Name: Kaito Yokozumi

Age: 24

Kaito's mother dies during birth, which left Kaito alone with his farther, the King. Throughout Kaito's life, his Father taught him the ways of becoming King. It wasn't until Kaito was sixteen, when his father went off to war against an old enemy Kingdom. Luckily enough, Kaito had become of age to take the role of the throne. Of course, at sixteen, he was hoping he wouldn't have to. In fact, Kaito was a very distant child and never really opened himself up to others.

Now as the King of his Kingdom, Kaito ruled it as a stubborn and cruel King. He would never hurt his people, he just wasn't fair to them. Kaito, now twenty-four years old is looking for two men to serve under him. To protect his arrogant self. His guards were to protect him, become his shield. So that he could escape safely.

Katsumi looked up at the tall stone walls of the inner castle and rolled his eyes, these places always made him want to laugh, they were just statements of money and power but this one was funnier than that. This castle wasn't a statement of the Kings power, no, this was his fathers power. He let out a light chuckle, the sound making the passing women turn and blush slightly at the light wink he gave them.

Starting through the gates he adjusted the position of the sword on his back, he didn't need it at the moment in these areas and carrying it at his hip was just a nuisance. He had no other possessions on him other than the white and brown robes he wore embroidered with soft gold trims and the gold in his pocket. He had sold all his armour when he set out across the land wanting the money rather than the weight and had sold his horse a few days travel back not wanting to spend his last few days of true freedom on the back of a horse but instead walking on the soft ground and bathing in the cool waters under the warm sun, feeling the wind on his face and watching the stars above him as he slept. He smiled and walked through the gates into the streets of people and tall stone buildings that tilted over the path blocking some of the sun. The street stalls sold everything from stolen armour and blades to grown vegetables and hand sown cloth. Spotting a silver necklace Katsumi approached the stall, he fingered the thick braid of the silver and picked up the heavy metal encrusted with black opal. The thick silver unclasped at the back and was only long enough to be a chocker for a women, around where it would sit upon ones neck bone it expanded and weaved downwards into a sort of triangle with a single black opal dropping from its apex.

Katsumi passed what was probably an inordinate amount for the silver to the women and picked up a hair comb along with it before walking away his fingers breaking of the neck loop with strength disproportional to his elegant fingers before he pulled a long strand of hair out and with quick movements attached the hair comb to the adapted necklace using the hair just to make sure it stayed despite the fact that the metal was bent around the comb securely anyway. Pulling most of his hair out of his eyes he pushed the comb into the back making sure it was even before heading to the palace.

When he reached the palace he requested an audience with the King immediately claiming he had urgent news of an uprising against him, treachery. Of course it was untrue but the King was too vain to disbelieve.

Kaito had been in his own room, sleeping his day away. He hadn't planned anything for the day and made sure he wouldn't be interrupted from his slumber. Of course that rule broke when a maid serving Kaito knocked loudly on his door and called out to him for and urgent message. Kaito ignored it once, when it persisted for a second time he threatened the maid to fire and banish her from his castle. But when she continued for third time he jumped out of his bed, wearing nothing but his night pants and stormed towards the door. He threw it open and yelled furiously at the maid.

"What the hell do you want?! Do my rules mean nothing to you?!"

He was about to slam the door on the frightened maid when another came running down the hall calling to him, this time a foot soldier.

"My Lord! My Lord Yokozumi!"

Kaito decided then to stay at the door, not closing it after all. He waited until the foot soldier settled in front of him and saluted him. Then ordered the foot soldier to tell him the news before he grew bored of waiting. Suddenly his attitude changed. Ordering the maid to help him dress and the soldier to gather the generals of his army, Kaito made his move.

He changed out of his night pants, then the maid slipped on his black cloth pants and black socks, then his white cloth shirt. Over his clothes he wore his silver armor, and clipped to the shoulders of his shoulder pads was a small blue cloak that showed off his family emblem. When finished, he pushed the maid out of the way and stormed down to his throne room. There he would meet the stranger that claims to know of a treachery against him.

