Akira&Shiki
Yuu couldn't get to sleep that night. He got up out of bed and trudged to his window, looking out to feel the wind blow against his face. Even though not much happened in the brothel, Yuu tried to make the best of it all. He had no more annoying customers, no more disturbances. Nothing. As he looked at the dark sky, he thought about what Hajime told him. Never to fall in love with a customer? He didn't think he'd do something like that, but it was more exciting than this boring lifestyle. After being bored of just standing there, Yuu decided to sneak around. He just didn't want to get caught by anyone. That would totally mess everything up. Yuu tumbled down the hallways, wanting to alleviate the boredom. Trying his best to keep quiet, he crept to the back of the building where no one went at night, unless they were doing something shady. Yuu didn't quite like the restraint he felt as a courtesan, so he was always trying to find a way to relieve whatever negative emotions he was feeling. After going through each room, trying his best to quietly and calmly close the doors, so that no one heard him. Why was he doing this exactly? Because he needed something to relieve his boredom. He got to the biggest room in the south wing of the brothel where the downstairs waiting room where lower class customers had to wait to meet the courtesans. He slowly opened the door to only gasp in surprise. Though the room was dark, a sliver of light poured into the room, revealing a man. Yuu's eyes grew wide, first in panic, but then in excitement. He didn't understand it, but he didn't care; the excitement that coursed through him made him smile in glee. The fact that this stranger popped up guaranteed that the boredom in Yuu's life would disappear. Yuu stumbled led into the room and stared at the shadowed man. "Who are you?" he asked, trying his best to sound bold.
Funny Otaku
Sei looked at the other, he had never known people didn't know about Onmyoujis. How would they fend off demons or keep sports at bay. He wondered. He looked to the wolf at his side. He knew most either didn't see Purotekutā, or just saw the spirt guardian as a dog, not like he saw Purotekutā. "How should I explain it...Onmyoujis are sort like priest...I think.." He started then Purotekutā interuptered him "You are the path to help spirits who are in your realm. I am your protector..You are the practicer of your religion." Purotekutā said rigidly to the other. "So..as an onmyouji i sorta am a gate between the spirt realm, our realm, we as a whole practice a..I guess in your country and most of Japan might call it a religion now, it's called Onmyodo. We practice a mixture of natural science and occultism, such as exorsim, spells, wards, achemelmy. Some of the most famous Onmyoji even get to go to the capital and ward off evil spirits. Most of our rituals are based of the basic principle of Ying and Yang. We must have bad to make good and vise versa. But personally I grew up going house to house setting up protection spells, praying and fighting evil spirits." He smiled at the other man. Onmyoji in the small villages were quite common, even some in the capital..He wondered what the forgeniner thought of it. "That's why I came here, they seem to be having an evil spirit problem..Well thats what my master said." Sei looked again a Purotekutā, and gave the spirit a smile. "Ya..me and my partner..The Spirit that protects me with find it and get rid of the evil spirit." Sei sighed.. "May I ask what it is like in your country? How do they ward off evil if they have no Onmyouji?" He asked curiosity in his voice.
~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
Looking around, he was just about to leave the room he'd been in, when the door slides open, a sliver of light filtering through from the hallway, and landing on his figure. He looks to the person standing there, a blank expression on his face, hiding the sudden, fleeting nervousness he'd felt when he'd heard the sound of another presence, but eventually calms down, lowering his hand from where it had been at his side, where, beneath the kimono he now wore over his white outfit (similarly made to his green one) hid a katana from view. It was not the police man, but a fancily dressed male. Probably a resident of the house or building or whatever it was that Fuuyo had just broken into. For a moment nothing was said, until the person who'd walked in spoke up, asking who Fuuyo was, and despite the fact that the male was trying to sound as if he did not fear Fuuyo's presence, the 'Korean' could see right through it, like a clear window revealing to the outside. Answering the question wouldn't be difficult, or really cause problems, but it was the fact if he REALLY wanted to or not. However, the situation he was in called for him to take steps differently than he was used to, as he had indeed broken into this place, and that was criminal act, something the police could be called for. And Fuuyo really did not want to deal with THAT again. Bowing ever so slightly, not once taking his eyes off the man, he shows respect to the stranger. "I am called many things. Fuuyo Keine, Fēng Líng, Kaze Akuma, Fuu, Fang, Ling, Kaa, Kuma, Spirit Master, Demon Slayer...and on. But you may call me what you wish." He stands straight now, folding his hands within the sleeves of the kimono he was wearing, his eyes still looking intently at the other man. "I am sorry for intruding upon this place. I was...in a hurry to get away from something. If I may ask, where is here exactly?"
