Noctis was a bit worried as to the fact that Eric had not slept well, but there wasn't really anything he could do about that fact. He just hoped the human would relax soon, so that he would start feeling a bit better while staying there at his house. The ghoul wasn't one to like uncomfortable house guests, well, that was when he actually HAD guests, which was a rare event. But when he did, he wanted the other to feel welcome, happy, and as if they were in their own home. As for the whole room fiasco, he didn't really mind, however he nods when Eric said that he would ask the next time he wanted to read a book, which, in fact, was for the best.

"Alright. You do what you want. And yes, I actually would like to. It's the perfect day for me to make a venture outdoors. I really do want to go out, so do not feel as if you are forcing me, okay? I actually have a few errands that I've been putting off that really need to be done, so we shall do those, yes?" His eyes scanned Eric's face, noticing the different look upon the humans face, the glowing upon his features making himself smile a bit. He finally found a way to help the other male calm down and feel a bit more relaxed.

"I think that is okay. We shall do that, yes." He places his hand at the back of his neck, scratching there lightly for a bit, thinking for a few seconds before speaking up again, and idea coming to his mind. "Ah! I know, how about while we are out, we can get something? Plus, I want you to meet someone! He's a bit on the quiet side, but in ways he's definitely easy to get along with. What do you say?" He begins to move around the room, searching for something, and after a bit finds it, apparently he had been looking for his jacket, which was all black, with a hood, and the zipper was silver in color. As he pulls it on, and zips it up, he looks to Eric again. "When did you want to go? We can also go out for lunch if you want."

Reaching into the pocket, he was pleased to find his wallet. Going over to his desk, he picks up a set of old fashioned black skeleton keys on a chain, much like one might see dog tags on, slipping them around his neck, where they jingled softly. He then reaches out to Eric's hands and pulls them away from his face, smiling brightly. "Why do you hide your smile? It is nice. Much better than the sad look I've seen." He tilts his head, a bright grin on his own face, showing off his oddly pointed teeth, his purplish eyes twinkling in merriment. "And maybe, after we're done, I'll show you something I enjoy doing when we get back?"

Eric bounced slightly on his feet, Notcis was keeping him busy and distracted that his mind barely moved to Kris and what he was up to or doing at the moment. Of course he missed him but he wasn't able to dwell on that sad feeling for it not only was reactive to him but it was also destructive to Noctis. His smile didn't seem to falter however his hands stayed covering his face as he laughed at Noctis's new found excitement. He watched the silver haired figure walk around the room saying they would go do some errands and Eric only nodded to that idea perfectly fine with just getting out of the house.

The rain that night had given way to a beautiful sunny day, perfect for a day out on the town. "I would love to meet them! And I dont mind doing whatever...honestly I just want to get outside. I'm tired of moping around." he said softly to himself but he knew Noctis was able to hear and he smiled brightly his hands barely hiding the smile which played on his lips. He looked about himself and he said, "I'm ready when you are. We could leave now for all I care! I just have to get some shoes and I'll be ready to leave." he said and watched Noctis grab his coat and check his pockets seeming happy with what was in them.

He blinked and then jumped, he was face to face with Noctis and he felt the skin of the other male touch his own and hold it there. A blush covered his cheeks and his smile faltered slightly, "a-ah Noctis..." he didn't get to say anything more the man before him was already talking and he laughed softly through his embarrassing shock. "I would love for you to show me...but only if you wish to." he smiled softly and moved blushing darker as he pulled his hands away from Noctis' grasp. Why he was blushing, and why he felt the way he did was something unknown to him but he did like Noctis and he blushed darker as the thought crossed his mind.

"I-uh I'll go get my shoes! I'll meet you downstairs!" he said and smiled waving to him before leaving the man alone in his room. He jogged down the hall to his own room grabbing his wallet, phone, and his shoes looking at himself a moment. He shifted the hair out of his face and smiled lightly. He looked happier than he did the day he came here, and he knew it was because of Noctis. Kris made him happy but Noctis was helping him now and thats what he needed to focus on, how happy he was not the depression that lingered over his waking moments. He still would await a phone call from Kris and he would still wait for some form of acknowledgement from him but he wouldn't beg for it. He wouldn't whine and cry anymore, he just wanted to enjoy the time he had now.

Taking one last look at himself he shook his head and grabbed a small jacket pulling it onto his shoulders and he jogged down the stairs to the front door smiling brightly when he got there. He was ready to go, to enjoy the sun, to enjoy the company of Noctis. He just needed to smile, and to laugh and to have happiness again and in this split moment he would hold onto that feeling as best he could.

An even bigger smile than before makes it's way onto Noctis' face, as he watches Eric disappear through the doorway, and hears him as he makes his way down the hall towards the room that he was staying in, to put on some shoes. For a moment he just stood there, and after a few seconds the smile begins to fade, but does not disappear completely. Even though everything that was going on was not what he was used to, Noctis was grateful for this change of pace. It would do himself some good, and hopefully, after everything that had happened to the human, it would help Eric as well. They both needed this, and he was sure that this was one of the main reasons in why Kristopher had chosen him to watch over Eric while he was away doing what he needed to.

