"What happened this time?" Jimmy asked with a sigh, as he continued to clean a glass behind the bar. It was midnight and Club Lucky had been a ghost town for a good hour and a half, only Jimmy and two patrons left, Vincenzo and Dr. Simmons. They sat on the red, plush stools in front of the bar, behind which was a large stock of bootlegged liquor. Several chandeliers hung from the ceiling, though only one was on at the moment, and the many booths and tables were completely vacant.

"Beats me," Vincenzo chuckled scornfully, eyeing the tumbler of whiskey in his right hand. He shook it gently, watching the ice sway back and forth.

"Yeah? Well, what'd she SAY happened?" the blonde bartender inquired, placing the glass in it's rightful place and beginning to clean a new one.

"I dunno," the brunnette scoffed, slamming the remaining bit of his whiskey. "Somethin' along the lines of, 'I thought I liked dangerous guys, Vince, but you... you top the charts, and I just got to thinkin', and well, maybe... maybe I'm not woman enough for you, Vince.'"

Jimmy raised a brow, then loud out a loud laugh, shaking his head as he poured Vincenzo another drink. "That ain't what she said."

"Well, that's what I heard," Vince mumbled, snatching his drink away.

"If she ain't woman enough, maybe you should just start dating guys," Jimmy said, struggling to contain his laughter at his self-proclaimed hilarious joke.

"Maybe you should just shut the fuck up and do your job, Jimmy," Vince growled, taking a large gulp of his whiskey.

"I'm serious! It'd help you get over Annie or Amy or Emily or whatever her name was." Jimmy couldn't stop laughing.

"Great. This is exactly what I get for expectin' my best pal to co-miserable with me," Vincenzo mumbled, reaching behind the bar, past Jimmy, to grab another bottle, popping the top off.

"I believe the word you're searching for is commiserate," the other patron, Dr. Simmons, said, his voice just slightly slurred.

"I believe the word you're searchin' for is mind your own damn business, Doc," Vincenzo growled, glaring at the man beside him.

"Hey, Vince," Jimmy said, having just recovered from what he thought was a joke. "I wouldn't be goin' around, threatenin' the only doctor that'll help you if I were you. If it ain't for him, you'd be dead in an alley somewhere already."

Before Vincenzo could retaliate, a middle aged man appeared in the doorway. "What's going on in here?"

"Absolutely nothing, in case you haven't noticed, Lucas," Jimmy said, gesturing to the empty tavern.

Lucas sighed, taking a seat next to Vince. "Well, I didn't come here to discuss business--"

"Or lack of it," Jimmy interrupted, holding a finger up.

"Or lack of it, yes," Lucas said, giving Jimmy a look that shot daggers. "I came here to ask you a favor, Leoni."

Vincenzo looked up from his bottle at the man. "What kind of favor?" he asked wearily. "I ain't in the mood to fight no more."

"Well hopefully, this favor shouldn't involve any fighting, Vincenzo," Lucas said. "You know how I got a brother in McHenry, right? Well, his son, my nephew, Felix, is gonna be on the 2 o'clock to La Salle tomorrow, and I need you to pick him up. He's a bit of a hellion, by McHenry standards, anyways, but it shouldn't be anything you can't deal with... So, can you help me out?"

Vince thought for a moment, then shrugged. "Sure. Hey, how old is he?"

"Almost 18."

Vince blinked, taking a swig from the bottle. "Well... alright. How will I know it's him?"

"Go out back, get some plywood and paint, then paint his name on it. Wait at the train station and hold it up," Lucas instructed.

"Sounds easy enough. Okay, I'll do him." Vincenzo's eyes widened at the error in his choice of words. "It. I mean it. I've had probably 2 bottles of this shit right now, you can't blame me for what I say!"

Lucas chuckled, shaking his head. "It's fine, Vince, I really wouldn't expect you to say something like that about another man." His smile faltered, and he grew solemn. "But in all seriousness, I can't have you, any of you, mentioning anything to him about Club Lucky. Got it?"

"Sir yes sir!" Vince mockingly saluted, holding his half empty bottle in the air.

"I mean it, Leoni," Lucas said with a glare in Vince's direction. "Now... Go get started on that sign and get some sleep. I'll make you pay if you forget to pick him up." He gave a bright, but very threatening, smile, as he stood up and walked away, leaving Vince, Jimmy, and Dr. Simmons alone.