Bloodbunny
Ren'chi quickly grabbed a red bean pastry on the way out of his little house and began to make his way towards the Yoshiwara, the sun was still barely above the horizon but it was bright enough outside that he could see he knew that it was time to go. Once Ren'chi arrived at the Yoshiwara e slowly began to take in what was happening around him the fact that people would be doing that sort of thing this early in the morning slightly concerned him but he continued his way through the Yoshiwara until he found a young lady that gestured him to come closer towards her, Ren'chi walked up to the woman and they began to talk and talk and talk eventually the lady had gotten bored with the topic that she had brought up which gave Ren'chi enough time to question about the beads, once Ren'chi bought the beads the lady was no longer by his side when he looked up from the package it was as if she had disappeared into thin air. Suddenly Ren'chi felt as if he were being watched and turned around slightly before continuing forward he could have sweared that he saw a shadowed figure it seemed to similar to him that it was rather frightening. Tacita_Virtus
Walking next to Seishin, Damon listens to what the other said about what he did, the slightest expression of interest appearing on his face, though it mostly showed up in his eyes. To Damon, this Onmyouji business sounded much like a Priest, or something close to it, or some kind of spiritual counselor of sorts. To have it called a religion, and actually have places that held things for this occupation was a feat of it's own, something to be proud of. At the mention of a spiritual partner and protector, Damon glances over at the other, noticing when it was mentioned, Seishin looked down at the dog, or whatever it was that was walking by Seishin's side. He looks away, running a few things over in his mind, but says nothing, though raises an eyebrow when he was asked a question. For a moment he thought of the right way to best word what he wanted to say, and not sound awkward while doings so. "We have priests, exorcists, the Pope, and the church. Many things really...The Vatican, also known as The Holy See, an Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction in Rome, where the Pope is." He pauses in his words, reaching up slightly to rub the back of his neck, not sure that he was even saying the right words, but it would have to work. He hoped that even some of what he was trying to say was the right thing, but to him, it really didn't matter. To Damon, those kind of things, the church, the priests, even the Pope...they didn't matter. He wanted nothing to do with them, having his own problems because of them. Looking to Seishin again, his eyes drift to the dog or wolf or whatever the white animal was, and sighs, deciding to go out on a limb and do something he didn't normally do, trying to make things less awkward than they probably already were. Taking a slightly deep breath, he lets it out slowly, before speaking up, unsure of what to say and how to say it, and as he spoke, Damon constantly adjusted the hat upon his head, a nervous habit of his, though his face hid any kind of nervousness he might have been feeling at that moment. "So, um, when you said protector...Were you talking about the wolf-dog thing that is walking next to you?"
hal7283
The sun was barely above the horizon and a tall figure walked on the streets. The man was quite taller than the early workers around him, his foreign facial features plus and the long black robe he wore made him stood out from the crowd. He walked towards the gate of Yoshiwara and greeted the gate guard with a friendly smile, who seemed slightly fed up by his presence, but let the tall man in regardless. At this time some of the customers who stayed at Yoshiwara for the night had woke up and was leaving the place for work. Seeing these people the tall foreign man came up to them, and handed what looked like brochures to them while saying things like: "Are you interested in our lord and savior?" and " Do you want to be a part of something bigger?" His Japanese was surprisingly fluent, but it didn't change the fact that most of the men simply sped up their walking and rushed away from him, and the few who took the brochures just stuck them into their pocket and forgot about it the next moment. Despite all these the tall man kept a kind smile on his face. Then the tall man saw a young man (Ren'chi) in a distance, who seems to be startled. The man smiled and he walked close to him: "Hello young man, my name is Francis. Those who are in the faith call me'father Francis'. May I be of assistance? You seems troubled by someone, or..something?."
