"Don't worry. I have been through worse. What about you? You are very weak now. I am going to take you back home for treatment. Well.....it's my home, I don't know how do you feel about the place." Lucius said to Felix: "It must have been....unpleasant for you."

 

Lucius flapped his wings and accelerated. Soon they've arrived at the familiar high rise bulding. Lucius flew into yhe top floor, and as usual, Alpha was waiting there.

 

"Welcome back master, and welcome back Felix." Alpha bowed submissively.

 

"You've done well maintaining the place, so I will forgive you for telling in me behind my back."

 

"Thank you master. Shall I take Felix for healing?"

 

"No....I'll do it myself."Lucius said before taking Felix to the medical room.

 

Alpha sighed in relief as he saw Lucius leaving. His troublesome master is finally dealt with, for the time being at least. But Felix's holy sword had vaporized all the ghouls and lesser familiar in the building simply by its presence. "How am I going to keep the whole building clean without their help?" Alpha thought to himself.

Felix held as tight as he could to the other, the grip was vice. His eyes were tired but he didn't want to close them it was like fighting an invisible force.

"Lucius...It was worth it...almost dyeing to save you....Im older and stronger now..." He smiled.

"You were the first to give me thing besides my parents....Lucius...."

He muttered. His face covered by the others chest..

"You'll love Peace."

Lucius took Felix to the medical room, he laid him down on the operation table.and began to tend to his wounds. There weren't too much injuries on Felix physically, and they were quickly healed by the potions Lucius used on Felix. Soon Felix's body was completely healed. But he has spent much of his life energy, which Lucius couldn't do much about. Even if he transfer his own power to Felix, it would only harm him. He took a bottle of green liquid from the shelves.

 

"Here, drink this. It can help to improve your body's natural healing mechanism. This will make your recovery faster. Have some rest. I will be here with you. I promise."

Felix nodded, taking sips of the green liquid, it tasted of bashed up leaves Felix use to make paste of for wounds.

"Lucius." He looked the other in the eyes he was just happy to finally find him. He held the others hand. His eyelids felt so heavy but he just wanted him. The others hand was cool, next to his warm skin.

"You are perfect." He smiled.

He was so happy, he closed his eyes letting sleep take over.

"I'm perfect? You certainly have a strange standard for perfection." Lucius thought to himself. He sat beside Felix as he slept. After a while Alpha appeared behind him.

 

"You should get some rest as well master, he has dealt quite some damage to you." Alpha said quietly, not wanting to wake Felix up.

 

"It's OK. I deserve it." Lucius said smiling.

 

"At least get those bloody cloths off. Even if you don't mind, there's a child around here." Alpha said while showing some clean clothing in his hand.

 

"Right....the girl..."Lucius felt the litle girl running up and down the building, enjoying her little adventures. Though he imagined that girl had probably saw her share of blood already, a vampire soaked in blood is probably still not exactly good for her upbringing. "OK, I'll change my clothes here. I promised him I won't leave."

 

Lucius brgan to take off the clothes, and Alpha was shocked to see Lucius' body was covered by countless bloody wounds, adding to his already scar-filled body. Alpha realized Lucius was more injured than he imagined, he was surprised that Lucius' body wasn't in pieces.

 

"Master! Those wounds! Ther're not healing?! "

 

"They are healing, but will probably leave a mark." Those wounds were the results of Lucius forcefully broke away from Felix's bound, pushed his muscles so far that they literally splintered apart. And rushing towards Felix who had the holy sword in his hand had let the purifying power of the sword sink in through the wounds, causing more damage within.

 

"But I would have kept the scars even if I can heal them." Lucius put on the clean clothes Alpha gave him and sat back down beside Felix, touching his face gently.

 

".......You're indeed diffucult my master." Alpha said while dumb founded by his master.

Peace ran around the house. She couldn't believe her eyes. She ran up stair and heard voices in a room once it stopped she ran in. What she saw was Felix and a man over him..Felix looked injured and not okay.

"Brother!" She yelled running to him and the other.

She gabbed his shoulders.

"Get up you ass..."

She turned to the other.

"Who are you and what the hell is wrong with him."

"Shhhhhh...."Lucius put his finger in front of his mouth and said gently:" Felix is tired and he needs to rest. Don't worry, when he wakes up he will be as energetic as ever. As for who I am.."

 

Lucius extended his hand to Peace and said: "My name is Lucius Bathory. Did Felix tell you anything about me? Like how much a pain in the ass I was?"

Peace nodded. to the be quiet part. She Lisened to the man, holding Felix's hand tight in her grip. As the other extended his, she did the same.

"Im Peace...Felix you could say adopted me." She smiled.

As they shook hands. Her short hair was messy and dirty, she was wearing I T-shirt and basketball shorts, and of course her silver cross with the spell on it to protect her. If you didn't know her, she would defiantly be mistaken as a little boy.

"He never mentioned of you Felix didn't talk of his past unless, We as in me and Jackson heard him in his sleep, yelling....always yelling out." She whispered the last part.

"Who are you to him? Also I'm sure I'm a bigger pain in the ass, literally, when we spare I kick him in the butt." She laughed. "He taught me how to read though and some spells."

"I''m not sure............I suppose I'm part of the reason he yelled in his dreams. I have done many bad things to him." Lucius turned to look at Felix in his sleep. "Felix came here for my help, so that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to help him free humanity."

Peace looked at him and cocked her head.

"Do you know magic too?" She asked. "Your gonna help us?"

She smiled Letting go of Felix'a hand and running to hug The other. She wrapped her tiny arms around the man.

"So were not alone! Jackson said there was other who would help and other who were here. You and Alpha? Jackson!" She realized after she said his name Jackson was with Felix...Where was he.

"Where's Jackson.?"

