Dragon Ball Z: Between Two Worlds (SPOILERS, +18, MA?)

Watching the two converse, Rexyl yawns widely, leaning his head back a bit to stare up at the sky, watching clouds drifting, and a large flock of birds fly over head, humming absently to himself, wincing every now and then as a bit of pain could be felt, making him say 'ow' each time.

 

Lowering his gaze when Goku speaks to him, he looks at the small bean in Goku's hand, reaching out and picking it up, staring at it as if inspecting it for something. "Chew this? Okay..." Staring at it a bit more, he then puts it in his mouth, and bites it, making a face and sticking his tongue out.

 

To him, it was gross. It felt weird against his teeth, and he didn't like it. Spitting it out back on his hand, he holds it out to Goku, as if offering it back to him. "Yuck." He stares intently at Goku. "Goku...this is yuck. I do not like it."

 

His stomach gurgles loudly just then, making his shoulders slump. "I'm hungry! But not that!" Pouting, he sighs, wanting food, not whatever this bean thing was. He wanted his pain to go away but...it was gross...

[Bardock]

Goku winced as he spit it out, nodding softly, "Okay.. lets get you something to eat.." he picks him up, "Thanks, Yamcha. I'll see you later." He lifts into the air, flying towards the house so he can make him something to eat.

 

Goku didn't blame Rexyl for spitting it out. The bean practically had no taste, but to him, he didn't like it. As he neared the house, his heart started to race a little. How the hell was he going to explain Rexyl's cuts??

 

He reached the house and opened the door, glad no one was home. Goku sat Rexyl down and made some soup for him. As he started to feed it to Rexyl, he smiled but sighed softly, "It was my fault.. I'm sorry, Rexyl. I don't know how I'll explain this to Nexus. I just hope he won't keep me from seeing you because of this."

Sitting in the chair he'd been set in when they got to the house, Rexyl watches as Goku began to cook some soup. Absently, he runs his fingers along the table, sighing softly, closing his eyes just a tiny bit as he waited for the food to be ready.

 

When it was, and he was being fed, he listens to what Goku says to him, shaking his head softly. "Nexus will...let you see me. I know. Do not worry, Goku..." He pats Goku's arm, eating another bite, sighing in content as his stomach was filled with food.

 

Finished eating, he leans towards Goku, and hugs him, closing his eyes, and almost immediately falls asleep, and right when that happens, Nexus comes inside the house. "Hey, I'm back..." He calls, coming into the kitchen, his eyes immediately falling to the cut on Rexyl's cheek. His expression was furious. An eye twitches, as he tries to calm down and not yell, seeing that Rexyl was asleep.

 

Taking a deep breath, he glares at Goku. "I don't even want to know what happened. Don't tell me, God forbid you say one word. I give you this task, I trust you to take care of Rexyl, and this happens. Damn it Goku..." His voice had been low, and he rubs his fingers against his forehead closing his eyes a moment before opening them again.

 

At first it had seemed he was going to flip, but he just sighs. "I don't know whether to be pissed at you, or thanking you right now." Sitting in a chair, he runs his finger around the rim of the soup bowl, staring at it. "Seems...he HAS taken to you...he'd never eat for me like this...and definitely not cling on to me like that."

 

Pointing to Rexyl, who held onto Goku like a stuffed toy. "I guess...I dunno...I'll let this slide. But only this once. Consider yourself lucky. And, if you wish...you may continue seeing him..." Smiling weakly at Goku, before his eyes drift to look at Rexyl again, who'd sighed softly.

[Bardock]

Goku held onto Rexyl, holding him as if he were a child and he was comforting them. After Nexus spoke, Goku picked him up and placed him in the bed to rest. He sat there for a moment, holding onto Rexyl's hand. He remembered the kiss, how Rexyl said it was nice. Did he even know what was going on? Was Goku coming on too strong? Goku walked out and sat down next to Nexus.

 

"Can.. I stay here tonight?" He glanced over at Nexus, "I have something to get off my chest and.. I want to say it in front of you and Dad."

