After realizing what he'd done, he quickly pulls hand from the water, the ice disappearing the moment his fingers left the clear liquid, a dust of sparkling substance floating in the air above where the 'mirror' had been. He stares at the water for a moment, taking a deep breath, letting it out slowly as he stood up from where he'd been kneeling. Byakko shakes his head, not believing he'd done something so foolish, something he always avoided doing.

He walks away from the well, and paces the path that led up to the Haiden, or the Hall of Worship, the path itself called the Sandō. Byakko hoped the other hadn't paid attention to what he'd said, finally relaxing when he falls on the thought that Ryo would most likely ignore his words, maybe thinking it had been a figment of his imagination. He sighs softly, and walks over to the Torii, or the Gate to the shrine.

Byakko jumps up to the arch on top of the Torii, sitting upon it for a moment, before flipping upside down, hanging from the arch by his knees. He always found doing this quite amusing. While he was hanging there, he stares down the stone steps that led up to the shrine, spotting a figure moving up the steps. He figured it was just an animal, since it was so late in the evening, and continues to hang upside down, swinging his body slightly, his eyes closed.

Ryo walked towards the shrine. He glanced across the street and what he had figured to be Byakko's house. He didn't really want to knock on his door so it was up the stairs for him. As he walked he wonders about the voice he heard. As he wasn't one to actually believe in spirits or such he thinks his mind made it up. Glancing up the stairs he sighs. "Byakko!! If your up there come on out. I really don't have the energy to go all the way up there." he calls out hoping the other would respond. The running he did to get here tired him out.

Deciding to stop half way up, Ryo sits on one of the steps. He wasn't sure if the other would be out this late at night. Especially since they made plans to meet again Wednesday. He just sat there thinking to himself. Today just wasn't his day at all. If it wasn't one thing it was another and none of it good.

As he was swinging upside down on the Torii, his eyes closed, with his arms crossed over his chest, just enjoying the cool night air, when he hears a voice calling up the stairs towards him. Byakko's eyes open quickly, adjusting to the darkness, and flips down from where he'd been hanging. He was confused, that voice sounded like Ryo's. But why would he be here of all places? Didn't he have somewhere else he needed to be?

Byakko walks down the stone steps, towards the voice, his steps silent, moving quietly as a cat, as stealthily as a ninja. And sure enough, there was Ryo, sitting on a step about halfway up the stone staircase. Byakko's eyes shine a bit, as he moved closer, until he was standing over the other male. Byakko, earlier when he'd returned to the shrine, had changed clothing, so he was wearing the plain black kimono from the other day, and sandals on his feet.

He reaches down, and places a hand on Ryo's shoulder." Yo. What's up?" Pulling his hand back, he moves so he was next to Ryo on the same step, and sits next to him. As a car drove by, it illuminated them, making Byakko's eyes glow momentarily, just like that of a cat. He smiles, looking at the other male. "It's late. Why are you here? Not that I mind or anything, I'm just a little surprised that you came here so late. Was the event that bad?" He pauses, letting the other male speak, before offering him something. "If you don't want to go back tonight, you're more than welcome to stay at my place. I have a spare bedroom you can use."

Flinching suddenly as he felt someone touch his shoulder; Ryo glanced back to see Byakko. "Oh its just you. It took you long enough. Don't tell me you fell asleep up there." he said poking fun at the other. He glanced down at the street as a car drove by. "Yeah I know its late. Its not like I planned to come back a pester you or anything. Its just I really couldn't stay there anymore. I guess you don't know what its like to feel like an outcast in your own home." he mutters as he gaze drops. He wonders why he didn't just go to one of his friend's houses. He was sure they would have took him in for the night. What confused him was why he came to seek out Byakko.

Staying silent for a little while he sighs. "You sure about that? I wouldn't want to impose on you or anything. Besides, something like this isn't easily fixed overnight. Its been thirteen years and it still haunts me even now." he said glancing over at Byakko. Ryo smiled a little as he tilts his head. "You know what I find super funny? It was your voice that suddenly pops into my hed giving me the push I was looking for to run out of there."

Byakko simply smiles at the fun poked at him by Ryo, shaking his head a little. "No, I wasn't asleep. In fact, I was wide awake. I don't usually go to bed until two or three in the morning. I can't sleep during the night for some reason..." Smiling again, he looks over at Ryo, before staring down the steps, listening to what Ryo said. "Don't worry about it, you're not pestering me. And you're right, I don't know that feeling...it must be tough." He frowns a bit, glancing at Ryo from the corner of his eye.