This last though passes through his mind, and then he too leaves the room, before heading down the stair case, seeing that Eric was already by the front door, waiting for him. The bright smile that greeted him as he appeared made his own grow once more, his heart fluttering ever so lightly, as it had been quite a while since anyone had ever smiled for him like that of how Eric was smiling just then. "Shall we go?" He says, before opening the door, allowing the warm sunshine to caress their faces, as they step outside of the house. Before they leave, he locks the front door, slipping the key back down the front of his shirt to rest upon his skin, and with that he leads the way down the front walk, turning onto the sidewalk, and heading towards town.

As they walked, he was quiet at first, but then speaks up. Pointing towards a certain area filled with trees and flowers, he smiles. "That's a really nice park. We should stop by there on out way back, yeah?" He looks at Eric from the corner of his eyes before continuing. "First though, we should get my chores finished with. We need to get groceries, house hold essentials, and then after that we can go and do what I promised. There we'll visit my friend too. Then, with that done, we can do whatever you want, okay?" He falls silent now, enjoying the beautiful day, it was such nice weather, a gentle breeze and a warm sun.

Because they were walking, it would take a bit longer that it had when Kristopher had driven, but it wouldn't be very much longer. Besides, it was enjoyable, just taking in the world as it slowly passed by. Noctis wasn't too fond of cars anyways, they were a pain in his opinion, and he was better off not driving. Not that he didn't own one, he just didn't find the use of driving it when he had his own two legs, or if he really wanted, just to use his speed to get himself somewhere. However, he knew that he'd have to get used to driving it at some point, because he had Eric there with him, and he couldn't force the guy to walk everywhere.

Eric bounced lightly on his heels as he waited by the door, his mind racing. He was shocked he had grown so...casual around someone like Noctis but he seemed to be gaining some feelings for the male. He blushed lightly and stopped bouncing, but he loved Kris, and he was kind of shocked any feeling was coming from his encounters with Noctis because Noctis didn't care for him at all. Although he had been smiling a ton this morning and seemed to want nothing more than a happy time with him. He jumped lightly hearing the soft footsteps of Noctis and he smiled softly letting the thoughts leave his mind. After leaving the house he let the sun dance on his pale skin and he pushed the hair out of his face to show his more than relaxed face to the sun.

He smiled and bounded off the steps following Noctis down the sidewalk. It didn't occur to him why they were walking and not driving because he really didn't mind walking, he did it every day to and from school so it wasn't strange for him. He looked about them as they walked noticing a beautiful expanse of forest and flowers, just as he had though of this and noticed it Noctis pointed it out. Eric smiled softly and nodded, "I would love to visit it, it looks beautiful just like you say." he smiled softly looking at Noctis and then back to the road closing his mouth and getting quiet just enjoying the company.

Eric then thought about something, "Noctis..." he asked softly looking at the male. "What is your friend like? I've been wondering what kind of person he or she is because well...you and Kris are very...different than the humans i'm around every day." he said and blushed. "I don't mean that in a bad way I just mean...you know that its a change for me to know that you guys arent-" he stopped himself and sighed. "I'm sorry I dont mean to sound rude, I guess what I'm asking is if your friend is like you and Kris or if he/she is like me..?" he asked softly almost worried of how the words were coming out of his mouth. He didn't mean to sound rude or talk down on him and kris because really they were better than the humans he saw every day. He loved talking to Noctis because it was a change, something new instead of all feelings and pain from humans.

Noctis turns his head as he listened to the question that Eric asked of him. For a moment he was silent, letting the human continue speaking, and once he had finished is part, Noctis smiles a tiny bit. He scratches the his cheek with his forefinger, a look of anxious amusement on his face. "Um, well, they are...different, that is for sure...And as you say...like Kristopher and I." He smiles a bit wider. "But don't worry! They are really nice, and very fun!" He reassures Eric of this fact, wondering if once the two met, he'd think this afterwards. He just hoped that things went smoothly...

Looking away, he blushes ever so faintly, the light pink a startling contrast to how his skin was. "So, um...is there any kind of places you like to go and do things? You know, go out to eat, or spend time?" He shoves his hands into his pockets, not knowing why all of a sudden he was starting to feel...anxious around the human. What was this feeling he felt? Glancing to the side at Eric, he sighs softly, the smile on his lips remaining.

He wondered what would happen to their friendship once Kristopher returned from where he was...would they still be friends? Would Eric ever want to speak to him again, or come over to his house? Even though it had only been a day and a half since having the human as a guest, Noctis was coming to enjoy the other's presence. It brought a light to his gloomy existence, and somehow...managed to make him feel more alive than ever before.

