YellowPerch
Name: Ryuu Yakumo Age: 26 Appearance: Personality: Outgoing, confident (depending on the situation), Smart, Athletic; much more of his personality comes out while the story goes on. *** It had been more then two years since graduating from the police academy. And all ready Ryuu Yakumo had began his dream career of becoming a detective. His intelligence was of above average ratings, and his agility placed him top ranked in his department. When he was given the chance just a few months ago he instantly took it. And why wouldn't he? This was the moment for him to show to his father just how good he was at something. His father had a police chief when Ryuu was younger. Through out his life he was told how to do something and how to react to something. Of course, with his past, he thanked his father for one thing. And that was the knowledge he needed to be good at his job. Everything had been going well for the four months he had first started out, but now he was in a slump. Ryuu had just been past an old case by his cheif a few weeks ago. The case involved a con man. A smart son of a bitch who had been outsmarting the police for a good couple of years now. Each and every time they thought they caught him, he'd slip right out of their hands. Not to Ryuu's surprise however, this police station was exactly the best at what they did. But he never had any complaints and everything ended up working out in the end. This time the chief thought that it would be a good idea for Ryuu to take control of the situation. Ryuu wasn't fond of being passed on the cases the others couldn't complete but if he could find the guys and book them himself, it meant something for him. The last known where about of the con man was up in the north district with all the shopping stores and markets open all day long to the public. This last time he had stationed himself outside the near by subway station selling off finances to people passing by. Claiming that he was a clerk at the insurance company just down the road from the market district. At that time the con man was able to trick four individuals and three couples. It was becoming a mess and the tyrant needed to be stopped. Luckily enough right now he was only conning people. What would Ryuu do if he suddenly started hurting people. He hoped he wouldn't have to worry about that at all. Ryuu put the file inside the drawer of his desk, grabbed his tuxedo coat and left the station. He borrowed an un-marked car to travel to the market district where he could park it at the grocery store and walk around. Here Ryuu would hope to find some sort of clue as to where he could find this man. He started with the smaller businesses first hoping that they could tell him about nay suspicious activity. Unfortunately only two out of the five small businesses had suspicious activity. And after watching the security videos, neither claimed to be the con man. Ryuu still had plenty more to look into before completely giving up.
Akira&Shiki
Name: Kazuhiro Sado Age: 27 Occupation: Con Man Kazuhiro prefers to be called Kazu. He grew up as a poor kid, but once he grew up, he knew what he wanted: money. And once he got his first taste of money, he became addicted. Being extremely intelligent and clever in school, he used his attributes to trick people into giving him their money. His conning has gotten to the point that he has caught police attention. Kazuhiro is very arrogant. He has a snarky and sarcastic way of speaking. He loves teasing people. Kazuhiro sighed to himself and fixed his sunglasses in his car mirror. That day, he had decided that he would attempt to sell some counterfeit products among the streets. It was simple child's play to Kazuhiro, but it was an easy way to get money. And at the moment, Kazuhiro was desperate for money. As he fixed his blonde hair in his car's mirror, he thought about his sick mother. The reason he needed the money was because she was deathly ill. Why didn't he just work then? Why didn't he just work tons of jobs to support his ailing mother? Because Kazuhiro found the thrill in tricking people and seeing their astonished faces when they realized that they had been played. Ever since he was little, Kazuhiro was a natural born con man. Kazuhiro drove his car past the market that he was going to base his conning at. But he noticed a fishy man standing out front. He tilted his sunglasses and got a look. Was it the damned police again? He hoped not… they were always bothering him and trying to catch him. Of course, Kazuhiro always got away… but this silly game of cat and mouse was sometimes a bit tiring. Especially since Kazuhiro always won the game. Taking out a cigarette from the cardboard box in his pocket and lighting