"Sorry...," the redhead muttered apologetically as his eyes widened a fraction. He didn't mean to scare him, maybe he should've just called out to him? 'Instead of scaring him half to death!' The male immediately started to turtle back into himself, looking anywhere but at Enju. Tuning out the other's excuse about the two things sticking out from his head. 'Is that what using too much moose looks like?' It was unsettling to say the least. Sora felt that he's done enough for today and should head back to the library and close it early. Just so he can go home and use Taiga as a cuddle buddy. It my seem unwise to cuddle a cat like Taiga, who was too big and heavy, but somehow the feline didn't care in the slightest. In fact, his pet enjoyed it. Even going as far as demanding it. Huffing silently, the male looked over at the other to see that he had the hoodie on backwards and was currently trying to fix it. A corner of his mouth twitched in amusement from the sight but he remained impassive. He raised an eyebrow when the other male's stomach growled once again. 'Did he ever eat? Or can he not afford it?' Sora's eyes widened when Enju continued, the other's smile disappearing when he spoke about never experiencing kindness before. It looked as if he was going to cry. "I- i know of this hotdog place!" The redhead suddenly burst out, voice now just a fraction above normal volume. Now feeling flustered and embarrassed. "I mean...you're hungry and they have the best food in town so....yeah." At the end, he went back to mumbling. "I...shouldn't be the only person being kind to you.....you're really..," 'Weird...,' "Sweet..," Sora had no idea what were the right words to describe this guy. He was just...something else entirely. A pure extrovert. While himself, on the other hand, a pure introvert who turtles into himself when startled. Just like an innocent little animal.

The last persons who were kind to him were his parents and the members of his tribe. Well, his mother cared more about him than his father. 'Father always hit me when I was crying like. Be a man he said. My mother took good care of me and sometimes she said that I'm special with yet a happy but sad expression. I wonder what she meant.' Enju huffed. 'Guess I'll never know because I can never ask her.'

"Oh, forget it, Sora-kun. Just was babbling. ...Well, I can't be bothered by those others. You don't care if you get used to it." he said quiet with still a sad expression on his face.

'You mustn't show weakness, you know? That's priority when you face humans. They are filthy and cruel. Since ages they develop specialised hunters to get rid of our race.' he recalled his father's words 'Even when they're kind it's not their true attitude. So never trust them, do you hear my son? Never!' The male always followed those words, but now it was somehow different. 'I want to believe in the guys kindness. I want it to be true.' His mind was in a twist.

"H-Hotdogs?!?" he said coming back into reality. "Yeah, that sounds good. And if it has the best food we should give it a try, right? I hope the mustard they use isn't too hot. I hate spicy food." And extreme salty, bitter or sour things, but spicy was the worst. Even the smell burned in his nose.

'Sora-kun?' He was usually called 'him' or 'that murderous looking guy over there'. Or occasionally 'that stuck up bastard.' The redhead was never called by his name by anyone, not even his employees. And when they did know his name, they don't use it. Like it was too for him. "Well...umm...it's this way," he stuttered. Pointing in the complete opposite direction. 'Should I just walk and have him follow or..?' He's not risking anything else, so, he started to walk. "Follow me," he mumbled as he did so. As the male walked, the chain with his parents' weddings ring swayed side to side. Sometimes hitting each other and mimicking the sound of a chime. Though, the calming sound was mute under the loud cheerful voices engulfing the small town inside and out.

Sora was turtled into himself again as he walked because of something he always hated. Because it made him so painfully aware of how much of an oddity, a great gossip material he was in this place he still somehow calls home; the people that overcrowded the sidewalks were walking around. And not to be polite. They way they did was a wide circle around him, not caring is it meant walking into some other people or into the streets. Like he was infected. And most of the people they do glance at him and snickered to each other as they shared the stories they've heard about him. Or, just plain looked scared shitless or disgusted. 'It's okay...it'll be over soon. Just don't look at them like always....,'

"Great." the male said and followed the redhead and walked next to him. With a short look at him he noticed the two rings at the necklace, wanted to say something but stopped. 'There has to be a good reason why he carried them si close at his body. So maybe I would revive some bad memories if I would ask about them.'

