alexia__
Kahoke knew Youkine had not won and it had wounded his pride. But he wanted to know what hurt Youkine and what he felt, everything. "So what happened?" asked Kahoku with a serious face. The atmosphere began to change, and so did Youkine's face. It scared Kahoku until he saw his 4 year old self reflected on Youkine's face. Yet this time he was not the only one hurting 'Bad subject" Kahoku made a mental note to not retouch it. Quickly walking across the room to were Youkine stood, Kahoku wrapped his arms around the taller swimmer's torso and squeezed "I'm sorry.. im sorry i dont want to know forget it" he hugged tighter. andredmcampos
"I'm sorry.. im sorry i dont want to know forget it" he hugged tighter. --You deserve to. - He said with a deep breath. Youkine messed up Kahoku's hair a bit, his eyes gazing into the distance. --It happened two years ago. I had just beated You on the 400m regionals and got a record time for me, even. I was feeling over myself, invincible. Then Yokohime came up with this idea: "Well, I'm a ciclist, You are a swimmer and Nagizawa is a racer. We should team up and try for the Ultraman. What's the worst that could happen?". "Well", I said, "We lose". So we started training for it. My sister's fiancée taught me some advanced breathing techniques and I completely focused my training. The fated day came, and there we went, all happy-go-round, thinking that no wall could hinder us, that no limit could break us. He hugged Kahoku back, his voice struggling to keep his tone as Youkine tried his best not to cry on the memory --Well, that wasn't the worst thing that could happen, sadly. I tried so hard my body gave up. After forcing my breath to the best of his abilities, and ignoring the hint to give up and ask for rescue if I ever felt numbness, I pushed myself to the limit. I managed to get to the 5km mark, a record for my age, but that took it's toll. I wasn't able to continue and almolst passed out, hugging out the mark for dear life. I was rescued, but that was the limit I could never break. - - - Updated - - - Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links.
alexia__
"Y-Youkine why not try again , I mean i shouldn't be talking since i basically pulled one of those too but you're strong really strong ... stronger than then and you have had so much more practice if you try again, at least keeping your safely in mind this time, i'm sure u can make it a bit further than before. You see Youkine you've been thinking of it wrong all this time" Kahoku looked at Youkine's deep eyes "No one said it had to be dome completely the first time, why not try to improve each time until you reach the end and then try again and again, until every time after that you have enough power to swim all of it and more' Kahoku's voice had risen with in volume showing deep feelings and hope for his lover. " I truly do believe that you can do it, the pain will make you stronger! I-if you try again and beat your last record I'll move on from my stage fear and perform for you in front of a humongous stage! , therefore! Yuoikine for me, do it for me! train for me! become stronger for me !" kahoku had never said anything so passionate before, he assumed it was because he could relate, but he didn't want Youkine to regret it like he had done, a tear ran down his left cheek Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. andredmcampos
The sound of a dish breaking in the kitchen made itself heard when Kahoku spoke. Youkine looked at the distance. Kahoku could feel that the vibe in the appartament had just gone eerie. --I... I can't. An emotionless smile appeared in Youkine's face. Not the smile of fear, of sadness, but a face of someone that was too tired. A dry and bitter smile. --I don't even have the right to. Thanks to my failure, I've let down other people. My failure carried out to them. After the ten minutes penalty, our group finished up in 13th with a time difference of nine minutes and 58 seconds from the first place. Youkine stepped out of the hug and went to the kitchen, to help Kameko clean the glass from the plate she'd let fall when she heard Kahoku telling Youkine to try again. This time, she went to Youkine's room, where Kahoku was. She was whispering, with watery eyes. -Don't ever tell my brother I'm telling You this. I don't even know why, but I think You'd better know it before You step on his wounds. She took a deep breath and continued. -Since that day, Youkine could never again step on oceanic waters. Well, it would probably be more accurate to say that it happened the day after. Since that day, Nagizawa had never again spoken to him, blaming him for their loss. It must be hard to hear from your boyfriend that You were too weak... Since that happened, I've never seen his eyes shine brightly with love... Well, until today, that is. Untill You came into his life. He might be always happy and looking after other people, but that fear... That barrier is heavy on his soul. That is a limit that he unconsciously gave up on beating. alexia__