Eric smiled softly at the comment Noctis made, and he was glad to hear that he didn't think of his question in a bad way. "I'm sure it will all go well...I mean I'm kind of used to different lately. When I met you I knew you weren't...like me and I was fine with it." he said and blushed lightly looking at Noctis catching a glimpse of pink on the boys cheeks. He smiled brighter and looked away from him taking notice of the color. He was kind of happy he was blushing, but he didn't know why really.

"I honestly haven't been out of the house that much...me and my father fight often and when I'm not at school I'm cooking for him and taking care of him...so I dont really have anything I do for fun outside of reading." He blushed looking over at Noctis. "But I mean I'm not that hungry so we can just eat later if you want...you wont eat with me anyway so why bother going? How about we go to the beach!" He laughed softly and shok his head. "I'm just kidding, It would be so much fun though! Oh how about the fair? its in town right now isnt it?" he thought a moment. "Oh...I dont want you to have to be uncomfortable though..you know being around so many thoughts and emotions I feel you wouldn't enjoy yourself.." he said softly looking at Noctis kind of blushing at the thought of spending a day with him.

Eric wasn't hungry at all, which he thought kind of weird. He hadn't eaten for two days now, and he seriously wasn't hungry. He knew he was getting over the lonliness without Kris and the detachment he was feeling before but he still should be hungry. His eyebrows moved to one another causing wrinkles to form on his forehead, why wasnt he hungry? He missed Kris but he wasn't lonely anymore with Noctis here. He was having fun and honestly felt...like someone enjoyed spending time with him too. Which was something he didn't always feel with Kris, sometimes he felt like Kris could care less about him. He shook his head and smiled again, he wouldn't let the thoughts bother him, and for Noctis he would keep his mind on the present rather than the sadness that was locked away.

"Well...alright then." Noctis replies, a satisfied smile making it's way on to his face. His eyes had a certain happy shimmer to them, and at that moment he felt there was nothing in the world that could make his day bad. Just being there, enjoying this one on one time with Eric was enough to make him forget all of the terrible things in the world, and that was enough for him. He raises an eyebrow at the mention of going to the beach, but visibly cringes at the idea of going to a festival. All those people, everywhere, all around him. It would be an overload of emotions, and he doubted he'd be able to handle it without losing control.

"Um, maybe going to a festival wouldn't be the smartest of ideas. Like you said, all those feelings floating about and me being able to feel them all...I'd be laughing, crying, being in pain, all sorts of things all at the same time. It would be pretty weird to watch if you think about it...Not to mention the end result wouldn't be too pretty..." He laughs nervously, rubbing the back of his neck lightly. "But maybe another day we could go to the beach. That does sound nice. Though a bit later, when there won't be too many people there either. The weather is nice this time of year, so it brings a lot of people to the warm sands, you know?"

His mind then wanders, wondering just why Eric wasn't eating. It shouldn't be because he was sad or anything like that, and definitely not because he was turning. He was sure that Kris hadn't actually done the procedure to turn the human into a half-blood, so that shouldn't be the reason either... He was sure it was something though, and was worried, because from what he'd been told, Eric hadn't eaten for about two days now... Without anything to eat, he was sure Eric's energy would run out soon, no doubt start feeling sick. So before that happened, Noctis hoped the human would want to eat at some point during their outing. The part of downtown was starting to come into view, they'd been walking for quite some time at that point.

"First, the market, then something else, then lastly I'll introduce you to my friend." He lists off the things they were to do, leaving blanks as to what else they might find themselves doing, that day was pretty much a free for all, anything to keep Eric's mind off of the sadness from missing Kristopher. "I'm sure you'll like my friend, they're really nice."

Eric blushed and he looked at Noctis, "Yea I noticed how bad of an idea that was right after I suggested it!" he looked away toward the street they were walking along before looking back at Noctis. "You promise? You'll take me there when its less crowded?" he asked getting kind of closer to Noctis looking at him with a smile. "That way even when Kris comes back I can see you again!" he giggled lightly and looked infront of him pulling himself away from the males side.

He noticed the silence and decided to sit in it as well smiliing happily just enjoying the feel of the sun on his face. His hands slid into his jacket pockets and he strolled down the sidewalk smiling as if everything was perfectly fine, as if Kris wasn't so far away. As if he was right here with him, holding his hand or even just walking next to him like Noctis was, but Eric was happy for another reason and he really didn't understand it. But it was Noctis. He was happy with him, just spending the time with this awkward man made him smile more than he had in days.

Eric saw the skyline of the city and he sighed, he was getting kind of tired from the walk and he was more than happy to see the city. "You speak of your friend...as if they were more than one person." he said softly looking at Noctis. "I'm sure I wont have any problems with your friend..." he said smiling to Noctis glancing at him from the corner of his eye.

"Yes, I promise." He repeats, nodding as he says this, his face matching the smile that was on Eric's. He'd noticed how close the human had gotten to him, but says nothing, sure it wasn't anything serious or that the other wasn't paying attention to what he was doing in his excitement. "By the way, even after all of this is over and done with...if you'd like...um, well, you'd be uh...more than welcome...to er...come over any time you want...you know, to get away from the hectic life in town and be in peace and quiet...Yeah..."