Once in the room, he headed straight for his throne. Soldiers lined the walls of the room and saluted him when he walked past him. When seated in his throne he yelled out to the two soldiers at the door to let the stranger in. He now had to wait impatiently for the long walk down the hall to the throne for the stranger to reach him.

Katsumi rolled his eyes as he was hurriedly rushed forwards after a good twenty minutes of waiting, how unorganised he thought to him self. The people here could have saved themselves a lot of time by bringing him to the place where he was to meet the king as they fetched his highness and only bade him enter when the man was seated. He was annoyed by inability to run a palace let along a country. Dispelling his annoyance he brushed bast the servants and swept into the throne room walking a few paces before lowering himself to one knee his hand above his heart and his head bowed respectfully. Best to gain a man's trust before you step on their pride.

"Your Highness." He said respectfully, his voice light and with a hint of almost undetectable playfulness. For a moment he debated just standing up and getting straight to the point or to remain prostrated in front of a King few wished to prostrate before. He decided the later, it would be unwise to go against such a King, he could wait for permission.

So he remained as such his hair falling beside his cheeks but not covering his clear grey eyes that sparkled with a light hint of brown around the iris.

Kaito watched as the man entered the throne room and walked with much pride down the hall. He coul tell immediately that this man would have reason to think someone was threatening himself and his throne. He waited for the man to kneel before him as one should always do when kneeling before him. When the man remained as he did Kaito smirked, resting his chin in the palm of his hand as his elbow rested on the arm of the chair.

"You may stand, stranger. And tell me, what news do you have for me of this treachery?"

He waited for the man to situate himself back in standing stance. His brown eyes never once leaving him. Despite the stranger being a man, Kaito thought of him as beautiful. He'd ever once seen someone of such praising features as he had. Of course, he never really left the Kingdom nor did he ever receive many visitors. He blamed that all on his dead Father.

Katsumi stood as requested and looked his King in the eye a light smile playing on his lips at the request. To tell of treachery. No man in this Kingdom would dare stand against this man. He was cruel and heartless and care no more for his subjects than he cared for the food on his table:as long as they were for him he didn't care how they were treated.

"Treachery my King. No such thing. Men around here wouldn't dare to even dream of something of the thought for fear your men might kill their family. Of course one should see that instantly but i thank you none the less for being naive." He looked the king strait in the eye daring him to be the first to look away.

"No, my true purpose here is to request you cancel the tornament to find a knight. I wish to fill both spaces, there is not a man in this land nor any other who can defeat my blade your kingship." His words were verging on mocking but his voice was steady and calm, almost respectful but not quite to the extend that a King should be allocated.

Kaito sat straight up in his chair. His face turning red in anger, or embarrassment. "You fool! How dare you come into my castle and dare to trample upon my name!" He slammed his fist into the arm of the chair. He stood up then and began walking down towards the man until the stranger spoke again. Kaito stood on the last step, one foot on the ground where the stranger stood. Kaito glared at the man, growing very impatient with him.

"Cancel the tournament!? Why should I?I have men lining up at the castle gates waiting to become my shield. What makes you think I'd let you take the job!?" Kaito pointed at the man and shouted out to his soldiers.

"Get this man away from me. Banish him from my castle! From the Kingdom!"

Kaito turned, his pride showing off far too much in his overconfident stride back to his throne, so that he could watch his men remove the man from his sight. He stopped just before his throne and turned to look down at the man. A large grin reaching from ear to ear. Two soldiers were already walking towards them, never backing away from their King's orders. Kaito sat then, returning to his orginal position of resting his arm on the chair and his chin in his palm.

Katsumi let the man shout abuse at him without even a flinch. The male would pat for those words later. But his composure broke when the king ordered him to be removed. He broke into fits of laughter the sound filling the room with musical notes that begged others to join in. "Banish me my lord. Are you deaf as well as blind. Your anger and power make you rash." He threw a dashing smile at the King before ducking under a sword that aimed at his shoulder. His sword was still tied securely to his back but he could fight without it and win. Even the added weight and lowered dixterity due to the metal wouldn't diminish his fighting skills.

