It's the year 2230, and many things have changed. There was a time when each country was divided up due to race and religion, with Americans, Europeans, Asians and so on. However, in the year 2060, everything changed. Vampires came to light, the news spread across the media like wild fire, and because of how well that went over, were wolves came out next, then spirits, gods, demons, and many other entities follwoed suit as well. However now the humans were not the top of the food chain, which was the first time it had ever been globally known to be the case. So the fighting began, between humans and every other creature who all wanted to assert there dominance. So leaders from every race got together and spread out the map, allowing each race there own company to rule as they saw fit. A race could go into anothers country but it was always at ones own risk.

Natsume was born on the small island once known as hawaii, which is now the country for all small spirits like him. He grew up in a small little town, and enjoyed the life he led with his friends, however his skills for the piano were well known. So a sponcer from what was once known as Russia offered to give him a free place to stay as well as food and allowance, if he agreed to be his private piano player whenever needed. He would have his own house and be well set, since he had been sheltered from the previous war he had no diea of te dangers that could await him, so he agreed. Little did he know that on his travels he was going to make a friend, and many enemies.

Bio:

Was born in a small town in the mountains of the country that was once Russia. He moved to a larger city when he was 17 to go to university. He never made many friends because he usually kept to himself and ended up starting to write erotic books to help pay his way through college. He goes by a pen name but doesn't exactly hide his profession. His books are fairly popular in the genre but he isn't rich. He never paid much attention to politics or the war that was going on, there always seemed to be some kind of war going on so he just ignored all of it.

Natsumi let out a loud yawn as his whiskers adjusted themselves, padding his way to the back of the large van he was in he propped himself up against the door so that he could look outside of the window. His eyes went wide as he took in the vast scenery around him, white, everything was so beautiful and white. Moutains could be seen in the distance, moutains covered in trees and trees covered in snow. Where the young fox was from was an area once known as Hawaii, it was a hot climate year round so before now he had never even seen snow except for on the telecommunication system. For his last birthday his uncle who he had bee nstaying with had played a series of snow flakes on the hologram projector so it was like he was in a real snow storm however he had not been able to feel it.

Even the projection was not as cool as this was though, it was like an entire blanket of solid white was layered across everything in site. Natsumi had been picked up from his small island an air shuttle all the way to the land once known as Russia, where he had landed at a Shuttle Port and been quickly escorted into a van, now on his way to his new home. The cold weather had hit him so har that he had immediatly shifted into his fox form as soon as he had gotten into the van, hoping his fur could keep him warmer than his measly clothing could. However the more time that past the more the scenery outside began to get crowded with houses and buildings, going from a terran of pure nature to suburb until finally all out city. He had been shocked when he had stepped out of the shuttle and come face to face with the race of this country, they were beautiful creatures that he had never seen up close before. There were stories abotu how much the two races hated each other but the young fox had no desire to be anything but thrilled at the opportunity he was being given, no one ever got the chance he was getting.

"Oi, Mizakari, Sir, we are about to arrive to your new house. Would you mind changing back, and getting dressed, you will attract enough attention as it is without showing up like that." The driver stated in a kind tone, he was merely looking out for the boy, not wanting to cause any more comotion than they had to. Nodding slowly, the fox let out and excited bush of his tail befroe stretching out his paws and shifting back to his other form which was now naked. Quickly he puleld on his mesely clothing that he had worn and leaned back in his seat. Not being used to the cold weather meant he had certainly not brougth the right clothing and it was clear he was going to be at a serious disadvantage with the weather here.

As soon as the car pulled to a stop, he watched as the two men in the front seat climbed out of the van and his ears perked a bit as he heard the clang that menat his door was about to open. A wide smile spread over his face in excitement at what was about to happen, however that quickly spread to a look of annoyance as the freezing wind slapped him right in the face, causing him to shift back towards the van and away from the outside. Only after the driver basically pulled him from the car did he step foot in the snow,, which to his surprise crunched and seemed to compact under his feet. After a few formalities, he found himself standing inside of his newhome, which was not huge but was much larger than one person needed at all. Tehre were three bedrooms, a huge living room wit ha back patio, a large fireplace and two bathrooms with huge baths in them.

