In response to Ryo stirring, and then speaking, he purrs louder, pulling the other closer to him with his huge paws, acting, at that moment, just like a huge, happy cat. He was indeed awake, but still half asleep. When he was like this, his animal side showed a lot more. He then licks the side of Ryo's face and head, his tongue warm, and slightly rough, leaving only a slight bit of wetness behind. He does this a few more times, still purring loudly, before letting the other go from his grip, opening his eyes and slowly uncurls from the pile of blankets and pillows, stretching like any cat, sharp claws unsheathing for a brief second before disappearing into the soft pads of his paws, his muscles flexing, and as he stretched, he yawned widely, his huge fangs glinting in the morning sunlight.

Then, as he straightens up, his body changes, and he becomes the (rather naked) human form of Byakko, yawning again. "Oh man...I have never slept that long for a while!" He scratches his stomach, yawning once more. His human form also had tiger stripes, but were dispersed a bit wider, some on his upper left arm, on the right side of his chest and waist, down his left hip and thigh, just to continue on his right calf. Also, the reached from his right shoulder down across his back, ending just beneath his shoulder blades.

He looks around, and when he saw Ryo was still there, he blushes deeply, and hurries to cover himself, quickly pulling on his kimono, and wrapping it around himself, tying the tie around his waist. He sighs, embarassed. "I am so sorry about that!" He runs his hand down the side of his face. "I should have warned you earlier..."

Ryo smiled as Byakko was acting so much like a kitten. Despite his size it was very cute. His cheeks all flush as he was being licked. He then slowly rolled aside as he watched him stretch out and such. "You truly are a big kitten." he said with a chuckle. Ryo wasn't sure what to expect but what he wasn't prepared for was a fully naked Byakko. His gaze widen and his face redden as he looked at the other.

All he could do at the moment was stare in awe and embarrassment. He didn't expect this at all but then again it made sense since he wasn't wearing clothes in his animal form. Once Byakko got dressed he looked away. "No need to apologize. We are both guys here. Though now I feel I'm lacking as a male. In both upper a lower body." he said pouting

"L-lacking?" He wasn't quite sure what Ryo meant by this. Yes, he was built well, with a shape, body tone, and muscles that mirrored the strong feline he was, and he was quite well sized down south, but in all honesty, he didn't think too much on it very often. "S-so, um...breakfast?" He smiles a bit, and leads the way from the room, heading downstairs, and begins to cook, making a cup of tea for Ryo while he waited for the food to be finished.

Once it was, he places the food in front of Ryo on the table, before sitting down across from him, and begins to eat his own food. Even though he'd made Ryo something more breakfast worthy, Byakko had fish. And a glass of cold milk along with his own cup of tea. As he finishes a bite of his fish, he looks to the other male, his pink cheeks now normal again. "Besides going to talk with your family...what are your plans for today?" Taking another bite, he waits for an answer.

Ryo was still pouting as he looked at the other. "As a guy you shoul know exactly what I mean wh I say lacking." he huffs softly as he glanced to the side. This was a bit embarrassing for him. He didn't expect Byakko to be so sexy naked. This was causing some odd feelings to stir up inside of him. As he slowly got to his feet he heard the other mention breakfast. "Yeah that sounds good." he said following behind him.

Once in the kitchen he sat down and was silent. He didn't know what to talk about so early in the morning. He stared at the cup of tea until he noticed breakfast beside it. He wasn't much of a morning person. Plus he had rarely ever eaten breakfast. However he slowly began to nibble to food before him. "Uh, I don't have anything planned for today. So after you meet with those people I'm free for the rest of the day."

The silence coming from Ryo was just fine with Byakko, it really didn't bug him. As he got a reply from the other, he smiles. "Okay. Well, if you'd like...I'm not doing anything either. Would you like to...maybe...spend the day with me? It's fine if you don't want to though." Byakko was kind of hoping that Ryo would agree, but he wasn't going to force it if the other didn't want to.

"Hopefully things go well..." He murmurs, finishing his breakfast and getting up, placing his plate in the sink. Byakko didn't doubt himself, but really. Sighing, he waits for Ryo to finish his food, before picking up the plate and putting it with his own in the sink. Glancing at Ryo again, he leans against the counter for a moment, before walkibg to the doorway. "When did you want to go?" Whenever Ryo was indeed ready to go (after changing clothes of course), he allows the other to lead the way to his house.

