Listening to what he was told, he smiles a tiny bit. "Thank you." He was surprised however when Eric told him that he thought both colors of eyes he wore were beautiful, both the crimson red, and the oceanic blue. A over, very faint blush had formed on his cheeks, as no one had ever called his eyes beautiful before, especially the red. Reaching up, he covers one of his eyes, the smile growing a bit more at what Eric said next, noticing the wink he'd been given at the end of the statement.

"I never expect that. In fact, I'd be quite sad if you left me." With a chuckle, he then takes a breath. He'd never done this for anyone before, so...he hoped Eric would like it. "About the eyes...I can...always compromise... " Pulling his hand down, he opens his one eye to reveal the red again, so now it was like before. One eyes crimson, the other was blue. He holds his breath, waiting to see what Eric's reaction would be, wondering what he would say. Half of him cringed at the thought that Eric might tell him he didn't like it, but the other half truly hoped Eric did like the dual colors.

He didn't ever admit it, but red and blue were not the only color he could change his eyes to. Kristopher decided he'd only tell that much if he as asked about it. After a moment longer or so, he speaks up again. "By the way, I just thought of something Eric. We will be going to class tomorrow right?" Kristopher wanted to go, for some reason he felt going tomorrow was crucial, and very important, why that was, he had no clue. It was just a gut feeling.

Eric tilted his head and smiled lightly the cute little grin on Kris's handsome features making his smile grow more. He didnt mention anything about the blush either that colored his crushes cheeks however he did notice the hand over his other eye. He arched his eyebrows slightly confused as to why he was doing it however he was puzzled, "What are you..-" he was cut off by the hand moving away and the beautiful crimson red and beautiful blue both taking up a spot in Kris's eyes. Eric said nothing at first instead he just looked into his eyes. Finally a smile crept onto his face and he looked Kris over, "Hm...how unique..I like it. Although you shouldn't change them just for me you know." he said softly his hand brushing away Kris's hair.

He did love the separate colors and he couldn't stop looking at them, "Oh, as for school yes we will have to go back tomorrow." he sighed and looked up at the ceiling his head on the headboard. "I'm not so excited about it, and you are hurt so I don't think getting up and doing anything tomorrow is a good idea. We did skip school today." he chuckled softly and looked back down at Kris his eyes being captivated by that of the mismatched colors of Kris's. "Will you change them tomorrow..when we go to school will I lose the red one?" he asked his eyes going to kris's lips then back to his eyes again. Eric felt strong, like he was the one that was strong now and that he was holding Kris up and he enjoyed it, the fact he was protecting him.

Letting out a sigh if relief, Kristopher was glad that Eric liked his eyes, and it showed in a big smile on his lips. At the comment about how he didn't need to change them just for Eric, he shrugs. He had wanted to do so for a while now, and Eric had been the little nudge for him to take the initiative and do so. Then he goes on to reply to what was said about school. "I'll be fine. It doesn't even really hurt anymore. And I won't change them back if you don't want me to. I'll keep them like this. Because I kind of really like the way you look at me when they are colored like this." He smiles, having noticed the shift in Eric's eyes, moving from his own eyes, to his lips, then back up again.

He leans forward, and lightly brushes his lips against Eric's, knowing that's what the other wanted. Pulling back a fraction of an inch, he smiles again. "If we don't want to miss school, I think it would be best if we went to sleep now..." With those words, he kisses Eric again, letting it linger this time, making it soft and sweet. After, he moves so he was laying down. "Good night..." Closing his eyes, he soon falls asleep. The other might not have noticed, but as they'd been talking, black pajama pants had appeared upon his body, and the moment he laid down, a matching black button up, long sleeved top appears as well.

Eric smiled softly and tilted his head, "Well I do like them very much, however I don't think I look at you any different." he chuckled softly before he looked back at Kris. He blushed darkly the others lips touching his and he kissed him back softly pulling away and groaning softly at the others words. "Fine fine...sleep tight." he said and kissed kris back his lips eagerly tasting him, he was surprised of the metallic taste that came off and he sighed. "Good night...Kris.." he said softly before laying down moving closer to the other for warmth.

He noticed that Kris had changed but he didnt remember when he had, he laid there sighing softly as his eyes stayed open. He wasn't tired, he was worried about Kris and he didnt know how long he would have to stay up do to the events that had happened earlier that day. He yawned finally about an hour after Kris had asked them to sleep and he rolled over moving close to Kris his arms going around the other male and he groaned finally closing his eyes and slowly falling asleep.

The next morning Kristopher woke up early, and Eric was still asleep. Crawling off the bed, he gets dressed, though not in the conventional way. The pajamas disappear, and in their place a black semi formfitting short sleeved shirt, a pair of black skinny jeans, and a dark gray black zip up hooded sweater appears on his body, formed by what appeared to be tendrils of shadows moving along him. Once he was finished, he finger combs his hair, before leaving the room, careful not to wake Eric.

