Dragon Ball Z: Between Two Worlds (SPOILERS, +18, MA?)

The moment the phone was put into speaker mode, Nexus pays full attention, and answers right away. He couldn't stop his voice from shaking, but despite that, he did his best to answer the question to his fullest ability, trying to remember and not leave anything out. Sadly, at that particular moment, his memory wasn't at it's greatest, so he was pretty sure that he'd left a few details out.

 

"Gynoxyz, is, well, he's the God of Xeros. You thought Exodys was powerful? Well, compared to him, Gynoxyz is a powerhouse. Legend says, he was the one who CREATED Xeros. As for why he was looking at Rexyl...there really isn't much I can think of, except for the fact that he'd been denied a soul...When we Xerothuan's die, our souls are returned to Gynoxyz, so...yeah."

 

Pausing, he thinks a bit. Why would the almighty god of Xeros even be here? "Keeping an eye...no doubt...none at all, that it is probably both Rexyl and I. We both denied him souls, and not to mention we're both kinda...unstable..." He blushes at the comment about himself, but shakes his head.

 

"That's all I can think of. But for now, don't let Rexyl out of your sight, no matter what. Okay?"

[Bardock]

Goku nods his head, looking over at Rexyl, "He never is. We're leaving. To a place only few of us know about. I'll call you when we get there." Goku hangs up the phone right after, looking towards Rexyl. His heart sunk, and it took everything he had to not break down. He knew deep inside that if it came down to it, Goku would fight. And he would lose. He can't protect Rexyl.. but he'd die trying. He finally moved, hugging Rexyl and pulling him close, "Thank you, Raj."

 

Raj nodded, taking a drag of the cigarette, "No problem.. so, where you going?"

 

"I can't tell you.." Goku shook his head, "But I think it'd be best if you came with us."

 

Raj looked shocked, "Wh-What? Dude.." he shook his head, "Its abandonment.. I'll lose my job.."

 

"If you stay, you may lose your life. Which do you prefer?"

 

Raj was quiet a moment, then he nodded, "Suddenly losing my job doesn't sound so bad.."

 

Bardock was quiet for several minutes before he finally spoke, "I want you to be honest with me. Is my son and Rexyl in danger, Nyx?"

"Right. Be careful, stay safe. Remember, if Rexyl gets hurt, you'll pay the price." And that wasn't just a threat. It was a promise. And no doubt Goku knew that quite well. The call ends, and Nexus sighs, settling against the pillow behind his back, closing his eyes. Things were about to get crazy and interesting once again. In Nexus' opinion...it was way too soon.

 

Rexyl watched as Goku hung up, quiet as he sat there, smoke from Raj's cigarette wafting around him , though it didn't touch him at all, due to the fact his own wind pushing it aside and past. He was surprised when he was suddenly pulled into a close embrace by Goku. What was wrong? He, Rexyl, had finally calmed down, but now, seeing Goku like this, made him tense up once more. Even so, he hugged the other back, enjoying being so close.

 

"Why...why are we leaving? What about the others? What about Nyx?" He asks, looking up at Goku's face, confusion in his eyes.

 

Opening his eyes, Nexus looks at Bardock, a blank expression upon his face, unreadable. "In all honesty....? I don't know. Gynoxyz is a God, you never know what he'll do...but...I doubt they will be in any real danger...I just don't know. Gynoxyz isn't known for being too violent, but when he DOES get mad..." Nexus shudders, shaking his head, as if remembering a bad memory. "I don't even wanna THINK about it..."

 

He sighs again, running his hand across his face. "What else is going to go wrong? I'd rather have my ass groped a million times by Yamcha than deal with this...ugh..."

[Bardock]

Goku looked to Rexyl, "Nyx will be fine. I'm sure Piccolo will tell him and Bardock where we are going. But we"re leaving because I don't want Gynoxyz to find you." He leaned over, picking Rexyl up again beforr he looked to Raj, "Do you remember everything I taught you?"

 

Raj laughed, tossing away the cigarette, "Are you kidding? How do you think I GET to work?" A few seconds later he was floating in the air, "Should I meet you somewhere? I'll need a few things from my home."

 

Goku rose into the air as well, nodding, "We'll meet at the park in half an hour. Will that be enough time?"