When the other asked if he was sure about letting him stay, Byakko smiles. "It's no problem. Don't think too much of it. I offered cause I wanted to." He stands up, and faces Ryo, his eye twitching slightly at Ryo's next comment. "Oh really, hehe, that must have been weird. Well then, I'm to uh...help?" He reaches up to rub the back of his neck, laughing nervously, a drop of sweat sliding down the side of his neck. He turns to face the stairs heading down, and takes a step down.

"Well then, shall we?" He says, before heading down the steps, and crossing the street towards his house. He unlocks the door, stepping inside, and closes the door when both were inside, locking it again. Byakko takes his shoes off, and steps forward, motioning for Ryo to follow. The inside of his house was very oriental, with tatami mats, bamboo and thin wood walls, low tables, potted Japanese plants, scrolls with curled lettering on the wall, you name it, you'd find it somewhere in Byakko's house.

Byakko leads Ryo up a set of stairs, and opens a door in the second floor, leading to a bedroom. It was slightly plain, but it was nice. Plain floors, no carpeting, a wall with a sliding closet, a desk against another wall with a chair, in one corner was a potted bamboo plant, a small shelf holding books and scrolls, and a window that faced the street, with a tiny potted bonsai tree sitting on the window sill. There were two paintings in the room, one was a picture of the shrine, when it was brand new. The other was that of a white tiger, it's body coming from a cherry blossom tree..

Facing Ryo, he smiles. "This is the room you can use." He walks over to the closet, and slides it open, revealing a pile of bedding, with a cushioned futon, and some pillows. "Futon and pillows, plus extra blankets if you need them. Oh, and the bathroom is downstairs, across from the kitchen. It shouldn't be too hard to find. Can I get you anything? A pair of pajamas, something to eat? Just ask, and I'll see what I can do." He meant what he said.

Ryo honestly didn't know why the other was being so kind right now. They still knew so little about each other. However he took the helping hand before him and followed Byakko to his house. Upon entering he was surprised how it looked. It was like walking into an almost decked out traditional japanese home. He remembers his house had once looked like that until a few years back. Taking off his shoes he slowly continued to follow the male before him.

His eyes couldn't help but scan the area as it was all new to him. He glanced up and into the room he'd be occuping for the night. "I've imposed enough. This will be just fine for me. Thank you for this Byakko. Most people wouldn't be this kind to a semi-stranger but then again it could be your holy morals that cased this." he said entering the room. Ryo looked around before his eyes instantly focused on the picture of the tiger. It was almost as captivating as the one from the book. "Did you paint that?" he asked

Bowing slightly, then standing up straight, Byakko smiles. "Alright then. Well, if you do need anything, or change your mind, my room is just down the hall, three doors to the left of this one." He doesn't say anything to the comment that Ryo had made, about him doing this because of his 'holy morals'. Byakko was in/fact doing it because of that, but also because of his own desires, doing it because he wanted to. He goes to stand by the door, and looks over at Ryo when asked if he painted the tiger on the wall.

A sad expression forms in his eyes, just for a moment, before his smile returned, as if that sadness had just been a trick of the light. "No, I didn't paint that. Someone very dear to me did. They aren't...here anymore." He opens the door, and then looks back to Ryo one last time. "Well, I'll leave you be. Also, if you are free to come to my room to talk if you wish. Anyways...Have a nice night, rest easy. Good night." He goes out the room, closing the door quietly behind him, before going towards his own room, sighing softly once inside. He'd totally forgotten that painting was in there.

His room was similar to the one Ryo was staying in, but had a lot more stuff inside. Potted plants were everywhere, books and scrolls stacked in piles, as the shelves on the bookcase were packed. A corner had what appeared like some sort of nest, a pile of blankets and pillows, set directly under the window, where sunlight could reach it easily. A large ornate mirror was hanging on one wall. Shelves held many different objects, shards of jewels, strange looking rocks, and other artifacts. His room had a desk too, which was covered with piles of papers, and scrolls half filled with kanji, his brush strokes artistic and flowing. And on the walls, were several paintings. However, the one that dominated the wall was one of the four celestial spirits. There were four paintings, but formed into one large painting.

Byakko goes over to the desk, and sits down in the chair, and pulls a scroll towards him, picks up a brush and opens a pot of ink, dipping the brush inside, before beginning to write. He paused to think every now and then before continuing, and at one point he glances over in the direction of the room Ryo was staying in, hoping to himself he'd done the right thing. He sighs, and then continues writing.