He cagged it, Kahoku knew the second he saw the sister come in he knew he made a wrong step, just as he's been doing his entire life. Why did he even try anymore? he thought repeatedly, it was ridiculous almost as if he liked the ridicule that came from it. Placing his hands on Kameko's shoulders he looked at her. She had the same eyes as his brother, same honest expressions. Kahoku managed half a smile before he let his hands fall and quickly walked out of the room, living room and finally house. Not once had he ever ran so fast before in his life, 'this time for sure he thought, not again this time is the last' adrenaline hit in various amounts and his legs ached for a break. But Kahoku continued to run, 'Not anymore....piano....piano....piano' repeated in his head. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flashback: "Listen here Kahoku you have been diagnosed with anemia" said the doctor to the boy sitting in the table with the black bags under his eyes. "The injury of the incident has caused a tremor in your right hand and it will twitch with too much work, we suggest no more piano" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes i supposed a small surgical tremor does not compare to drowning and giving up on everything that is important in your life, but is not the fact that he had failed to cheer Youkine, is the fact that he had depended on him for his own happiness. Kahoku reached for the front door and unlocked it, slamming it closed and running up the stairs. "To help Youkine i must help myself" he quickly grabbed a black trash bag and slammed his closet door open. 'Go away! go away! go away! every last one of you' Throwing every trophy into the bag not caring if they broke in the process. He ran down stair and slammed the bag next to the trash can in front of his house. His anger rose as one of the yellow pieces stood out. He kicked it. Hard and violently until his foot hurt. "You...!" he screamed Going back inside he closed the door, is a good thing his mom was going out for business and the house was for himself, he wouldn't want this display to be seen by anyone. Removing his pants, shirt and throwing his phone on top of them Kahoku back dipped inside the pool and began to sink to the bottom allowing the cold water to cool him. 'Why had I depended on Youkine to re-open my musical door, I'm such a coward that couldn't even help his lover or himself' he though as his eyes welcomed darkness. andredmcampos
Kameko knelt down on the ground, crying. Her heart felt like it would be ripped off from her body, like she had destroyed her brother's only chance to be happy. She felt like the worst person in the world. She betrayed her brother's trust and scared off his new boyfriend. At that moment, she saw her smartphone showing 1 unread message. On the kitchen floor, Youkine was the one on the ground, the apathetic look on his face giving his sadness away. Tears run down his cheeks. He went and did it. He broke Kahoku's dreams with his own sorrows. Maybe that was it. Maybe he wasn't worthy of Kahoku's love. Maybe he really was greeding for something he should not have. Maybe he really was aiming for something he had no right to have. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The day before, somewhere else. A buzz cut of the silence of the night. That buzz, however, was already expected. The smartphone was beside his bed, and he quickly grabbed it to look at the message: I really think You should not call. Leave the past in the past, he even got someone new. --So that's how it is, uh? Well, there was still a card up his sleeve, it would just depend on that someone's answer. The second buzz came in, this time it had to be him. Fine. I'm up for it. But it better be worthy. A smile appeared on his face. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Going back inside he closed the door, is a good thing his mom was going out for business and the house was for himself, he wouldn't want this display to be seen by anyone. Kahoku was letting himself drown again, the welcoming peace of the water almolst ready to take him. He was about to let his consience flow into the water when the sound of someone jumping in the water. "It must be Youkine", Kahoku thought, "He's here for me again". He didn't remember much, but his eyes opened to welcome sunlight. For a second, he was sure Youkine was in front of him, but the face he saw was not Youkine. His hair was clearer, so were his eyes. He had a determined look on his face, but at the same time a worried one. His hair was longer then the picture, but it was definetively the same guy he saw on Youkine's portrait; the one called Yokohime Sesui. --Oi. - his voice was strong and energetic - I don't know what You might have done to get the bad side of Miss Kameko out, but killing yourself is not the answer. As he said that, he lift a smartphone and showed it to Kahoku Hey, We're gonna pay You a visit, hope your adress is still the same. I'm here. Soooo... There is this guy running away from Your place... Please, go after him. I'm afraid I've broken the poor guys's feelings. Stop him from doing anything reckless --Lucky us none can overrun a ciclist in solid ground, uh? Yokohime: Back in Youkine's place: --So... - a strangely familiar voice said - I was told I would be coming back to find a swimmer on his prime form, and yet this is what I find? Youkine turned around to see the newcommer, his eyes opened wide. --Nagizawa? Nagizawa:
alexia__
