Some don't want to see the dark side of the world; others eagerly embrace it while others are thrust into it. No matter how you enter this side, there was one prominent rule above all:

- The strong will eat the weak -

While others have it easy since they have more connections, are physically strong or have enough money to buy themselves power, there are those who are desperately working to survive the day and not get stabbed in the back. No matter your origin, what you are doing and who you are following is determining your worth in this world. You fight, fight to survive and if you’re lucky live beyond 50 to tell your tales. Because one thing was sure, death would be a constant companion. Be it the death of your partners or your own.

This is the world of the mafia. Of drugs, slavery, death and corruption. Fight to survive, if not you will be eaten.

Daisuke Asukai

blog_ez_4817569_7401180_sz___yakuza_tattoo____by_milwa_cz.jpg

Age:

27 Years

Personality:

Daisuke is a tough man, mentally as well as physically. He possesses an iron will and enough patience. Though that being said, he hates to be looked down upon, going to lengths to prove his worth. And he has a foul mouth too. Though the others of his family do not seem his as one of themselves, Daisuke is known for his loyalty to the family. He would never tell secrets. It would be best to meet him yourself.

Appearance description:

Daisuke has many scares, the most salient scar however is on the right side of his face. It’s from one of his father’s beatings, where said man had taken a broken table leg to beat him. The tattoo signals his affiliation to the Asukai family. Though he might not be wanted, he is still part of it. (Ignore the writing on it though :p)

Biography:

Daisuke Asukai is the sixth son of Akihiko Asukai commonly known as "Beast's Claw" by his fellow yakuza members. He was born from a lowly servant girl that was killed soon after for bearing the child of one of the famous mafia leaders. The boy was unwanted, always scorned and beaten for things he didn't commit. Yet he stayed strong, fulfilled missions for his 'father' and didn't get one coin out of it. He was just a helper, someone that wasn't mourned over when said one died. Daisuke stayed strong through his life and didn't care about others much since this was the way the yakuza was. He just wanted recognition for the things he does. The man didn't want to be a useful tool, he wanted to be part of the mafia family. As such he continued the dangerous missions, getting hurt in the fights, taking the scorn the others send his way. Until he was captured by the opposing mafia leader. A young lad that was promising to change the whole mafia world from the inside out. The leader said he was a dangerous man, taking the things he wants with force. Bad luck made its way towards Daisuke again his leader ordered him to kill this dangerous man, obviously sending Daisuke to his own death........or is it?

Character:

Jin Nishizawa

sociopath_by_deyonside-d6gbg9g.jpg

Age:

30 years

Personality :

Jin is basically the personification of the Antisocial personality disorder; or short: He is a sociopath.

He does what he wants and is considering life as a huge game that he is ambitious to win.

For stepping up and getting his will he lies, he manipulates and he doesn’t flinch from using violence and torture.

His behaviour mediates authority what suits his personality since he is rather dominant and controlling. The man loves power as well as living in absolute sin. Neglecting morals and ethics is like a sport for him as well as the laws others establish are nothing but a joke in his point of view.

Nonetheless he expects the men working for him to follow every rule he establishes and to obey to his every order. Mistrustful in others, he assumes his men trusting blindly in his plans, since he never tells about what exactly he wants to achieve and why he is doing what he does.

Being talkactive most of his words are chosen to seduce others and make them obey him. He is sly and cunning, always calculating his actions and seems like a charming and nice fellow most of the time. When he is disappointed, dissatisfied or provoked by others, however, a thunderstorm rises in him and he seeks destruction, punishment and revenge. Talking of punishment - Jin is quite a sadist.

Appearance description:

Jin is a tall man with an elegant style who has a sense for aesthetics. He loves expensive designer suits and doesn’t wear anything else. He is rather muscular and has a well defined body.

There aren’t too many scars on him, because he beats others before they can get him. However, the only scar worth mentioning is that huge burn scar covering the right side of his stomach. His eyes are nearly colourless.