He danced put of the way of the clumsy manoeuvres his footsteps elegant and deathly silent. For a while he played cat and mouse with the men, showing of his skull, waiting for the blades to be a hairs breath from his skin before pirouetting out of its way. He waited until the men were breathing heavily and sweating into their heavy armour and tight leather while he remained standing his heart rate not a beat higher than it had ever been. Finally boring of the chase Katsumi went in for the kill. His elegant movements turned into a deadly dance thay flowed through the room to an unheard beat: his elbow connected with one man's shoulder while the side of his hand connected to another's neck just hard enough to make him collapse with lack of oxygen. The final ones were disarmed by a swift jab into their elbow causing their blades to fall before Katsumi twirled away from them in a low bow towards the king while his for sweat behind him and knocked the mens feet from under them.

"Your majesty." Katsumi mocked with a smile.

The minute his men stood for a fight Kaito thought he'd find a boring show to watch. But when his men started falling before him, as he at upon his throne, panic began to rise within him. One of his men fell at the bottom of his stairs and his sword slid to the side of him. Kaito dashed forward and reached for it, just in time before another two men fell.

"You fiend! Your the one who is committing treachery, aren't you!? I will not allow any more humiliation to my Father's name! I will fight you and banish you myself!"

Kaito raised his sword towards the man. It wasn't that he didn't know how to wield such a weapon, he just wasn't as skilled as he claimed to be. Kaito's hand shook from fear and adrenaline. He didn't know what overcame the other feeling.

Kaito took a step, then another, and at the third step he dashed towards the man, crying out a battle cry. He swiped his sword sideways, then to the left, up from his feet, but each time he swung, the man dodged. Out of breath, Kaito heavily breathed, sweat pouring from his forehead. Kaito's eyes had widened in fear and his shaking increased. This was where his life would end. This was when he would follow his parents and meet them once more. Kaito had grown to regret his life in the moment of fear.

Katsumi let out an amused chuckle. "Fight me my Lord?" He questioned with a dashing smile as he sidestepped the unskilled swing of the blade. "Why if you could give me a fight worth fighting I would be most honoured however I fear fate is not so kind to me as to provide me with an opposition to my match." He danced out of the way of the blade, his robes swirling around his feet.

"Your ears are as deaf as you eyes are blind and your senses numb Sire. I came here not for treachury, I have no care for the throne nor the man that sits upon it, I simply seek some simple pleasure and the amusement of being the man as your sheild." As he spoke he hoped backwards his hair sweeping in front of his face as he landed before jumping forwards again and elegantly knocking the blade from the young Kings hand. Laying his knee to the ground he spoke again softer this time.

"Can you not see your own insolence and the pain of the Kingdom. Here you sit upon your throne worrying about treachury when none would dare stand against you despite the lack of skill you or your men hold, and yet you think you have the power and the skill to defy me a place as your knight and the leader of your army? You think I care whether you are sitting comfortably upon this throne or whether you are thrown from power by another nation. I care not. I simply seek something new, something amusing and I can feel the winds changing and they have lead me here, here is where the whispers in my ears told me the best amusement would be." He looked up his hand not dropping from his chest as he continued "Dare you challenge the Gods to a duel without me?" He asked: this certainly was fun.

The swings of his sword hit nothing but air. Nor matter how much he swung Kaito could not land a single blow upon this man standing in front of him. His attitutde was starting to get the best of him, as his swings became impatient and faster. Kaito was about to take one more swing before the man bestted him and forced him to his knees. The sword flew into the air before landing heavily upon the stone floor several feet from them.

Kaito had no words to speak at that moment, and could only stare up at the man in horror. The shaking in his hands had stopped, it was now he realized he had been greatly belittled by a complete stranger. The only thing now, was that this stranger would not swing his own weapon at him. He had no intention of taking his throne. He listened to the man speak to him before throwing himself forward, hands out in front of him and let out a yell. He needed the release of emotion that built up in him during the fight.

Kaito slowly rose, remaining at his knees before the man. He looked up at him, brown eyes showing no sense of pride in them at all. Now they were cloudy, unseeing of what lay ahead of him. He lowered his head and made fists of his hands.

"What is it you truly want here?"