Ryo took a sip from the cup before him. "That sounds like a lovely idea. I would love to spend the day with you Byakko. Just promise me you'll keep your clothes on." he said teasingly. He felt like the other was actually asking him out. However he didn't say that. He just continued to wonder what all of Byakko's actions meant. He still had the key and note to figure out as well.

Once breakfast was over, Ryo stood up so he could return to the room and change. "We can leave whenever you'd like. My mother is home most of the time so its impossible not to find her." he said as he walked up to the room and changed. After he was finished he met Byakko near the door and then started to walk towards his house. Ryo glanced over at the other male. "Please watch yourself when there. I don't trust those people as far as I could throw them"

They leave the house and Byakko allows Ryo to lead him to the house, hearing the words of warning, making him chuckle softly. "Don't worry, I'll be fine." He grins at the other, and when they finally arrive at the house, he looks around, before stepping into the house after Ryo, and keeping quiet. And right away, his mother appears, her eyes growing wide at seeing him there. "You!" She says, her voice in a gasp. "Hello again. Long time no see." His eyes twinkle lightly as he smiles at her, her own filled with confusion to him being there. "May I speak with you? It's something that concerns your son and the promise you made Seiryuu agree to." She nods, and after a glance to Ryo, Byakko nods, before going into a room with his mother.

It took about thirty minutes for him to talk to his mother, but like he'd predicted, she agreed to Ryo moving in with him in the end. For his protection, as he'd said to her. He leaves the room, and looks around for Ryo, and once finding him, he smiles again. "So...she agreed to allow you stay with me. I'll tell you the details about it later. Right now, just grab a few of your things, or all of them, and let's go." He then offers to help pack. Ryo's mother had left for a short while, so that it was just Ryo and Byakko in the house now.

Ryo walked with the other as he soon arrived at his place. He opened the door and walked inside. His gaze drifted down as he noticed his mother walked out. He didn't say anything to her since they rarely ever talk anyway. He slowly moved aside as Byakko began speaking to her. He was curious as to what he would tell her but in all honestly he didn't care. So long as she agreed to him leaving.

He went up to his room before seeing the male once again. "So she agreed to it. You must be one persuasive talker or she saw your way out. Either which way I am happy. I don't have much so it'll only be two small boxes and my school bag. It shouldn't take long." he said as he began packing his thing into two small boxes.

"You could say that..." He replies, grinning at the comment Ryo had made about him being a persuasive talker. He then begins to help pack the things the other owned, and when they were finished, he carries the boxes, and lets Ryo carry the bag. They leave the house, and head back Byakko's place, eventually reaching it and going inside. He carries the boxes up the steps, and places it into the room where Ryo was to be staying. "Well...welcome to your new home. I'll have to use some of my savings to get a copy of the house key made for you, but it shouldn't cost too much."

He waits for a bit, and then goes downstairs, waiting for the other to join him. He was sitting on a low couch in the front room, cross-legged, trying to think of what they could do that day. He knew at some point he needed to do his usual duties at the shrine, but wasn't sure if Ryo would want to right now. Might as well ask. When Ryo came to the room, he stood up. "Hey, I know you said you didn't have plans...but is there anything you want to do today? I mean...if you wanted, we could just walk around. Think up something to do, as we walked you know?" He rubs the back of his neck, smiling a bit. "At some time...would you like to join me when I do the rounds at the shrine? If not, you could just hang out here..."

Ryo looked at the other as they left his house and headed back to his. He was silent for a while until they arrived back. "You make me feel so welcomed." he said as they placed his things in the room. He wonders what would happen from here on out. It felt like his family had fully disowned him without having to lift a finger. As much as one should be sad he actually felt relief. His gaze moved towards Byakko as he spoke about a key. "I could buy one if you want me to." he said as he walked out the room and down the stairs.

Watching Byakko sit upon the couch he thinks to himself a little. "We could do anything actually. I normally would escape my house to hang with my friends. This would be a first doing something I actually want to." he said before sitting beside him. He smiled a little to himself. "We can start off with your shrine duties. After that lets see where the day takes us." he said

"Don't worry, I can get it..." He replies to Ryo's offer to pay for the copy of the house key. They were now sitting on the couch and talking. Apparently Ryo was okay with doing anything. "Well, alright. Let's go." He stands again, motioning for Ryo to follow, and they leave the house once again. Heading across the street, they both go up the steps that lead up to the shrine. Once there, he does like before and checks the prayer boxes, and the offertory box.

