He got up to get some soup.

"Why are you guys eating in there?" [/Quote]

Violet shrugged.

"To give you some space. Do you want us to eat with you? "

Kenji Sat back down again, quietly eating. Lost in thought.

"Y-you still going to take me to the orphanage, r-right? "

"I see. aum, you can stay in there if you want.." Abio said, staring at the girl came into the kitchen before regarding Kenji. "After you eat yes," Abio said, nodding at the human who was eating his soup..The demon studied the other's meal, eyeing it strangely"Aum.. afterwards, I might go somewhere with Vlad." The demon tap his fingers against the.table, remembering what the two had agreed to the earlier. "You don't have to come if you don't want..." He only said that incase Kenji would feel un easy around the people they would be with, " but if you do, I'm giving you a permanent mark." He looked up to see the others face "I mean... I don't want to make you feel like you're my bitch or anything. It's just.. I don't want anyone touching you, " He said, slightly glaring at the thought of someone touching what was his.

"Aum.. afterwards, I might go somewhere with Vlad." [/Quote]

Kenji glanced up at him. Putting his spoon down.

"You mean..clubbing? "

"You don't have to come if you don't want.......but if you do, I'm giving you a permanent mark."[/Quote]

A permanent Mark? Kenji was suddenly interested and curious. What could it be? Where would it go?

He blushed. He liked seeing Abou jealous from time to time. And he also liked it when he was Possessive. It was sexy.

"Aum... Yea- clubbing." He studied the other who placed his spoon down before blushing at the next words that Abio said. The demon was a bit surprised that the human didn't straight out say No. Kenji seemed like the type of person that wouldn't want to get any tatoos or having any markings on his body "I'm actually not sure yet.. maybe I'll place some sort of symbol on your neck, " He said, shrugging his shoulders, and frowning because the other felt like he would get in the way, if he went to the club with him, "You do know your my boyfriend right? Why wouldn't I go with you?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, and sighed with a frown.

Kenji bit his lip. He wasn't too sure how he felt about it.

"You do know your my boyfriend right? Why wouldn't I go with you?" [/Quote]

"So you can be with your friends... I'll just stay at the orphanage, and you can go be with your friends.. and tomorrow Moring just come pick me up.

He slowly stood ,putting his bowel and spoon in the sink. He just wanted to see his family again.

"You just go have fun.. "

The human said being a little distance.

Abio rose from his seat before pulling the human close to him and biting his lip teasingly for a moment, "We will go and see your mother together," The demon said in a whisper, kissing the other softly before staring into his eyes, "Okay?" He said, his face only inches away from the others. The demon was actually not too fond of other humans, he really only liked Kenji, but he was curious to what would happen when Kenji saw his mother again. "let.. me get you something to drink," Abio moved away from Kenji before opening the fridge, and getting a glass cup from the cupboard. He poured his boyfriend from grape juice before handing the cup to him. "So.. wanna go now?... are you still refusing that I stay with you?" He asked the other, waiting for his responce.

Abio rose from his seat suddenly pulling Kenji close to him and biting his lip teasingly, the humans eyes widened, blushing.

"Ah- Aboi.."

Embarrassed that his friends would see.

"We will go and see your mother together,"[/Quote]

He whispered, before softly kissing him. The Human felt rather powerless against him. It was really hard to tell the other no.

Aboi's face only inches away from His, making his heart race.

"let.. me get you something to drink,"[/Quote]

"A- Abio I'm fine really.."

But his boyfriend moved away, getting him a glass cup and pouring him some grape juice. He sighed as it took it , drinking. It was kind of cute how the other kept watching over him.

"So.. wanna go now?... are you still refusing that I stay with you?"[/Quote]

Kenji looked at the ground.

"Lets go now... and you can come, but...I'll stay at the orphanage.... tonight I just...I just Want you to be with your friends... You haven't seen them in so long and.. I'd just be in the way...besides...I don't really...belong in a club.."

He muttered putting his glass down.

The demon blinked, feeling strange about all of this. He wasn't use to just hanging out with other people without his boyfriend, he was use to his boyfriend always being by his side "Aum.... if that's what you really want?" He said, staring at his boyfriend who was looking at the ground, "It'll be strange not having you with me..." Abio said softly, shoving his hands in the pockets of his jeans. "But fine.." He said, stepping back a bit to give the other some room,

 

"Let's go.." Abio kissed the others forehead before wrapping his arm around him and leaving the kitchen, "Vlad, and Violet. Kenji, and I are going to the orphanage." Abio said, leading his boyfrined to the door, "And no Vlad.. you can't eat them," The demon said just incase, and he glared at him but sightly smirked. "I'll see you guys later..." After said that, Abio open and left out the door with Kenji to get into his car.