Akira&Shiki
Yuu looked at the shadow of a man, his eyes trying to make out the figure. After being given a long list of names, Yuu decided to stick with calling him Fuuyo Keine. He stood in the doorway, not sure as to whether he should go in or not. Fuuyo, or whatever he preferred to be called, didn't seem too dangerous… Well, at least for now. Though the fact that he was in Murasaki-Ya without knowing… that did mean there was something odd going on. Yet Yuu didn't feel like he should feel afraid. And yet, there was something odd about this person that caused an impending fear to loom over Yuu. When the other man asked him where he was and told him that he was getting away from something, Yuu started wondering what could have happened. He looked at the man and finally walked into the room, answering, "You're in Murasaki-Ya… its a brothel. If you're hiding from someone or something…" Yuu knew better not to trust a stranger, and he knew that his next idea was about to be crappy, but he didn't quite care. The thrill of this unexpected occurrence made him ask: "If you're hiding out, need a place to stay? I'll hide you… until you're in the clear, I guess. Let me just warn you, the outside of this place is heavily guarded… but considering that you got in undetected, you might get out undetected." Yuu had wanted the man to stay. He didn't think anything of it, other than the fact that his regularly boring life would have been stirred up. His reasoning was selfish, but at that moment, he didn't care. He looked the other man in the eye and turned around so that his back faced the man. "Follow me if you want to," he said before Starting to walk back to his room. Funny Otaku
Sei looked at the other, he wanted some day to go to this Vatican. It seemed an amazing thing. His eyes widened as the other explained. "That's amazing. One day I want to vist there." He jumped happily. Sei looked at the wolf beside him. They shared the same snow white hair...Sighing as the other asked the question..He new the spirit would be mad at him for what he was gonna do because technically he wasn't suppose to do it but, Sei always did it to show what he said was true. "Yes, his name is Purotekutā. He's the reasons I didn't freeze to death as a child...Purotekutā tell him." The wolf growled, obviously made at Sei's comment. But shaking it's body Purotekutā looked up with his blue big eyes to the other man that was not his master. The animal grew twice it's size and could now carry a person and teeth became sharper, bigger and more threatening. "Sei, I found Sei as a child, and sensed something that connected us, spirit and human. I am and will be at his side until his death. Most do not see real spirits you are lucky Sei told me too, for he is my master and i do as he says." As Purotekutā he turned back to his normal form, his voice had rung through everyones ears, he had a ruff and gruff voice. Sei smiled at the other. "Don't be so threatening Purotekutā. Im sorry, Purotekutā acts tuff and stuff, but really he's just a sweet heart and he's like a big brother." Sei sighed, his shoulders slouching and relaxed. He was getting tired as his eyes became heavily. Yawning he smiled. "DO you have a protector?" He asked quietly trying not to offend the other. ~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
Stepping forward even more, taking it that this man wasn't going to try and do anything, Fuuyo decides that he was safe. For now. But he begins thinking, wondering what this guy was up to. Any normal person would have freaked out from having a total stranger appear in their house at this time. It was barely morning, the sun just touching the horizon, and yet from what he saw, this was totally not getting to the other young male. What made him hesitate was the offer that was made to him, the young male, whom he knew not the name of, was offering him a place to stay. Was that wise of him? For all the guy could know, Fuuyo could be some mass murderer or the very 'shadow' that was roaming the streets these nights. All he did in response was nod, deciding that, until things began to clear out a bit, he'd have to accept the offer. Standing still though, he watched as the guy turned around, and with a few words, began to walk. A moments hesitation, and he steps forward, walking after the other, eyes narrowed, on the alert, his hand resting ready by his hip, where his katana was hidden beneath the kimono he wore. Despite the innocence of this one, Fuuyo wasn't about to let his guard down. "Even though I really do not care, might I ask your name? I need something to call you." Bloodbunny
Ren'chi turned his head toward the direction of the now approaching tall man and kept an eye on him as he closed the distance between them a bit before talking to him. "Bothered?...something just doesn't seem right...you know what I mean don't you?...the air is very dense and it's as if people are watching from all angles..." Ren'chi paused for a moment as if he were waiting for a sign or something to happen. "Oh... by the way my name is Ren'chi...nice to meet you..." Ren'chi glanced around the room yet again and returned his atteion back to the other. "What is a people like you doing here? just curious you don't have to answer if you do not wish to do so." Ren'chi watched the small group of young fellows drinking and having fun together. "It's such a shame that people are doing this sort of thing this early...but good things come to those that work hard ." Ren'chi mumbled softly to himself before slowly beginning to wander of rather unconiously.