 

"Yeah. It only takes five minutes to fly home." Raj waved a hand, "I'll see you soon." Then he turns and takes off in the opposite direction.

 

Goku waits a few minutes before he turns and speeds off as well, "I'm sorry for uprooting you, Rexyl. But you're MY responsibility and I won't let anything happen to you."

 

Bardock looked over at Nexus, nodding even though it was clear that his head was somewhere else. He thought about the predicament, and what a way out would be, "No serious danger? There's a God out there, and if it were me who were screwed out of two souls, I'd be pissed off.. wouldn't you?"

 

Piccolo had closed his eyes, listening to both Bardock and Nexus before his eyes opened again.

 

Bardock sighed, his hands clasped together, "I don't even know where they're going.. how can we help if we can't find them?"

 

Piccolo raised his head, the look on his face was as if he remembered something crucial, "I know where they're going."

Rexyl found himself once more in Goku's arms, and in the air, all thoughts of buying groceries having disappeared from their minds. He was slightly relieved when he was told that Nyx was going to be fine, as he trusted Goku's words, and everything that he was told by the other. However, why this all was happening, he had no clue, and he wished to know exactly what was going on. Such things made him feel nervous and insecure, but being with someone he felt safe with made it a little bit better.

 

They leave soon, having made arrangements to meet up with Raj in half an hour at the park. As they sped through the air, he presses close against Goku, hearing the words said to him. Hearing Goku's apology, but Rexyl just shakes his head. "Do not worry. I really...do not mind...I feel safe with you, and I would rather this happen than stay where it is not safe."

 

He holds onto the front of Goku's shirt with one of his hands, partly closing his eyes, enjoying the breeze that he felt against his skin. "By the way...are we going to be stopping to get anything?"

 

Nexus just shrugs. "I would be, but this is Genoxyz we're talking about. And he's confusing as hell. One moment he could be smiling, all buddy buddy with you, then next moment you'll find his hand sticking out of your chest, with your heart clutched in his fingers. Unstable as a drunk man on a pogo stick if you ask me..."

 

His eyes flit over and settle on Piccolo as the Nemekian spoke up. "You do? Well that's good...Is it REALLY safe?" He asks, knowing that both Piccolo and Bardock knew just how protective of Rexyl he was. And knew that the threats he made to Goku if he didn't take care of Rexyl weren't just threats. Nexus would actually do the things he'd said he would. "Because if that damn Goku doesn't take care of Rexyl, you just might be ending up with a son missing a few limbs..." He looks to Bardock, smirking.

[Bardock]

Piccolo was thinking to himself, and he nodded, "It's... secluded, that's for sure. Only me, Krillen, Yamcha, and Goku know exactly where it is. However..."

 

"What?" Bardock clenched his teeth together, fearing he can't stand to hear more bad news, "However... what?"

 

Piccolo fell silent for a few moments, then he sighed, "We've... had enemies find us there before... they read our energies and tracked us down."

 

Bardock let out a laugh, his hand rubbing his face as he rubbed both eyelids, "This is such fucking shit..." he sighed as well, "It's all for nothing, isn't it? If we fight, we die.. if we refuse to give him what he wants, we die.. if we run.. we die."

 

"We don't know if Gynoxyz is here to be hostile or not. Maybe I should speak with him. Until then, I do know that the Hyperbolic Time room hides our energies." Piccolo thought again.

 

Bardock shook his head, "No, no, please not that room again. I'm STILL getting sick from the time difference."

 

"You have another idea?" Piccolo's voice wasn't condescending. Upon hearing Nexus, Piccolo turns to him, "Nyx.. you know that Goku would die for Rexyl, right? Do you know what's going on in his mind right now? The fact that he knows that if Gynoxyz demands Rexyl, he would be prepared to fight. But the only difference this time, is that he knows he'd lose. So, with all due respect, cut him a little slack. While Goku's alive, Rexyl will not be harmed." He turned his head away, "A God is among us and he's more scared of YOU than him.."

 

Goku held Rexyl close then landed suddenly, setting Rexyl down to speak, "Rexyl.. there's something I need to say.." He paused when he looked into the younger males face, and for a minute, he said nothing.