That's right...ever since they started this relationship, they hadn't been apart. They were always by each other's side.

Kenji couldn't help but feel like the other was maybe... sad and disappointed in him, but since they started dating he has barely went to the orphanage, which he use to go to everyday after school and quit his job. He really just wanted to go back home again and see his family.

"Let's go.." [/Quote]

Kenji smiled a little feeling the other kiss His forehead and wrapping his arm around him.

"Okay.."

"Vlad, and Violet. Kenji, and I are going to the orphanage....And no Vlad.. you can't eat them, I'll see you guys later..." [/Quote]

"Yeah Yeah alright...hurry back ass hole."

He smirked.

Mis.Fair hugged Kenji tightly.

"I've been waiting to talk to you, but I know you didn't have a phone. So much has happened! About two weeks ago the orphanage got an amazing donation. It saved this place! "

"R-really that's amazing.. mom."

Mis.Fair pulled back smiling softly, hearing Kenji call her mom.

"Its been so long since I heard you call me that.."

"Sorry I haven't been by in so long...Where are the kids?"

"There in the back yard playing... but a lots changed since your last visit..--oh..you brought him again."

Mrs.Fair finally noticed Aboi standing behind Kenji. She gave him a small smile.

"Aboi.. was it?...

She bit her lip looking at Kenji.

"So your still.. dating? "

"Yes.. But what's happened since I've been..away?"

The women stared at Aboi for a moment, before her eyes fell to Kenji.

"Oh..Well, come into the kitchen for some tea... and I'll tell you. The kids should be in shortly, you May too."

Kenji looked back at his boyfriend. He knew Mrs.Fair didn't really like or approve of him.

 

"A lot of the kids have been adopted..Nora, Cara, Toma, Shuira, it's been.. hectic.. but with the donation money I was able to not only save this place but build a actual play ground for the children, and I'm going to get some new kids next month..."

"What about Timmy? Is he still here? "

"oh...yes.. he's still here but...Kenji... he's not doing so well.. you know he's been sick since he was born.."

Kenji looked at the ground.

"Yeah I know...wow.. s-so much has happened.. I never even got to say goodbye to them.."

"You'll still be their big brother Kenji.. "

She gave the boy some tea.

"Do you want some? "

Abio nodded half heartedly at the women that said his name. The demon gave the women a blank stare as she asked Kenji if he was still dating while bring her lip. his hands were shoved in his pocket as he stood there; He was unphased at the way she had asked the other that question, not caring how she truly felt about their relationship, and just followed Kenji into the building to go into the kitchen. He didn't really care if the middle aged women thought he was strange or felt he wasn't good enough for her son. The only human he thought was worth impressing was his boyfriend,.

Abio stared at Kenji, shaking his head with a soft smile while they were in the kitchen. The demon didn't really look at Mrs. Fair or tell her Hi, he just stared at Kenji. "So.. these kids must really love, and look up to you, huh?" He asked Kenji.

Mrs. Fair frowned slightly before sitting near Kenji.

"Oh..y-Yeah.."

He smiled softly at his boyfriend.

"Kenji.. why don't you go visit Timmy. I'm sure he'd love to see you. He's disappointed right now because he's on those machines again..Things.. aren't looking so good for him. "

Kenji bit his lip..

"Alright..."

He slowly left the room, leaving Mrs.Fair and Aboi in the kitchen. The women, didn't look at Aboi, slowly drying the dishes.

Abio gave Mrs. Fair a disinterest look, sitting there for a moment before rising from his chair and following after Kenji. The demon yawned a bit, scratching his head as he went upstairs, down a hallway and found Kenji in a room with a small boy that appeared to be sick. "Kenji..."Abio poked the human in the back of the head.

Kenji sighed staring at the small boy. He was only 12 and had black hair and grey eyes. He was wearing pj's and was hooked up to 2 devices, one helped him breathed, a mask over his mouth, and the other was a needle in his wrist, pushing water into his blood stream.

"Kenji..."[/Quote]

Abio poked him in the back of the head. The human turned around with sad eyes.

"Oh,.aboi.."

He looked back at the boy.

