Feeling the other tightly surround him was all Lace needed to release inside Shinji. Knowing that the other would probably be angry made him smile, because he had forgotten to pull out.

Tiredly he falls over the boy, but not enough to squish him, his breath came in large gasps but soon his own body began to calm.

Rolling off he positioned himself next to Shinji, the room hot, and now full of light from the small cracks of the window.

The action had allowed for Lance's mood to refresh and lighten bringing back tingly happy feelings of life and such. If anyone could see his flushed face they would sure laugh at him.

Yawning he stretches his hands, making the muscles flex and then relax, "well Shinji" he adds "you sure know how to wake someone up" chuckling he sat up his back to the back board, the blankets covering his lower body.

Collapsing onto the bed, Shinji breathes deep, knowing quite well what Lance had done, a faint blush remaining on his cheeks. Seat dripped lightly across his bare skin, which was sticky and rather hot to the touch, but it was all good. There was nothing bad going on, it was just...this time it had got him so hot and fired up. Glancing over at Lance he smiles at the comment that was given to him, blushing even more.

"You really think so?" He murmurs, turning to his side, resting his head on Lance's chest, his hand laying softly on the other's bare chest. His own lower half was covered by the blanket as well, but that didn't matter. Being so close to the one he loved was one of the best things in the world, completely naked, covered halfway, or clothed from head to toe.

Sighing softly, he closes his eyes halfway, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "So...what did you say we were going to do today? Clean? Or go out...?"

Sighing he looks at Shinji for a split seconds and the back at the roof.

"Honestly" replies Lance "I'd rather not move anything in this place" addressing it as more of a burden than a warm house. The house, overall, despite the room they were in was dusty and covered in sheets, fireplaces empty and pictures turned.

"We can go out if you'd like, food is a need so we can get that" moving he rolls over the other boy, framing Shinji's face small face with his larger hands "or get used to the weather"

Smiling he watched the other's reactions. Moving to the city for a few months would sound perfect specially because of all the hardships that had been happening in Japan.

A quick kiss was placed on Shinji's forehead before Lance left the bed and found boxers. The curtains of the room were spread open in a quick motion, revealing a white street and a silent city.

Shinji nods at the suggestion of going out and getting food, leaning a bit into the hands that touched his face, definitely wanting to get a good look at the place that he was in, see what it was like outside, anything interesting, that sort of thing. A faint blush forms when his forehead was kissed, and his eyes follow Lance's movements, watching as the older male got up out of the bed, getting clothed. His attention turns to the window, which had been revealed, showing what was outside, a picture of white, snow and a city of silence seen within his gaze.

He too gets up, and finds where his things were, getting dressed, making sure to dress appropriately for the weather, jeans, a long sleeve shirt, and a sweater over it. Placing his glasses on his face, he stretches, yawning a little bit, he sighs softly. Despite knowing some of Lance's past, he didn't get why the other male hated this place so much. Even though it was a bit dirty and abandoned looking, it was a nice place. Probably the memories...

Looking over at Lance, he smiles a bit, shoving his hands into his pockets. A second passes, and his stomach rumbles lightly, making him blink, and then laugh softly. "Looks like the first plan of the day is to get something to eat, huh?"

He stares at Shinji in surprise at the sound and then laughs,a vivid happy laugh that sounded foreign to himself.

"Yes lets go" jeans were put on followed by a shirt, cardigan, and a leather jacket.

His hair was placed back due to it growing too long and not having shape in general. A quick glance in a far away mirror and he heads for the door.

"Think I get any girls with this sexy get up?" he jokes giving Shinji a wink.

The snow on the streets was not enough to impede their walking so it was easy to head out all while staying close due to the freezing temperatures.

Lance's breath could be seen every time he wanted to say something, usually referring to past memories or ways to accommodate Shinji to the city. Over all few people could be seen outside and the large chimney's were all fired up allowing smoke to rise up into the sky.

"Perhaps we should turn's our on" he adds turning the corner into a busier street "it looks near in this cold weather"

He wasn't sure if the boy had ever seen one but it would be nice sharing the experience.

A large store was near by labeled Market in red shinny letters.