He was shocked at the hoarseness of his voice, a true sign of weakness. He looked back up at the man and growled what words he could still form.

"Tell me! Just to be a shield!? Why would-" His voice trailed off. Kaito could suddenly feel his eyes burn as tears threatened to fall. He was breaking down in front of all his soldiers. In front of the men he showed no emotion too. Who was this man in front of him that made his emotions dance inside?

Kaito quickly lowered his head once more and clutched at what would have been his pants if his armor wasn't covering them. He could not allow his men to see him cry. It was bad enough he was allowing them to see a side of weakness they'd never seen before.

Katsumi stood rolling his eyes slightly. He could never understand people who didn't say exactly what they meant. There was a simple rule he had always remembered through his life although he never knew from whom he first heard it from: I always say what I mean, but I don't always mean what I say. He found it had gotten him out of many a tricky situation, lies always caused more trouble than they solved, this way there was no need for lying and no need to make the truth obvious to ones opposition.

Without a single word to the man on the floor Katsumi walked over to the door and dismissed the guards. They put up a fight at first not wanting to leave their King alone with him but when he pointed out that had he wanted to kill the King it wouldn't matter whether they were there or not. They could not argue.

Waiting until the door to the throne room was firmly shut he walked over to the dishevelled and diminished King.

"Come now my Lord, you lost a fight. It matters not, after all that is why I am here. I shall state it plainly for you; men such as myself desire thrill, something new, something different. My instincts lead me here and now I desire a man, a King, a ruler to rule over me and order me to their bidding. Now I desire the conflict of being a slave to your whims and the thrill of standing and fighting man or beast by your word or to stand still and allow the crows to peck out my eyes before you. Your Majesty, you need me as much as I want you. Call of the tournament." His voice had been calm and floated on gilded wings before but his last words were icy and cut through the room like a knife. It foretold danger as harsh as the winters of the north. His desire for change was raw in his voice and it all let lose in those final words.

Kaito had remained still and quiet while Katisumi took it upon himself to start excusing the soldiers and castle staff who ideally watched from the distance. He could feel the tears threatening even more so now that he knew he'd be left alone to do so. And it was when he heard the only other person's footsteps come closer to him, did he start to let the tears fall from his eyes. Katsumi began speaking to him in a calm, almost hypnotizing voice and it caused Kaito to look up at the man.

With his face red with emotion, eyes wet with salted water, and a slight run from his nose, Kaito looked nothing like the king he first presented himself as. He hiccuped from time to time as he listened to Katsumi speak to him, causing him to seem more so like a lost child then a king. It was when Katsumi's voice turn cold did Kaito flinch from his words. He was defenseless, so no matter how he tried to fight back he would only fail once more. Kaito hiccuped before wiping at his nose and tears.

"Why? Why would you choose me as a king to follow? I care nothing about the men I put in harms way. And I care nothing about the women who serve me and tend to my personal needs. So why here? Why this Kingdom? This king?"

Kaito lowered his head, unable to look the man in the eyes any further. Perhaps this man's presence, the fact that he stood before Kaito now was the break he needed. Perhaps he'd be the reason he could change. He clenched his fists once more and looked up at Katsumi once more. He seemed to hold his emotions in check just a little bit better now. His pride was slowly starting to return to him.

"I'll call off the tournament. I have found my Knight to protect me."

Katsumi looked at the other with a satisfied smile. "Good my King." He said his voice full of self contempt. "It's because you care nothing for them my Lord. Treat me as your dog. Treat me in any way you wish." He offered a hand to help the other up. He hated that this man was now a wreck, that wasn't why he had come here in the first place, but then again the wind had whispered secrets of the future into his listening ears, he would have come if the King was known as a weakling throughout the land. He wanted the future the wind foretold.

"My Lord I am your eyes, your ears, your sword and your shield. You have no reason to fear me.." His voice took on a suddenly dark tone "Though it does you no good to trust me." He smiled, after all he was only after amusement.

He looked at the other unmoving, he was an object now and wouldn't do what he wasn't ordered to no matter how angry it made the people around him, the unexpectedness of peoples own feelings when aggravated always excited him and made him take these risks. He looked at his master a light smile playing at his lips as he did.