After he'd finished, even having talking to some of the patrons, they head back down the shrine stairs, and walk towards where the business area was downtown. Even though he was wearing a traditional kimono, and sandals, and got many stares, Byakko didn't really care. He had a pouch of money with him, just in case they wanted to get something to eat, or buy something just for the heck of it. "So...any place you want to go, or is walking around okay with you? At some point we can get lunch..." Glancing at Ryo, Byakko walks with his hands folded across his chest, and his hands inside the opposite sleeves.

"Are you sure about that Byakko? I don't want to be considered a freeloader." he said as the other mentioned he would take care of the key. His gaze lowers for a moment but it doesn't last long. He's back looking at Byakko and following him across the street. He was feeling rather odd about things now. He still couldn't consider himself a believer as he once use to be. However he had some faith and that was solely in Byakko. The other surely opened his eyes to the extreme. Ryo figured if he were to believe in a higher being he would believe in Byakko as that being.

Once the other was finished at the shrine, he walked beside him towards some shopping areas. "I know of one place I would like to go. I had always passed by knowing full well there was something I wished to buy. I gave up getting this item long ago but now is the perfect time. Oh and you can't come into the store with me. Its a surprise." he said smiling

"Yeah, I'm sure..." Byakko smiles with his confirmation, nodding a well. They eventually reach the shopping area, and when Ryo speaks up, answering his question to having any places he wanted to go, Byakko smiles, a bit confused when Ryo said that he could not come into the store, since apparently it was a surprise. Shrugging, he just nods. "Okay then, let's go there first." He allows Ryo to take the lead, since he didn't know what store the other was talking about, simply going with the flow.

Once there, he stands aside, leaning against the building as he waited for Ryo to do whatever he needed to do. As he stood there, he got several strange looks, but all he did in return was smile back. It amused him when he saw the change of expression on their faces. After a short while, his eyes drift upwards, and he gazes at the blue sky, dotted with fluffy white clouds. He sighs, and begins humming to himself, quietly. It was such a nice day today. He wondered if Ryo wouldn't mind going to a park later, since it was such a wonderful day.

Ryo led the way towards the shop. He quickly went inside once they arrived. It wasn't long before he walked out with a small gift box in hand. He looked at Byakko and smiled. "You can decide where we go next. I got all I wanted out of today." he said softly as he held the gift box in his hand. He wonders what the other might have planned after this.

As they started to walk again, something hit Ryo like a ton of bricks. He glanced over at Byakko and then to the side. He was sure the other probably hadn't noticed. At least he hoped so. He would have ignored it but that was impossible. "Hey Byakko. I have an idea. Why don't we do this for today. Go shopping, then stop for lunch, afterwards go to an onsen and stay the night. I bet it'll be a lot of fun" he said

Pushing off the wall as Ryo steps out of the store, he shrugs a bit. "I don't know...all I really planned on doing was walking around and get some lunch later..." He walks beside the other again, and for a short while they were quiet, before Ryo asks him something. "Huh? Oh, that sounds like a really good idea. I like it...the idea I mean." He smiles, glancing around as he tried to decide where to go. "Got any good places you'd like to go, or just...anywhere?"

He really didn't care where they went, so after a few more minutes, they go into a book store. It was actually the one where everything had pretty much started. They might have met up at the shrine, but here....Byakko looks around, picking up books, flipping through pages before setting it back down. Glancing at Ryo, he knew that the other had no clue that Byakko had been the voice speaking to him that day, urging him to buy the book on Byakko. "By the way..." he picks up a book with a dragon on it, that looked similar to Seiryuu. "What did you buy...back at the other store?"

"We can go anywhere around here. There is a really good book store nearby and even a fancy kimono shop. I would like to get similar kimonos for us to go to the onsen with. I mean if you want to that is." he said blushing a little. Being out with Byakko like this felt like a date but he was trying so hard not to make that noticeable. He didn't want the other to find him weird.

Arriving at the bookstore, Ryo walked around a bit. "You might find this funny but the book I gave you came form here. The shopowner and some random guy gave me the push to buy it. It's funny but I might have bought it without that push." he sad glancing at the box in his hand. "Oh this is something I've wanted to replace for awhile. My father had given me them when I was younger but my mother took them away after the accident. So now I have new ones." he said opening the box to show Byakko.

