[Ariesa]

The male jumped a little when he was asked a question. He was worried about if Kyoya would try to break them up, and he didn't want that. Not at all. "Just that he was my guardian and that...," he stopped for a second. Frowning before continuing. "And that i chose the wrong person to be with me."

 

It was mean of his friend to say, if he likes Naru and wants to be with him then so be it.

"Hey.." he said turning to the boy, holding his hand o his shoulders lifting the boys face. "I don't care what thous old books or him say. I will never let anything bad happen to you. I...I love you" he said feeling a little embarrassed by saying it out loud. He really felt that way towards the boy, even if it was such a short time. He knew him for quite a while now and he could say it.

 

"So... you don't need to worry. You just need to think of me and I will be there for you. Remember?" he said pointing to his head. "I can hear your thoughts so I will come as quickly as I can to you" he smiled touching his cheeks.

Mori's eyes widened, his heart fluttering when the vampire told him he loved him. Well, he wasn't really expecting that. His face flushed pure red as he looked up at the man. Did he feel the same? Was this crush actually....love? The male kept repeating the question in his head anf keep coming up with the same answer. The blush on his face deepened when Naru told him he'll be there for him whenever he needed or thought of him.

 

Reaching up, he kissed his mate quickly on the lips before mumbling, "Love you...i love you too."

Naru was surprised hearing the boy telling he loved him. Was he really? That made him feel so happy that he could jump around if that wouldn't be to weird.

 

"I'm really happy to hear that" he said in a low voice, kissing the palm of Moris hand then hugging him tightly. It was more than he could ever wanted. Not carrying about the guardian or anybody else.

 

"Now hurry and go to work if you don't want to lose your job" he said breaking the embrace.

He smiled brightly when the vampire said he was happy. Feeling his hear flutter. But the smile turned into a pout, he didn't want to go to work right now.

 

But alas, money. "Fine," he mumbled. Going up the stairs to change into casual clothes. Why couldn't there be a snowstorm, or a blackout? He wanted to stay home with Naru.

 

Which made him think, he wanted to do something special for him. And he has some idea what.

As he waited for the boy he was thinking 9f what he read and on thw guardian. If that was true than he was the dangerous thing near Mori.

 

"One more think" he said at the end of the stairs knowing the boy will hear him. "No matter what that guarfian says to you, dont panic ok? I'm pretty sure he would do anything to see me away from you" he added.

Mori peeked his head from out of the bedroom door, pulling a hoodie over his head as he walked back down the stairs. He really was worried about what Kyoya had to say, but the vampire was right. He needs to keep a leveled head.

 

Getting down the stairs, he looked up at Naru and nodded. "Okay." Even if he was worried, he just knew he other would stay by his side no matter what. And with that thought, he couldn't help but smile.

He didnt want to ask or say anything about the boys thoughts. More than sure it would make Mori red as a tomato if he had asked. So he stood silence

 

"I'll walk you to work" he said opening the door and waithing for the boy to exit .

 

He had to dig out a little further for more informations abiut theyr bond and stuff. He couldnt let that hystory to repeat herself.

The male nodded and headed out the door with Naru, face slightly red. He never really walked with someone to anywhere that he liked. So it was a little embarrassing to say the least.

 

Mori knows he's being childish but he can't help that.

 

He tried to hide the blush by pulling the mask on and hoodie up. Despite it being slightly warm outside.

The way to work he was silent trying to figurr out what to do and what to expect next from that guardian. Mori wasnt in dangeour. He was safe with him. Or not?

 

What he didnt know, was that once the bond had happened, vampire hunters sensed the power and were heading towards the town. The bond between a vampire and a human was inimaginable strong and powerful.

Mori kept looking over at the vampire, wondering what was wrong. And at the same time, wanting to hold his hand. But mostly worried, yeah. "Are you okay," he said softly. Nudging the man.

 

"Are you still planning Kyoya's death? Or..," he trailed off. He was really worried about Naru. And because of that, he didn't notice the new faces in the town staring at them. A few guys, though a little ways behind them, following like shadows.

