Daniel hissed softly in pain as they took off, trying to relax himself as much as possible to make his muscles less sore. He breathed a bit shakily, keeping his eyes closed as he still felt like he could throw up any moment. The man held onto one of the spikes tightly, just letting out a quiet grunt when he was told they were going to land.

[Kotorichan]

Arumi slowly made his landing, trying not to let it bump Damian around too much. He lowered his body to the ground . "Here, you can climb down now... Just tell me if you need any help getting down..." He glanced around the clearing as he spoke, hoping to spot some of the plants.

Damian still gasped softly in pain as they landed, the rough skin of Arumi's back pushing up against his ass. "Just take me off, I won't manage myself." He admitted, just untying himself slowly. It was embarrassing, at least, to ask for help like this, but he really wouldn't have made it down himself.

Arumi nodded and turned his head back to look at the human. "I'm going to have to pick you up in my mouth... Please don't worry, it won't hurt" He leaned in and picked Damian up in his jaws. His grip was loose and he used his tongue to keep the man off his teeth. Arumi carefully set him down on the grass before turning into his human form. "I'm really sorry about that..."

Damian attempted to ignore the fact that the jaws of a creature at least twenty times bigger than him were closing in. He wouldn't be hurt, he repeated to himself over and over in his head as he was picked up and set to the ground. The man shivered slightly as his feet touched the ground, eyes still squeezed shut. "Just... The herb." He muttered, pushing his hair out of his face, opening his eyes at last.

Arumi changed back into his human form and began to look around for the herb. "You can just sit down and relax... I can look for the herb" He managed to give Damian a nervous smile. He wasn't sure if the man would be upset by being treated so carefully.

Sit down and relax? Like he could relax in these circumstances. "I'll check near here, you go further away." He said, ignoring the suggestion. Although it was unpleasant to walk at the very least, he absolutely refused to be treated like someone who couldn't take care of himself.

"Alright... Just call for me if you need anything or if you find some" Arumi sighed and walked away, trying not to think about the situation too much. He really wished that he could do something to make the human smile... But there really wasn't anything... He was completely useless in this situation.

Damian found it hard to take the first steps, but after a short while he figured out a way to walk so it hurt less. The man looked around for the herbs, finding none in the area around the clearing. He just hoped Arumi would find some, soon. He knew well enough he wouldn't manage to apply it himself, so in a way he was glad the other was here with him, also searching for a way to help. As he began thinking like this, the situation didn't seem as horrible as it could've been.

Arumi focused on the task at hand, trying not to think of how badly Damian seemed to be doing. After about half an hour he found some of the plant and cried out in joy. He picked it until both his hands were full and ran back to the clearing where they had landed. "Damian! I found it!"

Damian wandered through the field aimlessly, finding no trace of the herbs anywhere near. He was beginning to fear that Arumi hadn't found any either, but his fears were soon gone as the dragon ran back into the clearing with a pile of the herbs in his arms. The man felt so relieved... He walked towards the other, a smile playing on his face. He seemed to have relaxed after being in the forest, even for just a short time. "Thank you." He said, slowly removing his shirt and bandages from his arm to let the dragon get to his wound.

"How is it best it prepare this?" Arumi set the leaves down and pulled out a bottle of water. "I've always just crushed it to make a paste but you probably know the best way. I'm going to pour this on the wound to clean it off, it might sting a bit" He opened the bottle and carefully poured some of the water over the wound.

Damian groaned in pain as the dragon began cleaning his wound. "There's no good way that I can do out here. I'd ask you to chew them, but I don't know if your saliva does anything to me... And I don't want to risk." As he finished speaking, the man took some of the herbs, nose scrunching at the smell as he put it in his mouth, chewing it as much as he could before taking it out and carefully pressing it against the wound, hissing in discomfort.

Arumi watched him carefully, ready to rush to his support if he was needed. He held out the water so that Damian could take a drink to get the taste out of his mouth. "I have some fresh bandages in my bag, I'll get those for you" He waited until the man took the bottle before going to his bag and finding the bandages.

Damian grunted softly, taking the bottle to take a big gulp and flush it around his mouth before spitting it out. This amount would do until they got back, then he could make a decent amount of paste and keep it somewhere for when he needed to change his bandages. The human sighed softly, closing his eyes. Positive thoughts, he had to think positive thoughts. He couldn't sulk forever, he had to take things into his own hands and make them better.

"Do you want to head back now or would you like to stay here and rest for awhile?" Arumi asked. He put the bottle and remaining bandages back into his bag. "This is the only place I can really protect you I guess..." He sighed and stared down at his hands.

"I want to stay." Damian replied after his arm was taken care of. He sat on the ground, gazing longingly at the forest. "Bring me out here more often." He requested, finally feeling at peace. Nature had that effect on him, and it was obvious from the way he looked and acted. He seemed to finally be calm.

Arumi sat down next to him, keeping his gaze on the ground. "I will, I promise I'll bring you out here as much as possible" He finally looked at the man, his expression sad. "I... I really am sorry for not being able to do more for you"

Damian hesitated a bit before leaning against the dragon, relaxing against his shoulder. "This is enough. I don't need a lot more to be happy." He smiled, turning to Arumi. Finally taking his features in, the man found himself a bit spellbound. He really was gorgeous... Slowly moving closer, the man gently pressed their lips together, completing the perfection. It was like all he ever wanted.

Arumi froze for a moment at the feeling of the kiss. He slowly leaned into the kiss, his hand moving to stroke Damian's waist. He hated to admit it to himself, but he felt somewhat jealous of his brother for getting to touch the human.

Damian slowly wrapped an arm around the other's neck, gently pulling him down along with himself. Pulling away from the kiss, the man looked up into Arumi's eyes, gently cupping his cheek. "I don't mind whatever you want to do with me... I trust you." He murmured softly to a question he was sure would surface at some point. Gently tugging Arumi's head to himself again, he pressed their lips back together, gently massaging his lower lip.

Arumi briefly wondered if Damian had much experience in this, or if Damian thought he had much experience. The thoughts quickly left his mind as he felt the human's lips again. He slowly pulled the man onto his lap, wanting to keep their bodies as close as possible. The closest he had been to actual sex was accidentally seeing his brother in the act, and he didn't think Damian would enjoy something so violent.

Damian let out a soft grunt of discomfort when he was pulled on the dragon's lap, the pain coursing through his body reminding of the horrid experience he had just hours ago. Pulling away, the man breathed out shakily, his eyes closed. "Just... Please, be gentle." He asked quietly, a tad uncertainly. He didn't want to experience that ever again. Kio was horrible. Frankly, he still felt dirty from him. He couldn't shake that disgusting feeling off.

Arumi froze when the man pulled away, instant regret welling up in his chest. "I'm sorry... I wasn't thinking... " he gently touched Damian's cheek, trying to hide his sadness. "Damian... I'm not my brother..." He leaned in and lightly rested his head on the other's shoulder. "I would never want to be rough with you... Although..." His cheeks flushed red and his voice lowered in embarrassment. "I have no experience in these things... That was my f-first time even kissing someone... So I may not know how to do things properly"

Damian brought his arms around the dragon's shoulders, holding him closer to himself. "I know you're not him. I do." He muttered softly, gently sliding his hand up to comb through Arumi's hair. At the other's confession, the man felt a smile tugging at his lips, leaning down to lightly press his lips against his forehead. "Then maybe another time." Damian murmured, actually kind of relieved. Yes, he felt horrible, but he was also still in pain. Even the most gentle sex would make him feel in pain. He didn't quite appreciate that.