Kaito held his hand out and grasped hold of Katsumi's as he held his out in front of him. Kaito stood back up, a bit more confidence showing through his stance once more. He let a small smile grace his lips before they fell again, after hearing Katsumi's confession. Not being able to trust him? Kaito thought now how empty he felt about that. Although, just a few moments ago he had declared not to care at all about his subordinates. Kaito looked up at the man, a look of sterness in his eyes.

"I will not trust you. I will confide in you, nor will I wish for anything in return. I will use you as I will. You are my dog. My shield and my sword."

Kaito held out his hand in the gesture for one to place a kiss upon it. He had seen his father do this to a man once before and thought of it as a contract between King and knight. When having recieved the kiss of contract, Kaito backed away, urging Katsumi to follow him. With a new knight, he would need to show him the castle itself and the quarters he'd be sleeping in.

Following down the hall towards his own room, Kaito entered an empty room adjacent to his. He stopped at turned to Katsumi, pointing to the two rooms.

"That is my room, as my dog it is only fair I let you stay close to me. This is your room, do with it what you will."

Kaito wanted to leave as soon as he could. But he stood where he was, waiting for Katsumi to answer him.

Katsumi lowered his head respectfully before his new master and taking the hand between his fine delicate fingers her pressed soft lips to the bare skin sealing their promise to each other.

As he walked behind his new master Katsumi observed the castle. He made note of the halls and the tunnels. Feeling the cool breeze through the tiny cracks that his secret passages and entrances. He doubted anyone knew about some of them, the air was so faint and the crack too dusty, to sealed. They had probably been forgotten with the kings death. It was good to know of these places, just in case. In case the winds whispering were truer than he expected.

The knight smiled at the term he was referee to by. His king would surely use him for whatever he wished. How he loved that. He could see the desire to leave in his masters stance and decided to toy with the male a little, to see if he would simply give him an order or whether he was still to young. "Your highness, your generosity is greatly appreciated however as you can see I have naught with me but myself and my blade." He smileddd mischievously at the other "mind you not if I were to relive myself of my gold tonight as return before the morrow." Of course he had no interest in possessions and while he thought he had made his true desires obvious to any male this man was not normal and his life had been sheltered. Maybe he would misinterpret his desires, either way the outcome would be amusing.

Kaito stood almost dumbfounded. He didn't actually think this man would suggest giving him gold to supply his room. And although it was tempting, if it were just moments ago in the throne room, Kaito probably would have taken the leverage and told him to give him the money. But this man, this thrilling and mysterious man, might have changed something inside of Kaito for this very moment. Kaito held up his hand and shook his head from side to side.

"Nonsense, a dog does not pay his life in hopes to live out his life with a new family. You are my dog, I will keep you here until I decide otherwise."

Kaito really didn't think he would say no to money. Since his father's death, money had been what bombarded his mind, his thoughts. He looked up at the man, his confidence true to the gleam in his eyes. Kaito couldn't help thinking the beauty of the man before him. Instantly he realized what he had been thinking and breaks the contact he had with Katsumi, turning his head away and blushing just light enough no one could clearly tell. But somewhere inside of him, he knew Katsumi would be able to tell. The man was intelligent beyond what he had seen before.

"I-I've shown you your room! Now I'm l-leaving! Do w-what you want now!"

Stammering Kaito pushed his way past Katsumi and down the hall. He hadn't had breakfast yet and decided he'd head to the dinning area for a good meal. He had clenched his hands into fists and stomped down the hall, turning tightly around the corners. Good thing no one had been coming, because without looking where he was going ad walking s fast as he was, Kaito could have plowed right into someone.

Katsumi bowed his head "as you wish." He replied. He had been hoping to go and bed a women but since he was ordered to stay here he could survive. Besides the blush on the other face told him he would be in for some amusement anyway. He didnt miss the look the other gave him, the way the king held his eyes or the light blush that was hardly noticeable in the dim light. It all made him want to continue this game of cat and mouse he was playing at.