"So, Vince, I see you've decided to take my advice on seein' other guys?" Jimmy teased, his laughing fit starting up again.

"Can it, Jimmy," Vinceno growled, as he stood up and grabbed his jacket, leaving to make the sign.

Vincenzo sat on the hood of his 1926 black Pontiac, leaning his elbow on a sign reading "FELIX", looking up at the sky as he waited for Lucas's nephew to come out of the building. He was actually giving some thought to Jimmy's idiotic remark, maybe dating guys wasn't such a bad idea. After all, he had such bad luck with women... Hmm. He had started wondering what Felix would look like, Jimmy had joked that he would look like a Lucas clone, with the exact same face and body, only with different hair and clothes. Vincenzo really hoped not.

He glanced at his watch, then back at the train station. He wore a black pinstripe vest over a white button up shirt, a red tie tucked into the front of said vest, and black pinstripe pants. His dark brown hair was slicked back, which was really the only way to tame it. Honestly and truly, he hoped that he would look good to Lucas's nephew. Though he swore to himself it had nothing to do with what Jimmy said, he just wanted to make a good first impression of the city folk, and show Felix what the standards there were... right?

Sitting alone on a bench in the train, a young blonde male stared out the window as the city quickly came in to view. He was excited to arrive, he'd only heard stories about the big city. Always wanting to go, never getting the chance. But now he was there, on his way to the place he always dreamed about. Chicago. His eyes grow wide at the scene outside the window, and a huge smile was on his lips. He couldn't wait to step off the train and begin his new adventure. Which made him think of something his parents had said before he'd left.

"Now Jasper, you don't go misbehaving you hear me? I want you to grow into a creditable man, so no more of this fooling around business, do you understand?" The look on his mother's face had been quite serious. But even with the seriousness, he could see tears in her eyes. His father hadn't been able to come to the station to see him off, so he'd said his goodbyes to his father earlier that day.

"Yeah, I understand. And I told you before ma, call me Felix. Everyone else does but you." He was smiling, and hugs his mother lightly. "And don't cry, I'll be fine. If you want, I'll write everyday."

His mother hugs back, sniffling softly. "Your name is Jasper and that's what I'm going to call you. And please write. The train is here, so you better get going. You got your bags? Tricks is in her basket? Okay, good bye dear, be good. I love you!" She gently pushes him away, and he gets on the train, waving back to her.

"Goodbye ma, I love you!" Once on the train he looks out the window, to get one last view of his mother waving farewell, tears running down her cheeks.

A faint mewing sound came from the wicker basket on the bench next to him. Tricks, his cat, was inside. She was a stray he'd found as a kitten, and took care of. She was now three years old, and the two were close. Felix also owned a dog named Riley, but had to leave him behind at home.

"It'll be fine Tricks. We're nearly there." He knew how she felt, being cramped up, not having freedom. He hated it, and no doubt she did too, because of her meowing complaints.

In time, they arrive in the station, and the train comes to a stop. Felix stands up, straightening his clothes before picking up his two suitcases, knapsack, and wicker basket. That day he was wearing a short sleeved white button up collared shirt, with a light brown sweater vest over it, brown knee length shorts, white socks, and brown lace up loafers. Along with his usual white gloves and brown hat, with his bangs over one of his eyes.

Stepping off the train, he looks around, trying to spot someone familiar, but sees no one. He thinks that maybe his uncle was waiting outside the station, and heads towards the wide entry way, not paying attention and tripping on a crack in the brick floor, falling to his knees, his belongings dropping. The wicker basket containing Tricks pops open, and the black and white, green eyed feline flies out, hissing, and scurries off.

Felix jumps to his feet, grabs his things, and chases after Tricks. "Oi! Stop that cat!!!" He yells, running out of the station just as he sees Tricks scurry to get under a black car. Felix dives after her, and grabs the cat by the middle, but in the process, slides across the ground on his front and slams headfirst into the side of the car, near the front wheel.

He was a little stunned, laying on the ground flat on his stomach, his hat on the ground, and his clothes now dirty. His elbows and knees were scraped up, and there was a cut on his left thigh from landing on a rock, blood dripping from it. His forehead was becoming dark as a bruise formed.