it, he put it in his mouth. After inhaling, he took the cigarette out and exhaled, letting smoke fill his car. Kazuhiro waited at a stoplight when his cell phone began buzzin like crazy. He looked at it and sighed. It was his little sister, Hanae, texting him. Hanae's text message read: Kazu-nii, hurry to the hospital…! Mom's in urgent care! Kazuhiro hated this. His mother always was in intensive care. She always needed help. And Kazuhiro hated the fact that he couldn't pay for everything. He couldn't pay for both Hanae's school and his mother's hospital bills and operations. His simple conning was going to have to go up a level. But what in the world could he do? Sell drugs? Way too risky! Maybe he could simply sell more counterfeit stuff? Just yesterday, he had come across a dealer who would sell him fake gold for a low price. With that, he could easily trick some rich idiots and get some nice money. All he had to do was smile, use encouraging words, and read his victims. They were all so predictable… so predictable that it was a tad scary. Thinking those thoughts, Kazuhiro drove to the local hospital. He already knew his mother's hospital room, so he rushed up to the third floor where the Cancer unit was. Her room, 306 was at the end of a long, almost seemingly endless, hallway. He pushed the door open with an urgency that was usually absent from his persona and he was faced with Hanae, three doctors, a few nurses, and his mother, sickly on the bed. His mother, a woman of 47 years of age, looked tired and fragile and old. She hadn't looked like that before she had been admitted into the Cancer unit. A doctor pulled Kazuhiro out and told him: "Sado-san, without the chemotherapy, Serena-san will most likely die." Kazuhiro understood. But he still had trouble paying. Plus, his mother, a proud American, hated to cut her long, blonde hair. The 27 year old Kazuhiro got his blonde hair from his mother. And he knew how much she loved it. But too bad. Kazuhiro made up his mind… he would sell the fake gold and do much more. His phone rang. He sighed. Why had he forgotten to turn it off? When he was about to turn it off, he caught sight of the caller ID and grinned. It was Jun, a good supplier of his. "Jun, what's up?" Kazuhiro asked. Jun cleared his throat. "Kazu, where are you?!" "The hospital, man," Kazuhiro answered. "But nevermind that! Jun, I have an idea that can get us rich."
YellowPerch
Ryuu hadn't found anything yet. He was there for almost two hours and the only leads he had only lead him to two Shoplifters. And in one of the cases, he managed to catch the thief in the act and stopped him. Right now he was filing a report for this incident with the shop owner. A cop had come by to pick up the guy for him. While Ryuu was filing the report, he noticed a car parked just a ways away from the shop he was at now. He tried to look at the plate, but to his luck, the car was too far away for him to make it out. Only the letters K, B and H were what he could see from where he stood. The car itself was a sedan, but not too long after he started scoping it out, the driver had ended up leaving from his spot and heading down the road. Even as he passed, Ryuu was completely able to make out the identity of the driver. Once the report had been filed with the shop owner, Ryuu tried for a little bit longer in the market district. It was already four o'clock and he new many of the small businesses would be closing in an hour. Right then and there, he knew he wouldn't have much time left to look for leads. Ryuu decided to search in two more shops and then call it at night. He would then go out to get dinner and a drink, and then head home. Ryuu was exhausted, but he didn't hold back from his dinner. A delicious Texas styled burger, cooked medium well, served with french fries and a pickle sat in a medium sized plate in front of him. To the side of it was a side of onion rings, dipped in beer batter. For a drink, he had a glass of water, though he probably wouldn't touch it, and a bottle of Samuel Adams. This had been the best damn meal he'd had in weeks. Living by himself wasn't always the easiest. Especially with the job he had. Ryuu found it hard to do his laundry, or to go grocery shopping. Half the time dishes would pile up in the sink until he found the time or even felt like doing it, mostof the time it was because of the stink. After finishing his meal, Ryuu sat back in his chair, watching what sports were being shown on the bar televisions. After twenty minutes of watching some hockey game between two high school teams he decided to head home. Not before taking a large swig of his beer and then placing it back on the table. He paid the bill at the counter and left the restaurant.