Rexyl relaxes into his bed, sighing softly, a smile upon his lips. Despite getting hurt, today had been fun. He'd gotten to spend time with Goku, and he'd shared an experience he had never done before. Despite not completely understanding the meaning behind a kiss, Rexyl had liked it. It had felt nice. Just remembering it in his subconscious, a faint blush forms on his cheeks.

 

While Goku had taken Rexyl to his room, Nexus made a quick meal for himself, and was in the process of eating it when Goku came back, sitting down next to him, asking him if he could stay over, saying there was something he wanted to tell both of them.

 

For a moment he was silent, eating his food quietly, before setting it down. He then shrugs, looking over at Goku. "I don't see why not. You're more than welcome to come over whenever you like, after all you've done...it's the least I could do in return. Besides..." he grins widely, chuckling softly. "I don't think Rexyl would like it if you stopped coming to see him."

 

Sighing, he finishes his food. "But anyways, yes, you can stay tonight. Bardock should be getting back soon, say ten, twenty minutes. So, in the mean time, do what you want. Oh, and you can choose where you sleep. The couch, or if you want, and can be quiet enough, there's a folding bed in Rexyl's room. It's already got sheets and stuff on it." Nexus had used it for a few nights when Rexyl was in his complete coma, not wanting to leave his side.

 

With that, he proceeds to make more food, as he was still really hungry.

[Bardock]

Goku nodded, "Thanks. Will you come get me once Dad gets here?" He turned, walking into Rexyl's room. He closed the door, sighing softly. He wasn't sure if what he was going to say would be the right thing or not. But he needed to talk to someone about it. In the meantime, he walked over to Rexyl's bed and crawled in beside him. Laying on one arm, he wrapped the other arm as round Rexyl's waist.

"Sure... " Nexus nods, watching as Goku left the room, heading into Rexyl's, probably to rest a bit. Sitting down, he eats his food, brooding quietly about the events of the day, waiting for Bardock to get back from whatever the heck he decided to go do.

 

When Rexyl felt Goku climb onto the bed, then wrap his arms around him, he turns so he was facing Goku. Moving so he was close to the other, instinctively reaching out and lightly taking a hold of Goku, and sighing softly. For a moment he remains like this, before he stirs again, his eyes opening.

 

Then, he looks up, and smiles tiredly. "Goku..." He reaches up, and touches Goku's lips with the tips of his fingers. "Again?" He wanted a kiss, the one he'd missed out on because he fell. Before he fell asleep completely this time.

[Bardock]

Goku's cheeks turned pink slightly. Nexus was just in the next room, so he was extremely nervous. But then again, Goku wanted a kiss, too. He lowered his head, softly pressing his lips to Rexyl's in a kiss. One hand snaked, softly caressing the side of Rexyl's face. His tongue softly ran over his lips, asking for entrance as the other hand pulled Rexyl closer.

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

The moment their lips connected, it was as if tinglies were making their way all over Rexyl's body, starting at the point of contact. He shivers slightly at the hand upon his cheek, and as he felt Goku's tongue brush against his lips, his eyes widen slightly. Though, even if his mind knew not what to do, it seemed instinct did. Slowly his lips part, allowing access, his warm breath trembling a tiny bit.

 

Contact between them got closer as Rexyl was pulled against Goku, no doubt the pounding heart in his chest could be sensed by Goku. Closing his eyes slightly, he sighs with content into the kiss. He felt as if he could not breathe, but it was not bad. Rexyl was fuzzy all over inside, warmth spreading over him like a wildfire. Reaching up, he takes a hold of the front of Goku's shirt, his fingers brushing barely across the skin at the top.

[Bardock]

A low, soft purring emitted from Goku's throat as he slipped his tongue inside Rexyl's mouth. His tongue slowly over the other's in a deep kiss thst grew more passionate. He was telling himself to stop... Nexus could walk in any minute. But his body... couldn't. Goku pulled Rexyl closer. Then his hand reached down, softly reaching through the kimono, wanting to touch his bare skin.

 

Goku's heart started to pound now. He prayed that Nexus wouldn't walk in right then. He wanted this just a little longer...