Finding the kitchen, he makes breakfast, which was eggs, fried ham slices with cheese, and fruit cocktail, with a glass of milk. Once ready, he places it on the table, before going to wake up Eric. Walking over to him, Kristopher leans down and kisses the sleeping human. "Hey, wake up. I made breakfast." Crossing the room, he pulls out some clothes for Eric to wear, tossing them on the bed. School was to start in thirty minutes. Going to Eric's side again, he reaches down and ruffles Eric's hair, running his fingers through it. "Good morning, sleepy. I'm going to be in the kitchen. Get dressed and meet me there. After we eat, I'm driving us to school. It's raining by the way, so don't forget a jacket."

With that, he heads back to the kitchen, and eats his own food, which, since after consuming all that blood the other night, tasted half way decent. Taking a bite of eggs, he looks at the newspaper he'd picked up and nearly chokes after seeing the front page headline. 'DANGEROUS ANIMAL ON THE LOOSE! ARE WE NO LONGER SAFE? SIGNS POINT TO NO, 13 VICTIMS AND COUNTING.' Quickly he pulls the front page off, and crumples it up as he hears a noise, and with precise aim, tosses it into the trashcan. Sighing, he begins to eat again, acting as if nothing was wrong, his red and blue eyes reading the second page of the paper.

Eric was startled awake by the sweet feel of anthers lips on his. He blinked awake and he looked up seeing Kris and he laughed softly. He then set up as Kris moved over to his closet pulling out clothes and setting them out for him and he rubbed his eyes, "You didnt have to make me breakfast Kris.." he laughed softly and got out of bed after the lean fingers ran through his hair. He blinked a few more times getting the sleep out of them. He then walked to the clothing and pulled on the shirt that was set out for him do to the fact he hadn't slept with one on in the first place.

He watched Kris walk out of the room and he sighed running a hand through his hair before undressing the rest of the way and putting the jeans Kris had set out on. He leaned his head to the side and walked to his dresser, his mind wasn't awake yet, he seemed to have no real notion of what all was going on. He pulled on a pair of converse just plain black and white and laced them up before grabbing his phone and putting it in his back pocket. He paused a moment as this stupid thought ran into his mind, it felt as though him and Kris were living together, that one simple night they had spent together all night slept with one another and then woke up again with one another. He felt stupid for the thought but he couldn't help it, the thought made him blush slightly and a smile come onto his face.

That smile was still on his face when he walked into the kitchen seeing a beautiful male sitting down at the table eating and reading the newspaper like a sunday morning married couple. He sighed lightly and sat down next to Kris as he slowly started to eat however his stomach felt weird, he didnt want to eat really the food was making his stomach hurt because he wasn't hungry at all. However that was strange considering he hadn't eaten anything for dinner, he sighed again and leaned back in his chair blushing. "Thank you so much for making breakfast, and driving me to school..if you hadn't I would be walking my self to school or catching the bus." he laughed heartedly and looked over at Kris. His eyes instantly went to those of Kris's his heart picking up slightly. The beautiful colors that contrasted perfectly with one another captivated him and he had to blink several times and look away before he could fully pull his eyes from Kris's.

"No problem..." He smiles brightly, glad that Eric hadn't asked why the paper was missing the front page. After they were both ready, he leads the way to the car, which was still parked outside in front of Eric's house. Getting in, he waited for Eric before driving off, and heading to school. The ride there was quiet as they listened to some music, but it was nice, simply sharing one another's company like they were. Reaching the school, Kristopher parks in the student parking lot, turns the vehicle off, and gets out, grabbing his bag. Once he was sure Eric was out, he locks the car, and heads towards the brick building.

Once inside, voices bombard his ears. And all he could hear were conversations about the news and these strange attacks that have been happening. Glancing to Eric, he walks ahead, turning back for a moment. "See ya in class." With a wave, he heads to his locker, trying to ignore the people talking, the stares he received. Every now and then he waves back in greeting to a classmate, eventually reaching his locker, opening it, putting things away, and when he'd finished, heads to class. Sliding into his seat, he stares out the window, sighing at the gloomy weather the sky was showing him, his notebook, pencil and textbook on top of his desk.

Eric smiled softly as he was allowed into Kris's car, they took off shortly after a small window of time to get to school in time. When they got there the grounds were bustling with people. He got out of the car and pulled his bag over his shoulder glancing at Kris, he wanted to ask what had happened and why so many people were running around but he didnt get the chance. Before he knew it Kris was walking and Eric had to jog slightly to catch up with him. He opened the doors to the school and almost stopped in his tracks, everyone was talking about the attacks that had happened. He glanced at Kris his eyebrows moving together in confusion. He hadn't heard anything about any attacks at all, let alone recently, the last known one was the men in the alley.

Eric sighed softly and waved back to Kris as he was told he would see him later. He looked at the clock and sighed again his day was already starting out horribly. He walked to his locker and opened it putting his bag inside and grabbed his music room key and slid it around his neck. He then grabbed his books and notebooks and closed his locker, he heard a loud bang and he jumped but smiled instantly. Sean one of his only friends was standing next to him a smirky grin on his face. Eric tilted his head and smiled softly, "Finally decided to brave school again huh? Did you die or something? You were out for a whole week!" he hugged the other male and pulled away after he had hugged back. Sean shook his head and said he was simply sick and was doing better now.