For a while it was quiet until Eric speaks up again, asking about Noctis' friend. Hearing the question he smiles a bit. "Well, you could say that...But they are only one person so to speak." He was glad that Eric was confident about being okay with the friend, if he hadn't he wouldn't even suggest going to see them, but since he was positive that the human would be fine, he was more than happy to introduce the two. They finally arrive downtown, and a little while later they reach the store where Noctis usually got his food and staple items from. He has Eric wait outside, and when he returned about ten minutes later he was just as empty handed as he was from when he went inside. However, he doesn't say anything, and leads the way to the next spot.

They arrive at a familiar bookstore, dim and lightly lit, the most light coming from the sun streaming in through the window. They head inside, and like the time that Eric had been in there with Kristopher, it felt as if the moment they stepped through that door, the moment the bell on the hinge tingled and run, that someone was watching them, surveying their every movement. Even though Noctis could feel it too, he stepped forward with confidence, it was obvious by the look in Noctis' eyes that he was safe, and that nothing would happen. Because unknown to Eric, Noctis was more than a match for the book keeper that was hiding in the shadows.

Eric blushed and he looked down at his feet as he walked and he looked at Noctis again, "Hm...that sounds nice thank you.." he said to the offer of coming back after Kris came back. He felt warm by this, the open invitation for him to visit his new friend whenever he pleased was different but it was a good feeling, something he welcomed with a smile and red cheeks. As they walked he listened to the man talk of his friend and Eric nodded to some of the things he said his mind kind of wandering to what kind of person Noctis's friend could be.

He was nervous to meet this new person but he didn't let it bother him, he gradually without really noticing it walked closer to Noctis so they could talk without the need to dodge people walking through them and they could whisper when needed. However when they got to the store he patiently did as he was told leaning up against the wall to the store waiting patiently for Noctis to come back out to him. He looked confused seeing Noctis walk out with nothing in his hands but he said nothing, assuming he would have probably had the food sent to his home or something like that.

He didn't say anything until they got to the bookstore and his eyebrows moved to one another. "Noctis..." he spoke softly but the male walked freely into the store causing Eric to run after him and he grew closer to him. He looked about him and he shook his head, "I dont like it in here.." he said softly to Noctis his hands wanting to reach out and take the mans arm in his hands and hug onto him like a scared child but instead he just walked really close to him scared of what was in the bookstore. The look on the mans face however helped him, Noctis was completely calm and he was more than confident in himself. Eric blushed and he stared at him a moment before blinking and standing kind of taller, if he wasn't scared then he shouldn't be either. He was confident Noctis would take care of him, and if someone threatened them he would protect him.

"It's fine Eric, I'm more than a match for Taciturn. We won't be here long, I promise." He smiles at the human, and goes to a particular shelf, pulling a rather old and dusty book down. With this found, he walks over to the counter, where sure enough the guy from the time when Eric and Kristopher had been there was standing, waiting for them to make their purchase. "Hello...Noctis..." Taciturn says, his voice as monotonous and dead sounding as before. "Hello Taciturn. I'd like to purchase this book please." Noctis glances at Eric and gives him a reassuring smile.

After paying for the book and having it put into a black plastic bag, they leave the store and the creepy feeling that came with it. While inside Noctis had felt the fear that Eric had been feeling, but it had ended soon enough, as he guessed that from seeing him not nervous but confident, had helped the human calm down. It was definitely a factor of it, he was sure. As they walked away, down the sidewalk, he holds onto the plastic bag by the handles. "You can see what it is when we get back to my house, okay?" He grins, pretty sure that Eric would want to know what it was.

"And now, to my friend!" He leads the way, heading here and there, and once ore twice they took a turn down a shaded alley way. Fifteen minutes and fifty twists and turns later, they found themselves standing in front of a rather worn down two story brick house, some of the windows missing, the stone of the walls crumbling and falling apart, weeds in the cracks of the stone beneath their feet. Old vines and ivy grew up the side of the house, roses growing on some of them. It seemed abandoned, but Noctis stood there as if waiting. "Specter? Are you there? I've brought someone for you to meet!"

If one peered around to the back yard, they would see that there was a jungle of weeds and huge plants, the grass at least a foot tall, shrubs and trees, and wildflowers. An old wooden fence surrounded it, falling apart at places, and there was a stone path leading to a opening. Inside one could barely see it, but there was an old stone well, and a fountain that was dry. And just beyond this, was a wide expanse of land, just as wild with overgrowth as the backyard, dark and dusky. A cemetery, with ancient head stones and stone buildings.