'Dammit...perfect entrance Felix, way to go...'

Goddamn, Jimmy. Thinkin' he's clever. I'll teach him to laugh at something that's funny... Completely lost in his thoughts, Vincenzo almost fell off the hood of his car when he heard someone take a dive to the ground, and, god forbid, crash headfirst into his beloved Umbriel.

"Hey! You!" he yelled, jumping off the hood and grabbing the blonde-haired stranger, yanking him off the ground. "Just what in the hell do you think you're doin'?!" He pointed to the black car, then pointed at the poor stranger in his grasp. "That is a 1926 Pontiac, you're lucky I don't rip ya a new one... Now go on, dry up, get outta here." Vince pushed the blonde away, without ever giving him a chance to explain himself, when he remembered something.

"Hey now, uh... You wouldn't happen to be Lucas's nephew, now would you?" he asked with a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of his neck.

Before he knew what was happening, he was yanked up off the ground by the back of his shirt, to come face to face with a complete stranger, Tricks held tightly in his grip. He stared at the finger that was pointing in his face, going cross-eyed to keep both eyes on it. All he could do was stare, not at all sure what to say. He stumbles slightly when he was pushed away, and he finally finds his voice.

"Sorry..."

Picking up the bags he'd dropped, the hat from the ground, placing it on his head, and letting Tricks curl around the back of his neck, he turns around to walk away, a bit shaken up by what had just had happened. Felix honestly thought he was going to get beat up on his first day in the city. Even though he stood there normally, his knees were shaking, and he was surprised he didn't pee himself.

However, he didn't get a chance to even take one step away when the owner of the car spoke to him, asking him a question, about if he was Lucas's nephew. Turning around to face the man, he studies the other guy, before answering the question, his voice unsure. How in God's name did his uncle know a guy like this?

"If you're talking about Lucas Wesley, then yeah, that's me. I'm Jasper Wesley, but I go by Felix." He scrutinized the other man. "And who might you be. You don't look like someone who my uncle would get along with, no offense to you mister." He added the 'mister' part to be polite, because he seriously didn't want to get hurt.

Vincenzo let out a somewhat sincere laugh, it was true. The uptight crowd Lucas normally hung around were all convinced that he had been helping Vince with his "evil ways," and no one else really thought about it. Or cared, for that matter. "And you don't look like someone who would be related to the old bat, no offense to ya, kid." He smirked and winked, then awkwardly cleared his throat.

"So, uh... about earlier. Sorry 'bout that. It's just, this here's the newest make, and a dent on her is a dent on my heart, y'know?" he asked, rubbing his hand over the hood of his Pontiac. "Well damn, where are my manners? The name's Vincenzo Leoni, but friends call me Vince. Lucas asked me to pick you up, which I was fixin' on doin', until uh, y'know..." He chuckled in embarrassment over earlier's mishap, rubbing the back of his neck. "You need help with your bags?"

Raising an eyebrow at the comment made towards his uncle, he shrugs. "And don't call me kid, or else I might start calling you 'old man'. Besides, it's not my fault. It's Tricks's fault." He holds the cat up so it was eye level to the man. She meows, her tail twitching back and forth, and she was purring loudly. Tilting his head so he could look past Tricks, he listens as the man introduces himself as Vincenzo Leoni. But his friends called him Vince.

"Well then, old man Vince, nice to meet ya. Oh, and Tricks says sorry." He grins, and holds the cat out, and she licks the tip of Vince's nose, still purring very loudly. Felix laughs, and lets the cat onto his shoulders again. He picks up his bags, and when offered help, he shrugs. "I don't care. Do what ya want. Oh...and by the way..." He grins even wider. "I forgive you. But you owe me, deal?"

He wondered again just who this guy was, and wondered how his uncle, a very religious man, could stomach a guy such as this. They were complete, and total opposites! Then again, his Uncle Lucas did many things that confused other people, or made no sense, he guessed this was just one of those things. So, he decided to let that go for now, focusing instead on gazing around at his surroundings from where he was standing.

Damn, feisty. Vincenzo grinned wide, popping his trunk open, taking the bags from Felix and setting them inside with ease. "Careful who you're callin' old, kid, you'll be my age before you know it." He slammed the trunk shut and walked over to the passenger seat, grinning at Felix as he opened the door for him. "And we'll see who's laughin' then."