They moved over the crowded streets side by side and Enju felt uncomfortable with all those people around him. He pulled the hood deeper in his face so the others couldn't even see his eyes. "I hate crowds..." he quietly said so that only the male next to him was supposed to hear it. Sceptical and anxious he watched the passing by people. 'There are so many... why? It's horrible.' He moved closer to Sora unnoticed and touched his arm by accident. "Sorry, didn't pay attention." he shortly apologise and continued focus on the walking enemies. 'When are we finally arriving? When...?' The male got nervous and played with the straps of the hoodie. 'But no one is running into us. That's rare.' When he looked up he noticed the others avoiding them and leave a circle around them. 'Eh? Why is that...? I'm not the reason this time so. .. It must be him? I wonder what they make avoiding him.' At the same time he felt somehow closer to him. It seemed that both of them were outsiders. Then Enju looked up into Sora face. 'Well, he usually has got a scary scowl, but it doesn't mean he's creepy, right?'

"What's your job, by the way? I guess you work here somewhere in town, right? Or do you study or other stuff like this?" the wolfish male asked the other to distract him from the crowd and to pick up a talk.

Sora could only nod his head in silent agreement, his.voice stuck in his throat as some of the people who passed stared in slight awe. Trying to figure out who wss so willing to hang out with him like this in a public area. Some even going as far as making jokes, like the guy wouldn't last a day with him. 'Why do I still even call this home?' He could never bring himself to leave, and the people of this town seem to be worse to him if he has anyone to socialize with. The redhead huffed, shoulders moved up and head down. Hair covering his face completely from everyone else. 'We're almost there, it'll be over real soon. I hope.' The male jumped when Enju brushed up against his arm, body tensed up even more. As if that was even possible at this point. However, he did some kind of comfort. But he can't just hold the guy's hand! They just met! Having any skin to skin contact with another human being always made him cower away unless it was his parents. But, maybe it was time or a change? 'I'm completely out of my mind!' With slight hesitation, Sora grasped the sleeve of the hoodie Enju was wearing. Maybe he won't notice? 'Bullshit, he will!' "I own a library..," he muttered out as they turned the corner and low and behold, it was the hotdog place he cared so dearly about. It was an old building with a big sign at the top in the shape of a dog. The building itself was like a retro 50's dinner. "We're here..,"

'Humans are terrible.' the black haired thought when he had a look around and saw some people whispering and pointing at the two. At that point he forced himself not to growl like a wolf. It was hard to get hold of hisself, because his anger raised enormous while watching those pathetic beings. To avoid an inadvertent growl he lowered his head so he could only see the streets and his and Soras feet. The male wondered when he felt something grabbing the sleeve. From the corner of his eyes he saw it was the other. 'Eh? How cute...' He smiled briefly and had the want to hold his hand. 'Why holding a strangers hand? A human's?' But at the same point he didn't think of Sora as a stranger and to feel the redheads hand there calmed him down. 'Strange. He is the first person whose near is comfortable and calming.'

"Oh, a library? Is it the one where I met you? Nice, so you can work at a calm place in a less crowded area of the stupid town."

The black haired sighed heavy when they finally arrived at the hotdog place. "Man, what a trip. I thought it would take forever..." the male said and lifted the hood so his face and some hair tips were seen and laughed lightly when he lifted tha arm on whose sleeve the other hold on. "And that's really adorable. ...Eh, I mean..." Shocked about hisself speaking his thoughts loud he went silent and covered his mouth with one hand. 'How embarassing! How embarassing! What am I saying? Sometimes it's better to shut your mouth...' Blushing he pulled the hood deep in his face again, moved towards the entrance and mumbled: "L-let's go in. I'm starving..."