Shinji just smiles and shrugs, laughing softly. "I don't know...maybe? I think you look nice anyways..." They head outside, and Shinji was glad that he had brought his heavy coat with and was wearing it now, plus with a scarf, ear muffs, and gloves, as it was freezing outside. They began to walk, the white puffy clouds from Shinji and Lance's breath curling slightly and trailing behind them as they made their way through the snow.

His eyes looked around, taking in everything, admiring the white and slightly silent city in a quiet silence, listening to anything that Lance explained or talked about, smiling the entire time. "Turn on a fireplace? That would be nice...we don't really have those in Japan. Instead, we use kotatsu and things like that." He would definitely like to be able to use a fireplace, looking forward to seeing the flames dancing.

As they walked, his eyes drift to a large store nearby, a market, the letters in bright red, and very shiny. He felt his heart skip a beat, then once more, it was as if it were slowly starting to come to a stop, a heavy weight starting to form on his chest, his breathing becoming painful, his throat tightening terribly, as if someone had their hands around his neck, squeezing tighter with their fingers ever so slowly, choking the life from within him.

His face had gone pale, and he trips lightly, stumbling against Lance, trembling. Before anything too bad could happen, he forces himself to look away, coming to a complete stop, and, not caring if others saw, presses himself against Lance, burying his face into the other's chest, squeezing his eyes shut.

"Why....why....why does it....hurt so much....?" He murmurs, his voice muffled.

"hey..hey" calls Lance calmly his hand now holding the back of Shinji's neck.

Softly he wraps the other around the boy as they get closer, comforting from the cold. The boy's body appeared smaller despite of all the clothing that now covered it, slightly shaking and breathing becoming faster.

"Shinji look at me, look around you" the voice was gentle and soft against the breeze of winter. His lips came close to the boy's ear and slightly kissed there before whispering "what are you scared of Shinji, look how beautiful and white everything is. Winter is a beautiful wife in white smiling" his fingers slightly removed the boy's scarf to make way for his lips.

Another kiss was placed over a small dot on Shinji's neck "she's beautiful and happy with bright shinning eyes"

Lastly Lance's face backed away and fixed the scarf, covering all of the teens lower face, yet leaving his flushed cheeks to be see.

Shinji shivers, feeling warm but cold at the same time, the warmth coming from Lance, but the cold coming from the fear of what was happening. The lips by his ears, kissing softly before whispering words of comfort soothed him, the arms holding him an anchor, a rock, a shield, protecting him from the darkness of what threatened to take him away and never give him back.

The kiss on his lips brought him back to reality, though he still felt shaken up, although a faint blush could be seen, not just from the cold wind that brushed against his skin either. It darkens even more when his neck was kissed, and before he knew it, Lance had replaced his scarf over his face, adjusting it so that it covered the whole lower half, though his red cheeks were still seen.

A moment passes, and he slowly takes Lance's hand, a faint smile forming, though the other could not see it due to the scarf. "Thank you...that helped a lot..." He murmurs, leaning gently against the taller male, sighing softly, tired of being scared, exhausted from the never ending fear of what might happen. "Let's...go..."

Quickly Lance and Shinji make their way into the store, and find the stuff, all done in a rushed in and out of the place in fear of something happening. It had been Lance's fault and he knew it yet would not dare let it happen twice in a day. As they walked back Lance's phone went off and slightly smiled as the contact came into view

"Amelia" he says before answering an engaging in a conversation all while the phone on speaker so the other could hear the older womans cheerful voice.

"I'll have sweets for you when I come by also! Lance did you come alone?" the question startled him for he had not told anyone of Shinji coming with him.

A smirk was given to the younger teen

"She's so sly" he murmurs to the other before answering.

"Oh how wonderful" she replies "make sure you give that boy a nice room and clean that dusty house Lance is falling apart!"

After this she hung up.

Shaking slightly Lance nods and says "perhaps we um...should...perhaps move on now" but this was not directed at anyone mainly said to the empty space in front of them.

They didn't take too long in the store, getting what they needed, and leaving quickly, not spending any wasted time inside. It seemed that after his first 'fit', Lance did not want it to happen again, and so prevented this by pressing fast forward on what they were doing. Shinji didn't mind, because he too did not want any more incidents. Packages in hand, they begin to walk back to the house when Lance's phone goes off, a smile forming on Shinji's face when he hears whose voice it was. Apparently Amelia did not know that Lance had Shinji with him, because she asked if he was alone, making Shinji glance at the older male.