He slid across the hood of his car, landing on his feet as he opened the driver's door, looking over at Felix. "Yeah, yeah, whatever," he fake pouted, in response to owing the other a favor. He minded... not at all, actually. In fact, he was glad. It gave him a reason to see Felix again, but of course he wouldn't say such a thing out loud. Leaning down so he could get in -- because as badass as his ride was, they really weren't made for someone of his height -- Vince put the keys in the ignition, starting the car, as he looked over to Felix. "Watch your cat, will ya? My baby's already experienced one traumatic event today, I don't need scratches all over her gorgeous interior." He fake pouted again, rubbing the steering wheel as the engine roared to life.

He remembered something Lucas had said. "It's fine, Vince, I really wouldn't expect you to say something like that about another man." But that's where you're wrong, ol' Lucas. I ain't havin' feelings for a GUY... even if he is funnier and cuter than all the dames in Chi-town put together... Ah hell, at this rate, I'll be in confession by 5 o'clock just 'cause of what I'm thinkin'.

Felix simply laughs at Vince's comment, and gets into the car when the other opened the door for him. Sitting in the car, he laughs a bit when Tricks's tail tickles his nose. She didn't even move an inch at the sound of the car starting, instead she lazily closes her eyes. "Don't worry, Tricks is a nice kitty. Aren't ya Tricks?" He reaches up and tickles the cat under her chin, and she meows happily. "See? Even she agrees she's nice." He shoots a playful grin at Vince.

"Which is more than you can say, I mean, you threatened to give me one more hole my body don't need. Seriously, that's just cruel right there. I ain't in need of no more hole's, bodily or otherwise." His voice was snarky and teasing, and he laughs at the end of his little comment he'd made. When Felix was more comfortable around people, the manner of his speech changed, from polite to playful and fun. Also, he was more easy going, evident in the way he talked.

He glances over at Vince, then looks straight ahead, all the whole while having a smile on his lips. He reaches up, and pulls off his hat, setting it in his lap for a moment. He then proceeds to run his fingers through his hair, which had gotten messy from his fall. When it was all fixed, he puts his hat back on, making sure it was secure on his head. Now,like before when he'd just stepped off of the train, his hair was decent looking, his bangs flopping gently over his left eye.

Vincenzo laughed softly under his breath, shaking his head. "You lunged at my baby, I just came to the rescue like any proper gentlemen would." He mocked being offended, holding one hand over his heart as he drove with the other. "Your words sting me."

He turned the corner, heading to Lucas's house. Glancing at Felix out of the corner of his eye, he chewed on his bottom lip. He wasn't sure if he was actually attracted to him, or if he was just frustrated over what Jimmy had said earlier. Deciding to go with the latter, he spoke again. "So what brings you to Chicago?" he asked, changing the subject.

As they began driving, Felix stared out the window, wide eyed at the view. He was amazed at everything he saw, a huge grin on his lips. However, that grin slips slightly when he was asked what brought him to Chicago. Felix glances over at Vince, then looks away, silent for a bit, before mumbling a response.

"I don't wanna talk about it."

He looks out the window again, and after a moment or two, he was back to being cheerful and exited. He went as far as to lean out the window, nearly his whole upper half hanging out, as he looked around, one hand holding onto the car so he wouldn't fall, the other holding onto his at so it wouldn't fly away in the wind. Tricks had jumped from his shoulders and was now sitting on the floor of the car by his feet.

The huge grin had returned, and he was looking around with wide eyes, trying to see everything. People driving by or walking pointed, or stared, or just looked away, one young girl, who looked about his age and dressed in rather expensive looking clothes waved at him a big smile on her lips, and he waves back. He looks back at her, and blushes gently, she was pretty.

"This place is so amazing! I've only ever dreamed of coming here!" He laughs, oblivious to any weird looks he was receiving, enjoying his first time in the big city to the fullest.

Vincenzo was confused about the other's sudden change in demeanor, but decided not to push his luck, which was fine, since Felix eventually reverted to normal anyways. He watched as the other stuck nearly half his body out of the window with a soft smile, having been born and raised in Chicago, he was used to the mundane city life. Not that it wasn't enjoyable, but it wasn't anything special either.

