How To Train Your Saiyan ((Key-Tokki and Bardock 18+))

[Key-Tokki]

Azure was a bit taken off guard when he was hoisted up, a slight flush spreading over his cheeks as he automatically leaned into the mans chest. He had gotten little sleep last night, and even less the night before so he was extremely worn out. The soft, warmth that he could feel emitting from the other somehow made him feel safe enough to let his eyes close. Even if the trip only took a few minutes, he thoroughly enjoyed it. Only after his feet were on the ground once again did he realize he hadn't even gotten to loose at the scenery, and make a point to do that when they returned.

 

Pulling his hood tighter around his face as the wind smacked him in the face, he considered for a minute. "I have to pick up a few winter things, and some medical herbs since the physition at the palace can't make runs down here right now. I get sick often in the winter so need to make sure to properly take care of myself. I sent a few things down here for the orphanage as well a week ago, and want to make sure they all got here safely. If you see anything you want at all, don't hesitate to ask. You don't exactly get a payment weekly, so whenever you need something just ask." Giving Bardock a simple smile, he turned and made his way towards the large building known as the cities orphanage.

[Bardock]

Bardock looked around, following Azure towards the building. He looked up, staring at yhe large red building and he let out a breath before he righted himself. He'd noticed this building before, but never got curious enough to go inside. Bardock stayed close, looking around again, "So.. what kind of things did you send here? Do you send things often? What does this.. orphanage do?"

[Key-Tokki]

He couldn't help bit stand, shocked at the others comment. Did he really not know what an orphanage was? "Um, let me see. It's a place where abandoned children go, they are taken care of until they can be put into proper families. It costs a lot to keep it running though, so when I can I try and send over any food or clothes or some toys or just whatever we can. I'm sure the kids are getting cold so I try and stop by this time." He spoke as he walked up to the door, and the moment he did, it swung open and a small child ran out and jumped, face first into Azure's chest. Catching him off guard, the two toppled back in the snow with the small blonde haired boy atop the princes chest, grinning.

[Bardock]

Bardock was shocked when this kid jumped on Azure and before he could stop himself, he reached down, lifting this kid off Azure with one hand. He held onto the back of this kids pants, easily listing him up, "Prince Azure, are you alright?"

 

Bardock glanced at the kid, lifting him so he was face to face with him. "Why did you attack Prince Azure?"

[Key-Tokki]

Azure let out a laugh as the child grinned at him but stopped when the weight was suddenly removed, looking up to see the kid practically dangling in mid air. "Wait, wait Bardock put him down!" He was trying to sound forceful, he it came out wit ha few laughs, he couldn't keep his voice even enough, it was just such a humorious sight. To see a big buff and tough guard, holding a wide eyed kid, seeming thoroughly confused. He covered his mouth as he found it to hard and let out another laugh, the child kicked in the air slightly, the grin returning to his face again.

 

"You can lift me up with one hand! Ain't even breaken a sweat Sir!" The kids eyes looked at Bardock in admiration before he used his current position in the air to pat Bardock's cheek. "Protecting Prinze Asure, good scary guard." Azure finally managed to control his laughing fit. Brushing the snow off of himself, he stepped forward and reached up, detangling Bardocks iron grip on the child as he corrected the kid. "It's Is not, not ain't, and it's breaking, not breaken." Turning his attention back to Bardock he tried to explain. "He wasn't attacking me, he's an exceptionally clingy boy. He loves hugs and knew I was coming so probably was waiting for me." Though he managed to control his laughter, an amused smile was still evident on his face.

[Bardock]

Bardock shook his head from the pat and then raised an eyebrow, "That's right, I'm scary." But he set the kid down, allowing Azure to pry the kid out of his grasp. He replaced his arms over his chest before glancing at Azure, then back at the kid, "Name's Bardock, kid. Don't call me 'Sir'."

[Key-Tokki]

The child simply went right from Bardocks grip to once again put a death grip around Azures legs. "Alright alright Simon. I just need to go check on the supplies really quick then I have to go, why don't you go tell the others I am here?" He suggested then watched the kid dissapear behind the door.turning to Bardock he spoke, "We have about 20 minutes before he finds everyone and then I have a horde of children climbing on me, let's hurry before that happens." Letting out another laugh he stepped through the now open door, the place was by no means the palace. There was a bit of tape holding some leaks in the cieling togehter, and some toys scattered about, but over all it had a warm surrounding to it. He led Bardock through the dinning area to the kitchen, where children were scattered about, laughign and playing with eachother.