"Alright, we will leave you for today, go ahead and get settled in, and remember, your safety is of the Earls up most concern after all he has spent to get you here, so please keep out of trouble." The driver said before turning and leaving with the other man. Natsume had not been alone for more than 20 minutes before he was already shivering from the cold, going threw his luggage to his dismay, he foudn that he really did not have anything warm enough and his fingers were going numb quickly. Running around the hosue he tried to find anything that he could use, but they had not thought about it so there was nothing. He began to worry abotu freezing to death, reaching down and takign out his phone he noted that is was -3 degrees outside and cringed. Knowing what he had to do, he stomped to the front door and tugged it open, cursing softly as the wind once again slammed him in the face, his ears twitched in annoyance before he stepped out into the cold air and turned towards the closest house to him, his new neighbor. Stipping and strugglign he landed face down in the snow at least three times before he made it to the other persons house, he needed to ask for some help or someone like him would really freeze. Covered in snow and looking utterly miserable, keeping his tail as close to him as possible because the fur on it was already starting to freeze, he reached up and knocked on the door.

Rityn lay on the floor, trying to fight off a horrible headache. His friends at university had been bugging him all day about his new neighbor. Apparently a non-native was moving in to the empty house next door, and everyone who had heard about it was either angry or curious. Most of his kind were huge nationalists and hated the idea of any other species moving into their territory. But some of the younger students were just curious about what other species were like. Rityn just didn't care either way, he would be happy as long as his new neighbor was quiet.

The young man got up and took a few painkillers to make the headache go away. He was about to sit down again to wait for the medication to kick in when he head a knock on his door. Rityn considered just ignoring it until the person went away. After a moment he decided to get up. He grabbed his thick wool coat and slipped it on to protect him from the harsh winter air.

Rityn slowly opened the door, his ears flattening at the sudden wave of cold air. He narrowed his eyes at the unfamiliar face. For a moment he thought it might be a door to door sales man, but he quickly realized that the person at his door was severely under-dressed for the weather. "What the hell are you doing out like that?" He snapped, grabbing the stranger's arm and yanking him inside. People could easily freeze to death if they went outside without proper clothing in that weather. "Don't you have any common sense?" He quickly shut the door and grabbed the other man's hands, examining his fingers for any sign of frostbite.

Natsumi's eyes widened slightly, even though he could barely see with the fallign snow and harsh wind, when the other person opened the door he was awestruck. The creature was absolutely beautiful, the people of this land where beautiful to look at in general, they looked powerful, almost etheral, while his people were most known for looking cute in the let me hug you type of way with there larger eyes and feminine features. He knew he must have looked like an idiot just standing there staring at the other, however luckily the other seemed to have more common sense than he did as he felt himself suddenly yanked inside.

The instant heat he felt on his face made him want to simply melt, his eyes had waterered so hard that the tears had frozen to his eyes lashes. The warm air had seemingly shocked him otu of reality for a moment while he greatfulyl adjusted to it, watching the other examine his finger tips he just stood there silently, a slight blush rising to his cheeks at the sudden contact of a stranger, though he chose to blame the sudden warmth against his freezing cheeks. He had finally warmed up enough that his body had kick started and he began to shiver, violently, his tail had been practically frozen in place so now it was wiping around quickly, trying to get the circulation to flow once again. However the tip of his left index finger lookd a bit to blue for his liking, and his lips were also tainted a pale purple as well. His was a pianist, his fingers were everything, if he did not get them fixed, then he would have come here for nothing.

Tears began to fill his eyes but he refused to cry in front of someone he jsut met, he was not a child after all. Closing his eyes for a moment he let out a low sigh before calming down and looking back to the man, hoping to explain himself. "I'm sorry, but I just moved here, and was not exactly prepared for how cold it was so was wondering if you had any extra clothes, or maybe something warm to drink if it is not to much of an inconvience." His words were calm until he glanced down at his fingers that he could barely move because they were so numb, once again feeling water on his eyes he struggled to keep himself composed as he continued. "I'm a pianist, that's why they brought me here, if my fingers don't work properly they might send me back, or worse, jsut leave me here."Natsume spoke, it was clear in his voice that he was close to loosing it, this was certainly not how he wanted to arrive.