"He's...pailer then I remember...and thinner too... He's been battling cancer..since he got here."

Timmy was asleep, and looked to be in pain.

"He's always smiling tho...he's so much stronger than me.."

He looked at his boyfriend.

"I'm sorry. Did you want something? "

Abio stared down at the ill boy, only frowning because Kenji was upset, not because there was a ill boy suffering from cancer as he laid in bed. Abio could still be heartless when he wanted to. It was wrong, but that's just how the demon was at times. All he cared about was Kenji. He didn't like seeing his boyfriend so sad, it was something he always hated."...." The demon actually contemplating healing the boy just to see his boyfriend smile, but he wasn't sure if he should though... "Does he really mean that much to you?" The demon asked, knowing it was a stupid question, but he had asked it anyway. Abio sighed, standing there as he watched the sick by slowly dying from cancer. I guess I can slowly heal him instead of doing it all at once, so it won't be suspicious., but later in life when this kid grows up, he will owe me something.. He thought. "Forget I said that... that was so dumb, I'm sorry," Abio frowned, rubbing the back of his head as he began to sweat. Maybe he should just do it, and don't inform his boyfriend about any of it.

"I'm sorry to hear that..." Abio said in a sad tone, placing his hand on his boyfriend's shoulder, trying to comfort him. "But Maybe he'll get better.." He said with a weak smile, running his fingers through his boyfriends hair, "You never know..." Abio pulled him into a hug holding the human close.

Kenji listened. And was a little shocked hearing the other ask if he cared about Timmy. Of course he did. Every child in the orphanage was like his family, but he didn't bother to say anything because Aboi quickly apologized, hugging him. Kenji bit his lip.

"Aboi..you should get going. "

He pulled back.

"I'm sure Violet and Vlad are waiting. Go clubbing with them.. have fun. I'm gonna stay here for the night."

He slowly walked over to the window, looking outside to see all the children playing on the play ground.

"I haven't been here in so long...I want to stay, "

He smiled a little. Remembering bits and pieces of his childhood.

"Just come pick me up Tomrrow...okay? Besides, I wanna be the first thing Timmy sees when he wakes up. Play with him a bit and the other kids, plus... I just.. wanna be around mom again, just for a little bit, y-you understand...right? "

He looked at his boyfriend. He was going to stay, and Aboi was going to leave.

"Yeah.. okay," Abio rubbed his boyfriend's head before kissing him on the cheek, "I guess, I'll see you later..." The demon stepped away from his boyfriend, glancing at Timmy for a moment before leaving out of the room. The demon descended down the stairs before popping his head in the kitchen, "Bye..." He said flatly, and disspeared out of sight. Not even giving Kenji's mom a chance to tell him bye.

 

Abio sighed, getting into his car, and starting it up before driving off down the road back to his house.

Kenji smiled at his boyfriend, watching him go. Being in the orphanage was odd. He was use to it.. however since he moved in with Aboi, I was also use to being with his boyfriend.

 

Kenji headed downstairs just as the kids came into the house. The children all lit up seeing Kenji again. Running to hug him and tug on his clothes. He laughed and played with the children all day long. He had missed his family, he ate dinner with Mrs.Fair and the kids, however his mother had to send them off to bed, but him and Mrs.Fair stayed up laughing for hours, until it was very late.

 

"I've missed you. When did you grow up so fast? "

She said sadly and softly.

"I don't know... "

"...Kenji.. about that boy.. Aboi. "

Kenji looked at his mom.

"I worry about you. Something just doesn't seem right about him. I can't put my finger on it but.. he gives me this bad feeling. Does he treat you right? I know you've moved in with him... He doesn't...hurt you right? "

"Mom.. He's.. a little rough around the edges but he's a really great boyfriend.. and no.. h-He doesn't hurt me. He loves me... try not to worry to much. I'm safe.. and happy. "

His mother sighed. Glancing at the clock,

"My gosh it's late, "

"Yeah, Ill go to bed. I'll see you in the Moring. Love you.."

He hugged her and let Mrs. Fair kiss His forehead.

"Oh- what's this? "

She stared, touching the bite Mark on Kenji's neck. The human quickly covered it with his hand pulling away, shy and embarrassed.

"T-this? It's nothing I just... scratched my neck on a branch."

She squinted her eyes,

"That doesn't look like a scratch..it looks like a bit Mark."

"O-Oh..r-really?"

"Kenjj--"

"Night Mrs,Fair!"