The other guy had placed a hand on Kahoku's shoulder but it was quickly slapped out "Don't touch me, and i wasn't trying to kill myself" Kahoku walked to the shore and lifted his body up until he was out of the pool, walking towards the patio closet, he grabbed a pool robe and wrapped it around himself. "Is illegal to walk into peoples houses get out!" demanded Kahoku. Normally his foul hated side would not show, but he was known in school for that attitude, because of Youkine he had been pretty decent with the way he spoke, but now there was no need to hide his true self. "Oi oi don't be like that, well lets not be strangers then... uh I'm Yokohime nice to meet you" smiled the taller guys "Pss nothing nice about it, now leave" lifting an eye brown at the other boy, Kahoku pulled his hair back and took in some oxygen. "You're Youkine's friend correct, why don't we go back, killing yourself is not the answer" repeated Yokohime. "Listen here you moron! human's can suffocate themselves is a mechanical defense of the body it will not allow you, therefore for the second time!! i was not trying to kill myself" snapped Kahoku. Grabbing the other guys shirt he pulled at him until they had reached the exit of the house. " Listen here if you're such a good friend go do what I can't, leave" breathed Kahoku through his clenched teeth and slammed the door on the others boys face. "Well nice to meet you too Mr.Doctor!" screamed the cheerful guy from outside the door. Kahoku's father was a doctor and all his life he had heard the term of 'future doctor to be' it was irritating. "Shhh~ whatever" whispered Kahoku as he laid in the pool chair and pulled his head back. He really wanted to be alone, truly desired so but if that guy showed up, some other of Youkine's friends would show up too. Kahoku picked up his phone and dialed. 'I'll like a small suit... yes....yes....I'll be getting there sometime today..... yes thank you.....see you then' He usually ran away to his uncles hotel so tonight he would sleep there. andredmcampos
--What are You doing here, Nagizawa? Youkine's voice was leaving the sad side and getting irritated. --Well, we came here to try and bring You back to Your old, competitive self. --We? - said Youkine - What do You mean by "We"? Yokohime is here too? Where is him? Nagizawa took a step ahead and sat himself before the table. --Well, someone - he said, looking right at Kameko - told him to go chase some sort of runaway guy. Youkine looked at Kameko, rage in his eyes. --Are You part of... Part of this? --No! - she answered - they merely told me a message saying they would come, I tried to stop. Besides, I've only asked Yokohime to look after Kahoku. --So, who's the kiddo? - asked Nagizawa bluntly. ---MY BOYFRIEND -said Youkine, not sure if he ment to say something good about Kahoku or just plainly offend Nagizawa. --Oh, that certainly looks fine, allright. And why was he running away? --Why do I even have to answer anything to You? - he answered - You're the one who decided I'm too weak! --Well, You sure look weak when You're here raging at me while your sister sent someone to try and help your boyfriend. - Youkine moved like to stand up, but Nagizawa continued - What will You do, thou? I know your ways, mr. "Let's not talk about my problems, let me help You". You might put up your mascara for as long as you please, but the facts are the facts, You are weak when it comes to your own emotions. Youkine stood up and grabbed his smartphone, walking outside of the room dialing Kahoku's number. while he went to the small corridor in front of the appartamente "Please answer, please answer, please answer"
alexia__
Kahoku was so pissed of!! He wanted to tell that guy off so bad, he was so annoying with that little mocking face of his. The only reason he didn't say anything was because he was probably a better friend to Youkine than Kahoku knew and he did not want terms between the two swimmers to go any worse. A small bag containing 2 shirts and pants was waiting at the door as Kahoku finished drying off his hair. "This depressing ass house is driving me insane" spoke Kahoku out loud. Grabbing his phone charger a suit and some sheet musics he headed to the kitchen when his phone went up. He placed the stuff on the closest table to him and picked it up .....unknown number "I swear if is that guys again" said Kahoku as he answered.... "Hello?" andredmcampos
"Hello?" Kahoku's voice on the other side of the line sounded really irritated, Youkine's voice was completely off. He seemed to be crying. --Kahoku. It's me, Youkine, I'm sorry, I... I... What? What could he say in his defence? "I love You"? Kahoku already knew that. "I want You to love me", the answer would be the same. "Please come back?" What reason had Kahoku to. The phone went silent while Youkine's sobs and tears could be heard on Kahoku's side. In the end, a final, resolute sentence came from Kahoku's voice. --I'm weak. Kahoku fell in his knees, the phone sliping from his hand and hitting the ground, breaking and effectively ending the call. And then Youkine disappeared. For the next three weeks, neither Youkine nor Kameko would be found in their appartament. The silent left a sour taste behind, and lasted the whole of three weeks. And then, one day, Kameko was at Kahoku's door, ringing the doorbell, her face sad and sober.
