He is cool, calm and collected most of the time but is enthusiastic when faced with something of interest to him. He is faithful, gentle and a kind soul which makes the single girls of his course attracted to him. However, he is not the perfect Prince Charming the girls imagine him as. He can be stubborn and mean at times.

Biography

Luke was raised in a middle class family. He lived with his parents and two younger siblings, a boy and a girl, in a double-storied house for the past 18 years before he started living in the dormitory next to his university. He is close to his family and cares for them greatly. He had an average school life from elementary to high school. Now, an undergraduate studying biology, he has a pretty normal lifestyle. Nothing interesting happened throughout his life. About his sexual orientation, he is bisexual and has been out since high school. Society was pretty accepting of this. He had a girlfriend and a boyfriend after during high school. Hence, he had experience from both sides when it comes to intimacy. Now, he is free and single. He is aware of a few girls and boys after him but none of them interests him. Luke loves to swim since he was a kid. However, after attending university, he could only swim on weekends. He spends at least two hours and at most four before he returns to study or spend time with close friends.

It was just another school day, Luke told himself. Another, in his opinion, boring day. Sure, he was not expecting something like a superhero to fly into his university or a magical being to appear before him. Those were just some fantasy for the kids to believe in. Of course, when he was twelve, he did use to believe that he would be able to space travel and meet aliens but that dream was what it is. A dream and nothing more. Now an adult, he was faced with harsh reality. To grow up, to graduate and then to work till he has grey hair on his head. And perhaps start a family in the process. Either way, a pretty boring life. The black-haired male trudged out of the lecture hall in his pair of beige khaki pants and his books in his hands. His friends clapped him on his back and he smiled, waving them off. They took off to the cafeteria while Luke pulled out a sandwich as he walked in the direction of the library. On Fridays, he liked to spend time in the library during lunch hour. He liked to bask in the silence as he read or study. It was not because he was a loner. He does take lunch with his friends on other days. But Fridays were his and his alone to catch up with his lectures or immerse himself in a novel. When he arrived at the library with his sandwiches eaten completely, he approached the counter to return the novel he borrowed last week before picking a table in a quiet corner to place his lecture notes. Moving once more, he found himself browsing reference books in the science section, looking for the books his Professor recommended. Once that was done, he drifted to the fiction section and looked for the next novel to dive into. He needs to read before he goes to sleep every night. What should he read next? He does love books in the crime genre. Picking up a particular hardcover book, he read the summary to see if it would be worth reading the novel. Luke spent some time away from his table, selecting books before returning to his desk only to find the right end occupied by someone. While he loved to have a table to himself, it was a free country and the furniture does not belong to him. He got out his headphone and plugged it into his mp4 player. The music played as he flipped open a book with his lecture notes by his side and a pen in his right hand. It was peaceful on a Friday. There were less students than usual. Most of them were out, spending time with friends or loved ones either in or out of campus while Luke stayed holed up in the library. He jotted down a few notes on the sticky notes he pasted. Hours later, the big clock hung on the wall opposite him showed that it was close to five in the evening. The green-eyed male stood up and stretched his stiff muscles. His table mate was clearing up his books. Their eyes met briefly and Luke wondered if they have met before but brushed it off. The other strode away as Luke was gathering his books and papers. It was time to return to his room for a shower and an early dinner. He put the reference books in the return cart and proceeded to check out the novel he decided on. A few students were leaving too as he was stepped out into the hallway. Luke strolled at a steady pace towards his dormitory, passing by the school yard, which was almost deserted. What should he have for dinner, he contemplated.
Kotorichan
Name: Ellier Nora Age: 19 Height: 5'11 Weight: 148lbs Hair Color: Silver-Purple Eye Color: Golden Species: Water Nymph Occupation: Healer for a village Character: Usually pretty spaced out, has trouble keeping track of time. Very friendly to anyone he meets but usually spends his time alone in his cottage. Biography: Ellier was raised by his parents to be a healer, once he grew old enough he moved to another town to help people. He lives in a small cottage just outside of town where he can grow herbs and other plants. He doesn't usually go into town unless there is something that he needs that doesn't grow in his garden. His life is very simple and carefree unless there is someone with an illness that is difficult to treat. He has only been in one brief relationship with another boy in his home town, but now he is too caught up in his own life to go out of his way to meet anyone. The sun was just beginning to set as Ellier left the village. He had spent the afternoon trading simple medicines for the things he would need in the upcoming week. The trail to his cottage wasnt through a dangerous part of the forest, so he didn't mind that it was dark. He knew the area far too well to get lost on his way home, and it was relaxing to walk through the quiet trees. He watched as fireflies came out, and listened to the owls wake up. The walk back to his cottage took almost an hour, but he barely noticed the time pass. The summer night was comfortably warm, even when Ellier waded through the stream near his home. He arrived at his doorstep somewhat tired, but not exhausted. The day hadn't been too busy, no one in the village was particularly sick so he had just been able to do his trading and talk to some of the people he knew. They had even treated him to dinner as thanks for helping with their son's fever the previous month. It took a few minutes for him to put away all the things he had gotten, but soon enough his small cottage was in pristine condition as usual. He didn't like to leave things messy since he could never find anything if it wasn't put away. Ellier stripped off his clothes and stepped outside with a towel. He slipped into the small pool that he had made at the edge of the stream to use as a bath in warm weather. No one ever came near his home so he didn't have to worry about anyone seeing him while he bathed. He let out a soft sigh of relaxation and leaned back to look up at the starry sky. Yu_Kanda_YK