Tacita_Virtus
So, he's been right in assuming that the wolf was indeed Sei's protector, and with a blank and expressionless face, watches as the animal grows in size, as if unimpressed and unamused by the show in aggression. From what he'd been told moments before by Sei, this things name was Purotekutā, and had kept the male from dying at a young age. Even when the animal began to speak, Damon did not show any reaction, instead looking up straight into the wolf's eyes, unafraid in the least. Hearing the spirit's words, he nods, then watches as 'Purotekutā' shrank back to it's original size. When Sei apologized for the wolf's behavior, he simply shakes his head, and dismisses it with a wave of his hand. It didn't really matter to him, not in the least. Yes, it had been quite rude, but Damon wasn't one to let such trivial things get to his head, nor let them bother him even a tiny bit. The next question he was asked made him think a bit, before answering carefully, eyebrows narrowed slightly, a tiny frown on his lips as he thought of the right things to say. He was different than most normal people, and even those that weren't considered 'normal'. Damon had his secrets, and answering a question like this was tricky, if he said the wrong thing, then events might not turn out very well. "Do I have a protector? Well...you could say I do. Yes and no. It does not stay with me, like Purotekutā does with you. You see, I...don't constantly need one...per-say." Just as he was answering, he notices the lightening of the sky, making him stop for a mere moment. Was it really that time already? Things would definitely turn badly if he got caught out in the daytime, stuck where he was. He needed to get back to the inn he was staying at, and quickly too. Glancing at Sei, he sighs softly, even though he had just met the young man, he had taken up a lot of the male's time, might as well...though for Damon...this might not turn out well. Clearing his throat slightly, he begins to walk in the direction of the inn, moving a bit quicker than before, obviously in a hurry. Speaking to Sei now, he tries to make it clear what he was doing, and there was no other intention involved with what he was asking. "It is starting to get late, and I am sure you are tired, because I am. If you would like, I am staying at an inn and was given an extra room. You can sleep there for a bit, to rest up?" Talking like this, asking such things, was not the norm for Damon. Usually he stayed alone, by himself, but this new, unfamiliarity was nice, though it was also a bit nerve wrecking, though it didn't show on his demeanor. No, he always looked calm, collected, and very confident. Walking still, his paces growing, he wondered what the answer would be to his offer. Yes or no, he wasn't going to wait around, he needed to get back to the inn.
hal7283
Francis smiled gently as he listened to Ren'chi. " Nice to meet you Ren'chi. And you're right, this place is being shrouded by a deep shadow....Then why I am here you ask? But you don't seems to belong here yourself, do you? Guessing from your appearance you're a merchant? Here to resupply I assume? I suppose it's a good idea for you to come here since there are quite a lot of merchants around Yoshiwara during day time." Francis looked at the group of drunk young men in the distance and continued: "As for the reason why I am here, I'm here to spread the words of salvation of course! And who else need it more than the poor souls who were struggling in the depths of greed and desire? Of course I don't expect them to give up their sinful ways immediately, but if even one man is willing to take in my words then I must have been on the right track. People need guidance, need a purpose in life, especially in these strange...dark times...."
