The year is 2765, and a lot has changed in earth. The atmosphere had run it's limit, because of all the pollution and strain that humanity had put onto it. So as a result, the government had to move resources, both natural and economic, to rectify the mess that had become of the atmosphere. All those who were in middle class, shot straight down to poor, and all those who were rich only became richer. Even after the atmosphere was stabilized, the government couldn't find a way to fix the mess that they had made of it's civilization. As times grew more and more desperate, people began to do whatever they could to survive. Murder, rape, theft, cheating, riots, all became common, law was thrown to the wind. For a time, it seemed that humanity had run it's course and was coming to an end. Destroyed not by the atmosphere but by there inability to stabilize. That is, until one man, by the name of Albert Reigns saw an opportunity. He began to create, and imagine, bigger and better than anyone ever had before. He created A.I.'s, Artificial Intelligence, or also known as Androids, to do what humans seemed no longer capable. These units were deployed among all cities world wide, where they began to keep order. In the beginning, they were there to stabilize. Catch thieves, prosecute unbiased, based only on the moral codes that were installed in them. They could do the tough jobs that humans couldn't.

However, all things come to an end, the man known as Albert Reigns grew old, and sickly and he died. Since then, people began to further develop and adept his idea of Androids. Now, most people have what are known as P.A.I.'s, which are Personal A.I.'s. To help humans with every day tasks, play with children, cook, clean, help cloth and bath, do anything that is asked of them. Combat A.I.'s had long sense been banned, the only ones that were left were the ones under police or government control. They were seen as to dangerous to be given to the public. However, one man, the owner of Blanc Future Industries, chose to stick his hands where they didn't belong. Rumors were that he was developing androids that were personalized, but he claimed he had made the perfect emotional development program, so that the robots could all but become human themselves.

General Information:

Name: Sebastien Blanc

Nickname: Seb

Age: 22

Date of Birth: October 12th

Gender: Male

Blood Type: AB+

Sexuality: Unsure, but leaning towards Bisexual

Position: Seme

Other Medical Information: Has asthma

Appearance:

Height: 183 cm (6')

Weight: 68.9 kg (152 lbs)

Eye Color and Description: Light grey blue eyes that hide what he is feeling or thinking at the moment. His eyes are a tiny margin wide set, and are usually non-expressive. He has average length black eyelashes, and thin black eyebrows.

Hair Color and Style: Raven black hair, that is straight in style. He keeps his bangs long, and covers one of his eyes with them. His hair is usually slightly messy, more so when he's not trying to actually look like he cares about his appearance.

Skin Type and Color: Has lightly tanned skin, which usually darkens in the summer due to his ability to tan quite well and not burn

Body Type: He has a runner or swimmer's physique, thin, but well built and fit. He exercises when he feels like it, but in reality he doesn't need to. Somehow his body stays the way it is without him even trying.

Markings/Tattoos/Scars/Other: Has a small black mole on his upper right cheek, just beneath his eye. Has no scars to speak of, or any tattoos, but he does have a birthmark on his left shoulder.

Clothing and Other Wear: His clothing varies day by day, but what he does wear is usually comfortable. He doesn't go out of his way to impress others with the way he dresses, only caring about how it fits and feels. However, there are times when he dresses to impress, but that's very rare.

Personality: Has a very aloof and laid back personality, despite being the son of a famous scientist. Some might even get a bit doubtful when he introduces himself, considering his father is one of the most developed and accomplished men in his field, his research several steps ahead of his competitors. Seb, on the other hand, couldn't care less about ambitions and goals, and all he wants is to relax and live his life how he wants to. There are a few things that he gets serious about, but he tells no one what they are, just because he doesn't want to be bugged constantly if he tells.

Background: His mother died when he was born, so he was stuck with just his father from the very get go. Not that he really minded as he grew older, because his father was too busy with his work (his corporation was called Blanc Future Industries) to even pay much attention to him, giving Seb the freedom many children his age envied. Because of his fathers accomplishments, they were well off money wise, and so not only did he get freedom to do whatever he wanted, but also got the wealth along with it.

But at the same time, because his father never had time for him, Seb and his father never got along, and were constantly at odds. Seb was a genius, but his grades never said that much in school, causing his father to get angry at him. Telling him he needed to study harder. But Seb never listened, wanting to stick with what he liked, becoming what many people would call a "rebellious" teen. One could definitely say their relationship wasn't the best, and that was an understatement.

He was a popular guy throughout his school years, but didn't really think much on it, sticking to himself and not really making friends with the other "popular" kids, whom he thought were just a bunch of stuck up, snobby brats. Seb knew others probably thought of him that way right back, but he didn't care, and stayed doing what he loved the most. Which was absolutely nothing at all. That and adding to his collection of many different things in his room.