The sight of the stranger's furry tail made Rityn jump slightly, but he quickly realized that he must be the outsider that was moving in. He quickly refocused on the boy's blue fingers and lips, it didn't look too bad... "Yeah, that makes sense... No one in their right mind would be outside in that" He keeled down and tugged the other's shoes off. "Come on, let's get you in a warm bath... That'll keep your hands from getting damaged"

He had seen much worse when people got caught outside in snow storms. Once he got the boy's shoes off he pulled him towards the bathroom. "It doesn't look like there's any permanent damage, but warm water'll just make sure that nothing happens..." He opened the door to his bathroom which had a huge bathtub that looked more like a hot tub. It was made extra large so that Rityn's people could fit their large snake-tails in the water. He finally let go of his new neighbor and went over to the tub. The young man turned the water on a medium temperature, knowing that if that water was too hot it would do damage to the cold skin. "Just put your clothes on the floor, they're probably all wet from snow... I can just lend you some of mine until you get some warmer ones"

Natsumi glanced away sheepishly, feeling like an idiot for not thinking about dressing warmer or bringing any better clothes with him. Thinking back to the house he remembered how empty and bared it had been, everythign had been white and pristine, probably trying to look elegant however it only gave off a cold feel to him and he had ever lived alone before. So despite how uncomfortable the current situation was, it still seemed better than being over there by himself. He let out a low sneeze and followed after the other, noticing how warm the mans skin felt on his own he subcontiously moved closer to him so he could walk beside him instead of be tugged.

He gapped at the large bath tub in the middle of the room, remembering how his house also had a large one he figured it must be a custom here, maybe it was always cold so they enjoyed a good warm bath often. Standing ackwardly Natsume's tail wrapped up around himself so that he could hug it to him while he watched his new neighbor run a bath for him. As a fox he was used to shiftign from one form to another, and when that happened the clothes were dropped, so he would be naked when he changed back, meaning for his kind naked was not as embaressing. As soon as the bath was prepared, without even waiting for the other to properly leave the room he began to shakily remove his clothing, trying to speak while he did so, "I'm sorry about the trouble, I was jsut really unprepared. Iwill figure out how to pay you back for your kindness I swear." It was his best attempt to be polite, his kind were generally friendly and bubbly, however he was freezing and miserable and the steaming bath water just looking to amazing to prolong any further. The moment the last of his clothing was off he murmured a quick "Thank you, excuse me." Then immediately shifted forms and jumped straight into the water, splashing lightly, the huge tub making him look even smaller in comparison. Natsume did not spend much time in his fox form but figured he would rather the stranger see him like that, than completely naked as a human.

Rityn watched as the boy turned into a fox and jumped into the tub. It was strange to see, but he realized that it was probably a lot less strange than his own other form. "Right.. Well, I'm Rityn so just call if you need anything... I'll go find some warm clothes that I can lend you" He quickly left the room, not even waiting for a reply. He closed the door behind himself and took a deep breath, his cheeks flushing as he thought of just how much he wanted to pick up the little fox and snuggle it.

He shook his head to get rid of the idea and hurried to his bedroom. Rityn pulled a couple boxes of old clothes out of his closet and started to look through them, picking out the warmest clothes. He wondered if the other had a heater in his house, most houses came with one but the fox might not know how it use it. Rityn pulled his own coat off and set it down on the bed before moving on to find some warm blankets to give his new neighbor. He'd have to ask about the heater, and maybe go over to show him how to use it. The young man packed everything in a a bag, only leaving out some clothes for the other to change into. He walked back to the bathroom and knocked on the door. "Hey, I'm leaving clothes out here. Do you want some dinner?" he called through the door.

Natsumi allowed himself to just kind of soak for a while, it did not take him long at all to warm up so once he did he wanted to just stay in the warm water forever. He had never been that cold before, once when he was a child he accidently got locked in a freezer for a little while but even that had not been that bad, at least in the freezer there was no punching wind. Allowing his tail to swish in the water lightly he watched the steam continue to rise from the water, reaching up he put his nose against the side of the tub to discover that he seeed to be emitting heat as well. A heated bathtub? I wonder if mine does that as well. He thought curiously as he continued to observe the others bathroom, the Rittyn had literally welcomed him with open arms, something he was of course hoping for but did not exactly expect.