 

'No, dammit.. you have to say it.. don't treat him like a child!'

 

"Rexyl, if Gynoxyz wants to fight, I won't make it.. But I want you to know that I died fighting for you. And if I do, die, I mean, then remember these instructions." He took Rrxyl's hands in his, "First, you'll need to find Trunks. He's Vegeta's son. Then, find Goten. They're both the fastest. With their help, you'll need to locate all seven Dragonballs. They're orange in color, and each ball has a number of stars on them, ranging one to seven. Find them all, snd when you do, you put them on the ground and say 'Arise, Shenron'." He paused again, sliding a hand to cup Rexyl's face, "Remember that, it's very important. The person who asks Shenron to rise, is you. If you don't say it, Shenron won't grant your wish. When Shenron comes out, he's going to look scary, but it's only because he's big, okay? He'll ask you what your wish is. Then.. and only then, you're able to ask him to grant me my life again. Do you understand?"

Nexus remains silent, not saying anything as the two other men spoke, resting his eyes as he lay back onto the pillow a bit more, sighing softly. Why couldn't things just remain calm for a little bit longer? Why did things always have to happen, one situation after another? It hadn't even been a month yet since the whole incident with Exodys and him getting killed! And now, they had to deal with Gynoxyz, the most powerful God of Xeros? And probably the universe, since there were several things that he had left out from the others, not wanting them to freak out anymore than they already have.

 

"That's good. I say what I do because Rexyl is pretty much the only good thing that has ever happened to me back on Xeros. I'm not saying I don't trust Goku, in fact, he's the one I trust the MOST with Rexyl." Gritting his teeth, he sighs loudly, not really wanting to admit that fact. But knowing that Goku was more afraid of HIM, than a God, was pretty funny.

 

Opening his eyes again, he looks at the other two. "Also, I...don't think Gynoxyz is here to fight. He doesn't kill without reason. But I know one thing..."

 

He pauses, looking hard at the others. "He is definitely here for SOMETHING. What it is, I don't know yet." A frown forms on his lips as he closes his eyes again, racking his mind as he tried to think of what exactly Gynoxyz could want.

 

For some reason, they stop flying, and land somewhere. Rexyl looks up into Goku's eyes, tilting his head, wondering just what this was all about. Even after Goku said there was something he needed to tell Rexyl, all that followed was silence. He was about to ask what it was that the other wanted to say, when the Saiyan spoke up.

 

His eyes widen at what he was told, confusion and a slight refusal to believe what he was hearing appearing in expression. "Wh-why would you say that? I mean, you are not going to die, right? You can not! You can not leave me! NO!" His eyebrows press together with worry, and tears form. "You...you are joking right? This is just a funny joke?" He frowns, staring at Goku, but knew that this wasn't some kind of trick. Goku was being for real.

 

"No...you can not. You promised Goku-nii. You promised you would not hurt me. If you died...that would hurt the most..." He places his hand over his heart, tears now threatening to fall. "It will hurt me right here..." But even so, after a moment, he sighs and nods. "But yes...I understand Goku-nii." Hearing about these Dragonballs sparked a memory, but it was faded, so Rexyl says nothing. He just hoped that it wouldn't have to be done, those instructions that were given to him by Goku. He didn't want things to go bad.

[Bardock]

Piccolo seemed as if he wasn't listening for a moment, and then he raised his eyes, "Peace to Earth.."

 

Bardock looked up, slightly confused at Piccolo's response, "What?"

 

Piccolo said nothing for a moment. But that look in his eyes didn't fade, "I have to go." He turned to leave, walking towards the door.

 

"What?? Wait a minute!!" Bardock glared at Piccolo when he stopped right at the front door, "Don't you talk in riddles and leave us!! What are you thinking?? Tell me!"

 

Piccolo hesitated, standing there for a few minutes. Then he sighed, "Alright.." he turned around, "It's... true."

 

Bardock rose an eyebrow, glancing at Nexus, "What's true?"

 

Piccolo groaned, holding a hand over his face as his cheeks turned purple, a sign he was blushing, "Damn it, I can't believe I'm actually saying this." He sighed again, running a hand over the back of his neck as he fought for the words to say, "Fun fact: every Nemekian is born a male."