Likes

+Being lazy and doing absolutely nothing at all

Other Information:

~Has a very large gaming system and game collection. You name it, he's got it

~Has an extensive collection of anime, manga, and other things like it

~Doesn't like to admit it, but he's definitely an otaku. Just not the kind that actually lets others know they are an otaku

~Likes to hang out in his backyard on hot days

~His house is one of the five top largest mansions in the city where he lives

Depending on the situation, one could only expect one of two reactions from Sebastien Blanc. A look of blank incredulity, or one of someone who could not care less about whatever was happening at the moment. And that was exactly how the young man of extensive wealth felt right then. His father's P.A.I. was speaking to him, trying to get him to answer a phone call.

"I told you once, I'm not going to accept the call, so just give it up already."

He was laying on his bed, reading a manga, or at least he had been. That was until the P.A.I. nicknamed Adien came and started bugging him. Apparently his father needed to talk to him about something, but Seb could not care less. It was probably some pointless ranter about a random breakthrough in his work, or anything along that line, it was all his father ever seemed to talk about.

Turning the page in his book, he glances over at Adien, raising an eyebrow as 'he' continued to stand there by the edge of the bed, holding the phone. Sitting up, he reaches over to pick up the device, and without even saying anything, shuts it off, ending the call. Handing it back, resumes his position on the bed, concentrating once more on the page he'd been reading.

"You can leave now Adien. Stop standing there and go do something useful. Make me something to eat. Kit is out of commission at the moment."

Adien nods, and walks away, leaving Seb alone. He sighs in annoyance, turning the page. Why couldn't he just be left to do what he wanted, without the constant distractions? To be completely honest, Sebastien couldn't care less about anything that had to do with his father, his work, what he did, the very fact that his father's company was now the number one industry in the entire world.

However, he would later find himself wishing he had answered that call, and not have ignored it, considering it would have been the last time he spoke to his father alive. Little did he know that his father was dying, that Frederic Blanc was on his last days of life. And that he had left something rather special behind for Seb.

[td]White hair, that had a slight wavey curl to it, making it seem extremely voluminous. [td]Zero does not know much, but whoever created him put a lot of care into the strangest places. Many of his functions do not work, like his wings, and his balance program is severely lacking so unlike most androids that are coordinated, he tends to fall and trip a lot due to depth perception. His language program is also not fully functionally, like whoever started installing it got distracted and never finished. There are various other glitches that have yet to be recorded as well. "Alright, just a few more adjustments and that should do the trick!"

Faintly, a few metal clinks and clanks could be heard, what sounded like maybe a screw driver adjusting a screw here, an angled bolt there. There was a clock, and what sounded like the acceleration of air, signifying that something had been moved into it's proper place."Ah! There it is! Come on, Zero, open your eyes. Please...I've put everything into you. You will be my salvation..with you, please, just turn on!" A man, with black hair and crows feet stood above a table which had what looked to be a child laid out across it. Laying on it's stomach, face down, with what appeared to be small wings jutting out from it's uppder back. There were three low warning beeps from inside of the machine.

Frederic's eyes went wide as he stood and watched, all of his hard work pay off. One of the wings twitched, and in the blink of an eye, the winged boy shot off the table, wings flapping quickly as he flew aroudn the room, corner to corner, trying to find away out. "What, what the!" The inventor called out, completely and utterly shocked. His program was good, but what was this? Was the machine actually...frightened?" He watched, wide eyed as the android continued his rampage, knocking over trays and cups and making papers fly as he continued the fit. "Wait wait, #AC336, calm down!" However when this did nothing to calm the androids fit, he rushed forward and wraped his arms around the boy and hauled him to the ground. "Zero, cease!"

With that, everything stopped as the machines functions began to take effect. Everything went silent, as Frederick looked down at the small boy in his arms. His eyes were wide, and what was there could almost be seen as a curious gaze. "Just wait, you are perfect for him. Zero, you were made for an important purpose. You are going to make my son happy." The machine sat back silently as it reguarded it's creator, watching the large man reach into his pocket and pull out a picture of what looked like a young boy with jet black hair, holding the picture up to the android, he smiled the wide proud smile that only a father could. "You see that? That's my boy, he's 4, and your going to be his." The man seemed to somber slightly be fore he continued, "I haven't always been the best father to him, i'm a busy man. But you, you can do what I can't." The man reached forward and affectionately ruffled the androids soft white hair.

18 Years Later

Fredrick cursed softly as his son hung up on him, again. Something that seemed to be a habbit of the boys. "Dammit Seb, just this once, can't you try to understand." He muttered, annoyed, even though he knew the relationship he had with his son was no ones fault but his own. Leaning back in his bed, he set the phone down before coughing harshly. He glanced down at the box beside his bed, with the shipping label addressed to his son. Calling in an attendent, he spoke, "Ship it." His eyes looked down sadely at the large box, knowing that the small android who he had been through so much with was currentl curled up, powered off inside. He hadn't been turned on in years, Fredrick had become obsessed with making the P.A.I. perfect for his son, and as a consequence, Sebastian had never even heard of the things existence. "I'm sorry it took so long, Zero. Please, do what I can't. I beg of you, make right my wrongs." With that, the box was wheeled out of the dying mans room, as soon as the box was in the mailing truck, Fredricks heart monitor flat lined.