Hearing a knock on the door his ears perked as he looked back over at it, with a sad sigh he shifte back to his human form but stayed low in the water, wanting to bask in it as long as possible. His kind could not speak when they were a fox so he had no choice but to shift back. Hearing the mans request he put a hand to his stomach, normally he would have been poliet and tole him not to worry about it, however he had no idea if they remembered to stock his pantry and even if they did the food here was likely different so he would have no idea how to cook anything. Reaching up to run a slick hand through his hair he called out to the man on the other side, "I'm sorry, but yes please. I'm not sure if I have anything at my hosue so I would really appriciate it, sorry!" Waiting until the foot steps subsided, he leaned back and glanced to the side, seeing that other had some soap, he quickly lathered up, then finding what he assumed was shampoo he washed his hair and tail before trudging out of the bath. Picking up the towel tht was left for him he quickly began to pat himself dry bfore rubbing in circular motions on his hair to dry it as well, if he left it to wet he would probably catch a cold. Leaning against the door he pressed his ear to it for a moment to listen, making sure he could not hear the other close by before shooting outand picking up the clothign that was left for him. Holding it up he felt how warm and soft the fabric was and instantly held it to his face. It smells nice. He thought silently before quickly pulling on the garments, the pants fit well, however the upper garments were a bit large. they were extremely warm though so he was certainly not going to complain. Feeling much better than he had in a while, he listened closely to where the other was and made his way i nthe direction he heart something rattle. "Must be in the kitchen," He murmured softly before sure enough, rounding a corner to find the other man, immediately he spoke, not wanting there to be ackward silence between the two. "Thank you so much, i'm extremely sorry. My allowance should be dropped off soon so I can actually go out and buy some new clothing, I really had no idea it got this cold outside." glancing down at hsi now warm and rosy fingers he asked, "They told me at the shuttle port that it is pretty much always cold and snowy here, is that true?" Natsume was hopeful for a good answer but knew that the man at the airport was probably right and he would liekly be freezing many days in the future.

Rityn walked back to the kitchen trying to think of what would be best to feed his new neighbor. A lot of his people's foods were considered strange to foreigners, things like deep fried turkey giblets or goat's meat cooked inside a goat's stomach. Because of the harsh climate his people had to use as much of each animal as possible and many of their foods were very fatty.

He decided on just making a simple stew, hopefully the other would like it and it would help him warm up some more. The young man set to work cooking, his mind wandering to the boy in his bathtub. He realized that he had never asked where the other moved from. His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the boy's voice. He almost dropped the spoon in his hand in surprise, but quickly regained his composure. "It's really no problem, those aren't clothes that I usually wear anyway..." He shrugged and tasted a bit of the stew, it tasted fine to him... He filled a different spoon with the broth and a piece of meat. "here, try this" he lightly blew on the spoon to cool it before holding it out for the other.

"It isn't always snowy... June and July are usually just a bit cloudy, sometimes there's a bit of sun... It never gets above 10C" Rityn sighed and looked over at the other. "I'm guessing it got a lot warmer where you're from. Otherwise you wouldn't have come with such ridiculous clothing"

Natsumi glanced around at the kitchen and noted all the ingredients that were currently laid out, most of it was in a language that he could not read. While he had been taught the language of the land verbally, he had not taken the time to sit down and actually learn all of the proper writing, so he could not even read the labels. Thinking on it now, there were probably alot of things he should have researched properly before coming here, he had everything he was goingto need, or at least thought he did, so had not really put in much thought after that. With a low sigh he was begining to realize how childish his choice was to come here without even a second thought.

Moving slowly, his trail swaying contently back and fourth as he did, he made his way closer to Rityn, so that he could take the bite off of the spoon. Natsumi had always been a picky eater ever since he was achild, he hated most meat, anything that was to heavy, anything with the slightest bit of greece, however the stew was wonderful. His eyes widened slightly as he took a step even closer to the other and put his head over the simmering pot of stew, looking directly down into it and sniffing the air lightly. "This is actually really amazing, we don't have this kind of stuff where I am from. We don't actually cook all that much, mostly it's organic foods. Do you eat this kind of stuff often?" He started to question the other however got side tracke remembering how cold the man said it stayed, ears visably drooping as he figured he was never going to be able to go outside without freezing.