[Bardock]

Bardock looked around, eyeing the tape holding things together, the toys threw about, the unwashed dishes in the sink. Then his eyes looked to the children playing, smiles on their faces. Bardock rarely let it show, but kids were a huge soft spot in his heart. When he entered, it was not like he thought it was going to be.

 

"They all.. are happy.." Bardock said, while following Azure. His eyes softened slightly, "You are popular with the kids. You like kids?"

[Key-Tokki]

Azure glanced over at the other before reaching up to adjust his hood before answering, "I think so, there a bit clingy at times, but there just so innocent and pure. Most people spend there lives looking for happiness, and with a child you could give them a cheap cookie or something and they are over the moon with joy. There just simple." Scratching his cheek lightly, he pushed open a door and stepped into the kitchen. A large, round women looked over at the door and yelled, "You know not to come in the kit-, Azure! Sire, excuse me I had no idea!" She exclaimed, wiping her hands on her apron before giving a polite bow. "Good morning Ms. Darett, I was coming to see if the inventory I sent all made it?" Her eyes brightened slightly as she nodded, reaching behind her to pick up a pan of cookies. "Oh, yes Sir. All the food has already been recorded and put away, the ingridients you sent for the childs birthdya hve been set aside for a cake, and the toys have already been distributed. Would you boys care for a cookie?" She asked, holding the tray towards the both.

[Bardock]

Bardock stared at this woman, plump and round. Then he eyed the tray of.. what were they? Cookies? Bardock picked one up, noticing that this one had blackish brown little circles in with the... cookie. Bardock leaned over, whispering to Azure so as to not hurt the woman's feelings, "Does it always look like this?" Now getting more comfortable of his surroundings, his tail unwound from his waist and loosely waved freely.

[Key-Tokki]

Azure had already taken one, he had not eaten anything that morning so was starving. Taking a bite out of his, he heard the other whisper and nearly spit his out in laughter. Clearly his throat as he composed himself he watched her set the tray down and begin to get out large tubs of some kind of dough, smiling all the while. Leaning over to Bardock he couldn't even try to hide his amusement. "Yes, Bardock. It's a cookie, there sweet, usually like a desert. Chocolete chip are classic and she makes them better than even the cook up at the castle. Just try one, "He watched Bardock, excited to see how the Saiyan would react to one of his favorite foods.

[Bardock]

Bardock sniffed the cookie. It smelled alright. He took a bite, chewing for a moment, and when the chocolate and cookie mixed, he blinked, "Wow.. it's.. different. But good, different." He started to take another bite when he suddenly froze as two small hands clasped onto his tail. He dropped the cookie and spun around, seeing a young girl, barely the age of two, petting the soft fur on his tail.

 

Bardock's face flushed slightly, eyeing the little girl with big brown eyes and brown curls. She looked up at him, giving a soft, squealish laugh, "Kitty!!"

 

Bardock sighed softly, smiling before leaning over and picking her up. She willingly lifted her arms up, laughing again, "Kitty!!"

[Key-Tokki]

Azure took another bite of his own, before looking down to watch a girl grab onto his tail, and yet again he almost choked on his food because he started laughing so hard. Setting down his own cookie, he crossed his arms and leaned back against the counter behind him so that he could watch. He half expected the guard to simply with draw his tail and step away from her, but when he picked her up his eyes widened slightly in surprise before a soft smile spread over his face, So the Saiyan also has a soft spot for kids. He mused to himself, now glad that he had brought the other here. "That's Aria," He spoke to Bardock, watching the girl smile widely at Bardock, her eyes excited. "Aria, you know you shouldn't be in the kitchen. " the light but scolding voice of the cook spoke towards the girl.

[Bardock]

"Aria.." he smiled again, allowing her name to roll off the tip of his tongue. He raised his tail, placing it in front of her. She giggled again, reaching for it. Herb eyes then turned to Azure and she pouted. "Zuzu, kitty." She played with Bardock's hair softly, "Kitty, aaaaaaahhhhh." She opened her mouth wide, pointing to it.

 

Bardock chuckled, taking a cookie and giving it to her, "Go play. Kitty will see you again."

 

He watched her go, smiling as he turned back around. Then, he looked up, realizing he was being stared at, "So she calls me 'Kitty'. So what?" He felt the heat of a blush forming on his face.

