Age:21 Appearance: Yuki is very pale skinned and has jet black hair that reaches just below his ears, his bangs sweep across and end at the eyebrow level at one side. Yuki has contacts but finds himself losing them so he prefers his old thin black frame glasses although their prescription level is a little to low for him, he's rather tall for his age and is underweight due to financial issues. Backstory: due to a kidnapping in his neighborhood he moved out to the shop that his grandfather had left him in his will and decided to continue the business by himself so he wouldn't end up on the street due to the fact that he was living with his grandmother who had become fatally ill, knowing that once she was put in the hospital she wasn't going to be coming out he decided that it was time to began supporting himself -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a day like any other nothing seemed to be abnormal to Yuki,just like any other day he turned the open sign on that hung in the window of the small shop.With a heaving sigh Yuki flooped into his hair leaning back into it,he was reminded that he still hadnt taken out the trash as he caught sight of the garbage bag beneath the desk,atleast it wasnt that bad out he thought to himself as hestood up iting the garbage bag over his shoulder before heading to the back of the shop opening a door that lead to the alley where the dumpster was located.Yuki had always made a game out of the small task, the objective was to tos the garbage bag as hard as he could and get it in the dumster from the back door of the shop ,usaully he would get it the garbage bag in the dumpster,but today something caught his eye causing him to loose his foucus,letting go of the garabge bag causing it to crash into the brick wall that was behind the dumpster lucky the bag didnt tear and all the garabage was still within the garbage bag.Heading towards the dumpster he remebered seeing something that had caught his eye pushing the bag aside he revaled a ealistic robot unlike anything that he had sen before,brushing the silk like strands of hair away from the eyes he heard the robot restarting causing him to stumble backwards falling back onto his rear. Silver eyes, like fog, with flecks of electric blue. His right eye has a thin, white scar down it cutting a lighting blue pattern on his eye. Backstory: Designed as the "perfect companion" the V02 was programmed to meet all of its human's needs. An excellent protector and a more than capable servant, the only flaw it its system was its constant need to be by its human's side, malfunctioning if kept apart for too long. But before it could be fixed the war broke out and the idea was scraped, in favor of advancing weaponry, or something. Deactivated and discarded, the laboratory around him fell to waste and he lay untouched until someone stumbled across him and accidentally activates him, making V02 recognize him as his new master ------------------- V02 awoke with a gasp, registering the gentle touch across his forehead. Human contact registered. Must identify new Master. He sat up, blinking his eyes as he attempted to orientate himself only to feel a weird numbness in his right eye. There must be some damage, though I can see clearly He looked around I am in a garbage bin, how did that happen? As he felt his systems come fully online, he attempted to stand, only to fall onto the ground. He felt a gaze upon him and looked up. There in front of him was his new Master, and he would do everything in his power to satisfy him. He was tall, well taller then him, with a lean build, partly due to being malnourished I must fix that. Feed my Master. Make him happy. Noticing that he had no yet introduced himself he made to stand up, only to realize that he had no clothes on. Oh well. I guess it can't be helped. He reached out his hand to help his Master stand, "Hello, I am V02, though you may name me what you will, if you so desire. How may I be of service to you, Master?" "O-oh you don't need to call me that my name is Nobu Yuki, but just call me Yuki." Yuki pondered for a moment or so before realizing that by the number of the model he must have been here for ages. "Please keep me company, first things first though you seem to have taken some damage or at least I assume you have, have been behind that dumpster for a few years I'm guessing, I'm going to bring you into my shop I'm sure that I can find some replacement parts in there." Yuki picked up V02 with a bit of struggle but managed to carry him back to the shop without dropping him again, once he reached the front of the shop he placed V02 into the chair gently and began to route through his desk pulling out a small tool box. "About your name, not to be rude I do want to rename you but that's because your deserve one...I was thinking of naming you Raven, do you like the name?" Yuki began placing a few differently sized screwdrivers onto the desk before grabbing some wire and a few light bulbs along with a pair of wire cutters and benders. "please hold still I don't want to create more damage then what has already been done to you." Yuki stated as he walked back to the chair where the other was located, Yuki began to unscrew a cover that he found at the back of the other neck and gently removed the back part of the scalp revealing two separated circuits each with a light bulb but only one was lighted up. So he began to work carefully removing the broken light bulb replacing it before placing the scalp back on and putting the screws back into their places. "Is that better." Master's name is Yuki, Master Yuki He tried not to show his discomfort, as his circuits were in bad shape, but he kept silent so as not to worry Master-Yuki with his groans of pain. As such, he was unable to respond when his Master suggested