 

"Yeeeaaahhh?" Bardock spoke slowly, carefully.

 

"And.. well-uhm.. Nemekian babies are... born.. SOMEHOW.."

 

"Okay..."

 

"Do I really have to spell it out for you, dammit?!" Piccolo's face flushed even more, "God.. okay, why do you think I never let you be on top?!"

 

Bardock tilted his head and then his eyes go wide, "OH!! I knew it!! Oh my god, it's true??"

 

Piccolo nodded, closing his eyes, "Yes... we have both male and female organs. Dammit, what Vegeta said is true. It has to be because I NEVER told anyone."

 

"Really? Not even Kakarot?"

 

"ESPECIALLY not Goku!" Piccolo blushed again, "Now you know. Refrain from jokes until I leave. I need to speak with Goku and Rexyl."

 

Goku's heart broke as he saw Rexyl get so upset, "It's important just in case.. we.. we don't know if Gynoxyz wants to fight or not.. but we need to be prepared." He hugged Rrxyl to calm him, even though his heart was racing like mad.

 

"I'm here until that day comes.. I won't leave you unless I'm forced to. Alright?"

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

Confused just as much as Bardock at the riddles being said by Piccolo, he was curious as to what the heck the Nemekian was trying to get at. And when the answer was revealed, he just stares, eyes wide, letting everything he'd heard sink in. It was obvious he was trying hard not to laugh after a little bit, as he forced himself to look away from Piccolo, pulling the light blanket of the bed up over his head, stuffing his hand against his mouth to try and stifle the sound of his snickering.

 

Once Piccolo did leave though, he busts out laughing, however regretted it right away when a jolt of pain racks his body, making him wince. "OW!" He lets the blanket fall, and breathes deeply. "No wonder he never told anyone! The look on his FACE was funny enough!" Taking deep breaths, he sighs, letting the air out slowly from his lungs.

 

"Well...anyways...I just hope things get better...and not worse..."

 

Being held by Goku helped calm Rexyl down, as he held on to the other tightly, afraid that if he let go, Goku would just suddenly disappear. Just talking about the slightest possibility of such a thing happening put Rexyl on edge, and tears fell now, though he tried hard not to cry. He trusted Goku, who always kept his promises.

 

"Al-alright...You promise? Promise me..." Rexyl pressed close against Goku, as if trying to memorize the other's body against his own, burying his face against the other's chest, memorizing Goku's scent. He didn't want anything to happen.

 

"Goku-nii...is it too soon to say...I love you?"

[Bardock]

Goku held onto Rexyl tightly, he too, afraid that if he let go, the other would disappear into thin air. "I promise... and I swear. Del... um.. siku hajk, right? On my honor."

 

Goku waited as he held Rexyl, and at the same moment Rexyl spoke, Goku had started to as well. But what the other had asked made Goku's eyes widen in shock. Rexyl had said it first, and it pleased Goku. He looked down at Rexyl, smiling as he placed one hand on the side of his face, "It's never too soon for that."

 

He then pressed his lips to Rexyl's in a soft kiss. When the kiss was over, his voice just above a whisper, "I love you, too.."

Rexyl smiles when he hears Goku attempt to speak Xerothuan. "I do not remember the language that well, but that sounds about right." At first when he waited to hear what the other would say, he thought he'd said the wrong thing, because of Gou's reaction, but was relieved when the other smiled. "That is good." He murmurs, sighing softly.

 

His lips welcomed the presence of Goku's, cherishing the warmth he felt and received from them. When they parted, not seconds pass before he longed to feel that sensation once more, his heart fluttering like a butterfly when he heard Goku say that he loved him too. "That makes me happy..."

 

Even though he wanted more, he could feel the presence of someone approaching. Before they arrived though, Rexyl leans up and steals a quick kiss from Goku, blushing deeply when he pulls back.

[Bardock]

Goku smiled at the first kiss. But when the second kiss came, his eyes stayed closed, cherishing the sweet taste of Rexyl's lips. So, he went in again, this time catching the others lips in a but more of a forceful kiss. He snaked a hand up Rexyl's shirt, now his lips leaving his lips and trailing to Rexyl's neck, where he bit and sucked gently.

 

"Ahem.."

 

Goku stopped a moment and then shook his head, "Ignoring.."