Akira&Shiki
Kazuhiro knew that Jun would always help him. It wasn't that hard to persuade Jun anyways. "We'll meet at the usual restaurant," Jun said over the phone. "There, you can tell me everything." He nodded, though it made sense to reply verbally since he was talking over the phone. "Perfect. Let me finish this visit with my mom and I'll be there." Jun hung up, leaving Kazuhiro to face the harsh reality of his situation. He looked at his mother and gave a light sigh. What was he going to do with her? After the chemotherapy, she'd be traumatized and depressed. That was his mother. Hamas placed her hand on her brother's shoulder and gave a comforting smile. "Go home and rest, Kazu," she said. "You look tired." Kazuhiro looked at his mother, then back at his sister and nodded. He turned on his heels and went back to his car. The ride to the restaurant wasn't too long, maybe a good five to ten minutes. As soon as he parked the car, he trudged inside. He paid for his seat and stepped inside to the usual seat that he and Jun sat at when they met up. Kazuhiro stuck out like a sore thumb, with his blonde hair and green eyes. He looked like a foreigner, but he was not. In fact, he was born and raised in that very same city for the longest. No one could tell him otherwise. The he restaurant bell dinged and Jun stepped in. He walked straight to Kazuhiro and happily sat down beside him. "So Kazu, what's this grand plan of yours?" Jun asked once he got comfortable. "It's not a grand plan," he replied, taking off his sunglasses. "I just need money, quick." Jun shrugged. "So then what?" Kazuhiro waved a waitress over and simply asked for the usual: unsweetened coffee. Once he was finished ordering, he turned back to Jun and said, "I was thinking about the various things we could sell. And then fake gold…" Jun's eyebrows rose, showing that he was gaining interest. "So how do you think I'll get my hands on the false gold?" "Hm," was the reply, along with a mischievous grin played across his lips. "Maybe I can find you some money and you could find me some fake gold?" Jun caught on and nodded. "Of course. It's not like Id have problems finding it…" "And I'll help you settle the deal if needed be," Kazuhiro added. The waitress came back with the coffee and Jun's beer, then she quickly scurried away. After finishing their respective beverages, they left the restaurant. Before leaving, Jun had told Kazuhiro that he had called a false gold dealer and they were going to meet him. Suspecting nothing, Kazuhiro followed Jun. But once they were alone in what seemed like a dead parking lot, Jun dug into his jacket and pulled out a handgun, aiming it straight at Kazu. "Jun?" Kazuhiro asked in surprise. "Wh-what's this?" Jun sighed. "Kazu, you were gonna get rich." "I told you," Kazuhuro exclaimed, "I told you that I'd share!" "No you wouldn't. You'd trick me, like you've done everyone else. You're a con man, Kazuhiro." Kazuhiro didn't like the fact that he was in that predicament. He was stuck and was about to get his brains blown out. He did not like doubting such a long time partner, but it was hard to trust anyone in this business. After all, selling fake gold could get a person rich pretty quickly. Even the longest of partners could fall to greed. And having the gun barrel pressed against his skull was enough proof of his cruel world.
YellowPerch
Luckily enough, Ryuu didn't live that far from the restaurant he just left. It was about a mile or two down the road and around the corner. After having left the market district earlier he went home first, leaving his car at the apartment he lived at. After changing into more casual and comfortable clothing, ones in which he could hide his gun and badge with, he left for the restaurant. Now he was heading home, and a part of him had wished he had taken his car. But the nice warm air made it a nice night to walk. Ryuu was passing by the last restaurant on the block before entering the long road of houses. Just before crossing a street, Ryuu passed by the last parking lot to what was called the dinner district. A mile of road covered from acre to acre with restaurants and fast food. He couldn't see very well in the darkening sky, but he could make out what looked like two shadows. Human shadows? He crept closer, a hand reaching for his gun. He couldn't be too careful in this situation. When he got close enough to see clearly without freaking out what ever or whoever it was he noticed the shadow of a gun. Instantly on alert he unclipped his own gun from its holster and held it up. He aimed his gun at the shadow holding the other. "Freeze! Drop the weapon right now! I'm a detective!" He held his ground waiting for the shadow to respond when he didn't he shouted again. "I said drop it! Now!" He didn't even know if what he was doing would be the right chose. For all he knew, the other shadow standing quietly could have been the trouble maker. And the one holding the gun was another cop. Ryuu would take that chance later, and would apologize wholeheartedly if it were the case.