[Key-Tokki]

Azure didn't even try to bring the smile off his face as he simply shook his head at the other, "Oh, nothing, nothing at all. It's not amusing at all to see the big bad Saiyan reduced to 'kitty' by a little girl." He teased lightly, turning towards the door and calling out to the chef, "Alright well I'll be leaving now then, make sure you go all out on that party." He instructed, waving his hand before heading back out of the building. He stopped however when he noticed a small stall with a few items in the table, one of them appeard to be a 3D textured map of the Saiyans home land. Leaning back he called over to Bardock and pointed at it. "Hey, did you want this for your room or anything?"

[Bardock]

Bardock blushed again, lowering his head a little, "She's two. You never correct a baby."

 

Upon leaving, Bardock stops. His hand reaches up, touching the 3D map. He thought about home.. where Gene was, taking care of the home only after fighting by his side. She might have been just a Saiyan woman, but she always could pack a mean punch. Just thinking about her.. almost made him wish he were there.

 

But his mind then remembered Toma. He bared his teeth slightly, infuriated all over again. Not anymore because he was there, but because of how Toma quickly betrayed him. Is that how his friendship would be reduced to?

 

Bardock turned away, "Thank you.. but no. We should get the items you need before it gets colder. I can't have you getting ill before the ceremony later."

[Key-Tokki]

Azure could see the sudden change in the others face, he went from almost warm and thoughtful, to cold and bitter. Glancing down at it, he nodded quietly, figuring it best not to press the issue. Turning away from the small stand, he made his way over to another nearby stand that had a many different herbs. Looking around, he picked out a few that he thought would make a good tea for him and his guard. "Alright, I think that is all for today," He spoke, turning towarsd Bardock but stopping when something caught his eye. Walking around his guard, he reached over and picked up a small necklace that had a crystal bird on it. "It might be a bit delicate for a kid but she would probably like it." He murmured, before paying for the small trinket and tucking it in his pocket. "Ready to get going?"

[Bardock]

Bardock watched Azure as he picked the few herbs and then paid for the small trinket. However, Bardock's eyes wandered as Azure paid and his eyes fell upon another small trinket. This one was also a necklace, but it had a light blue fox on the end.

 

Bardock picked up the necklace, eyeing it for a few minutes before he turned to Azure, "Prince Azure.. when is your birthday?"

[Key-Tokki]

Azure glanced up at the other as the large bag was handed to him, filled to the brim with different spices and leaves that the shop owner decided would probably be good for the young prince along with the simple necklace. "My birthday?" He repeated, caught off guard by the random question. Quiet for a moment he actually had to think for a moment before he had an answer.

 

"Ah, it's in December, on christmas actually, why?" He asked curiously, looking over at Bardock for an answer.

[Bardock]

"What do you like?" Bardock was still holding the necklace in his hands, but all the while his eyes never left Azure. He wanted to get something for the Prince. Something he would like a lot. "Do you like this?" He showed the necklace to Azure.

[Key-Tokki]

Azure was more than surprised at the others quick change, he glanced from Badrocks eyes down to the necklace then back. "Yes? It's certainly a pretty little thing?" He mused a bit confused still, stepping towards the other he shifted the bag so that he could reach up and feel the others forehead. "Are you feeling okay?" He teased, laughing.

[Bardock]

Bardock lowered his hands, a blush coming over his cheeks as he handed the necklace back to the jeweler. He nods softly, "I am fine. I apologize for keeping you. You are ready to go?"

[Key-Tokki]

Azure nodded, laughing still at the other. He had noticed how the other had grabbed the necklace, then seemed to change moods. So he turned to the Jeweler and pointed at it, "And that too please." The jeweler nodded before putting it in a soft, cloth bag and handing it to the prince, who turned to Bardock and held it out for him. "You wanted this, right?"

[Bardock]

Bardock took the bag, then took the necklace out of the bag and he unclasped it, "I did.. for you." He then wrapped the jewelry around Azure's neck, clasping the thin chain together. He fingered the small blue fox, smiling softly, "It looks good on you.. do you like it?"

[Key-Tokki]

Azure's eyes widened slightly in surprise as he watched the guard put the necklace on him, he reminded him of a gentle giant. Reaching up, he touched it carefully before forgetting both of there positions and wrapping his arms around the large guard and hugging him gently. "Thank you, I can't rememeber the last time someone who was actually my friend chose to get me something. Really, Bardock, thank you." He added, before reaching up to take hold of the necklacee again, holding it in his palm.
