Ash drifted to sleep after a while, and soon enough Axel arrived at a hotel. The outside of the car was cold due to the white frozen water. A room was ordered and Axel took the liberty of carrying Ash to the room and placed him on the bed. "Is funny how you always end up in my arms" he said to the sleeping figure but quickly blushed when he thought of what he had said. After some time he took the fur ball into his arms and placed it on the bed, the fat thing made its way to its owner and laid next to it. The large bed looked comforting enough, and although sleep wasn't really something Axel needed his body did. Stretching himself into the bed, for the second time in his life now, he closed his eyes and allowed the soft darkness of the room take him. Key-Tokki Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 A young ashton whined softly before falling back against the picnic blanket he was laying on and looked up at the stars that he was currently laying under. A small girl about his size was sitting next to him as well, noticing her friends boredom she spoke, "Ashie, you have to pay attention or you are going to miss it! Mommy said that there was goign to be a metour shower, if you make a wish maybe it will work like a shooting star even!" the young girl exclaimed before climbing to her feet and dancing around in the field of grass that there picnic blanket had currently been laying on. Sighing in annoyance he pushing himself into a sitting position and rubbed his eyes sleepily, just wanting to go home and go back to sleep. However the girls excited yell brought him to focus upwards and his eyes widen as he watched what he thought looked like a shooting star fly across the sky, "Make a wish, ashie make a wish!" He heard her yell and so he did, closing his eyes he wished. One day, I want someone to take me far away from here. Ashtons eyes shot open and he shot up in bed, hearing an annoyed mewl from his cat he glanced over to see it curled up at the feet of someone else. Frowning in confusion he looked beside him to see Axel laid out beside him, his face was peaceful and calm and the sight alone was enough to make Ashton smile softly. Just a dream then, or a dream of a memory. His mind wondered back to the girl who had been his childhood friend and he remembered that night had been the last time he ever saw her again. Glancing out of the curtains he could see a gray light filtering through, yawning wide he climbed out of the bed and went over to brush them open slightly. It had snowed all through the night and there was at least two feet of snow on the road at this point, they were going to have to becareful. Reaching down he checked and was relieved to see his wallet still in his pocket before digging his hands in his pockets and making his way outsie, where the wind instantly smacked him in the face. It only took him about an hour to find a store and pick up the things like food he needed, and he picked up a few winter coats for the two and a small child sized one that he was going to fit on the cat, the mere idea of it cracked him up. Making his way back to the hotel room with bags of items and two cups of coffee in tow he knocked onthe door, feelign bad for probably waking the other but he had forgotten his room key. His eyes opened to a soft glowing room the bed warm but the room slightly cold. Getting up he ran to the bathroom grabbing a towel on his way. The warm water embraced his body and made him slightly shiver. His hair falling over his eyes and soap now covered his body. "I could get use to this warmth" he murmured before getting our and drying, placing the towel around him waist he walked into the room after hearing a knock. His attention feel on the door and softly but steady he walked towards it. Far to well away that anyone could have followed them. His wrapped around the door knob and cracked the door open. "Oh its you" he said as he opened the door completely to reveal himself, towel being the only coverage. "Its cold where did you go?" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Key-Tokki Posted February 21, 2015 Share Posted February 21, 2015 Ashtons cheeks immediately flared up, his eyes widened slightly as well when he came face to face with an extremely revealed Axel. His eyes flicked down to the others lips, automatically he could feel himself being drawn towards them. Before he could do something stupid he jumped back slightly, taking a moment to collect himself he held the coffee up in front of his face, blushing brightly. The coffee was all but shaking in his hands, shoving his way past the other and into the room, he set the cups down on the table and dropped the many bags he had on the ground unceremoniously. "I figured we were going to need new stuff for the trip and I do not know about you but I have to eat. Plus it is freezing and I don't want either of us to get sick, you aren't from here so your immune system might not be able to handel the infections here, or the germs and stuff, you know?" He spoke as he reached into one of the large bags and pulled out a coat for the other one to wear, and one for himself as well. Then he pulled out some cough medicine, and some warm soup and a few other things he thought were important. Pulling out the cats new coat, he pulled Nia over and slide it on her, Nia was a bit to fat for the thing but it would do it's job, dispite how displeased she looked at having to wear it. Turning his attention back to the other he reached over and