He had been so captivated by Felix's childlike fascination with the city, he almost didn't notice a large branch sticking out, close enough to barely scrape his window, and he was sure that Felix didn't notice it either. "Hey, watch out!" he yelled, wrapping his arm around Felix's waist and pulling him back down into his seat, just barely missing the branch. "Jesus kid, you'll get your head knocked off if you ain't careful, alright?"

He indeed hadn't noticed the branch, as he'd been looking the other way. His eyes grow wide as he was suddenly grabbed around the waist, and pulled back into the car. For a moment he was silent, but then he busts out laughing, his head tilted back, his eyes closed partway, mouth wide, and a faint red on his cheeks. His heart was pounding in his chest, and was short of breath from the excitement.

Calming down, he lets out a breath of air, and grins at Vince. "Hehehe, sorry 'bout that!" He settles into the seat, Tricks jumping up into his lap. "And to be completely out there, I doubt my head woulda got knocked off, just sayin'. Maybe I'd get knocked out, but not knocked off. You worry too much, maybe I was right in givin' you the nickname 'old man'." He laughs again, and looks out the window, adrenaline still pounding through his veins.

He had never felt so excited in his entire life. Never before had his heart beat so fast. Never had he laughed so hard, or felt so free. Even so, he knew once he reached his uncle's, the freedom would come to an end. But that wouldn't stop him. It never did. Not Felix, one of adventure and trying new things. Even if he had to sneak out, he'd find a way.

"Oh, I'm old?" Vincezo let out a sincere laugh, shaking his head. "I could bench press you, kid. My body ain't givin' out for a good 40 more years." He turned another corner, onto Lucas's street. "Besides, if I bring you back with even a bruise, your uncle's gonna have it out for me... And since you already got yourself that hearty scrape on your arm tryin' to headbutt my car, I think I could do without carrying your unconscious body to the door."

He pulled into Lucas's driveway, turning to face Felix. "Y'know... If such a simple drive excited ya that much, I think you might wanna lay down a bit before you do anything else... You ain't seen nothin' yet." He grinned and winked, before getting out of his car and closing the door behind him, walking over to open the passenger door for Felix, then walked to the back, opening the trunk and grabbing Felix's luggage, carrying it to the front door, ringing the bell.

"And uh, y'know... I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell your uncle about the whole "rip you a new one" thing. He can be awfully vengeful, and I got enough people after my head, thank ya very much." Vince chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.

They pull into the driveway to his Uncle's house, and Felix looks over at Vince when he spoke up, grinning at what was said to him. "I'll keep that in mind. And I dare ya to bench me. I gotta see this." He wondered just by what the other meant when he'd said that he hadn't seen anything yet. Deciding to let it come as it did, like anyone who enjoyed a bit of excitement in their life, he picks up Tricks from his lap and sets her on his shoulders.

When the car door was opened, he steps out, looking around, left, then right, and then straight at the house his uncle lived in. It was a rather nice house, with two stories. There was a path that led to the front porch, which had a swinging bench, a couple of chairs, and a table on it. As well as a few potted plants here and there, which were terribly wilted and dying.

As they waited on the porch for his uncle to open the door, he looks up at Vince and grins, mischief aglow in his eyes. "I ain't makin' no promises. I mean, I could try not to tell, but it just might, uh, slip in a conversation at dinner, ya get me? But I can try." Just then the door opens, revealing his Uncle Lucas. A tall man with a wiry but strong physique, he looked about the same as his brother, Felix's father.

The man eyes Felix, taking a mental note of the bruise on his forehead, the cut on his leg, and the huge scrapes on his arms and knees. He raises an eyebrow, and looks over to Vince, a frown on his lips, his expression reading along the lines of 'what the hell happened?' but looks to Felix again. "Go on in the house. Your room is upstairs, the one with the open door. Take your bags, start unpacking. I'll be up in a moment."

"Yessir." Felix nods, and takes his things from Vince. "Well, nice meeting you mister Vince. Thanks for the ride." He walks past his uncle into the house, then pauses. Turning around, he grins, and looks straight at Vince. "And don't forget that you owe me!" With that, he goes upstairs to the room he was told about, setting his bags down and placing Tricks on the bed. It was a decent sized room, done up in natural colors. It had a dresser, a closet, a bookshelf (with books included) a desk with a chair, and a small table by the bed, the bed much bigger than the one from at home.

