The vampire haven't done anything the humans haven't already do to themselves. But this isn't what you want to hear, is it? You want to know why the vampires started the war, why we've stopped hiding in the shadows and driven you all to slavery and the life in hiding. Well, "we" didn't."

 

Lucius stood up and looked down upon Felix who were crying on his knees. He wanted to see Felix cry and tremble, but not like this, never like this. He wanted Felix to cry and tremble for HIM and HIM alone. He knelt before him, and said in a tone mixed with ridicule and sadness: "You said there is no logical reason, I agree. Even though we were hiding in the shadows, our existence was largely hidden from your kind. The reason for the war was not logical, it was never logical. One day a young vampire was accidentally captured by your researchers. They studied him, tortured him, cut him open, dissected him, burned him, drowned him, electrocuted him, buried him, shot him, sprayed acid on him, sprayed holy water and garlic on him, stabbed him with silver cross blessed by clerics. And you know the funny thing was? He was turned into a vampire only months ago! Before that he was as human as any of the researchers!"

 

Lucius stood up, and continued: "The vampire managed to escape, unfortunately he ran out when the sun was up. He burned under the bright sun and turned to ash. The humans thought that was the end of it and gave up, and the vampires wanted to protect themselves and forgot about the whole thing. But someone lashed out, the one who turned the young man into a vampire in the first place, who have felt every single bit of his pain through the link they had, and was prevented from doing anything to help him by his own kind. That vampire attacked the facility, made a big performance by attracting the attention of every reporter, every mass media existed in the world back then, and declared war upon humanity right there! Of course there was no logic, no reason behind his actions. There was only hatred, only a desire to see the world burn! The vampires tried to cover it up at first, but as the conflict escalate they had no choice but to join in the fight. Thus the war had begun!"

 

Lucius looked at Felix, his eyes glowing red in the dark, and smiled:"Guess who was that vampire?"

Felix looked up at him in horror..Crawling away.

"No. No. No." He repeated. Crawling backwards til hitting the wall.

"Your a digesting monster. If I could I would kill you right now.." He stood up gaining his composer through anger.

"You killed us all. I can no longer learn because of you. Tyler and Sasha! They died at your hands! I was born into this world because of you!" Felix grew anger, and angrier, seeing all the people in his life that had died or had been caught.

"YOU BASTARD!" He said running and banging on the mans chest.

"DIE! OR I"LL KILL MYSELF FIRST I CANNOT STAND TO LIVE IN THE FACE OF THE ONE WHO DESTROYED MY KINDS DESTYINY! " He yelled banging hard.

"I have three..choices, you die, you kill me, or i kill myself." HE said sternly his eyes turning cold.

"Think carefully before you speak, Felix." Lucius tapped on Felix's chest slightly, and his body was slammed into the wall.

 

"First, I won't die, I will not age and I will not take my own life, someone need to kill me. Second, I will not kill you, you are MINE and I am not bored of you yet. And third.....do you really want to die? Can you really bear the thought that you and almost everyone you've ever loved had died, while the cause of all this suffering is still here, causing more sorrow on earth? You don't want to die. You want to live, you want to learn and figure out how to kill me, you want to escape this hell hole and bring an army here to blow me up to smithereens and piss on my ashes. Isn't that right Felix?"

Felix nodded...

"I want you dead." He said sternly. HE was up against the wall.

"Why. do you toy with me. you haven't even drank from me why do you need me...why did you buy me." He asked.

He was scarred at the response. but he wanted to know...why was he there..

"That's the spirit!" Lucius smiled as he heard Felix wanted him dead. He was beginning to fear that Felix would break too quickly and easily.

 

He continued: "As for the reason I bought you, I bought you because the last human I've owned died and I needed a replacement. I WILL drink your blood, eventually. But unlike the others I don't need to feed as often, so I figured in the meantime, rather than putting you in a cage, you would provide more fun for me this way."

 

He turned around and began to walk to the other side of the room: "This talk is over. Tell me if you want to start another round of our 'game'. You know the rules. And please don't try to escape by other means, my servants guard all exits constantly. While they were commanded not to harm you, they will kill you if you try to escape outside the game."

 

Lucius sat down behind a large desk fulled with books, he picked up one of them and flipped it open:" In the meantime, you are free to roam around this building and use the unlocked rooms as you please. Call for Alpha if you need anything."

 

Lucius was about to start reading the book in his hand, but suddenly recalled something. He raised his head and said: "Oh by the way, Alpha can read and write. You can ask him to teach you if you want." Then he returned his eyes on the book.

Alpha ...Could teach me?

"Three days our next, game is three days." He hissed, walking out. He ran down the stairs to the table he had seen before wail running.

"Alpha! I need you, teach me how to read." He said stubbornly as Alpha appeared with a smile.

"Of course, let's start."

He sat down with a book.

"This type of book before the war a 5 year old could read."

Lucius smiled as he heard Felix running down the stairs. How humans can swing their mood 180 degrees just in a blink of an eye always amazed him. Perhaps that's the privilege of having a limited life-span, you don't have time to dwell in one emotion for too long.

 

Although he opened a book in front of Felix, that was simply to signal Felix to leave the room. Lucius was in no mood of reading since that talk about the war has left Lucius uneasy too. He expected Felix to feel hatred for him when he knew it was Lucius who started the war. That was the whole point! To make Felix hate Lucius enough to keep living, and keep fighting, so the game would continue.

 

But for some reason, some strange and obscure reason, Lucius thought that maybe, maybe Felix could have understood, the desire to see the world burn when someone dear was robbed away.

 

"What the hell do you expect, Lucius?" He laughed at himself, why would Felix care how did the monster felt when it started the end of human civilization? Just like a rabbit wouldn't care how hungry a wolf was when the wolf was biting its neck.