Sighing to himself he leaned against the wall and nodded solemly, "They call my country the summer country, we never get snow, and it is usually warm there, we swim year around and everything." Glancing out the window at the snow he added, "The polar opposite from here, actually." Crossing his arms over his chest he brought his full attention to Rityn, noting the mans beautiful tail he could not help but smile, it looked so different from anything he had ever seen before, it almost made him want to reach out and touch it. "I'm Natsumi, sorry for not giving you a proper introduction, that was extremely rude. The Earl from this district hired me to be his personal pianist, it's my first day, I actually just arrived so definetly still getting my bearings." He finished before giving an apologetic smile to the other.

"I'm glad it tastes okay... I forgot to ask what kind of food you like" Rityn pulled two bowls out of the cupboard. "I've never been swimming... If you tried to go swimming outside around here you'd die in just a couple minutes" he began to fill the dishes up with stew. "My name is Rityn, and it's fine that you didn't introduce yourself. I didn't give you much of a chance."

"There are a lot of different foods here, especially since it's a pretty big city. So you'll be able to eat pretty much whatever you want" He set the bowls down on the table along with some utensils. "Although I have to warn you that it'd be a horrible idea for you to go to any small family run stores or really anywhere without a lot of people. Some of the people who live around here really hate outsiders and might give you some problems" He sighed and sat down. "They'll probably just yell at you, but if you end up in some back alley with one of them then it could get physical..." He looked over at Natsumi. "Go ahead and sit down. Sorry if I scared you... If you ever feel worried about going out somewhere then I might be able to go with you..." he shrugged and took a bite of meat.

Natsumi found himself way to close to the other man was he tried to dish out the dishes, it had been the first time he had been so close so one of the foreigners tales, and he had to admit they seemed very different from his own. He glanced from the others snake like one, that seemed to almsot glint and gleam when it moves, back to his own tail, which was not impressive in the least. Rityn's tail almost seemed powerful, important, while his just felt like a ball of fluff that was attached to him, he swept his tail behind him in annoyance at it's lack of elegance and made his way over to the table, quietly settling himself onto it while he listened to the others words of warning.

Leaning over his food, he pulled it closer to himself and allowed both of his hands to rest around the warm bowl, enjoying the warm sensation against his finger tips and the smell that wafted upwards into his face from it. It the fox a few minutes to respond, he remembered before he came, that his old childhood friend had warmed him that there was tales of foreigners eating intruders, killing them and stringing them up, torchering them, and much worse. He had even made Natsumi promise to give him his collection of shells if he died, it had all been a joke between friends, and they had both laughed it out, however there was a hint of a serious tone beneath it, almost as though it was a warning. Should I really have come here? The words whispered threw the snowy haired boys mind, as he took a bite of his food, his gaze once again rising to the other before he responded, "I don't know why it would be such a problem, I don't think I am hurting anyone, in fact judging off how tough they look, I don't think I could even if I wanted to." The idea of it getting physical did scare him a bit, he had never been in a physical fight and the idea of getting punched anywhere make him extremely wary to even leave him house. Despite not wanting to bring to much trouble on his new neighbor, he had a sinking feeling he was going to need the man pretty often if he wanted to remain unscathed through this experience. "You didn't scare me," He finally responded, "It's good I have someone here to warn me, you won't get into any trouble or anything with your friends for helping me out will you?"His question was clearly full of worry towards the other, though Rityn clearly looked like he could handle himself, Natsume didn't want to bring him any trouble, well more so than he already had.

"You're not hurting anyone, but that doesn't mean people are going to like you" Rityn sighed and leaned on the edge of the table. "My friends aren't going to be weird about it... I don't spend time with assholes" he kept eating his soup, slowly wrapping his tail around the legs of his chair. He wasn't really good at talking but he didn't want to just sit there awkwardly. Usually he would spend time with larger groups of people, so he wasn't used to holding up a conversation on his own.

"Uh... So you said you're here to play piano for some guy, right? You must be really talented if he flew you all the way here..." His ears flattened to his head as he tried to think of something else to say. The young man filled his mouth with food to avoid saying anything else before he had time to properly think things through.

Natsume glanced down at his own stew, using his spoon to pickily swirl around its contense as he listened to the other. He knew people here might not like him, he was foreign after all, however still couldn't understand the reasoning. No matter what species you were, you were alive, you had feelings, desires, dreams, he was no different. He had things he wanted to accomplish in life, things he was afraid of, he had hurt people, people had hurt him. Just because someone looked or spoke a bit differently did not mean they deserved to be treated any differently. At least his new neighbor seemed to be a down to earth person, as long as he could make one friend while he was here, then things would not be all that bad.

