"Okay, I promise." Damian smiled and gently ruffled up the dragon's hair. The brunet turned to walk to search for the herbs, but was soon stopped by a warm hand lightly patting his cheek. The man sighed, shaking his head before beginning to walk. "We won't take long." He muttered out, his skin feeling as if it was burning where Arumi had touched.

 

In a few minutes, Damian found a whole bunch of the herbs growing in one place. Surely, he began collecting them, holding the bag with his right hand to not put too much strain on it.

Arumi tried to help pick the herbs, but it was hard for him to do it without getting distracted by the texture of the leafs. The dragon whined and bumped his forehead against Damian's shoulder. "I don't like this..." He growled in frustration. After a moment of thought he took the bag and held it open for the human to put the herbs in. "I'll do this..." He managed a toothy smile. "you can pick and I'll hold all of them" he lightly nuzzled his nose into Damian's shoulder and made a slight purring, growling sound at the back of his throat.

Damian sighed softly as the dragon failed to help him, but found himself a bit confused as the bag was taken. He thought Arumi would make him play with him without having collected the herbs, but he appeared to have been wrong. "Oh, thanks." He smiled slightly, goosebumps appearing on his back from the noise that came from his, erh, friend? Damian shook the feeling off and just focused on collecting the herbs, soon having collected all the bag. "Okay, I'm all done." He muttered and took the bag to tie it to his belt again.

"All done?" Arumi leaned in and hugged the man tightly, giggling softly. "Now it's time to play~" He nuzzled his face into the human's chest. "We can play a game where I pick you up, and fly up high, and then drop you, and I have to catch you before you hit the ground. And then you can pick me up and drop me- oh wait..." The dragon frowned and pulled away. "That's not gonna work is it?" He tilted his head to the side in thought. "We'll have to think of a better game..." He snuggled up to the man again, growling playfully. "We can think of something else to play..."

Damian's body tensed up the slightest bit as he was hugged so tightly, feeling as if his bones would be crushed. A dragon's hug... As he listened to the first idea of a game, the brunet was sure his hair stood up straight. "Erh, maybe something less... Life-threatening?" He smiled somewhat sheepishly, hesitantly moving one hand to stroke Arumi's hair. Honestly, this guy acted like a cat sometimes... That was weird. A dragon acting like a cat. "I'm sorry if I'm not too much help with thinking of games. I don't play that often." He sighed out as he smiled and pulled his hand off the other's hair.

Arumi closed his eyes and pressed his nose into the human's neck, letting out a soft sigh of relaxation. "Maybe we can just snuggle together... I'm getting sleepy..." The drug Damian had fed him was starting to wear off, leaving the dragon worn out. "We can take a little nap together but maybe that's not a good idea... I change into my big form when I sleep, and I don't wanna roll over and squish you" he frowned slightly at the thought.

Damian smiled lightly, gently patting the dragon's hair. "I'm sure you won't." He muttered softly, getting just a little bit uncomfortable with the extreme closeness. Arumi appeared to be weirdly clingy when he was high... Cute, even. Not that he'd ever admit it out loud - or to himself. The brunet took the other's hands gently, his right one with a weaker grip. "Come on, let's find ourselves some quiet place where no one will find us." He offered with a small smile playing on his face.

"I know a nice little cave..." Arumi said, suppressing a yawn. "I'll take you there..." The dragon pulled away and slipped his clothes off. He changed into his dragon form and rested his head on the ground so that the human could climb up. "I'm a little dizzy but I think I can still fly..." he let out a little giggling growl. "Just maybe not in a straight line..."

Damian couldn't deny the fact that whenever Arumi took his clothes off without any shame, he got just a little bit embarrassed. After all, his body was quite the view... Drowned in his thoughts, the brunet barely realized that the dragon in front of him was holding his head down so he could climb on. With a rosy hue now covering his cheeks, Damian got on, lightly sliding a hand over one scale. "As long as you don't toss me off."

"I won't, you wouldn't be able to fly so that'd be bad" Arumi laughed, spreading his wings. "Hold on~" He flapped his wings and took off, swooping up into the sky. The dragon flew in a slow circle, looking around for the cave. When he saw it he dove straight down towards the ground, not thinking about how it might scare the human. He pulled up just before hitting the ground and flew towards the cave. The dragon landed right in front of the cave, digging his claws into the ground to stop himself.

Damian shifted uncomfortably, not really finding it that amusing. The brunet gripped onto the scales with his hands, his legs wrapped around the creature's neck. As Arumi suddenly plunged down, a loud curse left his mouth from the adrenaline pounding into his head. He didn't even move for a few seconds when they got down, his whole body tense. "You're an idiot..." He muttered under his breath, shakily getting off. His eyes wide, the man stared at the dragon, still a bit shaken. He would never get used to being in the air...