Akira&Shiki
A cold sweat dropped down Kazuhiro's brow. What in the world was Jun thinking? Had he gone nuts? That must have been it! Jun's unwavering hand kept the gun aimed at Kazuhiro's head. He seemed like he didn't want to make too much of a big move. It would have been hard to dodge the gun… if Jun shot the gun in time, Kazuhiro would have undoubtedly been hit- maybe even mercilessly killed. Kazuhiro lifted his face to view Jun's but the darkness had crawled over him, obscuring his facial expression. And that sucked because he had wanted to see the expression of his old friend… was he upset? Regretful? Happy? Excited? Oh goodness… he hoped not. After all, it was impossible to believe that a long time partner and friend would suddenly switch on him. Had he done something? Had Jun such a weak person that greed could easily take him over and influence his actions? Or… Kazuhiro didn't want to think of any negative possibilities. Well, that might have been hard to do because he was caught in a negative situation. At any given moment, Jun would shoot him down… Kazuhiro didn't want to die. Not yet, anyways. He couldn't just leave Hanae or his mother. He'd regret that for the rest of his life. "Freeze! Drop the weapon right now! I'm a detective!" someone suddenly yelled from the other side of the parking lot. Whoever this detective was seemed ready to defend Kazuhiro, but he still couldn't trust this guy all the way. Jun made no movement of response, so the detective yelled again. This time: "I said drop it! Now!" Jun sighed and reached for Kazuhiro. He pulled Kazuhiro close to his chest and held the gun to his temple, that time violently pressing it against his skin. Kazuhiro became extremely frightened and worried. Just the wrong move and Jun could kill him at any given moment!
YellowPerch
"Shit" Ryuu muttered under his breath, as soon as the man with the gun grabbed the other. Pointing the gun at his hostage, the man made no attempt at dropping his weapon. At this point Ryuu couldn't risk the fact of taking baby steps towards them either. Perhaps maybe he could talk his way out of all this. He kept his gun pointed at the gunman from where he stood. "We can talk this all out, man. But you have to put the gun down." Ryuu couldn't make out the guy's face at all. He was able to make out his height however, even though half his body was shrouded in darkness. Ryuu was trying to come up with a million and one ways to get this to end. Luckily enough, no passerby's were out on the road. At least, none in the area in which they were. He thanked God for that. Ryuu tried to make out the situation, but no matter what he came to he just couldn't tell. The gunman's hostage was a guy, not the typical purse snatcher. On top of that, it didn't really look either one of them were dressed as if they had been fighting in the first place. A drunken gunman just grabbing some random citizen? He couldn't be too sure. When the gunman made absolutely no attempt to drop the weapon he called out once more. "What is it you wan't with that man? What's so important that you have to shoot him? Listen man, I can help you. You just have to drop that weapon." He watched many a cop try and talk someone out from shooting, half the time it worked, half the time it didn't. He hoped that this time would work. Ryuu tried to take one step closer to the men, hoping that maybe he could get closer. If he were able to, then he could rush the gunman, grab the hostage and manage to restrain the gunman. This however, was all just an image of hope, or a part of a movie he just recently watched and wanted to try. Trying to be a hero wouldn't exactly work in this situation. Akira&Shiki
Kazuhiro ground his teeth together and clenched his hands into tight fists. Knowing Jun, the chances of him getting out of this crazy situation were close to none. None… That was nuts! Kazuhiro couldn't die. He had already made up his mind. So what else could he have done? If the police detective made the wrong move, that'd be Kazuhiro's brains. If Kazuhiro made the wrong move, it would result in the same. He gave out a heavy sigh, but Jun kicked him. Things weren't seeming easy. Kazuhiro was already caught up in a hostage situation… and he could have easily been caught by the police, even after this Jun situation was resolved. He had to be careful or else he'd end up in deep crap. Things weren't seeming too nice at the moment. When the detective spoke again, Jun chuckled to himself. "I want him to die," Jun muttered, pressing the gun even harder against his former partner's temple. "Detective, if you comes any closer, I'll kill him. I'll kill him either way, so you can go home." When he heard those words dripping with greed and hatred, Kazuhiro froze, a cold sweat running down his brow. He started trembling. So Jun didn't just want the false gold or the money? He really wanted to kill Kazuhiro? Was it some type of grudge or something? But wouldn't it have been easier to just blackmail him or something? Once Jun succeeded in the blackmailing, there'd be no way Jun would alarm the cops! If he did, he'd be selling himself out as well.