alexia__
Youkine had disappeared from the face of earth and that was the only way Kahoku could explain it. After the call had ended Kahoku returned to the hotel and stayed there until his mother returned 3 days later. He tried reaching Youkine by phone and visited his house every week and at one point he had found himself walking by every day to see if he was back. The longing and irritation had driven Kahoku insane. "How dare he leave" was his first reactions "Screw Youkine" was the next, followed by complete spurts of anger at anything that he found annoying. He refrained from showing it at home until a fight broke on the street and Kahoku had pouched the day lights out of a guy jamming his wrist in the progress. His mother was worried but he was to angry to worry about a stupid injury and had even started jogging to release stress. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- That morning he was about to leave when the door bell rang, Kahoku had just finished wrapping up his wrist in a small cast when he found himself face to face with no other than Kameko. He was frozen at first, but came back to reality from the obvious pain that emerged from his still healing wrist. "Get in" he told her. He wasn't trying to be polite but he really really wanted to hear this. Wanted to hear the pathetic excuse that had cost him his wrist for month to come. 'Next time i will break my whole hand in Youkine's face' though Kahoku as he stared at the small women. "So" said kahoku out loud "Where should you begin....?" andredmcampos
"Where should you begin....?" Where should she begin? That was a question that kept lingering in Kameko's mind. She was looking at the tea cup Kahoku served her out of politedness. Her voice was weak and unsteady, her eyes those of someone who've been crying for days. --I'm not here to try to explain his reasons to You. A few tears rolled down her face. --Well, truth be told, I'm here to beg. I know I have no right. I shouldn't ever have stepped in, but I was afraid, and now... She used the back of one hand to dry her eyes. --On that day when he decided he would run the Ultraman again, he told me he had to get strong for You. He told me that he wouldn't bear to look You in the eye knowing he was so weak. He told me he was gonna train and bring the competition down. I thought it was good, healthy even, so I supported him, but I told him he should tell You something before we left for our parent's, but he said he didn't have the guts to face You after what he did to You... The tears were back on her face. --On that night we were back at our parent's. And at that night, already, things started going sour. Youkine and Nagizawa had a fight, since he saw Nagizawa's support as a means to try to reapproach him, and told him he did not feel anything for him, that he had to focus on the swimming. I thought he was a bit paranoid, but still, he was focused, that had to be good, right? And then... She started sobbing, the tears making themselves harder to clear each time. --And then he started pushing even Yokohime aside. He didn't want noone to interrupt his training. Even I was feeling him harder to reach. That was the first time I noticed something was off. She stayed silent for a few seconds, mustering the courage to continue the report. --Then, two days ago, he came out to our parents and told them he loved a guy. He never did that. He said he would never do, that there was no need, that he was OK with only me knowing. And yet he told them... he told dad... He told him he loved You, that they would better accept it. He was willing to fight the whole world if he could be with You. He and dad had a huge fight on that night, and he decided to run away from home. I tried to stop him, but even I couldn't reach him anymore. Before he left, I told him to call You. I told him that if he was that ready to face off against the world, he should talk to You. He told me he didn't have the right. That he was still too weak. He told me that he would do anything to hear your voice again, to hear You play the piano again... To have Your kiss again. But that he couldn't, he was still too weak. Now she was outright crying. --From that moment on, I haven't heard from him. Yokohime told me searched him, but that he told him to go back, that he should organize things at home first, that there would always be another ultraman if he was so willing. That's why, Kahoku, I beg of You. She put the tea beside her chair and knelt on the ground, her hands and head on the floor in front of Kahoku's feet. --I beg You, rescue Youkine. Bring him back from that dark place where I can't reach. Please, I beg You. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links.
alexia__
He had been so focused on trying to stay out of darkness that he didn't notice that his other half was already there. Although his pathetic heart was screaming like a girl due to the words he just heard his head had a more devilish plan. 'Oh yes' he thought 'I won't just punch Youkine I'm going to beat the shit out of him' Sighing he went to a cabinet near by and took a packet of tissues. Helping Kameko off the floor he handed her the tissues and tried to sound sweet. "Don't worry I know exactly what to do to get him to return just lead me to where you think he is and I will find him" said Kahoku out loud. But inside his brain many demonic fires were lighting up 'Just you wait you bastard ...just you wait'. A devil full smile spread across his face as he looked away from Kameko. "Let's go get him shall we" he said happily hidding behind his to well used mask. Kameko looked much better, as if the world had been lifted from her shoulders, at this though Kahoku fell truly happy, girls shouldn't be sad. The drive was long, too long for Kahoku's liking and his butt became numb in the car but his anxiety grew as they got closer . 'I can feel you close by, haha' though Kahoku as the car came to a sudden stop. They walked several miles until a house came to view. It was fairly large, colored like the sea sand and styled Japanese old. This slightly impressed Kahoku, his parents like Western styled houses and that's how his was designed so no Japanese loveliness to match in it. "Before we go can I change to shorts and sandals, we are at the beach after all" said Kahoku. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once changed he walked out side his body felt fresh; jeans and a shirts did not belong in the beach after all. As he made his way to Kameko he noticed 2 guys talking to her, one being the house intruder, frowning Kahoku approached Kameko. "Let's go" said Kahoku dryly "A-ah its you, remember me!" said Yokohime happily. Making a small vain pop on Kahoku's side. 'I wish i didn't' he thought , but no direct words were said. Another bright headed guy stood giving a directed eye at Kahoku, but not being one to fear a challenge Kahoko entwined eye contact with him. "You actually look more annoying that this one" said Kahoku out loud. 'Oops that came out, what ever' he thought The other, surprised by the sudden attack, lifted an eye brow "At least I don't run away from my boyfriend" he replied. Although this should've offended him Kahoku found himself laughing hysterically like a mad man. He hadn't heard that term in a while, maybe because 'boyfriends' didn't exactly run away.(literally) "Ah yes boyfriend, hehehe, sorry is just that.... are you stupid?" asked Kahoku "I'm astonished at the fact that you can actually direct that to me, weren't you the one forcing Youkine and calling him weak, Yet!" added Kahoku stopping Nagisawa from saying his thoughts " you are the one that can't stop him from committing physical suicide, psss" again Kahoku began to laugh "God you're such a fucktard, hypocrite! aren't you the weak one? it sure seems to me like you love lowering people down with words to make up for your pathetic selfish attitude those are nothing but disgusting humans" said Kahoku with a dark gaze that reflected his disgust and hatred for the blonde boy that had once owned Youkine's happiness. "Let us go Kameko I have a hand to break against Youkine's face" Although a lot of conversation was going to be needed to return Youkine, and Kahoku was slightly confident about it, Kameko looked like she might regret not bringing some ice with her. andredmcampos
Nagizawa was about to reply to Kahoku's insult going physicall, but Yokohime stoped him, watching as the boy walked away. --Just watch, Nagi... I have a strange feeling. The beating of his wings shall conjure a storm over the ocean, but I dare any rock stand in his path, and I dare any ice have not melted when his fury is trough... And what a calm ocean it will be, then. Nagizawa looked back at Yokohime, not a word said back. Kameko led Kahoku trough some walk on the beach, trough a path of rocks after wich the sand became more and more thin. Half an hour went by before they could see the ocean closing in from both sides, forming the tip of a peninsula. At the border of the sand was Youkine, having not yet seen them. The water caressing his feet. When he turned towards them, Kahoku noticed his eyes. They were almolst lifeless, like all the heat was taken away from them. alexia__
'You dumb ass people are not supposed to swim with a dead soul' thought Kahoku as he saw Youkine's eyes, but Kahoku' face did not show any reaction. "Thank you for bringing me here, you can go back now....please" Kahoku watch as Kameko left them behind and he waited until she was nowhere in site. 'Good didn't want sister seeing her brother getting beaten up' Lifeless and without expression Kahoku walked towards Youkine. he noticed the swimmer had become tanner and his muscles popped more, his hair was a tangled mess due to the salt waters, eyes....dead. "Shame it didn't have to come to this, only these stuff happen when you listen to stupid friends" whispered Kahoku under his breath. Kahoku prepared his aching hand that demanded relief, though he wanted this pain so it would remind him of how he got back Youkine, of the please of the quick blow he would infuse in bare seconds. The 2 were now face to face, eye to eye. Body only inches from each other and heart... across the glove from each other. Now that he could recall the only time they had truly connected had been on their sex morning, Youkine never did open his heart to Kahoku, and it made him boil with fear and terrific boiled anger. Kahoku's hand increased momentum and his right leg stepped back to slightly get the perfect angel on Youkine's face. Closing his fist hurt like hell but his joy will be there momentarily when he makes this blow. Close...close...close Kahoku's hand moved quickly towards Youkine's lifeless face and suddenly .... centimeters away from Youkine's cheek Kahoku's hand froze. It slowly fell to reveal, a brilliant pair or green eyes being hit by the powerful sun rays, slightly parted pair of rosy lips and a handful of clear sky tears running down those emerald radiant colored eyes. andredmcampos
"Kahoku?" The thpughts echoed in Youkine's mind. . .. ... "Kahoku". That tought felt new. . .. ... --Ka... Kahoku. - sad Youkine. It somehow felt like he was waking up from a long sleep. Suddenly, like a voice calling him from afar, he heard it. Kahoku was crying. Youkine blinked as he looked down towards the smaller swimmer, and his eyes regained the brightness of days gone by. --Kahoku. Youkine fell to his knees, hugging Kahoku. For the first time since they'v e met, Youkine felt small. He felt helpless. --Kahoku. What have I done? What have I done to You? I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. Youkine was now crying, too. Apologizing. --I should never had left You, but I felt so weak, so powerless. Youkine wanted to scream to the whole world that he loved him, that that boy was the love of his life. --How could I not see that my weakness was letting You crumble? How could I not see that my helplessness was letting You get away from me. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for being weak and I'm sorry for being helpless. And I'm sorry for running away. I broke my promisse to You, how can I ever hope to repay You?
