Hearing the loud crash as Piccolo fell to the floor made Nexus cringe, his sense of hearing heightened quite to the extreme, making any sound painful if it was already loud to begin with. A cold rag was pressed to Nexus' forehead softly and a soft voice soothed him, "Shh.. Don't try to move.. Piccolo went to get Dende so he could heal you..." Bardock was aiding his Fiancee, wringing out the rag before dipping it back in cool water. Minutes later, he heard shuffling and he turned tobthe door, surprised to see Goku with Dende.

 

Goku waved, trying to be quiet, "Hey.. is he alright?"

 

Dende moved closer to the bed, holding out his hands. Bright red light emitted from them and caused Nexus' body to glow slightly. Slowly the wounds healed, and tge muscle aches went away.

 

After Nexus was healed, Dende leaned over, holding a small bottle, "Drink this. Mister Popo said it would help with your headache and nausea."

Shivering at the rag upon his brow, he smiles weakly, hearing Bardock's voice. Closing his eyes again, he relaxes, or tries to as best as he could while he waited. When he hard the door opened, he was surprised to see Goku with Dende and not Piccolo, but he says nothing of it, keeping quiet. Sighing deeply and instantly regretting it, he watched as Dende crossed the room.

 

Holding still as Dende healed him, he groans softly in relief as the pain went away, his wounds healed and every single ache washed away. It felt so good, being able to breathe, and he could move his arms and legs without feeling as if they were broken into a million pieces.

 

Looking to Dende, he does what he was told, drinking whatever as in the small bottle Dende as holding. Coughing as he swallowed, he was once again filled with relief as his headache and nausea started to dull, until it was nothing more than a faint buzzing in his head.

 

"Thank you Dende. I owe you big time, you have my sincerest gratitude. Tell Mister Polo I said thank you as well." Nexus smiles gratefully at Dende, before looking over to Bardock. "Did anything happen while I was still asleep?" He slowly sits up, his back popping as he stretches his arms over his head. He felt terrible, knowing that he'd waisted half a day that could have been spent training, and taking up Bardock's, and Goku's time as well.

 

Which reminded him. "Goku, why are you here? I thought you were training with the others today?"

Bardock shook his head, smiling at Nexus as he leans over kissing him softly on the lips, "Nothing worth mentioning.."

 

Dende nodded his head softly, "I will. Believe me, I understand what you're going through. Once I reached adulthood, my chakra was making me ill and dizzy all the time."

 

Bardock glanced at Dende, "Chakra?"

 

Dende nodded again, explaining, "Our chakra is kind of like energy. We release it when we're ready to find mates."

 

Goku smiled at Nexus, "I was. But I remembered something that I think may be helpful. Piccolo is calling everyone for a meeting."

"Alright then..." He murmurs, kissing Bardock back, smiling softly at the point of contact.

 

He nods at Dende, and was just about to ask what he meant by chakra when Bardock spoke before him. Tilting his head, he listens to the explanation, making him snort with semi-sarcastic amusement, and obvious disdain to what he was thinking. "Reminds me of something back home..." he mutters to no one in particular, his voice giving away his disgust.

 

He looks to Goku, who spoke up. "Remembered something? Helpful for what exactly?" He was puzzled, just what Goku had remembered, wondering g if it had to do anything that might help with the ever nearing battle with Exodys. And at that thought, his stomach sinks, and it had nothing to do with hangovers or nausea.

 

Raising a hand, he covers his face with it. "Shit..." He mumbles, internally berating himself for forgetting something so crucial.

[Bardock]

Goku giggled excitedly, taking Nexus' arm and pulling him, "You have to come to find ou~ut!" ((Facial expression of Goku at the moment: n___n ))

 

Dende was a little confused with Nexus' snort, tilting his own head, "Did I say something wrong?"

 

Bardock shook his head, smiling softly down at Dende as he placed a hand on his head, "No. You did fine.." He followed after Goku and Nexus, curious of the look on his fiancee's face, "Something the matter, Nyx?"
