Wolf Meets World (Pigeon and KuroBear)

[KuroBear]

He blinks a few times at the information, astounded my the severeness for something as harmless as curiosity, "Really? That's... that's not right," Moving to his dresser, Takashi looks for clothes that could fit the wolf boy, "You really want to know about us humans? To me, I don't think we're that special. In fact, your pack has the right to hate us, we're like the assholes of the animal kingdom, but I can tell you about us. But first thing's first, you're about to find out what a bathtub is." He picks up one of his shirts that had shrunken in the wash, elastic boxers and shorts, holding them in his hands as he points to the door, "Hope you didn't get too comfortable in here, because we're going into the bathroom across the hall."

Felix had already flopped down on the floor, busying himself with all the burs in his hair. "I wanna learn about humans 'cause I don't know anything about them. It's cool" A small pile of dirt and burs from his hair had already collected on the floor. "What's a bathroom?" The wolf stood up, wobbling slightly. "Is there food in there?" He bared his teeth in a smile at the idea of food. "I'm really hungry"

Takashi nearly yelps when he sees all the dirt and 'forest-things' on his floor, instead he has to hold his heart and close his eyes. Never has he seen his perfect room in such utter disgustingess! He'd have to clean the floor really well when Felix was preoccupied with food after the bath... "I'll make you something after you get cleaned up, I swear, just come with me-!" Taking the wolf's hand, he thanked god he wore gloves and dragged Felix to the bathroom, closing the door behind them and locking the door. He was damn sure that this wolf had never bathed in a tub before and he just hoped that it would be alright... wolves liked water right? He wouldn't know. He never had any pets. Why? Pets made everything dirty and may not like taking baths! "Get in there," he points to the bathtub and keeps a stern expression, "And don't come out until we're done. Understand?!"

Felix whimpered as he was pulled so roughly into the bathroom. He stared up at the human with wide eyes, whining like a dog. He slowly climbed into the tub, squirming at the feeling of the cold porcelain on his skin. "I don't like this... Are we done yet?" The wolf scratched at his hair, frowning deeply. "I think there are fleas in my hair..." he grumbled, starting to scratch harder to get the bugs out. "They're so hard to get out"

[KuroBear]

"Fleas?.... Fleas?" He had no clue if fleas went on humans, but it made his skin crawl just thinking about little bug legs in his hair and tiny teeth biting his scalp and sucking his blood... For god's sake, he didn't think he even had any flea shampoo! He never had a dog in the first place. "I'll be right back." Takashi says firmly before unlocking the door once more to quickly run and get prepared for the cleaning of the decade. Long rubber gloves, long sleeved shirt, a nurse mask, and his hair under a plastic bag, the young man hurries back in less than a minute flat, "I can't believe I let a wolf into my house with fleas... Disgusting!"

[Kotorichan]

"Where are you going?" Felix called after the human holding himself up on the edge of the tub. He stared up at Takashi, completely confused by his appearance. "What's all that stuff for? And why are fleas disgusting? It happens all the time, it's just annoying..." He scratched his hair again, trying to make the itchiness go away. "Don't you ever get fleas? Or do you have human stuff to keep fleas away?" he pulled the last bur out of his hair and dropped it in the tub.

His eye twitches slightly from the thought of humans being so uncivilized that they get fleas as often as wild wolves, "We do not get fleas... Well at least not the clean ones... Though for those unfortunate people, we do have stuff to kill those parasites." Feeling a lot more safer in the bathroom with protective gear, he comes over to the bathroom sink and opens the bottom of it, looking for anything that would help, "I've never had a single flea on me, nor any other blood sucking parasite besides a mosquito... though I guess those technically aren't parasites... Hm. No matter. My point still stands."

Felix tilted his head to the side, trying to understand the human's words. "Pay-re-sit?" he said questioningly, not understanding the human's words. The world of humans was so weird, he still didn't understand half the things Takashi said. "Can I get out of this now? it's really cold and hard... I don't like it..." He rested his chin on the edge of the tub, his mouth set in a pout. "I wanna go somewhere warm, this room is cold..." He whined, slightly frustrated.