alexia__
Kahoku joined Youkine in knees when he heard those words . How could I not see that my weakness was letting You crumble? How could I not see that my helplessness was letting You get away from me. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for being weak and I'm sorry for being helpless. And I'm sorry for running away. I broke my promisse to You, how can I ever hope to repay You? His hands, now wrapped around the larger swimmers neck, tightened. "D-dont leave" gasped Kahoku "Just stay, you don't have to prove anything to anyone all you've ever needed was your family and you have it, you have me also I'm here, just don't leave anymore" subbed Kahoku at the base of Youkine's neck. Feeling the hot sun burned skin and the large hands around him, made him melt in love and desired affection. Not knowing he had wanted this for so long Kahoku pressed himself closer to Youkine, making himself so happy to be there. He reflected on all the days he had passed by the apt. and the boy had not been there, Kahoku remembered now, he hasn't felt anger he felt extreme pain that crushed every organ in his body. But now, he was full . Kahoku grabbed Youkine's face in between both hands and closed him eyes. A small kiss was placed on Youkine's kiss, the kiss had tempted Kahoku for more so he continue to repeat his actions over and over on the other boys lips. "I love you" he caught himself repeating after every small action.
andredmcampos
"Just stay, you don't have to prove anything to anyone all you've ever needed was your family and you have it, you have me also I'm here, just don't leave anymore" --I won't. I promisse. Youkine stopped the flurry of kisses from Kahoku with his hand, delivering to Kahoku the most passionate kiss he ever had. When their mouths distanced themselves, Youkine's hand touched Kahoku's hand, their fingers entwining. --But for now, come. There is a world we have to face off against. And I will need Your strength to do it. The two of them walked back towards the house, and midway trough the beach, Kameko, Yokohime and Nagizawa were waiting for them. To the sight of their holding hands, Kameko immediately darted towards them, hugging them both. A few steps back, Yokohime was approaching the coulpe, he made a reverence towards Kahoku, saying. --Listen, I know we were off to a bad start and that I might have overreacted after seing Kameko's words... But You're my friend's boyfriend, so... Shall we be friends? He positioned his hand in 'shaking hands' position towards Kahoku, but the boy pulled him towards a colletive hug with him, Youkine and Kameko. When the group finished the hug, Nagizawa was looking towars Youkine, their eyes sustaining each other. --You understand now? - Nagizawa asked. Youkine thought for a few seconds, before answering. --I think I do. Nagizawa smiled. --Well, finally. You were never weak of arm or weak of heart, neither were You weak of will. Your weakness... Your one big weakness, was your lack of self-love. How can You love someone when You don't respect Yourself. The day after we lost the run, You were sulking so badly and closing off so hard. I tried to tell You that You were bigger then that, that You were stronger then those 5km... That there would be another ultraman. --But I wouldn't let You reach me... - Youkine completed. --You were always like that. - Kahoku didn't know if it was sun effect or actually a tear he saw coming down from one of Nagizawa's eyes. - You were always the first to help other people, but You would never let we help You. You wanted to stay like a tower, without noticing that destroying yourself, You would destroy us. --But back at our house - Kameko started. --He said what had to be said - interrupted Youkine. - I was the one skulking so hard that I wouldn't run after Kahoku. I needed a wake up call. --But nothing gets trough that thick head of yours, does it? - completed Nagizawa. --Well, then maybe we should all call it a truce... - Started Yokohime. --I'm sorry, Yoko. - said Nagizawa - You were right. The one to calm the ocean within Youkine's heart was this boy. His wings brought up a storm, and I would be a fool to stand in his way. Youkine tested a step towards Nagizawa, to apologize for never having understood him, but the purest smile showed up at the blonde's face. --I was never fit for You, Youkine, I know that much. I love You too much to allow myself to be cheering right now, but I also love You enough to know that You belong with that Kahoku guy. He's the angel that could get the shadows away from your soul. He turned his back and started walking towars the main street, waving his hand, a last sentence said: --I will be here at the Tag Ultraman, thou. If the three of us are still a team, You should show up and show those guys the power of training. Let's be the younger trio to ever get first place on this competition! After saying that, Nagizawa walked away. Kameko, then, brought up something that Youkine had let slip. --Well, we shouldn't celebrate just yet. The Monster of Umbaba Cave has yet to fall. You told dad he'd better get ready to accept your love for Kahoku, but are you guys ready to face him?