Surprisingly, the rest of the day went by smoothly, and Seb was left in peace. No annoying phone calls, no constant bugging from Adien. Just a quiet evening, reading manga and watching a movie, before going to bed, completely unaware his father was dead. His dreams were undisturbed, and for the most part, he slept well all night, waking up to his alarm going off.

Not even bothering to change from his pajamas, he heads to the kitchen to get something to eat, but was stopped half way there by Adien, who told him that the delivery man was at the front gate, with a package, apparently addressed to him. A skeptical look appears on his face, and a doubtful frown forms on his lips. Who would be sending him something? He hadn't ordered anything online recently, so he wasn't expecting any kind of package to arrive.

Nonetheless, he heads to the front, pulling on a robe over his clothes, then keys in a password to allow the delivery man to pull up to the mansion, or rather, huge industrial corporate mansion house, with over one hundred floors, most used for random things, only a small portion of it was actual living space. His room was on the tenth floor, the whole space was his. Details aside for the time being, he had a very, VERY big home.

Once the man parks, Seb signs a form handed to him, motioning for Adien to help with the box, and it was moved from the delivery truck to a room that appeared to be a sort of living room. The delivery man leaves, and Seb dismisses Adien, so it was just him in the room with the box. For a while he just stares at it, wondering what could be inside. There had been no return addressm so no clue from where it had come from. He then decides to open the box, and was surprised at what he found inside.

What appeared to be a sleeping boy, with white feathered angel wings, curled horns, white hair and pale skin, curled up, seemingly fast asleep. Though there was no mistaking it. This was a P.A.I., a custom designed one. Reaching inside, a confused expression on his face, he gently takes hold of the P.A.I.'s jaw, turning it's head so as Seb could see it's face clearly. Letting his hand fall, he looks along the thing's body, trying to figure out why it had been sent to him.

"I wonder who sent you? You look unlike any P.A.I. design I've ever seen..."

Right then he remembered that when he was younger, around age four, he started to like birds, his favorite being the pure white innocence, known as a dove. Seeing those wings made him think of that, and the only time he'd ever shared time with his father, telling the man his favorite animal. For some reason, thinking of that memory made him want to cry, but he shakes his head, fighting the tears.

He reaches forward again, locating the spot upon the android's body, at the base of the back of the head, and presses it, turning the thing on, hearing as the equipment stirred to life. Seb was curious, just what was this thing doing here, and once more, why had it been sent to him? And also, he'd noticed one thing lacking. The serial code that told the manufacturing number, and the 'name' which it was given was not labeled on it. Usually the code was located upon either the upper arm, side of the neck, across the collarbone, or in tiny letters beneath the eye.

"Alright. Time to wake up...I need some answers, and you are going to give them to me."

"No, no, no! God damn it, Zero! Calm down, stop it!" Fredrick called out, trying to grab for the flustered machine that was currently flinging itself around the room in protest. "Zero, please! I didn't mean to startle you, but how are you going to be able to help Sebastien with his homework when he gets older if I can't install the right programs! Zero, cease!" He called out, and only at the direct order did he finally settle down, feathers scattered around the room. The aged man reached up and pinched the bridge of his nose, letting out a tired sigh before approaching Zero. "We will try again tomorrow, Sebastian had a fever earlier today so I need to get home early to check on him."" Glancing at his watch, Fredrick cursed softly. "It's already that late? He's only 7, he's probably already asleep."

Looking towards the family photo that he had his desk, he murmured, "Forgive me Seb, looks like i'm going to be late again." Pulling on his coat, the man walked around the A.I. who was standing silently in the middle of the room, watching him. "Zero, what do we say when someone is sick?" The A.I. was silent for a moment while it's processors kicked in, and a soft voice responded. "Get well soon." Fredrick let out a smile back at the machine, "Well, at least you managed to retain that, right? Good work today Zero, i'll be back tomorrow." Turning around, he adjusted the A.I.'s shirt before looking at him apologetically Reaching out he ruffled the soft hair carefully, avoiding the horns which were still easily disturbed. The large, metal door shut, and the A.I. was left standing alone. Quietly he made his way over to others desk and looked at the picture of his family that was on it. . Reaching up, he took the frame in his hands, holding it closer to his face before he spoke, looking at the young boy in the picture. "Get well soon, Sebastien."

Grey eyes opened slightly, as light sensors began to adjust as natural lighting filtered in. The longer an A.I. was asleep, the longer it took for it to get running again. So it took a few minutes for the Android to move at all, it's chest began to rise for the first time in a long time. Finally, once everything clicked into place, he became concious, actually seeing what was around him. The eyes went from grey to silver as sat up slowly, the sensors immediately taking in the surroundings. His system had come to be adjusted to one room, the doctors lab. He had only ventured out of the lab twice and it had not ended well either time so had been given direct orders to never leave the lab without Fredrick. Immediately, he recognized the surroundings as foreign and new that there was an error.

