Jet
Name: Tooru Nishimura Nicknames: Kyo, Waru, Warumono Birth date: February 16, 1976 Place of birth: Kyoto Chinese zodiac sign: Dragon Blood type: B Height: 1.60 m Weight: 43 kilograms Hobbies: Picking on others History: Tooru "Kyo" Nishimura you is a Japanese singer born in February 16 in the year in Kyoto. He started his career as a musician at 15 years old leaving High School on the side (He only finished elementary school). He grew up in Kyoto, and at 18 years old, he moved to Osaka, where he familiarized with the musical environment with his first band called "Gesshoku". Kyo started to participate in bands ever since he was 16. After being in many bands, recording between one or two songs he joined Haijin Kurobarazok. Then he joined La:Sadies, where he met Kisaki, Shinya, Die and Kaoru. He joined Haijin Kurobarazok, where he met Kisaki and Shinya. He formed Dir en Grey in 1997 with all the band members of La:Sadies, with Toshiya as the bassist, not Kisaki. Kyo wrote all the lyrics and composed one of the songs of Dir en Grey's first disc MISSA. On the 00 >> 01 MACABRE Tour, Kyo had and acoustic problem, and got temporarily deaf on his left ear in 2002. After coming over this and almost dying, he wrote the song "Ain't Afraid to Die" which describes his impassivity to death, one of the themes that are most commonly repeated in his songs. Kyo has gone through many changes in his image on the stage, as he has started with Visual Kei, now he has left aside that superficial aspect. During shows he dedicates himself to mutilate himself to express pain, strengthening the intention of his lyrics. The mutilations consist of, for example, scratching the inside of his cheeks until he bleeds from the mouth, scrape his chest causing wounds, hitting his face with punches, and stabbing himself in the face with the microphone. He also "marks" himself with the phrase "No Future" on his chest. Although on stage he tends to act of emotional and aggressive form, outside of that, he behaves completely different, and in interviews he shows himself to be very polite and respectful. Beyond that, he tends to be very reserved and doesn't tend to contact fans. He also doesn't let himself be seen by cameras after or before concerts. He hates to be called "kawaii", and that is why he shows a very "unpleasant" image, with numerous piercings on his face besides leaving his arms completely tattooed. Kyo admits to writing very violent and sadistic lyrics, dealing always with the pain in his facets: physical pain, mental pain, provoked pain, suffered pain, etc... He tends to use phrases with double entendre, inverted phrases, and hardly understandable. In many of his lyrics, especially the most recent ones, he uses English, even without speaking it, so he can express things that Japanese doesn't let him or just simply for aesthetic value. InuCassy
Name:Cassandra Lyon Nicknames:Cassy, Cas, Sandra Birth date:July 22, 1984 Place of Birth:San Jose, California Blood Type:A- Height:5ft Weight:Unknown (doesn't tell others) Hobbies:Being the savior for those in need, playing as a neko History: Growing up in a single parent home, Cassandra learned how to provide for herself when her mother was too busy drinking. Always appearing cheerful on the outside, yet screaming within. Making friends then losing them was never a bother to her. She knew how to preoccupy herself whenever alone. By the time she was 14, hatred filled her soul, turning the once cheerful girl into a darker image of herself. Cutting herself was almost a daily thing, then it turned to drugs and alcohol. She entered her first sexual relationship with an older man, who fed her booze and physical abuse. Once Cassandra escaped from the relationship from Hell, her mind had been twisted so badly that she fell into another relationship with the same results two years later. Meds, drugs and alcohol weren't enough to heal her broken, bloody soul. No matter how much she tried to bury her painful past, it always resurfaced at the wrong time. Years will pass before she learned to stuff all that down and keep it hidden from others. Sometimes the pain can still be seen in her eyes. Music helps to bring her mind to a state of content, especially her favorite band Dir En Grey. Cassandra doesn't like to be called pretty, beautiful or anything of the sort. She just doesn't see herself as anything more than the dirt on the ground.
Jet
The band Dir en Grey was on the bus and going to a concert in California. Kaoru was reading a magazine in the middle of the bus, Shinya was sitting quietly in the back of the bus, Die and Toshiya was talking on the other side of Kaoru, and Kyo was looking out of the window in front of the bus. Kyo was quiet worried and nervous going to the concert, but he must do it for his fans. Kaoru looked away from his magazine and notices Kyo was quiet and Shinya was quiet too. Kaoru got up from his seat and sat down next to Kyo, who made pictures on the window with his finger, "What's wrong, Kyo? You're really quiet, even Shinya is quiet. Is there something wrong with you two?" Kyo looked at his best friend with worry in his eyes. Kyo shifted in his seat to sit up and looked out of the window and realize their almost there, he looks at Kaoru, "I'm fine, just a little nervous going to the concert, ya'know?" Kaoru smiles and nods, he understands what Kyo means. As they reach to the destination Kyo, Die, Kaoru, Toshiya, and Shinya gets off of the bus and looks at the big building. Shinya stepped closer to the building and he felt Die tug his shirt, "what is wrong with you?" Kyo felt his breath starting to go get faster. Shinya turns around and looks at his friends, "Nothing is wrong with me, I'm fine." Die steps closer, "you're not fine! You and Kyo are acting strange!" Kaoru steps in front of his friends to stop them, "we're all nervous and I understand that. We're here for the fans, step aside what's going on, and have some fun guys. We're here to make fans happy, understand?" They all nodded to agree.