Akira&Shiki
Yuu halted when he heard the other man, Fuuyo Keine, speak up. He was asking for his name? "My name is Yuu," he answered, right before turned his back to the man and continuing his walk to his room. As he walked, he wondered what had happened in his head to have him make this crazy decision. The man behind him could have been a serial killer running from the police! He could have been the same serial killer from the current case that had Yoshiwara in a mess. So many people had died. And could this man have been the cause? Even though Yuu barely knew Fuuyo Keine, he felt that the serial killer was totally different… or something like that. Yuu had to admit, he was slightly afraid of the unknown man behind him. But his need to find excitement in his life overrode his sense of danger. Yes, reckless, he knew. But he didn't quite care. As soon as Yuu got into his room and he made sure that the other man was inside, he hurried and closed the door. Once the door was closed, he looked at Fuuyo. In the light, he looked foreign… or at least mixed with something. But Yuu didn't ask about it. After all, it wasn't any of his business. The sun seeped through his window and he sat back against his wall. "Are you hungry? Thirsty?" Yuu asked, looking at the water and tea cakes that he had covered up and saved that night. Funny Otaku
Sei was happy looking up at the sky, the stars were pretty and amazing. Sei always loved the thought that no matter where you were, you will always see the stars at night. He found comfort in it knowing that his village will see what he see's tonight. He listened to the other. "Thats really cool, that you have a protector that shows up." He yipped happily. "Though Im glad Purotekutā is alway with me, it would get lonely without him." He sighed Continuing to walk with the other. Sei liked this other man..He was fun and seemed like a very interesting person. When he asked about stay, Sei's eyes went wide. "Yes, thank you, thank you thank you." He squeaked and jumped up as he did. He was so happy he gave the other man a hug. Realizing what he did he backed away with his head down. "Sorry, it's just I don't have enough money to stay at an in and I was gonna sleep out side. Thanks...Im just really happy it won't rain on me." ~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
So, this young man's name was Yuu...interesting. Fuuyo kept that in his mind, storing it away for later use and continued to walk after the other, wondering just where it was that he was being taken. Was he really being showed to a place where he could stay and hide, to stay safe, or was he being led straight to his doom, his downfall? His guard goes up even more, he was on edge, nervous. But there was no need to be, so it seemed. As he was let into a room, it turned out to be, indeed, Yuu's room. He glances around, seeing no fault in the support, there was plenty of privacy. It would have to do, for now anyways. Looking to Yuu, who had spoken up, he shakes his head. "No." Even though Yuu had sat, Fuuyo continued to stand, though after a moment, he takes off the outer part of his outfit, the olive green, gold, and deep brownish red kimono, revealing the white tunic and black pants he wore underneath, as well as the sheathed katana at his hip. Sighing softly, he glances at Yuu before beginning to trace the edge of the room, not caring what the other thought. Every now and then he would pause, as if listening for something, his finger tracing against the wall in a odd pattern, before moving on, the pattern glowing for a mere second before fading away. This continued until he'd done this nine times. When he'd finished, he nods, before finally sitting down, though obviously does not let his guard down at all, glancing at Yuu. Bloodbunny
Ren'chi nodded. "Yes I am a merchant although I dress like this daily." Ren'chi looked around once more. "I see that is a very valid reason people who drink like there's no tomorrow usually don't end up in the brightest places...but you can't always blame the people who are severcing these men because sometimes they don't have anywhere left to go to earn their livings."Ren'chi touched the handmade necklace around his neck. "I use to have a friend whom lost their life doing this sort of thing but I like to think that she is in a better place now." A soft sigh escaped his lips . "I wish you luck drunken men aren't always easy to speak with." And with that Ren'chi disappeared further into the Yoshiwara to explore it's halls. Tacita_Virtus