a name. Raven... I like it. The sensation of having his circuits reset always filled him with a delighted buzz, making him more energetic then usual. When his Master finished his repairs, he felt much better. He turned to his Master, "Master Yuki, thank you. You have helped me and have given me a name. As your loyal companion, Raven, it is now my duty to fulfill your every need and desire. I would also now like to express my gratitude for your kindness. What would you like me to do for you?" He looked down at himself, still completely naked, "May I trouble you for some clothes, Master Yuki? Or would you rather have me as I am?" He looked up at Yuki through his lashes, "After all I am designed to be fully functional, Master Yuki." Raven rested his hands on his lap, covering his privates as he waited for his Master's command. Oh and just call me by Yuki you have no need to all me such a thing." Yuki paused as the other asked him what his first task should be. "What you should do for me?...I guess keep me company and help me with the shop would be nice."Yuki patted Raven's shoulder softly. "Sure but for now one of the old uniforms will have to do until I can get you some more comfortable clothes at the end of the working day." Yuki stood up and went to a cabinet in the shop and unlocked it taking a uniform set out of it before locking it once more, Yuki walked back to Raven and handed him the uniform. "I hope this will fit you...I just grabbed the same clothing size that I wear it's a little bigger than what I should wear but I find it a bit more comfortable." My other masters couldn't keep their hands of me, this is Rather new. I am curious though. Maybe he's already in a relationship, or maybe he's just dense? He glanced around the shop Hmmm, judging from the state of this place, it's clear that he is on his own here. And being able to take proper care of a machine like me, he's definitely not stupid. I guess it just isn't his thing. He turned towards his master, "Yuki, I've finished changing. Thank you for the loan. I intend to fully pay back your kindness in any way I am able. Yuki looked at the clock time seemed to be passing by quickly and it was now time for a lunch break which was an hour long. "Its now lunch if you wish to help me I guess you can help me prepare the rice....by the way do you eat?" Yuki was curious if Raven just recharged or if he needed to eat just like him.Yuki gently held the others wrist and gently pulled him along to the small kitchen . "I'm not very good at cooking but maybe one day I'll learn a bit more." Yuki smiled softly at the other before going over to the cupboard and grabbing three bowls one to wash the rice in and the other two for serving it the rice cooker was already on the counter." So different from my other masters Blinking away such memories, he answered Yuki's question, "I am capable of eating, though i do not require it. And as i have been programmed to complete every task assigned me, I am a capable cook, though..." he gazed at him shyly, "I wouldn't mind eating whatever Yuki makes." He helped make lunch, enjoying the companionable silence that fell between them, though Raven couldn't help but sneak glances at Yuki. Master looks lonely, though he also doesn't seem the type to say so. I must do whatever it takes to make him happy "I hope you don't find me too forward, but you look beautiful, younger when you smile. You seem like you've suffered many hardships in the past- yo-you have no obligation to tell me anything! I just wish to be the cause of more of your smiles in the future, if you'll let me." Yuki gave out a small chuckle and set the timer on the rice cooker as they began to wait he couldn't help but notice how the other kept glancing at him but said nothing not wanting to offend Raven, but eventually the silence was broken by the others sweet words which caused a small blush to appear apron Yuki cheeks. "O..oh thank you.... your very cute yourself." Yuki smile slightly and turned off the rice cooker as it beeped and placed the rice into the two bowls. "a..a.childhood was a little rough on me if you were wondering" Yuki set the table and waited for raven to get to the table before eating." Master thinks I'm cute A slow blush spread across his cheeks, even as he noticed the blush on Yuki's. The moment was broken by the beeping of the timer, Yuki serving the rice afterward. As Raven moved to sit down, he heard Yuki's words. Childhood? I wonder what a young Master would look like? Raven smiled as the image flooded his imagination. Still, Master seemed saddened when he mentioned it. I must help him in any way possible. After saying a quick "thanks for the meal", Raven turned toward Yuki, "I would like to make it clear that I have no desire to cause you pain. So if you would rather not bring up painful memories, I won't hold it against you. However, as you are my new Master, it is now my duty to serve you, and I feel that I would be able to do that better if I know as much about you as possible. Once again, it is your choice, but I want you to know that as of this day, your pain is my pain, your joy joy mine, and your satisfaction my purpose." He realized that as he said this, he had grasped Yuki's hands in his. Blushing from his rather insubordinate action, he let go, turning back toward his meal. Yuki sat his bowl and spoon down on the table it seemed that the young male had suddenly lost his appetite. "I know that you didn't mean to bring up a sensitive topic, I'm just happy that your keeping me company and listening to me... if I ever do need to talk about that sort of thing I'll let you know." Feeling Raven grab his hand caught I'm slightly off guard his cheeks tinting a pale shade of pink. He fell to the floor, covering his ears, as he screamed, "The Creators! They've