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

Rexyl was lost in the moment, letting Goku take the lead, and allowing his instinct to take over. As he felt Goku's hand slip into the folds of his kimono, touching his skin, he trembles, pushing himself closer against the fingers touching him. He knew nothing in this topic of life, never having been in a relationship. So, this was all new to him, and it made him want more.

 

However, that wasn't going to happen. Bardock was back, and Nexus comes to get Goku. Proceeding to open the door, he walks in. "Goku, Bardock is back, do you wa-" He stops mid sentence, shocked at what he was seeing. For a moment he stands there, dumbfounded, before he snaps out of it.

 

Striding forward, he taps Goku on the shoulder. "It's time to stop feeling up on Rexyl now. So get up. Actually, here, let me help you." He reaches down and pulls Goku off the bed, and literally drags him from the room. The whole while he was smiling, but the look in his eyes was deadly. Rexyl stares after them, sighing softly before relaxing on his bed, and drifting back to sleep, a faint smile on his lips.

 

Nexus pushes Goku onto the couch in the front room, before walking away, to stand against the wall opposite the couch, arms crossed over his chest. "I cannot believe you would do something like that. But you know what, since I'm such a nice person, I'll let it go on one condition. You'll be my sparring partner in a couple of days. To be honest I wish I could rip your guts out but that would only upset Bardock, and I don't want that to happen. So, as situation calls, the removal of your internal organs isn't an option right now." The whole time he said this he had a smile on his face, making the words sound and feel ten times more deadly.

 

"Now then, what did you wish to speak with us about?"

[Bardock]

Goku felt Rexyl's body shiver, and it only made him crave more. But Goku then heard the door open, and Goku tried to stop the kiss in time. But Nexus saw it anyway. The next thing he knew, he was pulled off the bed and drug down the hall. Once he sat, he did listen to the words that Nexus spoke. He nodded firmly, and then cleared his throat, "Okay, wait.. let me explain."

 

Bardock was setting a plate down, full of rice. And he stared at the two. Once he heard Nexus' words, he then looked at Goku and sighed, "Oh god. What did you do?"

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

"Explain away then, oh great protector of Earth. Before I change my mind and decide you're better off as a DEAD protector of earth, and use your entrails as fish bait on the camping trip I've planned for us, and your head as a topper for the scarecrow in the back yard." He smiles wider, topping the creepy meter by tenfold. "Come on now, speak up, don't be shy."

 

When Bardock spoke Nexus looks at him, crazed smile not faltering once. "Tell him Goku. Tell him all about it." He then leans against the wall more, turning to look away, the smile gone, replaced by a glare that pretty much screamed 'you fucked up and if you don't explain in a way I find reasonable, prepare to be placed in a coffin and buried'.

[Bardock]

"Vegeta beats me..."

 

Bardock stares at Goku, a shocked look on his face, "Whoa, wait, what?"

 

Goku looked shocked himself and he chuckled softly, "Wow.. I didn't think I really ever said it out loud.."

 

Bardock sat down then, "Kakarot, are you okay?"

 

"Yeah." He chuckled again, more nervous-like, "I'm fine.. I think. But.. Nexus.. I think I kissed Rexyl because... okay, I havn't felt wanted.. or even needed in a long time. It was.. just nice to feel that way." He looked down, "Vegeta left the other night.. last night, actually. When Rexyl sees me, he gets so excited and happy. I liked that he does that, so I started to think maybe I liked him, and I am RANTING. Like a LOT. I do that when I'm really nervous and I just wish someone would tell me to shut up. Like REALLY. So-"

 

Bardock took the hint. "Kakarot.. shut up." When he did, he sighed softly, "Okay.. let's take this one at a time.."

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

Out of all the thing he thought Goku would say, THAT definitely wasn't on the list. He stares, all hatred gone from his eyes, replaced by confusion and a hint of concern and worry. As Goku began to speak more, he just stood there, staring at Goku. So, Rexyl made him feel like that huh? He knew how that felt, taking a quick glance at Bardock. When Nexus felt like no one cared, Bardock had always managed to fix that. He also, somehow, managed to mend his broken heart, more than just once.

