Nyuchanxx
Katsumi smiled politely and replied softly "I brought clothes this morning, they are being made for me. I apologise for my lack of different attire until then. Such is not suitable for one serving under you, you have my greatest apologies and I beg your forgiveness your highness." Following the other out of the enormous wardrobe he moved in front of his master and bending down to pick up the clothes he began to remove the creased attire the male was wearing and replace it with the beautiful ones that he had picked out. His fi gets moved swiftly, moving over the others skin and pulling the clothes around him before doing up the buttons. He worked in silence. Respectful of his master. YellowPerch
As Katsumi worked with removing Kaito's clothing and replacing it with the recent clothes he had chosen Kaito answered his apologies to him. "There is no need for you to have to apologize to me Katsumi. I never asked for a knight to come well dressed and donned in silks of fine gold." He smiled down at him, the first half genuine smile he had shown to Katsumi since arriving. "I'm sure the maids can make you some clothing later. One's that you can wear for different occasions. Your other clothing can be....your casual clothing." Kaito had quieted himself as he let Katsumi finish what he was doing. Kaito thought nothing of a man helping another man undress. Especially when it were a knight helping his King, who he gratefully served. It was when Katsumi's fingers gently grazed across Kaito's skin did he start to feel sort of uncomfortable. He wouldn't announce this to Katsumi, but he sooner or later he might find out that he was. The fingers in the way they accidentally touched him caused chills to run up Kaito's back. A small blush crossed his features and Kaito had to look away and concentrate on something else and not the chills he was feeling. When Katsumi had finished changing his attire, Kaito cleared his throat and walked over to his bed and sat on it. He reached down for the shoes that had been deposited beside it and he slipped them on. Tying them up with the leather laces he had asked them to come with when he ordered them to be made. It was sort of pathetic really, Kaito knew very well had to put on and tie his shoes, but not how to dress himself. Of course that all was for his own reasoning of ordering no one to touch his shoes except for him.
Nyuchanxx
Katsumi stood waiting patiently for his master to finish with his shoes. "That's okay, I ordered clothing for all occasions from a seamster near the tower gates but thank you for the offer it is much appreciated." His eyes lingered to the still drawn curtains. Moving on silent feet he gently pulled them open relieving the beautiful gardens below. The perfectly mown lawns and the gorgeous flowerbeds. How the plants were arranged perfectly, the grasses complementing the flowers and the colours mixing into the most perfect rainbow of colour that was soft and gentle yet bold and inviting. Turning away he looked back at his master wondering if his presence or the words he spoke had somehow changed how the King acted and how he treated his subjects. He couldn't see any other explanation for the sudden change in attitudes of this man from the ruthless king he had been that day before into the male that now stood before him that seemed to him to be unsure of his place in the world and the rank that he held nor how to use that which was placed before him to use at his leisure. YellowPerch
Having finished tying his shoes just as the light of day swarmed into the room. Kaito turned on his bed looking back at Katsumi as he stood looking out the window. He wondered why he fell quiet as he looked at the gardens he knew was there. He was about to speak up when Katsumi turned around answering his earlier statement about the clothing. He hopped off the bed and waited for the man to walk towards him as he stretched slightly. He could see the quizzical gaze of his knight as he tried to figure something out. Kaito was going to ask what was on his mind but left it as is. He turned and faced the door, his eyes showing more life in them then just a moment ago. Who would have thought the the words from a single man could change so much in him. Of course, now with a new standard on life came new obstacles. Where Kaito would have forced himself through in anyway possible, he would now go about it in his own righteous way. But how did he go about doing that? He'd never done so before and everything he's done so far have been learning lessons from his father the previous King. Kaito looked back at Katsumi as he began leaving the room. "I'm going to my study, there is some unfinished paperwork I must work on. You can do what you wish." Nyuchanxx
Katsumi bowed as he was dismissed. "As it pleases my liege." He said his sing song voice flat. Truth be told he had nothing to do and he knew no one. A good practise with his blade wouldn't go amiss but for such a thing to occur one would need a suitable opponent and apparently no one in this castle was even close to capable of matching his skills with a blade let alone actually beating him. Stepping out of the room Katsumi wandered around the castle until he found himself in the kitchens where he stole a few chunks of bread and went outside into the forest to eat it while he sat in one of the tall oak trees that resided there taking comfort in the bark beneath his fingers and how it rubbed against his legs. As he sat eating he smelt the wind. Smoke, only the barest hint but still smoke, but not the sort of smoke that came from burning wood and coal for cooking and heating. No, this smoke was deadly, it was the precursor, whatever Katsumi had sensed in the wind previously, it was closer than he anticipated and getting closer faster. YellowPerch
Kaito watched as Katsumi left the room and left down the hall in the opposite direction as he did. It slightly bothered him of how quiet Katsumi was, but he ignored it for now. Turning in his own direction, Kaito left for the study room. There he would find just the man he was looking for, the head of his soldier squadrons. The man bowed to him in surprise when Kaito walked into the room. The two spoke to each other about the deeds that needed to be done or changed, and in doing so piqued some interest in those passing by. Soon enough, by the middle of the afternoon, rumors were being passed to every worker in the castle about 'How different the King seemed'. Some thought it a good thing, others not so much. Some blamed Katsumi, claiming he was poisoning the King into thinking such things. Others were wanting to thank him for causing him to change. By the time everything had been discussed dinner was rolling around. The head maid, having found it a wondrous thing of the King's change made him a special feast. And was just about to call upon him when she found him sitting in his study chair, a grim expression on his face. He sat alone, and the only light he received was that of the already setting sun. She hadn't wanted to bother him, so she left back to the kitchen, not first before telling one of the passing soldiers to call for Katsumi. Who at this point in time, no one knew where he was. The soldier left the castle, heading for the training grounds. He thought perhaps he'd find him there. But of course, with his luck, he was not. The castle was larger enough, probably bigger then the kingdom itself. But he wouldn't give up until the man was found. Or he would never be able to return to the castle empty handed after the head of the maids, Naima, had given him this task. Of course, she was like a mother to all, caring for each person related to her or not in her own way.
Nyuchanxx
Katsumi looked down upon the world that humans rarely saw: a forest as it is naturally. He was thankful that there was a forest on the castle grounds, few ever came to these places, too busy with their silly little problems and really not as hectic as they think lives. So it was peaceful here. Leaning back upon the bough of the tree he linked his fingers behind his head and shut his eyes, he dozed in the soft dappled sunlight, listening to the rustle of the trees, the chirping of the birds and the snuffling of the animals below him. After a moment though he realised his sword was pulling him right and causing him to be uncomfortable so he quickly undid the strap around his waist and tied it around the tree instead, making sure he could still access it easily before he returned to his previous position. He listened for a while. Listened to the wind but whatever it was wasn't that close yet, he could still smell it, taste it, but he couldn't hear it yet. That was a good thing though. After a few hours katsumi sat up and stood upon the bough of the tree stretching his arms and back before he uncliped his sword and swung down the five metres to the ground. Reattaching his sword belt to himself he decided to make his way back to the castle. He figured he should probably introduccve himself to those he had suddenly become commander of.