"Are you okay,"

 

"Yes ... Just a little carried away by my thoughts" he said smiling at the boy breathing deep, noticing that they were a few blocks away from his work.

 

"Are you still planning Kyoya's death? Or..,"

 

"What?" he started laughing. The boy was hilarious. "Even though I would love to cut his head of and drink his blood, no. I wasn't planing his death....yet" he answered making a little fun of the boy.

 

He was to distracted to feel something else around them so he didn't noticed anything.

He slowly nodded his head, a smile on his face when Naru began to laugh. He should do that more often, it was music to his ears-. His face paled as his arms started flailing ."Y-yet?! What do you mean yet? You really want to kill him that badly?!"

 

He should probably warn the guardian about this. Who so happens to always want to jump him at random times now, which scares him a little. Mori looked down at Naru's hand, shyly taking it into his. To say he cared for the vampire was an understatement, he was pretty sure it was love.

 

Someone was aiming at the boy from across the street. An arrow laced with poison. Taking out the human will weaken the vampire, well, is what the book says. It was just a theory, one he was more than willing to try. Then, he fired. A soft whistling sound getting faster towards them.

"Y-yet?! What do you mean yet? You really want to kill him that badly?!"

 

"I was only messing with you" he said smiling gently at the boy feeling his hand into his. It was so warm. It was feeling nice. Strange ... but nice.

 

As they were walking he heard a little noise that wasn't the usual. It was something like a wiesel. Turning his look on the other side, he could see the arrow that was getting near Mori.

 

"Watch out!" he shouted, pulling Mori by the hand, turning him, pointing himself in front of the boy, getting the arrow in his arm. At least the boy was safe.

 

"Are you alright?"

 

Getting out the arrow he started to look around on the other side of the ale.

 

"Hurry up and get in the shop and tell the guardian to be careful" he said looking at the boy than kissing him on the forehead preparing to chase the one that shoot.

"Don't joke like that...," he grumbled, a pout evident on his face. To say he was more worried about Naru getting in trouble for doing that instead of Kyoya dying was something he was not goinh to say. For fear of there being an argument, or he was feeding the mans ego.

 

When he was suddenly pulled, he let out a loud yelp. What was going on?! Looking over at the vampire, is eyes widened when he saw an arrow in his arm. "A..am I alright?! You have an arrow in your arm!"

 

He was looking at Naru with wide, fearful eyes. Were they being hunted? Did one of his books say that hunting vampires that weren't rogue against the council? Then again, a lot of things the books said were proven false. One prime example ; the man can walk out in the sun without getting singed or burned. Or dying.

 

"But," he started. Hating how much the kiss on his forehead threw him off track.

 

He grabbed the shirt his mate was wearing, pulling him back. "Naru, you're hurt. Please, don't go chasing whoever done this."

 

He wanted him to stay with him, where he knew he was safe.

Naru turned his head looking at the boy with narrowing eyes and after all the way in the direction when the man ran, cursing for not paying more attention.

 

"It's just a stupid arrow. I'm a vampire... remember?" he said turning to face the boy sighing, feeling a little dizzy but still managing to stay on his feet.

 

"Let's get you safe to work" he said holding his hand walking further to the shop stopping in front of the door seeing the guardian inside. "Go .... i'll be fine" he smiled gently

Mori couldn't help but frown. Yes, he is a vampire but he can still feel lain. It wasn't like he was super invincible or something. He stared up at the man, still worried more than anything.

 

Every fiber of his being screaming at him to keep Naru with jim. To keep his mate safe. But he knew the other would just keep fighting him. And that fact saddens him, because he's not strong enough to protect him.

 

Pulling down his mask, and pulling up his hood, he pressed their lips together. Kissing the man over and over again, saying between each quick kiss to be safe. To come back to him soon, to not get hurt. Every worry that was on his mind.

Naru was surprised by the courage of the little one but didn't pulled back. Instead he hold the other into his arms, kissing him back, comforting him so that he wouldn't panic that much. As it was the other was trying to keep him safe, and he on the same time was trying to do the same. They were two idiots.