Sora was able to breathe better when they got to the dinner, body no longer tense as he sighed. This was a lot worse than when he was walking by himself. 'I guess it's so unreal for someone to be near me willingly.' It was cruel for them to think something like that about him, but he couldn't help but think they had a point. "Yeah...," he agreed softly. 'Stupid town?' The redhead was torn between telling Enju he was wrong or telling him he was right. "It use to be my mom's...," he mumbled. Before he could walk into the place, the other lifted their interlocked hands. His eyes widened, face turning red. 'A-...adorable?!' He wasn't being cute! Just....he just needed comfort! 'Comfort?!' He looked away from the other male, letting go of Enju's sleeve and putting his hands in his pocket. Reluctantly, he followed his companion, going to a booth in the corner at the left of the dinner. Sitting down and curling in on himself.

What is wrong with me? I did i even think it was okay to hold his hand?! Well, technically our hands weren't touching but still!' Sora sighed silently as he looked out the window. Arms folded on the counter as he rested his chin on it. 'I need to calm down! This is a complete stranger and-!' And, what? He just met Enju but, he feels a little more comfortable with the guy. However, he can't mean anything. Maybe it's because he craves a friendship that's not with his cat. "What.....what do you want to eat...,"

The male sat next to the other and watched him from the corner of his eyes. "So this is your mother's hometown? That's ahy you're here?" he asked calm and looked away to the ground. "My apologies, Sora-kun. I didn't want to talk ill about the city." The town had to be prescious for the other because of that fact. 'I guess I would act like him and cling on the hometown of my parents... if it weren't destroyed.'

Then he leaned against the back rest and replied to the others question what he wanted to eat: "I don't know... something meaty.. a cutlet or a steak or whatever. Do they have it here? Oh and a still mineral water." Still because he didn't like the strange tickling on his tongue. The wolfish male yawned lightly and slipped deeper on his seat. "Man, I'm still so tired. That's troublesome... I need to recover faster." he thought loud and didn't notice.

Then he stretched to woke up hisself and continued. "Oh, yes, I wonder if you live on your own or do you live with a person together? Maybe a friend or a partner?" The black haired had interests to know more details about that awesome guy next to him. 'I want you to know that I care.' From the walk through the city he noticed that the other male had to have less people around him. 'Maybe that's why I think he's special. He has similar social experience. Loneliness is cruel. Loneliness is... when nobody cares...'

"It's okay....it's my hometown too and," the redhead sighed, sitting up completely as he now trained his eyes onto the table. "You weren't completely wrong..," This town was, special, in a mental way. Forsaking anything that was in different in the slightest from their everyday life. Example; himself. He wasn't sure if he was even in a town or a secret cult hidden in the forest far away from big cities and such. 'And yet I'm still here.' He could never leave, and as he continued having Enju in his company, he starts to bate himself more and more for not being able to leave. "I only live with Taiga..," he muttered. "He's my...cat...," It seems pathetic now that he he said it out loud. His only friend being a fat cat the only resembles a tiger just a little and constantly begs to be loved. As well as get into fights with the other animals of the neighborhood. And Sora wasn't joking, he caught his cat going at it with what thinks was a badger, dog thing while some other animals cheered them on. Not something you want to see when you try to let your pet back in after letting him out to do his business.

"I'll umm....go get our food..," The male stood up and headed towards the counter. 'It's not like a waiter is going to come over. And...why is Enju so interested in me?' He could just be imagining it but...it doesn't seem so. When he placed their order, the girl behind the counter tried her best.not to make eye contact. Nodding her head to pass the order to the cooks in the back as Sora waited patiently.

"Your hometown as well?" The black haired was surprised. He couldn't believe that being home could be so horrible. "But..." How could those stupid people treat him like that? Shouldn't be your home a place where you feel save and comfortable? Well, that's what the male reminded of when he thought of his home - also his memories were vague. 'I feel sorry for him.' He tipped with his finger on the tables edge while deepend in his thoughts. 'When everyone is terrible why didn't he leave the tonw until now? I can't understand... maybe the fact that it's his hometown make him stay.'

Soras quiet words pulled him back to reality. "Oh, so you're living with a cat? So you're a very caring person, right? And I gess independent as well." the wolfish male assumed "That's cu- ehm nice, I think." Even when he thought about Sora this way he shivered lightly. 'A cat... a creepy cat... I hope I won't meet that beast... can't stand cats at all...'