As Luke was contemplating on what to have for dinner, he adjusted his bag and the books to a more comfortable position. Lasagna? Or canned tomato soup? Or boring cup noodles? He groaned as he wished he could have steak. However, as a poor undergraduate, steaks are reserved for special occasions only. A shout from behind him startled him. He craned his neck and saw his neighbour waving at him. "Hey, Luke. Wait up!" Luke smiled at the red-haired man whose name was Alex. The other grinned widely, finally catching up and the two started walking at a leasure stride towards their dormitory. "So how's life treating you today?" Alex slung a heavy arm over Luke's shoulder. They were about the same height but where Luke's build is athletic, Alex is more lanky. "Been good. How about you?" Luke answered him, glancing at the other as they finally arrived at the front door of their dormitory. The black-haired male headed in the direction of the kitchen on their floor while his neighbour padded softly behind him. There were not any living being in the kitchen at this hour on a Friday as everyone was either out with friends or dating. "I was waiting for you to ask that!" Alex said in glee, taking a seat. "I met this beautiful lady and guess what?" Rummaging through the cabinet for his recently purchased cup noodles, Luke asked a 'what'. "Turned out she was actually a he! Isn't that awesome? We exchanged phone numbers and hooked up instantly. He's so cute, I'm telling you." Luke rolled his eyes as he tossed a cup noodle at Alex who nodded in thanks. The latter joined the black-haired male in filling their cups with hot water. "I'm going to his place, which is directly above my room, later at 10." Alex seemed so happy Luke did not want to ruin the mood by pointing out that his new boyfriend was known to be a playboy and has broken so many men's heart. Maybe this time would be different. Then again, there is a possibility that his boyfriend is playing with him too. "So met your significant other?" The change of topic pulled Luke back into focus and he looked at Alex with a raised eyebrow. The stopwatch on his phone rang and the two started digging into their food. "What do you think?" Alex gave him a pitying look and a light punch on his arm. "You'll find them soon. Who knows, might be an alien for all we know." Right, Alex is an astronomy student. Figures that he would mention aliens. As if aliens exist.
Kotorichan
It was close to midnight when Ellier emerged from his bath, the water was so relaxing that he had fallen asleep. Fortunately it wasn't dangerous for him, the nymph could breath underwater as easily as in air. He climbed out of the water and quickly dressed himself, planning to go to back to his cottage to sleep for a few more hours. He stopped just outside of his door, a strange sound catching his attention. It wasn't a sound that he had ever heard before, a strange buzzing like some sort of insect but somehow different. Ellier hurried inside and threw a few things into a bag that he would need if someone was hurt or he got lost in the woods. After a moment of thought he slipped his only weapon into his belt, a beautiful silver dagger that had been given as a gift. Slowly he left his cottage with his supplies. He knew that he wouldn't be able to sleep if he didn't investigate the sound, it could either be a danger to himself or the nearby village. The nymph began to walk towards the sound, it was very faint at his cottage but it grew louder as he walked towards it. Soon it sounded like a swarm insects, but there were no bugs in sight. He stopped in a small clearing and looked around, it felt like something was amiss but Ellier couldn't tell what it was. He didn't sense any danger, but he was still on edge. Just as he was about to keep walking he noticed it out of the corner of his eye. One of the trees was completely covered in a glassy black substance. Ellier stepped towards it, resting his hand on the hilt of his dagger. The black substance seemed to be reflecting a room of some sort. Upon closer examination Ellier realized it was a closet, filled with strange clothes that Ellier had never seen as well as boxes and bizarre objects. The nymph chewed his lip for a moment, trying to understand what he was seeing. He had heard stories about portals to other worlds appearing for short periods of time, but those were just legends from hundreds of years ago. Still, he couldn't just ignore whatever this was. He slowly reached out his hand and touched the surface. It gave under the slight pressure, rippling like water and allowing his hand through. The black substance didn't feel wet or sticky, it didn't feel like anything, but once his hand was through Ellier could feel a difference in the air. The temperature and humidity felt strange on his skin, like a completely different season was just through this portal. He pulled his hand out, looking down to make sure that no harm had been done. He thought for a moment, wondering if he should leave and forget this ever happened, but somehow he couldn't bring himself to walk away. He took a deep breath and stepped a bit closer, knowing that he was about to do the most reckless thing of his entire life. Without any further hesitation he stepped through the portal, almost immediately tripping over one of the boxes and falling onto the floor of the new world with a loud cry of pain.