held up one of the two coffees, "Oh, and I brought you a coffee, it's a warm drink we use here for energy, it might be a bit sweet, I added a lot of hazelnut creamer. Since I did not know how you liked yours I just made it like mine." Ashton hopped the other had not noticed his blushing fit that had occured in the hallway, not wanting to have to explain anything to the foreign being as he jsut stood there holding out the peace offering of coffee. alexia__ Posted February 21, 2015 Author Share Posted February 21, 2015 Nodding Axel let Ash in and closed the door behind, he headed to the far corner of the room and removed the tower, soon he had boxers and jeans on "Good call, where we are going we will need them" he said as he reached for clean socks and a pair of snow boots. The sweaters were nice and large, made from the material wool? which could keep Ash warm. As for Axel his body was slightly more tolerant to the temperature but they had to mix with the rest. "Remind me to give you some leather gloves I have, you will need them also" Axel biceps fleeced slightly as he reached up to put a black turtle neck sweater on. He then added the sweater and a large scarf. "How do I look? Human?" He asked slightly, his eyes concentrated on the others face. Remembering about the drink he reached for it and placed it on his lips and slightly coughed after taking a sip "What a peculiar taste" he told the other as he proceeded to drink more. Key-Tokki Posted February 21, 2015 Share Posted February 21, 2015 Ash physically sighed in relief as he noted that the man did not seem to notice his flustered face in the door way, smiling to himself he picked up the bags and set them on the bed before he began to sort them. The cat was busy waddlnig around in her new coat, it limited her mobility so much that she ended up toppling off the bed, after shooing her owner an angry look she stalked off to the corner to sit in a huff which only caused Ashton to laugh softly at the immaturity of it. Hearing the one behind him speak he stopped what he was doing for a moment and turned around, eyes widening slightly. The man seemed ethereal and beautiful anyway, but in the new clothes he looked like something that had been plucked right out of a magizine model. He really was just amazing to look at, feeling a familiar flush to his cheeks Ashton quickly turned back around to continue doing the sorting, not wanting to face Axel right now as he spoke, "You look great, I think you looking normal is a bit impossible, but at least you should be able to blend in" He spoke softly before turning back around and lightly sitting back again the bed. To his happy surprise, Axel did not immediately spit out the drink, which he thought might be a bit sweet for the other. Ears perking slightly at the mans comment he turned around beside him and picked up a bag before laying out the items on the table, there was instant rice, a thermostat, ramen, and various other small foods that could be eaten as they traveled. "This is all I could really find, want to try one? Ramen or rice are both traditional here," The blonde stated, pointing to the two packages seperatly. I'll let you surprise me with this because...." before he could finish his sentence a loud angry sound interrupted him. Eyes widening Axel looked down at his stomach as if it was some living thing demanding attention. To his surprise he found that he was hungrier than expect, quickly he looked at the others face and became embarrassed. "I-I..." he said quickly looking for an excuse "I'm not use to consuming food so I'm not sure when to eat" The excuse was ridiculous, of course one ate when they were hungry, but the embarrassment was beyond anything. Turning away Axel felt a blush that reflected in the tip of his ears. "Get on with it" he murmured as his hand tries it's best to cover up his mouth and side cheek. Key-Tokki Posted February 24, 2015 Share Posted February 24, 2015 Ashton's eyes widened slightly as he notably jumped back a bit, the sudden and aggressive growl that sounded from the others stomach evidently shocking them both. The blonde simply stared at the other before he found he could no longer hold it in, and burst out into laughter. Axel had probably been hungry for a while but since the idea of food and hunger had been so foreign to him he had not even realized, the man could practically have starved to death without realizing there was something amiss. It took Ash a few minute to collect himself as he reached over and picked up one of the ramen bowls before walking over to the small microwave that was located in the room, quickly filling it up with water to the line that was directed he stuck it in and set it to heat for a few minutes. Breaking open a pair of chop sticks, he collected the bowl and made his way back over to the other, a notable smile was spread over his face as he though, Does someone from his plane even know how to use chopsticks? Thinking back to all the foreigners that he had seen try and fail at the art of chop sticks, make him extremely intrigued to see how the other was going to handle the challenge. "Here, try this one, can you eat it or should I go find something easier for you to pick up the noodles with?" There was a hint of tease in the blondes voice. alexia__ Posted February 24, 2015 Author Share Posted February 24, 2015 Noting the teasing tone of the other boy, Axel flashed him a look "Do not mock me human" he responding, himself joking as he reached for the cup. The