Having someone show gratitude for his offer was one thing, but the sudden hug he'd received from the other male was a bit of a surprise. He'd not been expecting such a display of thanks, and really never haven been one for that kind of thing in the first place, Damon did not even know how to respond to this, so instead just shrugs his shoulders as if it was no big deal, continuing to walk along. Then came the apology, making Damon raise his eyebrow slightly, but makes no mention of how odd this was for him. "It is nothing, don't worry about it. Just make sure it does not happen again." Damon wasn't trying to be rude, or anything of that sort, it was just that he was not comfortable with such confrontation in a friendly and close manner. His keen eyes look straight ahead, and he could now see the inn where he was currently staying at start to come into view. Which was a good thing, as the sky up above just kept getting lighter and lighter, as the sun started to show more of itself upon the horizon. Pointing ahead, towards their destination, he glances at Sei, then ahead again. Though he didn't let it show, Damon was a bit worried as to the well-being of this young man, since apparently from what he'd been told, Sei was used to sleeping outside, due to the lack of money. "It is just up ahead. We should reach there in very little time. Five minutes, probably." And five minutes it was, and it did not take long for Damon to guide the other male and his "Purotekutā" with him, to the place within the inn where he was staying. With barely anything else said, the taller male shows the other where the extra room was, and leaves him be, before heading to his own room, and closing the door behind him, making sure it was secure before sighing deeply. That had been close, way too close. Taking off his jacket, he folds it up neatly and sets it on a small desk in the room, as well as his gloves, hat, belt, and the holster in which his gun was placed. His shoes were at the door, and with that finished and out of the way, he goes to the bed, and lays down, pulling the blanket up over him, and almost immediately falls asleep, in his own fashion anyways. The last thought that drifted through his mind was how everything was going to play out, and what was going to happen to him, especially since everything was happening in which he'd not thought could happen. hal7283
Earlier at the night, just when Damon and Sei had entered the inn, a man who looked like a beggar sleeping by the wall opened his eyes. He stood up and dusted off the dirt on him and walked away, walking across the dark alleys of Tokyo he turned several corners here and there. Finally he sat down beside another beggar, who raised his head to look at the man who came and lowered his head again. And the two began to talk quietly: "Report." "Target has returned to the inn, and he had taken someone with him." "Someone? Be more specific." "A young man who isn't from around here.........he had a wolf spirit with him." "A wolf spirit? ........................... Alright, I'll report to 'him', you go back to your post." The alley returned to silence, and the two beggars stood up and walked separate ways, with one of them returning to the spot around the corner to the inn, and laid down next to the wall sleeping. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hours later in the morning, Father Francis rushed in front of Ren'chi before Ren'chi got too far away, and handed one of the brochure he was giving out to people to him : "Oh, just wair a second....It's a real pleasure to meet a good young man like you. And here is the address of our little house of prayers, if you need anything, or simply want to find someone to chat, please feel free to drop by anytime." Francis smiled and shook hands with Ren'chi before he began to walk towards the group drunken young men. But soon he turned back at Ren'chi again and said : "Oh, almost forgot! If you want to go deeper into Yoshiwara, beware of a brothel called 'Murasaki-ya'. I've heard some strange rumors about the place. Now Good day." Francis bowed and finally left Ren'chi be. ----------------------------------------------- Meanwhile in Murasaki-ya, while most of the courtesans and customers were still fast asleep, some of the employees had began to woke up and begin their daily duties: cooking breakfast for those who work here and the customers who would stay here for the morning meal, and also cleaning up some of the things left over from last night's shift. Murasaki Toushirou himself woke up early as usual, after taking the breakfast he began to walk around the property, seeing how's everyone doing. He walked towards the door and saw the drapes with Murasaki-ya's logo still hanging on the door. "Kenzou! Kenzou where are you!" Murasaki Toushirou yelled and heard no response. He looked around and saw Yasu walking down the hallway and he asked: 'Yasu! Have you seen Kenzou this morning?" "Kenzou?" the thin man tilted his head and scratched his head : "No I haven't What's the matter boss?" "Kenzou forgot to take the drapes down." Toushirou said as he took the drapes down himself, "It's odd, Kenzou usually isn't clumsy like this....Yasu, go around the place and look for Kenzou for me would you?" "Right away boss!" Yasu said before he began to rush down the hallway.