 

"Goku..."

 

"Dammit.." slightly irritated, Goku stops, staring at Piccolo, "You're cockblocking me, dude."

 

Piccolo laughs softly, "Been spending way too much time with Raj. Hello, Rexyl. How are you?"

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

Rexyl's eyes widen at the forcefulness of the kiss that came after his own, but gives in quickly, cheeks flushing up when it gets a bit more intimate, with Goku kissing his neck. His heart started to beat fast in his chest, however, sadly, it didn't last long, as someone arrives.

 

At first Goku tries to ignore Piccolo, and Rexyl couldn't help but start to get a bit embarrassed. He blushes deep red when Goku finally backs away, staring down at the ground, fixing his clothing, straightening it out from it's crumpled state. When he was spoken to he looks up, staring at Piccolo, at first unsure what to say.

 

"U-um, I-I am okay...And...how are you? Pickl...Piccolo." He had almost slipped and said Pickles again, but had managed to save himself and fix his grammar before making the mistake. If Rexyl had been a kettle, steam would be coming from the top of his head from how embarrassed he was at that moment. "Are...are you coming with us?"

[Bardock]

Piccolo smirked softly, "You're learning. I am well. I came to speak to you two."

 

"What is it, Piccolo?" Goku tilted his head, curious about why Piccolo was there.

 

Piccolo looked to Rexyl, "I will be going to see you there, but I think it would be more beneficial if we all went back to the Hyperbolic Time Room."

 

Goku nodded, "Our energies won't be detected there.."

 

"Exactly." Piccolo nodded, "Also, Rexyl.." Piccolo looked over at Rexyl and pulled out a vial, "I need some of your essence in this."

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

When Piccolo mentions something called a Hyberbolic Time Room, Rexyl tilts his head, confused and a little curious as to what it exactly was. Apparently it was safer to be than wherever Goku had been planning on going in the first place, their energies could not be detected. But would that be enough to keep a god like Gynoxyz away for long? Rexyl hoped so.

 

Spoken to directly once more, Rexyl looks intently at the Nemekian, eyes wide in alert attention, his eyes moving from the other's face to the vial that had been pulled out, now even more confused as of the request.

 

"Um...essence? My essence? And...how would you put it in that?" He points at the vial, then glances at Goku, wondering if the Saiyan had any idea what was going on, or what Piccolo was getting at.

[Bardock]

As Rexyl had glanced at Goku, his eyes flashed in anger, "Dude!!"

 

Piccolo raised a hand to Goku, as if trying to calm him, "Hold on, it's not what it sounds like.."

 

"Really?!" Goku still looked angry, "Because I'm pretty sure you just asked my BOYFRIEND to jack off in that vial!!"

 

Piccolo looked shocked, cringing slightly, "Goku, for crying out loud! Do you really think I'd ask that?! Essence is blood!"

 

"Then its still a 'no'. Rexyl doesn't like pain." He crossed his arms over his chest, huffing slightly.

 

Piccolo sighed, glancing to Rrxyl as he gripped the vial tighter in his hand, "Do you two remember what Vegeta said?"

 

"No." Goku scoffed this time, glaring his eyes until they were slightly slitted, "I try to erase stupid from my memory."

 

Piccolo laughed then, letting a hand fall, "That's funny. But this is serious. Vegeta said a baby will bring peace."

 

Goku looked nervous then, clearing his throat, "Y-Yeah, well.. whats that got to do with us?"

 

"Yours and his essence will mix, and it will form a baby."

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

Rexyl watched in silence as Goku got defensive all of a sudden, but it seemed as if the Saiyan had gotten the wrong idea, or so Piccolo was trying to explain. When he heard it was blood that was needed, he automatically shakes his head, and Goku speaks for him, saying that it was still a no-go, as he didn't like pain.

 

Even though Goku said he didn't remember what Vegeta had said, Rexyl did however, and wondered what this was all about. But sure enough it was to be explained like usual, saying that their essences, both his and Goku's, would be used to make a baby.

 

Glancing from Goku, to Piccolo, then to the vial, Rexyl was silent. Even though he'd been told the child would bring peace, he was scared. So, in that moment...