The situation was cleared up when Lance explained what was going on, and the response was funny to listen to. The conversation ends, and so does the phone call. "Alright..." Shinji murmurs, reaching over to Lance and gently taking his hand, linking their fingers together, and smiling at the other male. "Let's get going..." He begins to walk, not completely sure where he was going, but they weren't just standing there, mulling over things out of their control.

He looks up, and smiles a bit more as he saw snow begin to fall, a flake landing on his cheek, melting on his skin and making him shiver slightly. Glancing over at Lance, he wondered just what was on the other male's mind, but does not ask, pretty sure it was something he really didn't want to talk about, not yet anyways. "So...do you want to go back to the house and clean, or would you like something to eat first? I can cook something if you'd like..."

Clearing his throat slightly he agrees.

"Lets clear the kitchen and you can cook, I will search for the cleaning supplies" with this they reached the gates of the house. With a keys Lance opened them and both stepped inside. A creaking noise was heard as they closed giving a small smack at the end when the two end locked.

The tall front door did a similar sound but it differentiated due to it being old and heavy, when the two woods locked together the inside of the house was in complete silence, and only the sound of wind hitting the glass of windows was heard. Slightly shivering Lance guided Shinji to the kitchen in case he had forgotten "feel free to get creative" says the older male knowing Shinji's passion for cooking.

Slowly he walked up the stairs to a small storage room in the left, it was covered with cleaning sprays and mops, there were also masks and the additional duster. A few of the things were carried back with a small vacuum and placed in the center of the living room.

The large deep blue curtains were spread apart allowing the windows to shine white light in, with a small wipe Lance ran it around the crystal and almost instantly the color changed leaving a different view almost appearing HD.

"Wow" he says looking at the difference.

After the kitchen was cleared and cleaned up a bit, and Lance had gone off to do his own thing, Shinji began cooking. He wasn't exactly sure what he was going to make, as they weren't able to find much Asian based foods, so instead decides to get creative, and soon enough an enticing aroma filled the kitchen. It was mouthwatering, the scent of subtle spices, beef, and simmering vegetables, as Shinji was making a savory stew, something he actually knew how to make, despite it not being Japanese.

Slowly stirring the food, Shinji glances around, and smiles a little. He liked it here, despite the slight gloom that blanketed the house. Setting the ladle down, Shinji then finds two bowls, and sets them on the table, along with spoons. Letting the food finish cooking, he gets to making a light desert, deciding to make macaroons. Pistachio, white chocolate, vanilla, raspberry, lemon, blackberry, and pumpkin cinnamon.

The food finished, he puts a bit in each bowl, and goes to the doorway. "Lance! Food is ready!" He calls, before going back and pouring some tea into two cups, before stepping aside and waiting for Lance to come into the kitchen, hoping the older male would like the meal he'd prepared.

The smell spread throughout the house and even all the way in the living room, Lance could smell it. The life that a simple dish could bring was immense and Lance swore he heard laughing as he himself grew cheerful. The fireplace in the room had been cleaned off the dust and replaced with new wood, which was turned on giving off heat to the rest of the area. The furniture covered were removed, allowing the rich rococo furniture color to come to life and adorn the living room once again.

The curtains had been removed and packed together for washing, and Lance sat until he hear Shinji's voice ring.

"Yes" he says loud enough for the boy to hear and heads to the kitchen. He gives him a quick surprise kiss and smiles "smells great".

Lance's clothing were full of dust so he kept his distance from the other. "I also smell sweet stuff, what are you hiding" he asks giving the other a wicked smile as he looks around from the table.

Shinji enjoyed the surprise kiss, smiling at the compliment that was given to him on the scent of the food. "Hm?" He grins, and tilts his head playfully. "It's a surprise. They're not done yet, we'll eat them for desert. But I'm sure you'll enjoy what I've made." He laughs softly, before gently shoving the older male. "Wash up so we can eat, okay?" Sticking his tongue out, he goes over to the sink to wash his hands. "You can't eat dinner all dusty like that, now can you?"

He sits down at the table after drying his hands, waiting for the other to wash up, and once he had he begins to eat, amazed at his own cooking and how well it had turned out. Looking to Lance, he waits to hear what the other thought as well, wondering just how the other would express himself. "So, um...today's moving a bit slow...shall we just stick around here and continue cleaning...then do something a bit more fun tomorrow?"