Going over to the window, he looks out it, it gave a excellent view of the street. And when he looked down, he could see Vince's car in the drive. He grins, and begins to unpack, putting his clothes away, setting his own books up, placing his stationary in the desk, and placing Tricks's basket in the corner. When he was finished, he goes over to the window again, and saw that Vince's car was still there.

Lucas crosses his arms over his chest, and stares hard and long at Vince. "Okay. Explain Leoni." His voice was gruff, and his eyes were still narrowed. "I ask you one favor, to get my brother's kid here safely, and yet here he is, looking like he got trampled."

"Well, ya see now Lucas, I didn't have anything to do with that there bruise," Vincenzo said, on the defensive. It was mostly true, he didn't do anything that caused those unfortunate events to take place. The kid was clumsy, so what? That being said, he most certainly didn't do anything to help, short of threatening him with even more pain. But that wasn't so important. "That cat ran away, Felix chased after it, lost his footing, and landed face first into Umbriel's tire." He pointed to his car. "Hell, he should be apologizing to me, kid's got a skull of stone, coulda fucked that tire up, y'know? But," he grinned, bowing cheesily. "Seein' how he's basically family, I suppose I can let it slide."

"Y'know though, if you're really that bent outta shape about it, I suppose I can come back later and show him around the city, take him off your hands for a while, huh?" Vincenzo smiled, he was used to teasing Lucas, and mostly got away with it. Most people who knew Vince knew that he was a grade-A smartass, so anyone who dealt with him on a daily basis was pretty much used to his snarky remarks at this point.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Keep the excuses to a minimum please Vince." Lucas sighs, unfolding his arms and sticking his hands in his pockets. Even if it had been an accident, he was still a bit annoyed that Felix had arrived with injuries, even if they were small and petty injuries.

At Vince's suggestion, Lucas raises his eyebrow. "Fine. I'll hold you to that. Come back in an hour or so. But when you do, you better not do anything stupid with him while he's with you. Got that? If so, we're done here. See you in bi." With that, he closes the door, and goes up the stairs to where Felix was waiting.

Felix turns as his uncle steps into the room, moving away from the window, letting the curtain fall back. He watches his uncle's movements, noticing how Lucas looked around the room. His eyes then fall to Felix himself.

"Now that you're here, I've got a few rules to set while you're staying in my house." He begins talking, and after about an hour of rule setting, and other things like that, Felix was once again alone in his room, his scrapes cleaned, a bandage on his leg. Felix sighs, flopping down on the bed, his cap covering his face. Out of all the rules, the most strict one, and the one Felix despised most, was that he couldn't leave the house without his Uncle's permission.

"I manage to get to the place I dream, get away from that prison, only to end up a prisoner here..." Tricks jumps up onto the bed, and curls up onto Felix's chest, purring. He sighs, and gently pets the cat, a frown on his lips. However, he perks up a bit when his uncle stops by the door, and tells him that Vince was going to show him around the city in a short while. But that was the only time he'd be doing something like that. Felix grins, knowing all to well there was no chance he'd pass up the chance for an adventure. Even though he had agreed to his uncle's rules.

"Which one, goddamnit?!" Vincenzo shouted, holding up the two vests to his chest -- one was a deep blue, and another had black and white vertical stripes. His vest from earlier had been thrown onto the bed, and he only wore his white button-up and black boxers.

"Hell, I dunno. Just wear what you was wearin' earlier, otherwise you'll come across as desperate, y'know?" Jimmy chuckled, grabbing the pinstripe black vest off of Vince's bed, handing it to him. "What's this dame's name anyhow?"

"Feeeeeeeeeeee....ona. Fiona," Vincenzo hesitated -- no way would he give Jimmy the satisfaction.

"Fiona, huh? Where'd you meet her at?" Jimmy inquired with a skeptical smirk.

"If you must know, I met her at the train station, when I was fetchin' Lucas's nephew, thank ya very much!" Vincenzo snapped, pulling the vest on, and buttoning it.

"Oh really," Jimmy grinned. "So, what's so special about this Fiona broad?"