Quickly pushing itself off the ground and away from the human that he had detected, he tried to scan his surroundings further. There, a door. He needed to get away from whereever this place was and back to the lab or he would get scolded by Fredrick. The wings on the androids black fluttered slightly as he tried to fly towards it quickly. However he only hovered about a foot off the ground before a harsh clang could be heard from within the wings, followed by the sound of grinding gears. The wings dropped slightly before completely stopping there movement, causing the android to crash face first to the floor gracelessly. Where it laid, completely caught off guard, and murmured two words. "Ow." Only then, did it finally glance over it's shoulder at the foreign human, not recognizing it as the boy he was made for. Mainly because the young boy who he had been shown pictures of and spoken of, was now a man.

Waiting, and watching, Seb watched with a now blank expression as the Android 'woke up'. For a moment nothing happened, until the machine began moving, making Seb rock backwards on his heels, blinking in slight surprise as the Android attempted to fly upwards. Though things didn't go well, as a mechanism within the wings functions seemed to stop work causing the wings to jam up, stop working, and sent the Android crashing face first onto the floor.

Seb's brows press together as he stands from his kneeling position, a hand moving to rest on his hip, the other reaching up and scratching the back of his head, then ran his fingers through his hair, which had gotten quite long. He sighs softly, noticing as the machine glanced back at him, his blue grey eyes meeting with silvery grey ones. For a moment he does nothing, just looking down at the Android. Then he steps forward, kneeling down and holding his hand out to the Android.

"Here, let me help you."

Even if his offer wasn't accepted he gets the thing to it's feet, checking to see if any damage had been caused by the fall, but there was none that he could see. Which made him wonder, why had those wings suddenly stopped working? Who in the world would have sent him a damaged or incomplete piece of equipment? Not that it mattered, but he wished he had at least some idea.

"Someone sent you to me...but I don't know who. Weird. Do you have a name? I am Sebastien. But I'm called Seb more often."

Being around Androids and other electronics all his life made Seb treat the things like humans, instead of like machines. However, if they ever had anything to do with his father, either ignored them, or just the fact they were of his father's creation. The only things he daily had to do with his father directly was the P.A.I. Adien, and Kit, who was currently being worked on.

"Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"

He looks at the Android, motioning for it to sit on the couch that was in the room. Even though he never admitted it, Seb was always fascinated with these kinds of things. His fingers itched to see why the wings had stopped working. To open the machine up and fix it. He enjoyed that kind of thing, and the reason why he never admitted to this was because it proved he was his father's son.

Another memory suddenly surfaces, of a time when he was seven years old. Seb often got sick when he was young, and still did, a reason why he hadn't moved out of the house. One night he had a bad fever, and couldn't sleep, his father didn't come home until two in the morning. Seb had suffered that whole time, since Kit and Adien hadn't been created yet.

But when his father had arrived, Seb refused to accept his father's care, angry about being left for so long. Seb even rejected the calling of a personal doctor. 'You promised to help me with my homework. But you lied. Plus I'm sick, but all you care about is your stupid work. You never have time for me. Am I not more important than some dumb robot? I hate you!' That was all he said that day, ignoring everything his father had tried the following days to do and make up for his absence.

Sighing, he rubs the side of his face, standing in front of the machine. It was still morning and he already had this much going on. He hadn't even had breakfast yet, or even changed clothing. Seb had a feeling this day would just keep getting more complicated. His hands slip into the pockets of the large robe he was wearing, trying to figure things out, not wanting to deal with things. But he knew he had to.

Zero sat on the bed, looking around the lab silently. This had come to be his home, he'd never even stepped foot outside of that door. All that he knew of the world were from the programs and videos that had been programmed into him. There was some things however, that Fredrick seemed to prefer to tell him personally. Now wanting to ram to much into the A.I. since he originally made it with a small memory bank. The A. I. pushed himself off the bed, and made his way to the door, before sitting in front of it and looking at the handle, waiting for the man to come. That was the first time it ever happened, something inside his mechanics seemed to shift, almost like the tech was soley evolving, growing by itself. He had no idea what it was, but it was like there was this dull, soft ache from within him. Raising a hand to his chest, the boy clenched his hands in his shirt tightly. Is something wrong? Am I broken? The thought process flashed through his mind as he just continued to sit quietly, alone.

He had been active for 7 years, and not once had Fredrick not come to see him. Every single day, the man would come without a doubt. But now it was midnight, and the other had never shown up. The small wings flapped silently for a moment, then the A.I. was moving without sure of what he was doing. Small fingers reached up and took a hold of the door handle, and pulled. Zero poked his head out of the lab, and took in his surroundings. Silence. Nothing could be heard, all of the lights were out so even the A.I. had a hard time getting a proper read on the room. Stepping forward, he stumbled over an unknown object and fell to the floor. His eyes lit up slightly as his wings activated so he could cover without stumbling over what he could not see.

The A.I. managed to make it all the way down to the ground floor, where he stopped in front of the large enterance door which was made of glass. Large eyes took in what he could see through the grass, it looked wet. Something in his registry recognized it as rain. Unknown sounds hit his ears, the sound of cars flying by, the splash of water they made as they hit puddles. Even though it was late, laughter could be heard from the street, people were still out. Stepping forward, the android tried to push open the door, only to find it locked. Without even blinking, his small hand punched through the glass, an instantly a silent alarm was triggered to alert the police. A bear foot stepped through the now shattered glass door and out onto the wet cement of the side walk.