Ryo faced Byakko as he noticed the other bowing. It made him feel very weird but he didn't question it. Watching the other go from a sad expression to an almost false smile made him worried. He walked over patting his shoulder lightly. "Then in that aspect we have in common." he said before moving back a bit. He all too knew the feeling of losing someone important. His scarf that constant reminder. He remains silent as Byakko left the room.

Ryo fixed the futon to his liking and then laid down. He closed his eyes trying to ignore today to a point. He couldn't ignore to completely. Slowly opening his eyes he looked up at the ceiling that wasn't one he was use to. The silence that overtook the room soon felt very odd. He sat up before going to the door and peeking out. He slowly walked to Byakko's room and lightly taps the door. "Uh, are you awake in there?"

After writing a bit more, Byakko sets the scroll to the side, to let the glistening black ink dry before he continued any more of his writing. Getting up from his chair, he walks over to the book shelf, and pulls one off, a very old looking book, with a worn cover, and yellowing pages. The cover had a picture of the four seasons on front, of a mountain in the four stages of season. Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. He then moves to a low couch, that could seat two people, and sits down, opening the book and begins to read.

He didn't get very far when he heard footsteps, and then a light tapping on his door. Then, Ryo's voice calls to him, asking if he was awake. "Yes, I am. Wait a moment, I'll let you in..." Byakko smiles softly, and marks his spot in the book, then closes it, setting it on a small table, before standing up and walking over to the door. He opens it, and allows Ryo to come into the room, and then closes the door behind him, facing Ryo.

Motioning for Ryo to sit down on the couch, Byakko goes to sit on his desk chair, facing Ryo. He had a soft smile on his face as he looked at Ryo. "Couldn't fall asleep?" He asks, chuckling softly. Byakko knew how that felt, being in a place he didn't know, not being able to feel comfortable or secure enough to fall asleep. So he really didn't mind that Ryo had come to talk to him, in fact, he quite enjiyed the company from the other male. "The offer still stand for me making you something to eat...or, if you'd like, a cup of tea?"

Ryo waited outside the door as he heard Byakko moving about. He really hopes he didn't interrupt anything important. As the door opened he slowly walked inside and took a seat. "Uh, I guess you could say that. My house is far from quiet even on a normal day. So this silence around here is a bit new to me." he said softly. His gaze moving around the room a little. The many scrolls and paintings that were around made him feel like he was in a monks room or something. "You sure like scrolls huh." he asked curiously.

Ryo wonders if the other had just wanted to cook in general. He wasn't too hungry but it couldn't hurt to say yes. "If you insist then I suppose something to eat wouldn't be out of the question. It would give me the chance to talk to you about something interesting. Also help distract me from my own thoughts for a while." he said lightly gripping his scarf. Ryo often did this when he thought about a certain event. More so today than on other days

Byakko smiles a bit more when Ryo agreed to him making food, saying it would give him the chance to talk about something interesting, and to district himself from other thoughts. Nodding, Byakko stands up, and motions for Ryo to follow, leading him out the room, down the hall, descending the set of stairs, and turning right, towards a small hallway, where there was a slightly wide doorway, that led into the kitchen. "Oh, and what you said earlier, I do indeed love scrolls. I'm more used to them than books..."

Inside was very clean, with the usual kitchen neccesities. Pushed against one wall was a small wooden table, with two wooden chairs. He motions for the other to sit if he wanted to, before putting a pot of water on the stove to boil. Getting a few utensils, he looks over at Ryo. "I hope you don't mind fish for a midnight snack." He chuckles softly, then begins to cook, the scent of fried fish soon filling the room. "So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Byakko asks, pouring a cup of green tea and handing it to Ryo.

He returns to the stove, and turns the pieces of fish. There was salmon, tilapia, tuna, herring, and mackerel. The pieces were just tiny strips of fish, so it wouldn't be that filling. While he waited for the fish to finish cooking, he leans against the counter to look at Ryo, reaching his hand into a jar and pulls out a couple of rice crackers, seating them, then takes a drink of his own tea. His glass and Ryo's were both old fashioned clay cups, looking as if they were quite ancient. Byakko wondered what Ryo was going to tell him.