Biography:

There is not much known about his past. He keeps everything about his childhood and early years a well herded secret. It is said that he appeared out of nowhere, playing out two mafia leaders against each other, manipulating the men in their rows to unite them and become their leader instead.

From the throne he had climbed back then, he was able to cast out his strings getting more and more men and organisations under his control. Bosses of other strong mafia families became scared of him what, as a prove of his power that it was, got him a huge satisfaction. With the growing fear, the leaders of other clans declared him as the number one enemy and he heard rumours about at least one leader who wants to see him dead.

I am so sorry it took so long to reply. I got held up with work, if it happens again I will tell you beforehand.)

A long yawned passed Daisuke's lips on this fine Friday morning. While for the common folk it was the day to be lazy and start into the weekend, for the mafia it was a day like any other. There were rarely any free days and as such the man had to work today too. Given the fact that he was send out to kill the currently strongest mafia leader, at least to those people he asked, he might have been a bit more serious about it. Daisuke didn't have to step into the den of the lion however, for now he was just getting some info. Standing in a dark alley, the sniper rifle tucked safely on his side was just around if a good moment to murder the other should arrive.

The leader, Nishizawa Jin, was currently in a meeting in the building opposite to the place he was hiding in. But Daisuke wasn't able to get any information regarding the content of the meeting. As usual, mafia guys were pretty secretive concerning information. But a bullet or two got almost everyone talking. But even then it didn't save the poor guy. After all, his own life was more important to him then one of the enemies'. So he got date, time and meeting place. Neither the room nor when it will be over. But Daisuke couldn't return empty handed. If he did....then well there will be another head rolling on the floor and Daisuke didn't want to die yet, not before he got finally acknowledged by his father. He is no daddy kid, but if you got beaten by your own supposed 'father' then something evolved inside you. But who was he kidding; in this world it was common. But he would not bow to fate like that; he would get his place in the end.

His eyes stayed trained on the windows and entrance of the building. Daisuke only got a vague explanation of Jin’s looks. His hands drifted towards the rifle, as soon as he saw his opportunity he would strike. If none came up then he would have to continue to spy on them. Infiltrating their group was also an option but it would put him at a disadvantage.

The curtains were closed before the windows, keeping the morning sun out of the dusty room. There they sat, fifteen men on leather seats around a mahogany table in a luxurious conference room.

Smoking his cigar, the whisky glass in front of him on the table, Jin Nishizawa felt a sudden heaviness coming over his whole body. It was 10:00 am, time to leave for home, or how he used to call it: ‘there where my bed stands’. Jin hadn’t slept since two days, not to forget the fact that he predominantly worked during the evenings and nights. He usually went to bed when others went to work. But the last days, he hadn’t been home. He had been on a working trip and when he had come back home, he had to attend the meeting. And this very meeting took longer than planned, thanks to that make-up artist and the concerns that had spread under his men. So he had to get rid of that issue and make the men forget their concerns again.

His nearly colourless eyes watched around. It seemed that he had done a good job. Sure, they still didn’t look too happy but they were determined to do as he had ordered and to fulfil their duty to him. A smile sneaked on his face while he listened to a member who was busy reading numbers over numbers to him and he glanced into nearly the same face fifteen times. All his men looked like him. They even wore contact lenses to have the same eye ‘colour’ he had. One had to admit that this make-up chick did an excellent job with this. She wasn’t particularly smart and he didn’t really enjoy sleeping with her and still less talking to her, but she knew what she was doing when it came to make-up art. So he had been able to use her for his abvantage. Besides she was obedient and admired him, as so many did. It was enough to dedicate a few words to her and she gave him everything in exchange. Anyhow, he wouldn't like to have her around too much. When she wasn't usefull at a particular moment, her stupid claptrap made him want to shoot her.