 

"Goku, shut up." He says this at the same time Bardock does, and chuckles softly, moving to sit on the couch as well. Despite constant death threats, battle me's and comments tossed like the wazzoo, Nexus thought of Goku as a good friend, someone he cared about.

 

A noise suddenly could be heard, and Nexus looks up, sighing softly as an eye peeks around the corner, and it was no mistaking who it belonged to. That violet color was unique. "Rexyl..come on out." Rexyl moves forward, clinging to the wall, unable to stand otherwise. "Goku...Nexus...Bardock..." It was obvious Rexyl was tired, but he couldn't stay asleep. Nexus looks at Goku, then smiles softly, before staring at his hands. "Rexyl, do you want to sit on the couch with us?"

 

Rexyl nods, looking straight at Goku. "Yes." Nexus felt his stomach sink like a stone, but could not help but feel a bit happy. Though jealousy rushed through him, know he knew Goku had been right all along.

[Bardock]

Goku first heard Rexyl's voice and he turned, immediately jumping to his feet as a couple pf tears fell down his face. He tried to brush them away as he walked over to the younger male, "Rexyl.. you shouldn't try to stand yet, silly. " he leaned over, picking him up easily and he walked back to the couch, glad that Rexyl had finally decided to show how much he learned.

 

As Goku sat down, he smiled at Nexus, "Being around you the past week has been a lot of fun.. I learned a lot from you, and.." he glanced up at Nexus, then moved a hair from the younger male's eyes, "I don't know why I feel the way I do around you.. but I'm not one to ask questions, either."

 

Bardock couldn't help but glance at Nexus, smiling at him as if to tell him 'We know how he feels, don't we?' He then placed a hand on his shoulder, "I owe you an apology.. you were telling the truth."

 

Goku smiles softly, "I don't need an apology.." his eyes then advert back to Rexyl, "I just wanna be happy.."

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

As he was picked up, Rexyl reaches to brush away the tears that Goku had missed, smiling warmly. Once sitting on the couch, he snuggled close to Goku, sitting comfortably on his lap. Rexyl was content with where he was, leaning his head lightly against Goku's chest, sighing happily.

 

Nexus sees this, and hears Goku's words. "Whatever...Just shut up..." Was the only response he could manage at that point, as it felt as if a rock had gotten lodged in his throat. Looking to Bardock, Nexus forces a smile on his face. He'd have to get used to this. Seeing Rexyl like this, moving, talking, reacting...it was all thanks to Goku. Just seeing that smile on Rexyl's face was enough to make him want to cry, because the last smile he had seen from him was back on Xeros.

 

"You...you deserve to be happy...but..." He forces himself to look at Goku. "If you hurt him, I swear you'll wish you'd never been born." He looks to Rexyl, who was relaxing against Goku, looking like he was on the verge of falling asleep again. He was making soft humming noises, almost as if trying to mimic the purring sound he'd heard Goku make, and Jinye made whenever Nexus petted her. Speaking of, the cat saunters in, and without looking at anyone, she jumps up into Nexus' lap, curling up, making Nexus smile.

[Bardock]

Goku looked at Nexus, just as serious, and he shook his head, "I'd never hurt him. And if I ever did.. you have my permission to do whatever you want." He hugged Rexyl around the waist again, "I'm gonna lay down with him.. seems like he can only sleep when I'm there.." Goku only said the last part as a passing statement before he picked Rexyl up again and carried him into his room.

 

Bardock moved closer, but not close enough to be attacked by Jinye, "You alright with that?"

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

Watching as Goku gets up and walks away with Rexyl, Nexus pulls Jinye up against his chest, burying his face in her fur to hide the tears that now fell. "I have to be...don't I? For Rexyl, I have to be...okay with this." He was completely torn about the whole situation, not completely sure what to feel right at the moment.

 

Back in the bedroom, Rexyl relaxes on the bed, hoping Goku would join him. When he did, Rexyl scoots close, nuzzling up against him, sighing in happiness. He tilts his head back a bit, looking up at Goku's face, wondering....then he shifts a bit, placing himself so he was face to face with Goku.

