Ryo couldn't answer Byakko but the truth was clearly written across his face. He avoiding looked at the other until Byakko said what he had. "Wait what!? No, I am sure your joy in seeing me is nothing like the joy I get in seeing you. However I am happy to hear you say something like that." he mutters as he waited for the ramen to arrive. He really was letting his guard down far too much. Though despite knowing this he didn't mind.

 

As the owner brought them their ramen, Ryo focused solely on eating. He knew if he let his mind wander he would focus on Byakko and his noodles would get soggy. As he was closing to finishing, the other asked about the rest of their day together. "Uh, yeah lets head to the onsen after this. I don't mind if we have to go back to your place first. As long as we are together then it counts. After all this is our 'Spend time Together' day."

"Alright then..." He smiles, and when they finished, he thanks his friend before leaving, guiding the way back to his house, though remembered something and made a quick stop, making an order for a copy of his house key to be made, before finally getting back. Right away he heads inside, dropping the cookbook off in the kitchen, before heading upstairs, getting a couple of things before heading downstairs again, waiting for Ryo to join him again. He'd gotten extra money, plus a few personal things as well.

 

Once ready, he leaves the house, his newly purchased kimono in a bag he was carrying, as well as an extra pair of sandals. It didn't take long to get to the public transportation train area, and getting on after paying for the route they were taking, and finding a seat on the train. "If I had a car I'd drive, and if it was just me...I could run. Unless you would have no qualms about riding on the back of a tiger....Hehehe." He smiles brightly at Ryo, his bag in his lap, his fingers restlessly fiddling with the straps. "It should take about an hour or so to get there..." Byakko says this more to himself than to Ryo, sighing softly.

After finishing the ramen, he thanks the cook before following Byakko. The other was so quick on his feet. He was sure it was because he was a tiger. He felt like he's get left behind if ever slightly distracted. He did his best to keep up as they suddenly stop at another shop. Ryo would have asked why but he noticed it was a key shop. This made him happier than anything. Though he made sure not to say anything about it. Once arriving back at Byakko's place, Ryo went up to the room. He placed the things he bought down and then packed a small sack with things to go to the onsen with.

 

Once ready, he left again at Byakko's side and went to the train station. Sitting on the train beside the other was a bit relaxing. "If you had a car I wouldn't let you drive it. As for that, I'm not a child so that would be a little embarrassing. If only I had met you when I was smaller. I wouldn't hesitate to accept such an offer." he said smiling a little. Ryo had stopped believing many things as a child but one thing he seemed to hold onto was his faith for the white tiger. Despite always saying he wasn't a believer, that was one thing he never stopped believing in. He wouldn't let Byakko know that no letter what.

"You wouldn't let me drive it? Why not? Oh...wait, never mind..." He felt stupid just then, so latches onto what Ryo had said last. He says nothing though, instead he smiles, and nods in agreement. It would have been nice to meet Ryo when the male had been younger, but at that time Byakko had been in the mountains, having abandoned his shrine for a good fifty plus years. He was ashamed to admit it, and hoped he would never be asked about it. It was something he didn't like thinking of, let alone talk about. So many had lost faith in him because of what he'd done, he had just up and left them all behind.

 

"Maybe...someday...I'll take you to the place where I come from...then...you could meet Suzaku, and Genbu...and Kohryu...I want you to...met my family..." Sighing, the sun warm on his back, it made him sleepy. Byakko fought to keep his eyes open, but he was just so comfortable. And, without even thinking on it, he slumps over sideways, his head resting on Ryo's shoulder, a soft purring sound coming from the back of his throat, and a look of content on his face. Thankfully not many people were taking this train, so no weird looks were given to them.

Ryo stared forward as he let Byakko figure out that on his own. It was obivious why he wouldn't let the other drive. However he let it go this time since they were having a good day. Bringing up bad memories wasn't wgat he wanted to do. As he sat there he wonders about something. What if he had met Byakko as a child? Would they still talk to this day? Those kinds of things floated about in his mind. Somehow Ryo was glad to have met Byakko now instead of before.