utensil was somewhat of a longer metal instrument that went on to divide into three smaller sections. The yellow noodles wrapped around it, and Axel did a circle like motion and got them to hang. Slowly he lifted it to his mouth and took a handful into his mouth. "This is very delicious" he said as more of the noodles were consumed, the heat of the cup not being a problem. Axel finished way before Ash did, but patiently he waited and at some point his attention was directed to his tablet. The thing controlled some of the ships monitors and controls, allowing on-the-go access. The he found himself checking the facility where the next specimen was being held. At some corner in the room the cat began to purr bringing Axel's attention to the small fur ball. Quickly an ideal ran through him. "Ah...Ash?" he asked, approaching the question very delicately "mind if I ...borrowed your cat as a carrier for something..." The fact that Ash could say made Axel hold back on explaining the whole process of it, his own 'pet' Soul was locked away somewhere in the ship. Although communication could be made it wasn't very useful without a body to be placed into. The idea of inserting Soul into Ash's cat had come to him while the animal slept on his legs the previous night, at one point he had wanted to no ask but now Axel had realized that having SOul around would be a max help. The procedure was simple, a small cut would be made on the back of the cats head, and then Soul would slip into the organism this way, allowing it to take procession of the body. It was all better than one imagined but if it wasn't Ash's cat, then he would have to hunt around for a cat or a dog to put Soul into. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Key-Tokki Posted February 24, 2015 Share Posted February 24, 2015 Ashton watched the other, more than slightly disappointed that the man managed to eat the food without any problem at all. He did not exactly want to admit it to himself, but it would really have been hilarious if the other had needed Ash to show him how. Nodding to himself, he turned and began to carefully load the extra food back into a bag, trying his best to make sure that it would all fit. However, Axels question brought him to a bit of an alarm. Glancing over his shoulder at the other, he gave him a wary look before glancing over at Nia who was contently playing with a small ball of lent in the corner. Turning back around he crossed his arms before leaning back against the table, looking over the foriegn being that was currently in front of him. If he said no, it was not like the other couldn't just take the cat by force, the image of what Axel had done to those men earlier flashed through his mind. Something about Axel's demeanor however, had the human convienced that this person would not take or harm his cat without asking. After a few moments of silent thought, he pushed himself off of the table he was leaning against and walked over to where Nia was purring contently before reaching down and plucking her into his arms, making note of the fact that she severely needed to diet at some point or another. "So, what are you planning to do with her? Considering the fact that I wanted you to go all the way back to my house to get he should show how important she is." There was a hint of edge in his voice, he trusted the man, he had saved his life and vice versa after all, but he wanted the other to know that the cat was important to him. The alien did not have pets like humans did, so Ashton assumed that the other really did not know how important the small, furry companions could be to a person. "The procedure is simple, and the reason why too" he stated as he began to sketch something on the paper "I need your cat as a carrier to one of my own..um pets" he said as he hands Ash the picture he had drawn "this is Soul, they are very intelligent creatures, which will be extremely important for this mission. But" said Axel as he looked into Ash's eyes "they can't go on and about without a host. Pulling out one of the simple chairs, he sat in it and leaned forward so that he could see what the other was scribbling. He listened silently, however the more he heard the more he seemed to pale, only after the man had finished did he glance over at Nia, who was laying on her back, enjoying herself as she watched the fan swirl on the ceiling above her. Looking from her, to the picture he now held in his hands his stomach turned slightly. He had agreed to help the alien, but did that mean that his cat really needed to be dragged into it. However uncomfortable he was with it at first, when he looked back to see Axel smiling at him, he knew that he had no other choice. Sighing softly he nodded and set the sketch back on the table. "Alright, she's just a normal cat so no one would suspect her anyway, better than going around looking for another animal, we have probably wasted to much time here as it is." Reaching up he drug a lengthy hand through his hair before looking Axel directly in the eyes, "Alright, let's do it, we need to get out of here anyway, there probably looking for you and me both." They soon packed everything they needed and checked out of the hotel. Axel had used a fake identity that he had created for himself in case he needed to stay in hotel or give his information out in anyway. The ship itself was not too far away from where they had stayed and the taller boy finally began to relax once they were inside it. Running to the