"Ah, you needn't go..." but the redhead already stood up and went to the counter. 'He's really kind... how could someone dislike or even dispice him? The stupid behavior of humans are a huge riddle...' Enju raised his head and looked at the ceiling. 'Hm, it can't hurt to stay here a litle longer then planned. Let's see what fate holds behind its back.' Then he couldn't help but to yawn. 'Man, it's only afternoone and yet so tired...'

Sora was trying to be as invisible as humanly possible as he wated for the food he ordered them. It seems that everyone and their grandma noticed him walking in with someone who was willingly socializing with him. Even going as far as sitting with him. And that, to the towns people, was like seeing a man walk in with two of everything and scales. They all just stared at him; in either disgust or fear. Either one bothered him to the core. 'Please just hurry wuth our food!' He doesn't know if he can take it anymore when the food finally arrived, causing the redhead to hastily pay before grabbing the tray. Telling the woman in a soft whisper to keep the change. He got himself a chilly cheese dog of course, this place always had the best, and for Enju, a chilly cheese steak sub. 'I hope he likes it..,' Wait, why does he care! Yes the guy was nice but...but...well he shouldn't care! The redhead carried the food back to their tabe. Setting the tray down in the middle before sitting. "You said you didn't like anything spicy and....everything is mostly spicy so....i hope you don't mind what i got ....you...," God, just hearing the hope in his own voice made him cringe inside. 'I'm so terrible at this.' Whatever this was. With a small moment a silence, he began to eat. But at a slow, calculating pace. Because almost the whole dinner was still. Staring. At. Him.

The red eyes of the black haired shined when the other came back with the tray with food, placing it in the middle of the table and sitting next o him again. 'Food! Food! Food!' he thought with a delight grin. "Njah, don't worry about it. I'll survive it." the male replied chuckling after the redhead told him that everything there was spicey. Hungrily he took the sub in his hands and hesitated. "Oh yes, how much did it cost? I have to pay you back." And then he took a hearty bite from his food and after chewing a few times he almost had to cough, but could hold back until he swallowed it. 'Oh dear... it's still too hot for me. But you can't refuse to eat it...' When he calmed down from the cough he took a hearty draught and continued with the eating. Finally he finished it and put his arms on the table and rested his head on them, his face color lightly red. "Uh, I'm done for..." the male said huffing. That was the reason why he didn't like any spicey food - it always was a tough fight. Exhausted he looked to Sora and wondered how someone could like this horrible sting on the tongue and all over the inside of the mouth. After he watched the other a while his eyes wandered along the whole location. 'Again those gazes. Everywhere we go... what's wrong with this guys?' Enju felt uneasy being watched all the time. "Hey, Sora-kun, should we head to somewhere else? Well, I don't mind spending my time with you and would stay here longer, but those people are really annoying. Maybe heading to somewhere where less people are?" The wolfish male wasn't stupid and noticed Soras uneasiness as well. "And maybe we can talk freelier."

"Oh...umm, you don't have to pay me back," the redhead muttered. Pausing for a second before continuing to eat. To be truthful, he wasn't sure if the man had money. Considering the guy said he was new in town and the money currency here was slightly different. 'But, it's not like i can tell him that without being rude...,' Sora paused again when Enju started to cough. Bodu going rigid as he watched in surprise. Shit! Was it still too spicy for him? Maybe he should've taken them to a different restaurant or something. 'Don't tell me he's allergic!' But after a while, it seems that his companion was better now and he hesitantly continued to eat. Every once in a while looking up at the male to make sure the guy was still fine. Like if he blinked everything will ho to hell in a handbag. However, trying to finish his hotdog was an unless attempt. Everyone just kept staring, making him fidget and try to curl into a ball an disappear. 'I'm never coming back again...ever...,'His appetite left him immediately as he set his almost finished food back down into its wrapper. Putting his hands into his lap. Sora just sat there; he hated this. Hated how Enju made him even more painfully aware of how much of an outcast. But-. 'Maybe....we're the same..,' The redhead looked up at the other. Somewhere quiet? He could take them back to his house, but...what if he took it a different way? He tried to fight down a blush. So that's out of the question. Though, what about-. "Well hey there."