YellowPerch
"Sorry man, I can't do that. We can either let this go down the easy way, or the hard way. But I can't let you shoot that man." Ryuu's nerves grew the minute the gunman held the gun closer to the hostage's head. He could see the stress in the hostage's face. If he didn't think of something soon, then someone was getting shot and killed, most likely it being the hostage too. Ryuu tried quickly to find some way to get out of this ruck. Having looked almost everywhere, down, left, right, up, if he could he'd look counter-clock wise for the opening. It wasn't until Ryuu had blinked some sweat away from his left eye did he find some sort of opening. Ryuu noticed a slight opening at the gunman's right shoulder. A small, very small area was exposed where the hostage wasn't blocking it. Ryuu had been a good shot in class, in fact he'd been considered the best. But that was in class, in a situation where he didn't have to worry bout someone actually dying. Not this time, this time someone could die. And that's what really stopped him from shooting. Ryuu strained his finger on the trigger, wanting more then anything to shoot.
Akira&Shiki
Kazuhiro watched in horror. Because Jun was concentrated on killing Kazuhiro, he didn't notice that the detective aimed his gun. What the heck?! Was that detective going to shoot? Was he crazy?! When he looked a little closer, he noticed that the detective was aiming for something else… of that crazy detective had good aim then there was a possibility that he'd get out safe. But still… Jun was becoming erratic and impatient. He squeezed Kazuhiro and growled to himself. Kazuhiro wondered what the heck had he gotten himself into? Jun had lost it and a detective that was supposed to be saving him seemed to want to kill him as well. Jun sighed heavily, making sure to get the detective's attention. "Guess I'll have to kill him in front of you." He cocked the gun and got ready to pull the trigger. In reaction, Kazuhiro looked at the detective and yelled out in all earnesty and fear, "H-help me, please!" It was so out of character, but Kazuhiro couldn't help it. He was genuinely afraid. Afraid of what exactly? Death? Betrayal? Getting caught? Losing Jun? Kazuhiro knew that with one wrong move, somebody would be dead. He made sure to keep himself safe, even if it meant clinging to the police. It was the least he could do. After all, he had to pay for his mother and sister. YellowPerch
Ryuu knew instantly that anymore hesitation could possibly kill more then just the hostage. He in turn, after not being ready for the gun to go off could be shot and killed too. The minute the hostage cried out for him to help, Ryuu decided to take action. Aiming his gun at the shoulder and squinting his eyes just a bit, he quickly pulled the trigger. The gun held sturdy in his hands, he was glad to have had the strength of muscles in his arms. The gun flew past the hostage, just barely grazing his cheek, and embedded itself into the shoulder of the gunman. Ryuu held his gun pointing at the man as he ran towards the gunman, ripping the hostage from his grasp and pushing him behind his back. "Stay behind me!" Ryuu called out to the man behind his back, not looking behind him at all. He needed to make sure his eyes were on the target at all times. Ryuu couldn't believe he even attempted what he just did. He hadn't even heard of the chief having done something like that during a hold up. His body was covered in sweat now, his adrenaline sky rocketing past its normal tendencies. Even despite all this, Ryuu showed no sign of shaking. A good cop could hold down his emotions and anything physical that came with it. He inclined his head enough so that he could talk to the man behind him while watching the gunman. "Are you okay? Hurt at all?"