Eric was still nervous but he wasn't as scared, he pulled himself right behind Noctis as they went to the shelves for his book that he wanted. He only grabbed only one of them before heading up to the front of the store to purchase it. Eric got more antsy as they waited for him to ring up the book so they could get out of here, he practically was touching Noctis and he bounced lightly on his feet. Finally after what seemed like forever they were walking out of the store and as the light his his face he smiled softly sighing. "Thats better..." he said softly and looked at Noctis as they walked and took the bag from him looking into it.

"I really hate that place...but I felt okay with you there." He said softly and blushed looking away before he followed Noctis. He seemed to be fine the whole time except for when they walked down the alleys, when they took down these turns and they were dark, scary looking places he moved closer to Noctis. He felt safe with him, somewhat even more than he did with Kris, why? Probably because Noctis was confident in his abilities and when they went to the book store he didn't get scared like Kris did. And he knew he was a good match for him, therefore they would be safe.

Finally when they stood before a large abandoned building Eric looked up at it with a sense of wander. "Its beautiful...even though is broken down and ruined to most its still beautiful..." he said lightly reaching down and gently caressing a rose which was growing through a crack. "How strange..." He smiled lightly and stood back up next to Noctis. "Is your friend here? Seems like no one is answering you..." he said softly looking around them kind of nervous for this meet and was worried if Noctis's friend would even like him or not.

"Just wait..." Noctis murmurs to Eric, looking up at a window that was positioned on the second floor, right over them. In a split second what seemed to be like a blur of white could be seen. One moment it was there, and the next moment; a blink of an eye later, it was gone. Seeing that small bit of movement made a smile grow on Noctis' lips, he was sure that Specter was there. "Specter? I brought a friend. It's alright, you can come out..." After a moment or two, the front door, which was to the left of where they were standing, slowly opens.

"Noctis?" A voice calls out, quiet, careful, calculating, and slightly frightened. "Yes, it's me. You're safe." A pause, then the door opens more. Fingers could be seen clutching to the door, pale white, with no color pigment at all. A pair of startling blue eyes, similar to that of a huskie's, could be seen peering out at them from behind pure white hair, set on a white face just as pale as the hair that framed it. After another few seconds, they came out entirely, revealing a completely white figure, as if someone had erased every color from their body and left only the blue eyes. They were wearing a white simple gown, but it was hard to tell whether or not if this person was male or female. Small and thin, and barely at 5 feet tall, it looked as if they were very young.

"Hello Specter." Noctis says, smiling at them. "Hello...Noctis..." Specter steps forward, and after a moment's hesitation and a glance to Eric, Specter comes closer, going right up to Noctis and hugging him. "Eric, this is Specter, Specter, this is Eric." Specter looks over at Eric with big eyes, it would feel as if the small person was looking into Eric's soul. A minute or so passes, and Specter smiles. "Hello Eric." He then suddenly goes over to Eric and hugs him. To the human, Specter would feel cold, so cold as if he had just come out of a freezer the cold seeping off of him. "It is nice to meet you. I am Specter...would you like to come inside?"

Eric laughed softly as he was silenced by Noctis, he watched as the smile lifted on his friends face and he turned his attention to the door. Eric did the same, Noctis seemed to believe that someone was going to be right there. He heard a small voice, almost sounding frightened and scared of them and his heart fell. He hated making people feel that way about him, but he kind of understood why he was scared when he opened the door and showed himself to them. He was a small frail being with huge blue eyes that seemed to be windows as this person gazed at Eric.

Eric smiled softly as he noticed the white figure in the door and he watched as he walked up to Noctis and hugged him, his smile faltered and he stopped a moment. His chest tightened and he looked away from the two his ears red, why was he feeling....jealous? He assumed it was because he couldn't be that close to Noctis, the male never seemed to want to be close to him so he never touched him. And he hasn't not once since they have been with one another.

He blushed and paused as he felt arms around his own waist and a sudden freezing mass, he blinked down and noticed a small white head of hair against his chest. "N-nice to meet you too..." he said softly hugging him briefly before letting him go. "Yes thank you I would love to.." he smiled brightly and he looked up at Noctis and then back to Specter hugging his waist trying to warm himself back up after hugging the young figure. He thought his eyes were beautiful, and the white hair and skin made them pop even more than they normally would on a normal human being. He was perplexed though, feeling the cold skin of the boys, it was almost as if he was dead. This bothered Eric but he didn't let the smile falter from his face, however it did bother him and he was trying his hardest to understand it. He hoped Noctis would enlighten him at one point as to what Specter was and to what relationship they had...Eric kind of hoped it wasn't a physical one.

Noctis smiled as Eric received a hug from Specter, before accepting the invitation to come into the house they were standing in front of. A sudden excited look blooms upon the figure of white's face, blue eyes shimmering with happiness, and takes Eric's hand, leading him to the front door. Noctis followed behind as they step into the house, his eyes glowing just slightly in the dim light of the house. A antique old smell reached their noses, but it wasn't a bad smell. It was that of dried flowers, old coffee beans, dirt, and the faint scent of smoke.