 

"Your family....? I guess it would be nice to meet the others. However...." he stopped himself before he said too much. There were some things Ryo just couldn't bring himself to say so easily. As the silence suddenly took over; Ryo noticed Byakko leaning on him. He would have pushed him off but he noticed the male was asleep. Smiling to himself he let Byakko rest. It was both mesmerizing and captivating to see such a handsome person like this asleep as he was. Ryo counted himself extra lucky today.

By the time Byakko opened his eyes again, it was five minutes until they got to their stop. He yawns widely, stretching his arms above his head as he sits up. "Well, that was a nice nap. Sorry about using you as a pillow, you're so comfortable..." Smiling at Ryo, he yawns again, and looks out the window, staring at the scenery that went by. And, when he was fully awake, they arrive, and he guides Ryo off the train and out of the station area, heading towards the onsen. It didn't take too long to get there, and Bakko had paid and gotten them a room to stay in.

 

"So...um..h-hot springs first huh? Let's do it, yeah?" Setting his things down, he pulls out his kimono, and allows Ryo then to lead the way. It wasn't very hard to find the springs, thankfully it wasn't occupied, and it was, at that moment, males only. "You go on ahead...I...uh...will be in after you." Taking off his clothing, he wraps a white towel around his waist, and slowly walks in the direction Ryo had gone. A huge outdoors hot spring comes into view, and surprisingly, it was just the two of them.

 

Carefully he walks to the water, and kneels next to it where Ryo was, dipping his fingers in the water, and then quickly pulls them out again. He hadn't told Ryo before, but he had a thing with water. After a moment though, he unwraps the towel at his waist, and lowers himself into the water, trying to hide his discomfort from the other, but doing a terrible job at it. Once he had himself situated and settled down, he looks over at Ryo, the steamy water making his hair curl up just slightly. "So...um...yeah...today has been fun!" He smiles, blushing gently.

Ryo looked at the other as he began waking up. "Don't worry about it. I enjoyed being your pillow for the moment. After all I got to your sleeping face." he said smiling happily. Eventually the train stops and they get off. He walked with him to the onsen. After arriving and getting to their room his gaze drifts to Byakko. He nods in agreement to head to the springs. This got Ryo thinking a little. He didn't say it but he kept thinking about something interesting.

 

Once near the springs, his gaze moved to Byakko. "I'll go ahead first then. Don't take too long alright." he said as he stripped and placed a towel around his waist. He then heads out into the water and waits for him. When Byakko finally joined him he grins. "So this big kitty really doesn't like water? I was curious about that but it's been confirmed. I hope you aren't too uncomfortable for you. We could always just to back to the room and relax."

Byakko grumbled at the comment Ryo made, flushing up in embarrassment. "Sh-shut up...it's not funny..." He stares down at the water he was sitting in, then runs his fingers through his hair, sighing softly. He indeed hated water, but he wasn't going to let that ruin the evening he was having. "It's fine, don't worry. I'll be fine, we can stay." Leaning his head back, he closes his eyes, once more forgetting something abut himself, something important. Something he should never forget.

 

The heat began to get to him, making him light headed. He remains as he was, head tilted back, eyes closed, cheeks red. For a while he was silent, before he spoke up, his voice mumbling but completely coherent, each word clear. "Ryo? I have a question...do you like me? And I mean...more than just friends." He opens his eyes, and looks over at the other, moving a bit, so he was close to Ryo. "Be honest..." He leans closer. "If you don't tell me...I might end up making a mistake..." Their faces were close, Byakko looking deep in to Ryo's eyes, their lips inches away. "Tell me..."

Ryo giggled softly as he looked at him. "I'm sorry for teasing you. It's just surprising to find out that water gets to you like this. I mean you are part human so I thought it would be alright. Next time you can pick the events of the day. This way it's something we both can enjoy to the core." he said not noticing he was planning another day out. He began to relax beside the other as it was a perfect moment together.