Byakko begins laughing softly after hearing what Ryo had to say, considering he was the one who had convinced the guy to purchase the book. After a few moments he calms down enough to look inside the small box, his eyes widening slightly at what he saw. Four figurines, one of each Celestial Spirits. "Oh, I...I see...huh...." He reaches out and brushes his forefinger against the white figure of the tiger, the one of himself. Then he pulls his hand away, blushing gently, and rubs the back of his neck, clearing his throat awkwardly.

Picking out a book, one he thought would be handy now he had Ryo living at the house, (a cookbook), he heads to the checkout and purchases. When they leave, he looks over at the other. "Oh, about the kimonos...we can get you one if you like...b-but um...I...don't think...I should..." He blushes deep red, not wanting to tell Ryo that he hadn't been out like this in quite some time. Especially getting new kimonos. Holding tight to the bag with the book, he stares straight ahead, his cheeks still flushed.

Ryo looked at the other with a small smile. "I won't tell you which one is my favorite." he said as he moved to close the box once more. He watched as Byakko purchased a cookbook. He was curious as to why the other had picked something like that. He was going to ask but they started out of the store. His gaze moved to the side as they started walking again.

"We don't have to buy kimonos. I was just saying it would be fun is all. I mean after all we would get to spend even more time together." he said as he glanced down a little. He was slightly disappointed but tried his best to not let it show. "So where to next Byakko. You can pick this time." he said smiling

"H-huh? N-no! It's fine, we can go!" He reaches out, and tugs at Ryo's sleeve, preventing him from going past the shop. Byakko smile a bit, his cheeks red, but his eyes sparkle gently. "You can't hide what your feeling from me. Come on." He then proceeds to pull the other male into the kimono shop, where the owners made and sold hand made kimono, as well as custom designs. Stepping inside, he smiles even more, after spotting a kimono that no doubt would make Ryo smile.

"Look." It was a fancy silken kimono, with a design of white tigers, blue dragons, red Phoenix's, and dark shelled turtles, all sewn with shining g thread, upon a backdrop of the different seasons. A woman, dressed in yukata, walks over to them, and asks if they needed anything, and if they'd like to try anything on. "Hm...what do you say Ryo? Would you like to try on any of them? If you do...I guess I could try one on. I'll even let you choose." He smiles brightly, wondering what Ryo would say to this.

Ryo blinked as he suddenly felt himself being taken to the kimono shop. "You don't have to Byakko." he said but they were now inside. His eyes glanced at the different fabrics and styles he could choose from. Seeing the one Byakko pointed out didn't really fit his taste. Sure it had the four figures one it but its not what he would consider wearing. After all he didn't like all four. Just two were to his liking. One more than the others. However he didn't want to make that known. At least not yet.

As he turned to look at the other, a woman appeared. He was sure it was the shopkeeper. he glanced over at the many different styles to pick from. "Alright I will try two on. You have to try on two as well. I will pick of course." he said picking out two different kimono for Byakko to try on. He then found two he would try on as well. "I do hope you like the ones picked." he said

"Of course." He goes into a changing room, and puts the first on, liking the simple design. Then, changing to the second, he raises an eyebrow. "Yeah, um...the second just isn't my thing." For both he showed Ryo how they looked, pointing out he liked Ryo's first choice as well, the second was too girly for the other male, noting it was a woman's yukata. Once he'd changed back into his own clothing, folding the kimono he liked most over his arm. He then purchases the kimono, he waits for Ryo, and they leave.

"So, um...would you like to get lunch now?" He looks over at Ryo, smiling brightly. "By the way...I noticed the one kimono you chose only had two of the celestial spirits. Myself and Seiryuu. May I ask...are those your favorites? Which is your...number one? Grinning, he chuckles softly. "Just kidding, you don't need to answer that." A faint blush decorates his cheeks, as he walks down the sidewalk next to Ryo, sighing softly. This was indeed, starting to become fun for him, it had been quite some time since he'd done something like this.

Ryo looked at the other as he went to try on the kimono. "Aww, I really liked the second one on you. I found the red and black to be very fitting. However the first one is very nice too. I am glad you liked one." he said smiling. He then went to try on the two he had picked out. He tried on the blue and white one first. He knew it was feminine but that didn't bother him. He walked out a bit so Byakko could see it. He then tried on his first pick. This is the one he really wanted. It had the tiger and dragon print. This made him very happy. He walked over to the counter to pay for his as well. "Alright lets head to the next place." he said happily.