Eric smiled and nodded before he started walking, Sean followed right behind him do to the fact they had almost every class together other than advanced art and such. Sean was into Drama so he spent his last hour of the day doing that instead of Art with Eric. They entered the room and Sean winked at Eric making him blush slightly as they separated walking to their desks. Eric sat right next to Kris and he smiled at him, "Hey! You kinda ran off this morning..are you gonna eat lunch with me today?" he smiled softly his fingers itching to touch the other male.

Sitting in his desk, they were at the class that Kristopher was looking forward to the most. Mythology Today. As he sat there, he looked up when Eric came over and sat in his desk, which was set right next to Kristopher's, and smiles a tiny smile. He hadn't noticed the wink Sean had given Eric, but even if he had, Kristopher wouldn't have minded. He knew that Eric wouldn't do anything stupid. Right? "Sorry about that, I um...don't like crowded hallways." Which was partway true, he really didn't like being surrounded on all sides with people, it got on his nerves. "Oh, and yeah, I'll eat lunch with you if you want me to."

The bell suddenly rings, and the teacher walks in, calling for silence and attention. After attendance was taken, the teacher begins his lecture of the day, which turned out to be quite boring in Kristopher's opinion. Despite the topic of discussion, which was of modern thoughts on mythological creatures, mainly werewolves, witches, demons, angels, and lastly, vampires. Kristopher doesn't even bother taking notes, as he knew all too well the things about these creatures, but instead begins doodling in notebook, finishing the picture from the first day he'd come to this school. It was of a rose in a skull with sharp teeth, and despite it's grotesque appearance, it was also quite beautiful and alluring, like a Victorian Gothic style drawing. Laced, but dark.

When class was coming to a close, the teacher assigns them a project, the project being to come up with a report about the mythological being they drew from a hat, the report could be anything they wished it to be, pretty much a file of sorts, giving out slips of paper and pairing them up, letting them choose their partners. He grins, but then when he pulls out the slip of paper he drew, the grin fades from his face. 'Vampire' was written in curling letters on the paper, and after a second he clears his throat. "S-so, um...yeah..." He mutters to no one in particular. Glancing at Eric, he smiles, sort of. "You...wanna partner up, or no? If you don't want to it's cool, I just don't wanna be stuck with one of those goobs." He casually points to the many giggling girls goggling at him, and stares at Eric, his eyes practically begging for him to say yes.

Eric laughed softly and shook his head at Kris, "Its alright, I figured as much." he didnt get to say anymore as the teacher walked into the room and he sighed softly. He was looking forward to this class however he didnt know how much bullshit she would be spouting and how much real talk she would be speaking. He tilted his head slightly listening as she began talking about ancient myths and legends of all types of supernatural creatures. It peaked his interest the small details about them all that seemed so familiar.

To his surprise they were going to have a project, to partner up with a classmate and write a paper on one of the creatures which they had to draw from the hat. He stayed sitting not really wanting to get up to bustle about with the other 20 kids that had gotten up to crowd at the small hat. He looked up at the sound of someone speaking to him and he smiled softly at Kris, "Yes I would love to be your partner. I know how hard it can be when you don't know anyone." he leaned over to Kris and peaked at the paper. "Vampires huh? Well...that should be an interesting topic!" he chuckled softly and stood grabbing his things and he looked up as he heard his name being called. Sean was waving at him and he smiled, "Sorry Sean Ive got a partner, this is a perfect chance for you to get with one of the girls you drool over." he laughed and waved the other male off as he ran over to the girls that were laughing and giggling on about Kris.

"So...seems you'll have to be spending some more time with me huh Kris? How about we start working on it today? Durning lunch?" he smiled softly and he heard the bell chime and he almost died of happiness. "Come on! Next hour we practically sit and take notes all hour, lets go to the music room." eh smiled brightly his whole face radiating as he loved to go there. He took Kris's arm a moment before letting go remembering he wasn't touchy-feely inside school walls.

Kristopher sighs in relief when Eric agrees to be his partner, and smiles gratefully at him. It meant a lot, he hadn't been looking forward to if Eric said no, and he was stuck trying to find someone who wasn't just going to drool on him the whole duration of the project. But the topic was nothing to be relieved about, as it wasn't something he was too excited for. Something he had hoped he wouldn't have to even think about, and yet here he was, stuck having to do a project about it. And even though he was happy that Eric was his partner, now that he thought about it, it probably hadn't been the best choice on his part.

"Haha, I don't mind. And sure, we can start on it during lunch. It's after next class right?" He stands up, picking up his things when the bell rang, signalling their dismissal from class. He was surprised when Eric mentions going to the music room instead of the class they were in next, but shrugs. "Sure." He hadn't missed the moment Eric took his arm, only to let go seconds later. Remembering that Kristopher didn't like being touched so intimately in the school. It made him slightly uncomfortable, especially with their classmates all around them. "Alright. Music room it is then." He smiles, and leads the way out of the class.