 

"I...I can not. Not now..." He looks away, eyes down cast. Rexyl was not ready for such a thing, he was still young himself.

[Bardock]

Piccolo turned to Rexyl, "I'm not sure you understand. If we do this, maybe Gynoxyz will leave. Maybe he's here to see if you and Nexus are doing your jobs. But if he sees that you settled down, had a baby.. maybe whatever he came for won't seem as important."

 

Goku shook his head, even though Piccolo wasn't looking at him, "And what if what he wants.. is the child?"

 

Piccolo looked back to Goku then, who stood there, waiting for an answer. Piccolo had to admit he hadn't thought about that. What if Gynoxyz, indeed, was there to take away this child? What if he didn't want Earth to have peace? What if...

 

"It's a risk we have to take."

 

"Fuck you.." Goku said it so quickly, almost automatically, as if he'd KNOWN Piccolo would say such a thing. He moved, over to Rexyl's side as he raised a hand to Piccolo, "No. I won't allow a child to be taken from me. It won't be born just to be taken away! It'll happen when it happens and now is not the time. We need to go.. we have to pack and meet Raj."

 

"Goku, just listen to me.." Piccolo pleaded with him, "Please.. you won't be safe there.."

 

Goku nodded, "Maybe.. but we'll be safer by not being around YOU.." he pulled Rexyl into his arms, raising up, and flying away, leaving Piccolo shocked, and unable to say a word.

Rexyl says nothing in return, eyes downcast. He had no idea what Piccolo meant by 'Jobs', but he did have a faint clue about what kind of job Nexus would be doing. But himself, he had been so out of it when he'd first come to earth nothing like that would have remained in his memory, or else he would have known what it was by now. Wasn't that how those kind of things worked?

 

Before he could even actually say anything, Goku speaks up again, and it was obvious he was annoyed and pissed off at everything that the Nemekian was saying and suggesting, especially by the curse words that slipped from between his lips. Rexyl knew that the other hardly ever said such things, and only did when he was truly angry. Despite the pleading that came from Piccolo, they leave, Rexyl being held in Goku's arms, silent and sullen, wondering just what was going to happen.

 

"Goku-nii...? What do you think will happen?"

 

A slow clapping sound could be heard coming from behind Piccolo, and just as Goku and Rexyl take off, the very one they were trying to avoid appears from the shadows. "Congratulations on getting my plans completely wrong. Way off base there, my green friend. Totally not what I'm here for. And really, what do I care if Earth has peace or not? I mean, come on..." He smirks at the Nemekian, a hand on his hip, obviously amused by what had taken place.

 

"But really, I mean it..." He steps forward more, so he was a bit closer to Piccolo. "I'm definitely not here for anything like you just said..." Waving a hand dismissively, he sighs loudly. "You guys are WAY too paranoid. It'll give you wrinkles."

 

Stopping now, he tilts his head to the side, looking at the other intently, a smirk much like that of Nexus's upon his lips, though it was obvious his smirk was taunting Piccolo, instead of being amusing.

[Bardock]

Goku got to the house in record time, and wasted no time as he started to pack a couple of changes of clothes for Rexyl. Even though both had been silent on the way, he knew Rexyl had questions. As Rexyl spoke up, asking what he thought would happen, Goku slowed and stopped, his hands on the bag as if he was thinking about what he would say to the other. After a few agonizing moments, he finally looked up, his full of worry, and some other emotion as well. One he never let anyone see.. fear. "I don't know..."

 

Piccolo stood where he was only for a few seconds when he heard the clapping. Snapping his head around, his eyes widened as Gynoxyz stepped from the shadows. Even though he had never seen him before, Piccolo knew who it was. He watched him, as he stepped closer to Piccolo, his eyebrows pressed together in a determined stare. Piccolo didn't stand down, and he was on edge, "I see... forgive me for being so 'paranoid'.."

 

Piccolo turned then, to face Gynoxyz, "But considering the last few years, do you really blame us? It had seemed as though we always had to fight someone. Majin Buu, Cell.. Exodys." Piccolo had said Nexus' brothers name on purpose, to see if Gynoxyz had any reaction.

 

"Forgive me for sounding so unamused.." Piccolo didn't smirk his usual cocky smirk, but held that gaze instead, "May I ask WHY you are here, then? Goku is afraid you're going to try to take Rexyl away from him."

