance with silence, Shin thought going to more places would be tiring. He turned and asked the other smiling, "Um, would you come with me for dinner? I want to thank you for today." Being afraid the guy might turn down the offer, "Okay?" he insisted.

 

'I should get some drinks for myself after this,' thought he as the day had been so complicated for him.

His foolish heart jumped a bit at the suggestion of dinner; his head screaming date. Yet Aiko tried to brush it off, from a strangers view point this whole time could have counted for a date.

But just like Aiko, anyone could misunderstand.

 

"Yes" he said smiling brightly; even with all his confusion and sadness he knew better than to trouble Shin. It was obvious the other teen was joking and after the description of how his girlfriend had turned out Aiko decided to be a bit more...considerate.

 

The plate, from the menu, looked rather small but once it was in front of Aiko he regretted his decision. He looked back at Shin and then the plate, which was packed with food and steam.

 

"T-this is h-huge" he murmurs a blush spreading all over his face, due to the embarrassing size of the plate and the wine he had been drinking "I'm sorry I didn't mean to ask for this much, I'll take the left over home"

His eyes dragged back to Shin's face but he found himself going crazy every time their eyes connected.

He felt relief at the sight of Aiko's cheerful face and approval. 'Thank goodness. He didn't mind very much about the thing before,' Shin sighed secretly feeling active again.

 

They both went to a decent restaurant. Apparently, Aiko received a larger serving than he expected. The guy's reaction was so lovely... and innocent like a kid. He chuckled, "Sure. Don't force yourself." Unknowingly, his eyes were stuck on the other watching whatever cute movements he made and realizing this only when his eyes met the guy's.

 

"Are you sure you can hold your alcohol?" Shin asked the other as he had already had a lot of wine. "If you fall unconscious, I might have you spend the night at my house," he said without blinking to Aiko and with a wicked smile. Looking back down at the plate, "as I don't know your address," he continued.

 

Then Shin suggested another idea, "Or we can continue at my house since it'll be dangerous to drive while drunk." He smiled at the guy.

Between all the factors affecting Aiko, he did t bother to deeply analyze the others invitation and easily agreed before signing in.

His eyes lit up at the mix of flavors and warmth of the food, loving every last bite.

For the rest of the time there conversation was passed from one to another and Aiko found himself growing more giggly; to the point where he didn't care anymore.

"I j-just in case" he says pulling out a small notebook from his pocket and writing something down "I live here, you can't miss the house"

The information had been giving to Shin in case Aiko did faint or worse, but at the moment he didn't find any possible danger in sharing the address.

 

Outside the sun had his and a dark sky covered them. A few stars could be seen every so often and cold breeze now hit their faces.

"Thanks again" he smiles following Shin to round three of that night.

Shin opened the door and let the other in first. He put the beer cans on the table in the living room and went to the kitchen to prepare the beer match. Heading back, sight of Aiko's cheerful face with a slight smile from afar stopped him. His hand rummaged his pants pockets and found the note with the address.

 

'Why did you come to my house?' he wondered looking at the other's beautiful handwriting, 'I already tried to… kiss you,' the tempting face of the guy reappeared in his mind. 'What if I did worse things to you, Aiko-san?' he looked up at the other who was sitting innocently on the sofa. Shin questioned himself, 'would I?' In the end, he sighed, shook his head slightly and went to sit beside Aiko.

 

"Let's forget everything else just for tonight," said he handing a can over to the other. After that, the cans were emptied very quickly mostly by him.

 

Although all along it had only been his hatred for his father driving him to play around with girls, there were a few times when he acknowledged his inner self wanting to find someone to love, truly.

 

Shin was more than tipsy but still fully conscious. However, trying to get up carelessly, his drained legs lost balance.

"Sure!" he agreed to it happily fuzzing around. Aiko managed two before he felt himself growing into and unconscious state were fuzzy feelings began to appear and his mind was blank.

He did notice though, how Shin had switched to heavy drinking and worried that the other would over do it for himself. And then he managed to get up to only fall.

 

Reaching up for the other he managed to get his hands around Shin's torso before he too was pulled down by the heaviness of the others body.

 

"Ahh...I-i'm sorry" he replied finding balance on his arms "I feel too"

"Woah…" his body swayed as he tried to find something to hold onto. Just when he felt relief as Aiko hugged to stop him from falling, it got worse and they both fell onto the sofa with him above Aiko. The mind and body that the alcohol sedated became alert again. His heart was racing and flustered. Though inwardly he was saying he was sorry too but no word made its way out. Shin locked eyes on the other scanning every little detail on Aiko's face.

Suddenly, without giving any thoughts, he lips reached for Aiko's and before the guy could understand what was happening, he kissed those mumbling lips, not letting them escape for even a split second.

It felt like a million glasses had shattered in Aiko's ears, from shock and surprise. His chest ached suddenly at the feeling and remembering what had occurred only a few hours ago.

 

His head went in all directions as if a storm had been released, thoughts and questions building up by the second.

'Why?'

'Why?'

 

Although his eyes remained opened due to surprise his lips did not obey and joined Shin's in a soft rhythm that sent soft shivers down his spine.

Slowly his hands came up to wrap around the other's firm body and tightly hug him. His eyes tightly closing and giving in. Every sense and though gone as he too kissed back