In one swallow he emptied the glass of whisky in front of him, stretched himself and got up from his chair. The fifteen really could have been his ugly siblings or something. He even made them buy expensive suits from their own money to make them look as much as him as possible. Only two of them had a cigar like he did though. Jin moved his neck and it made a cracking sound. Ever since he could remember, he had been a cautious fellow. There was no day where he had ever felt save. ‘The day you feel save on this planet, is the day they will tear you down till not even a ruin is left of you,’ was what he had told himself all the years. And with every year that had past, he became more distrustful; always awatch, always on guard. With that he had come this far. Jin couldn’t think of a time he’d ever let his guard sink low enough, that one could have got him unaware. Like hell he would become unwary now and naturally not, when he had just learned that one mafia leader ordered someone to kill him off. The tired man with his black hair and his dark suit smiled, wide and calm. He knew that guy was there; somewhere outside, waiting for him to leave the building. He knew, that one of his men was missing who knew of the meeting. And he damn well knew that he wouldn’t leave the building throughout any common and known exit. No, he wouldn’t, but his men would, looking just like him, although not that impressive and handsome. Six of them would leave through the front and six through the back door. His two bodyguards and his personal assistant would stay by his side. When the killer would shoot, other men were positioned to locate him and shoot him down with a tranquillizer dart. If that works, he’d have quite an amusing Friday evening, after he would have slept. If not, they’d just continue to play their little game. That was up to his men.

The room slowly cleared until there were just the four of them left. The two body guards who accompanied him everywhere and his personal assistent. His personal assistent was a gorgeous person and he would have seduced him, but he didn't because he was his personal assistent. That rule, he had made up for himself. What didn't stop him from sleeping with his wife once of course. Jin locked the door, went over to a bookshelf, pressed a button and let it swing open. He and his three men disappeared in an elevator. It took a bit of time to reach the basement under the cellar. A black limousine with tinted windows stood there as if it was waiting for them. The body guards went for the divers and the co-drivers seats and he as well as his personal assistant went into the huge cosy and luxurious room of the limousine. They drove through a secret tunnel system for about twenty minutes, before they came out in an old warehouse, which they left immediately, getting on the highway soon.

All he wanted for that day was to win this, because wining this round meant he’d stay alive and he also felt an ungovernable desire for his bed.

It's been nearly two hours now. A short glance to his watch told him it was 10 am. God, he had been standing or additionally crouching in that dark alley for around two hours now. And he hadn't even been here when it started. But well, if it meant he would be able to fulfil this mission then Daisuke would even wait 4 hours. He could live with a day without eating, drinking or sleeping. It has already occurred often enough and he got used to it. For every day he is missing though, he fulfils his needs tenfold. When he went without eating once, he ate four servings of an Angus steak in one of his frequently visited restaurants. It was a wonder that he didn't really gain any pounds during that. Probably had to do with his workouts. His body was buff, like usually every male in the mafia world. Not fat but trained. Thinking about food made him hungry but he wouldn't move till the enemy left the building.

For that he didn't have to wait long, soon six men left the entrance all looking the same. His eyes hardened. "Does he intend to mock me?" he gritted through his teeth. The description of Jin Nishizawa fitted to their appearance. But since he was missing accurate details, he didn't know if the right one was with them. So far for his chance to just shoot him. The other obviously was very cautious, if he already knew of the killer after him was another question all together. Hoping for the best, he watched the men leave all stepping into different looking limousines. So this time wasn't successful. It gets him in quite a bind, he could not return to plan his next move. It seemed like he had to pick some of Jin's man up again and ask him for the location of his hideout. Not an easy task since most mouths were closed in this world. *Sigh* So another night with searching for clues.

With resentment towards the other, he stuffed his rifle into the brief case he was carrying around. It took a bit of disassembling it but he managed in a few minutes. Though his appearance didn't make him look like a formal worker, at least he was wearing a suit to match with the briefcase. The jacket was open and he didn't wear a tie, going rather for the carefree look. Anyway, he hoped that the other didn't know of him. So he stepped out of the alley towards the street. It was the only way available and he didn't think that the enemy had men on the lookout for him. He killed the man's subordinate just yesterday evening.