Once outside, Byakko asked him about the kimono he picked. His cheeks instantly turning red. "Uh, well I picked that one because its possible those two are my favorite. As for my number one I won't tell you. Its embarrassing to say which one it is. Besides, I don't need you making fun of me." he said pouting a little. His gaze drifting to the side as he noticed a shop coming into view. "Why don't we have lunch there. Its a ramen shop."

Byakko laughs brightly, his eyes sparkling softly. "It's fine, you don't have to tell me." He winks playfully at Ryo, his laughter dying down to soft chuckles, his cheeks red from his merriment. After a short while of silence between the two, Ryo speaks up, pointing out a traditional ramen shop. "Sure. Hey, fun fact of the day. That particular shop has been in this area for over fifty years, starting out as a simple stand. Pretty cool, huh?" He didn't mention the fact he'd tasted the food from the ramen stand, not wanting to freak the other out or anything.

They head inside, the owner smiling and waving at them as they walked over, sitting down. "Ah, Byakko! It's been quite some time since I've seen you come around here! How's the shrine work treating you? And I see you're still looking as young as ever! Maybe that's why Yu-" Byakko reaches out and presses his hand over the guy's mouth. "It's good to see you to Hajikure-san. Still as...TALKATIVE...as I remember. Please stop. While you're ahead. I don't want to talk about that, and you know it."

He pulls his hand away, and sighs. "Ryo, meet Kamaro Hajikure-san. He's a descendant of the original owner of this shop. Hajikure-san, meet Ryo-kun. He's a friend of mine." The man named Hajikure smiles. "Ah, a friend of Byakko? Well then, today your meal is my treat, get whatever you want, on the house!" Once Ryo orders, the man begins to work on it, knowing already what Byakko wanted. Looking to Ryo, Byakko smiles. "Forgive him. He's kind of...out there."

Ryo looked at Byakko as he pointed out a little fact about the shop. His gaze drifting to the shop and then then the other. "That's along time for a shop to be open. Their food must be really good. Wait, how would you know that kind of fact?" he said leaning close to him. He was sure Byakko couldn't be that old. Then again he wasn't completely human so maybe it was possible. Ryo was going to ask but not now. Today was going to be a fun one.

Stepping inside, Ryo looked around at how interesting the shop was. It surely had a classic ramen shop feel to it. He was still looking around before the owner suddenly appeared and greeted Byakko. He pretended not to see Byakko's sudden reaction to the male's words. He knew it was better to play it off as if he was still looking around. As he did this suddenly he noticed Byakko introducing the owner to him. "Its a pleasure to meet you." he said with a smile.

Ryo was surprised the male said the meal would be on the house. This felt really weird but he couldn't question it. He orders a bowl of Shoyu and then glanced over at Byakko. "No need to apologize. I am sure he is just happy to see you. I know I am every time I get to see your face." he said before covering his mouth. That was just too close to sounding like a confession.

"Oh...really? You get happy when you see me? Well, that makes me happy. I like seeing you as well." Byakko smiles at Ryo, not as completely oblivious to how Ryo felt as he was letting himself look like he was. "Oh, and to your question before...it's a secret." He winks, chuckling quietly as he sat there. For a moment, a sudden burning desire had rushed through him as he looked at the other male, forcing himself to look away. No, there was no way he could feel like that...could he? Byakko felt suddenly confused, and the appearance of a bowl of Seafood Ramen set in front of him was the perfect distraction.

Grabbing a pair of chopsticks, he breaks them apart, trying to ignore the fact his cheeks were flushed red, and Hajikure was pointing this out. Finishing the bite in his mouth, he growls softly, glaring up at the man. "Do you mind, Hajikure-san? Go serve some other customer instead of bugging me!" He makes a shooing motion with his hand, making the older man laugh. "Still the Byakko I know so well. Anyway, enjoy your food!" Leaving, it was now just Byakko and Ryo sitting there.

"So...after this it'll be late afternoon, so um...what did you want to do? Did you want to shop some more, or just go to the onsen? We'd have to go by train to get to the nearest one, so if we set out right after this we'd make it by early evening. But first we'd have to stop by the house, drop things off and get others, you know?" Falling silent, he takes another bite of his ramen, savoring the flavor as he ate. Trying to figure out why he had suddenly felt what he'd felt, confusion filling him. He glances at Ryo, knowing a little the way the human felt towards him, but just barely. Could he, Byakko, be developing feelings towards a mortal? Shaking his head, he eats more. Not again. It had been too painful.