His ears perked slightly at the others question, "Talented?" Sitting back in his chair he thought about it, there was no denying he was talented. However he was only good at somber, almost sad songs, anything upbeat and preppy he found hard to put his heart into, though he had never exactly figured out why. How talented could a person really be, if they were only good at one thing? His over all demeanor dropped slightly as he leaned forward, putting his head on his hand as he continued to peer into his bowl. "Who knows," He finally answered before readjusting himself and mowing over the topic, smiling up at this new neighbor he spoke. "Maybe, it really wasn't the best idea for me to come here?" Letting out a low laugh, he continued to stir his stew, tail drooping moodily.

Rityn frowned as he noticed the other pushing the food around with his spoon. "You don't have to eat it if you don't like it..." He muttered, looking down at his own bowl. "Maybe you're right, it might have been a horrible idea to come here... But I think it's too soon to decide that" He picked up his bowl and drank down the rest of his stew.

"This could end up being the best experience of your life, or the worse..." He shrugged and stood up. "You'll just have to wait and find out" he brought his dish to the sink and began to wash it. "Let me know when you're done, I'll wash your dish too..." The young man's tail lazily moved to slip under the oven where it was still a bit warm. He didn't really mind if people were being negative, but it usually seemed like a complete waste of energy. He sighed softly, wondering if Natsume was going to end up leaving soon. Not that it really mattered either way...

Natsume's eyes widened slightly as he watched the other stand and make his way over to the sink. At the mans comment he quickly began to eat his food, not wanting to seem picky or ungreatful, and while he was actually pick the food Rityn had made for him was really good so he did not dislike it. However he found that he had little appetite, feeling like the cold weather had shaken him dry and left him worn out, even after the warmth he had received after.

He only managed a few more bites until he felt his stomach churn slightly, and a hand rose to his mouth automatically. In his care package, there was a warning that stated his body would need time to adjust to the different weather and temperature here. So he was likely going to get a bit sick his first week here, that is why he was not scheduled to meet with his new boss for a few days. They wanted to make sure he could be at his best when performing. However he had not assumed it would happen so quickly, but now he knew for sure he was already catching the cold. Reaching up he put a hand to his head and could tell through his cold fingers that he had a fever. He could feel pounding begin in the back ofhis head and laid his head down on the table, trying to gather the energy to finish his soup. Out of the corner of his eye, he noted the others tail and smiled softly, it was seeking warmth he wanted to reach out and touch it. Before he even knew it, he found his hand extended towards it, looking his balence he fell out of the chair and crashed to the floor.

Rityn jumped at the sound of Natsume falling off the chair. He quickly set the bowl down and rushed to the other man. "Natsume? What's wrong?" He pulled the other into his arms, looking for something wrong. He gently touched his forehead, gasping at the heat. "Fuck... You have a horrible fever..." he muttered.

He didn't even hesitate before gathering Natsume up in his arms and carrying him to his bedroom. He didn't know how dangerous it could be for Natsume's kind to have a fever, but for his people a fever was extremely serious. "Do you need me to call you an ambulance?" He asked, setting him down in his own bed and tucking him in. "I can call one for you right now..." he said, completely serious.

Natsume felt the cool floor against his warm cheek and allowed his eyes to drift shut for a moment. He wanted to just fall asleep right here, right now, but somewhere in the back of his mind he heard his name. Someone was speaking to him? Wanting nothing more than to get some rest he tried to ignore the calling voice, only when he felt the floor dissapear below him and all of his weight shift against a warm surface did he open his eyes again. He was laying against Rityns chest and being carried, not having to move at all, a small smile played across his face as he felt the others warmth seeping into him.