Arumi changed back to his human form, he had forgotten to pick up his clothes but was beyond caring. "I'm not an idiot..." The dragon pouted, hugging Damian's arm. "I know how to fly, you weren't in any danger~" He nuzzled up against the man. "I'd never let my cute little human friend get smushed on the ground" he growled playfully.

Damian tried not to look, he did, but when a gorgeous naked guy was clinging to your arm, it was hard not to notice him. So, he stood there awkwardly, trying not to appear too obviously flustered by their current position. "Just shut up and sleep." The man mumbled as he began walking towards the cave, pulling Arumi along. He had to remind himself that any relationship between a human and a dragon was basically forbidden...

[Kotorichan]

Arumi let out a soft laugh and nuzzled the man's neck. "Okay~ sleepy time~" He followed Damian into the cave and almost immediately turned into his dragon form. He lightly wrapped his tail around the human's body and curled around him, completely trapping Damian in his coils. Arumi closed his eyes and let a puff of smoke out of his nose, letting himself completely relax.

Damian walked into the cave, getting a little bit hesitant about sleeping next to such a beast. Still, the man waited until the dragon was in place before attempting to get comfortable. It wasn't so easy to do with all these hard scales... The brunet finally got under the other's wing, sighing in relaxation as he closed his eyes, all warm and relaxed. Alright, maybe this wasn't so bad... Now all he had to hope for was that he wouldn't be killed in his sleep, by accident or not. The human's tiredness slowly took over him and he fell asleep, the faint beats of Arumi's heart soothing him into slumber.

Arumi fell asleep almost immediately. The dragon let out soft snores as he slept, holding the human close. He woke up after just a few hours and sat up. He slowly sat up and looked around, blinking in confusion. He felt slightly dizzy and his memories were a little hazy. The dragon looked down at Damian and lightly bumped him with his nose, hoping to wake the human up.

Damian was unable to fall asleep deeply at all. It wasn't too comfortable, and he felt a little bit threatened even now. Especially when the dragon woke up, it would bring everyone problems. So, when he felt a huge nose bumping up against him, the brunet's eyes opened instantly and he glanced around into one of the big eyes. "Morning." He muttered, sounding tired. The man attempted to get out, but flinched as he tried to use his right hand. God, it hurt...

Arumi quickly changed back to his human form and carefully helped Damian to his feet. "Are you alright?" he glanced around for his clothes and bag. "Um... I'm sorry but what happened? I can't remember what we did after you gave me those leaves..." He could remember a bit of it, but it all seemed so strange that it must have been a dream.

Damian closed his eyes, taking a deep breath as he was helped to his feet. The man glanced at his arm, a curse slipping past his lips from seeing a bloodstain on the bandages. He had to get back as soon as possible... The brunet looked at Arumi, a faint smile forming on his face. "You helped me collect some herbs and then we slept." He said softly, trying not to move his arm entirely. "You were incredibly clingy..." Damian chuckled softly, smiling at the dragon.

Arumi barely listened to the man's words, he was more concerned about the human's wound. "Your arm is bleeding... I need to take you back to your home..." He changed into his dragon form and lowered his head to the floor. "Climb on, I'll just walk so you don't get bumped around too much..." He growled softly. He was very worried about Damian, but he knew that if he showed it too much it might make the other angry.

Damian sighed, not even having enough strength to argue. The brunet just got on, holding on with only one hand. "I'm sorry." He mutered, not even sure if the dragon heard him. He hoped not, honestly. The human just sighed tiredly, nearly laying down on the huge head. Damian closed his eyes, checking if he still had the herbs. Feeling the bag still against his hip was definitely satisfying, calming in a way.

Arumi started to walk back towards the spot that he had left Damian last time. "You don't think you people have gone out to search for you, do you?" He asked softly. He didn't want to bump into any of the other humans and cause problems for Damian. He kept moving slowly, hoping that the movement wouldn't bother the other's injury.

Damian shook his head before realizing that Arumi couldn't see that. He muttered out a 'no' after a few moments of silence, holding on tightly to the scales. "You're way too nice to me... I'm the perfect prey, I can't do shit on my own right now... Why are you helping me? I don't think I understand." He mumbled tiredly, closing his eyes. Honestly, the slight swaying from the dragon's steps was lulling him to sleep. He tried not to fall asleep though... He had to get back to his people.

"Why?" Arumi frowned slightly at the human's question. "Well... At first I just had no interest in dealing with killing you... Then I found out you could help me learn more about the plants in this area so it was more beneficial to let you live... And now I suppose that I think of you as something of a friend... Strange as that may be..."

A faint laugh slipped past Damian's lips, making him flinch in pain. "Me? Your friend? That's insane..." The man mumbled softly, closing his eyes just for a moment, just to let them rest. He ended up falling asleep, of course. He was tired as hell, and this was more comfortable than in the cave, for some reason. The brunet didn't look like he would be woken up anytime soon, too.