InuCassy
Staring at the ticket in her hand as the cool breeze washed over her face, Cassandra let out a soft sigh. Tonight. The concert is tonight. She felt overwhelmed with excitement, considering that the band she was going to see was Dir En Grey. A gentle smile crept across her lips. "Finally! I finally get to see Kyo live, in person!" she thought to herself. Looking herself over in the bathroom mirror, a sudden sickening sadness filled her entire being. Here was the day she waited months for, yet she will be spending it alone. None of her friends wanted to join her, even though she was more than willing to pay for extra tickets. Cassandra turns away from the mirror and walks out of the bathroom. She grabs her sweater and car keys and heads out then door. The concert was being held in San Fransisco, which was about an hour away from where she lived. It's three hours before the doors open, but she decides to leave early so she doesn't have to rush finding the place once in the city. Cassandra hops in the car and starts it. Pulling out her cigarettes, she places one between her lips and lights it. 'Glass Skin' begins to play on the radio, as she pulls out the driveway and heads down the road. Hearing this song brings a tear to her eye, which is wiped away quickly. Ashes drop into her lap and her phone rings in her pocket. "Who the fuck can that be?" Cassandra struggles to retrieve the phone from here pocket, and drops it onto the floor board right as it's pulled out. "Son of a bitch", she mumbles as she pulls the car over to the side of the road. Grabbing the phone and looking at who the missed call was from, it rings again. The caller is someone she dreaded talking to:her ex Robert. Throwing the phone into the backseat, Cassandra continues on down the road and onto the freeway. Traffic was light, which shocked the hell out of her. She makes it to the Bay Bridge within 40 minutes instead of the usual hour. Rushing through traffic and off the bridge, it takes another 30 minutes to find the Regency Ballroom. Parking the car a couple of blocks away, Cassandra hops out, puts her sweater on and heads down the street. She can see a line of people outside the Ballroom, and hops in line with the other fans. Jet
Kyo was at the back stage with the rest of the band members getting ready, testing instruments, checking the lights, and making sure they have everything they need. Kaoru walks over to Kyo with a smile, "You ready, buddy?" Kyo smiles at Kaoru and nods, as Kaoru walks away, Kyo grabs a water bottle and drinks some water. Shinya was in the dressing room looking all pretty, as Kyo thought anyway. Shinya was doing his hair brushing it delicately, Kyo smiled and shook his head. Kyo got up from his seat and got ready himself. Kyo looked at the mirror with a sigh, not feeling too good. Kyo gets his shirt on, make sure his hair looks okay, and walks over to Kaoru, Die, Toshiya, and Shinya who were all pumped and ready to go! Right behind them the manager walks up to them smiling, "you guys ready?" the band yells yeah more pumped than ever. The band huddle in a circle with their hands on top of each other, Kaoru looks at them all, "1! 2! 3!" they throw their hands up and they said 'Dir en Grey" all together. Kyo took his spot in front of the stage, Kaoru was on the left side, Toshiya was on the right, Die was behind Kyo, and Shinya was at the drums testing them out. Kyo looked at Toshiya and smiled and Toshiya smiles back. As the band took place on the stage the lights turned off, right on cue. Kyo adjusted the mic, Kaoru looked down at his guitar plucking the strings from boredom, Shinya sat quietly, Toshiya plugged in the cord for the amp, and Die was being his old self. Kyo looked at all of his fans that took his breath away, there were probably about 2,000-4,000 people to see Dir en Grey. Some of the seats were already taken, some people stood up, some people left, and some people stayed. Kyo smirked at the fans, but had a weird feeling... InuCassy
Cassandra pushes her way to the stage. A woman looks over at her and pushes her back. This usually would cause her to throw a punch, but not this time. She shoves the woman down on the floor and smiles at her. "Feeling froggy, bitch?" she growls at the idiot on the floor. The woman's eyes grow wide. Cassandra watches the woman dust herself off and walk away. A chuckle escapes her throat. Turning her eyes back towards the stage, Cassandra eyes each one of the band members, especially Kyo. Her heart begins to race in her chest. He looked amazing in person. Of course, the rest of the band did as well. Looking over her shoulder at the people closest to her, she wished she wasn't standing amongst them alone. A feeling of stupidity came over her. Even though she was happy to be here, her loneliness ate at her heart. The lights dim, and the crowd goes wild. People scream out the names of the band members, as Cassandra yells out Kyo's name. It felt like a dream. A beautiful, yet sad dream.