However, Zero only made it a few feet before everything went white as lightening illuminated the sky. His system quickly rushed to register what was happening, but before it could thunder crashed through the night sky. Eyes going wide, the android jerked back, wings going quickly as he propelled himself out of the foreign environment and back into he building. The soaked Android struggled to find somewhere safe, to escape whatever that noise was, in the freenzy it didn't register that he was flying straight for a wall until it was to late and he had already crashed into it.

**One Hour Later**

"Zero, oh, Zero...i'm sorry. What did you do?" Fredricks regretful voice whispered as he stepped into his lab, police had found no intruder. No one knew what had happened, no one but Fredrick. The broken android had hauled himself back upstrairs to the lab, where it deemed was safe. Zero now sat in the corner, with his arms around his knees and head leaning against them. His now limp, and lifeless wings hung from his back. "I'm broken." Was all that the android had replied to Fredrick, who knelt down and wrapped the A.I. in his arms. He already knew that the wings were to damaged, he was not going to be able to fix them without completely redoing the design. So, he never did.

Zero watched the other carefully, something was severely wrong here. Where was his normal owner, the one whose orders he had come to get used to. He looked from the hand that was extended towards him, back up at Sebastien before his prossesors registered it and he reached out, taking the hand gently, because humans were so delicate. Originally he had been built for a young Seb, so Fredrick had only taught him how to be gentle, all of his learned patterns were as such. Using the hand, he stood, taking a moment to balance correctly. Though it was clear that Sebastien was not Fredrick, there was no denying that the two looked extremely familiar. IT was making his scanners go crazy trying to detect what was there.

"Sent me?" The A.I. repeated quietly, taking in the others words. Seb. The name repeated itself internally within him, trying to process the meaning behind it. "Not hurt" He responded, before his system realized it had made an error and corrrected itself as he spoke again, "No, I am not hurt, Seb." Only after he spoke the name, did it finally click. Everything seemed to fit into place now, the androids eyes went wide. This was it, the reason he had been created, his sole purpose. "I will make Sebastien happy." Zero spoke, just before he moved. Pushing himself off of the couch he reached out an wrapped his arms around the human, pushing him back slightly from the force. When he was small, this was how he was taught to hug, however now that he had grown it was a bit more powerful. Which caused the boys to both topple to the floor. But the androids grip didn't falter, as his arms stayed wrapped around the other. "Your father made me for you, I was made to make Sebastien happy." HE spoke, a soft smile on the androids face.

Seb continued observing what the Android was doing, noticing how gently it had accepted his hand, but had not done as told, which was to sit on the couch. Though after a moment it did sit. Something was more than just slightly off about this machine, but he says nothing of it, letting it continue standing or sitting as it wished. A tiny smile forms upon his lips when he was told by the Android it was alright, and not hurt.

"That's good. I am glad you're not hurt. I was worried that fall might have caused some damage, and...wait what?"

Confused by what the Android had said, he stops what he was saying, his eyes opening wide when he was suddenly hugged, the force sending them falling to the floor with a loud crashing sound, Seb landing hard on his back, the Android still holding onto him in a firm hug. What was said next made Seb shove the android off of him, a look of bitterness in his eyes, and all over his face.

He knew his father well. And he highly doubted that the man would go out of his way to make Seb something like this, considering all the time he spent away, not even trying to be a part of his life. Standing up, he straightens his robe, staring down at the machine on the floor, ignoring the smile the thing was giving him. He could tell, just by a tiny margin, that there might be some truth in what it was saying, and that annoyed him more than ever.

"My father made you for me? Ha, as if that selfish bastard would ever do something like that for me. He's nothing more than a pile of lies, broken promises, shattered dreams, and disappointment in my opinion, not capable of looking beyond his work to even spend time wth his own son. So why the hell would a man like that go out of his way to make you for me?"

Crossing his arms over his chest, he sighs, the ends of his bangs fluttering gently from the rush of air. There had to be a mistake here, but for now he had to deal with the problem at hand. Later he could try to find out who the P.A.I. really belonged to. But until then, Seb decided he might as well go along with the robot's claim it had been sent to make him happy.

"First off, if you really want to make me happy, I'd like to know your name. What do I call you? And second...don't hug me. I hate hugs."

It was true, Seb never liked the physical contact that came with an embrace, he just found it uncomfortable, awkward, and down right nerve wrecking. He had never gotten used to any kind of contact like it, be it hugging, kissing, holding hands, the list goes on. So, suddenly being hugged by a Android he knew nothing about was enough to turn his mood sour, though he doesn't let it show, his face having a blank expression.

On his eleventh birthday was when things between his father and himself took a sharper turn for the worst, never to be mended ever again. His father had promised to spend time with him, but suddenly left to go do something, and hadn't come back until the next day. The explination was trash in Seb's opinion, and after that incident, he truly hated his father, the man had broken one too many promises to be trusted again, and as much as Seb could, he avoided talking to his father, ignoring the man ninety five percent of the time.