He snapped his head up to see a small group of guys standing next to their table. Looking at them like they were prey. A uncomfortable shiver went down his spine. 'Shit....not now...,'

The black haired watched the others and their strange gazes. They didn't only make him feeling uneasy, but angry as well. He tried to hold back a growl again and looked away. 'I hate being in the central of everything... I know it's not because of me, but...' He made those experiences before when he tried to enter a city without any cover for the ears or when they were uncovered. When the male thought of it those voices recalled in his ears. Being called a monster, disgusting, wretched or any other things. And being surrounded by many people who were staring full of fear or disgust. Unwell he moved on his chair let out a quiet growl by accident and was happy that he had Soras hoodie so he could cover his face again. Hiding away from the others gazes.

When the other mentioned that he hadn't to pay back he briefly smiled, thanked him and layed his head back on his arms. He also waited for an answer of the redhead after he asked about another and quiet place, because he really wanted to ask him about the weird behavior of the townsmen, but before the other could say anything they were interrupted.

'Eh?' Wondering Enju looked up and saw a small group of guys. 'What the heck are they wanting from us?' Those didn't seem to be very welcome - more like they were searching for some trouble. The males surprised face turned into a scowl.

  • 2 weeks later...

Now Sora really wished he just stayed home today. Stay home and continue to try and decide if he should see a therapist. Because he was sure that what happened last night and everything else in his unexciting life will come around and bite him in the ass later. And it already started today. The redhead didn't say a thing; instead, he looked back down. Trying to disappear or appear ad invisible as humanly possible. Even though it'll be a lost cause with this group of guys. Ever since the 'accident', these guys have gotten worse. They took a break recently but now that they see them with Enju, it seems that they are now out if retirement. Sora tried to pretend that he didn't notice that now was the time that everyone in the dinner completely ignored their existence. "What's wrong Sora? Still pretending to be deaf?" The group laughed at their leader's attempt at a joke. The redhead hunched over even more. Gaze still affixed on the table. 'Please, just go away..,' Now was not the time for their crap.

"Maybe it's because we ruined his date," one of them piped up and everyone looked at his companion. The leader chuckled loudly. "Please, a date? I'm pretty sure he paid this guy or this man got catfished." Sora flinched at that. 'Is it really that unrealistic for me to date?' And why was he thinking about it anyway? The chances of that happening is zero out of seven billion. He clenched his hands on top of his knees, balling them into fists.

With a deep scowl Enju watched the small group. Those humans were the worst. And what we're they wanting from Sora? Also the male didn't understand the other male. Why didn't he fight back? Say something? It wasn't the time for ignoring. Acting that defensive only encouraged pack like this. Anger grew deep in his heart and he really would like to jump at the small group and beat them up, but there was no way he could use violence here in such a place. When the would be on the street there was no way he would hesitate.

"You're annoying." the male said in a voice that was almost a deep growl and he glared at the leader of the small group. "So get lost and go playing strong in some trash strewn gap were human kind like you belong." The wolfing male couldn't stand when someone spoke ill about his beloved. When he saw they didn't leave at all he stood up. "Didn't you hear me? Are you deaf or only too stupid to follow my words?" His eyes flickered like there was a raging fire burning inside. Slowly he moved closer to the leader and grabbed his collar so he barely could catch some air. "Then I'll speak your language: Move your shity ass out of here and take your pathetic companions with you!" He took a short break to hold back to not harm him and a wolfish growl. "Tse... you smell disgusting." With these words he threw the other on the ground and continued sighing: "Okay were done here, Sora-kun. Let's go." Then he turned around to his new friend - so he thought about him - and offered him a hand smiling.

