[Funny Otaku]

"She really is stunning.." He stutter nervously.

He started to move things to create a space for them to sit down and eat...Social aniexty taking over, and him needing todo what the other said to make them happy.

 

"do..Do you mind if I stay for...Dinner." He asked scared to ask

 

He was shaking by now. Just anxiety filling him.

"Yeah," Fiore answered, grinning. "Me and my mom look almost exactly alike!"

 

Then he noticed Echo starting to clean. He didn't want him to clean, but before he could say anything, the timid other asked if he could stay for dinner. What made him think that Fiore would kick him out without feeding him? That would be horrible!

 

"Of course you can stay for dinner," Fiore said, lightly taking Echo's hand. "And stop cleaning. Kia asked me to do it. Not you. You're my guest, so you just wait."

Echo gulped as the other took his hand. His heart started to beat really fast. Echo figured it was because how hot he was.

 

"No..It's okay..Then...Why don't we..Do it together." HE smiled timidly.

 

He squeezed the others hand.

 

"Is it okay..That I'm here?" He asked his never were going off.

Fiore was a bit surprised when Echo squeezed his hand. But maybe Echo just needed someone's reassurance?

 

"Yes, it's okay that you're here," he said. "I invited you after all."

 

Echo was extremely hot, and he seemed very nervous. Fiore slowly touched his cheek.

 

"Don't be nervous, Echo."

As the other touched Echo's cheek, he lite up like a light glowing with pink.

 

"I can't..Can't help it...you..and well people make me nervous." He mumbled.

 

He moved his face away from the others hand. Continuing to clean to clear his mind.

 

Echo wasn't use too this..He would normally be at home reading or just chilling and eating Raman.

"I'm sorry then…"

 

Fiore completely backed off and helped clean up. Maybe he had gone too far? Fiore turned to Echo and looked at him for a while.

 

"Hey, I'm sorry if I went too far," he said, his voice a tad hoarse.

Echo turned to him.

 

"No.No, It's not your fault!..I just have bad aniexty, you did nothing wrong." Echo rambled.

 

He Look into the others eyes for a second and then looked at his hands twiddling with them.

 

"Sorry." He stuttered "I don't want to upset anyone."

Fiore felt incredibly bad for Echo. Not only was he shaking, but he seemed so uncomfortable. He didn't want the poor guy to feel uncomfortable… especially after he had actually warmed up to Fiore! But nevermind that… he felt that he needed to comfort Echo in some sort of way. At the moment, it wasn't about the modeling or the painting. For some reason, Fiore was genuinely concerned.

 

"Hey," Fiore said, his voice getting softer. "You say you don't want to upset anyone, but aren't you upsetting yourself?"

Echo Looked at the other...

 

"I'm I'm fine," He stuttered. "It's totally fine."

 

Echo was use to this..He has this at least 3 to 4 times a day..All he wanted was to make people happy. He always felt like that.

 

"Im fine."

Hearing Echo try his best to assure him that he was fine, Fiore gave up. He just sighed and continued to clean up. Echo was not only unhappy, timid, and meek, but he was also extremely nervous. It was a little annoying, actually, but Fiore felt like he wanted Echo to become comfortable.

 

"I'm sorry," Fiore said. "Hey, I didn't mean to upset you… I just…" He stopped. "Can I touch you?"

Echo looked at the other and continued to help. Echo was use to others getting annoyed with him, he was usual good at covering it up or Max was there to calm him down. He has always been like this, he can still remember when he was 3 or 4 and had to go to this daycare thing and his parents had to get Max to drive from the shoot in the town over and pick him up, because he was in the corner rocking back and forth terrified to even talk to anyone. Once Max got there 2 hours later, He ran to him crying and say he wanted Max, mom and dad. Max had to explain his parents won't be home for awhile. Then there was a time when he was 10 and at an ice cream shop and had a break down cause he thought he took to long to order. Echo knew it was normal for him to feel this way but he felt bad that the other might be annoyed.

 

"You didn't upset me...Please don't think that." He responded.

 

Looking at the other as he asked the question Echo timidly and slowly nodded to it.

Fiore slowly touched Echo's hair. It felt a tad weird, and it seemed a bit comical, but he felt very happy when stroking the strands of his hair. He hoped that this hadn't freaked Echo out.

 

"Even if you say that," Fiore said, "I still feel bad for some reason… hey, do you want to take a break and eat? I smell Kia's food."

 

Hopefully, Echo would say yes and this painfully awkward conversation would cease.

Echo was happy, the others touch was gentle...It was nice..Echo never minded people touching him..It was all he was use to. Max was always touchy feel and loved to hug, so echo learned to love when people were gentle. He quickly snapped out of his daze when the other asked the question..

 

Moving his face away from the other.

 

"Sure...food sounds nice."

Echo was segnifically calmer now. He smiled and cocked his head to the right. '

 

"Thank you Fiore...You are a really nice person."

 

Awkwardly taking the others hand and walking towards the smell of food.

Fiore smiled. "Nice? Thanks, I guess. But I'm not so nice…"

 

He led Echo into the kitchen where Kia was making dinner. She was smiling away once she saw them.