Standing there, he looks at the Android with disdain, sighing softly. There was no way his father had sent this thing to him. Frederic Blanc was a liar, a promise breaker, and a terrible father. Seb shakes his head softly, unwilling to accept the Android's words. Even if they turned out to be true, he would not accept it. He absolutely refused to do so.

The android was more than caught off guard when it was pushed away, immediately sensing the unhappiness levels in the human. He'd been programmed to learn via repetitive processing, and Fredrick had constantly hugged the A.I. when he was proud of it, or happy with it. So the machine had come to associate hugs, with what was called happiness. If that were the case, then why was the human rejecting the symbol of happiness? He registered vaguely that hugs were also to be a sign of comfort, but the functions had never managed to grasp properly what comfort was. One night when Fredrick had a falling out with his son, he had come back to the office. The A.I. had sensed the discomfort level of the other, and had hugged him tightly in an attempt at consolation.

It sat back for a moment, trying to figure out what was agitating the human so much. Coming up at a loss, it carefully pushed itself up from the ground so it was standing across from the other. Carefully making it's way to the couch so he could sit beside the other. His wings carefully folded into his back, but not without a few clanks of the parts trying to adjusted. Though, when he heard the negative words about Fredrick, the machine reacted. A.I.'s were built to be defensive of there owners, but not exactly to Zero's extent. "Your father was Fredrick Blanc. Your father spent many years and a lot of money to make you a special android. Fredrick was a good man, by the definition of my input, he would be associated with terms such as kind, thoughtful, reliable, and hard working. Such harsh words are not allowed. " There is was, the first major flaw in the A.I. design.

He had been designed originally, when Seb was just a child, so had been made with a teaching program. If he heard Seb cuss, he was programmed to correct him, if he heard Seb speak ill of family, he was programmed to correct him, and so on. The program had been admin locked, so that no one other than Fredrick had the access code to over run it. He hadn't thought far enough into the future to think about what would happen when Seb was a full grown adult and still getting scolded by his A.I. for cussing or the like. Leaning down slowly, he lifted his bare foot to reveal the name 'Zero', scratched angrily into the artifical skin. It looked like someone had tried to write the name by dragging a knife over the skin, the hand writing was absolutely terrible.

"Zero. My name is Zero, the name that Fredrick gave me is Zero. I'm here to make, Seb, happy." He stated once again, a soft smile ever present on his face.

After a short moment, Seb moves to sit on the edge of the couch, sighing softly, once more running his fingers through his hair. His eyes follow the machine's movements, watching as it got up from the floor, and crossed the room, at first standing across from him, before coming to sit on the couch. His irritation only grows more when the Android suddenly chastises him for what he had said about his father.

His eyes narrow, and he clicks his tongue against his teeth, something he often did when irritated, annoyed, or ticked off. Of course something created by his father would think that way about him, say such words of praise. Shaking his head, he lets out a laugh, but there was no humor in it, just cold anger and hatred, obvious and apparent that Seb truly hated his father.

"Yes, well, when I hear about my father, I don't give a damn. To me, and in MY input of definition, he's selfish, horrible, untrustworthy, a man who cares only for his stupid job, and a terrible father! That's what I think, and no robot of his creation is ever going to change what I think!"

He suddenly stands up, his irritation reaching a peak, and it was on the verge of folding and breaking, turning into anger. Hands clenched into fists as he tries to calm himself down, taking deep breaths, chest rising and falling deeply. This was something he knew he could half way rely on, but sometimes it didn't work and he still ended up losing control, doing things he normally didn't, like yelling and breaking things.

Eyes turn to look at the A.I., which had leaned over and pulled up it's foot, showing him the bottom, which had the word 'Zero' scribbled on it, as if someone had chiseled the name there, or a knife dragged across it to write the word there. Looking from the foot up to the face, he nods when the thing introduces itself as Zero, once again going on to say that he was there to make Seb happy.

"Right. Your name is Zero. Well then, Zero, Seb is going to go make breakfast, because Seb is hungry. You can do whatever the hell you want. Come with or just stay here, I don't really care."

Without even waiting to see what Zero chose, he turns and walks away, heading down several hallways towards the kitchen, still fuming from what was going on. So, it seemed the thing had indeed come from his father. Well, looks like sometime that week he would be taking a trip to the main corporation building and giving Zero back. Seb absolutely refused to take this gift, especially since it came from the man he hated so much.

Once in the kitchen, he proceeds to make something to eat, and as he was cutting up some fruit for his oatmeal, his hand slips, causing him to slice open his finger. He yelps in pain, cussing loudly, dropping the knife which falls to the floor. Blood began dripping from the cut to the counter, until he stuck his injured finger in his mouth, moving over to the sink and turning the knob so water flowed. Placing his hand under the stream, he sighs, watching the red flow down the drain, annoyed with himself and this whole mess of a situation he was in.

"And this is why I need Kit. God damn it...why the hell did she have to break?!?"

Kit was his own, self made P.A.I., one he created himself. He designed her to look like his mother, whom he'd only seen in photographs. Seb never admitted this to anyone, it was a secret he trusted to no one. Also, when around Seb long enough, they would come to notice whenever he got in a foul mood, he cursed a lot more than he normally did, especially whenever he spoke about things he hated.