But that got him thinking, his own father was the leader of one of the strongest families but many of his 'allies' got already killed by Jin. It was obvious that his own father send him on a suicidal mission. One man could not easily kill the enemy, yet he accepted. Was he really that desperate to get his rightful place? Even that desperate to maybe get himself killed? Pff, getting killed would probably be a mercy. No, concerning the stories he heard he would probably be tortured until he didn't want to live anymore but won't be given the chance of death. But he started this mission already; Daisuke Asukai wouldn't not abandon his mission. If there was one positive thing that he was known of in the family, it was stubbornness and pride concerning his work. Now.....what should he do to find the enemies hideout. It won't be an easy task. His thoughts about infiltrating the enemies family was already out of count. Though he might be able to fit in, his tattoo easily told them who he worked for. What an idiot even came up with that idea. Ah right, his father wanted 'solidarity' in his rows and he thought it was a brilliant idea to show their relations by tattoos that one couldn't easily remove. Brilliant idea. He released a pained sigh; he wondered why he wanted to even do this. He would fare better in another family. It wasn't like he was tied to the Asukai family, they didn't want him anyway. But no, before he even think that he would make sure to just show them what they have been disgracing all along and then he will dump them like a hot potato. But for now, his loyalty lay with his 'family'.

After he had taken a shower in his exclusive residence, he went straight over to the bedroom wearing a towel. The window shades were closed and his room was completely dark. Before he went over to his bed he took a last look on his mobile phone. A message informed him: “No shooting. We couldn’t locate the killer. Identified three suspicious persons. Investigation runs. We’ll keep you informed.”

Jin crunched his teeth and grudged throwing the phone back on the sideboard. This was not what he had wanted to hear. Sure, he got away so the killer failed but this also meant that he still was bothered with that. Cutting his thoughts off, he threw his own body on the bed and buried his face into the pillow. Less than five minutes had past when he fell asleep.

Jin Nishizawa heard his phone ring. He blinked but everything stayed black. The mafia leader hadn’t moved, not even a little. His face pressed into the pillow he laid on his stomach. Annoyed he turned around staring at the ceiling for a couple of seconds before he hastily got up aiming for his phone.

A stressed moan escaped his mouth, he ruffled through his black hair and then answered in his rough voice which sometimes sounded similar to a saw sawing wood into pieces :”I see. If you want to live make sure to have the right whisky there for me or else I can’t guarantee I won’t hack you into pieces for this.” The man on the other end of the line murmured a thousand apologies in a remarkable speed but Jin hung up on him. Checking the time he hurried to get ready to leave. Admiring his own reflection he forced himself to leave the bathroom with all the mirrors behind to watch the videos the observation cameras recorded. Smoking the first cigar and drinking a glass of his beloved whisky he clicked through the videos. Nothing happened that was worth mentioning it. Drinking the last sip of whisky he stood up from the chair and called for his bodyguards. The twins had something of giants, they were even taller than Jin and they looked as if they were able to crunch a head with just one hand. “We head for Takashi’s Club right away. Tell Aido to meet us there.” He ordered and the younger twin took out his cellphone immediately to inform Aido. Nishizawa curled his lip. “Until we got the killer, I’ll change residence daily. Tomorrow I’ll occupy your apartment.” He decided without asking. The older twin who wasn’t busy calling Jins personal assistant looked miserable. “Begging your pardons Nishisawa-sama, but I don’t think our apartment would fit your standards. What about occupying Aidos house instead ? I’ve once been there it is splendid.” The guard smiled awkwardly. Jins eyes blinked dangerous and a sly smile creeped into his face. “Oh, I am more than happy to hear that you are caring about my wellbeing that much, Itou. I will consider it.” Jin answered convincing. “Really ?” the older Itou brother said totally confused now. The elegant boss snorted and laughed at the same time and that glare came right back into his eyes. He got the bodyguard by his necktie pulling him down on his own height hissing:”Of course not you bloody fool. I will get your apartment and you will be glad to have me or whip you to death.” Before Jin could let go of the older brother the younger one, covering the cellphone with one hand, turned to Jin: ”Nishisawa-sama, Aido says he can’t be there before 10:00 pm. He’s at the restaurant with his wife and his kids ....” Rolling his eyes Nishisawa Jin cut him off and smiled a cold, fake smile. “He’ll be there in ten minutes and abandon them. I am pretty sure he will.” With these words he left for the door ordering the two twins to follow him.