Akira&Shiki
Yuu watched Fuuyo in great intrigue. What exactly was he doing? As Yuu pondered the possibilities, his eyes roamed the room, at first in nervousness and then in awkwardness. His interest was piqued once more when Fuuyo took off his kimono to travel the clothes beneath it. And even more eye catching was the katana that he had concealed only moments before. One wrong move… and I could have been cut down by that katana… Yuu thought to himself. The realization was fearsome. Yuu wanted to hide his surprise, but that was close to impossible. He just watched the sheathed katana on the other's hip, hoping that he would die because of that weapon. After a while, he watched as Fuuyo roamed the edge of the room, sometimes pausing. What was he doing? Was he a spy or something? After a few moments, he gave a small, satisfactory nod, and sat down. Yuu could feel the cold glances of this man. "Um…" Yuu said, keeping his voice low. "Well, even though it's early morning, some of the workers here may be moving about… that's just a warning, so I guess it's best that you hide once someone comes… oh… and if you don't mind me asking, what were you doing near the walls before you say down?" He knew that it wasn't any of his business, but he was curious about that strange action. It just intrigued him to the point of ignorance.
Funny Otaku
Sei followed the other. "I'm sorry...For the trouble tonight."He yawned going into the room. "Oh and Damon..Thank you for everything." He added and then closed the door. Sei was Tierd, and had walked all da helping people...but being his a bit paranoid self he got out one of the spell sheets. He started to say a chant for, protection against evil spirits, gaining health and happiness. "Demons and others who have no faith in the well-esteemed Dispensation of the Buddha always commit evil......" He continued finishing after 10 minutes. After he beckoned for the wolf to come over and lay with him. Instead of using the futon the room provided he played his head on the spirt and fell asleep quickly feeling protected and safe.. ~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
Fuuyo looks over at Yuu, who had spoken up, mentioning about how some of the other workers might already be up and about, and to hide when someone came. He simply nods, crossing his arms over his chest, not really worried about anything at that point. He was safe, there were no officers here trying to catch him, and for the most part, this guy seemed to be intrigued or at least interested by his presence, so he was pretty sure that Yuu would not turn him in either. For now anyways. Glancing over at the inquisitive male, he raises an eyebrow at the question that was asked of him, pondering whether or not he should even bother answering. For a moment he says nothing, before closing his eyes for a few seconds, before concentrating his gaze on the Yuu. "That's none of your concern." He looks away, the sound of his voice obviously stating he wasn't in the mood to be asked questions. Nor was he in the mood to answer them either. "Just know that you'll be safe in this room." With that statement he falls silent, and closes his eyes again, though even with them closed, he was completely aware of his surroundings, not lowering his guard even for a second. Fuuyo was a rather blunt person, and could be quite rude at times, to the point of being antisocial or even stuck up by the way he treated others, and this time was no different from any other before. Yes, Fuuyo was grateful for the hospitality of the other male, yes he was thankful for Yuu letting him stay...but even so. And it was obvious that he was no longer in the mood to talk, or interact, and wanted to be left alone.
Bloodbunny
Ren'chi smiled slightly as he once again met with the man from before. "Yes it was nice to meet you as well.." Ren'chi was starting to get tired from wandering around most of the night something seemed off and he was certain that he was going to find out what was off before he left. Ren'chi took the brochure and began to scan over it before putting it away. "I'll probably drop by to see you soon... wait a brothel called Murasaki-ya? alright I'll be careful....farewell." Ren'chi found the urge to go and check on this so called Murasaki-ya, maybe they were behind this.