Ryo smiled a little as he followed the other to the kitchen. He was still finding Byakko's house to be rather interesting. Once in the kitchen, he took a seat and watched him. "I am not picky when it comes to food. So whatever you make is fine with me." he said kind of interested in what his cooking would taste liked. He wasn't sure what to talk about now that he was in the same space as the other. "Uh, well why don't you tell me your favorite season." he blurted out as he felt nervous. This was completely out of character for him.

His gaze upon the cup of tea before him. He couldn't look Byakko directly in the eyes at the moment. He honestly didn't know why either. He was just spending the night and yet this short amount of alone time with the male made him feel on edge. Ryo takes a deep breath before sipping the tea. What he had really wanted to get off his chest at the moment he didn't know how to bring it up. After all it wasn't a conversation one would naturally bring to a dining table.

"My...favorite season?" Byakko repeats, raising an eyebrow, slightly confused at the randomness of the question. However, despite his obvious confusion, he answers the question anyways. "My favorite season is autumn. And what about you? What's your favorite season?" As he asks this, he turns the flame off on the stove, moving the fish from the pan to a plate. He also gets two small plates, one for himself and one for Ryo, setting the plate with fish down on the table, along with the smaller plates.

Byakko allows Ryo to pick out his first, and once they were cooled down a bit, Byakko bites into a piece of salmon. Each of the pieces of fish were cooked to perfection, the flavor of the fish amazing, as well as the small amount of spice used. It was apparent by how perfect Byakko cooked the fish, that he loved it. Any kind really, it was his favorite food. "So...what do you think?" Byakko questions, biting into another piece.

"I don't have a favorite season anymore. I use to love winter and how everything would sparkle when then sun hits it. However I no longer like such things. Its a very odd way of thinking but I have my reasons. After all I honestly might not be here right now if things were different." he mumbled the last part more to himself than to Byakko. He wasn't sure how to keep the conversation going. At the moment he was feeling highly conflicted.

Ryo's gaze moved towards the food now upon the table. "Oh its looks very good. Who taught you how to cook?" he asked as he took a small piece and placed it before himself. He was feeling much more relaxed here than he probably would anywhere else. This was the one place he could be that his family didn't know about. Slowly taking a bite out of the cooked fish he smiled. "Oh my Byakko, your an amazing cook."

Listening to Ryo's response, Byakko began to wonder even more about what exactly happened to the guy to make him like he was. But he doesn't ask, he knew that when Ryo was comfortable with it, he'd tell on his own terms. Instead, he answers the question asked of him about who taught him to cook. "I thought myself. Through trial and error, until I cook make fish perfectly. However, I did have someone who gave me advice. I haven't seem them in quite a while..." Byakko smiles when the other tried the fish, and hears the compliment. "Thank you..."

He sits down on the other chair across from Ryo, and picking another piece, eating it as he contemplated what to say next. After a moment, he speaks up. "I know this is a rather odd question, but...do you have a favorite direction? North, south, east or west?" He looks at Ryo, finishing the fish piece he was eating, then takes a drink of his tea. Byakko hoped that Ryo wouldn't think his question too weird. It was just something he was really curious about.

Ryo was surprised the other learned how to cook simply by trial and error. It sounded so easy and yet so difficult. He glanced to the side a little. "Maybe one day if we are still hanging out like this I'll ask you to teach me how to cook. It would be a nice skill to learn for when I start living on my own." he said with a smile. His focus on enjoying the fish cooked by Byakko. His mind was finally letting him have some sort of peace.

"My favorite direction...?" he asked trying to make sure he heard right. Ryo couldn't help but laugh. "That really is an odd question to ask someone. I don't know what you are trying to ask with such a thing but not really. I suppose when I was younger I would always gaze out towards the west but not anymore. There's just something you grow out of doing and other things you stop doing because you have no choice." he said frowning a little. Ryo glanced up at Byakko. "Want to hear an interesting story? Its a little sad but you look like the kind of person who would enjoy a story."

"Heh...yeah, I had a feeling you'd think my question was weird... my favorite is west." He pauses and takes a bite of fish. "Oh, and I can definitely teach you some cooking techniques if you're still interested later on." He finishes off his tea, and stands up, going over to the sink to place the empty cup in it, and then sits back down at the table, resting his elbow on top, and placing his chin on the back of his hand.

Ryo suddenly asks him something quite interesting, and he looks at the other male, a bit curious as to what exactly this 'story' was about. "Sure, I'd like to hear it." Who knew, maybe it was something about Ryo himself, and Byakko could finally learn more about him. He could go about getting information on the guy other ways, but doing it that way was just not Byakko's type of thing to do. He'd rather do it the normal way.