Heading down the hall, they head to the music room which was unlocked that day, and heads inside, setting his things down. Then, walking over to the piano, he lifts the lid of the keys, and grins over at Eric. "Remember how we first met? Officially I mean." Yeah, they might have met during class, but they'd officially gotten to know each other here, while Eric had been playing a song, and that was the moment Kristopher felt that odd attraction to the human. As if a bee drawn in by the sweetest flower. Sitting down on the bench, he moves his fingers over the keys, and glances at Eric, before playing. "Can...I keep you?" He murmurs.

Eric smiled lightly back at Kris when he agreed to go to the music room and he followed diligently after waving to Sean saying goodbye. He sighed softly running a hand through his hair he pushed against the music room door and smiled a cheeky grin, "Hm..seems they know we will be coming now." he laughed softly and entered the room holding the door open for Kris. He tilted his head and walked with Kris to the piano, "Of course I remember how we met.." he said softly a blush showing on his cheeks as he could replay the entire scene in his head front to back. He sat down next to Kris and smiled softly his heart beating fast as he was ready to hear the music Kris would play for him this time, to think of it Eric hadn't played for Kris in awhile however the other male didnt seem to care.

Eric tilted his head at the slight noise Kris made but he didnt understand him, instead he was instantly filled with the beautiful music coming from the piano, no from Kris. He closed his eyes and he smiled softly as he listened to the repeating rhythm over and over yet it always was different in a way. The song seemed..sad almost however it seemed filled with a longing for something happy that Kris didnt have. He looked at his hands watching them play and he stopped smiling and was mesmerized by the long fingers running across the white keys over and over again playing the sad rhythm of the song. However it was beautiful to Eric, and he loved it. He looked up at Kris as the ending came to and the music came to its conclusion and he blushed lightly. He didnt say anything until the last sound had left the room and even then he didnt say anything looking at Kris his eyes searching for the answer. He didnt want to ruin the beautiful silence, instead he just studied Kris, his lips begging for his own but he knew it wouldn't happen, he had to wait.

The last note fades away, and for a moment Kristopher remains as he was, eyes partly closed, his fingers resting gently on the keys, a look of a fading dream of longing upon his face. Then, he lowers his arms, so his hands were in his lap, folding together, and his gaze turns to Eric. The mood in the room had somehow changed the moment he had played that song, something was different. Not only environmentally wise, but between them as individuals, between himself and Eric. His gaze penetrates Eric's, their gaze not shifting from one another, and he could tell, he could feel the longing coming from the other male.

Without saying anything, the silence deep, he leans over, and gently places his lips against Eric's, brushing softly against the lips that craved his own. Yes, he could tell that Eric wanted for him, and deep inside of himself, Kristopher desperately wished to have Eric, but right now...that wasn't an option. He fought the urges he held within his soul, in his heart. For now, he would make do with the way things were, but eventually, Kristopher knew that wouldn't be good enough. And when that happened, would Eric still be there? Still want for him, still long for him? Once he figured things out, once he was told what his secrets were?

Pulling back just a fraction, his breath warm on Eric's lips, his eyes still connected to Eric's, he leans in more, his hand reaching up to rest behind Eric's neck, fingers touching the other's hair for a few mere seconds. Touching the skin beneath his own, it was so...warm. Inviting. Tempting. But he had to restrain himself. Leaning in again, he kisses Eric once more, just as gently, but somehow, this kind of kiss was more invigorating than even his most passionate ones. Gentle, soft, making one want more, to feel his lips forever. And that's what he'd meant...he had said those words earlier on a whim...but now that he thought about it...Kristopher meant it.

Eric watched as Kris sat his hands in his lap his breathing gentle and calm. The pure look of longing and want on Kristopher's face made him almost want to cry, Eric didnt know what he was longing so much to have or what he wanted but he knew that whatever it was Kris didnt have it. Eric looked down a moment before his eyes were drawn to Kris do to him moving slightly and looking at him. They locked gazes instantly and Eric blushed lightly, he felt so weird liking someone this much wasn't something Eric usually did. Usually he was the one liked by others and he had to deal with them fawning over him.

His breathing hitched in his throat slightly as Kris moved to him his lips grazing Eric's making his eyes flutter slightly but it was gone just as soon as that. He looked at Kris and his breathing was shaky almost nervous like the first time they had met. He felt the hands move into his hair and behind his neck and he closed his eyes at the feeling, of safe hands on him allowing him to know he was safe from harm. He felt the lips n his own like an old friend, his own lips moved slightly as he leaned into kris some his hand moving to Kris's in his hair and holding it a moment. The kiss was, different than any other time they had shared a kiss with one another. There was a different feel to it and it made Eric not want to let go, Kris's lips were captivating and he didnt care that he was caught on them.