Hours had passed of Alpha trying to have him read. By the end Felix was banging his head on the table.

"I don't understand!" He yelled throwing the book on the ground.

"All you have taught me that I understand is the thing called the alphabet, the symbols on the page make no sense I know they are what you call letters but! THEY don't make sense." He said grabbing his head. Alpha let soon coming back with somthing in his hand.

"Here have some hot coco as break time." Felix nodded. He wondered what his master was doing...He want..No he needed to kill this beast..He thought maybe as the beast was sleeping that night he would make a stake and have the thing go through it's heart.

Lucius stayed in his room, skimming through the books he had. He had read them for countless times, and can almost recite any of them backwards without any pause. Usually he would just sit there, aimlessly, waiting for the time to past.

 

But today is a bit different. While still sitting, still seemingly not doing anything, through Alpha he could see, hear, feel, smell and even taste everything Felix was doing. It has been years since there was so much noise and life in this building, or around Lucius in general. Even the slight ups and downs of Felix's chest when breathing was entertaining.

 

Suddenly Lucius felt a sudden increase in heart-beat by Felix. He was thinking....plotting something....

Lucius decided to wait and pretended nothing had happened. Lucius is excited with expectation of what Felix had in mind.

More and more hours passed..soon Alpha was giving him dinner and sending him off to sleep. As the sun was coming up. After Alpha left, he grabbed the head board of his bed, which was wood, and broke it. He took out his knife he had stolen. Carving the wood, he would wait til the beast was a least some what asleep. As the hours passed in to the night well more like day. He sharpened it, going faster and faster. It was done time to sneak to his room.

Felix met with no resistance as he was sneaking into Lucius' room, where he found the vsmpire laying in bed.

 

Pretending to be asleep Lucius waited with expectation. What's he gonna do next? Sneak up on me and put a stick through my heart? Force the windows open and shower me with sun light? Show me what you've got!

Felix got to the room. He stood looking at the beast in slumber he didn't actually look that evil as he looked nice...well human.

His black hair...it looked soft and was almost glistening. Unconsisly he put his hair in the mans hair...It was soft and silkily. as Felix reapplied what he was doing, his soft grip on the hair, into a clump he pulled tightly.He raised his other hand with the stake.

"DIE BASTARD!" He screamed as he stabbed the stake into the other mans heart.

"Well that was disappointing." Lucius said with a stake thrust into his heart, or where his heart is supposed to be. He grabbed Felix by the neck and pulled him down. He flipped around and is now sitting on top of Felix. While holding Felix with one hand, he pulled the stake out with the other. He looked at it and said:

 

"Attacking a vampire during daytime while it sleeps, and thrust a stake into its heart. Classic anti-vampire strategy, and it would have worked with most of the vampires. But you know very well that I have lived for a long time and have experience with this kind of things, and you have seen me break up into thousands of little creatures at once, you should have suspected that I could change the construct of my body. I'm afraid my heart wasn't here! Breaking the window and shower me with sunlight would have been a better strategy, as its area of effect is bigger and could create a space of protection for yourself. And there is your elder-vampire fighting class 101."

 

Lucius throw the stake away, he leaned down and put his head beside Felix's. He whispered in his ear: "And now.....how do you think should I collect my lecture fee?"

The anger felix had was so much but not just at the beast but himself it...it was a stupid idea.

"NO, basterd...don't touch me." He growled as being held done.

It scarred him..all he wanted to do now was open all the windows...Get rid of this awful ass....but for some reason he did like this mans face.

He looked at it not realizing he had his hand on the mans cheek. it was soft but so cold, unlike Felix's body.

"Your skins cold."

"Did he just...touched my cheek? And what did he say? My skin is cold? Wh....What? Why?? HOW????? " Lucius thought to himself. He fell silent, and didn't know how to react.

 

"...........................................................................Trying to divert my attention? Much better plan this time. Didn't work." Lucius said coldly. He knew that Felix didn't do that out of any cold calculation, but he said it anyway. He had to be firm. He can't let Felix catch him off-guard, at least not yet.

 

Lucius thrown Felix off the bed, to the floor in front of the bed. He snapped his fingers and immediately several chains appeared out of nowhere and tied Felix on the ground, held his hands firmly in the air, and made him kneel in front of the bed. Lucius sat at the side of the bed in front of Felix.

 

"Did I mention you look great all chained up? Perhaps I should chain you up more often." Lucius smiled, he extended his barefoot between Felix's outspread legs, and began to press his legs gently against the zipper.

Felix was surprised and didm't know how to react. As the man pressed against his dick he moan. He anted to cover his mouth but he was chained. He pulled and pulled on it.

"Sure. If you so insist." Lucius smiled, and retracted his foot. Lucius walked backed to the other end of the bed and slipped himself back under the sheets. Soon he was breathing calmly and regularly as if he was asleep again.

"Maybe you're not getting this, but this is not like the reward I gave you for your 'score' in the game. This is a punishment for disturbing my sleep. So if you want to relief that dick of yours, you'd better consider how do you want to approach this matter. Of course you can always just wait till it cools off?"

Felix closed his eyes turning his head.

"But it hurts..Can't you..just let me relive myself.." He ask hesitant...He was scarred at this point.

"I thought I was a blood slave. why are you doing this to me?" He asked these past few days were so confusing..He really didn't understand what was going to happen to him.

"Not just food, not just slave, not just plaything. You will do whatever, however I wished to be done, including that game of ours. That's your purpose. As with letting you relief yourself.....Hmm........ I am a bit tired of using my foot anyway...." Lucius paused, then he snapped his finger, the chains which held Felix's hands in the air disappeared.

 

"There you go. Now go ahead. Relief yourself."Lucius said as if whispering.