Something inside the android had to be wrong, a sickening feeling was coming from Zero's chest. The small fingers on the machine clenched into small fists as the A.I. processed the current one as something to be upsetting. The lips pursed togehter slightly as he tried to process how to react to the situation. His original programming set him with a calm demeanor since he was basically made to be a childs companion, however the learned emotional development counter acted that, allowing the machien to essentially by pass it's calm settings in situations it deemed suitable. This was one of them. However, before he could properly react, the other was already leaving the room in search of food.

Turning it's head in the direction that the other all but stormed off in, the A.I. frowned slightly, unsure of how to proceed. His purpose was to make the human happy, and the human certainly didn't not seem very happy right now. That had to be rectified. Plucking himself up from the couch, bare feet padded along the flooring, following in the direction that his new human had gone. You will make my boy happy, Zero. Please. The words rang through the machine internally, and the A.I. picked up it's pace. He made it into the kitchen just in time to see the other dice his finger. Zero's eyes widened slightly as he rushed forward, hands extending towards Seb as he did.

He took the others wrist and pulled the wrist towards him so that he could look at the finger. "You cut it? Why would you cut it?" The machine questioned, but didn't five the other a chance to respond as he clasped a hand tightly around Seb's cut finger. "Pressure will make the bleeding stop, do not worry. You are fine, it is fine." The A.I. was currently running through any and all reassurance programs it had, so was likely coming off as extremely worried over a simple diced finger. The androids hands remained on the others finger, making sure not to let go, even if the human struggled. If Seb was bleeding then it was his P.I.A.'s system to fix it, so Zero wouldn't calm down until he was sure that his human had been properly fixed. The fluster he had been in, resulted in a trail of feathers around them, one floated through the air, weightlessly, and landed in Seb's hair.

Things were way too out of balance that day, and Seb was beginning to think it would be better, maybe, if he just went back to bed and slept the whole problematic situation away, and make a fresh start tomorrow. Why in the world things had to end up like this, he had absolutely no clue, and it frustrated him to no end at all. Just as he had stuck his finger under the water, he notices Zero come in the room, who then rushed over to him.

He would have been fine, but suddenly his hand was taken captive by Zero's, a question coming from the machine making him frown. It wasn't like he had cut himself on purpose, what kind of doltish idiot would do something as stupid as that? Seb was about to say this, but didn't get the chance to even form the words in his mouth when Zero clasped a hand tightly around the wounded finger, making him yelp and try to yank his hand back, but the grip was too strong.

Hearing the words of assurance, that he was fine, annoyed Seb. Of course he was going to be fine, it was just a stupid cut! At first he didn't struggle much to make the Android let go, but after a moment his irritation grows more, and he attempts once more to get free of Zero's hold on his hand. Despite the robots appearance, he had a terribly powerful grip, and no matter how hard Seb tried, he could not get himself freed.

"Let go of me damn it! I'm fine, I can take care of myself! I've done so my whole life, and no way in hell is that changing now. LET GO!"

With one final effort, one last try, he yanks his hand back. As he does this, a pop, then a cracking sound could be heard, as a shooting pain laces up his arm from his finger, causing him to shout out and curse at the top of his lungs. His heart pounded in his chest, and his breathing quickened as a pulsating sensation of agonizing pain was felt from his cut, and now broken, finger. He felt like as going to throw up it hurt so badly.

A feather from Zero's wings lands on his hair, the white a startling contrast to his black, but he was completely oblivious to it. Right now, all he could concentrate on was his finger. He glares at the P.A.I., a livid look on his face, appearing to be on the brink of exploding in anger. His whole body shook, trembling as he stood there, no longer struggling. Not once had he raised his fist against Zero, though he easily could have done so. It just wasn't his thing to resort to violence, hurting others wasn't his thing, whether they were human or otherwise. But at that moment, he loses those rational thoughts, and brings his free hand up, threatening to slap Zero.

"Let go of me, right now, or I swear to god I will dismantle your ass and leave you in pieces. You broke my damn finger, you realize that?! You didn't help at all, you only fucking made it worse! I COMMAND YOU TO RELEASE ME RIGHT THIS DAMN SECOND, YOU HEAR ME ZERO?!"

Once he was released, he pulls his hand back, and cradles his injured finger to his chest, turning slightly away from Zero, trying to hide the tears that were now spilling down his face. He looks down at his finger, gritting his teeth at the sight. It looked terribly bent, and the cut was deeper than he thought it was. At least the bleeding had stopped a little bit, and wasn't dripping everywhere. Glancing at Zero, a pained look on his face, Seb sighs. He knew the thing was trying to help...but still. He'd apologize for yelling at Zero later, right now he had to do something about his finger. If the P.A.I. was a bit more careful this time, he'd even be willing to allow it to help. Seb just didn't like being grabbed all of a sudden, that was why he freaked out.

"Damn...it hurts..."