He pulled back some and looked up at Kris his lips still touching the others slightly as their breathing mingled with one another. He was confused, he didnt understand. He knew that he was waiting for Kris but it seemed Kris wanted to kiss him wanted to love on him. And Eric was completely fine with that but he had prepared himself to be completely shunned as he was the day they went out for a movie and the library. He had prepared himself to be pushed away so he hadn't tried to, "Kris...I...I think we should maybe start working on our project?" he said pulling away from the other male his hands uneasy and so was his breathing. He stood and laughed softly, "We took all of second period already so lets get to work. I'm actually kind of interested in the topic we have.." He said going to his bag and started digging out a notebook. Really he just wanted to give Kris room, like he had asked for in the first place, he knew that Kris had started the kiss but he knew better than to push were it was going and get pushed away by Kris.

Pulling back, Kristopher looks away quickly, a blank expression forming on his face as he hears Eric's words, though internally he was screaming, his gut clenched, and he felt as if his heart had withered like a rose with no nutrients, petals drifting away in the wind like blood dripping to the floor. His hands had returned to his lap, and his gaze lowered to them, refusing to look up now, his eyes filled with an unreadable emotion. He felt like he'd done something wrong. Yes, he may have pushed Eric away those few times, but...that was for Eric's own protection. To protect himself from ending up in worse heartbreak than he'd ever felt before in his life.

"Sure. Let's get started then." Voice unemotional, not the tiniest bit of evidence could be heard of what he felt at that moment, he just nods, and reaches for his own notebook, as well as the text book, and a pencil. He heard Eric's laugh, and immediately knew it was fake. The other was nervous as well, and he could feel it, but does nothing to help calm that uneasiness. "I could care less about the topic we got...in fact, it's my least favorite of them all." Sighing a nonchalant way, and turned the text book to the section about vampires, scanning over the glossy pages, seeing the rather primitive and gory pictures that depicted his race, making him want to fling the book across the room at how terribly inaccurate it was. The only thing they happened to get right was the way they made the vampire look like a killer, blood everywhere, and the faces of their victims showed the fear his kind governed quite well.

"So...got any idea of what exactly you want to base the essay on? History? Influence? Maybe about the vampire itself and what it is like? You know, like a personal record, how someone might fill out a data sheet about themselves? Though there...really is not that much information here to do that..." He adds this as an afterthought, more to himself than to Eric, mumbling it under his breath, but loud enough for Eric to hear him. Holding the pencil in his hand, he had his notebook open to a blank page, and tapped the tip of his writing utensil against the paper, before looking up at Eric, an eyebrow raised. "For now it's just ideas and rough sketches, the essay isn't due til next week."

Eric's smile faded and he sighed sitting down his back against the wall and he pulled his own text book close to him reading over the pages, "This...sounds like a load of bullshit." he said and stood stretching. "There has to be some form of accurate information on them..not simply they drank blood and lived in castles." He said frustrated. "I knew she spouted shit but that book is full of straight in your face lies. I bet you Vampires can walk on holy ground or whatever...and i bet you they are the loneliest creatures in this world...having to live past everyone they ever cared about watching them die right before them for centuries.." he said and blinked shaking his head. He pulled out his phone and he looked it up and his eyes scanned over a document.

"Kris...get a load of this, I found this article talking about this thing called a "Marked one," it says that a vampire picks a mate. But not just any mate but one that must be able to fulfill its hunger without perishing.." he said after several minutes of them not talking he stood and went to Kris and showed him the document. "It says that each possible mate whom can feed their lover correctly as a mark on them...almost like a tattoo but in their skin and you don't see it until they have been marked by a vampire to take them as their mate." he said interested in it. "Thats insane..." he said laughing softly and looking over at Kris. "I say we do the report on vampires themselves...give the class a little more credible information than that load of bull in the corner." he laughed and motioned to his textbook.

He looked at the mark that was considered to show the vampires that that human was able to feed it properly and love it for whom it was. The symbol looked like a sword of some sort hover the handle was round, where you could place your hand in it and wheld it that way. The symbols sometimes had vines around them and some were plan it depended on the human and what it was capable of. He couldn't stop looking at it the symbol somehow looked really familiar to him and he sighed softly shaking his head and rubbed his eyes a moment before looking some more.

Kristopher remained on the bench while Eric had moved to sit against the wall, and they both were in silence for some time when Eric speaks up. Kristopher glances over at him, hearing the words he said, and even though he didn't let it show, the things the other male guessed about how a vampire truly was...were near spot on. They could indeed walk on Holy Ground, they were lonely creatures, and for the most part, it was true, they had to watch those they loved or held a special place in their hearts wither away, fading to nothing, while they themselves remained, not changing, forever in the cold, darkness of eternal life. He looks away, hiding the flicker of emotion in his eyes, not wanting Eric to see. Yes, it had indeed been lonely. Terribly so... Kristopher had lost count of how many centuries had gone by, remaining the same...watching time fly by, watching as the world changed, but he never did.

His ears perk up when he hears that Eric had found something on his phone, and when he heard about it, he blinks in surprise. Even though he could tell the other was filled with doubt about what he was reading...that little tidbit of information was accurate. There was also more, and before he could even stop himself, he spoke up after Eric had shown him the picture, and suggested they do the report on vampires themselves. "Not only are the humans marked, but also, at times, the vampire themselves. Some vampires start as human, but eventually turn, retaining the mark and continuing to be the original vampire's blood bank so to say. But only pure blood vampires can change a human in that way. Or, it shows somewhere upon their body if they are born between a vampire and a changling, as they are called when a human becomes a vampire."