 

As time went by, Ryo noticed that Byakko's face was a bit red. He was going to say something but then the male began moving in. His own face heating up but not because of the water. "Uh, Byakko.... Your question is so sudden. Besides, I'm doing my best not to say anything that might make things weird between us." he started to say but stopped. "However if you rally want to know then my answer is yes. I do like you more than a friend. Even before finding out you were a tiger."

Byakko didn't even bother correcting Ryo, because he wasn't half human. He was one hundred percent tiger, but with a human form. Being a celestial spirit, he got cool abilities like that and all. As he waited for Ryo's answer, and then got it, Byakko wasn't at all surprised at the reply he'd gotten. "Well then...you wouldn't mind if I did this...would you?" He closes the gap between their lips, pressing his own against Ryo's. His lips were soft and silky, as if kissing a rose petal. After a moment he pulls back, wearing a tiny, rather seductive smile upon his face. "I asked because I've realized something. I like you too..."

 

His eyes, still locked onto Ryo's, shimmer softly. One of his hands reach up to gently take hold of Ryo's chin, his thumb brushing against the other's bottom lip. Byakko was being affected even more by the steaming hot water, muddling his thoughts and actions, not realizing completely what he was admitting to. Yes, he felt like this towards Ryo, but in a clearer state of mind, he would have never done anything like this.

Ryo didn't have time to really respond to the other. His lips instantly captured by Byakko's in a passionate kiss. He closed his eyes not sure if this was real or a dream. Once he felt the other moved back, he glanced to the side. His cheeks had gone completely red. "Byakko... I am not ready for all of this at once. I am really happy you like me back but can our pace slow down a bit. I don't plan to leave your side any time soon." he said not wanting the other to hear how loud his heart was beating.

 

As the was looking away for a little bit, his chin is suddenly captured by the tiger. He was starting to feel like prey to the beast. In honesty that didn't sound as scary as he thought it would. "Byakko are you sure about this? I am another guy after all. Also you are a sacred being. I don't want you to break any sacred rules or anything." he said not sure how dating a celestial being would work.

"Of course it can slow down..." He murmurs, easily hearing the pounding of Ryo's heartbeat due to his heightened sense of hearing. It felt almost as if Ryo were a deer, trapped in a corner, no way to escape the beast which was within Byakko, that deadly tiger. He tightens his grip just barely, making Ryo look at him, a look of hunger glinting in his eyes. At the questions that were asked, Byakko simply laughs. His voice low, sultry, reflecting his animal side. In no way, shape, or form did any of that matter.

 

"Yes, I'm sure. I don't give a damn if you're a male. I am, as you said, a celestial being. I do as I please. If I want to date you, then I will. There are rules, yes...but nothing to do with whom I chose as a mate. In reality, it's you, Ryo, who needs to be careful." His hand moves from Ryo's chin, to brush softly against the other's cheek, his palm resting there for a moment, before pulling away. "I can't help being attracted to you..." He leans forward again, but doesn't kiss Ryo this time. After a moment he stands, securing the towel around his waist, and stretches his arms above his head.

Ryo stares up at Byakko feeling just a small ounce of intimidation. He wasn't sure why but he felt frozen in place as he wasn't sure what to say next. Things between them just seemed to escalate so suddenly. He didn't want anything to go wrong and then they became enemies or something of that nature. He knew just how kind Byakko was so he didn't want things to end badly. especially since they were having such a wonderful day. His gaze drifts down a bit as the other seemed to laugh a little.

 

"I suppose that makes some sense. Being a celestial being shouldn't interfere with your personal love life." he said as he flinched slightly. "Why do I need to be careful!? Sure you are a tiger but that doesn't mean anything. To me you are Byakko the guy who takes care of the shrine and the guy you stole my heart. I don't see why I would need to be careful." he said blushing. Ryo shook his head as he heard the other. "You don't have to worry since I am attracted to you as well."

