~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
April 7, 2009 Days to Full Moon: 1 It was nearing midnight as a lone figure steps off a train that had just pulled into Iwatodai station, and begins to walk away, headphones playing music in his ears. Glancing at the clock on the station wall, it was only one more minute until midnight hit. He lowers his eyes, and continues walking, but right as he takes another step, everything just stops. "Huh?" The music that had been playing on his mp3 player pauses mid-song, and everything else around him too, lights going out so it was dark, even the street lights. However, even though a bit of confusion shows on his face for a moment glancing at a paper in his hand, he continues on as if nothing strange was happening, despite the fact that, when he walked down the street, strange coffins were laying all around, and some red liquid was on the ground. He glances up at the sky, noticing the moon had taken on a strange color and appearance, but like before, he continues on, until he was standing in front if a large stone and brick building. In his hand was a piece of paper, which he checks, before going up the steps and pushing the front door open, stepping inside, shifting the duffle bag on his shoulder. Taking a few steps forward, removing his headphones, and right when he did, a voice speaks to him, looking over, he sees a strange looking young boy behind the lobby counter, wearing grey and white striped pajamas, and was looking at him, as if he'd been expecting the other to arrive. "Your late, I've been waiting a long time for you." He makes a slip of paper in a red folder appearing on the counter in front of him, by snapping his fingers, and as he did, appeared right in front of him, gesturing at the paper. "Now if you want to proceed, please sign there. It's a contract. Don't worry, all it says is that you'll take full responsibility for your actions. You know, the usual stuff." The blue haired boy reaches over and picks up the ink pen and signs this so called contract: Makoto, Yūki and after he'd finished, the boy picks it up, making it vanish, and smiles at him. "No one can escape time. It delivers us all to the same end. You can't plug your ears or cover your eyes." He begins to vanish, saying one final thing before disappearing completely. "And so it begins." He just stares at the spot where the boy had been, standing there with his hands in his pockets, and his shoulders slumped a bit. A commotion catches his attention, and a girl appears before him, looking scared. He simply looks at her, and she was about to pull the trigger of the gun that she was pointing at him, a blank expression on his face, when another voice speaks up. "Takeba! Wait!" The girl pauses, and looks back at who spoke, and two more people appeared, one a rather sophisticated looking girl, the other was a guy. A minute passes, and music begins to play from the headphones again. hal7283
Basic information: Name: Amano Akikage (天野 明影) Nick name: Family members calls him Aki Age: 17 Birthday: September 19th Gender: Male Ethnicity: Japanese Occupation: Student of Gekkoukan High School Position: Seke, (probably more towards Uke? Will see how the role play goes.) Appearance: Height: 5' 8'' Weight: 125 lbs Skin: Pale Hair: Medium long black hair Eyes: Blue Usual Clothing: Gekkoukan High School uniform. Personality: Akikage grew up in a normal family, with his father being a salary man and his mother a normal house wife. Akikage is polite and quiet, almost to the point of being dark. He mostly preferred to stay out of the social circles in the class and stay alone. While he does not hate the company of others, and sometimes do like to socialize, something had caused him unable to open his heart to others, but he had forgotten why. His hobby is gaming and painting. Persona: Hermit (Upright: Soul-searching, introspection, being alone, inner guidance. Reversed: Isolation, loneliness, withdrawal) "Yato-no-kami" (夜刀の神) A snake deity in Japaneses folklore. They had the appearance of large snakes with horns on their head. It was said they would would destroy all those who invaded their territory. When the governor of the time wanted to turn the land into fields, he lead his forces and fought the "Yato-no-kami", who were eventually defeated and was chased into the mountains. The governor built a shrine and worshiped "Yato-no-kami" in exchange for peace in the land. The night thickens and Akikage waited in his room. He looked at the watch on his arm: the time was 11:58 pm, and his heart beat accelerated with every second passing. He looked around, he has just moved into this room at the Minatodai dormitory yesterday, and the room was still filled with many unopened paper boxes. 