 

He might have been tired, but...he leans in, wanting the kiss from before to continue. "Goku..." He murmurs, his soft, warm breath gently brushing against Goku's lips.

[Bardock]

Bardock took Jinye from Nexus and set him upon the floor, not caring if he got scratched. Then he pulls Nexus into a hug, holding him tightly. Upon thinking about it, he looks confused, "Why ARE you bothered by it?"

 

In the bedroom Goku smiles as he lies down with Rexyl, softly kissing him back, pressing his lips a little more hungrily against the others. To get more comfortable, he removed the orange Gi shirt, now left in his orange pants and a black t-shirt.

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

Jinye scampers off, hissing. Nexus allows himself to he pulled into a hug, sighing softly, still crying quietly. At the question, he shakes his head. "I...don't really know. It's just a feeling I guess..." He didn't want to admit it, not the real reason. Not now. It was a little too late for that.

 

Rexyl smiles into the kiss, watching as Goku took the orange shirt off he was wearing, now just in a black T-shirt, and of course his pants. Leaning in again, Rexyl felt something within him stirring, pushing him to move forward. He grabs a hold of the front of Goku's shirt, before lightly pressing his lips against Goku's. A butterfly kiss, soft and gentle, barely brushing lips together, but enough to send ripples down anyone's spine.

[Bardock]

Bardock let out a soft sigh, still holding him tightly, "You loved him, huh?" Bardock already pretty much knew Nexus had feelings for Rexyl. He just kind of didn't really want to admit it to himself. "It's okay to tell me.. I won't get all psycho crazy or anything."

 

Goku shivered softly from the warm kiss. Moving to where he was on top of Rexyl, but not crushing him, he then pressed his leg in between the others groin, moving it softly up and down as he continued to kiss him. That soft purr emitted from his throat again.

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

Nexus freezes up, shocked that Bardock had asked that. "No!" He says first, but then after a few moments, he sighs in defeat, closing his eyes, and leans his head against Bardock's chest. "...Yes...I did..." Even though Bardock had assured him he wouldn't 'go psycho crazy', he still felt terrible admitting something like this. Especially since he and Bardock were engaged. "I...I still do, but...it's not quite the same anymore."

 

Eyes widening just slightly when Goku moves over onto him, Rexyl felt vulnerable. His eyes widen even more when a leg was pressed against his groin, rubbing up and down softly, making him whimper quietly. His body tenses, and even while continuing to kiss Goku back, his legs move together, fear trickling through his veins. The purring sound helps him, but not enough to calm him completely. "G-Goku?" A warmth spreads through him, only to be washed over by icy semi-panic.

[Bardock]

Goku immediately stops, moving back, on his knees, "I'm sorry.." He had sensed Rexyl's fear and panic, and he didn't want him to feel that way. Goku ran a hand through his hair, "I should have known.. you're not ready for THAT yet. I just feel.. so different when I am around you. And good. Really good." He laughs nervously, "I'm sorry.. let's stick to just kissing for now. Okay?"

 

Bardock smiled softly as Nexus admitted to his love for Rexyl. Part of him did feel the twinge of jealousy, but definitely not enough to say or do anything about it. He just held Nexus, trying to make the jealous feeling subside, "Did you two.. you know, ever... DO anything?"

[~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~]

Letting out the breath he'd been holding, Rexyl relaxes slightly as Goku moves off of him. He was still trembling slightly, his heart fluttering in his chest like a hummingbird's wings, a single shimmering tear slipping from his eyes. Hearing Goku's words, Rexyl smiles shyly, blushing just a tiny bit. He had no clue before then that he made Goku feel good. But it was true, he was indeed not ready for anything drastic, and definitely not THAT.

 

At the suggestion of sticking to kissing, Rexyl nods. "Okay." He shifts his body a bit, feeling fatigue start to take hold. But he didn't want to sleep, not just yet. One more kiss... he leans up to Goku, and pauses, before kissing Goku like before, butterfly kisses. After, he leans against Goku, closing his eyes, and falls asleep, Goku's heartbeat the lullaby that filled his ears as he drifts into dreams.