"Why do you need to be careful?" He leans over again, and taps Ryo's forehead. "It's got nothing to do with me. It's got to do with the others...they uh...might get jealous." Kissing Ryo's cheek, he grins as he pulls away again. It was starting to get late, and the light around them began to fade as the sun began setting. Looking up, he takes a deep breath, before climbing out of the water, water dripping off of his skin. Shaking his head, a few drops of water flicks from it, and then looks to Ryo again.

 

"Anyways...it's getting late. Let's head back." He walks away, and goes inside, pulling on his kimono, and once Ryo joined him, they go to their room. Sitting on a cushion, he relaxes a bit, closing his eyes partway. "Do you want to get dinner now or later, since we just recently ate no too long ago." Tracing his finger along the floor, he moves so he was laying on his side, propping himself up with his arm, his kimono open at the top so his chest could be seen, as well as all his tiger stripe markings.

"Jealous!? I suppose it's possible but Ive only met one other. I doubt the rest would find me interesting as you do. I guess the only one we'd really have to worry about is Seiryū but I'm sure we won't, right?" he said as he noticed Byakko so close. He was really having a hard time staying calm around the other. Ryo didn't want to seem too excited about their relationship suddenly esclating to another leve. However that was easier said than done. Hie eyes fixated on the other as they headed back to the room.

 

Once there he put on his kimono and sat in front of the other. His eyes gazing upon Byakko's chest. "I'm not hungry right now. I mean we onl sat in water. I havent built up an appetite yet." he said as he reached his hand out to lightly touch his chest. "For a moment there I thought you were covered in scars or something. These are you stripes right?" he asked as he lightly touched them without thinking.

They were of course, back in the room, Byakko resting on his side, thinking of a good enough reply to tell Ryo about the jealousy of the other Celestial Spirits. He might have only met Seiryuu personally, but by no means neither Suzaku or Genbu hadn't seen Ryo around. They were like Byakko after all. They could conceal themselves, and move around in secrecy. As he lay there, he speaks up. "You not only have to worry about Seiryuu, but the other two as well. I'm not so sure about Kohryu, but you never know...for some reason when a Celestial being gets attached to a mortal, the others seem to get a bit jealous."

 

He blinks in surprise when his chest was touched by the other, and blushes at the question. "Yes, they are. I think they would make rather weird scars, since they're black in color, but I can see where you would think that." He tugs on the kimono to open it more, to show a little more of the stripes, and how they were patterned across his skin. He liked the feeling of Ryo's fingers upon him, it made tiny goose bumps form wherever his fingers landed, a soft smile upon his lips. A satisfied sigh slips from between his lips, and he closes his eyes just a tiny bit. "Ryo...you know you don't have to hide from me. Don't hesitate in doing what you want...okay?"

"Is that so..? I suppose I'll do my best to not raise attention to our relationship. I wouldn't want you to start a war or something. After all jealousy is a dangerous emotion." he said as he really was a bit worried now. He didn't want to cause conflict. However he didn't plan to dump Byakko to avoid it. So it was like a rock in a tough place. Ryo was sure he could handle it whenever it arises.

 

His fingers continue to move across the skin until Byakko said something weird. "Don't say that!! You make it sound like I want to do something naughty. I just like the feel of your skin is all. Also touching you like this makes me happy. Does it not have the same effect on you Byakko?" he asked as he stopped moving his hand for a moment. Ryo wasn't thinking of doing anything much. He did want to kiss the other again. Though he wasn't sure if he could actually pull it off. "Byakko i um..... There's something on your face. Let me get it off." he said leaning in close to him. It was probably the most cheesy line ever.

"Haha, don't be like that. I was just teasing. And besides, I like it too, it feels nice..." He says this, a smile on his lips, and a twinkling certainty in his eyes. Byakko did indeed enjoy the sensation of Ryo's fingers tracing his skin, it was something he hadn't felt in such a long time, but even so...it was different all the same. It felt more...intimate. Closing his eyes just a bit, he opens them soon enough when Ryo's hand suddenly stopped moving, making him wonder what the other was thinking. Staring at the other's face, he was amused by what came next.

