Athan wrapped his arms around his boyfriend's shoulders, pressing close to his body. "I'll love you no matter what Samuel..." He said softly. "Even if you're... I don't know... Secretly a dragon who eats puppies or something..?" He was trying to make a joke, but he wasn't very good at humor so he just felt stupid for saying anything. "Sorry... That doesn't make any sense does it..? I just mean I can't think of anything that would make me think any less of you. There's plenty of stuff that would surprise me of course"

Samuel shook his head, a soft hiccup slipping out of his mouth. "I can't." He whispered helplessly, his arms wrapped tightly around the other. "I don't want to... To h-hurt you..." He hiccuped again, trying his hardest not to start sobbing. This was already bad enough as it was. If Athan ever saw him during his transformation... He was sure his boyfriend wouldn't want to even look at him anymore. As a werewolf, he was unstable and fucking terrifying. No one could be around him. He trusted Samantha to literally lock him up in a little cell he had in his basement. Being a werewolf was just a curse.

Athan frowned and hugged him tightly. "You won't hurt me..." He said softly. "I'm not as weak as I seem..." He didn't understand what Samuel was talking about, how could he? All he knew was that there was something that the man was scared of saying... "You don't have to tell me if you aren't ready, just please don't think that I can't deal with helping you. I want to be here for you no matter what"

Samuel hiccuped again, shaking his head desperately. "Please... T-There's no way to help me, but... But... I just... I'm so scared of hurting you..." He whispered, clinging onto his boyfriend. Perhaps he was becoming so mentally unstable because it was almost full moon. "I'm so, so sorry..." He apologized quietly, squeezing his boyfriend tightly, close to himself.

[Kotorichan]

"I want to be here for you... Even if I can't change your circumstances, I can at least be here so you can talk to me about things..." Athan snuggled into his chest. "You've always been here for me to talk to about my dumb problems... It's not like you can hurt me by just talking about what's on your mind, right?" He smiled up at the man. "Just trust me, I really do care about you"

"B-But... But... Athan, I... I'm not... Human." He hiccuped, a new wave of tears flooding his eyes. The werewolf didn't manage to look up, keeping his forehead pressed against Athan's shoulder, his own shoulders trembling. It was so terrifying to admit it. He had no idea what kind of a reaction to expect. The word werewolf itself didn't come out of his mouth. It felt too much like poison to say it out loud.

Athan froze, trying to process his boyfriend's words. Not human...? But then what could he be..? He bit his lip and forced down his feelings of fear and confusion. This was still the man he fell in love with... Still the gentle and kind Samuel who was always there for him no matter what.

Athan tightened his arms around the man's shoulders. "As... As long as you're Samuel" He said softly, "I'll still love you no matter what..." I

t was all he could say, he really couldn't think of what the man could say or do that change his mind. Athan had felt this way for so long it had become part of his identity. Who would he be if he didn't love Samuel?

Hearing Athan's words terrified Samuel even more. He wasn't himself when it came to full moon. If Athan found out what he was, he would hate him. This only fueled the fear. He seemed to be completely distraught, his body shaking as his arms squeezed around his boyfriend, desperately keeping him to himself, as if scared he would leave. He couldn't control his emotions whatsoever. He didn't know how to get himself to stop. Hell, he may as well have been having a panic attack the way he was. Being a werewolf was a curse. He was just a monster. He would hurt everyone he loved, everyone who ever came near him. Those thoughts spun around in Samuel's head, his breathing coming in short, desperate pants as he wailed, nails digging into Athan's skin through the material of his clothes. He didn't deserve anyone. His mother should've drowned him when he was born.

[Kotorichan]

Athan let out a soft whimper of pain as he felt the man's nails digging into his skin. "S-Samuel? What's wrong?" He looked up at him, his eyes watering. "If you're not human then doesn't that mean that you've never been human?" He pressed to Samuel's chest. "You're still the man I fell in love with... Telling me that what you are doesn't change anything"

After a moment of hesitation he leaned up and kissed Samuel deeply.

Samuel's hands immediately got yanked away from Athan when he heard the whimper of pain. He hiccuped softly, fingers trembling as he was kissed. Hesitantly, he placed his hands on the other's hips, kissing him back while tears slowly rolled down his cheeks. He couldn't get himself to say it out loud, even if Athan wanted him to. It was... And ugly word, for him. The werewolf pulled away from the kiss after a little bit, looking down, unable to meet Athan's gaze. "I'm sorry..." He muttered out weakly, sniffling softly.

[Kotorichan]

"What... What are you then...?" Athan asked softly. "Maybe it will help if you know I won't be bothered by what you are specifically..?" He reached up and gently touched the man's cheek. "I love you Samuel... I don't want to see you upset like this" He really had no idea what Samuel could be. The man had never seemed strange or inhuman...

Samuel shook his head vigorously, flinching slightly when his cheek was touched. No, Athan would be disgusted and terrified by him if he knew. This was bad enough as it was. He didn't want to make it worse. "I can't." He muttered out, reaching up to wipe his eyes, sniffling quietly. He couldn't believe he broke down so easily... Though this only meant that it was time for him to, well, get locked up. He didn't want to become unstable around Athan.

