He answered him not wanting to mention how he would had begged to have him back if he'd needed to in those few days they were apart. He didn't like being so sensitive to what the man did and said, he could hurt him horribly if he just wished to. However, Lev couldn't control his feeling on this matter even if he tried. -"I think I'll have the same as you then, just with vanilla instead of mint." ZX-MetalMonster Posted June 16, 2015 Author Share Posted June 16, 2015 Lev was happy things were going well and smiled but didn't say anything about their date, he didn't want to summon any bad luck. He'd already wondered if they would had managed to kill the monster if the hunter had been with them but still thought it was better the man wasn't there and was doing something significant instead. If they hadn't argued that night they might had gone after the beast on their own and he didn't want to imagine how that could had ended. The more he thought about it the more Lev believed everything had played out well. -"None of us were hurt too badly, and we'll get it next time." He was confident they wouldn't fail again, they knew more about the animal now and had already wounded it once. -"We can make a good plan now that we've seen it in battle." "Lev what is the weapon were picking up.." He asked as the food came out. Atlas looked at the Burger it looked so jucy and good fries crunch and a huge milkshake. "Just like I thought it's the same as it use to be..." He sighed happily and stuck a french frie in the shake and took a bite. It was his favorite thing to do as a kid... He said casually as though he was stating a well known truth and then answered the other man's question. "To put it simply, it's an over sized shotgun...it has some useful features, I'm not getting it just because of its size" He tried not to sound like an obnoxious boy who just wanted a giant gun to destroy things with, though he had used the weapon for exactly that in the past. -"Do you want a new weapon?" ZX-MetalMonster Posted June 18, 2015 Author Share Posted June 18, 2015 Lev wanted to protest and try to convince the hunter to choose a different fighting style just while they dealt with this one monster but he knew it was useless. Their team would actually be better balanced with another person fighting at close range and he was aware that forcing anyone to change their method in a battle just makes them less useful. -"Alright, but please take a simple gun at least... you don't have to use it if everything goes well, just keep it with you in case you need it at some point." Lev asked this of the man and didn't bother him about his choice of weapon any more even though he was still worried and unhappy. -" No, it just made me dig, it didn't tell me or show me what it wanted me to find." ZX-MetalMonster Posted June 19, 2015 Author Share Posted June 19, 2015 Lev was satisfied the hunter agreed to his request and smiled at him widely again, nearly repeating his comment from before. -" It's a long drive back and I'm sure the guys don't care we are gone, what do you say we stay until tomorrow?" He suggested instead. The whole ordeal with the monster was constantly on his mind and it became the focus of the conversation whenever he talked to anyone, he wanted at least a few hours to think about something else and get away from it all. His smile grew wider and he laughed quietly for a moment. -"You are hot, and much more buff than me but you're also very cute." He was having trouble seeing himself as a good person at that point, after everything that had been said in their argument and after getting everyone involved in his chase after dangerous monster. -"Maybe we should go get the weapon?" He'd driven there a million times but had never especially thought of what turns he took. His mind was usually on other things while he travelled. -"We can take a few different routes but I'm not sure which will get us there fastest." One of Atlas's favorite songs came on so he decided to sing along. He wasn't the greatest at singing but he wasn't even close to bad, his voice was smooth and calming. It flowed perfectly with the music. "There was a time when I was alone Nowhere to go and no place to call home My only friend was the man in the moon And even sometimes he would go away, too." He sang, his voice ringing in the car. "Then one night, as I closed my eyes I saw a shadow flying high,He came to me with the sweetest smile, Told me he wanted to talk for awhile. And ever since that day......I am a lost boy from Neverland, Usually hanging out with Peter Pan,And when we're bored we play in the woods, Always on the run from Captain Hook.