"Believe me, it'll be very warm," Takashi smiles under his mask and leans over to the water nobs, hoping to god that this won't cause the wolf to come to a massive panic. Then they're be a bigger mess than before-- the boy's body and the bathroom itself, "These things turn on the water. This 'C' means cold. So cold water will come out of there," he quickly gestures the large tub faucet then the removable shower head, "Water comes out through there, or there. The 'H' means hot water. If you put them together, you get warm water, just as you might have guessed. I'm going to turn it on now. Can I trust you to sit still?"

[Kotorichan]

"How does the water come out? Is it... Te-cho-no-lo-gy?" Felix asked slowly, pushing his nose right up against the faucet to sniff at it. "It doesn't smell like a lake... Are you sure it's water?" He turned to look at the human, his eyes wide in curiosity. "I'll hold still, I wanna see the magic water" He said brightly. Felix smiled and let his wolf ears and tail come out, it was always more comfortable like this. His fluffy tail began to wag, thumping against the bottom of the tub. "Can I drink the magic water too?"

Nodding, Takashi took the shower head off and grabbed it firmly, "You can. It's clean water and not murky lake water. It's probably the most sanitary water you'll find in your life." Stressing that, he turns the nobs and warm water shoots out, the boy aiming it to the side, "See?" Really, it was actually pretty heart warming to show a wild animal-person the real ways of life.

Felix stared at the water with wide eyes. "It's water!" He leaned in and licked the water that was coming out. "It's warm!" He sat up straight, his ears twitching excitedly. The small amount of water had reminded him how thirsty he really was. The wolf-boy leaned in and wrapped his lips around the shower head so it sprayed directly in his mouth. He managed to swallow a few gulps before pulling away for air. "It tastes different that real water" he commented, turning to the human. "Not as much flavor"

"Water isn't supposed to taste like anything..." He mumbles in disgust, but he truly was happy for Felix, "The water you've been drinking is contaminated with gross bacteria, fungi and probably decaying materials. All that stuff in a lake. This water? It's purified, clean and it tastes like nothing... I'm glad you like it, but as soon as you finish having your fill, I will have to really start washing you." He pouts in thought, feeling he might itch non-stop if he had nothing to try and get rid of the K-9's fleas. He had to have something.

Felix wrapped his lips around the shower head for another few gulps of water. After a couple minutes of drinking he finally stopped, although all the water was making his stomach hurt. "I think I drank too much..." He whined, lightly patting his stomach. "I drank a whole bunch because I haven't eaten since yesterday..." The wolf slowly lay down on the bottom of the tub, whimpering unhappily. His pack always left him with nothing but scraps, which meant he wouldn't get any proper food for days. His most recent meal had been close to rotten, so he really wasn't feeling very well.

Frowning at the sad fact, Takashi tries to make the boy cheer up, making the water hit all over his head and wolf ears, "I can make you food for you to eat right after this, okay? I could cook you some meats, but I could also try feeding you some human food, since you like our water... Would you like to try the things I eat? If not, that's fine. It's up to you... Oh. And it won't be deer if you were thinking that. It won't be raw and bloody either." Life must really be tough out living in the forest if he hadn't eaten that long. He supposed animals had to hunt for food, and he was sure that Felix was not at the top of the pack, he ate last. He could never picture himself within a pack with animal mentalities.

[Kotorichan]

Felix whimpered, his ears flicking at the feeling of the water. He managed to sit up and leaned towards the water. The warmth was extremely comforting for the young man, he never got to cuddle with the other wolves so he rarely felt this much warmth. He closed his eyes and whimpered softly. "I don't know if I wanna eat anyth-" The wolf's words were cut off as he puked. He had never been able to drink that much at once, he usually just got a couple of mouthfuls at one time. That mixed with the rotting food in his stomach was just too much. His body shook as he wretched all over himself and the bottom of the tub, his eyes filling with tears.