When he entered the club many eyes went over to the three men. The bass was booming, it was hot and sticky and the light flickering in many different colours. Jin went for the VIP longue, placed himself there in a red armchair, overlooking everything and waited for someone to come with his whisky. Aido arrived before the whisky and he didn’t seem glad to see Jin or be in that Club at all. Jin wasn’t either, because the reason why he went there was a failure of one of his henchmen.

It’s been hours now since the failed mission in the morning. Daisuke wasn’t able to get even just a scrap of info. He trailed after a few mafia members but they were just on their usual missions. Just like him. Since he was outnumbered, he didn’t bother with picking a fight. He might be strong but he couldn’t risk one of them getting away and telling Jin about the killer after him. It was already bad enough that the other probably knew already. It was just a nagging until now but Daisuke was sure that the other got informed about him, one way or another. Information seemed to travel fast in the enemy family, so he had to be careful with what he did. So no risking moves at the moment, no killing or any other things that are sure to attract attention. Meaning he just could shadow the members. And even for that he had to be careful not to be detected. Daisuke knew that it wouldn’t be easy but that it would be that hard to get any information. Now he had to survive inside enemy territory for an unknown amount of time. That seriously didn’t sit well with him. As long as he doesn’t flash his tattoo around it should be okay..…he thinks. He just had to find a place to sleep and maybe even a kitchen. He would rather cook for himself then to use all his well-earned money in a restaurant. But for today at least there wouldn’t be any other way.

The whole afternoon he spends collecting information and simultaneous search for a place to sleep. Sadly, the only place he could afford for a few nights and wasn’t that far into the city, was a small and kind of rundown motel. The rooms weren’t fancy but it would do. He would just spend the night in them anyway. The henchmen didn’t need luxury; he wasn’t used to it anyway. Sadly, they didn’t have a kitchen he could use so his only way to eat was go into a restaurant. He might die during this mission so he guessed it was okay to spend some money. Maybe even get something good to eat as his last meal. Still wearing his casual suit, he walked around the city once more. This time in search for a restaurant he could sit in. And it didn’t take him long. He found one that looked cosy enough and not that high rated. So basically one that allowed someone that looked like him in without calling security. Don’t get me wrong, even with his scars and all that Daisuke looked rather handsome but yeah you could easily see that he wasn’t your goody two-shoes.

He was shown towards a table in the back and it didn’t take long to order his meal. Today he was hungry for fish and to go along with that a glass red wine. Maybe for everyone else that was a pussy meal but Daisuke enjoyed these calm meals more than just shovelling food into his mouth and choke on his beer. But truth be told, he wanted something stronger than red wine. So he decided to visit a bar after his meal. Maybe he will even get some juicy gossip on the town’s mafia. Heh, one could still dream. It was more getting drunk than actually get any info’s. Though he had to be careful, he will have to stop with being half-drunk. He might be a sleepy drunk but he can’t afford stepping on someone’s toes. Not in his situation. Anyway, while he waited for his food to arrive, Daisuke let his gaze swipe over the different families and people in the restaurant. It was hard to see if someone was in the mafia when they were casual. But it was fun nonetheless to see if he could spot someone. After a while though, he stopped. One: because his food arrived and second because he didn’t see anyone that looked even close to being related to his world.