He hurried up the stairs to escape the conversation.

 

"..Kenji?"

Kenji stopped in the hall way hearing his name. He peeked into Timmy's room, the door cracked.

"T-Timmy? Your awake."

"Your here. You never come anyone so I thought... you didn't like us any more. "

Kenji's eyes widened, He quickly came into the boys room, closing the door behind him.

"That's not true, that would never happen Tim. I love you and all the other kids and mom. Your my family..."

He paused, sitting near his bed.

"How are you feeling?"

Timmy shrugged.

"Okay I guess.. I can't sleep tho... I.. I saw you playing outside with the others... I miss going outside. I'm always stuck in this room."

"But not forever...You'll get better Timmy. You'll beat this.."

"No body wants me... I'm sick... and I'll probably die soon.. I won't ever have a mom and dad."

"Tim.. You are a great kid, sick or not.. I'd adopt you if I could. And even if you never get adopted like me.. you know that your not alone. You got Mrs.Fair.. and all your brothers and sisters And me...we're your family. It's not where you come from, its we're you belong. Your surrounded by love and your wanted... so never feel alone, You will always be- right where you belong.. ok?"

Kenji stood.

"Wait! "

He grabbed his wrist.

"B-big brother.. will you sleep in my room tonight? ... p-please? "

His voice shaky. Kenji smiled and hugged him gently as he cried a little.

"Yeah...your breathing heavy, but your mask back on and go to sleep.. I'll sleep on the floor. "

 

And it didn't take long for the two to fall fast asleep... however later that night... at 4:37 am... Kenji woke up to a horrible sound. One of the Timmy's machines was going off. He sat up fast and screamed when he saw the small boys body twitching like crazy. He was having a seizure.

"M-MRS FAIR!!! MRS. FAIR!!! C-CALL 911!

Kenji stood outside the orphanage, holding his mom who was frantic and trying to grab at Timmy's dead body as the paramedics zipped him up in a black body bag.

"TIMMY!! No god, why!!! My baby! My poor baby!!"

She sobbed historically. The only thing Kenji could do.. was slightly cry.. and hold his mother... a few of the children were outside, the young ones not understating what was happening.

"K-Kenji? Where are they taking Tim?"

"He's coming back right? "

"Mommy why are they putting tim-tim in a bag he has to breath! Mommy! Why are crying mommy. Big brother what's wrong with mommy??!!!"

 

It hurt... how do you explain to a 4-7 year old.. that their loved one.. was never.. ever coming back.

"H-He seemed fine!... He seemed fine Just a few hours ago! I.. I don't understand...h-He was just here.... "

He muttered. Crying softly. Life.. was so unfair.

At 9am Abio slammed his alarm clock with his fist, groaning at the sunlight that seeped in through the window above his headboard. He pushed back the covers glaring and blinking as he slowly gotten out of bed to go into the bathroom and wash up. He almost panicked last night when he woke up because his boyfriend wasn't laying next to him. After quickly remembering that he had slept over at the orphanage, he had began to calm down before going back to sleep. While sleeping, he was completely oblivious to what had happened at the orphanage early in the morning due to Kenji still not having a phone. That was something he really needed to get the boy incase of emergencies.

 

The demon sighed at he glanced at himself in the mirror, washing his face before turning of the knobs and leaving the bathroom to heading towards the door. Vlad and Violet were downstairs in the guest room, they were probably still down there resting. Abio feet stepped lightly down the stairs, not wanting to wake the others as they made there way towards the kitchen. He didn't see the vampire or his ex anywhere in sight, or bothered to check on them. "I guess I'll make- just Violet breakfast?" The demon said to himself, unsure. He shrugged his shoulders before taking a pan out of the oven and setting it on the Stove. It was the least he could do since the girl made her boyfriend soup, and bought the ingredients for it. "hopefully this comes out right, and I don't burn anything..." Abio began preparing breakfast for the half-demon, trying to make eggs, bacon and toast for her without burning the house down. The food wasn't coming out right though, which led to the smoke detector going off, making a sharp beeping sound that should have woke his guest. "Fuck." Abio covered his ears with the palms of his hands...

"What the heck are you doing?!"

Violet ran down the stairs, coughing a little as she inhaled the burning food. She quickly opened the window and put out the food, throwing it in the sink and down the garage disposal.

"You suck at cooking! Why we're you even cooking? "

"Yeah, you probably could of burnt the house down with us inside it."