 

A smirk forms upon his lips again at the statement Ryo had made about having something on his face, knowing full well there was nothing there. His eyes followed the other's every movement, noting how close he had gotten, their faces inches apart, just like before in the hot springs. "Well then...will you get it off for me?" He murmurs, his voice sounding much like a purr. He was guiding the other along, urging him to take a step forward, but at his leisure. Byakko didn't want to seem to forceful, even though it was his nature as a tiger to be like that. Although, it would also seem, despite that fact, Ryo thought of him as a kitten, and Byakko didn't mind one bit. It was nice. He waits, wondering if Ryo would actually take the initiative and kiss him.

Ryo had tossed the idea out there and now he had to deliver on it. He was nervous like hell. Inching closer he closed his eyes as he slowly pressed his lips to Byakko's. He wasn't sure if the other realized this was what he was going to do. He slowly moved away after the sweet and gentle peck. "Uh, I got it off. Um, Byakko you really have soft lips." he said blushing as he sat still rather close to the other. "Hey you can do something too you know. I am sure you are a lot older than me. Besides, I've never dated anyone and I doubt dating is anything like in a manga. So help me out here." he said flustered.

 

Ryo didnt want to seem pushy however his heart was racing like wildfire. He really would like some help with this. Even if it was a little push. He was trying his best but his only reference on the topic was through manga and anime. This was nothing like either of the two.

Byakko smirks in the gentle, soft kiss he'd gotten from Ryo, looking at the other as he pulled away. Hearing the words spoken to him, he laughs quietly, shaking his head in amusement at the situation. "You're really something, you know that?" He then moves forward, his face up close to Ryo's, his hand moving to rest on the other's shoulder, fingers curling softly against him. All this comparison between real life romance and manga/anime was hilarious. They had similarity, but it was only a tiny bit. Manga and anime was nothing compared to this.

 

Without any warning, he pushes Ryo onto his back, and moves so he was hovering over him, his legs pinning the human in place, on either side of the other's hips, his hands on Ryo's shoulders. Then, he leans down, and before pressing his lips against the other's, he whispers something. "Lesson One. Don't hesitate around me." He then passionately, and rather hungrily, kisses Ryo, closing his eyes a bit, turning his head to make the contact deeper. After a moment he pulls back to breath, but moves in again, licking the space between Ryo's top and bottom lip, asking for permission.

Having Byakko so close like this was a bit weird. He felt oddly shy which was a first for him. He began to wonder exactly how much the other knew about how he was currently feeling. Ryo knew he felt nervous and his heart felt like it would pop out his chest any minute. To top it off, he was with his first crush ever. This was something he never excepted to happen. He had people ask him out before. Gender never was the reason he rejected them. It was mostly his family that he worried about. So he never dated anyone. Byakko was clearly different. He wasn't effected by his family so this made it easier to say yes to dating him.

 

Ryo was blushing and slot moved his gaze to look upon the other. Though suddenly he was pushed down. His eyes widen as he looked at Byakko. "Lesson one...?!" he said a bit surprised as he was suddenly kissed. His cheeks felt hot as he closed his eyes giving into the passionate kiss. His gaze moved to the side as he suddenly realized this was a really good kiss. When Byakko backed away for air his soft pants could be heard. "I think lesson one is well covered." he said before the other seemed to be after yet another kiss. He didn't hesitate this time. As he leans up to capture the tiger's lips

His eyes shimmer with delight as this next time around, Ryo doesn't hesitate in kissing back. Taking initiative, he slips his tongue between Ryo's lips, as the other had not objected. Doing so, he deepens the contact even more, his warm breath mixing rather nicely with Ryo's, as his tongue moved expertly within Ryo's mouth, tasting him, exploring. Though the other had no experience, Byakko was willing to show him the ropes, just as long as Ryo didn't always continue being completely clueless. Though to be honest, that clueless quirk was a turn on for him. And it showed, most definitely.