Falling silent, he can't believe he said what he did, and hoped that Eric would just take the words that had come out of his mouth as absent banter, and not think too much on it. His mind flickers to his mother, whom had a similar marking upon her left shoulder, barely visible most of the time when her hair covered it. Shifting in his seat, he reaches with one hand to tug at his shirt, to cover something upon his collar bone. It was barely visible, and looked like a birthmark, but there was something upon his skin he never really thought about...until now. "So...um, we'll write about the vampires themselves? So like...a information sheet?" He asks, trying to distract Eric from what he'd done, his hand moving elegantly across the page, writing in his Old English font of writing, the title across the top of the page: 'Mythology Today Project: About Vampires'

Eric was shocked to hear Kris seemed to already know this information, he paused a moment confused before he sat next to him, "So...you say some vampires are born that way, and others change when they are young? From humans to vampires?" he asked looking over at Kris seeing he was kind of playing with everything around him trying to keep himself busy. "How do you know so much about this Kris? I thought you said it was your least favorite subject?" he chuckled softly and bumped shoulders with the other male. "Anyway, so...how would a vampire be born of one? Just like a human baby of two vampire parents?" he asked slightly confused and looked over at Kris.

He was confused on how much Kris knew about this subject. He sighed lightly and rested his head on his hand looking over at Kris watching him write, the curly letters gracing the page his eyes following the pencil as it makes the intricate letters sprawl across the top of the page. "Ah yea like an information sheet kind of.." he said slightly his mind other places as he tilted his head reading more on the marked ones. Apparently the mark was concealed somewhere not even the human knows where it is located, usually the Vampire will be attracted to them and will find it on their own usually after they have confessed feelings for the human.

Absently Eric's fingers caressed the piano as his eyes scanned the papers he was reading on his phone, he wanted to play however he didnt think it was the time nor did he know what he would play. He looked over at Kris and he blushed lightly, knowing time would go by way too fast for them to finish even a small portion of this today. He didnt want to go back to class, he felt like they were in their own little world away from all the horrible people that laughed at him or flirted with him or hurt him even. He shivered lightly thinking about the rapists that were going to take advantage of him and then the bloody site after and he stopped his tapping on the piano lid his eyes not blinking for a moment as if the entire scene was being played out in front of him right then and there but no one could see it but him.

"What I'm saying is...vampires are born as vampires, and only pure bloods can change humans. And the humans change only when bitten by, like I said, a pure blood. It's got nothing to do with age." He glances towards Eric and then shrugs, sighing softly. "It might not be my favorite subject, but...I'm well versed in it, as it is something that dwells a lot in folklore where I come from." He tilts his head at the next question, smirking just a tiny bit now. "Yeah. Just like a human child, vampires are born through conception. Unless of course it's a changling. But that's a different story altogether. And it doesn't have to be two vampires, it could be a vampire and a human, making a half blood, or a vampire and some other species, maybe a demon, making a hybrid of a darker nature. Get the gist?"

Looking to the phone in Eric's hand, he stops writing, and reads what was on the lit screen as Eric scrolled through it, eyes narrowing. Most of the information was close to correct except... "That's wrong." He points out the bit about how the mark was concealed somewhere the human doesn't know the location of, the Vampire will be attracted to them and will find it on their own usually after they have confessed feelings for the human. Bullshit. "It's after they've been bitten. Even with that bite, it doesn't show on just anyone. It's for the one that Vampire feels strongly drawn to, attracted to in no other way any other human does." Clearing his throat, he quickly straightens, as he was leaning over Eric's shoulder at that point, his finger pointed almost accusingly at the false information.

His eyes glance to look at Eric's face, and saw from the expression, that Eric was reliving some memory. Sighing softly, he pokes the other male's forehead, snapping him from his reverie and pulling him back to reality and the music room they were currently sitting in. "Now's not the time for day dreaming Eric." He mutters, after writing a few more notes in his book, before flipping it closed and putting it away. The bell for lunch should be ringing soon, and even though he didn't really want to admit it out loud, he was looking forward to escaping the rather stifling air of that room, the tension between them quite frail and fragile, as if it were threatening to break at any moment now. "We'll talk more during lunch, okay?"

Eric listened intently and he tilted his head, "Yea..makes sense.." he said nodding lightly and he blinked in surprise of Kris touching his forehead. He laughed softly, "Sorry...gory photos remind me of some gory things." he stood and stretched out his body his muscles flexing and showing some. He sighed and relaxed again, "Kris...you know...I pulled away because thats what you want..." he said softly picking up his bag and his things. "Not because I didnt want you to kiss me...You told me to wait, and I am...but how do you expect me to do that when you kiss me?" he asked now at the door as he heard the bell for lunch chiming. He smiled sadly at Kris, "Trust me..if it was up to me that would have lasted way longer." he laughed sadly and waved.