 

"This is so delicious!" she exclaimed.

 

Fiore looked at her as she munched on her own food. "And you weren't going to tell us anything?"

 

"Oh, I didn't want to interrupt you two. You looked so cute together! Maybe you guys should hook up? You'd be so adorable as a couple!" Kia exclaimed.

 

Fiore sighed. "Kia…"

 

"I'm totally serious!" she added.

 

Fiore looked at Echo. Yeah… he was cute and very charming… Wait! Fiore blushed and looked away. He had stared a little too long!

Echo smiled the food smelled really good he was happy. Soon as they entered his stomach growled proving his hunger.

 

[/i]"Oh, I didn't want to interrupt you two. You looked so cute together! Maybe you guys should hook up? You'd be so adorable as a couple!"

 

Echo face went flush as he squeaked in surprise as the other said that. He looked to the floor, gripping his pants.

He was so embrassed right now.

 

He laughed, well more like giggled. Echo hadn't laughed in such a long time. He just found it funny how blatant the other was.

"You really are blatant." He mumbled.

Soon he felt eyes pouring into him and once he looked up his eyes met the other mans, was he...Echo shook his head.

Kia heard Wcho's laughter and his comment about her being "blatant".

 

She only smiled. "Of course! It's a quality of mine!"

 

Fiore sighed. "Let's just hurry up and eat… please."

 

Kia giggled. "Fine, fine. But I'm serious you two! I think you two would be so adorable together."

 

"Will you shut up about it?" Fiore asked, his face a bright red.

 

"Nope," Kia answered. "Never."

 

Fiore looked at her. "What? Do you want me to ask Echo out or something? He wouldn't like it!" He turned to Echo. "…would you?"

Echo sat with them.

"You guys have an interesting friendship."Echo was calmer and happy. He was having fun seeing the other flustered.

 

He looked at the other...

"Well I am very much so gay, and ya." He started confident and then started to stutter again the confidence going away.

 

"But if you are not....then...its fine."

Fiore was surprised. Echo was gay? Well, Fiore wasn't gay, but he might have brought things a bit too far by bringing up relationships. He looked at Echo and blushed again. What the hell was wrong with his face that day?! It wasn't acting the way he wanted it to act!

 

Slowly, he nodded. "If you want to… I mean, if you don't want to date me, I'm fine with it. But if it's fine with you…"

Echo's eyes widened, he had never had anyone interested in him after they talked to him. Everyone would come for what he looked like and as soon as he got anxious they would leave.

 

"You said it's fine if it's me.. does that mean, your not gay.....if so let's not...I don't do the whole test out thing." He mumbled under his breath.

 

Echo had been there done that, his first 'boyfriend' at the age of 14 had wanted to try because of echo's looks..the thing was echo cared for him..It just didn't turn out great for anyone.

Fiore heard Echo's response. Things felt like they were going down.

 

"I don't mean to offend you," he said, glaring back at Kia, who was chuckling.

 

He really didn't mean to offend Echo. He really didn't. And if he did, he felt very horrible.

 

He turned to Kia. "See! This is why you shouldn't play around! Apologize to him."

 

Kia said her apology and then she turned to Fiore. "You should apologize too!"

Echo cover his true emotions of sadness and slaped a smile on and cocked his head to the right. Looking at the other.

"Guys it's fine really, no need to apologize, really, I just wanted to make it clear I don't do the whole test thing." He said in his normal voice.

He took a bite of the food, It was really good.

"Wow Kia this is amazing, I might have to ask you for cooking lessons. I don't have max anymore to cook for me so I've kinda been eating crap." He smiled. It really was good. This was the first time in years Echo felt calm, he wouldn't say he was happy, he was just calm. He hadn't been able to do this in so long.

Kia beamed with happiness. "Oh? That's great!" She turned to Fiore. "See?! Someone knows how good of a wife I could be!"

 

Fiore sighed and looked at his food. He had lost any of the energy he needed to argue back with her. He didn't find it necessary. And anyways, she always found a way to get under his skin, no matter what. So it was best to ignore her.

 

Fiore just kept silent and are his food.

Echo smiled at Kia.

"I'm sure you'er gonna make a lovely wife one day, I'm sure that person will love you." Echo looked over a the silent one.

 

He continued to eat as well.

 

"Fire are you okay?" He asked timidly at the other.

Fiore looked up when he heard his name come out of Echo's mouth.

 

He gave a small nod. "I'm fine…"

 

Shit, he thought to himself, I'm not very convincing.

 

Before he could say anything else, his house phone rang and he got up to answer it.

Echo nodded he didn't belevie the other but wouldn't poke at it. The phone rang cause him to get up once he left echo turned to Kia.

"What's up with him?" He mumbled

He was finishing his food. Sighing he got up and grabbed his bag.

"I think I have overstayed my welcome. Thank you very Much Kai you are a great model, and a great cook. Tell Fiore I have enjoyed our time together." He smiled and walked to the door putting his shoes on and coat, going outside. He took a sigh of refil that he had made it.