Watching the other storm out of the room he debated going to find some food himself. It had been a while since he had eaten a good hot breakfast after all. For a moment he considered releasing the sword from his back and leaving it behind. But that was bad show for the king's knight. His sword was the only possession that he cared for and he rapidly thought better of leaving it. Tugging at the straps within his robes he removed the blade and lay it gently on the bed before stripping of the rest of his clothes. His shirt needed washing but for now the rest of it was okay. Looking out the window he decided the thin linen would dry quick enough in the sun and rapidly washed the garment in the bath before leaving it on the windowsill to dry and getting into the hot bath tub himself sighing as the water surrounded him. He wished he had a book. But if he did he would be hours and he wanted to play so perhaps it was better that he did not.

Kaito had stormed his way into the kitchen, ordering his cook to start preparing him a delicious meal. He then ordered to maids to begin preparing his tableware, he wouldn't need to order his only butler, for the man named Gallo was already preparing the king a drink of the finest tea in the kingdom. A favorite of Kaito's, one he'd drunk since childhood. Kaito had been told it was his mother's favorite tea and forced himself to enjoy the sweet taste of the tea, since then he had gained an unappealing appetite for the sweet and delicious foods he always consumed.

Cakes and frosting, chocolate and candies, even sweet fruits and drinks. He enjoyed all of them, and if he could have it completely his way, have Gallo not put his foot down on how many sweet things Kaito could eat, then he would have made them his meals each and every day. The only thing Gallo would not take from his King was the tea, he new at most times the only thing that could even calm Kaito down was the tea.

Therefore, the older man had been surprised when Kaito bounced back to his old self-and old self meant the one from years past- when Katsumi had taken the kings hand. Gallo finished pouring the tea just as Kaito sat himself down in his chair at the head of the table. Before him were placed elegant silver china, a present to his parents when he was born-so he had been told. Not too soon after the food had been displayed before him. The cook always did an excellent job, no matter how much Kaito discouraged it.

After Gallo had put his plate together, having been told what was supposed to go on it and where, Kaito was now eating his breakfast. He savored every bite of it, although he wouldn't tell anyone he did. Half way through his meal he began thinking of the man still upstairs. Cra- damn it! Get out of my head! Although Kaito didn't quite understand why he was thinking of the man at breakfast time, he understood it was abnormal and needed to stop. Kaito began chowing down his food, forcing the thoughts to go away.

A good hour had passed when Katsumi got out of the steaming bath fully refreshed and smelling clean and more like the person he knew himself to be. Drying himself of with a towel he wrapped the soft fabric around his waist and walked back into the bedroom. Slowly he got dressed wondering if he could find a seamstress in this place to make him some new clothes, he hated to buy from markets unless it was for other people. It always annoyed him having clothes that didn't fit him perfectly.

The tight brown leather hugged at his calves, showing of the lean muscle where before it had been hidden beneath his thick robes. Going over to the window he pulled on the white linen shirt, it was still damp but he didn't mind, he found it rather refreshing really. Pulling his hair into a tight ponytail he then buckled the sword around his belt not bothering to loosen the scabbard, he could do it quickly enough on the spot and would rather not be seen being over cautious of this place. In town it was better to fight with fists than blades anyway.

Katsumi followed the throngs of people around the castle hoping that eventually they would lead him to the main eating area and after wandering in circles a couple of times they did. Sitting down the elegant man ate the food relishing the salty bacon and the crispy toast and enjoying the feeling of scalding tea slipping down his throat after so many months.

When he was done he stood and left the hall planning to find the training area and get some solid sword practise in and wanting to see what the rest of the knights in the palace were like and if they were as incapable as the ones he had taken out earlier.

Kaito having finished breakfast found his way into his study quarters. He was still at the age where he still had to study the situations of other countries. So far nothing of the relevance was needed complete attention. Although a neighboring country and friend was in need of some support in dealing with the mercenaries targeting merchants just outside that kingdoms gates. Kaito would leave the support to a group of men that he knew would be able help with the situation.