"See you later I guess." he left the room and carried his stuff to his locked opening it easily and setting his books in there getting the things he needed for his next set of classes. He rested his head against his locker sighing and closing his eyes, he would have loved to keep kissing Kris forever if he wished to but thats not how it works. Kris pushed him away, how can he expect him to know what he wants? To stay away or kissing up on him? It seemed every day Kris wanted something different. He jumped when he felt a hand touch his shoulder and he practically screamed, he covered his mouth with his hand and turned around hitting Sean who had come up behind him.

"God you little fucker! You scared the shit out of me!" he sighed and let his hands drop seeing a grave face on his friends. "Whats wrong..?" he asked looking up at Sean. The height difference was nothing like that of him and Kris, sean was taller than him by a whole foot and towered over Eric. Sean looked around them and leaned close to Eric whispering in his ear, "Come with me..I need to talk to you." he said softly and Eric nodded lightly. He followed Sean after closing his locker and he looked back wanting to go the opposite way to where Kris was however it seemed Kris didnt want to be around him.

Sean took Eric to the park that was stationed in the middle of the school grounds. He smiled softly and walked down the low gardens before he paused, "What is it you wanted to talk about with me Sean? I actually should hurry back to-" he couldn't finish his sentence because Sean had leaned forward and kissed him.

Gazing after the other as they left, Kristopher shakes his head, trying to clear the thoughts from his mind. Now was not the time to think about that sort of thing. He'd have plenty of time to think it over later, after school, where things wouldn't be as distracting for him, and he would be able to think a bit more clearly. Taking a deep breath, he picks up his things, leaving the room about five minutes after Eric had left, not sure what to actually think of the situation between the two of them. What were they exactly? Sure, he had told the other he wanted space...but...

He shakes his head again, and walks to his locker, before heading down toward the lunchroom, deciding to take a quick detour, and head through the school courtyard beforehand. And after he had, Kristopher knew he wished he hadn't, especially after what he had witnessed. As he walked along, he pauses, hearing familiar voices, one belonging to Eric, the other belonging to Eric's friend, Sean. What were they up to? Kristopher thought that Eric was going to eat lunch with him...

Then, walking past a bush, he was greeted with a sight that stopped him cold in his tracks, freezing him like a blast of icy wind in December in the Ice Age. Sean, standing there, with is lips pressed against Eric's. Kristopher felt his heart, what was left of it, shatter into pieces. All he could do was stare, expression of shock, hurt, and betrayal. Feeling as if he was dying, over and over again, the image now forever burned into his mind.

After a moment, he speaks up. "So...you chose him, huh? Heh, I should have known. But you know what? It's fine. See if I fucking care. Or give a damn...See you later...or more like never, Eric. Good bye." His voice had a slight choked sound to it, and he turns away quickly to hide the tears that were now falling. This was probably the reason why Eric had kept pushing him away...why he hadn't given into the kisses that Kristopher had given, that would have normally left the human like putty in his hands.

Hurrying away, he rushes through the school, and heads out the front door, not caring what he was told, that school was not over yet. He had to get away. The one he thought that was special turned out to be just like the rest. Rushing to his car, he gets in, attempting to start the ignition, his hand shaking as he tried to put the key in to get the vehicle running, tears now pouring down his face like the rain. After a moment he gives up, slamming his fists against the wheel, making the horn blast loudly, and leans his head against it, sound falling silent. "Why...why does it always end this way?!"

Eric's eyes were wide open and his hands went up to Sean's chest and pushed him, hard away from him. "What the hell are you doing!" he yelled at him but he didnt have time to say anything else because he heard a familiar voice rise up from the side of where they were standing. He looked over and saw Kris, however his voice and his stature looked broken nothing like the man Eric had fallen in love with. As the words piled out of his mouth Eric shook his head faster and faster his own tears coming to his eyes, "No! Kris wait!" he screamed after him and turned back to Sean, "What have you done! Gah! You fucking idiot! You knew I was with him! I told you I was with him!" he shook his head willing to deal with Sean later.

He was about a minute and a half or two from Kris and he followed him through the school he saw the car and almost felt like he couldn't stop him until the car didnt even move. He ran over to the passengers side and opened the door he sat down and looked up at Kris, "ITs not what it looked like Kris! I swear! He and I were never anything like that! Just let me explain what had happened please before you just assume I was with him!" he said not touching the other male just looking at him tears threatening to run down his cheeks.

The sight before him was something he had only seen once, and Kris was covered in blood that time. Tears welled up in his own eyes and he lowered his head, "Kris he...he was telling me he loved me and he kissed me out of confession, if you had stayed long enough you would have seen I pushed him away...I didnt kiss him back I was shocked just as much as you are.." he said his hands begging to hold the other male but instead he looked anywhere but him until he needed to say what he really needed to, "You should know Kris, I love you. I never had any feelings for Sean and if you can't believe me...then I guess me trying to tell you other wise is in vein...but I did not choose him he was trying to choose me. I chose you the minute I met you.." he said softly to where Kris could barely hear it. He sighed and looked away waiting for the other male to say something, anything to break the silence.