It was almost a disappointment to be set down, though he welcomed the extremely soft mattress below him, he clearly preferred the others arms which were emitting heat to him. His ears were low as he sunk back into the bed and felt the covers around him tighten slightly. Almost allowing his eyes to close for a moment again but the others voice kept him in reality. It was a bit of a struggle to properly string together the words the other was saying however he manged to match them up. Shaking his head slowly he looked up at the worried eyes of what he now considered his first friend here. The soft, sleepy smile that resembled what a child would look like if it's mother were tucking him in never left his lips as he responded. "No, i'll be fine. I can just sleep it off." With a second thought he added, "Had to happen sometime." Reaching up, he took ahold of the other mans shirt with one hand, looking at him seriously for a moment. "If you call someone it could bring my new boss trouble, so please Rityn." The serious tone was gone in an instant however, then he added, "Sorry, I was trying to touch your tail." Before his eyes became to heavy and he finally let them shut, his hand falling back to the bed with a soft thump.

"My tail?" Rityn glanced down at his scaly tail with a frown. "why...?" He sighed and stood up. If Natsume didn't want him to call an ambulance then he wouldn't, but that didn't stop him from worrying about the other. He turned on the heater in his room and sat down on the edge of the bed with his laptop, planning to work until his new neighbor woke up. He didn't want to leave the other alone for even a moment in case he woke up and needed something. Rityn absentmindedly slipped his tail under the covers as he typed, letting it curl around one of Natsume's wrists. He waited quietly for the other to wake up, wanting to give him as much time to rest as possible.

Natsume slept for a good three and a half hours before he finally stirred, groaning softly as he felt himself drug bag into reality. All he knew was that he felt so warm, and so safe, that he did not even want to open his eyes. Shifting slightly, he felt an unusual weight on his wrist, it was not unpleasant, in fact he felt like the texture was kind of soothing. Parting his eyes, he opened them slowly, letting out a low sound of annoyance as the unwanted light filtered in. Glancing to the side, he saw the figure beside him, and a soft, confused smile spread over his face. He was not actually sure how he came to be in the others bed, and he could tell it was the mans bed based off of the smell alone. It was a pleasment smell, everyone had there own scents, and his people were good at picking up on them. Only then did he realize that the thing currently curled around his wrist, was the others tail. Ah, I was reaching for his tale and fell. He recalled, a bit more relaxed that he at least managed to gather his wits about him. Sitting up slowly he let out a low yawn, running a hand through his hair before he spoke sleepily, "I'm sorry, I think I was really worn out," Glancing around the room his ears which were slightly dropped parked slightly, taking in his surroundings.

Rityn glanced over from his laptop when he noticed the other stirring. "You seem to be pretty sick... Just rest" He lightly used his tail to push Natsume back down. "You should sleep here tonight, tomorrow morning we can go to your house and make sure you have food and a working heater..." He typed a couple of lines before closing his laptop and setting it aside. His bedroom, like most of his house, was pretty empty except for bookshelves full of books. "I can sleep on the couch if it'd weird you out to share a bed..." He yawned softly and stretched, pulling his tail back to wrap around himself.

Natsume laid back in the bed without any protest, the other was right, though he no longer felt a sickening feeling, he still felt extremely worn from the journey. Reaching up he pulled the covers up around his shoulders and turned back over on his side, pressing his face into the pillow gently as he murmured out, already half asleep. "It's your bed, there is no way I would keep you from it." With a second thought, he added, "I'm really sorry to intrude so much." AS he lazily moved over slightly in the bed, which he had managed to writh his way to the center of in his sleep. As soon as he was certain that he had given Rityn enough space he closed his eyes again. Almost immiedietly feeling himself being lulled back to sleep by the warmth and comfort, he made a mental note to do something nice for Rityn in return for all that was done for him.

"It's really no problem..." Rityn sighed, flipping off the lamp off. "just try to get some rest..." He lay down and pull the covers up to his neck. "Night..." He murmured before closing his eyes. He had already been exhausted from class and then having to help Natsume had taken up even more of his energy. The young man curled up into a ball, wrapping his tail around himself to keep warm. He fell asleep just a few minutes later, hugging himself tightly.

Natsume let his eyes shut as well, but only slept for a few hours before waking restlessly. Letting out a long yawn, he sat up and rubbed his eyes before stretching out. Glancing down, he saw the sound asleep Rityn and it really was a sight to see, the man looked so peaceful and content as he breathed out evenly. Usually he would have gotten out of bed and taken a look around, but didn't want to risk waking the other up. Quietly he laid back down and pulled up the covers, falling back asleep, he automatically rolled towards Rityn in his sleep, seeking a source of warmth. His arm fell half over the others chest and his face laid right beside his neighbors shoulder.