The meal was spend in silence, just how he liked it. He stopped counting how often one of his own family made his meal time their personal playground. He was really hated, huh? But whatever, at least he still lived until today. After paying for his meal he decided to visit a bar just like he planned. It didn’t take long for him to find one; it was just around the corner. For once in his life he wasn’t careful. Frankly because he just didn’t care at the moment. He walked through the door and went straight for the bar. Though he could dance, he only decided to do so when he wanted to get laid. And at the moment that was the least he wanted to do. After sitting down he spoke to the bartender “A shot whisky on the rocks.” and shoved over the needed money. He could ask for seconds after drinking that one. He wasn’t out to get really drunk after all so he had to keep his drinking in check.

Losing his patience he waited for his whisky and Takashi to arrive at the longue. He didn’t say a thing keeping the eyes at the dancefloor and the bar below the VIP longue. The overview was good and he could see everything going on there. Takashi’s was not really his Club but he controlled it. So most of the guests were either members of his mafia family, from organisations which worked for him or people who simply hadn’t a clue about what place they had just entered.

The door was opened by a lady in a blue cheongsam dress. She had long black curls and spoke with a Chinese accent. Jin knew who she was and he also knew that she was more dangerous and bossy than her husband, Takashi, could have been. He liked her pretty much for she was a viper that he could play with. And vipers were his favourite animals by far. She brought his whisky to him and smiled politely, while asking what his men would like to drink. When she wanted to leave the room again, Jin grabbed her wrist. Her eyes widened and she looked at him with an asking expression. Jin sighed as if it was a burden to tell her this, as if he didn’t like to rebuke people at all. “Dear, I know that it is not your fault, but I have to tell you that I feel a little irritated and meanwhile I’m getting quite impatient. The task I gave your husband was, let’s talk honest, quite simple and still he managed to mess it up. Not to mention the extra work I have with that now. Just because of his incompetence Aido had to quit dinner with his family. I am a really understanding and empathetic man, you know I am. Unfortunately, I’ll have to take appropriate action if something like that will ever happen again. I want your husband here in five minutes to sort this out. I want a solution, or I’ll become a quite unpleasant fellow. Understood, honey ?” The black eyes of the woman blinked and she smiled a toxic smile: “I’ll tell him right away Nishizawa-sama. It would be a pain if something happened to him.” She winked at him and was about to leave the room when Jin said, starring at her with empty eyes and talking in an apathetic voice:” Or to you !” Now fear scuttled over her face down her hair and neck, just like a long legged spider. Instantly she left the room and Jin focussed his attention on the whisky and the cigar the younger Itou brother gave to him.

After two minutes he didn’t want to sit still anymore. He was dissatisfied. He had said five minutes and meant right away. If this guy would show up one second later Takashi would regret it. He’d definitely regret it. Having too much energy and being restless, Jin walked towards the bulletproof glass and looked down on the crowd. The colourless eyes moved from the dancefloor to the bar, checking each person out. Most of them he’d already seen before in his life. One he hadn’t. And this one didn’t look like a tourist or a normal person who just got lost in Takashi’s. That guy, Jin knew how to identify them, was a yakuza. And he was not from his family, nor a henchmen or one of his spies.

A triumphal grin came to his face and he took a pull on his cigar. Without looking anywhere else, he placed the glass of whisky on a various table and called one of his men. “You and your men, bring him up to me. But unarm him first.” Through the glass he was able to see how five of his men surrounded the guy at the bar, pressing guns at his back, his side and his forehead. The people on the dancefloor or at the bar ignored what was going on. They knew that they were forced to look away and keep themselves out of Jins business. The five men unarmed the man with the scars on his face and now Jin forgot Takashi who still wasn’t there.