Sora knew he could easily fight back against the guy, despite being out numbered. But, he couldn't. His parents always saw him as something innocent while the rest of the town saw differently, and, he wanted to keep up the image and stay good for them. His body started to tremble slightly from the contained emotions. Though, he wasn't sure if it was rage or all the other emotions he never truly expressed. He snapped out of his thoughts as his companion snapped at his normal tormentors. 'Why is he...?' Of course, this is the moment that everyone in the dinner now acknowledge their existence again. Why was Enju standing up for him? Apparently the group of guys had a similar thought as they looked at the man in disbelief. The redhead's eyes widened when the other male grabbed the leader like that, his followers stepping back with no clue what to do. The leader of his tormentors looked scared and a little offended, hitting the floor with a thud and curse as he was thrown. Sora wasn't sure if he should feel relaxed because Enju stood up for him or worried that this'll worsen everything.

He once again jumped when a hand was offered to him. Eyes analyzing the now smiling male. 'This....is this guy bipolar?' What if his new companion was crazy? Or a sociopath for that matter? However, he shouldn't judge. Even if he feels like he would end up missing if he goes with him. Hesitantly, he took the other's hand. Slowly standing while being careful of not letting Enju's hand go. Eyes trained solely on the ground as the leader spat curses at them. "You fucking jerk!! You'll pay for this! You damn fags!!"

His gaze was soft when he looked at the readhead who was taking his hand and stood up. The male wanted to leave with him, hesitated when the leader of the group yelled. In a blink of an eye the blackhaired gaze turned to a deep frown and looked at him from the corner of an eye. "Save your breath to run away, miserable swine." he growled mad. "Next time I won't be that gentle to you so better keep away from Sora-kun and me." Without paying further attention to that stupid human being he pulled Sora out of the dinner.

He walked with him along some streets, still angered about the situiation back there and also his pace was accordingly fast. After a short while he stopped suddenly and turned to the other male. His gaze softened again while he looked at the redhead. "Sora-kun... sorry, it wasn't my intention to drag you behind me the whole time." he said in a calm voice. "I-I was only a bit enraged and need to go somewhere, but..." The male chuckled embarassed. "I have no idea where we are now." He still hold the hand of the other like it was some kind of treasure. Holding his hand was one of the reasons why he calmed down more quickly. "Oh and one thing" the wolfish male with the hood continued frowning "Why didn't you at least say anything? When I was in your place I would beat them up." Then he shaked his head. Maybe Sora was one of the peaceful sort and hated violance and other sort of conflicts. So Enju assumed it was a wise decision not to hurt that stupid gang.

The redhead wasn't sure if he should just hide away somehow or run away at the looks that were given to them. Especially the one the leader of the gang gave them. But what bothered him more, was how angry Enju is. And the fact that he, once again, called him 'Sora-kun'. They only met today and yet the other seemed so comfortable with calling him this. As they walked, well in his case pulled, down the streets, making odd turns here and there, they suddenly stopped. Causing him to nearly fall over. Giving his companion an odd look. "O-oh umm..," It's not like it bothered him or anything. "It's...okay..?"

'And yet why didn't it bother me?' Maybe it was because the other male's hands were so soft and small compared to his, or maybe it's because he's never held someone's hand before. Both being logical possibilities in this case. "We're umm....not that far from...my place...," How in the world did they get that close to his house? The man just got to this town. Although, it could just be a coincidence. "It's....it's not your fault...," Sora felt that he should clear that up for some reason. To make sure that Enju wasn't mad at himself. Then, at his friend's(?) next words his body went rigged. 'Why...why does he want to know that?!' It's embarrassing to tell another grown man that it was what his parents believed why others didn't, believing that he was a good boy."I...b-because...," he wasn't sure how to respond to that. Maybe if he faked ignorance, they'll change topic.

The blackhaired looked confused around. He only went here and there without noticing the environment around himself. 'When you keep doing things like this you'll eventually die.' he told himself and bit on his bottom lip. But he still had Sora around him and his hand in his own.