 

Goku had finally packed clothes for himself and Rexyl, and had grabbed something for Rexyl to eat. As Goku waites in the spot they said they would meet Raj, Goku felt his stomach complain from the lack of food. He ignored the feeling, keeping his head a bit low, but stealing a quick look to Rexyl every now and then.

 

Finally, after what seemed like forever, Raj landed with a 'hup'! And he smiled at Rexyl and Goku. "What up?"

"Oh..." Was all Rexyl could say to the answer Goku had given him. So, he didn't know what was going to happen, had no idea...But even so, Rexyl trusted Goku with his life, and would follow him anywhere. After all...what was trust, if not being able to do that? He sat quietly now, watching as the Saiyan packed clothes into a bag, for himself, and for Rexyl as well, then got something for him to eat.

 

The look that he'd seen in Goku's eyes as he'd answered the question had burned into his memory, and Rexyl never wanted to see that again. It seemed so sad...and sadness was something he did not enjoy, especially when those who were special to him felt that way.

 

Once everything was ready, they leave the house, heading towards where they were to meet Raj, and as they waited, Rexyl ate the food that Goku had given him, his keen senses telling him that Goku was hungry as well. Though the other never spoke up, never complained, obviously trying to ignore it. He could feel as Goku glanced at him, and after some time had passed, Rexyl having finished his food, Raj appears, in front of them.

 

"Hi hi Raj-okido." He glances at Goku, and sighs softly, forcing himself to stand up from the sitting position he'd been in. "Are...are we going now, Goku-nii?"

 

Gynoxyz just stood there as Piccolo answered, the smirk slipping and turning into a small smile. "No, I don't blame you. You have every right to be careful. I mean, I'm an intruder, a GOD, of course you're going to be on edge. But, trust me...I'm not here for trouble." He did not react when the name Exodys was mentioned, having a feeling that was what Piccolo was after, but instead kept that same smile upon his face.

 

Deep inside though, he was furious, but not at them. No, he was pissed off at Exodys, as that fool had gotten himself killed. Tilting his head at the question, he thought for a moment, before answering in a roundabout way, not letting the other know right out what he was up to.

 

"Well...I'm here for several reasons. One is to keep what Goku fears from happening, and to keep what you all fear from happening. I actually think this planet is quite...intriguing...don't you think so?" He pauses, looking around, his eyes following a car that drove past, before turning his eyes to Piccolo again.

 

"Another reason...well, actually...I think I'll keep THAT to myself..." He smiles wider, a flicker of amusement shining in his eyes. "But, you have my word, that it isn't causing trouble." He steps back, clasping his hands behind him, an air of hilarity around him. "Who knows, maybe eventually you can help me out on my other endeavors? I must know though, exactly why Nexus likes it here so much...just what about this planet, and the people on it, does he like? I can sense he has many mixed emotions about this place..."

[Bardock]

"You're late." Goku looked up from the bench, staring at Raj as he patted Rexyl's head.

 

Raj nodded to Goku, "Sorry. My roommate was there, and I had to give a reason why I was packing my mom's pictures." He let one hand tap the backpack he wore on his shoulder. After smiling at Rexyl, he sat down by Goku, "Also... I uh.. called work and asked for an emergency leave of absence. They gave me two weeks with pay."

 

Goku shook his head without looking at Raj, "I don't know when we'll be back.."

 

Raj sighed softly, his expression now completely worrisome. He rose his head after a moment, and he looked at Goku, "Dude.. you taught me how to detect another energy."

 

Goku glanced at Raj, "I know.."

 

Raj nodded, falling silent for another minute. Then nonchalantly stated, "You also taught me listen to the energy, and it will tell me if its friend.. or foe."

 

Goku smiled softly, "Not in so many words... but yeah."

 

Raj looked at Goku then, "Are YOU listening?"

 

Goku's eyes traveled over to Raj, curiosity filling the brown irises.

 

"What makes you think this guy is here to do any harm?" Raj shook his head, "I know he's tough and all, but.. did you stop to think that maybe.. he wanted to see Earth? Like Nexus?"