After one or two minutes had past, the door was opened and the stranger, forced by his men, entered the longue. Jin looked him in the eyes and his sly smile showed joy and amusement. Smoking his cigar and looking pleased doing so, he stayed silent, just stared at the other man, piercing him with his look. “Show me his tattoos.” He ordered the five, standing there like an imperator and a judge in one person, flanked by the giant twins. The pale mans eyes flickered in satisfaction when he saw the tattoos. This was the family who send the killer after him and that probably was the guy. “Well, well now we finally meet in person. I am .... oh, pardon me, you know who I am of course, since you have been trying to kill me for quite a while now.” Jin talked casually, drinking a sip of whisky. “It seems like you’re pretty good. If not so, I would have got you way earlier and you’d probably be dead by now. Still you seem to be too sure of yourself, feeling too secure. One rash, bad decision and being to unwary can soon lead to failure and destruction. Never learned that lesson before pal ? Obviously you did now.” The man in the expensive suit smirked and went closer to the man who wanted to kill him. With a theatrical sob and artificial concern he narrated:” What an unfortunate being you are. Hated by your leader enough to send you on a mission no one could accomplish before. It seems like no one cares if you live or die. You are not important enough for them, hmm ? Someone must have thought your dead would be bearable, because he must have known pretty well that non who ever tried to kill me before had survived it.”

  • 2 weeks later...

Not long and his shot of whisky arrived. Absentmindedly he started to sip from it, watching the people on the dancefloor. Daisuke even got to small talk with the bartender. He didn’t bother asking any questions relating mafia business. It would be his well-deserved break for now. Before he was send on this mission, he did another and wasn’t allowed any type of rest. The Advisor of the Asukai family, Hidetoshi Nabuya, was one crafty snake and loyal to the boss. As such it seemed that he made it his job to watch Daisuke like a hawk and get him as often as possible away from the main house. The henchman didn’t care though. He liked their second resident better anyway. But Hidetoshi didn’t even let him rest between missions; then again no one was spared from his satanic methods. It wasn’t unusual if someone died now and then. A real slave driver that didn’t get his own hands dirty.

His talk with the barmen was soon over and he went to watching the people again. It didn’t take long for that activity to stop too. He felt the familiar muzzle of a gun pressed to his head and with a sideway glance he saw the one wielding it. Obviously a yakuza and he wasn’t alone. Four others soon surrounded him. Deciding that he shouldn’t fight in a bar full with innocent people, he did have a good natured strand in him after all, he handed over his gun without a fuss. Nobody said anything and that was okay to him. He got lead, rather roughly, up the stairs to the VIP Lounge. Bold letters told it and Daisuke wondered if he would really meet his end so soon. One careless moment….. but Daisuke was prepared and would accept his mistake.

His target, the goal of the mission, stood before him. Jin Nishizawa. He already hated the sly grin the other gave him. The other was grinning about his mistake and Daisuke hated it. He might accept it himself but he hated if others told it to him again and again. He was shoved roughly and the five henchmen undressed him so that his family tattoo was showing. //Great idea ‘father’.// he thought sarcastically yet again and got turned around to face Jin. Daisuke let the other speak and huffed in the middle of it. “I know that already, why are you telling me again? I was and will be prepared to die on every of my missions. I did make a mistake, trying to enjoy a drink yes but that’s just part of the job now isn’t it?” he cockily replied. Though he was forced to accept this mission, didn’t mean he went unprepared. Looking at past missions or the deaths of the dead hitmen send after Jin spoke volumes. But even if he wanted to he could not deny his father. Or else he would be dead too. Either he died through Jin and his men or through his own family. Hard to choose isn’t it? He would die either way. He would not be swayed by some imperator that tries to take over the mafia world. He would rather bite his tongue and die. If he was known for one thing, it was his stubbornness. He listens rarely to others, just following his heart and his own mind. No matter how stupid it sounded.