"Everything!" Vince shouted, quickly tying his red tie back around his neck and pulling on his shoes, buttoning his pants as he walked out the door. "Dammit," he mumbled, quickly running back in to grab his black fedora, slipping it on his dark brown hair and catching a quick glimpse of his reflection before heading out again.

He drove through the streets and to Lucas's house, which was enormous in comparison to his two bedroom apartment. Stepping out of the car and walking to the door, he rung the bell, just a few minutes early (which was rather rare for him), taking his hat off and fixing his hair while he waited.

After his Uncle told him that'd he'd be hanging out with Vince for a bit, Felix gets up from the bed, and decides to change clothes. Taking off what he was wearing, he proceeds to put on a long sleeved white button up shirt, pushing the sleeves back a bit. Over this he puts on a brown vest, similar to the sweater he'd been wearing. Next came a pair of dark brown pants. He decides to add a brown bow tie, not tying it fully, so it hung a bit. He pulls his shoes on, and ties them.

He fixes his hair, pulling his hat on, and just as he did, he hears a car pull up, then the bell to the house rings. He grins, and goes to leave the room, Tricks follows. "Sorry Tricks, you can't come this time." She meows, and he pets her quickly, before leaving the room and going down the stairs.

His uncle had answered the door, and was talking to Vince. He couldn't make out what was being said, but when he walked over, his uncle falls silent. "Well then Vince, keep what I said in mind, or there will be hell for you to pay. Understand?" He looks to Felix next. "And you, behave yourself. Don't cause trouble for him." Felix nods. "Well then, get going. I have things to do." Lucas walks away, and goes into a room.

Felix looks at Vince and grins. "Well, hello again." He says, stepping outside the house, and closing the front door behind him. "So, whatcha gonna show me, huh?" Felix places his right hand in his pocket, the other holding a brown jacket over his shoulder.

"Well, I was thinkin' we could just go for a drive, check out some of the shops, get somethin' to eat, y'know, nothin' too special," Vince said, walking towards his car with his hands in his pockets. "Mainly I'm just gettin' ya out of that house before you have to spend the rest of your summer inside." He grinned, opening the passenger door for Felix. "But..." he said, walking around to his side of the car. "I'm sure if you convince your uncle that I'm the nicest guy on the planet, he might possibly consider lettin' you out with me again."

He got in and peeled out, driving towards downtown. "So..." he said. "Anything it particular you'd like to see? Or should we just drive around and see where fate takes us?" He glanced at Felix out of the corner of his eye, flashing a white grin, while inwardly panicking over everything Jimmy had said.

"Heh, I'll think about it. But..." Felix gets into the car, his signature playful grin on his lips. "You'll sure have to give me a reason to tell my uncle such a thing, ya know what I mean? I don't do that kinda thing, for nothin', even if it would get me outta the house." He replies to Vince's comment about how if he convinced his uncle how Vince was the nicest guy on the planet, he'd probably get to hang out with Vince again.

Even though Vince said they weren't going to do anything too special, he still looked forward to this time he was spending. The quickly leave the drive, tires squealing as they drove away. A huge grin grows on his face, and he notices that Vince kept glancing over at him. "It don't matter. I just wanna see as much as I can!" He grins back at Vince, and despite the bright smile that Vince was giving him, he could see the nervousness in his eyes.

"Ya nervous? No need old man. I'll be a good boy, I promise. Cross my heart." He chuckles softly, teasing the older male. "Unless...that's not why you're nervous? Is it somethin' else? Is it me? I dunno why you'd be nervous about me. So that can't be it." He laughs again, and begins staring out the window. A thought pops into his head, and glances over at Vince. "By the way, what were you and my uncle talkin' about?" He doubted his question would be answered, but it couldn't hurt to ask, right?

"I hardly believe that's any of your business, kiddo," Vince said with a smirk, pulling into the streetside parking lot for Luciano's Pizza. "You hungry? I doubt there was anything worth eatin' on that train, and unless Lucas made you something in the past hour, you gotta be starvin'. Besides, there ain't nothin' like good ol' Italian Chicago-style pizza!" He grinned wide, hopping out of the car and walking over to open the door for Felix.

"And you need to cut it out with the hen-pickin' and interrogatin', that's how you get yourself into some trouble on the streets. You're awfully lucky I'm a gentlemen otherwise I woulda knocked that smug smirk off your face the minute we met," he teased, he honestly couldn't remember the last time he had ever had so much fun just talking to someone. It worried him a bit, but he figured he was just being paranoid over Jimmy's lunacy.