11:59 pm, he began to tap at the table restlessly. Many things were going through his mind, like the strange events for the past few days which lead him being “drafted” and end up moving here, like the countless questions he had regarding the whole situation, and the uneasiness he felt towards the future, and above all: a strange mix of excitement and anticipation. Of what? Akikage had no idea himself. The hands of the watch joined at 12 o’clock: the uncognizable moment between today and tomorrow. Suddenly the world changed, as if a veil was suddenly put in front of Akikage’s eyes. The hands of the watch stopped still. Akikage stood up from the chair and walked out of the hallway and up to the 4th floor, and entered a room filled with strange equipment glittering with light. A sophisticated looking gentlemen and a strong looking female greeted him as he came in. “Good evening Akikage, how are you doing?” the gentlemen asked. “Good evening Mr Ikutsuki, and Kirijo Senpai.” Akikage bowed slightly and continued: “ I’m still trying to get used to this......Dark Hour.” He looked around the room for a second and asked: “Where is Takeba?” “She is patrolling the building. There’s no telling when or where the shadows may show up.” the women called Kirijo continued: “The sooner you get used to the dark hour the better.” “Yes, Senpai.” Akikage said. He reached his right towards the gun-looking object strapped on his belt. For a while nothing notable happened. Akikage sighed in relief, then he noticed a figure moving in the monitor, he pointed at it and said: “Kirijo Senpai, look! Someone is coming!” Everyone looked at the monitor, and saw a slim figure walking into the dorm, writing on the sign up book. “He is moving in the dark hour! That means he.....” Ikutsuki said with a excited voice. “That’s the transfer student......Let’s go down, or Yukari may mistaken him with a shadow. Amano come with me.” The two went downstairs, just in time when Takeba was about to pull her “gun” out, a few moments past in silence, and the world turned back to normal. Kirijo greeted the new student and introduced herself and Takeba. Kirijo: “Your rooms is on the second floor at the end of the hallway. Amano, would you show him the way?” Akikage looked at the transfer student, he had dark blue hair, a light build, and is slightly shorter than him. But what caught Akikage’s attention the most were those blue eyes, calm and emotionless, like a lake which you could sink into. “Amano?” “Oh!..sorry." Kirijo's voice dragged him back to reality, he extended his hand:" Amano Akikage. Nice to meet you."
~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
Addressing him was a red head named Kirjio, Mitsuru, and the girl who had pulled a gun on him was introduced as Takeba, Yukari. They were talking as if nothing weird had just happened, as if he didn't just have a gun pointed in his face. Even so, Yūki shows no sign of really caring about this mishap, but instead nods in acknowledgment to what was said to him about where his room was. Then the male that Kirijo had addressed as Amano looks at him, and all Yūki did was look straight back, though the way Yūki looked to the other male, it was as if he was gazing straight through Amano, not seeing him at all. For a moment it was silent, before Kirijo speaks up, snapping Amano from his reverie, and steps closer, introducing himself, extending his hand forward to shake. Yūki reaches forth, clasping Amano's hand for a brief moment, nodding in greeting. "Makoto, Yūki. Nice to meet you too." His voice was almost lifeless, having a slight monotone sound to it, as if he was some sort of zombie. He releases the hand in his own, before shoving his hands in his pockets, and glancing at Kirijo spoke up. "I'm sure you have plenty of questions, but now's not the time. You should head to your room and get get some sleep." She turns around, and walks away, heading up a set of stairs, Take a following her, and the two girls were soon out of sight, leaving just Yūki and Amano in the lobby area, music still playing from the headphones from his mp3 player, which was on a strap around his neck. Yūki looks to the other male, waiting to be escorted to his room, the sports bag holding his things starting to get heavy on his shoulder as he stood there, as he was now feeling a bit tired, the trip having drained his energy, though the only evidence of his fatigue was the slight slackness in his face, around his eyes, cheeks, and the corner of his lips, and how he blinked slowly, his eyelids not making it to fully open. hal7283
“Follow me, I’ll take you to your room.” Akikage led the way upstairs to the second floor, and walked down the hallway He stopped at the door at the end. “Here you go, this is your room. Your stuff should already be in there, and here is your key.” Akikage put the key in Yuki’s hand: “Try not to lose the key, or you won’t hear the end of it......so I was told......” Akikage was about the leave, but he paused for a second, he asked hesitantly: “ By the way...on your way here did you see anything.......” Akikage stopped his question mid-sentence. There’s definitely something off about the boy in front of him, but then again, it wasn't his job to investigate. “.....Never mind that. Good night.” Akikage said before waving goodbye and left. Akikage returned to his room and collapsed on his bed. It’s been a few days since Akikage became aware of the “dark hour”, and he is still adjusting to it, mainly the need to stay alert and awake until midnight part. He thought of the new transfer student: Yuki Makoto, he moved in the dark hour, but seemed absolutely indifferent about it. How could one be so calm and cold about everything around him? Gradually Akikage’s consciousness began to fade. The last thing he remembered before falling to his dreams was remembering the blue of Yuki Makoto’s eyes.