computer he opened up a few of the maps where they were heading and glanced over at Ash who, once again, was standing awkwardly in the corner of the white room. "Come with me I will show you around" he said as he walked over to the boy and tapped him on the shoulder. Axel showed him where the rooms where, mainly the larger one which was not in use, and told him that was to be his, the showers and bathroom followed and lastly the control room. He couldn't help but feel guilty, it wasn't really his place to bring an innocent cat into the mess he had gotten himself into. Still, as long as she was going to be alright, then no harm done right? He didn't exactly trust the alien yet, but the guy had done nothing to give him any reason to distrust him, he'd even saved his life. To Ashton, the other seemed less like an alien and more like a foreigner, that is until he glanced at the paper that showed what they were going to be doing to his cat. With a dejected sigh, he helped the other gather up the rest of the things before following him out of the hotel. On the bright side, at least the damn snow had stopped. He couldn't help but admit how out of place he felt in the ship, as soon as they got inside he had set the cat down and watched her lazily flop right onto the floor for a nap. "What a lazy bum." He murmured towards her, though his tone was playful as he gave her a smile. Ash couldn't help but be a bit surprised by the lack of crazy, alien-like things on the ship. It certainly wasn't a human ship, but it was nothing like what one assume a space ship from planet would be like. Still, a smile crossed his face at the idea of it. A planet that he had not yet been to, but was going to visit as soon as he helped Axel out. "Well, what's our next move? Inserting your think into my cat?" He asked, crossing his arms and leaning against a wall, watching the other. At this point he was all but aching to get on with this adventure. A large silver box was carried out and placed on the floor. An oval shaped item was removed and two scalpels. A pair or gloves followed and Axel put them on. His eyes widened at the scapel and he couldn't help but give the man a wary look before replying. "Different how? You said it was easy, it would go in then could come out when your finished with you? You said she would be fine?" His tone was almost accusatory, it almost felt like he was being dooped at this point. Maybe it really would have been better for him to have left his pet at home. Taking a step back, his hands tightened on the gloves slightly. For all he knew, this alien was lying to him about everything, and was here to hurt his kind, or even destroy them. The image of the of the guards that had kidnapped him hitting the ground earlier flashed through his mind and he almost vomited. No, this wasn't how his new adventure was supposed to go. Not at all. alexia__ Posted March 14, 2015 Author Share Posted March 14, 2015 Axel gave Ash a funny look "Well I know eye color will change, it will become blue and well....your cat might talk" he said almost as if he, himself, couldn't believe it "That's all I can say anything else will be normal" By the tone emerging from Ash, Axel could tell that the human was on defense, and who wouldn't be. Sighing he stood up and came close to the smaller boy. His hand landed on the others tense shoulder "Its okay" he whispered "I am not the enemy" his voice came as reassuring and Axel hoped the other believed him. Though he was pretty sure his cat wouldn't have much to say other than feed me you idiot human. That made him laugh at least, his grip on the gloves loosening slightly. As for the eye color he really did not care, as long as she would be alright after words then that was really the only thing he was concerned with. He glanced down at the others hand on his shoulder, and a smile spread over his lips. The others touch was always so warm. I am not the enemy. Well, he was the enemy, or humans were. Even if humans were in the wrong, was he really prepared to go against his own species? Well, he had plenty of time to make a final decision after all. Smiling over at Axel he nodded, "Alright, i'm ready. Let's do it." Stepping back, he gave the alien some room to move so that he could follow, ready to help however he could. alexia__ Posted March 14, 2015 Author Share Posted March 14, 2015 Axel walked to where the creature hand rolled and positioned itself, softly he picked it up and gave a signal to Ash to follow. The room they entered was light blue, which was completely different from the rest of the ship "This is where everything medical will be found, keep that in mind in case you ever find yourself needed it" The smaller animal was placed in a large bed with a cover, Axel reached for a small spray and sprayed it on the cats face. "She will sleep soon" he said, and soon enough the ball of fur slept soundlessly. With his fingers he located the back of the animals head "I will cut here and insert the other" he told Ash to ease away any worries. The small cut revealed a soft amount of blood but soon enough it stopped, reaching for the oval like case, Axel opened it to reveal a small creature. Barely large enough to fit in a human hand, it released a bright light and its small hair like body moves softly in the air. Slowly Axel placed it next tot he cut and slowly it make its way inside the animal. "Now it will connect to the brain". Almost as if magic the wound closed, a paw moved but the cat remained asleep.