 

"I'll be fine. So don't panic. This time I will let the guardian to get near you if its necessary" he said touching the boys cheek softly, laying down a few more kisses on his lips. "But not to much cause in that case i will not be responsible for my act against him. understood?" he added being serious.

Mori was embarrassed for doing this in front of a lot of people. Even if his hood was up to cover most of his face. His face was completely red, from the neck up. He nodded his head, but couldn't help but smile at the last statement the vampire made. The male knew how idiotic they were being, both of them wanting to protect the other. To keep them safe. He nuzzled up next to Naru.

 

"Naru," he said softly. "You shouldn't worry about Kyoya. I won't let him touch me like you do." Mori had to mumble the last part. Considering they were outside and everyone could see them.

 

"I love you."

"I know you wouldn't .... but doesn't know his place" he said smiling messing his hair looking at the rest people that were inside the coffee shop.

 

"Love you to, little one" he said kissing him one more time on the lips then turning and leaving him heading to the ale where the person that shut him went before Mori could stop him.

 

But, after two blocks he started to feel dizzy, real dizzy, not understanding what was happening. Than he remembered the arrow.

 

"Poison" he mumbled after he felt on the ground feeling sick and to heavy to move.

Mori wanted to stop him, despite agreeing to let him go, but he was already out of his reach. With a said expression, he walked into the café. Only to have his boss come up to him, all grins. "So who was that, Mori? A lover?"

 

Grumbling, he quickly retreated towards the back. Face flushed. Damn it, he hated the old man. But he needs to find Kyoya. He found his friend in the kitchen. "Kyoya, there's a problem!"

 

The guardian just raised an eyebrow. "Naru got shot by an arrow. I think it's hunters...,"

 

Kyoya's expression darkened. "Shit! And the idiot is by himself! Stay here!." He couldn't stop his friend either, because he ran off. What the hell?

It was all new for him. Even if he was a vampire he didn't know that they could be knocked out by some kind of poison. But what was it? It has to be something with ancient rituals or dark magic. But with him at the ground, who could protect Mori? Yes he had his guardian , but still. And one more thing. What did they want exactly from him? Why all of a sudden they started to chase after Mori? Something wasn't right. Did he missed something in the readings? No. He read all papers with precaution. No line passed him. Then why was he here?

 

All thous questions started running in his head. His body didn't want to react or to respond. It was like he became a stone statue. Did somebody saw him? Did somebody announced anybody? Nothing. All he could see was darkness, hear things but not able to react. God it was like shit!

Kyoya was wondering the streets, looking for that damn vampire Mori cared so much for. The boy was fine at the café, it was filled with guardians like him. Well, except for the boss. He wasn't sure how someone found out about those two. Did someone hear about it? Or were they now a beacon to all hunters now that they were mated? The guardian wasn't sure why exactly this was happening, but he needed to find Naru. He was positive his friend was going to worry himself into a panic attack. After a few minutes, he came across a fallen body in an alleyway. And upon further inspection, he saw it was just the man he was looking for.

 

"Seriously," he sighed. Walking over and grabbing the vampire. Dragging him to the back alleyways so no one will se them when he went back into the café. "I'm pretty sure Mori is either going to faint of punch the shit out of you for acting like you were alright. Fucking vamps and their pride."

Naru felt when somebody was pulling him on the street but was to weak to react. What kind of drug was in that arrow? Hearing the voice he could recognise the guardian, but couldnt understand why was he there to help him. Did Mori send him?

 

"I .... heard ... that " he said one word after another in slowmotion.

[Ariesa]

Kyoya smirked. "I hoped you did," he said. Dragging the vampire towards the back door. Opening with his free hand and dragging the nan into the back room where Mori sat on the table. Looking worried and nearly falling over when he saw the state his mate was in. "Naru!"

 

He ran over, helping his guardian lay the vampire on the table. "What's wrong with him? Is he going to die?" He knew he was overreacting to some degree, but he was more than worried.

 

"It's okay, Mori," Kyoya ripped up the man's shirt so he can get better access to the wound. "Whoever shot him must be a rookie hunter. This poison is so common that there are thousands of antidotes. I'll be right back."