"Oh?" the male was surprised. "We're near your home? Great! What a coincidence. We can go there, ne? Well, as long as it is okay for you and when those stupid guys didn't follow of course." Then he laughedn lightly. "Maybe they couldn't keep up because I walked through the town like an idiot. ...Or I scared them too much. Well, that would be absolutely fine with me." The male looked forward to see how the other would live and to see the redheads realm, but then he remembered the others pet... a cat. 'Geez... as long as that kitty doesn't sense my wolfish presence...' Animals usually sensed that he wasn't human. Most of them were scared and flee in fear that they might end up as prey. But he wasn't sure if a bitchy cat would be scared at all.

The male wanted to continue to move on, but stopped when he noticed the other had problems to answer his question why he didn't do anything. "You..." he said with a sad gaze "You don't have to give me an answer. After all I'm only a stranger you just met today, ne?" He sighed and spoke further: "And... everyone has his own big and maybe dark secret which noone should know, ne? So nevermind."

'Everyone has his secrets, ne , Sora-kun? What would happen when you would know that there is a murderer right in front of you who almost killed you?' Suddenly he had the redheads face in his mind when Enju menaced him. Soras eyes were full of fear and cold sweat was running down his cheeks. A sure terrible memory now. When he had killed him last night then he wouldn't be able to hold his hand and spend time with him now. He almost killed the person he would call him now as a friend. Shivers ran down his spine and his hands were shaking lightly. What a truly horrible thought! Then he shaked his head to snap out of those thoughts as soon as possible and tried a smile. "So then. I'm curious about your home, Sora-kun."

'He wants to see my house?' Sora was a little more than confused, why would Enju want to see where he lives? It was mostly on the outskirts of the town, closer towards the forest. Which saved and almost killed him last night. But, considering he still can't leave this town, there's no way he's going to be able to make himself move from this damn house. "M...my..?" His voice cracked a little and was small. The redhead turtled more into his clothes, subconsciously caressing the back of the other's hand with his thumb. "You....you can come see it...if you want. It's not....it's not much to at." Even if it was two stories it was still small to some extent with real personality in or outside of the structure. The only.place having and feel that someone was actually living in it was his room and....the other master bedroom. Which he never goes into. "It wasn't idiotic when you run in a random direction...," Sora tried to reassure the man. Volume going up a little before coming back down again. "It was just....instinct..,"

It actually felt good when Enju pulled him away from that situation. Though, it could be useless since everyone knows where everyone lives. 'Even if you are a stanger, i feel closer to you than everyone i grew up with in this town.' And there he goes calling him 'Sora-kun' again. It strangely felt odd and yet, comforting at the same time. It was a perplexing thing to him. "Oh...okay..," After hesitating for a moment, he started to lead his companion towards his home. Walking a little bit in front of him while still holding his hand. He wasn't sure what he was trying to shield the man from, even if he can hold his own. It just felt needed, right.

"Instinct, huh?" the blackhaired repeated with a hazy gaze. It was more pure emotions and less instinct. Then he felt the thumb caressing the back of his hand. Whatwas that feeling? This small but lovingly gesture made his heart feeling warm and all bad things flew away. He couldn't help but to smile and was encouraged. "I do want to see your home, Sora-kun."

Then the other started to move and the blackhaired followed while still holding their hands. Somehow relieved he hummed lightly while walking a bit behind the other. His sight went to the others hand which was holding his own. His own looked so small compared to the others.

All the way through the rest of the town until they get to their goal Enju tried to ignore the weird gazes of the other people who passed by and focused more on the ground - or on Sora. 'Don't look... don't look you damn humans...' He intensified the grap on Soras hand to find more hold and to calm him down. Lightly growling he pulled the hood deep in his face again. 'Those humans... always kill my mood...' Even with the hood covering his face he felt the gazes of the others. 'Damn...' Instinctive he shortly walked faster so he was able to walk besides the other male, moving slightly closer so their shoulders barely touched each other. This closeness felt safer and comfortabled him.