He smiled a little glad to hear he would teach him how to cook one day. It made him get the feeling he could still hang out with Byakko. As the other seemed interested in the story he grins. "Now no questions until the end alright." he said before starting. "This is the tale of a happy family gone broken. Once upon a time a young girl lived with her mother, father and little sister. They family were part time shrine keepers. So on off days they would go and tidy up forgotten shrines and make them wonderful. One da the father and the young girl planned a trip to visit the dragon deity shrine. However it was located high upon a mountain side. This would be a weekend event. The young girl was over joyed. Upon the day of the trip they stopped at a lodge before heading up to the mountain shrine. The first day went off without a hitch. Though day two didn't go over so well." he stopped to take a sip of tea. Ryo wonders what Byakko thought of his story so far. He didn't plan to ask just yet.

He takes a deep breath before continuing. "Upon arriving slightly later than planned on the second day, the father and young girl goin all their hard work from day one was ruined. There were punks destroying everything. At first they kindly asked the punks to leave. However they retaliated and chased them away. The father decided they would return on the third day to avoid danger. Driving back down the mountain the punks chased after them. Sad to say mountain weather wasn't too kind and off the road they went. It was a terrible crash and it took three and a half days before they were found. Upon being found the father had passed due to frostbite and internal wounds. The young girl survived due to being bundled up in just about everything the father had been wearing. In the end the young girl was picked on by others who she had once considered close and became to dislike anything religious." he said ending his story. "So what do you think of my story? After I heard it myself I gave up believing in things myself. It's too dangerous." he sid

As he listened to the story, Byakko remained silent. For some reason, this story sounded familiar. And when the story was ended, he was still quiet. Dragon deity. A father and his daughter. The father dies. She lives. Not only that, but...it sounded way too familiar, as if..."Seiryuu..." He mutters. That was the dragon deity. He knew Seiryuu. And Seiryuu had told him that story.

"It's a sad story... " He pauses, and looks at Ryo. "By any chance...could this be a story about...your mother?" He asks, his voice somber and serious. "And the shrine was for the Azure Dragon of the East, Seiryuu?" He was pretty sure this was the same story he'd been told so many years ago. About that poor little girl whom Seiryuu managed to save, though unfortunately, he'd been unable to save the father.

Looking down, he traces his finger on a line in the wooden table. Yes, religion could be dangerous. Belief was a risk. But then again, life was about taking risks, right? Stepping out into the world, to carve your future. Taking chances, making decisions that could either make or break you. It was all up to you to choose what happened. If you give up because of one thing, you've pretty much given up on life.

Ryo looked at the other and he wanted to laugh a little. He didn't think the other would have asked such a thing. "Uh, yeah. Its about my mother no doubt. You sure know how to catch on to a story." he said with a light chuckle. He found this a little bit awkward now as he only twisted the story a little. He was a bit surprised that Byakko knew about the exact shrine though. He decided not to dwell on it too much. "So you knew about that shrine and the story? I guess this was no fun then." he mutters softly.

Ryo yawns softly as he looked over at the other. He could see that Byakko was in deep thought. "Don't over think the story that much. Its just a tale from a long time ago. There's no real meaning behind it. Anyway, I thank you for the food. It was really delicious. I think I'll be able to rest a little better this time." he said slowly standing to place the tea cup and plate within the sink. As he washed the dishes, his gaze drifts back at the other. He finished cleaning them before moving to head back up to the room. "You might find this funny but I had a lot of hair as a child. Good night Byakko." he said before walking off

"Uh...right. You're right, I shouldn't look too deeply. But I did enjoy the story. Thank you." He stands when Ryo does, and bids the other good night. Byakko watched as the other left the room, and begins to put away the rest of the uneaten fish, placing the dishes back into the cupboard. When all this was finished, he too leaves the kitchen, turning off the light and heading upstairs, pausing by the closed door to the room Ryo was in. He rests his hand softly against the door, and after a moment moves on.

Once in his own room, he sits down at the desk again, but doesn't pick up his ink brush. Instead he leans back, and stares up at the ceiling. Sighing gently, he closes his eyes a bit, thoughts rushing through his mind, as he recalled the story from the kitchen that Ryo had told him. So it in fact had been the story he'd heard from Seiryuu. No wonder it had seemed so familiar.