"Come, come!" Specter says happily, leading the way through the dim house. It was just as worn down on the inside as it was on the outside. The walls were splintered and the wooden floor dusty, with some places being open holes that led no doubt to the basement below. A rather unsafe looking set of stairs led upstairs, though halfway up darkness consumed them, making it seem as if they had simply disappeared. Pictures were broken and hung helter skelter on nails, dust and cobwebs were everywhere. In the room where Specter led them were old chairs, the fabric having holes and such on them, a rug tattered and torn lay on the floor. Everywhere were broken porcelain items, and a large cabinet was leaning haphazardly against the wall. A old piano sat in the corner, it's lid open, revealing dirty, chipped, and broken ivory and black keys. The sunlight that streamed through the large broken window filtered through the dirt particles that floated in the air, making them look almost like pixie dust. Moth chewed curtains framed the window, and broken pots of dead flowers sat in the sill. One would notice that there were lots of burned places, and what looked like smoke spots on the ceiling. Speaking of which, there were holes that led to the second floor, which could be seen from below on the first. All in all, the house looked as if it were ancient, having been left there to just rot away, alone, abandoned.

Specter nudges Eric towards one of the chairs, after which shoving Noctis playfully so he sat quickly on the old couch, sending up a cloud of dust from the cushions. Some gets into Noctis' nose, making him sneeze loudly. "I will be right back, okay?" Leaving them in the room, Noctis looks over at Eric. A smile was on his face. "So? What do you think? I know it might seem a bit...strange...but Specter is a good...erm...person..."

As he asks this, a quiet sound could be heard, much like the mewing of a cat. Noctis looks around, and sure enough, coming around the corner, was a cat...or what looked like one, though it was quite...odd looking. It had large long ears, and pure white fur, that looked as if it were made out of the clouds turned solid. And instead of only one tail, it had three, the fur on the tails even longer than that on it's body. The most unique part about it was it's eyes, a deep sapphire blue. "Ah, hello Silver..." The cat looks at Noctis and meows, before jumping up into his lap, before laying down, and purring.

Eric was shocked to feel the chill of Specter’s hand in his own, he looked down at them and smiled before he was pulled into the home which stood before them, if you could even call it that. The smell hit him instantly and his nose wrinkled up in slight distaste for the smell, it was something he didn’t smell often, nothing bad just was caught off guard by the musty, old smell which followed his entrance into the home. He looked back at Noctis and smiled lightly noticing his eyes dimly lighting up the air in front of them.

He turned his gaze back to in front of him, not letting the home go by without a passing glance. His eyes followed the cracks in the walls wondering how they got there, simply trying to understand how this huge house went to ruin. They walked around holes in the ground almost impending their death if they were to drop down into one. Eric couldn’t tell the figures in the pictures which were placed haphazardly around the home and hung dangerously close to falling. But he strained his eyes trying to make out the figures in them, wondering if Specter possibly had a family at one time. They ventured up a broken set of stairs, Eric’s grip on the hand attached to his own tightened as he nervously made his way up each creaking beam.

Of course they made it and Specter walked them to a room, which was slightly boring, and plain but it was the homiest feeling in the entire home. Eric laughs softly and sits in a chair, which was offered to him and he sighs covering his face with his hands a moment before looking at Noctis. “I think they are adorable.” He said and shook his head. “I haven’t really had the chance to talk….but you know I like them already without even really talking to them.” He said with a cute smile to Noctis. Eric watched silently as a white cat like animal strode into the room mewling for Noctis it seemed, then jumping into his lap and lying down. He smiled looked away from the pair his mind wandering.

He wanted to ask Noctis what type of relationship Specter and he had with one another but he felt that he wouldn’t tell him. Eric was confused with himself; he was acting like he was into Noctis, getting jealous over something so little as this and he had a boyfriend no less! Though…Noctis did pay more attention to him, and actually smiled when he was with him. Eric looked at Noctis then sighed, why couldn’t he just have both of them. Wouldn’t that make everything so much simpler? Then again he knew Noctis had zero feelings for him and he knew that he would probably never have any toward him so he groaned outwardly and covered his face again.

A satisfied smile forms on Noctis' face as he listened to Eric, glad that the human liked Specter. The being was an odd one, yes, but for some reason that being always seemed to be able to get anyone to like them, without even trying. There was just something about Specter that made one want to like them. Sweet, kind, gentle and cute, Specter was adorable, and it seemed that Eric had fallen for the white one's charm, like Noctis had the first time he'd met them. "Well, I'm glad you like Specter. I can tell that Specter likes you. Very rarely does Specter open up to a human. But, they could tell that you were different, not like other humans. Special. I'd have to agree with Specter on that one as well. You definitely are special."

Looking away a mere moment, then hearing Eric sigh, Noctis looks over at him, wondering what was wrong. "Hey, is something up?" His brows press together at that moment, eyes narrowing. He was feeling a lot of jealousy coming from the human; jealousy, disappointment, and confusion. Just what was going on with Eric now? "Um, is there something you need to tell me? I'll listen..." He runs his hand lightly down Silver's back, who purrs quietly, eyes closed with content.