Vlad laughed. Tossing himself on the living room couch.

Violet sighed still wearing her black night gown. Her hair a sexy wild mess.

Abios quickly turned towards Violet, still holding his hands over his ears as she opened the window, sounding upset at his stupid actions and got rid of the food, "I've done this before, I don't know what happened! And I was cooking for-" Abio spoke loudly over the alarm, turning his nose up at the awful smell before cutting himself off, "...F-forget it!" Abio quickly switched off the knob above the stove, waving his hand at the smoke.

 

The demon quickly made his way into the living room to try and breath;, coughing, taking in fresh air before smacking Vlad in the back of the head for not helping. He then stepped on his own couch, fanning the smoke detector on the ceiling with a towel until it stopped beeping, "Why do those damn things always have to be ear shattering, " Abio complained, sighing loudly before jumping down and looking for his keys as his hands went in his pockets, " I have to go pick up Kenji, don't do anything crazy while I'm gone," Abio mostly looked at Vlad, rolling his eyes at the vampire," With that said, the demon first went and got an air fresher from the bathroom, plugging it into the living room wall to try and rid some of the smell before leaving out the door.

Vlad laughed out loud as Violet came into the room

" I have to go pick up Kenji, don't do anything crazy while I'm gone," [/Quote]

"Alright. "

"You got it, "

He mutter.

They watched their friend leave. Vlad waving miraculously. Once he was gone, the vampire looked to the witch.

"Wanna mess with Aboi. "

"Oooohhh- No don't you involve me in your games."

Opening the car door to his truck, Abio hopped inside before turning it on and backing out the drive way. The demon drove to the orphanage, but as he was approaching it. Abio heart slammed against his rib cage and he looked horrified at seeing an ambulance take off down the street. T-that could'n't be- For a second, he imagined Kenji in there but When Abio's eyes caught sight of Kenji holding his mother close as she wept, he took a deep breath. "Oh Thank God..." Abio hand clenched at his chest. breathing slowly as he tried to calm down. The demon pulled up infront of the orphanage before getting out of car, and slamming the door to rush over to the human.

 

Making his way too the human who was trying to comfort his mother that clinged to him. Abio didn' seem concern about her, the kids or whoever was in the ambulance at the moment. His brows furrowed as his lips curled into a frown. he looked more upset by how hurt Kenji looked. "A-are you alright?" Abio asked his boyfriend while approaching, having the urge to wrap him in his arms and hold in but his mom was doing that.

Kenji didn't know what else to do, other then continue to hold his crying mother, trying to be strong. But he felt his strength wavering seeing Aboi's car pull up into the orphanage.

A...aboi--

He stared at him... Pain in the humans eyes and sadness. He bit his lip as the demon rushed over to him. Abio didn't seem too concern about her, the kids or whoever was in the ambulance at the moment, which worried him. Why did he only care about him? What made him so special?

"A-are you alright?" [/Quote]

He said, approaching him. Kenji eyes fell to Mrs.Fair.

"I'm...not sure..."

He spoke to his mother.

"Lets get you inside."

He glanced at his boyfriend, trying to be strong for his mother and the other kids, but inside he was breaking down. He desperately wanted to throw himself into Aboi's grasp and cry, but couldn't.

After 4 hours, his mother fell asleep and he got the children to head to there rooms while Mrs.Fair slept. Kenji sighed as he stood in the kitchen, and covered his face as he quietly started to sob.

"W..why.. why Tim! I-it's all my fault... I couldn't save him... I.. I just..I just watched him die!"

His voice frantic and cracking. His tears running down his cheeks. He blamed himself.

Abio held the human close as they stood in the kitchen, and he began breaking down while covering his face "I know you feel like it's your fault but it isn't... You'll always feel like you coudl've done something for that person, but there are just some things you can't fix.." The demon whispered, rubbing small circles into the others back. He also noticed that the human didn't get much sleep when he had saw his face, "I'm going to put you to sleep soon.." Abio knew that the human would probably object and want to stay up incase his family awoken or to make sure they were alright, but Abio was going to do it anyway.

Kenji shock his head.

"N-No! No no. I.. I can't. I can't sleep.. I.. I have to stay awake.. make sure everyone's ok.."

He tried to pull away from his boyfriend. Struggling to wipe his tears away.

"I -I'm fine! I have to be strong I can't.. I can't cry! "

He sniffles.

"Let go of me- I.. I need to cook dinner.."