"What would you like to do?" He asks not minding the situation since it was for Shinji's health. The food was warm and delicious with all sorts of mixtures. From his own chair he watched the boy move on and about,

'How caring you are' Lance thought to himself now drifting a bit. After all the danger and possible bad situations Lance had out Shinji through he wondered if continuing to be selfish about the other was the best way to go. He did want to keep the boy, to the point that he would give anything, but what would happen when the day arrives when social and personal conflicts come.

He grew a bit sad at the thought of it but tried to brush it off.

"Oh I know" he says now as an idea slips into his head "there is a chocolate store a few miles into town, it has the best chocolates that are nicely warmed and melted, others are fit with almost and such" it was incredibly cute and they came in boxes wrapped with large bows

"Perhaps you'd like to pass by there, since it's cold a warm coffee or chocolate would also come in handy"

"I don't know..." Shinji replies, shrugging his shoulders. He really didn't know the place, so of course clue of what there was to do. He was up to do anything really, even if it was just walk around and see what there was for the city to offer. Taking a bite of his food, he looks to Lance, who had spoken up again, mentioning a place where they could go, a chocolate store that sounded quite nice.

He smiles, and nods, swallowing his bite before answering. "That sounds great. I would definitely like to try some of that chocolate, you know me so well." A day trying sweets would definitely be perfect in Shinji's opinion, and speaking of sweets, it was just about time to finish up what he was working on. "Excuse me for a moment..." He gets up from the table, and walks over to where the macarons were, and with his back to the other male, hiding what he was doing from the other, finishes up the French delicacies, and puts them on a serving plate, walking back to the table and sets them down.

"Here you go. Macarons. All kinds of different flavors. I thought you might like them, so decided to make some." He sits down again, blushing lightly. "Go ahead, try one." He smiles, and waits for Lance to do so, wondering what the reaction would be for this food. he always liked getting feedback on anything he made, especially from the older male, who, from what he'd seen so far, always enjoyed trying anything he made. Or at least that's what he thought.

"Settled then we will go" Lance watched Shinji stand and go to the over. Once it was opened a sweet smell covered the kitche.

'Baked sweets' he thought to himself now seein Amelia in Shinji.

With a serious look he watched over every macaroon, examining them and admiring their lovely texture. His eyes moved to look at Shinji and he slowly picked one up. The color was bright orange and he could only guess what the flavor was.

Slowly he but it and his mouth watered, not expecting such a reaction but nevertheless he remained silence and composed

"Shinji" he says with a harsh tone "...these...." Lance could barely hold back a laugh

"Are amazing, sorry for teasing"

The colorful plate brought life to him sweet tooth.

Shinji waits with bated breath to get a reaction from Lance, and once the older male started speaking, he was a bit nervous, as how he started off made it sound like he had some sort of criticism in mind, but once the sentence was finished, he lets out his held breath, sighing loudly. Sticking out his bottom lip, his face gets a cute pouting expression from being teased. "You're a meanie." Shinji grumbles, but soon after breaks into a grin. "But I'm glad you like them."

He picks one up and eats it, surprised by his own cooking, enjoying the flavor of the sweet as he chewed and then swallowed. "Yum." Before he ate any more though he finished his dinner, picking up the empty plates off the table and putting them in the sink, before sitting once more, and looks to Lance. "Did you get a lot of cleaning done?" He asks, picking up a bluish purple colored one, knowing it was blackberry flavor.

"Yes" he answers drinking down the some water that remained on his cup "we can sit in a decent living room now" it was true that despite everything that had happened in the house, Lance found some energy to want to show Shinji. Open up and reflect on things, although the one that needed someone the most was probably the younger boy.

With a bit of concern he ran his fingers through Shinji's hair "is this okay?" he asks never once really seeing if how things had turned up was to Shinji's liking.

The days continued by, snow piled up but it did not fall in large quantities. The house was sparkling clean inside leaving Lance's old room the ot untouched section. He felt things were too calm for his own liking but no one could really complain about that.

The clock hit 4am when Lance awoke from a sudden dream. Quickly he stood up and looked around his own eyes adjusting to the dark.

Quietly he walked downstairs and reached into the fridge. His head was slightly leaning in as he checked for their yogurts, his left hand holding the door unaware of anything around him.