Akira&Shiki
Kazuhiro felt his heart thump erratically. Though he was used to stupid things like guns and fighting, having a coo's gun almost graze his face felt overwhelming. It all happened so fast; he was pulled behind the cop and told to be still and to stay behind. Kazuhiro decided to do exactly that. If he moved around too much, he might have caused more trouble. The question from the cop quickly got Kazuhiro's attention. He looked at the cop, then gave a small nod. "I'm fine," he answered, his voice croaky. From behind the cop, he watched as Jun writhed and screamed in pain. It clearly hurt him… maybe both physically and mentally. That's what Jun deserved. As "bad" as their line of work was concerned, conning people and whatnot, Jun had done a horrible thing. Kazuhiro turned his head back to the cop and tried to look at him through the dark. YellowPerch
Ryuu cursed inside his own mind. Being off duty like he had been, Ryuu didn't carry on him any of his tolls needed in calling in support. He could reach into his pocket and grab his phone, but then he would lose at least 5 seconds of concentration on the gunman. When the hostage answered his question, almost completely out of breath, he glanced back at him and nodded. Knowing that he was going to be fine, Ryuu looked back at the gunman. Taking the risk he needed, Ryuu shot his hand into his pocket, pulled his cellphone out and dialed as quickly as he could for the only cops phone number he knew by heart. Greg answered on the other line as casually as he possibly can. Ryuu was risking both his life and the hostages life keeping only one hand on his gun. "Greg! Call in back up on Datesel Street! In an alley by Aristocrats Sub shop!" Before Greg could even answer back, Ryuu hung up the phone. The gunman was starting to gain control of himself now and it wasn't the time to be talking on the phone.
Akira&Shiki
Jun heard the detective's call. He was calling for backup! Jun knew that he couldn't hold back more than one cop, so he had some big decision making to do. Making up his mind, he flung his body at his gun and got a hold of hit. As soon as his shaking and unsteady hands aimed it correctly, he quickly shot himself in the chest and let out a pain filled scream of agony. Kazuhiro watched in shock. What the heck...? Was he trying to kill himself?! "Jun!" Kazuhiro exclaimed, out of old habit. "You idiot!" He pushed past the detective to his old partner and stared at his bleeding body. "I don't know what to do..." Kazuhiro mumbled. Then he turned to the detective. "He's bleeding...!"
YellowPerch
Ryuu held his spot as he watched the gunman. When he hung up the phone and began putting it in his back pocket however, the gunman flew at his gun, grabbed it and aimed it at himself. "Stop! Don't do it!" Ryuu shouted at him. He couldn't even come to shoot at the man again to stop him. Hesitating, he realized he was too late, when the sound of a gun went off. The man behind him shouted out, calling the gunman's name. So they knew each other, Ryuu thought. He immediately shook his head clearing his mind to focus. When he looked back the once hostage called back to him. Worried about the amount of blood. Ryuu cursed under his breath as he took off his coat, grabbed his phone once more from his back pocket and ran towards the two men while calling 911. "This is Detective Ryuu Yakumo. I called in back up for a hold up situation. Don't need it anymore, I need an ambulance now in the exact place I called the back up to earlier. I need it now. Got it....I need you to hold this." He spoke to the hostage, while on the phone, his cheek pressing the phone against his shoulder so that he could use both hands to help stop most of the bleeding. "His name's Jun right? That's what you called him? Jun listen to me! Jun! Come on man stay with me! Talk to me!" Ryuu tried calling out to Jun. He could see his eyes closing, pain rushing through on top of the process of passing out cold. He pressed down on the wound with his jacket. Luckily it was the ugly jacket his ex bought for him. After this he'd just throw it out. Ryuu gently slapped Jun's cheek, trying to wake him again. He needed the ambulance here faster then now. It needed to have been there five minutes ago. Akira&Shiki
Kazuhiro watched as the policeman tried to save Jun. Was it too late? Had Jun passed on already? …that idiot! How could he just selfishly kill himself? Kazuhiro had seriously knew him… or he at least thought so. But apparently not. Seeing the lifeless body of Jun in front of him made him question how much he knew. How much did he know? Did he really know nothing, despite all of those tears of trying to learn? Kazuhiro hated this. He hated everything about this situation. He squatted down and covered his face as the ambulance's sirens came from the distance. They'd just take Jun's body away, and that would be the last he sees of him. After all, Jun had no family and no one would plan him a funeral. He looked at the detective. And what about the police? Would they just question him? Oh God, he hoped not!