 

"Lesson Two. Touching is a must." He whispers this in Ryo's ear, his mouth right next to it, his voice sultry and low. Pulling away, he moves his lips down, kissing all along Ryo's jaw and neck area, his breath hot on the others skin. Every now and then he runs his tongue along, making a trail with the very tip, knowing from experience this kind of thing was liked by humans. Byakko liked it too, considering he got to taste Ryo, his tongue able to literally pick up the 'flavor' of Ryo's soul. One of his hands goes down, starting at Ryo's chest, moving from there, slowly descending and slipping beneath the fold of the kimono touching his stomach, his hand now on bare skin, coming to a rest upon Ryo's hip. All the while he continued kissing on Ryo's neck, shoulder, and collarbone area.

Ryo felt really happy he was able to kiss Byakko without fainting. It was a really good kiss. His cheeks flush as he suddenly felt the other slip his tongue pass his lips. This was one passionate kiss which he didn't expect. However he didn't back away from either. He gave in and even twirled his tongue with Byakko's a little bit. He had seen this in a few manga and knew what should come next.

 

To his surprise Byakko's second lesson was exactly that. His cheeks as red as tomatoes and his body as hot as fire. His body was giving into this perfectly. Slowly moving his hands up, Ryo touched the other's hair. "Byakko.... I want to touch you too. It's no fair if I'm the only one feeling good." he said giving an innocent expression. Ryo smiled a little to himself. He suppose reading manga wasn't all unuseful. He was able to use w thing or two he learned from them.

Feeling the hand in his hair, he pauses to look up into Ryo's eyes, hearing the comment that was made, a soft smirk forming on his lips. "Well then...go ahead and touch me. I'm not stopping you from what you desire." Just from being close to Ryo, Byakko could sense the longing in the other male, the way his body gave into his touch, the burning of his skin and the warmth Byakko could feel beneath his fingertips. This human, Ryo, could not resist him, and in return, Byakko could not hold back when it came to Ryo.

 

Once Ryo began touching him, Byakko continued what he had been doing for a moment longer, before speaking again. Unsure of how far Ryo was willing to go, he was careful in his actions, and what he did next. "Lesson Three. Raise the heat a bit..." With those words, he begins to kiss Ryo again on the lips, even more passionately than the first few times, while his hands moved to tug the kimono off of Ryo's shoulders, revealing bare skin. He also opens the front up a bit, careful to keep the lower part closed still, and once that was done, he pulls Ryo up into a sitting position, allowing the top half of the kimono to fall to Ryo's waist.

 

His hands begin to wander over the exposed skin, one hand going along Ryo's back, the other along his chest and stomach area. The kiss ends, only to be replaced by another. However, as they were catching their breath, Byakko speaks up, his voice now husky and lust filled. "Tell me when you get uncomfortable. I don't want to go too far...." Byakko didn't want to end up doing something wrong, ending with Ryo being upset, but this moment was starting to get to him, and he could feel himself slowly losing his composure as every second slips by.

Ryo smiled as he reached his hands towards Byakko's skin. He gently touched the other across the chest. He loved how refined and detailed strips were. It really showed that animalistic side of the other. He wanted to touch more of Byakko but he wasn't sure if that would be going too far. His eyes scanned over Byakko's body before going to meet his gaze.

 

"Wait lesson three sounds a bit...." he began to say but stopped as the other started to kiss him. He loves these kisses between them. Byakko's lips felt so sweet to the touch. It was simply perfect. The kiss had him distracted from his kimono slowly being removed. As he was made to sit up Ryo looked at him silently. "Byakko..." he whispers softly. His body felt as if goosebumps were spreading everywhere that Byakko's hands touched. "I am perfectly fine in your arms. You have nothing to worry about because you're being so gentle. I trust you Byakko." he said inching closer so he could touch Byakko in the same way.