Takashi stared blankly at the mix of chunks of meat and gross water, his fingers twitching as he covers his already covered mouth as if to stop his own self from puking as well, "G-God... Felix." And he thought that fleas and murky water was bad, "What on god's hellish planet was that? Is that rotted?" The question didn't come to him from looking at the meat, because he wasn't looking, it came from the god awful smell. Bringing the nozzle to the puke, the water pushes it all down by the drain, the small chunks falling in, "Warn me next time you're going to throw up, I don't want to see that! G-Gross!"

[Kotorichan]

Felix started to cry at the man's harsh words. "I-I'm sorry, no one in my p-pack left me any food so I had to eat a r-rotten fox I found" He wailed, backing up to get as far from the human as possible. He still didn't know if Takashi was going to hurt him or not. "I-I thought I was going to starve to death so I had to eat s-something..." He whimpered fearfully, cowering in the corner of the tub.

[KuroBear]

Rubbing his forehead under the plastic over his head, the older boy shakes his head and waves his hand, feeling guilty for sounding too sharp with his words, "No, I understand!" he sighs, getting water over Felix to wash away any more chunks, "I really do, it's just... you scared me. That was something I really didn't wish I saw. I promise you that you're going to eat healthy food in my house, drink clean water and you don't have to worry about who eats what first. And if you don't feel like eating by then, I make you a drink that has nutrients in it and calories." But more than that, he really just wanted him to eat something.

[Kotorichan]

"You'll let me eat food?" Felix asked softly, his eyes wide in amazement. "As much as I want or just a little bit?" His tail slowly began to wag again, the idea of having enough food to be full all the time was like a dream come true. It didn't even matter to him that it wouldn't be anything he usually ate. He wiped his mouth off on his arm, trying to get the taste of puke out of his mouth. "I wanna eat lots of food..."

[KuroBear]

"My kitchen is no all-you-can-eat-buffet, but I won't hold back from giving you a good sized meal. You're very skinny. Need some meat on your bones," with the vomit all going down the drain, Takashi felt safe enough to crouch down and grab the soap, starting to wash the wolf boy's arms, "But before I do that, I may just have to brush your teeth. Actually. I have to... If that came out of your stomach, I don't want to know what kind of bacteria will be in your mouth."

[Kotorichan]

Felix stared at the human's hands as they started to wash his arms. "I thought you didn't want to be all touchy with me cause I'm dirty..." he muttered. The wolf didn't try to pull away, he wasn't bothered by being touched by Takashi. "What does it mean to 'brush teeth'? And what's 'bac-tara'?" He frowned and squirmed impatiently. "You use weird human words... I don't understand it..."

[KuroBear]

"Sorry, but I'm sort of a human, so I always accidentally use human words..." he mumbles with thick sarcasm, "We'll worry about those things once you're clean. I'm fine with touching you and your dirt only because I'm technically not. With gloves on, these things," he pulls at the rubber gloves, the elastic snapping it back against his wrist, "It's protecting my hands from your dirt. When we're done here, I won't have a problem touching you with my actual hands. I do a thorough job so I will have no fears!" Except if his parents magically decided to come home two hours early. That would be terrifyingly scary... "But never mind that. Continue to sit still and this will go fast!"

[Kotorichan]

Felix let out a frustrated growl at the idea of staying still, but obeyed anyway. After a couple minutes he began to wag his tail happily, enjoying the feeling of the human's hands. He slowly closed his eyes and let his tongue lull out in complete relaxation. He really was like a dog when he was happy like this. The wolf's tail kept thumping away against the bottom of the tub as he waited for Takashi to finish.

Takashi kept this task fast, yet through, even being lucky enough to find a diamond underneath the sink. And that diamond was flea shampoo. Taking it and using it on Felix, he could clearly remember how a year ago, his aunt brought her annoying Chihuahua with her here for the Christmas party get-together. Takashi was so convinced the mutt had fleas, and other diseases, that he decided to use his own money to buy the shampoo, and then while the adults were talking, he kidnapped the small dog and washed it upstairs, the music being so loud that its whines were mute to everyone. Satisfied with the cleaning and rinsing, the water stopped and Takashi put the shower head back up where it belongs, sighing in relief, "There... How you you feel?"