Finally the moved to the outskirts of the town and fortunately there were less people bustling about. Enju sighed relieved when they finally reached a small but charming house. It wasn't far away from the forest where they met the first time. "So this is it?" The wolfish male couldn't help but to think that this house suited to the redhead. 'Inconspicuous but charming, huh?' Soon he forgot about the damned humans around them, even when there were only a few, and smiled. "This house looks nice. It makes me even more curious." The way how someone lived told a lot about the person and their behavior. So he was curious if his impresson of Sora was right. And maybe it was a chance to stay there oer night. Even when his wounds were treated well he was still weakened, but on the other hand... 'I don't want to be a burden or even cause him trouble in any way.' This was the first time he cared about someone who was human.

The redhead nodded when the other repeated what he said. Everyone has their own set of instincts to survive, right? His just seem to just tell him to stay still and pray that the predators will just go away. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesnt. However, the fact that it sometimes does doesn't stop him from using such a tactic. He shuffled his feet a little as he stayed quiet for the rest of the walk. The looks were still bothering him, but, it didn't get to him. Though, he wasn't sure who was growling at them. He felt better, knowing Enju was right behind him.

But that didn't last long when the other decided to walk next to him instead. 'When did he put the hood on?' Maybe he was the only one who felt a little better about the stares? Sora tried to be brave, however when he felt the other's body heat get closer to him, he tensed up. Face turning a light shade of pink. 'I'm....I'm overreacting!'But the redhead didn't voice how he was feeling. Hell, he was even trying to ignore the warmth that filled his chest. When they got to his house, he looked up at it, becoming very anxious. 'What would Enju think about it? Does he think it's weird? Lonely? Creepy that it's near the woods?' Sora started to panic more and more internally. He jumped when the man spoke. "E..eh? Oh...um...thanks...," Nice....he thought it was nice. It's a start, right? He wasn't sure what to say next, so the redhead just walked up to the front porch, gently tugging the other male with him. As he took out his keys to unlock the door, he said softly; "Sorry if it looks too....not lived in."

Sora opened the door, letting go of Enju's hand with reluctance as we walked inside to find his cat. Who wasn't far really. Taiga seemed to be taking a nap on the arm of tge couch. "Taiga, we have company." He called out with a small smile, the cat stirring and giving him a low meow. As if telling him 'five more minutes'. Shaking his head, the male walked over towards his pet and poked it lightly. "I'll feed you." The orang cat instantly woke up, nearly toppling over in the process. 'Of course that'll wake him up.' Sora turned towards Enju slowly, smile fading as he refuse to look at him in the eyes. "So....this is my home. Well," he gave Taiga a short pet on the head. "Our home...,"

'God I look lonely; a guy in his twenties living with a fat, bratty cat.'

Watching the other male moving towards the main door Enju continued: "It's nicely quiet out here. I think this is one of the best places for a house." Yes, the typical scents of the forest were laying in the air and turned the small but lovely house into something special. The wolfish male followed into the house and looked around. Well, the redhead was right and many things around them didn't look like they were used. When the cat was seen Enjus eyes were focused on that fatty orange cat. 'So this is that beast, huh? Try to be friendly at least. After all this cat is Sora-kuns friend.'

The blackhaired hesitated but then he came carefully closer. "Oh, then this is your friend, hm? Well, nice to meet you, Taiga-kun." he said with a brief and forced smile. Further he walked to a chair and sat down with a sigh. Slowely he took off the hood and checked out the green scarf around his head which covered his ears. Fortunately everything was on its place and the male was relieved. Then he had a closer look and his eyes wandered around the room where they were. "I like it here. Much better than any of those weird modern buildings." This house had an aura where Enju felt comfortable and everywhere was the scent of Sora which increased the fact that he felt relaxed. It was like a safe place. "Well, Sora-kun, there is still that question in my mind. Why are the townspeople treat you like an outsider or anything bad? It's your hometown right? Where they always be like that?" Then he took a break and continued in a lower voice: "I know there is a reason you don't like to share, but... maybe I'm a person who would understand you. I guess we aren't that different in this point..." The blackhaired sat the wrong way around on the chair so he could lay his arms on the backrest and lean his head on them. While looking at Sora he couldn't help but to yawn lightly.