Specter, at that moment, returns from wherever they had gone, holding a dusty silver tray, with old porcelain tea cups on saucers, both of which were chipped. However, they were clean. Setting the tray down on a small coffee table, Specter then pours out some tea into each cup from a very old looking teapot, which had a faded rose design, matching that of the cups and saucers. "I'm sorry if it tastes a little weird...It's the best I could find in the cupboards in the kitchen. Taking a look at the tray, there was only two tea cups. Noctis picks up one, leaving the other for Eric. "Here's some sugar if you need it..." Specter pulls the lid off of a little tin, and places a small spoon in it. Glancing at the cat in Noctis' lap, Specter smiles. "I see Silver found out we have guests...Nosey..."

Eric stopped a moment and his blood ran cold. Special? Was he really that special? His eyes looked down and he sighed softly hiding his eyes behind his hair covering the blush which had graced his cheeks. "Thanks I think?" He said softly looking back at Noctis before sighing again.

He sat up straighter and he shook his head at Noctis's question and he smiled, however he wasn't able to answer him for Specter walked in and Eric just let it go hiding his emotions once again to keep Noctis from knowing what he was thinking. He really never wanted him to figure it out, that he was feeling this toward him. He would probably think he was selfish, whorish maybe, and even just plain disgusting for liking both he and Kris.

"No no don't worry about it I really don't mind the taste. I appreciate the offer." He said and smiled softly picking up the cup of his own taking a drink of it and he nodded to himself just saying it was fine. He leaned back in his chair and he sighed softly a smile on his lips as he took in a breathe of tea. He loved the smell, it calmed him down and made him feel calm and relaxed rather than stressed and worried. He simply enjoyed he taste, sure it wasn't the best but it tasted better than his own spit so he didn't mind it.

"Oh, well...alright then." Specter replies, glad that Eric enjoyed the tea that was made for him. Sitting down on the couch next to Noctis, Specter looks to Eric then to Noctis, speaking up then. "By the way, why did you come by? You don't visit that often anymore...I'd thought you'd forgotten about me..." Specter had a sad look in their eyes, a small frown on pale pink lips. Noctis smiles at the white figure who had curled up next to him. "I am sorry for not coming over as much as I had before. The reason why I came by was I decided that Eric and I needed a change of pace. And I missed you too, and thought that Eric could use another friend besides just myself."

Silver was purring as Specter listened to what was said, before looking over at Eric. "You are here for that? Oh, that is nice. I would love to be your friend...if you'd let me...by the way..." Pausing, Specter glances between Noctis and Eric, before fixing his gaze on the male sitting across from them. "You are human...aren't you?" Tilting their head sideways, Specter looks hard at Eric, as if trying to figure out the answer that way.

The white cat suddenly gets up, and jumps down from Noctis' lap, going over to where Eric was sitting, and seconds later, from behind, a pair of pale arms wrap around Eric's shoulders. Almost just as pale as Specter's. A pair of lips go towards Eric's ear. The touch of those arms were as cold as when Specter had hugged Eric earlier. "He's human...I can tell...He smells different." Noctis narrows his eyes, raising an eyebrow at the person who was standing behind Eric. "What do you think you're doing?"

If Eric turned around, he would see a rather pale person, with red eyes and white hair. Naked from top half to waist, it was obvious this being was male. "What are you doing Silver? Leave Eric alone. He's not for you." Specter speaks up, but 'Silver' so it seemed to be, does not move, his arms still around the human's shoulders. "Maybe...but he smells nice."

Eric listened silently to the talking between Noctis and Specter. Again that hint of jealousy picking up as he watched the small figure, who could easily be him, curled up against Noctis. He looked away, slightly unable to watched the group together. Confusion again filled him and he shook his head, slightly but lowly so no one could see it. He sipped his coffee slowly listening to the conversation about why they were here and what they were doing there.

Eric coughs lightly in his tea and he sets it down on the table laughing softly, "Am I human? I'm pretty sure I am. Human parents are human so I must be!" he said with a chuckle. He was shocked to have someone ask him that question, did he really seem that special? He watched the cat like figure leave the lap of Noctis and he smiled softly not thinking anything of it. He was about to say something more but was stopped by the cold chill on his shoulders. A shiver ran up his spine and he closed his eyes in almost need for warmth as he felt someones lips on his ear, one of his sensitive spots. He blushed darkly and he looked away, "Thank you I think...?" he said lightly to the mention he smelled nice.

He shivered again the chill getting to him, his brain finally caught up with what Specter had said, "Wait? Silver as in the cat like thing?" he asked and looked up seeing the under chin of Sliver laughing softly, "Hm...imagine that." he said and looked back at Noctis shaking his head. "I swear, everything I think cant be real is real." he laughed at himself and leaned into the arms around his shoulders. If he was going to have someone attached to him he might as well embrace the feeling. Eric really didn't know what was going on, why everyone seemed to think he was something other than a human. Kris hadn't changed him, he had told him that himself. So he was more than human right now, the mention of him not being one sort of frightened him.