Tacita_Virtus
Even as he lay there, seemingly asleep, Damon could still sense whatever was going on around him. He could tell exactly what the one known as Seishin was doing, as well as the people outside. When he'd made his way into the inn, he'd noticed someone rather odd sitting in the shadows, apparently a beggar of some sort, but for some reason the air around that particular person had made him uneasy. Rolling onto his back, he slowly opens his eyes, staring up at the ceiling, a soft sigh escaping his lips, his arms folded back behind his head, and sighs softly. He had a feeling that things were about to get a bit more complicated for him from now on, meaning he had to watch his back a little more carefully than he already did. Which, to Damon, was going to be a pain. However, if it meant staying alive, he guessed he had not choice but to do so. Because he was in no obligation to get himself into danger by any means at all. Keeping the secret that he had was also going to be a hard one as well, since no doubt some people would catch on to his pattern of sleeping during the day, and only going out during the night time hours. Be that as it may, and when that time came, he guessed he would just have to move on. Away from Japan, the place of interesting things and happenings, and go somewhere else, to a new location, and start over again. Turning to his side, he glances towards the door, before sighing again, before closing his eyes once more. No need to worry. Not yet anyways. For now, he needed to rest, and get his energy, before going out again that evening. If and when the confrontation happened, Damon would be more than ready. And his pursuers should be ready to, because he wasn't going to go down without a fight.
hal7283
"Kenzou~~~~~~~Kenzou where are you!!!!" "Kenzou!! Say something if you can here us!" "Kenzou!!!" "Kenzou!!" Deep in the alleys of Yoshiwara, the quiet morning was interrupted by the shouts of people, and the voices was most loud around Murasaki-ya. Courtesans and customers alike were awaken by the commotion, and began to look out the doors and windows to see what's going on. What began with Murasaki looking for Kenzou has grown into a wide search for the missing door guard, who was nowhere to be found. As times goes on more and more people began to join the search. One of the man working at Murasaki-ya rushed to Murasaki's side and said"Boss I went to his home but no one was there! His wife said he didn't came home last night!" "He didn't went home?" Murasaki thought for a while, then he said to the man: "Go to Tsuru-maru's place and see if he's there!" "Right away!" the man rushed off again. "Kenzou...where the hell are you.." Murasaki muttered quietly. Kenzou's disappearance reminded him of the recent deaths happening around Yoshiwara, and he began to fear the worst for the bid man. He shook his head to shrug off bad thought and decided to begin checking the courtesan's rooms, even though he knew it's unlikely he would be there, Murasaki is running out of place to search. ------------------------------------ Meanwhile in another part of Yoshiwara, Ren'chi was walking in one of the countless alleys of Yoshiwara. As he walks he suddenly a wave of smell was carried by the wind to Ren'chi's nose. The smell was sweet and gentle, and could made people feel like he's in an ocean of flowers. But there's a tint of something else mixed in the pleasurable aroma, something far, far less pleasant. And the source of the smell wasn't far from Ren'chi. In the shadow of the small alley there was a pile of straw mats, and under it someone's hand was visible, surrounded by a pool of dried, dark liquid. Akira&Shiki
Hearing the rather blunt and brusque response, Yuu huffed. He didn't like the answer, but he understood that the subject had nothing to do with him. If that was the case, then Yuu would leave it alone. The courtesan sat back and watched the other man in a mixture of curiosity and impatience. Was he going to just sit there and do nothing? When Fuuyo told him that he would be safe in the room, Yuu frowned. If this meant that Fuuuo would protect him… This man… Yuu thought. Why is he just sitting there with his eyes closed? Is his guard all the way down? After a few moments of watching Fuuyo, Yuu poured another cup of tea and stared at the steam. A sudden chill ran down his spine and his attention was caught by the yelling from outside of his window. People were calling Kenzou, the door guard's name. Yuu got up and peered out to window to see a large group of people searching around the area, calling Kenzou's name. The loud calls would wake anyone up. Yuu stuck his head back into his room and looked at Fuuyo. He wanted to ask him if he knew anything about the commotion outside, but the other's cold atmosphere kept him at bay and quiet.