The other man rudely interrupted him. Jin had had plenty tongues cut out for interrupting and disrespecting him but this time, he felt amusement and began to laugh condescending. He forced Aido to hold the cigar and the whisky for him while he came closer to the other man. “Another bold man without fear of death hmm ?” With glowing eyes and a smile which went from one ear to the other he looked down on him. “How brave !” the husky voice said every word drowning in sarcasm. Jin leaned over and whispered in his ear :” I tell you a secret, I admit to fear death ! And because I do, I am still alive.” Abruptly he turned away pulling the whisky out of Aidos hand, taking a sip and forcing the other man to hold it for him again. Constantly grinning he pulled out his gun and as if he wouldn’t have done so, he kept talking and gesturing the same way examining the stubborn man. He seemed determined, like a chained dog which wanted to be a wolf and that was rather interesting. Jin had lost count of how many men he had killed or had let killed by his men, neither did he care but this man seemed different in a way. “Plenty people have said they were prepared to die yet none of them were. No one is ! Not even those who wish to die or who think they got nothing to lose, like you do. No matter the body wants to live, every single cell.” Jin raised his knee and pushed it into the stomach of the man in front of him. With one stroke he made him fall to the ground and placed his foot onto his back. Jin pointed the gun at the man’s head and whilst he was unlocking the gun he said :”But maybe I am in the wrong here ! Maybe you won’t struggle to live and really are prepared to die.” One finger of his manly, strong hand reached the trigger. Everyone around kept quite so one could hear how he slowly, more likely in slow-motion, pulled the trigger down and the further it went down, the brighter his eyes shone. And then he shot and the bullet hit the floor one centimetre left from Daisukes head. Jin laughed sardonically, took his foot away and leaned down saying:” I was making a jest. I won’t kill you yet. I sure will but don’t worry, I know even jests way funnier than this one. We sure will have a lot of fun.”

Daisuke growled when the other started to laugh. Was it that funny to see someone like him shoved on the hard ground? Probably, people with power always found it funny if the weak lay on their feet. The basic behavior of humanity, at least to him. They always thought they were something better but if the situation was dire, they clung to him to save their own lives. Pathetic. But no, though Jin was also a powerful man, he wasn’t like that. Jin also had the physical power and wits to back him up. He was truly dangerous. It was thrilling to finally meet someone like that. His own father was also quite strong but not nearly as witted as Jin. Usually Hidetoshi was the brain of the family while the leader was the brawn. Jin didn’t need someone else. It was frightening in a way but nothing that let him cower in fear.

He was shoved on his stomach, his family tattoo shining brightly in the lamp light. His very own death sentence. He couldn’t help but release a chuckle. “I grew tired of fearing death. Of course I don’t want to die yet, since I still want to accomplish something but I also know…..when it is time to stop struggling. Either I die through your hand now or later because I didn’t finish my mission. I am not desperate to start a fight when it is clear that I won’t get out of your territory anyway.” the henchman replied, his hands were still crossed behind his back curtesy of the rope tied around them. His face was squished on the ground because of this weird position.

Not long after he spoke his presuming last words, he felt the familiar muzzle of the gun again and a, for his ears, loud chocking sound of the gun filtered through his ears. So he would really die. If he had at least a chance he would have started a fight. But being surrounded, without a weapon and his hands bound didn’t give him any room. Even before he would be able to stand upright again he would be dead. He wasn’t like those guys in movies. He couldn’t do a flip with his feet and get a gun or blade through that. He was just one man, not a super hero. In resignation he closed his eyes and awaited his end. The shot was triggered and for a few seconds he waited with bathed breath. But his end didn’t come. The bullet “missed” his head. And it was clear to Daisuke that he was played. He growled like a caged animal. “I would rather have you kill me. I don’t have a kink in being tortured.” Daisuke growled out mockingly. If he wouldn’t be killed, then he would be tortured to get information. And though he didn’t like his father or the members of his family, he would never betray the Asukai Family. Though he was a bastard child, he had rights to the leader position. Though Daisuke wouldn’t want to lead the family, he would love to rip the leader position from his father. In his eyes, he himself wasn’t the disgrace of the family but his father and his oh so wonderful advisor. At least he had pride and honor.