Athan pulled his hand away when the man flinched. "Samuel please... I want to know..." He could feel his own eyes filling with tears. Why wouldn't he say what he was? Was it really something so awful? "I won't think of you any differently, I swear, so please..." He wiped his eyes on his sleeve. "I-I'm just gonna end up worrying even more if you don't tell me"

Samuel wasn't sure what was worse by now - revealing his identity or seeing Athan this upset and know it was his fault. Perhaps it was better to just... Say it. He didn't want to, he was still terrified, but at least then Athan could run away and he'd never be hurt by Samuel again. "I-I'm... I'm a... Werewolf." He forced the word out through clenched teeth, as if he himself was disgusted by what he was.

[Kotorichan]

Werewolf... That didn't even seem like a possibility. Athan knew that all kinds of non-human creatures existed. But a werewolf? He didn't even know what that could really mean. Did Samuel turn into a literal wolf? Or some kind of wolf-man creature? Could he control himself?

"I..." He gently took the man's hands and squeezed them gently. "I'd be lying if I said that didn't sound scary..." He admitted. "But I still love you. If you're a werewolf that just means we have to be careful around the full moon, right? You're still you the rest of the time.."

Samuel felt relief washing over him like an enormous flood. He hiccuped softly, this time out of relief. "Y-Yeah..." He replied quietly, looking up at the other uncertainly. "You have no idea... How much this means to me- to, to hear you say this." The werewolf thanked softly, intertwining their fingers gently, sniffling softly. "I... Won't judge you if it becomes too hard to stick around." He added quietly after a bit, looking down at their connected hands. He'd rather Athan be away from him in fear than hurt him while in his werewolf form.

[Kotorichan]

"Samuel..." Athan snuggled into his chest. "That's my line... I can't handle something as simple as going on a date with you... I won't judge you if want someone who can go out and do stuff with you" He looked away, letting his hair fall in front of his face. "Or someone who doesn't look... Like me"

Dating a werewolf was more unusual and probably more dangerous than dating someone as fearful as Athan. But it seemed like Samuel knew how to deal with it fairly well, otherwise Athan would have found out sooner.

Samuel wrapped his arms tightly around the other, settling his chin against Athan's head. "But you're gorgeous." He muttered out, gently stroking his back, feeling his eyes tingling from how much he'd cried. "I mean... A-Anyone who can deal with me being... Being... That, I... Admire." He murmured, painfully obviously ashamed of what he was. He doubted he could ever really be proud of that. He became a mindless monster during full moon, that was nothing to be proud of.

"I'm not gorgeous..." Athan mumbled, his cheeks going red. "I guess we're kinda perfect for each other then... Both of us feel like something no one can love" He meant it as a joke, but as usual it didn't sound like one. "Um... So... Are you o-okay with telling me what h-happens on the full moon..?"

Samuel let out a weak chuckle at Athan's joke, though his smile quickly died out at the question. Just telling Athan what he was was hard, but this... "Let's just say there's a cell in this house, occupied every month for a couple of days." He muttered out, his hands squeezing into fists as he leaned down, pressing his forehead against Athan's shoulder. He'd never be able to live a normal life, that was for sure.

[Kotorichan]

"Oh..." Athan wrapped his arms around the man's shoulders and hugged hims tightly. "I'm sorry..." It was a really scary idea, that Samuel would become a literal monster for a few days a month. Although it was probably even worse for Samuel. It must be terrifying to be out of control for that long. "I guess... All I can really offer to do is sit by you and bring you food when you're like that..."

Samuel probably would've cried more if he didn't feel like his tear ducts were emptied entirely by now. "You don't have to do that." He muttered out, his hands wrapped tightly around his boyfriend. "I wouldn't understand it was you anyway... And... If I g-... If I got out, if the cell wasn't locked properly, I could... End up hurting you..." He whispered, seemingly terrified of that possibility.

"I... I know... It's really scary to think about you turning into something that might hurt me... O-or worse..." Athan snuggled into his chest, his voice shaking. "But... I wanna be there for you, even if it's scary" Samuel had always been so patient with Athan, so now it was his turn to be patient and help his boyfriend. "I mean, it must be even more scary for you right..? You don't have any control over it, I could leave if I got too scared or only do it once. But you don't have a choice, and you always have to worry that you might really hurt someone you care about. Right?"

Samuel couldn't find words that described how grateful he felt. Pulling back slightly, he pressed their lips together instead, pulling Athan into a sweet, soft kiss. He didn't have control of himself during those few days on the full moon, but he had full control of himself now. He intended to use that. Letting the kiss continue for a little while, he soon pulled back, pressing their foreheads together gently. "Just... Don't force yourself to stay if you can't. I understand. If I were you, I'd be running away." He let out a light laugh, closing his eyes. He couldn't even think about hurting Athan. He couldn't.

Athan blushed deeply as their lips met. Without thinking be pressed closer to Samuel, lightly touching the man's cheek. "I want to stay with you..." He murmured, looking up into his boyfriend's eyes. "You're really important to me..." His gaze moved away, trying to hide his embarrassment. "I-I really love you... I don't want your be alone"