Opening his eyes again, he decides to contact Seiryuu. Closing his eyes, he creates a snowflake in the palm of his hand, tossing it in the air. Midair, it changes into a snow tiger, landing softly on the floor of his room. Byakko kneels down and hugs the tiger, and whispers into it's ear. "Go to Seiryuu, find him. Let him know I wish to speak with him. Tell him I need to talk to him, okay?" He stands up, and opens the window, and the tiger turns back into a snowflake, and drifts quickly out the window, glowing gently before it disappeared from sight.

Closing the window he goes to sit on his nest of blankets, eventually falling asleep, the moon gently glowing on his face. Now he couldn't wait even more for Wednesday to come. Things would be very interesting, that's for sure.

Ryo laid upon the sheets in the room. He knew he wouldn't sleep well tonight. "Damn it... I went a little overboard with tell him such a story. Though I wonder why he thinks it was my mother. She is still seriously religious as so my sister. Oh well, no use in over thinking it now." he says to himself as he closed his eyes. He wasn't too upset that he told Byakko the story. He had gotten the usual outcome that he always gotten. So in a way he wasn't all too down about it. However he wonders why he felt it would have been different telling the other.

Ryo soon drifted off to sleep. He didn't expect to find this place so relaxing despite how quiet it was. He was sure it probably had something to do with the paintings in the room. He really liked how well it represented the white tiger. He might have given up on religion but he still liked a few things related to the topic.

By the next morning Byakko was already awake and in the kitchen, making breakfast. He doubted that Ryo would want fish for breakfast though, even though that's what Byakko always had, so instead he was making something different for the other male. It was a simple thing to make, rolled omelets and sweet sticky rice. When it was done, he puts the food on a plate, and pours some tea in a cup, setting it on a tray, and going upstairs.

Knocking softly on the door with his free hand that wasn't balancing the tray, he calls out to Ryo. "Hey, you awake? I made you breakfast." He reaches down, and places his hand on the door knob, and pauses. "I'm coming in. I'll just set the food down if you want." He opens the door, and walks in, just enough to set the food down on the small table by the doorway. He looks over at Ryo, and smiles, before backing out the door again, and closing it behind him. He sighs softly as the door closed, closing his eyes a bit. He sure wasn't used to having anyone else in his home, even though he acted like it was totally normal.

Ryo continued to slumber as night turned to morning. He didn't have classes so he wasn't planning to be up early. Though that wasn't right since he wasn't in his own home. His mind sure knew that but his body was telling him to rest more. As the conflicting thoughts crossed his mind he suddenly heard a familiar voice. Even asleep Byakko's voice sounded really nice calling his name. He kept his eyes closed until he was sure the other wasn't in the doorway.

Slowly sitting up, Ryo glanced over at the breakfast the other made him. "Crap...!! Now why the hell would this make me blush?" he grumbled as he sat up more. He was sure this was something that happened in manga between couples. Trying to think this was solely out of kindness and general hospitality; Ryo walked over and took a piece of the omelet. "Damn this is bad. He's like the perfect house wife in a male body." he said face palming himself

Returning to the kitchen after putting the food into Ryo's room, he decides to make himself something as well, and of course what he made was some sort of aquatic food, this time, instead of just fish, he makes fried squid as well, to go along with his salmon and mackerel. Pouring himself some tea as he waited, he sips a bit at the drink, and when the food was finished, he puts in on a plate, setting it on the table.

Heading to the front room, he proceeds to step outside for just a moment, picking the newspaper out of his box, and goes back inside, folding it over his arm, then goes back to the kitchen, and sits at the table. Before opening the paper he takes a bite of his food, savoring the flavor of the food. He absolutely loved fish and things like that. But then again, being what he was and all, it was no surprise really. Not that anyone knew about that of course.

His eyes look over in the direction of where the stairs that led to the second floor were, and wondered if Ryo was awake yet. Because when he'd gone in to put the food down, it seemed as if the other male had been asleep still. He sighs softly, and opens the paper, beginning to read, but not really taking in what was written, his eyes more skimming over the words than actually reading. To him, the newspaper was boring, but sometimes he found quite interesting stories inside, that's why he even bothered getting it.

As he ate his fish and drank his tea while reading, he began humming to himself, not really making a tune out of it, just singing random notes. But even so, his voice was nice to listen to, despite the fact his little 'song' made no sense of direction of where it was going, high notes, low notes, in between notes. But he didn't care. No one was listening right? So why should he even bother with making his song understandable. It made absolute sense to himself, and that's all that mattered.