alexia__
Surprising new change of character arouse between all of Youkine's friends bringing peace to Kahoku's mind. 'You really are not alone' he thought. It was lovely to see their familiar talk and the light atmosphere emerging from them. Later Kameko spoke to Youkine about their father, Kahoku knew a harder storm was about to hit because of the different views people might have of their relations ship...plus he wasn't good with introductions. 'Would he even tell his mom?, or had she figured that out?' thought Kahoku as he made a mental note to start hinting his her of what Youkine had become. Looking at Youkine's face once could tell his cheerful colors had returned and his passion as well. SMiling Kahoku decided that his job for that day was over he had officially made a step away from his own darkness by helping Youkine, in a way a way huge impact was made. Kahoku looked to his right and watched as the tired sun was near setting time 'I been here for quite some time' he thought as he took in all the vivid colors. A quick spurts of vibration erupted in Kahoku's leg and he reached for him phone. it read 3 NEW MESSAGES Surprised that his mother had sent him so many he unlocked the screen to answer and realized that it was not who he had initially thought. 1) Inoue-kun how are you! I'm coming into town for a small performance I'm inviting Violet and Rosy-sama 2) Heyy are you there? Will you come and perform for us 3) Are you still sulking about the piano? Have I gotten better hahahahaha! Although the messages looked friendly enough they landed on Kahoku like a bomb and made him sick to his stomach. 'No' he thought. 'I have to deal with this' Soon realizing his reaction might attract Youkine's eyes he put the phone away and quickly tried to forget. "It seems a hurricane is approaching" whispered Kahoku
andredmcampos
"It seems a hurricane is approaching" Listening to that single phrase from Kahoku, Youkine put his hand on Kahoku's head and looked at him, smiling. --So what? We'll face it like we've faced everything up to now... Together. He then looked at the otheres --Plus, I'm sure mom will be by our side. And we've got two of the best supporters a guy can ask for! Youkine retook Kahoku's hand, fingers entwined and looked him in the eyes: --Really now, You do have the wings of a thunderstorm. The four of them walked back to Youkine and Kameko's house, Youkine and Kahoku holding hands like true boyfriends. When they got there, a man was waiting for them. Kahoku could notice where did Youkine 's hair come from, and his eyes, and his big body. If Kahoku ever tried to imagine how would Youkine be twenty to thirty years from now, that was the image he would get to. Youkine's father was a mariner, and his military body was well defined and muscular. --You are Kahoku, I take it? You and Youkine, come inside. His voice was demanging and strong. alexia__
How do you break to your father you're gay? Many parents wouldn't see anything wrong or would be happy if their children are happy. Although that view has formed over over generations many parents feel their pride hurt in such cases, even to question, where they went wrong? As if there was something to be ashamed of, as if it even mattered. Youkine's father gave the impression of a pride hurt parents, yet he also seemed like an internal battle was happening within him. It did no good for Kahoku's frightened heart. Introductions werent his thing. Kahoku took this chance to think how his own father might react; truth be told he was an open man being a doctor did that to you plus his father was such a cheerful guy he'd probably end up backing a cake for Youkine, 'my family will be easy then' thought Kahoku. The inside of the house was lovely, extensive Classical Japanese adornaries hung and made the over all picture. Not being used to such sights Kahoku took mental pictures of everything as they procedeed throughout the house. He felt Youkine's hand closed around his one last time and he smiled. The day outside was ending and only sharp strands of light remained.
andredmcampos
Youkine's father led them to a square room that resembled the square room in Youkine's appartament the same way a mansion resembles a dollhouse. The bog and spacious room gave sight to a traditional japanese garden, well preserved and cared. The woman beside Youkine's father (Youkine's mother, Kahoku assumed), sit in a very educated and traditional position, being followed by his father. They gestured towards Youkine and Kahoku to sit, and Youkine did so, indicating for Kahoku to follow his actions. Tne father looked at the boys's hands entwined, and allthough that activated Youkine's instinct to let go, he decided to face it, and held Kahoku's hand even stronger, to the point of hurting. Youkine's father had four traditional clay cups beside him, and a bottle of Rice Wine. He poured a bit of sake to himself and looked towards Kahoku. --Do You drink? After the polite question and Kahoku's answer (in case he accepted, Youkine's father would pour sake for him, too, in case of refusal, he would just put the second glass aside), the silence in the room became so dense and eerie that it could probably be cut with a knife. Youkine's mom looked worried about the result of that talking, Youkine's father drank the sake cup with a sever look on his face, and stared at the two boys at the other side of the table. --Is this who You choose to have beside You? - father asked, severely. The words looked like choosen to avoid utilizing words like "he", "him" or anything like that. He seemed to be strugling with his words, but at the same time, he looked like trying to avoid offensiveness. --Yes. - Youkine answered. - Kahoku and I... - he tried to continue but his father's voice cut him --Does it make You happy, this whole circumstance? - the sentence was almolst confusing, 'this whole circumstance'. --Honey, we talked about this, already... -Youkine's mom intervened, his hand around father's arm. Now that Kahoku could take a good look, she looked just like Kameko, having maybe twenty years more then the girl, tops. The father sighted and remade the question. --Does he make You happy? - The word he didn't sound offensive; it was more like it was a struggle for father to use it. --More then anyone ever has or ever will - Youkine answered, only. The silence came back, as the father looked down to his cup, like trying to choose words. It looked like the ages of Earth were coming and going on the outside, for all Kahoku could tell. He didn't know how much time had passed before father continued, but he knew it felt like an eternity. --Listen, Youkine - father said, looking back at his eyes - I won't pretend to understand this, neither will I pretend to not have wished You didn't turn out like this. But You are my son, and as a father, it is my sacred duty to see to it that You are happy. If this boy is what makes You happy, I will fight my beliefs and come to terms with my uneasiness. If this is who You've chosen to be beside You, I will aproove of it. Then, father turned to Kahoku, offering his hand for a shake. --Please, be a good partner for my son. I accept You and welcome You to the family, boy. --Honey - reprimended mother --I welcome You to the family, son. - corrected father.