 

Piccolo watched Gynoxyz as he spoke, his eyes moving where . The other went. Piccolo relaxed slightly upon hearing him say bbc.co he wasn't here for a fight, or, for that matter, for any kind of trouble. But he still had to be alert, just in case he changed his mind.

 

Upon hearing Gynoxyz speak od Nexus, Piccolo's eyebrows rose just barely, "Nyx? Well.. he fell in love. I suppose that's the best answer I can give you."

Rexyl smiles softly when his head was patted, watching as the two other men conversed, staying quiet and not really saying anything right then, enjoying just listening to the others. So apparently Goku had taught Raj a few things, like how to detect energy and the evil or good within.

 

It was interesting, and he was slightly surprised at what Raj said next, suggesting that Gynoxyz wasn't here for anything bad, despite being who and what he was. It was definitely something to think about, making Rexyl tilt his head slightly. Yes, that could be a possibility...In many ways, Gynoxyz was like Nexus in the curiosity of this planet, many knew that.

 

"Maybe...maybe Rajokido is right, Goku-nii?" He looks right at Goku, his eyes filled with possibility. "Maybe he IS here like Nyx, and just wants to see Earth?"

 

Now it was Gynoxyz's turn to raise his eyebrows, the smile he wore growing at what he heard Piccolo say. "Oh? Love is it...Well, he definitely deserves that at least, considering all that he has gone through, don't you think?" He looks up at the stars, which reflect in his eyes brightly.

 

"Love...it's such a confusing thing. An emotion yes, but it can also be defined as so much more..." His eyes lower to look at Piccolo, clasping his hands behind his back, standing with a strong stance. "Yes, love is what makes the world go round. But sometimes LOVE is not the answer..."

 

Turning around, he waves to Piccolo. "I'll be seeing you around. I need to get going, there are things that I need to do before the night fades away to the next day..."

 

One step further, and he disappears in the blink of an eye, no longer there with the Nemekian, having gone somewhere else entirely.

[Bardock]

"Okay, hold on.." Raj looked at Rexyl ,"Rajokido?"

 

Goku smiled softly, "He gives nicknames. Like, he calls me 'Goku-nii'."

 

"Oh.. what should I call you, then?" Raj twisted a bit, thinking for a moment, "Oh! I know! The Rexinader!" He moves his hands outwards, as if the nickname were a title.

 

Goku raised a brow, "Yeah, I don't think so.." he sighed softly, raising to his feet as a million thoughts coarsed through his mind, "Okay.. suppose he's not here to fight.. then why hide your power level?"

 

Raj shrugged, smiling again at Rexyl, "Maybe he just doesn't want ONE person to know he's here.."

 

Piccolo watched Gynoxyz take leave, and he let out a breath. So he wasn't here to fight. Not to harm, no trouble.. then why? Piccolo raised into the air then, flying into the direction of Nexus and Bardock.

 

Goku sighed softly, "I don't know.. but I think I know someone who does." Goku grabbed Rexyl, giving him a soft smile, "Let's fo see Nyx."

Rexyl smiles and nods at what Raj says, who repeated the nickname that he'd given the other. "Yes. Raj-okido!" He blinks in confusion though when the other decided to give him a nickname as well, laughing softly at the title he'd been given, shaking his head and laughing more at the reaction that Goku had given to it.

 

"Maybe...he hides it because he's so powerful and does not want people to be scared?" Rexyl says quickly, looking to Raj, then to Goku. "And yes. maybe Rak-okido is right...but who would he not want to know that he is here?" He has a questioning look, but then blinks when Goku suggests they go see Nexus.

 

"Alright..." He smiles, looking forward to seeing Nexus, and sighs softly, wondering how this would all turn out.

 

Reappearing, Gynoxyz looks up at the hospital like building, nodding to something in his head, before disappearing again. But only to return once more right in the room where Nexus and Bardock were. "Hello!" Gynoxyz raises his hand in greeting, though even so, his sudden appearance makes Nexus jump, and automatically reach for his sword, though it was not there.

 

"Why...why are you here!?" Nexus demands, his eyes narrowing, though he could not keep up the tough look, as pain racks his body, making him wince and fall against the pillow.

 

"Calm down. I'm here...for you..." Saying this, he steps forward, totally aware that Bardock was in the room as well.