YellowPerch
Ryuu looked up when he heard the sirens of the ambulance in the distance. It was about time they got there. He only wished they had been there sooner. by now some on lookers were gawking, those who had been passing by stopped to pull out their phones or start panicking and yelling. Ryuu paid no mind to them. Not unless they started to venture too close and he'd have to tell them to get back. When he turned to look back down at Jun he caught the other men in the corner of his eyes. He pressed down on the wound a little more as he spoke out to him. "Hey, I need you to concentrate on him. I need you to talk to him and keep him awake as much as you can. Think you can handle that much?" The ambulance pulled up finally, along with two more cop cars. They ushered people away so that the paramedics could make their way through. "Okay detective, the minute I move in you let go." One personnel said as he knelt down beside Ryuu. The other two began prepping the stretcher they would place Jun on. Just as soon as they placed the stretcher on the ground beside Jun, Ryuu moved so that the other paramedic could move in and take over. Ryuu walked over to where the other man stayed, watching the whole thing happen. "Hey man, you can hop into my car and we can follow them to the hospital. I'll have to fill out some reports while I'm there for the doctors. So it's no problem for me to bring you."
Akira&Shiki
the detective told Kazuhiro to pay close attention to Jun. he told him to talk to Jun. he wondered if he could even mister that. After all, Jun seemed to hate him. But Kazuhiro nodded and spoke to his old partner. "Hey Jun! Don't die, okay? Don't die… I'll make sure that you survive, okay? There's no way I'm going to have to tell your family that you shot yourself. So live!" He didn't want to allude to the fact that they were in fact criminals. So he kept the false gold out of his mouth. In fact, he didn't even think about it. He looked at the detective and watched as he tried to keep the blood from spilling. He wanted to close the wound. Kazuhiro stood up to help, but before he could do anything, the ambulance came up. Along with them came two police vehicles. Paramedics hurried in on the scene, moving Jun on a stretcher and taking him to the ambulance. The detective made his way to Kazuhiro and asked him something. This something made all the blood drain from his face. He looked at the detective and nodded. "Sure… I'll go."
YellowPerch
Ryuu nodded at the man. e could see how pale his face became. Perhaps it was the mention of going to the hospital. Either way, the fact that he just witnessed his friend get shot had to be a part in it. Ryuu clasped the man on the shoulder before heading out of the alley and back to his car. Not first however before stopping to talk and inform the new cops of the situation. When he was done he looked back at the man and ushered him to follow. Ryuu pulled out his car keys from his pants pocket. He was glad he didn't keep them in his coat this time around. He unlocked the doors and got in, turning on the car he waited for the other to get in. When he did, quietly, Ryuu made sure to let him be for now. He pulled out onto the street, following behind the ambulance from the distance. Ryuu gripped tight on the steering wheel, the hell did he get mixed up in this anyway? Was he doomed to always get caught like that? Ryuu glanced over at the other as he sat there in silence. "When we get to the hospital, you'll have to make a report with the police too. We are going to need anything you have that would cause this whole mess." Ryuu waited in the silence for the other to speak. He wasn't going to force anything out of him now. But once they got to the hospital he'd have to be prepared for the rush of medical personnel and cops alike trying to get information on what happened. Akira&Shiki
Kazuhiro looked at the chaos in front of him. What in the world would he tell the cops now? He jumped when the detective slapped his hand on his shoulder. He looked at him, a bit surprised and gave a small smile. He decided that he'd better put on a show and that he'd better come up with something to tell everyone. As he sat in the detective's car, he thought about Jun. it was a bit surprising… but not too crazy. Only because of their line of business did he realize that this might've been fate. When the detective spoke to him about a report, something clicked in Kazuhiro's mind. He suddenly came up with a quick story. "Jun… I guess that Jun was jealous or something…" Kazuhiro pointed to his head. "He wasn't always right in the head, if you catch my drift. But I had proposed to my girlfriend and thinks went downhill from there, I guess."