alexia__
Since Kahoku had never dated girls before he didn't know what it was like dealing with the acceptance stage, or so he called it. Grabbing the older mans stretched hand, they engaged in a strong hand shake and Kahoku spoke up. "Thank you sir, my honor" Kahoku couldn't tell how long Youkine's father would struggle with this but Kahoku was determined to show the man that his decision was correct. Tension around the room began to lift. Outside the sun had finally set and now a soft breeze spread around the night and made the trees outside slowly dance. andredmcampos
Mother ordered pizza and Yokohime stayed for dinner with the group. As the dinner proceeded, they were all laughing and trading stories. The subjet of Youkine's sexuality was still a bit awkward around father, but mother was accepting that a lot better. By the end of the dinner, Kameko had already pulled Nagizawa's topic and Youkine admited that he and Nagizawa have dated before. Father made a weird face and said something that Kahoku felt like the only one who didn't understand. --Well, at least tell me that Minihime was really a girl and not some guy dressed up. --She was, she was... - answered Youkine. To that, Yokohime made a naughty face and asked --You checked? Youkine got tomato red again and everyone else bursted into laughter. Kahoku could only deduce that this Minihime girl was someone that Youkine also dated, but id probably wasn't that serious, since the topic sounded a lot lighter than Nagizawa's. After the dinner, Youkine's mother brought tea for everyone and one big lemon and cheese pie. Kahoku remembered that it was said, back at Youkine's place in Tokyo, that Youkine loved this pie, but with all the Ultraman crisis that followed, Kahoku never got the chance to taste it, and it was something delicious. --Well - said mother - Kameko didn't know what kind of sweet you liked, Kahoku, so I couldn't do anything special. I've made the room for both You and Youkine in his bedroom, since I guessed father would end up accepting You. --What are You, woman? - said father, joking - An Oracle of sorts? --The appleseed never falls far from the three - said Youkine to that, to what Kameko answered. --Well, thanks to MY forecasting You and your boyfriend are now official to the family, brother of mine, so I would accept some gratitude. They wer all laughing when Yokohime stood up. --Well, I got to go. My father is probably waiting for me to get home... And I should probably check on Nagizawa on the way... He's too strong to like the idea of crying in front of other people. After saying that, he looked at Kahoku and laughted. --You are a man of patterns, Youkine. After that, he left, and everyone was left to it's own rooms. The house was really big and spacious, and even had a pond and a shrine to the god of prosperity. Youkine guided Kahoku to the room they would be sharing, and what was their surprise when they found out that mother had readied the room with a single couple's fuuton. Youkine went red again, looking at Kahoku almolst mechanically. --That's a first. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links.
alexia__
A huge smile smile spread on Kahoku's face when he saw the sigh in front of him, it was so ridiculously funny that he couldn't hold out the laugh that emerged and deeply resounded around the room. "W-what the hell" Kahoku managed to say while his cheeks hit a rosy color. Taking a deep breath he look around the room and noticed the door to the left lead to a bathroom 'Good i needed a shower' he thought. "Don't sweat it we can sleep on opposite ends if it make you feel better" said Kahoku. He didn't want to think he had gone perverted since that time when he and Youkine....., well end of story is Kahoku didn't want to push the subject on Youkine even thought he had been having quite the amount of wet dreams and wouldn't mind if anything did go down. 'What the hell Kahoku! get a hold of yourself you're at his parents house, he needed to cool down' Kahoko turned around and found Youkine already staring at him. Avoiding eye contact he said "I-I been meaning to take a shower... mind if i go ahead?" Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links.