Zero was more than flustered as he watched the human freaking out over the finger, what was he supposed to do in this situation? Hold on to the finger in an attempt to keep the cut closed, but risk elevating the others clearly rising anxiety levels even more, or let go and risk something happening to the finger? The machines eyes widened slightly as he felt the hand in his grasp yank sharply, he was about to warn the human about trying to struggle to much, but before he could get anything out, he felt the deafening 'pop' that came from the finger. His grip instantly loosened as he glanced down at the finger, which was still in his grasp. Small lips parted, as Zero felt something bubbling up inside of his very system core.

He felt the finger ripped out of his grip and made no move to reach for it again, it was clear that the human was unstable right now and it would likely only result in further injury. It became apparent so Zero, how different the boy was from his father, and what he had expected the human to be like. Fredrick, who was always so soft, and kind-hearted, he had a low, deep voice but it had become so familar to the android that it was soothing. "You know, Seb has some problems. But I swear, he is the best little guy you will ever meet Zero. He's so full of talent and intelligence, he can do anything he wants in the world, anything. If he would just apply himself. Zero, he might be a bit tough on you sometimes, but that is my fault, I should have been there for him more. Just know, that he has a kind heart. Be patient with him."

Fredricks words rang through the young androids mind, where was he? Why wasn't he here, he had promised to be the one to take Zero to meet Seb. Zero had been put to sleep many years ago, because of an incident that happened that made Fredrick deem him as to dangerous. Is he, still mad with me? The white haired android thought, his eyes never leaving the still ailing human. He had been to focused on Fredrick, and didn't notice how close he was to being slapped. If he had seen what Seb was about to do, things certainly would have taken a turn for the worse, quickly. The A.I. really was at a loss, how was he supposed to help a human who didn't even want his help?

Clasping his hands together, Zero took a step away from the other. His head tilting forward slightly as he strained to get a good look at the now broken finger, without getting to close to his human. He was all but on his toes, trying to lean in enough to get a proper read of the situation. Later, he would make sure to scold Seb for being so threatening towards him, however for now his only concern was that finger. Taking a cautious step forward, Zero extended one hand carefully towards the human before speaking. "Please? Can I see it? I think it needs to be bandaged and splinted." His voice was soft, his eyes not leaving the others face as he was trying to get this human to understand that he really needed to fix that finger.

Standing there, taking deep breaths, he finally manges to calm himself down completely. Reaching up with his uninjured hand, he wipes away the tears that were falling down his face, drying his skin with the sleeve of his robe, watching as the feather that had fallen on his hair moves, and drifts to the floor. His finger still hurt, yes, but now that he was emotionally stable, it didn't hurt as terribly, and he no longer felt like he was going to vomit anymore.

His eyes move from the feather, to Zero, who had stepped towards him, in a rather cautious manner. Noticing the hand extending towards his own, but he does not back away. Then he hears as Zero speaks to him, asking permission to take a look at his injuries, [o he would be able to fix the problem. For a moment Seb stares at Zero, not moving, not saying anything, just looking straight back into the machine's eyes, holding it'd gaze for what seemed like forever and an eternity.

Then, he slowly extends his hand towards Zero, allowing the other to inspect the injury, letting his hand lay limp in the Android's, not moving a muscle, his expression completely unreadable by that point. This was all that the other had needed to do. Ask, instead of suddenly coming at him, move slowly. That sort of thing made Seb uneasy, causing him to freak out and put walls up so no one could hurt him, but at the same time, no one was able to help him either. Taking a deep breath, he speaks up as Zero looked at his finger.

"I...apologize for yelling at you, Zero, and for saying such rude and cruel things. You see...I...I'm not...um...never mind, forget it. I'm sorry."

Falling silent, he sighs heavily. He'd been about to tell Zero that he wasn't used to people or anything for that matter showing so much concern for him, other than Kit. And even she wouldn't show such extensive worry for a simple cut. Yes, she would have told him things to comfort him, then fix the problem, but nothing to the extreme of what Zero had done. And because of this, he wasn't sure what to say or do, or even how to react properly, so he did what he always did when uncomfortable. Push the other away, decline their offer of help.

After a moment, the kitchen door opens and Adien steps inside, looking at the two, then at the feathers that littered the floor, plus the blood splatters and droplets that could be seen. He asks if something had happened, as he had heard a commotion, but Seb shakes his head. Adien sighs softly, before proceeding to look at Zero questioningly, and asks who it was, not once looking away, his own inner protocol being of the protection of the Blanc estate, and those residing in it, as well as other butler like duties, as Adien was a butler P.A.I.

"Right. Adien, this is Zero. He's going to be staying here for a while. He's not a intruder, you may register him as a house guest. Zero, that is Adien. He was...my father's original P.A.I. before deciding to leave him here as the 'butler' and 'caretaker' of the house."

Adien then nods, bowing slightly at the waist in greeting to Zero, before activating his guest registry program and adding Zero's name and face to the very short list of people who were welcome there. After doing so, Seb dismisses him, saying he may clean up the kitchen later. At these words, Adien bows again, then leaves the room, closing the door behind himself quietly. Seb turns to Zero again, and sighs softly.