After an hour of taking care of his reports for the day he found himself drifting off into the thoughts of his mind. Many thoughts came to him at once, many in which were about his mother. He would rarely dream of her, but when he did he'd be woken in near tears, sweat pouring down his body. He'd always end up staying awake for the rest of the night unable to sleep. There were times Kaito feared even going to bed.

In his thoughts he found himself looking outside, his study was on the bottom floor of the castle, and the only windows in the room faced the courtyard in which the soldiers would train. It hadn't occurred to him he had even been watching anyone, until Gallo spoke up to him.

"The new knight you have hired sire seems to be reassuring, don't you think?"

Instantly Kaito became aware of what and who he was looking at. In the courtyard he found Katsumi, dressed in a white linen shirt, brown leather pants and his boots. His hair was pulled back tight and he could tell that the man had just bathed himself. Kaito quickly turned away from the window, throwing one book and map to the side as he leaned back in his chair absorbing himself into another book. His actions to hide his red face failing when Gallo pointed out the book was upside down. At that time Kaito threw both the book and his head down, slamming his face into the books pages.

Katsumi practised his moves letting the silver of the blade dance through the air and slice it open with ease. His footsteps were so light the dirt around him remained undisturbed even as it swirled around the feet of the other fighters. His movements flowed like a river into one another with a grace and elegance that belonged only in stories and fairy tails. Each move was carefully calculated and controlled. For a while he danced with his blade fighting only the air before he eventually stopped for a drink.

Gulping down the cool refreshing water Katsumi noticed a young women watching him from the side. Her corset pulled tight around her and her skirt flapping in the wind. Katsumi flashed her a smile giving her a wink before he removed his shirt in the hot sun and dropped it to the ground. Walking into the centre of the field he raised his sword into the air and cleared his throat. Everyone went silent. It wasn't that they particularly noticed his voice or the flash of his sword, but more that they felt the air change. All men could feel the air change it was just if they choose to hear it with intent. Most didn't.

"I am the King's knight. His guard dog and the leader of his army." His voice was not loud but it held power, power that demanded attention. "Fight me, prove I am not worthy." He dared with a devious smile and watched as men stepped forward for him to fight. The girl remained watching. Her back strait and a small smile slowly forming on his red lips.

Kaito had remained lying on his desk, face in a book-literally-when he heard Gallo. "Oh dear" were his words, and thus intrigued Kaito into sitting up. Gallo wasn't looking at him, instead he was looking out the window, towards the courtyard. What was there that Gallo wou- Kaito jumped from his seat and ran towards the large window that stood as tall as an eight foot man. It opened outwards from the middle, and just by unlatching the hook on it, Kaito was able to open it.

He opened the window just in time to hear Katsumi's words. Kaito could feel a slight tinge of red growing across his face. Were they from embarrassment, or from anger though? He thought perhaps maybe both. Kaito would have interrupted if the fierceness in Katsumi's eyes didn't tell him otherwise. Instead he called out, quietly at first, as if trying to whisper. Then he grew louder the second time, stammering his words.

"Ka-Katsumi, what a-are you doing?"

He waited for the man to respond to him, or make an attempt to walk to him from where Kaito remained. In the meantime he watched out over the courtyard, demanding to know of those who'd dare challenge his right hand. His dog. His...his knight. Kaito blushed then, quickly diminishing the thoughts that scattered across his mind. Gallo had already left the room, now leaving Kaito alone. Not like anything was going to happen here however. In the own comfort of his castle, in this very study. Could it?

The fight had already stated when Katsumi heard the voice of his King. He laughged and grained at the other as his blade sliced through the air perrying each blow he was felt with ease. As he looked up he continued to fight with elegance while calling back. "Dancing my Leige." He let out a laugh that filled the courtyard as he jumped out the way of a slice across his abdomen that shone with a thin film of sweat across the tight muscles and tanned skin.

He enjoyed playing with these men, letting them think they could beat him, think they were tiring him and then dancing forward to strike them with the flat of his blade. "Come now make me work some. This is too easy!" He was delibraatly trying to aggregate the men, trying to make them hate him for this so they would fight him with intent. Another stepped forward so he was fighting two. Yet still his movements were fluid and silent and deadly. His breathing wasn't even increasing.