"Lance" called a soft voice making him jump.

"W-..." He chocked back before his eyes spotted the source. A young boy with deep blonde hair stood some distance away, his blue eyes staring at Lance.

"Welcome back" he says his voice reminding him of a far away person "I'll see you soon"

With a blink of an eye the other was gone.

It seemed as if time had a mind of it's own, as the days slipped by like water gripped in one's fingers, unable to stick around for long, gone before you have time to even memorize what was going on, blink your eyes and it was over. Four days had gone by since the night that Shinji had made that dinner, and since that time it had snowed quite a lot. And because of how much it had snowed, the two weren't really able to go out much, especially since the cold would just end up making Shinji sick, something that was surely not wanted by either of them.

A lot of cleaning had been done, and even though Shinji usually slept with Lance for the most part in his bed, a spare room had been cleaned up for him, and that night he was staying in that room, curled up, warm and cozy beneath the blankets. As he slept, he didn't notice that the blankets were gradually falling off of him, until he shivers from suddenly being cold, skin bumping up gently from goosebumps, his arm hair standing straight on end. Shaking, he opens his eyes, seeing his breath just slightly in the darkness of the dimmed room. He glances at the glowing face of his digital wrist watch, and with blurred eyes could just make out the time of 3:57.

Getting up from the bed, he pulls on a robe, slips on a pair of fuzzy socks, and heads into the hallway, surprised to see that Lance's door was open, and when he peeked inside, saw that the older male was not inside. A puzzled frown forms on his lips, slim eyebrows narrowing as he creeps down the hallway, towards the stairs, then down them, where he pauses at the foot of the steps, seeing a light on in the kitchen. And not only that, he heard voices. One he recognized, the other wasn't one he knew.

Holding his breath, he listens, but before he had the chance to hear anything, it falls silent. On tip-toe, Shinji moves forward, pausing quietly at the kitchen doorway, seeing Lance standing at the refrigerator door, looking as if he'd seen a ghost or something. "Lance...?" He murmurs, one hand clutching the doorway lightly, a tired, but worried expression on his face. "Um, I heard something just now...were you...talking to someone?"

Lance's face became pale white as he watched the boy walk away and eventually disappear. This eyes remained locked on one another, and it was then that Lance realized that the boy's eyes were as blue as anything he'd ever seen before. His hands shock slightly from the shock and his body remained frozen, the cold air from the fridge hitting his back.

He finally snapped from his thoughts when Shinji's voice ran through the room. His face turned to find the other standing in the door way.

"What was that?" he asks but registers the question soon after "N-no there was no one, I was just talking to myself" he forces a smile and turns to pull a yogurt out "trying to see what flavour to get" with a chuckled he closes the door.

He'd concluded to being tired, and most than likely going crazy. Lance could find no answer to what had happened, but he could not deny that Shinji had heard someone too and that freaked him out.

So many questions began to rise in his head that it kept him from falling asleep after returning to bed and no he was doing the same thing, sitting there just asking himself what the hell had happened.

'He was so pale and almost shiny' he tells himself remembering the face of the other.

His head feel in his hands, Lance's hair falling slightly, his frustration took the best out of him.

"Oh...alright then..." He murmurs in reply, noticing how pale Lance looked, as if something had scared him, but says nothing. Instead he steps forward, and opens the refrigerator door again, reaching inside and pulling out a small bottle of milk, opening it and taking a drink. His eyes gazed at the other for a moment, while drinking the milk, but says nothing; once he'd finished he throws away the empty carton and walks towards the doorway. Pausing he glances at Lance one last time, and smiles a small smile. "Good night."

/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/

By the next morning Shinji was awake and smiling, as it was rather nice outside, despite the snow that covered every single inch of the ground and everything around. The rising sun made the white snow glisten like a million tiny diamonds and crystals, shimmering and beautiful. For a moment all Shinji could do was stare out the window, in awe at the mesmerizing view that mother nature had created, a picturesque view of near perfect beauty.

After a moment he steps away from the window that he was gazing out of, and heads to the kitchen, and after a minute of looking around begins to make breakfast. It was nothing special or complicated: eggs, bacon, and some toast. His mind wanders as he cooks, thinking to what had happened last night, wondering just what was up with Lance.