Forehead resting against the wheel, shoulders slumped in defeat, Kristopher was starting to feel as if things were never going to get any better. That sight, Eric's lips against someone else's besides his own, made him tremble with an uncontrollable anger, something he had not felt since the night that the human had almost gotten himself raped. His hand attempts to place the key within the car again, not trembling quite as badly, but fails yet again when he was surprised by the passenger door opening. Jumping slightly, the key falls from his fingers, and he looks over quickly, his eyes widening slightly when he saw who had opened the door, and sat in the seat.

Looking away, he stares straight ahead, not looking at Eric, his sight focused on the dashboard, fingers now gripping tightly to the steering wheel, a hardened expression on his face. Even though it seemed as if he were not paying attention, or did not care, Kristopher was hanging on to every word that was being said, soaking them up like a dried out sponge in desperate need of water. As Eric's voice fell on his ears, his anger slowly subsides, closing behind the door of his heart to slumber once again. It had all been a misunderstanding. A mistake. The icy cold in his eyes melt, and he loosens his grip upon the wheel, until his hands fall gently in his lap. Even though the last thing Eric had said was quieter than a pin dropping, Kristopher heard it just as easily as if the words had been spoken in a normal volume.

For a moment, after the other had fallen silent, nothing was said, all that could be heard was a bunch of birds chirping in a tree that was set near the parking lot. Taking a deep breath, he sighs, slowly letting the air escape his lungs. Then, he speaks, his voice soft. "I...I'm sorry, it's just...seeing him and you...it set something in me off that I...cannot explain. I'm so confused. I say I want space, I can't have you near, and yet, whenever I see you even talking to someone else I get this urge to pull you away from them, to keep you to myself, despite having told you seconds earlier not to touch me, to keep the distance." He turns to look at the other, noticing that Eric was not looking at him. Reaching out, he grasps the human's chin, and gently turns Eric's head so he was looking at him. "I'm deeply sorry. I never meant to upset you. It's...my fault. I'm just so confused. But...now that I think about it, I shouldn't be. I wish to be with you...I don't have to think about it anymore." Leaning over, he was about to kiss Eric before he pauses, wanting to replace the feeling of Sean's lips with his own. "May...may I kiss you?"

Eric sighed softly his breathing labored as he had practically ran here and all the talking wasn't helping. Finally he saw Kris's entire body language change and he knew he had understood. He didnt look up at his face however and he just sighed softly listening to the other male. He only nodded at the time fact he was also confused to no end. He had the same exact confusion as Kris and he looked out the front windshield just listening to the other male. He felt the all too familiar fingers touch his chin and he blushed as he looked over at Kris.

"I...I would love for you to.." he said softly as he was asked if he could be kissed. Instead of waiting for Kris to do it tho Eric let his hands move up to Kris's and he leaned to him kissing him softly on the lips, "I only pulled away earlier because I was confused..and I didnt want you to push me away.." he said softly against Kris's lips before he kissed him again. "Are..are you sure you are okay to be with me..? you said you needed to think about it all all the stuff you would have to tell me..?" he said remembering it all. He sat back a little and looked at him worried, "Do you actually want me...or do you just want me right now in this moment..?" he asked fear lacing his voice. He didnt want to be pushed away at a later date because Kris wanted him now and that was all.

Feeling his heart lift even more at Eric saying that he could indeed kiss him, he was surprised when the other kissed him first, bringing their lips together softly. It was perfect, the way their lips meshed together, as if they were meant to be, like two pieces of a puzzle that fit together as one whole. The contact breaks for a moment, so Eric could explain the reasoning for what had happened earlier, why he had pulled away in the music room, before kissing Kristopher a second time. Pure bliss, it was that simple. The sensation of the human's lips against his own sent sparks along his skin, his whole body felt like it was tingling with little shocks.

Hearing the question, Kristopher smiles a little bit, looking deep into Eric's eyes, his own still shining slightly with the tears that had been falling moments earlier. "Yes, I'm sure. I've never been more sure about something in my entire life..." His eyes search Eric's face, knowing full well the concerns that the human was feeling, about everything that was going on. "I'll tell you, I will, just like I said. But I had also said...in three days time." After hearing the last question, his hand moves to the back of Eric's neck, fingers caressing the skin softly. "I want you...not just for this moment. I want you forever." He leans in again, his breath warm upon Eric's lips. "I'll ask you again...Can I keep you?" He murmurs this softly, before closing the space between them, this time the kiss being something a bit more. It was as if through that contact, he was making a promise.

Kristopher was not sure if things would go well between them, but he knew one thing for certain. He finally figured out why Eric was so special. It was because, as in Vampire Lore, Kristopher was drawn to him, there was something about him unlike any other human. It was his very scent, his being, the way his heart beat gradually began to quicken in pace as the kiss deepened, the way his breath felt upon his own. The blood he could literally hear pumping through the veins inches beneath the soft skin he caressed so gently. "I want to keep you..."