She was still hugging the other man as she asked

"He will be back soon, with a lot of friends. There're many boys and girls of your age, maybe you can help taking care of them? I'm sure you can handle it right?" Lucius smiled at Peace. He didn't lie to her, he just left out some details, such as the fact that he is a vampire, and he and Felix juSt came back from a bloody fight with each other. But he wasn't about to explain all the complications to the little girl, at least not yet.

She backed up from him and rolled her eyes.

"Of course I can fucking take care of that."She growled. "Im 7 not an infant. Now tell me the truth. Why were you the reason he yelled in his dreams." She said sternly.

Her eyes hardened.

"Why the fuck, would you do something terrible to him. He's my brother, how could you. Tell me who you really are." She was angry.

"Shhhhhh..... Don't wake him up!! My my......Felix sure has a way with children...You're as tough as he is." Lucius smiled, and continued: "It's too complicated to explain. In fact I don't even know if I can put them into words. All I can say now is I love Felix, and I will help him from now on. And that is all."

"You love him....Does that make you my second brother?" She asked happily.

Felix groaned and cliched a little before opening his eyes.

"Lucius...."He muttered.

"Felix!" She squealed happily sitting on the table thingy with him.

"Hey Peace...how are you." His voice cracked smiling.

He hugged his little sister...Felix sat up feeling dizzy. He groaned.

He stretered out and grabbed the other mans shirt, pulling him close until their lips met intertwining.

"I have waited 2 years for that."

“………！”Lucius fell silent and blushed slightly. It has been a while since he receive such pure expression of affection.For a moment he forgot to react. Then he turned to Peace and said: "Well....there you go, I guess I am your brother."

 

Lucius then turn back to Felix: "Anyway, you are still quite weak and in need of rest. I'll take you to your old room." he said while pucking Felix up.

Peace Smiled and left the room.

"Hey Im gonna go chill with Alpha, He said he would teach me how to cook." She said happily.

Felix smiled.

"Go have fun honey."

Felix held on to the other as tight as he could in this state. Since he was older he was, a lot bolder, but he still go embarrassed really easily. As Peace left he laughed.

"Peace's a good kid. Growing up with two guys she always wanted to be manlier, stronger...She a good kid." He muttered. "He Lucius can we go to your room instead I slept in it when you weren't here. I want to be with you."

"As you wish." Lucius leaned down and kissed lightly on Felix's cheek. He carried Felix to his room and laid him down gently in the bed. He hesitated for a second before laying down beside Felix. The fatigue of last two years semmed to have finally caught up with Lucius.

 

"Felix........I....."Lucius fell asleep, and for the first time in millennia he has let his guard down completely.

Felix blushed as the other kissed his cheek.

When he set him on the bed it was nice, the best was when Lucius layed down and just fell asleep in the middle of his sentence.

Felix smiled at the older man, he pulled the covers over both of them.

"Love you too Lucius."

He curled into a ball chest on the others chest, falling asleep.

Lucius woke up after a deep, long sleep. He opened his eyes and slightly stretched his body and felt no sour or pain. The wounds on him had healed, leaving only light scar tissue on his skin. He looked at he man beside him, still asleep, Lucius smiled and gently put his hand on Felix's head. Felix's hair had grown longer for the past two years, and Lucius loved it very much. He sink his fingers into the hair, touching and playing them with his fingers.

 

Lucius began to think about the future. To be honest Lucius had no idea what to do next since if everything has happened as he planned, he should be nothing but ashes right now. Since Lucius had decided to stay "alive" a bit longer, he was in desperate need of a new plan. Jackson should arrive with the humans in the valley in any moment. Alpha can help Felix train those with potential the arts of magic. While the rest can be trained in combat. While they probably have some experience in fighting here and there, it would be a completely different story if they were trained as a cohesive combat force. This place would become the bastion of the human resistance, and fuel the coming war. But there's another problem, how should "Lucius" fit into the picture? It would be strange and bad for moral if the humans knew a vampire is among them, Lucius thought that he would help Felix better if he hide in the shadow, while Felix be the light who guides the humans to victory.

Felix moaned as he awoke. He turned his head, the hand in his hair felt nice...felt right. He looked up at the older one, he looked distressed. He was thinking to much, and felix knew it. He sat up wincing..He was still weak but not ass weak as before, just sore and feverish. He leaned his head on the man, .

"Master....stop thinking so much, everything is going to work out. Master the people will see not all of your kind is bad.....You can help teach self defense and..and...I'll kill myself if you die...Master I love you." He used the term Master though they didn't have that relation ship anymore..he wanted to belong to him...He likes him...He wished when he was younger he was more mature like he was now..Lucius was the only one to believe in him.

'Felix............."Lucius turned to look at the man leaning on him. He turned slightly and hugged Felix tightly in his arms. "You don't have to call me master anymore. I'm yours and your are mine, nothing is going to change that. And I like it when you call my name. It's...reassuring."

 

Lucius then said jokingly: "Unless you want to spice things up a bit in bed, then by all means keep calling me master."

Lucius laughed slightly at Felix's confession. "Yes, I love your hair." Lucius took a tuft of hair in his hand a bring it to his nose, sniffed it a bit, then kissed it. "It looks good on you. Perhaps I should extend my hair too?"

 

Lucius then got up from the bed and said:" Come on, Felix, I think Peace has wake up, let's go have breakfast toghether. Jackson will arrive very soon, we have a lot of work to do."

Lucius kissed Felix's hair...Felix blushed his face was on fire.

"No i like your short hair." Felix put his hand throughout the others hair...

He got up. He hugged the other..

"Maybe later we could check up." He winked.

"Later?" Lucius raised his head and looked at Felix. He said smiling: "Sure. But what do you want to do right now? Come on, tell me You know I can't read your mind."