YellowPerch
"A love triangle, huh? Yeah, that can do it for anyone." Ryuu looked at the man sitting beside him. "Sorry you had to go through this man. We can put surveillance on him if you want. That way you and your girl can feel at ease during the time he's recuperating." Ryuu couldn't even count how many times he'd been called to a home due to relationship fights. The girl is cheating on the guy. The guy has himself three woman to help his needs at night. The guy loves the girl who love his best friend. Shit like that happened everyday for Ryuu. He pulled up to the hospital and drove around to the cop parking area. Te ambulance went through the Emergency Entrance while the got out of the car. There was no need to rush and be on their heels. So the casually walked in so that they could stay out of the way for them to rush through the halls. Ryuu watched as they wheeled the stretcher in to ER, from there he wouldn't be able to follow anyway. "Detective!" Ryuu turned around to find one of the nurses calling him over. He turned back at the other man behind him. "Come on, you'll need to put in your information too." The two walked over to the nurses station and started writing down and/or telling the nurse their own reports.
Akira&Shiki
After being taken to the nurse's station, Kazuhiro retold his lie everyone that bothered to listen. He watched the detective, wondering how long this guy would drag him around. He didn't mind, but he could easily get caught like this. He was eager t lo get away, but he'd seem suspicious of he was in a hurry. He turned to the detective. "Hey, has your friend ever messed with your relationship?" It was a weird question, but he wondered why? Why? He looked at his watch and wondered why his long time friend and partner would do this. He sighed and walked outside to smoke. Gosh… he hated this. He hated being with the police. Now they knew his name. That couldn't have been good!
YellowPerch
Ryuu was inputting his side of the situation to the work forms he as a detective had to fill out when the kid quietly spoke up to him. Asking him a question Ryuu thought he'd really never heard once before in this career. He thought about it. But with his lack of experience in relationships who couldn't say he'd ever been in the middle of something like that. "Sorry man, I can't say Iv'e ever been in a pickle like this." Without any other words the kid walked out. Ryuu watched him as he went, but soon followed. Making sure he stayed to fill out a report for the police when they showed up here after the crime scene. If they ever showed up. With Ryuu's luck they'd call him and tell him to go back to the office in order to fill out the paper work. Which he'd have to do no matter what. Finding the kid outside smoking he walked towards him and crouched down beside him. "Do you have a ride at all? If not I can take you back to the station to fill out the paper work and then bring you home."
Akira&Shiki
Kazuhiro looked at the detective and gulped. He couldn't tell him no… nor could he just give his information to the police. "Um…" he nodded to the detective's offer for a ride. "If you wouldn't mind that." Kazuhiro tossed his cigarette on the ground, then crushed it with his foot. He didn't want to seem too suspicious, but it was most likely a little to late for that. He looked back at the detective, but said absolutely nothing. He just kept his mouth shut. But he started to get worried about this "report". "What kind of papers will I be filling out?" Kazuhiro asked, crouching down beside the detective. YellowPerch
Ryuu waited for the man's answer. When he hadn't gotten one for about a minute he looked up to find him nodding in answer instead of actually mouthing it out. He put a small small on his face and heaved out a sigh before resting his body completely against the wall behind him. After doing so the man crouched down next to him and asked him about the reports. "Ah, yeah, nothing big. Standard practice for us, I just need you to report what exactly happened from before I got there to after I got there. Any information that can help us figure out why he would attack you so violently would probably be needed as well." He looked away for a moment, more so at the cigarette butt the man stepped on just moments ago. "Oh, and if you want to file a restraining order on him too that will be another thing to fill out. Don't worry too much about it though. After all that's taken care of I can drive you back home." Ryuu was never a sociable person. Hell, in school he hd made one friend because he didn't want to deal with drama from groups of them. However, when it came to dealing with people and his job, he came out as a more outgoing person then he ever would admit. He looked back at the man and pat him gently on the back. "Let's head out now. Don't want to stress you out with anything else with what you already have witnessed."