come to throw me away! Yuki! Deactivate me! Quick! The can't find me if I'm deactivated. Then hide me! Anywhere! I-I could take it out and brake it ..." Yuki heard some loud thumping out side and quickly deactivated him putting a timer on it to reactivate in about an hour by itself he didn't come back. We have a few questions we would like to ask him, regarding possible stolen technology. "You see, we have picked up the signal of a previously destroyed prototype, and are now scanning the entire surrounding area. As you are the only resident for miles, we would like your permission to do a quick sweep of the premises. "Hello I am Nobu Yuki the manger of this establishment, alright no problem come in." Yuki opened the door for the man a small servant bot running up to the man tugging softly on his pant leg. "I am Micro Bot 1.2." The small robot circled the man doing little figure-eights around him. "Well I did find some parts rear by the dumpster and installed them in that little fellow, could it be that your scanner picked up this little guy?" Yuki had made this robot with his grandfather when he was a child his grandfather at the time was working with Beacon t his company but was fired due to a funding shortage but he took the half built robot that he was working on after getting permission to do so. "You see when my grand father was still alive he was given the robot he was working on as a farewell gift, so later on in his life he opened this shop and we finished building the robot together. Liam left with a polite nod, Mr. Beacon turned toward Yuki, "Mr. Nobu, are you the grandson of Nobu Hiroshi, perchance? He was a great scientist, we were sorry to lose him. Though, seeing as you were taught by him, you'd probably be a pretty impressive cyber-mechanic yourself. "Yes I am his grandson, its fine I know you didn't have the choice to keep him as an employee, he did teach me a lot in his days...your not using the same chips built out of mostly copper are you I've figured out that there are a lot of problems with the chips that are made out of copper." Yuki fiddled with his brackle decked out of buttons turning on a latch-and-heat bug on his desk to latch onto liam and melt thought the outer layer in a very small hole moving inside the android melting as many essential wires as possible before blowing up undetectably. Remembering the previous conversation, he shrugged, there was no reason for alarm. If the prototype was here, it was probably all scrapped by now. Doing a final sweep, he returned, nodding an "all-clear" at Mr. Beacon. "Sorry, to have kept you waiting, Mr. Nobu. We will be on our way now. Thank you for your cooperation," he handed him a business card, "If you ever need a job, or if you just want to talk, I'm more than willing to assist. Your grandfather was a good man, I owe him at least this much." He left as suddenly as he came, Liam at his heels. When they were outside hearing range, he turned to Liam, "The entire shop was buzzing with that technology, wasn't it?" Liam nodded, "But as he's that man's grandson, it'd make sense. Would you like me to go again tonight?" Mr. Beacon pondered it for a moment, "No, not yet, give him a few weeks to get comfortable. We'll need to catch him red handed in order for it to hold up to the Boss's nitpicking. Though it won't be too long, if he does have it this week will be his last as a freeman. After all, I don't like having others play with my toys, even the broken ones." They made their way back to the office, leaving Yuki alone in the shop. "Raven..im going to have to remove your tracker chip..although I'll have to do it while your activated...which is very dangerous so tell me if you sense any sudden changes in programs or and possible chances of being shocked." He meant to ask, but had to wait while Yuki removed and destroyed the tracker chip. Although the operation was extremely painful, he did his best to hide his grimaces and whimpers of pain, though he's sure that it didn't fool Yuki at all. When the chip was finally removed, he let out a relieved whimper, which he quickly tried to cover with a cough. "Thank you, Yuki. You didn't have to do that. Already, I have caused you more trouble than help. I have failed as a companion, it would be in your right to hand me over." His brave words were ruined by the cracks in his voice, his hands starting to shake as he remembered his former Master. Trying the contain the sudden emotions taking his body with dry sobs, he turned to leave, "I am more trouble then I'm worth, I'll go throw myself away, so you won't be blamed." "I'm sorry if it hurt." Yuki's eyes widened as the other said that it would be better if he threw himself away, Yuki opened his mouth to say something his mind filled with mixed emotions but before he could say anything the other began to run away but he quickly ran after him and grabbed his arm. "N-no I want you to stay if I didn't care for you why would I have been doing such things?... also Raven... I... I think I love you." Yuki blushed darkly pulling Raven into a hug. Hearing Yuki's kind words, a blush rose on his face, turning completely red when Yuki confessed that he might be in love with him. Master.... loves me? A startled noise escaped his lips as he returned Yuki's embrace, tears in his eyes. "No one has said that to me before." He snuggled in even closer, letting out a shuddering breath, as he breathed in Yuki's scent. "I think I love you too, Master. I promise, I will do everything I can to make you happy. I won't ever leave you!" He looked up into Yuki's eyes, leaning forward slowly to whisper, "Thank you, Yuki." "Really no one has told you that?..." Yuki felt a small amount of sadness run over him. "I'm glad I don't want to be alone again." Yuki smiled . " I feel all fuzzy inside and warm."