Stepping out of the car, he pouts playfully when Vince wouldn't tell him what he and his uncle had been talking about. When the other asked if he was hungry, Felix just shrugs, before nodding to the suggestion for pizza. "By the way, old man, secrets don't make friends, remember that." He emphasizes on the 'old man' part, grinning again, shoving his hands in his pockets, having put on his jacket, leaving it unbuttoned.

When Vince speaks up again while they were walking, Felix looks over at him, trying hard to keep a straight face as he responded to the warning he'd gotten. "Who, little ol' me? I just can't help it, I'm just so curious 'n all. I mean, you can't blame me, I been cooped up my whole life! Please, protect me from them big brutes who'd hurt me cause I'm just so innocently interested in everything." He clasps his hands together in front of him, batting his eyes at Vince, before going cross eyed and sticking his tongue out at him.

Cracking up laughing, he sticks his hands in his pockets again. "And whaddaya mean you're a gentleman? A gentleman wouldn't go round threatenin' to tear holes into people, ya get me?" He kicks a rock that was in his path, sending it flying, and bouncing off a canopy over a door, bouncing back down, and then hits a man in the back of the head, causing him to whirl around and shout "Hey! Who in blazes did that?!?" Felix quickly looks at Vince, and grins. "So, uh, yeah, where's that pizza place?"

Vincenzo flicked Felix on the nose. "You think I'm playin'? I guarantee that man over there woulda ripped you in have just for that little accident. If I wasn't here, that is." He grinned cockily, although that wasn't far from the truth. Vince had a reputation. He wasn't necessarily a big guy, he was well over average height, and pretty muscular, but he wasn't so big that size alone made him scary. And, even though it was the big city, the name "Vincenzo Leoni" was known by pretty much everyone. It was widely known he had a temper, and everyone knew about all of his violent antics, because, well, he didn't really try to hide them.

He noticed the guy looking around for whoever hit him with a rock, and called out to him, waving his hand in the air. When the guy noticed, he just grinned that cocky grin, and immediately the other man turned blue in the face and hightailed it out of there. Vince turned back to Felix and smiled, holding the door open for the restaurant as the warm aroma of fresh pizza wafted out. "Shall we?"

Snorting with laughter at the man's reaction to seeing Vince, putting hands above his eyes and stares after the man, whistling a bit. "Ooowee lookit him run! Man, he moves like a cow who just got branded on the arse! Leavin' a dust trail 'n everything!" He lowers his arm, and grins at the taller male. "They really be scared a you huh? I don't see why they should be though, you ain't even that scary." He pauses, looking away, whistling a bit.

"I mean, what I'm tryin' to say is, you look mighty dandy in my opinion."

He awkwardly clears his throat, and with a sideways glance at Vince, he passes the other into the restaurant, a faint pink forming on his cheeks. The smell of the place fills his nose, and his stomach gurgles a bit. Felix reaches up and rubs the tip of his nose where Vince had flicked him, a tiny grin forming on his lips. With every passing moment, he was becoming more and more glad he'd gotten the opportunity to come to this city, to start this new adventure. And he knew, glancing back at Vince, that the adventures were only just beginning.

"Oh? Is that a fact?" Vincenzo inquired with a grin. Honestly, his confidence could take a beating and still be considered arrogant, but for some reason, that meant so much more coming from Felix. He just couldn't explain it, and he figured the sooner he stopped trying, the sooner he'd figure it out.

"You ain't half bad yourself, Felix," he said, looking the other up and down. "Which is why you gotta be careful. Someone as cute as yourself ain't guaranteed integrity from nobody." He paused for a moment. "Unless, of course, your uncle asked them to pick you up from the train station, then you should probably trust 'em with your life." He smiled that big grin again, leading Felix to a table for two.

He pulled out Felix's chair for him, which did warrant one or two strange looks, that immediately looked at something else when they realized it was Vincenzo Leoni. He half-smiled at the waitress when she brought the menus, and she left giddier than hell, hopping back to the kitchen like a bunny on speed. Turning back to Felix, he spoke again. "You got any idea what you want, kid?"