Silver laughs softly, his arms not moving from their spot wrapped around Eric. "Why yes. The very same Silver...In fact, we, I mean Specter, myself, and the others in this house, all have a 'human' appearance, and an animal form as well...I, as you saw, am a three tailed cat..." He felt as the human relaxed, moving deeper into his embrace, a smirk forming on his lips, which appeared quite satisfied upon his face. "As for things being real, there is so much more to the other side of the coin than you think. There is the normal, plain and boring world of the humans, and on the flip side is the darker, more dangerous world that few actually come in to contact with and live to tell the tale." He nuzzles against the side of Eric's neck, much like a kitten would when it felt like cuddling. In fact, as Silver spoke next, along side his voice a soft purring could be heard.

"But, you seem quite likable...so I doubt any of us from the unknown side will do out with you...In fact...I like you...a lot..." All the while Silver was speaking, Noctis and Specter were watching, Noctis had his eyes narrowed. After hearing this statement he speaks up, his voice harsh and stern sounding. "Silver, you need to back off. Don't think you can get all cozy with Eric." Silver then interrupts. "Ah, so you're name is Eric? Very nice..." "Seriously Silver?!" Noctis says, frustration obvious in his voice.

Silver then looks to the ghoul, amusement on his face. "What? It's not like YOU'RE making any moves to get closer to him, so why shouldn't I? Are you jealous?" A smirk was on his lips, and mischief glinting and shining in his eyes. A faint pink blush formed on Noctis' cheeks, and he averts his eyes. "Of course not." Silver then shrugs. "Well then, if that's the case, you back off..." Specter sighs softly, shaking their head. "Silver, please do not start arguments in the house." Silver looks straight at Specter, not saying anything at first, then speaking up, disdain in his voice. "Alright."

Eric blushes lightly and he leans his face slightly away allowing room for the creatures face to go into his neck. Eric laughed softly and he looked down, "Well considering I have a few friends like you guys on this side, its hard to think I'm just a normal human being." he said and blushed darker as he heard the next comment from Silver. He thought it was cute that he was having this little white haired creature cuddle up to him like the kitten he was, and he could hear a purr in his voice. Eric was so intent on listening to Silver that he really didn't notice Noctis or Specter staring at them. But he did hear what Noctis had to say and the comment made him look up.

Nocits seemed to be...frustrated? and Jealous? that this young creature was hanging all over Eric and that made the boy smile slightly with a blush on his cheeks. For some reason he felt that Noctis was really jealous for him and he really had some form of feelings for him that was causing him to say was he was saying. Silver however answered with the comment that Noctis wasn't making any moves and this caused Eric to blush. His cheeks were fiery and he looked away from everyone his heart seeming to beat in his ears.

He caught the soft glimpse of a blush on Noctis' cheeks and he smiled softly hiding it with his hand and he laughed softly, "Its alright, I don't mind him being so close. I really don't. I don't have anyone really hang on me ever so its a good change." he said smiling softly to Specter. "Long as it doesn't cause any fights between anyone I dont see why it would be a problem for him to hug me? I thought we came here to make friends..?" he asked looking at Noctis smiling reassuringly. Eric's sights weren't on Silver anyway, sure the boy was cute but he really liked Noctis, and he wanted to get closer to him.

A soft sigh escaped from between Noctis' lips, shrugging at the last second. "You're right, I did bring you here to make friends." He could here exactly what was going on in the human's mind, and he didn't have have the guts to tell him that the only reason why he'd said was not out of jealousy, but because Silver was what one might call a "player", someone who goes from one person to the next without a second thought, without a wonder on how he might be making the person he was leaving feel.

He did think Eric was nice, yes, but...he wasn't the type of person to go after the significant other of a friend. And since Kristopher was his friend, it would just be stupid of him to even think about even attempting to seduce or even flirt with Eric. However, hearing those thoughts, feeling those sensations coming from the human, made him think that Eric wasn't the same in those particular virtues. Did the human harbor feelings for him? A ghoul? If so, he'd have to nip those emotions in the bud, before they grew too deep, or else disaster would follow... Sighing softly, his eyes look to his side, where Specter was curled, their head in his lap. If he, Noctis, had to say he had feelings for anyone...could he admit that? Gently, he places his hand on Specter's head, his fingers running through the soft, silken threads of silvery white.

Silver smirks at that moment, hugging the human closer. He'd won this round, and he knew that Noctis knew that fact as well. Warmth was beginning to seep into the cold of his limbs, his eyes twinkling with a bit more than friendship in mind. But...he knew better. No, he'd take his time. However, Silver would have to be careful that the others did not get to Eric first...he knew how they were... "Have you met Spirit, Soul and Seishin yet?"
